- 0:08Speaker 1: A shot. Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naughty Bird Night Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host Rob Shooter. It's a bright shoesday here
- 0:21Speaker 1: in New York City. Joining ours is even more bright,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Miss did Lama Dixon, Misty. Where in the world are
- 0:27Speaker 1: you today? Hello? Mr Shooter? While I am back in
- 0:31Speaker 1: Georgia and I have to say it's a little chilly
- 0:34Speaker 1: here as well. I'm staying inside. You know what, I've
- 0:38Speaker 1: got my Diana The Voice of Change book by Stuart Pierre,
- 0:41Speaker 1: So I'm learning all about Diana. She would have been
- 0:44Speaker 1: sixty this year. Sixty. Interesting you said that. We actually
- 0:47Speaker 1: taped yesterday an interview with Stuart Stewart, used to be
- 0:51Speaker 1: Princess Diana's vocal coach and friend, and we did a
- 0:55Speaker 1: special bonus podcast that will be airing this swee go
- 0:59Speaker 1: at tea teas. Hey, let's jump into today's show because
- 1:03Speaker 1: there's so much gossip to get to. What time is it,
- 1:06Speaker 1: my friends? It is big story at the top of
- 1:10Speaker 1: the show. So Janet Jackson just put out a very
- 1:13Speaker 1: cryptical response to justin timber Lakes what some people are
- 1:17Speaker 1: saying disgusting reaction to her wardrobe malfunction. So after the
- 1:22Speaker 1: release of Malfunction, the dressing down of Janet Jackson, which
- 1:27Speaker 1: is our new documentary by the same people that brought
- 1:30Speaker 1: us the Britney Spears documentary. Now Janet herself has something
- 1:35Speaker 1: to say, so, the fifty five year old singer took
- 1:39Speaker 1: to social media with a very cryptic post just hours
- 1:44Speaker 1: after the new documentary launched, premiered on Hulua. She said
- 1:49Speaker 1: the following, not sure if you got the memo, but
- 1:54Speaker 1: we're not competing anymore. We're appreciating an upting each other instead.
- 2:03Speaker 1: What do you mean It's been seventeen years since this
- 2:08Speaker 1: has gone down, the whole broggy that happened at the
- 2:12Speaker 1: halftime show, and I'm sure Janet just wants to put
- 2:14Speaker 1: it behind her. I mean, she's become a mother, She's
- 2:18Speaker 1: toward the world I think two times over or maybe
- 2:21Speaker 1: even more since this has happened. And for them to
- 2:24Speaker 1: keep bringing it up, to keep talking about it, I'm
- 2:27Speaker 1: sure she's tired of it. I know I would be
- 2:30Speaker 1: put my boobies and leave them alone. Janet didn't mention
- 2:36Speaker 1: the documentary at right, Fans quickly noticed that one of
- 2:40Speaker 1: its subjects, a person in the documentary just think Timberlake
- 2:44Speaker 1: himself responded by liking the post. Now, so just tell
- 2:48Speaker 1: me that Janet has never actually gotten over this. And
- 2:51Speaker 1: what she means by that quote is that after this
- 2:55Speaker 1: incident happened, which involved two people, instead of competing to
- 2:59Speaker 1: see who was to blame, she wished herself and Justin
- 3:03Speaker 1: had worked together to find a solution to this. Let's
- 3:06Speaker 1: not forget Janet was left holding the bag, so to speak.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Justin's career went on fine. A couple of weeks later,
- 3:14Speaker 1: he was at the Grammys on CBS where he won.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Janet pretty much disappeared and it really really really affected
- 3:21Speaker 1: her career, some people believe for over a decade. So
- 3:24Speaker 1: at the time, CBS forced her to apologize. Years later,
- 3:29Speaker 1: Janet told Oprah that she regretted actually doing that apology. Meanwhile,
- 3:35Speaker 1: Justin just joked about it at first, he told Entertainment
- 3:38Speaker 1: Tonight some silliness. Later he did offer an apology. But
- 3:42Speaker 1: I think we can say it was Justin that got
- 3:45Speaker 1: away with this, not Janet, which brings us to our
- 3:48Speaker 1: phole question of the day. Janet Jackson has just put
- 3:52Speaker 1: out a cryptical response to what some people are saying
- 3:55Speaker 1: is Justin Timberlake's disgusting reaction to her wardrobe mal function.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Should Janet tell all? Should she tell all? She was there,
- 4:04Speaker 1: she knows what happens to this day. Don't really know
- 4:08Speaker 1: her side of the story. Was this plan? Did he
- 4:11Speaker 1: do it? Was he in on this? Had they sat together?
