Milwaukee PD released footage from a June 16th shooting near 64th and Sheridan, where officers responded to an active shooter call, encountered a masked suspect, and fired—resulting in the suspect’s arrest and hospitalization (expected to be okay). An AR-style pistol was found at the scene. Two officers, with 2+ and 8+ years on the force, are on administrative leave as the investigation continues. No other injuries reported.
