Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: changes the only way your life grows.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_04]: People that are currently in their circle stop them from moving ahead when the people that you're really going to impact, you haven't even met them yet.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: How can we be bigger, faster, better, more impactful?
- 0:15[SPEAKER_04]: Because the people that become successful merge with someone.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: What you're seeing us do in real time is literally what generational building is all about.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_04]: Some of the things that we are doing as entrepreneurs are so tough because you're the only person you have to think through it.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: Some of you are living
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: Your life right now based on what you have been conditioned to believe is available to you, and I am here to tell you that so much more is available.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: You have more access than you think you do.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: You have more opportunity than you think you do, and sometimes it's just about getting into different environments, getting into different rooms.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't until I walked into a room full of millionaires that I said, oh, oh, this is available.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: I want people to love the result more than they love me or you, right?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: I want you guys to be in our community because you have to get somewhere.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: Your business has to get somewhere.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Your mindset has to get somewhere.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Your money has to get somewhere and whether it's me or David or X or Y or Z or a guess that we bring in, it's not like we make the mistake.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: You stay stuck by.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: becoming mentally stuck to somebody.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like, of course, we want people that we mentor, that are here for years.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: We love the mentor you for years, but not at the expense of your success.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: We want you to be successful more than we want you to like us.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: But you should be able to do both because our we're doing is helping you become successful.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_04]: 100% 100% so I think this is going to be really exciting for those that are tuning in Welcome to the social proof podcast.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_04]: Daniel, I are doing something that we probably should have did a very, very, very long time ago.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_04]: where we are merging communities into one community that we can serve and I think this says a lot about collaboration, about how egos don't always have to get in the way.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_04]: I know when it comes to situations like this, there's always one person, maybe they're afraid that someone wanted the other person might take their audience and vice versa, but I'm so glad we don't have to deal with that because we are focused on the success of the thing that we're building, not because individually
- 2:43[SPEAKER_04]: We'll always do well, individually.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_04]: Well, financially, personally, in business, whatever, right?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm so glad that we don't have to compete.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_04]: I brought, I'll say it all the time, just like the double reinforced, that Donnie is a way better commuter get it in the night.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_04]: She just talks in like, it's like a wave.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_04]: I have a bit of a stutter in my brain.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_04]: Calculates while I'm talking, and sometimes it comes out a little unclear to my take me a little.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, yeah, I'm just super impressed with that.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_04]: But while we're on the podcast, I never feel the need to say, man, Donnie's cooking.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_04]: I need to say something profound right now.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_04]: Because in plus, I always just, I want ever since we very beginning.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I wanted you to win.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to remember it, we were talking about starting your own podcast, and I think we talked about it on the podcast, and some people thought I was saying that, oh, she needs to get off of here and do something else so that I can have, and that wasn't it.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_04]: The whole goal was we do it together, you have something on your own because I know the power of what you have to say and how you communicate it.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm so glad we don't have that dynamic.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: we don't compete and it's interesting because it's so easy to do.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would even argue to say it's so natural to do because we do a very similar thing.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think that you and I possess a lot of the same skill sets.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: There are obvious like standout differences.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I think even with us in terms of our skills that is just that you're more interested in one lane and I'm more interested in the other lane, but we could really do a lot of the same things, right, plus or minus a few things.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so be really easy for us to feel like.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: We have the same audience in a very similar skill set and we have to compete and all the things and we have never ever had to compete for anything I have invited you into my space on my podcast you've invited me into so many different things.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's never been like, I'm scared if I have David here.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to take my audience or I'm scared if I have Donnie here.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: She's going to take my audience.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: And the truth of the matter is, sometimes people do crossover into each other's audiences.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we've never had an argument about it.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: We've never said stay out of each other's lane.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we've ever had the mindset of there's not enough room for both of us.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I appreciate that about you, Dave.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Knowing how you feel, I don't necessarily agree that I'm a better communicator.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think we both are outstanding communicators in different ways, right?
- 5:36[SPEAKER_04]: We're better for sure.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm better.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I know.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: Let me tell you how I know.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I know.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: So in any, we've had a couple different people that I do clips from the podcast.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_04]: Every single cliper.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_04]: Every episode, they take a way more in your collection.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_04]: Are you looking at it?
- 5:58[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes, I do got a request like, hey, George, you think you can find something that I'm going to tell you.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to tell you.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a cool 15 seconds of me saying anything?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think that we are different in our...
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, like, you know, there will be comments on social proof that Dave, you're the best interviewer ever.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's comments on full transparency.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: Donna, you're the best interviewer.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think we are different in our delivery.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what makes us great together.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: But it would be so natural and so understandable if we ever felt like we were competing.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: it would be understandable to everybody else because that's what people in this position do.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Also, it would be understandable if we had like partner beef.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I still to this day now that we're merging our communities, I think that we can teach a class on this, but but our ability to have remained.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: partners for so long without any like Dave has obviously gotten on my nerves and I don't know.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I've gotten on his nose.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: We have obviously like gotten on each other's nerves, but nothing that
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing that we've ever argued about.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: We've had a conversation about a disagreement.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: I can remember one time, I don't remember what it was about, but we had like one serious conversation, I can remember, I can just remember seeing your concern.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: And me saying, no, Dave, I got a stand on this, but I don't remember what it was about.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: But our ability to stay in partnerships.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: Many of you know, but David and I have been partnering on projects since 2015 right and then we established a formal partnership in 2020 But we've been partnering on things like oh wow you do this.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: Oh fantastic.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: I do this thing too, right and and we've been supporting each other since the beginning
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Fun fact is we met in 2015.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: We were introduced in a network marketing opportunity.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: And at that time, like I was that girl.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: I was that girl.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_05]: Huh?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: I was that girl in this company and Dave was kind of introduced to me on a like, oh, you should connect with her, you know, she could help you out, woo, woo, woo, woo.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: And Dave was dressed so carelessly that I thought he needed my help.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_04]: I can't believe you put that picture up.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: He thought he was cool, but I could see.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so then he told me that he had a T-shirt business.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: And in my mind, I'm thinking, oh, yeah, I'll come and support your little T-shirt business, right?