- 4:14Speaker 1: What was going on? Should she tell all? Or should
- 4:18Speaker 1: she say? Nothing can be going? Don't forget? Devotes to
- 4:22Speaker 1: a page at Naughty Noise. Rob at Facebook page is
- 4:25Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment there and Missilla
- 4:28Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Miss Love,
- 4:31Speaker 1: what are you working on there? Oh? Well? Adele is
- 4:34Speaker 1: breaking down in tears. I'm gonna tell you why. So
- 4:36Speaker 1: she was surprised on stage by one of her favorite
- 4:39Speaker 1: school teachers who she hadn't seen in twenty years. So
- 4:43Speaker 1: Adele returned home to London to perform at the London
- 4:46Speaker 1: Palladium and during the performance, she was asked by Emma Thompson,
- 4:50Speaker 1: you know, just her famous friend, if she had anybody
- 4:53Speaker 1: who encouraged her when she was growing up. So Adele said,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I had a teacher at Chestnut Grove. It was a
- 5:00Speaker 1: school in South London. Maybe you know what Rob, And
- 5:02Speaker 1: it was Ms McDonald She got me into English literature,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but she also did street dance, and she was just
- 5:09Speaker 1: so bloody cool and so engaging. She really made us care. Okay,
- 5:14Speaker 1: It was then that Miss McDonald popped up. It was
- 5:18Speaker 1: revealed she was in the audience, and she came on stage.
- 5:21Speaker 1: She hugged Adele, and and Adele of course, was like,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I didn't know you were going to be here. It
- 5:26Speaker 1: was just such a sweet reunion. Rob. Do you have
- 5:30Speaker 1: a favorite teacher that really encouraged you to become the
- 5:33Speaker 1: man that you are. Mrs Higgins changed my life as
- 5:38Speaker 1: about thirteen or little fourteen years old, maybe twelve. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: remember her name to this day. She was the art
- 5:43Speaker 1: teacher at school. I wasn't particularly gifted in art, but
- 5:47Speaker 1: I was very much wanting to express myself, and I
- 5:50Speaker 1: felt different to all the other little boys and girls
- 5:53Speaker 1: in that school. Not only was my arm damaged, I
- 5:56Speaker 1: was in the closet. I was gay, but I didn't
- 5:58Speaker 1: know what that meant back then. It was a very
- 6:00Speaker 1: working class industrial town where people didn't talk about these things.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So hand me a paintbrush and suddenly I felt really free.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But I remember her to this day. Let me say
- 6:12Speaker 1: her name mcgaine, Mrs Higgins, who's yours? Mr Lana dixoner Oh,
- 6:18Speaker 1: mine would be Miss Grace. So when I was in
- 6:21Speaker 1: junior high, UM, I love to sing, and she was
- 6:25Speaker 1: my music teacher, so she was actually, you have an
- 6:28Speaker 1: amazing voice. So she would come to my house. We
- 6:30Speaker 1: would take voice less and she could tell you when
- 6:33Speaker 1: your voice was changing, you were going through changes when
- 6:36Speaker 1: you were in junior high. UM, and she just kind
- 6:39Speaker 1: of fostered my love of singing. I'm a second soprano
- 6:43Speaker 1: for anybody who wanted to get Thank you very much.
- 6:47Speaker 1: It's amazing. You don't have to be a teacher to
- 6:49Speaker 1: change someone's life. Try and do something really nice for
- 6:52Speaker 1: somebody today. You're not going to remember it, but they
- 6:55Speaker 1: were moving alone. Bobby Flay has struck a three you
- 7:00Speaker 1: a deal with the Food Network. So if you remember
- 7:02Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago it was reported that Bobby
- 7:04Speaker 1: Flay was leaving the network will now they have come
- 7:07Speaker 1: to terms. So Bobby wanted a hundred million dollars to stay.
- 7:12Speaker 1: That's after Guy Fieary he got about eighty million dollars,
- 7:17Speaker 1: So they're very competitive. Guy and Bobby FLAYIR So this
- 7:22Speaker 1: looked impossible. It wasn't gonna happen. Now, suddenly they came
- 7:26Speaker 1: to a compromise. My sources are telling me the Discovery
- 7:29Speaker 1: who owned the Food Network, was so angry with him,
- 7:32Speaker 1: they cut off talks. They just said goodbye, not going
- 7:35Speaker 1: to work after twenty seven years. They felt as if
- 7:38Speaker 1: they were being almost like shook down with this crazy demand.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That's a lot of money. But when you think about
- 7:44Speaker 1: all the shows he does beat Bobby Flair, Bobby on
- 7:48Speaker 1: the Coast, there's a like about three or four shows
- 7:51Speaker 1: he has on that network. They do raise a lot
- 7:53Speaker 1: of money. So I hit the phones. My sources tell
- 7:56Speaker 1: me he didn't get a hundred million dollars, but he
- 7:58Speaker 1: got a lot of lot a lot a lot of money.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So this I think works out for everybody. They say
- 8:06Speaker 1: to know your word, But it gets me very, very
- 8:09Speaker 1: scared when I go in and even ask for a
- 8:11Speaker 1: small raise. I don't think I've got the hotspur to
- 8:14Speaker 1: ask for anything like that. Mistake. What about you? You
- 8:18Speaker 1: know me, I have the hardest time asking for anything.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Could you please pass the salt? Oh my goodness, I
- 8:25Speaker 1: hope I said that correctly. But we have to think
- 8:27Speaker 1: about Bobby Flay. I don't know about you, but every
- 8:29Speaker 1: time I turn on the Food Network, he's on, He's
- 8:32Speaker 1: doing a show, So he's definitely he's definitely doing the work.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And we have to think about Discovery Plus, which is
- 8:40Speaker 1: their streaming platform, and it's just it's just a constant
- 8:44Speaker 1: need to be fed with content. So he's creating new
- 8:47Speaker 1: shows that he's going to bring to the network. A
- 8:49Speaker 1: hundred million. Oh, I can't even imagine that number. But
- 8:53Speaker 1: like I said, he's working hard, so it might just
- 8:56Speaker 1: add up to all the minutes he do might add
- 8:59Speaker 1: up to a hundred million dollars. Yeah, you might be right,
- 9:02Speaker 1: if you've really hit the nail on the head. This
- 9:04Speaker 1: is all about streaming now. So obviously he shows on
- 9:07Speaker 1: the Food Network. They repeat constantly, so he always appears
- 9:10Speaker 1: to be on there. But now he's going to make
- 9:13Speaker 1: new shows tour for their streaming service. And you know what,
- 9:16Speaker 1: if you get the audience, if you bring the viewers in,
- 9:18Speaker 1: you deserve the big bucks. There is nobody on that
- 9:21Speaker 1: network maybe Guy Fiery, but nobody else that really really
- 9:26Speaker 1: brings in the numbers the viewers like Bobby does. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: think he's become the face of the Network. I think
- 9:31Speaker 1: when you think of the Food Network, the first person
- 9:34Speaker 1: you think of is Bobby Flay. And get this a
- 9:36Speaker 1: little exclusive. My sources tell me the Food Network are
- 9:39Speaker 1: also going to develop a morning talk show with him.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Bobby for many, many years has wanted a morning show.
- 9:46Speaker 1: He taped one for CBS about ten years ago, and
- 9:49Speaker 1: it didn't go anywhere. I saw the pilot. He was fantastic.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm not sure why he didn't get his own show.
- 9:56Speaker 1: But now I'm told there will be a morning show
- 9:59Speaker 1: centered around and I guess breakfast food and what you
- 10:02Speaker 1: do in the morning, celebrity guests. I think this is
- 10:05Speaker 1: actually a really good idea. Hey, what's going on with
- 10:09Speaker 1: Jesse Smollett. We haven't seen him a lot. He's been
- 10:13Speaker 1: out of the public eye, but he made a rare
- 10:15Speaker 1: red carpet appearance just recently. So of course he's from Empire.