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so I go to the Kiosk a few days later, and I immediately recognized your stuff.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: I had seen it.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh, this is you and me and Dave had
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: an outstanding conversation, I couldn't believe that somebody who was so unfly that day had such a fly T-shirt line.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_04]: Donnie, let's keep the story above board.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't see both of us with the flowers.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: I love, I look, no, no, no, no.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: And no, but it was, you were out of your element.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: If you had come in your sleep as for suckers stuff, you would have been a fly.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he came in this plaid shirt with these burgundy jeans on and these chucks.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: it was business casual she didn't know how to business I was business at the top casual at the bottom I thought that's what that means I have this shirt you know like some shirts don't you're not supposed to put a tie on just because that's a collar doesn't mean it's a tie shirt
- 9:40[SPEAKER_04]: That's one of them situations.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_04]: And then I had jeans, but the shirt was baggy out the jeans and I had a truck style.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_04]: And then I had, I was probably asking you.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you were asking that.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: You're always asking.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: You're probably asking today.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: No, but, and we're just clowning each other.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: But we had, I think I was at that Kiosk for like three hours that day, and immediately,
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: When we both realized that outside of network marketing, we were actually true entrepreneurs.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: At that time, I was like, selling.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like $27 classes, it was called the Awakening series, and I was getting on.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we had Zoom at that time.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was Google Meet.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: I was doing my Google Meet stuff and posting it on YouTube and you were doing your tours and all the things.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: And we decided that we would do this event called the Entrepreneurs Exchange.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we hosted this Entrepreneurs Exchange at the Then Club House.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: charge $25 for it and we've been building in that way ever since.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: And we've just really been on the same page in business and in friendship, but.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: Our friendship was built on the back end of business, right?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's always been that.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: And we were podcasting and creating content before that was even a conversation.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: We get in the studio and in the studio there was this white wall.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: And we just stand in front of that wall.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: And we'd invite some people to come to the studio, um, there was Javon back in the day and just a bunch of people back in the day that we'd invite to just come and sit just like this and they just throw out random questions.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: There was Brandon shot me.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_04]: Brandon was the videographer.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Brandon was the videographer and we just stand in front of the camera.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: with a yellow wall not I mean a yellow light shining on us not meant for content whatsoever and we literally just they'd ask a question if we throw out answers and I don't know that we ever I don't know what what we intended to do with that because we didn't post a lot of that stuff we just got together and did it like we were we were podcasting before I knew what a podcast was in fact when David invited me to join social proof
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, hey, sis, like, I want you to co-host social proof at me.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, oh, they've not got to do stuff that makes money.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't understand the money behind it.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, well, I don't understand the money behind it either.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: But if you just stick with it, like stick with me, we'll figure this out together.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember saying, okay, but real quick, like what even is a podcast?
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even know what a podcast was.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't watch podcasts, if I'm being totally honest, I don't really watch too many podcasts today either.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know what a podcast was.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was confused between, is this a talk show or just like setting up a camp didn't know.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: So it led, you know, our, our,
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: events and our workshops led into tours and led into a podcast which led into more tours and just led into all kinds of things.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so it only makes sense at this point that we merge because it's going to allow us to impact you guys and to build without restriction.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to think about stepping in your lane, which honestly I never have.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's never been a thought and you've probably never thought about stepping in my lane.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: We just do
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: What we do and we're two business owners that I believe operate with integrity.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: We get along well and It's never really about us.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Dave and I are never sitting down like have we had conversations that's like yeah We got to get to this bread of course We've had those conversations, but we have more conversations about like we got to do something big We have to like how can we take this to the next level and we mean
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: for our audience, right?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: Because David and I one thing that we both understand is the more people we help to achieve their goal.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: The quicker we will get to achieving our goal.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: And over the last six years specifically,
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: I can attest to is better together.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_04]: The reason you're here is because I decided to start a podcast, so did I can have engaging conversations with people.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_04]: By the way, this video will be monetized.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'll make money off of it.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_04]: You need to start a podcast too, so you can have engaging conversations
- 14:06[SPEAKER_04]: like this one.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_04]: Okay?
- 14:08[SPEAKER_04]: Which means you need to be a podcast summit 2026 for the price of a cheap date with somebody that you don't even like like that.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_04]: You can learn how to start a podcast, grow your audience, build your business, or use a podcast to build your brand to build your business.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_04]: You know what?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_04]: Check this out.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_06]: The podcast summit has been nothing short of a base.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: And there's no better place to learn how to have a podcast than podcast summit.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_06]: It's more than just like a podcast conference, it's a community of people who actually want to learn and get better at entrepreneurship.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_04]: And we should have did it a long time ago, because once we notice we have a lot of the same audience, right?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_04]: People will go from...
- 14:51[SPEAKER_04]: My community to your community, your community to my community, and to some people that are on the fence that because they really rock with both of us Devon made a decision at all, right because it's not a cohesive thing and people don't want to choose So I'm really excited about what we're building for the community.