- 10:20Speaker 1: He's been the subject of controversy for years after allegedly
- 10:24Speaker 1: faking a hate crime back in two thousand nineteen, but
- 10:28Speaker 1: of course he maintained his in innocence, and as recently
- 10:31Speaker 1: as July he's been going back into the court on
- 10:34Speaker 1: renewed charges, including six counts of felony misconduct for legendly
- 10:40Speaker 1: lying to police about a racist, homophobic attack that he
- 10:43Speaker 1: claims was against him. Now this appearance, his red carpet appearance,
- 10:48Speaker 1: comes day but before. Jesse is due to appear in
- 10:51Speaker 1: court once again on November twenty nine, just a few
- 10:54Speaker 1: days away, for his role in this allegedly phony hate crime.
- 10:59Speaker 1: So remind you what it was. So back in two
- 11:02Speaker 1: thousand and nineteen, he originally told police that he was
- 11:06Speaker 1: attacked by two men who shouted rachel and homophobic slurs
- 11:11Speaker 1: at him. They allegedly tied a rope around his neck
- 11:14Speaker 1: and poured liquid on him. The two men that he
- 11:17Speaker 1: worked with on Empire came forward and said that he
- 11:20Speaker 1: actually paid him thirty five hundred dollars to stage this
- 11:25Speaker 1: entire event as a publicity stunt. I remember that, Ironmber crazy,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I know. And in a couple of days November twenty nine,
- 11:34Speaker 1: he's going to be back in court a quickly before
- 11:37Speaker 1: we go to break Come in like a bellow who
- 11:39Speaker 1: broke up with Shawn. Mendes's back out there. We told
- 11:41Speaker 1: you about the breakup a couple of days ago. Well,
- 11:43Speaker 1: now she's gone from bare face to glamor in a
- 11:45Speaker 1: new photograph. She posted a new picture with icy blue hair,
- 11:49Speaker 1: lots of makeup on. She looks fab She said, Okay,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I clean up, Well, yes you do. How do you
- 11:57Speaker 1: feel about a post breakup and make over? It's not
- 12:01Speaker 1: that uncommon, Mr You No, I mean you're hurting so
- 12:05Speaker 1: much on the inside, so sometimes you have to kind
- 12:08Speaker 1: of redo the outside, kind of remind your mind and
- 12:12Speaker 1: your brain that you are amazing and fabulous from the
- 12:15Speaker 1: inside out. So sometimes a haircut, some new lipstick. It's
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's like Liza says, you know, I got my nails done. Um,
- 12:25Speaker 1: so you have to do that, and there's nothing wrong
- 12:28Speaker 1: with it. Some people might say, oh, you have to
- 12:30Speaker 1: fix your heart, But like I said, you're taking a
- 12:33Speaker 1: moment to just remind yourself that you're beautiful outside. But
- 12:37Speaker 1: also and it's kind of it kind of works. It's
- 12:39Speaker 1: just it's just tricks and plays your brain a little bit.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Well said, do whatever you need to do to make
- 12:45Speaker 1: yourself feel better. Hey, you we're going to take a
- 12:46Speaker 1: quick break and we will be like back, Welcome back
- 12:51Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Night Show. I'm robtreting with that,
- 12:54Speaker 1: dear friend, Missy de Lady Dixon hey, mister, let's get
- 12:56Speaker 1: to the polls. Yesterday we talk about Britney Spears, who
- 13:01Speaker 1: was slamming Christina Aguilera for refusing to speak out about
- 13:06Speaker 1: Brittaney's conservatorship. Should Christina have said something? So just a
- 13:10Speaker 1: little bit of context here, Christina was on the Red
- 13:12Speaker 1: Carpets and an award show. She was asked about Brittany.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Her publicist pulled her away. Should have Christina took hold
- 13:19Speaker 1: of that mike and said something, Let's have a look.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Said no, they don't believe she should have. I'm surprised here.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I thought it would be the other way around. What
- 13:28Speaker 1: do you think about the result? M do you well?
- 13:30Speaker 1: I think people think that Christina and Brittany kind of
- 13:33Speaker 1: came up in the same time and the same kind
- 13:35Speaker 1: of atmosphere, and so she would really have a candid
- 13:39Speaker 1: and kind of inside view on what's going on for Brittany.