- 15:11[UNKNOWN]: I'm
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: even more excited about what we're building together, like it's always really, really fun we could do something with someone that you genuinely love and genuinely rock with and don't have to be forced to be around.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: I mean it's all I'm so excited about this.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't suck to be around you.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: I can think of some collaborations that I've done.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: that instant regret.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Instant regret.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot wait until this is over.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: We delivered, but it was not
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: the fun that I thought it was.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: We've done collaborations with other entities and just like Jesus Christ.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, we do that.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I want to ask this question because someone asked it to me this morning.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_04]: And they said, well, how do you know when to pivot?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_04]: Because essentially we're pivoting.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_04]: The cool thing is we're not doing something different.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_04]: We're just pivoting.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: We're doing the same thing just in a new fresh, more effective way.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: But she has a question and said, when do you know when it's time to pivot?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_04]: Is there some advice we can give for that?
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think there's so many different.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: factors that contribute to knowing when it's time to pivot, right?
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Before we get to this place, before I answer that question, you said, we're not doing anything different.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're just coming together.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I want people to understand that for them, we're not doing anything different.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're just coming together.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I want you guys to understand that this is really a heart mission for us, because for us, we are doing a very different thing.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: We are both breaking up with our brands brands that mean a lot to us, right from from a community perspective We're breaking up with our brands in number two We're having to split what we could have done on our own 50 50.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: This is this is for you Right now we'll we end up benefiting in all the things.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but I want you to understand that that's not first priority That's not first top of mine is how can we be bigger?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: faster, better, more impactful.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been telling day for a couple of years like someone that I really admire is Bob Proctor.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: and he was like my mentor in my mind before he passed from a distance and I told you a few times like I would really like us to build like Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher like it is just they just had this thing figured out and even I watch now in his passing he's been gone like three or four years at this point even in his passing his brand hasn't skipped a beat the email still come out the education and the information still comes out their community still exists and
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to see that happen, like us building legacy that outlives us, and let me tell you also something that you might not even have thought about, this is legacy.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so if I continue to build on my own, and that's not saying that you guys can't build on your own, but when you're building something that's very much attached to a personal brand, very much community driven, very much based on someone's philosophies, right?
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: Our brands essentially go with it, but us come in together like this vision gets to live on and we'll be able to build this in a way that the brand is is inheritable like other Pete like you get this and and and then you continue to build so my family continues to be able to survive and thrive and all the things off of the brand.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: and vice versa.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: So this you guys what you're seeing us do in real time is literally what generational building is all about.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to take you through this process.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is like I've had to kill some ideas before, but this is a really big deal to both of us.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, so one plus one equals like four in the scenario.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for sure.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: For sure.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: So if you think of it like, and I think everybody, I want you to think of who you would connect with it.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_04]: I think you have to have your checklist of like, not negotiables and do's and don'ts things that I need to, but if you can find somebody that has a similar offerings, they do similar things in your city,
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: you have a relationship.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_04]: I think it deserves a conversation of what can we do together?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe initially you're not dropping your thing and they're dropping their thing and creating one thing, but let's come together on something to see if we work well together because the people that become successful
- 19:47[SPEAKER_04]: merge with someone.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_04]: So if we're at an event and I do a pitching stage, there's some people that's going to buy for me period because they really rock with me.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_04]: If Donnie does a pitch from stage, there's some people that's going to buy from Donnie.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to take her off her no matter what because maybe the presentation resonates, right?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_04]: And there are those people are already given.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_04]: So let's say it's five people that are already going to buy what I have.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_04]: Donnie, there's five people.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_04]: If me and Donnie come together, we already have those 10.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_04]: But in the middle, there's some people that would love the element of the collaboration.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't take away from my five or her five, but now we got like 10 more that because they like the thing that's being built, we can convert that to.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_04]: So that's why I was actually talking, because I've been after like talk through this with the community.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_04]: And you know, they've put out like a little survey to figure out, you know, what do you like best things that I nature?
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: And I had to share that I wanted to be clear, I'm not asking for your permission to do this.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_04]: What I'm doing is I'm looking for your feedback because this is about you all ultimately, like your experience, we want your experience to be good, but,
- 21:09[SPEAKER_04]: We're not, I'm not saying can I do this or are you okay with this?
- 21:13[SPEAKER_04]: Because you came into this community, because you thought that I had your best interest at heart.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_04]: But I think a lot of people are in that space, don't you?
- 21:24[UNKNOWN]: Uh-huh.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_04]: They don't wanna make a pivot or make a move because of what the people in their current circle are looking for.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I might have a partnership or let's just say I'm here with Kay and our money and I'm thinking, man, we should, we should get a different studio on another side of town.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_04]: Kay might say, I don't like that side of town, I don't wanna go.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_04]: Our money might say on a set up, it just doesn't feel right, I don't wanna go there.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_04]: I have, if I have a vision, I have to be okay with both, okay, in our money leaving.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_04]: I have to be okay with it, I have to be okay with it, but I think a lot of people let other people's opinion that people that are currently in their circle stop them from moving ahead when the people that you're really going to impact, you haven't even met them yet.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so when we're talking about pivoting, the very first thing that I would say is, you pivot when your data or your customers or the market suggests that a different path will produce greater results.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: if I do something different, can I get a greater result from it, right?
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: And in this case, if David and I join forces, we believe that we will get a greater result.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: Will there be some people that we miss in the process?
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there will be some people who says, I am not with this community combo, even though I'm not missing out on anything, and nothing is really changing for me as an existing member, I just don't like the change and it's over with, right?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: especially in a situation where you have to increase price that they don't like the change because they don't want to justify paying more money.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that just is the truth of the matter because there's no other logical reason to not be with the change, right?
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Also, a pivot will take place when you just feel like it's time.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you have outgrown a thing and many entrepreneurs
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: in an idea, in a business, in a model because it's where you started, but it's completely different from who you have grown into, right?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's something that you want to consider.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: Is what I'm doing right now aligned with the man or woman that I've become?
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: Is it aligned with the type of CEO or business owner or founder that I desire to be?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: Also, you'll know when to pivot, when your market or your customer,
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: is suggesting that you pivot and they're going to be signs like right now.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: You might offer
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you might offer a course, but what people you'll find really want is a community.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you might offer a community, but what people really want is a course.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you might offer one-on-one coaching, but what people really want is group coaching, because they want the network and the other resources from using other people.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you might offer a service for somebody when they're really looking for is some consulting, some consultation.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: So the market can suggest that it's time for you to pivot to.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: Also demand can suggest that it's time for you to pivot.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: You might be doing something where the demand has lessened, right?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think of something that has happened recently where the demand has just lessened, OK?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, you might offer copyrighting services
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: And to get started with your services, it is maybe a 14-day turnaround before you can get customers or clients onboarded and audit their current email system and then produce some email sequences for them.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, demand is going to be pretty low there right now in the day and age of AI.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you have to pivot from being a copywriter who's writing everything by hand, requiring all this time a 14-day turnaround to a copywriter.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: who is now using AI to power all of your marketing and your email writing, so you can do 24 hour to 48 hour turnaround.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: The market will tell you when it's time to pivot.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Also, there may be a season in which you have to pivot with your audience, right?
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: You may offer the same skill set but to a different customer.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, I help entrepreneur start growing
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: If I wanted to just focus on scaling businesses, but the majority of my audience are beginner entrepreneurs, that means that I probably need to pivot either my offer or my audience.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: Beginner entrepreneurs are not ready to scale.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're not even ready to stabilize for scaling, right?
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: So if I am talking about scale scale scale scale, to the wrong audience is not going to work.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: So then I have to decide, do I pivot the audience and attract a higher level business owner or do I pivot the messaging and say, well, before scaling, let's just start to grow.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start and grow.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a whole bunch of different things.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then sometimes you're pivoting all together, it may not even be in the same industry.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, somebody commented on, I posted this video a couple of days ago, like with the fun fact that I used to be a rapper, right?
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: And someone commented on the video, and she said, you have lived all the lives.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: You've done what haven't you done right and I saw other people make that comment and my friends and people who meet me in real life Be like if you want to know something about an industry as Donnie because chances are she's probably done it Well, my whole life has been pivoting pivoting pivoting pivoting pivoting pivoting and to me That has just been me trying different things until I found the thing that I really like to do
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: long term.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I am a fan of the pivot.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: I am unafraid of switching gears completely.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: If I wanted to stop this and go into trucking and logistics, I do it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: If that's what the season call for at that time and you have to ask yourself.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: Are you staying in a situation right now, a business model, a relationship, a friendship or whatever it is because you are afraid of change?
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_04]: You do have to assess the reason why you're pivoting.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_04]: Loons what you said.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes the pivot solves a problem.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: So a couple of weeks ago, somebody asked, I was talking about like podcasts, something or something.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_04]: And it was like, you know, I was kind of going through like the marketing, you know how we're going on tour and all this kind of stuff doing these monthly workshops.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_04]: And someone said, well, what is your plan for growing this community?
- 28:16[SPEAKER_04]: And I said, I can't effectively market two messages.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: One is podcasts and content creation and other is entrepreneurship.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to let either one of them go, but I don't have an effective marketing strategy for both of them, right?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_04]: A podcast community, we got a webinar and that does what it does, so that's an effect of marketing strategy.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_04]: What I was thinking about this was I wonder if Donnie has the same issue and it's like, you know, do I have time to promote this community on a regular basis?
- 28:53[SPEAKER_04]: And I started thinking, we have a static meeting every single week where we are creating content.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_04]: And at the end, it's a very, very weak pitch.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: All right, you could join my community or you could join Doddy's community.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_04]: Go ahead, one day, you'll be able to join them both, right?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_04]: But this is a strong marketing strategy or plan because every single week, we get to pitch the same thing.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: And as a, let's say,
- 29:21[SPEAKER_04]: We've, and we'll put a tracking link to find out how many people convert from the podcast, but this is a way that we can come together.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_04]: And maybe after we come together, we just shoot ads every week on, you know, how to get it out and we disseminate that way.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_04]: We come together on a webinar, but it is something that we are doing anyway.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_04]: The problem was, do we have the capacity to grow our communities individually?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_04]: But together, it's more seamless, so it seems like a big pivot all you're doing something different.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_04]: No, the pivot solves a problem.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes you have a problem, and you need to pivot.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_04]: But some of us are pivoting out of emotion and has nothing to do with the numbers.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, I just, this isn't working, so I want to do something else.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_04]: And that's not a pivot, this has changed.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: that's a change.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a change.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: I want to talk about capacity for a second.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that Alex Hermosie made a post the other day.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's his season right now.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Right now it's Alex Hermosie's time.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: You hear me?
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I want like you look at people who have had like a hundred
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: million plus dollar day, like with all due respect, put that on his name, he made more than a hundred million dollars in one day.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we look at that, and we say, we want to result like that.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: We want to make a hundred million dollars in one day.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: And it was so genius what he did because not only did he make a hundred million dollars in his acquisition dot com brand, but he also, he also ascended people into his school community, right?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: and offering them like a free trial experience and a discounted rate to join school, which is the community building platform, which if you're a founder of that is your community, right?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so we don't even know what he made on the back end there and it's recurring revenue that it's gonna continue to make.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: we look at people like that and say we want to result like that.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: People even look at us and say they want to result like this.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I looked at what he posted the other day.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: I can't find the post because it's in a video.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: But it's a recent post from the last couple of days where he said he puts out over 450 pieces of content.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: a month.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say it's a week.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: Over 450 pieces of content and this is a mixture of emails, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, all the things.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: Over 450 pieces of content.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: So when I hear even us say, will do we have the capacity to do it?