- 13:42Speaker 1: But again, she's never been in this situation, so I'm
- 13:46Speaker 1: not sure what kind of comments she could have made
- 13:48Speaker 1: on it other than say I'm happy that Brittany is
- 13:51Speaker 1: finally get to live her life in her own way,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and that's pretty much the only thing she should have said.
- 13:56Speaker 1: She shouldn't have gone into some deep commentary. She's not
- 13:59Speaker 1: an expert conservatorships, you know, so it's not really her place.
- 14:04Speaker 1: And she can of course always say, well, you know,
- 14:06Speaker 1: my publicists pulled me away. She can blame it on
- 14:08Speaker 1: the PDR. That's what you're there for. Hey, don't forget
- 14:12Speaker 1: to vote on today's poll. I Twitter the page at
- 14:15Speaker 1: Nuty nice, Robert on Facebook page and the sewer to
- 14:18Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 14:21Speaker 1: time for nicest. So our nicest of the day is
- 14:28Speaker 1: Dwayne Johnson. That's the rock because he wants to be
- 14:31Speaker 1: the next Bond. So we did an interview with Esquire
- 14:35Speaker 1: magazine and he said he wants to succeed Daniel Craig
- 14:38Speaker 1: as the iconic spy. Now get this, Dwayne's grandfather played
- 14:44Speaker 1: a villain in the nineteen sixty seven Double O seventh films.
- 14:48Speaker 1: He only lived twice. So he said, yes, my grandfather
- 14:52Speaker 1: was a Bond villain with Sean Connery. It was very,
- 14:55Speaker 1: very cool, and I would like to follow in the
- 14:57Speaker 1: footsteps a Bond and be the next one. I don't
- 15:01Speaker 1: want to be the villain. You gotta be Bond. We
- 15:05Speaker 1: all know Daniel Craig just finished his run as Bond,
- 15:08Speaker 1: so the spot is open. But I hear that they're
- 15:11Speaker 1: angling to have a woman. What do you think wrong?
- 15:15Speaker 1: My grandfather was a minor and I don't think I
- 15:17Speaker 1: want to be one of those. So I'm not sure
- 15:19Speaker 1: that logic completely completely adds up here. But best of
- 15:24Speaker 1: look to the rock. I really really like him and
- 15:26Speaker 1: nicest that the day and now and naughtiest of the day.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Naughty Jennifer Lawrence is reflecting back on that nude photo hack.
- 15:35Speaker 1: So Jennifer was impacted by a number of breaches of
- 15:39Speaker 1: privacy throughout the years. However, the most noticeable was the
- 15:44Speaker 1: leak of nude photographs in two thousand and fourteen, which
- 15:48Speaker 1: she says still traumatizes her. She told Vanity Fair the
- 15:53Speaker 1: following quote, anyone can go and look at my naked
- 15:56Speaker 1: body without my consent any time of the day. Somebody
- 16:01Speaker 1: in France just published them. My trauma will exist forever.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Lawrence was one of multiple victims of the hacking, including
- 16:10Speaker 1: Kate Upton and Kristen Dunced. She said at the time quote,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it is not a scandal. It is a sex crime.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It is a sexual violation. It is disgusting. Since then,
- 16:24Speaker 1: all four hackers involved have served time in prison. And
- 16:29Speaker 1: naughtiest of the day, Jennifer, you are right, and before
- 16:33Speaker 1: we go, let's have a moment of rob You get
- 16:36Speaker 1: a Robb, you get a Rubbi, get a Rubbia Robber.
- 16:38Speaker 1: The only way to crush the nasty voices is by
- 16:41Speaker 1: going after your dreams, no matter what the voices in
- 16:44Speaker 1: your head or anybody else tells you were, taking action,
- 16:48Speaker 1: Taking action and believing in yourself is the best way
- 16:53Speaker 1: to prove all those nasty voices, all those people that
- 16:58Speaker 1: they are wrong. Hey, that's it for today. Thank you
- 17:02Speaker 1: so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
- 17:05Speaker 1: Robin ms T show, a production of I Heart Radio.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio Apple
- 17:12Speaker 1: Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review if