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, we do.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: I might put out three pieces of content and we could I step that up and and what I love is they're taking content and repurposing things, you know, front back side to side all the all the different things and I'm going to find this video when you're talking to to give you the exact number of content number of pieces of content that he's putting out, but when we think about this like,
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Can we market this?
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we can take clips from the podcast.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: Turn it into an ad.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: We can take the We can take clip from the from the podcast.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: Turn it into a transcription and send it out via email.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're not showing up on every single platform We need to be showing up on every single platform
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then if we don't have the capacity, can we hire people who do have the capacity?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: And that really just is what it is.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: We have the money, we've been holding on to the money.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: And this is actually pretty hilarious to me, because we have been thinking about for at least two years, what do we do with all this money that we have?
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like David and I had to force ourselves at the end of last year.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: to actually pay ourselves for the very first time.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: From our joint business, we've never taken an owner's salary.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: The money just continued to accumulate, we've invested in some things here and invested in some things there, but we've never taken a salary.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we've been wondering, what do we do?
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why it didn't come naturally about what we do is because it was this.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: for sure.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_04]: It was this 100%.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_04]: I think we were too divided in what we were doing on a regular basis, but now that we have this one thing, it just makes sense.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_04]: And now we're thinking, okay, well, we can do the webinars, we can do challenges, we could do, we could run ads from the money that we already have, and when both of our brains are on a thing, oh my gosh, it becomes so much easier.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: we are doing as entrepreneurs are so tough because you're the only person you have to think through it.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: If you have another partner that can help you think that's more valuable than anything.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_04]: My gosh, because I mean in what company is not that I don't have a team you don't have a team, but if
- 34:10[SPEAKER_04]: If our team's ideas and your team's ideas come together as one team, there's nothing we can do.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing we can't do.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: But the problem is we are so comfortable in doing what we've always done.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_04]: We can't do anything else.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I just found the post from Alex from Ozeem.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like this if you guys are ever gonna go take a look at it.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's a swipe through file and it says he pumps out 450 pieces of content a week.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so what he was saying in this particular piece of advice, so he's speaking, it looks like at a Mastermind or a conference for his community school, and someone was asking about running ads, and He was saying, you know, who here runs ads all the things, but he was saying that he believes that the future of media
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: between paid marketing and organic marketing has completely merged.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm so thankful that I have this document because I've been telling my clients and my community this for years.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: Your paid marketing is only going to emphasize what your organic marketing does.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: If you are relying just on ads in this season to build anything, just like if we were only relying on ads to sell podcasts, summit tickets or to build this new community,
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't, maybe maybe we get some sales, but it would not be maximized.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why people like Alex Hermosie are Alex Hermosie with Alex Hermosie level results, because he understands this paid marketing and organic marketing have merged.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's been that way for at least the last two years.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: You used to be able to hide behind ads.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that anymore.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: People are clicking on the page and they want to see
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: that you are in authority in that space, they want to see that you're consistent because consistency equates to trust and like and all the things for them.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so people saying that he's saying his pay team like we used to have and people still do have.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: a separate paid at steam and an organic content team, right?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: Just like we're hiring a paid marketing team and then we have other people who help us with content in-house.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: Those teams are now one.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's saying in this post, my paid team and my media team are now one because all of this content has to convert.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: They're taking, he said we pump out 450 pieces of content a week.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: and the algorithm gets to tell you what pieces of content where are the best.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: He was saying, maybe a year ago, we were still adding CTAs called to actions on the end of each piece of content.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: They don't even do that anymore.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like the content, whether it's paid or organic, it all has to align it, all has to work the same way.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so then he's suggesting, and these are things, and this is not new information.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: These are things that we've known, right?
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's saying that look at the content that you have that gives you the most follows or saves and try running those as your ads.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've been telling my clients this for years, my community this for years, which is why this has to be the same.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go back to my point when Dave mentioned capacity.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: when I look at the people who's results we want, because could you agree that you want $100 million a day?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: 100%, a hundred percent.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well, would you say that we're doing her mostly level work?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not even close.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: Not even close.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: But when we look at it from this perspective, where instead of looking at things, looking at business growth singularly, we look at it from the perspective of how can this all work together, is it possible for us to grow?
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: to the point where we're putting out 450 pieces of content?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think the question is, are we pivoting, vuffing or a thing, and a thing says we're still doing the same thing we're doing, but there's an element that can change.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_04]: What do we have to do to turn the corner to more content?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_04]: So we come here and we record on Wednesdays, right?
- 38:09[SPEAKER_04]: We may not have to pivot and change our whole lives, but maybe our structure says, we recorded this hour after that, it's content.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: And after that, we do something else and then we're done.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: We're just pivoting a portion of our day to grow the thing that we're doing already.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_04]: And again, that's why I get so frustrated because real estate didn't work out and you realize, oh, you know what, I'm gonna start fixing credit.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_04]: or you know what I'm going to start you know me like something else instead of like let's figure out a way to accomplish this we don't have to do something different to do what Alex has done.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: No and like if you look at their strategy behind all of this you're at a school conference right now or homozy is at a school conference right now but he is making sure to say things that still turn into content for him.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_04]: somebody just said something real quick.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so sorry, not thought they were so fire.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_04]: Chikkiya said this would kind of fix Donnie's meta-ad issue.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_04]: This is thinking like a true pivot or something wrong.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_04]: So we know Donnie can't run ads because of whatever you've been hacked a million times.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_04]: Good love for some Donnie.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_04]: From a strategic level, one of the reasons why she's deciding to say, yo, you know what?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_04]: Let's merge.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_04]: is exactly what Shakira said.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I can't run ads.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_04]: But maybe I can connect with someone who can run ads that will help grow the thing through ads.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_04]: That was, I'm sorry, I wonder.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_04]: That was just, that was genius.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_04]: And that was perfect, along what we're saying.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that is the truth of the matter.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: I could either keep inching at this thing, which is what I've done.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: I've literally used full transparency podcast and social proof podcast to build the community, right?
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I could keep inching away and doing it that way, or I could say, you know what?
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: One of the pros to partner with David is having
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: access to run ads, and that really is, and I think I mentioned that to you last week.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh my god, I'll finally be able to run some ads, like, it's exciting.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so yes, and then like, there's not consistent ads for either community right now, right?
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: But having now a partnership where we're staying on top of it, I have a client, well, I have clients in the same business that our husband and wife.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: They're not on every act together.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: They're not, so when we're talking about how we're doing content and how we're putting together content, we don't always have to be in the same thing.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: I could literally just be at home and have a thought that's relevant for content for our community.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm posting, and you could literally just have a thought that's relevant for content for our community, or they can take a clip from something that you and I have done individually, and use it.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, we want to show up together in a lot of the things,
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: Um, for, from these clients, the heart's all shout out the clean of business university.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: For some reason, um, they love Janilka, the wife's content like her ads convert at the highest level, right?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so we pay attention to that.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: We lean into that.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not necessary that they're always in the same place at the same time to produce content.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: I actually want to challenge us for 50 might be a lot in our first 30 days.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to give, I want us to issue a challenge.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why, but I work so well in challenges.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I would like for us to drop 225 pieces of content in the next 30 days.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: 200, the tweet.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm so sorry.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sorry.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: When do you get back in town?
- 41:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm only going to be going now two and a half days.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're in the month of March.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: Do we have a photo shoot on Monday?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: We do.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's Monday.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: So then you're gone.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: That Tuesday Wednesday?
- 42:02[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going Wednesday.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: You're going Wednesday.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_04]: Evening afternoon.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_04]: Then come back Friday.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Then come back Friday.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: So can we create content on Tuesday?
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: You come back on Friday?
- 42:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it'll be night.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_04]: Right now, after this, we got hours blocked off.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: We have a couple hours blocked off.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we're gonna create some content now.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: We can even create some content by Zoom while you're gone.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: We can create, okay, so what I would like to see us do is the week of the 20 second, the week of the 20 second, and that's only because you have travel coming up.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: which Wednesday, the 25th?
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: 25th here.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: So the week of the 22nd, I just feel like that's way too much time.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we need pressure.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's actually perfect because then our community drops that following week to our community.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so we'll be dropping, okay.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: So the week of the 22nd, 225 pieces of content.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_04]: The week of the 22nd, 220 in seven days.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_04]: in seven days.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: In seven days.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_04]: Some together, some individually, two is 25.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, but as much together as possible.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but that, yeah, that's not.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_04]: So let's run some math, okay?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: So we got 250 pieces.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: Two, 25, and I just picked that number because it's half of... Let's go to 50, we go on.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to 50.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_04]: 250 divided by seven.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_04]: 35 pieces a day.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_04]: If we're gonna do it per day.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_04]: If I'm gonna do it while I'm out, you'll do it while you out, whatever it is, like 17 each, that could be a lot.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_04]: Now one day, let's say at it is 250, can we create 50 pieces of content?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: In one day?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: In one day.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: We can.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: We can.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_04]: So, we can.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_04]: I think the question is, how does he do this?
- 44:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm starting to think about it.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_04]: That's a lot.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's a lot of content, but even with our marketing team that we'll be working with, they're testing 50 new creatives at a time.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: So that means that we're constantly cycle and content.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: Also though, all the content, if you look at this page, it isn't, it's not all video content, right?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: Some of it is going to be static content, meaning just posts that you create words and all the things.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: So we have an opportunity to start pulling those kind of things and creating that, having it batched, right?
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, so there's that, then he and Leyla, I don't know if they're, I don't know if they're including Leyla or Mozi's content, his wife because they are business partners as a piece of content.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_04]: And maybe he's counting one piece going on five different platforms as five pieces of content.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, maybe, because each platform is separate, like not all the audiences are on all these platforms.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a possibility too.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: So then we got to decide what platforms we're showing up on.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: And how many platforms we're showing up on, what content we're producing, and then I also know what I love about Layla and Alex's.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: content is that they don't just stay in the business space, right?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: They are also like, if you see them on podcast, they're literally talking about their relationship more than they're talking about anything else.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're talking about how they work so well together as partners and you know what it means to be married in business to them and all the things.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: So we can literally be talking about like our relationship is business partners and how like this conversation that we just had We could literally break this up and we've got five different pieces of content from this conversation alone.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: True.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean each episode we can probably pull 10 each episode we can probably pull 10 now the social proof podcast content count or is that cheating?
- 46:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is a cent.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_04]: This is essentially
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: the lead magnet to people being a part of our community anyway.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is a lead magnet to people being a part of our community.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now here's the thing.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: We have your page, we have my page, we have a morning meet up page, we have an actionable CEO page, we have a social proof page, we have a full transparency page.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's all on Instagram.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Then I'm not active on TikTok.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: But for 250 pieces of content, I'll get active on to it.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're sure.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: And it's really just taking the same thing and putting on that platform.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure, I'm going to ask, I'm going to find out if this is 450 different pieces of content.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: Looking at his Instagram page, I don't think so.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're considering different platforms, a different piece of content, but also there's a strategy to that because you can't really just
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: Rob and Duplicate, like the exact same format on every single platform.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, maybe it's because you could take a, like this.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_04]: This episode is on YouTube, a short out of the episode goes on shorts.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_04]: Same platform to different pieces of content, but it's the same content coming from the longer form.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_04]: So there might be a three minute video that's made, but out of the three minute one is condensed with a reaction or maybe that's my only team to our reaction to it or something like that.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know, I don't know how he's doing it, but I would imagine, I can find out.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_04]: The 450, I would imagine it's multiple stuff going on multiple platforms.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_04]: I would imagine.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can and maybe threads, you sit on threads, you can bang out a 10 piece real quick for sure we can go back to back come on back to back so what do we say the math worked out to if we need 250 pieces of content and one week that's 35 a day is that what that is yeah, 35 pieces of content and one day consistently for seven days though.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: So we got two weeks to create this content.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's going to be faster for us to create the content than to try to go through all stuff that we've done.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would take hours to try to go through old videos and find pieces.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_04]: You want to know the major benefit of this?
- 48:29[SPEAKER_04]: The muscle that is.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_04]: You get the feeling more.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah!
- 48:33[SPEAKER_04]: But the muscle that we build through being able to get what we have to say said quickly.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_04]: What we're, yo, if we go in there and we are working on creating content, what I'm so impressed with people like Kevin on stage, Kevin on stage, post all day.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: All day.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_04]: But he post all day because he's been posting all day.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: So he might see something that he likes.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, cool, boom, I'm gonna do the grades great.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna talk about it, bang.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: That's a muscle that has to be created.
- 49:04[UNKNOWN]: Uh-huh.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_04]: I look at some, so right now I'm trying to, I got a react to, um, Jessel Ares's video of her saying that Netflix, them going to Netflix has killed their engagement with their YouTube audience.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_04]: So I have to react today.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_04]: but I don't have the muscle that kept on stage as to say, boom, this is it, this is my idea.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_04]: I got to think through it.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_04]: I got to come up with some real answers.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_04]: Then I got to do like, he has a different muscle.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_04]: So us going in to create this much volume of content.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_04]: What happens after this 250 challenge?
- 49:37[SPEAKER_04]: We are already in it.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: We're in it.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we're going to be so good at this one.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be so freaking good at it.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I'm right in the sound because you know if I don't write it down.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's not real.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_04]: For sure You know being on like actual CEO or the morning meet-up We have to speak on a regular basis every single week.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_04]: We got to come up with a message Have something to say be interacted with the crowd and when people see us on stage and I oh my gosh How are you doing this one state we got a muscle?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_04]: You know?
- 50:08[SPEAKER_04]: What do you want me to speak with?
- 50:09[SPEAKER_04]: I got a book for this gig since September, since September.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_04]: And it was like, you need to time to prepare what you talk about, for let me know when you know what you would have talked about.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: What do you want me to talk about?
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, I just did a speaking engagement a couple of days ago.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: And someone said, I think it was my mom, who said, well, are you prepared?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: I come on, mom.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like when you, and it depends, like sometimes people will book me and say, can you come and talk about something for women's empowerment?
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody, sometimes people will say, can you come and talk about scaling a business?
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then sometimes people will just book and say, Donnie, I would just like you to come and speak.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what I do, Dave?
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: I go.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: about 30 minutes early to fill the energy in the room.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's important.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I go and fill the energy in the room and I am able to see what people need in that moment.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: All I need to know is who's in the room?
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to get up there and I'm going to go off the top of my head and people think that this is
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: such a skill set and it is people are like, oh my God, how do you just get up there and off the top of your head, move around like this?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: I've been doing this for years and I have worked my speaker muscles, like I speak in my community, I speak on webinars, I speak on the podcast where we have to answer questions so quickly, right?
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I am able to see in the audience as I'm speaking, what people are responding to.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I lean into that a little bit more.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm able to see what people are not responding to.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I pull back.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: off of that.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: Every single year at Podcast Summit, when we have to present a particular topic, we're prepared.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: But all those moments in and out of stage like open in the show, closing in the show, doing the motivational moment, we have no idea what we're getting up there to say before we say it, but I can fill a 30 minute spot because I sit on the full transparency podcast and talk for an hour to myself.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_04]: We both got formulas, loads of formulas.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_04]: I know if you look at the notes and I can imagine in both of our phones, we have formulas and frameworks that we've been teaching for years.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_04]: But I think that the challenge for some people is they speak when it's time to speak, or they perform only when it's time to perform.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_04]: It's like only playing ball when it's game time.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_04]: No practice, no like you're in the gym here.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever muscle Alex has to be able to create that type of content in our mind when we're looking at like For fifty nine.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_04]: It's not before fifty two fifty whoa.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot if we go in there and say Yo, I was gonna you create three fifty.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_04]: You're like all right.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_04]: Come on.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_04]: He's done it So I'm excited about this process period.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: So in action we'll see you right now.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_01]: We have
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: a millionaire morning call.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a motivation call that we close out in prayer, but there's a motivational lesson to the entrepreneur.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: And in the new community, guess what you guys are gonna get?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: The millionaire morning call.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: But the subject that I talked about just a couple of days was preparedness.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: And how your unpreparedness is holding you back from opportunity.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can't wait until you're ready to scale to put systems in place.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: You got to get these systems in place,
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: and test your infrastructure out before scale.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you see these brands who are going under and going out of business because they attempt to scale faster than their systems can perform, right?
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: You don't wait until your book for the speaking engagement to start thinking about what your speaking engagement is.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: You don't wait for somebody to ask you what you do to be clear on the messaging around what you do.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: These are things that you should be practicing all the time anyway.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: and David and I are only as good as we are because we're prepared.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: You could literally hit me right now and say, oh my god, Donnie, my keynote speaker canceled an event.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_01]: Can you be here in three at three o'clock?
- 53:58[SPEAKER_01]: And as long as the time is available on my calendar, yes, it's 12, 20 right now.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: I can be there at three o'clock and deliver.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Because this is what I do, right, and so if you are this is the reason that we're not afraid of this pivot Pivoting is what we do.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, what we do You say oh my gosh, you just said it so in our mind is like y'all we're just doing But in the mind of somebody else and like oh, I don't know if I could go yeah We've been here before we've been here before and it and it works and
- 54:33[SPEAKER_01]: And it worked and it worked faster and bigger than we ever thought it would.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we got global brands.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: There's people in our, like, I wanted to serve people in my little city.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: Entrepreneurs exchange invited people who lived right here in Atlanta.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: If you are in the Shambli area come through.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: We have people who fly in now, just for moments like that.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: We have people who come from all over the world, just for moments like that.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: We have people from all over the globe in our communities.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I ever even thought when I first thought about being an entrepreneur that I would be a globe, like have global impact.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like I posted a week or so ago that I,
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: gift it my mom a trip to Africa.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean Africa, not just the part of Africa, right?
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: I got two messages from people who says, hey, can we host a conference while you're here?
- 55:31[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_04]: Come on.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: South Africa.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Show up.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, can you show up?
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: And that is what we do.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: We practice, we're prepared.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_04]: We're not about to speed over that bro.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_04]: What you mean?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's fire.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: So fire.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, and as soon as I get my itinerary together, I'll be posting where I'll be because why not Africa.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: If I were to travel to Baltimore, I'd be letting people know, hey, I want to meet up with you guys in Baltimore.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: Why not Tanzania?
- 56:06[SPEAKER_04]: Come on.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why not Zanzabar?
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Donnie Wiggins.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_04]: Go check it out and then we'll go back.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: up the gates for you.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: Open up the gates and so you guys pivoting is what we do.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is what we've been doing since the beginning of like out on the clothing store you aren't you on the clothing brand.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: I remember that I was making custom dresses for celebrities and I didn't know how to sew.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: I had hires, oh, you guys want custom dresses?
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, how do you know how to pivot when people keep asking for the same thing?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm on this TV show, hey, I'm performing here, and I want something, but it needs to be different.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting enough demand for custom apparel.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: Let me go find me a seamstress real quick.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: I can think of an idea.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: I know what looks fly, and I used to go to stores like,
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Sachs and there was this other dress store that's close now for get the name of it and I'd be like I like the top of this with the bottom of that that literally how I was creating custom designs I would take a picture and say I like a top like this from this dress and a bottom like this from this dress can we take this put it together and make it our own and now I'm selling custom pieces the pivot right then online sales came.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: and shut down brick and mortar boutiques in that season.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: So now I have to pivot again.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: What am I going to do now?
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm going heavy into my network marketing career, a completely different transition.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: And we sit there for a couple of years.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now I see that people are asking me like up, because they don't people who don't understand network marketing think that I was running just like my own business, right?
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: So now I get people coming to me and say, hey, Donnie, I love what you're doing in business.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: How can I start a business?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like,
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think network marketing is for you after you told me your story maybe you should try this right and this is just me giving advice away for free And then people started tagging me on Facebook saying I sat with down with Donnie three months ago She told me I should start this kind of business and I did I'm in business now y'all and that started happening more and more well now Here's a pivot.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to now start helping.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: I remember the first day I got a message on Facebook that said I see that you're helping people start businesses how much do you charge how much would you charge to help me?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a pivot happening right now?
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so then I started working with people for $97 a month.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: $97 a month, 101.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: literally just to help them start business ideas.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know anything about legalizing your business.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know anything about systems for your business.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know anything about scaling a business.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm only helping you with an idea.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: What kind of business might you start, right?
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so now as I'm doing that and people are paying me now I got to put a merchant like how can I make this payment stuff easier now I'm learning about merchant services now I'm learning about LLCs and EIS and business addresses and all these things that are required so guess what I pivot it to or grew to then now I now can I not only help you come up with a business idea that I think would be fit for you.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now I can actually help you set up your legal and payment structure as well, and then that starts growing.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: So as my business starts growing and I'm now seeing this as a business every time I grow into another phase or pivot, I'm actually able to help other people and guess what I was able to do, Shans, though saying people who I had served six months to 12 months earlier just to come up with a business idea, I was able to go back to them and say, now I can help you set up some systems.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_04]: Easy.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_04]: I think some of us we need to get brought two points one when we bought that building We were easy.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_04]: It was easy to pivot out of it.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_04]: We had this whole plan all this kind of stuff Then we just pivot out of it so you'll just go get our money.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_04]: But you know the only reason that we didn't do the my first million conference
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: in my head.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: Again, yeah, this past year.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_04]: We just weren't aligned.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_01]: We just were not aligned enough stuff.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_04]: You're doing stuff.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_04]: This year, it makes perfect sense.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_01]: It makes total sense.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody actually asked that in one of our communities on here.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: Are we doing the my first million conference again?
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I was supposed to do it by myself.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I just didn't want to.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't feel right doing that without you.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't feel right.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's sometimes it don't feel right.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel right.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: and then we'll likely be doing some workshops and then we'll likely close the year with a conference, right?
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be, you start here, you go here, you go here, you're ascending through the latter, you're ascending through experiential opportunities with us, we literally just mapped out a structure in real time.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_04]: Oh man, I need y'all to get to work.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_04]: The view of that's listening right now, I need you to get to work.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_04]: I need you to see it, not as just something that you've always done, but what is the fresh new thing that you are about to announce?
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_04]: And it could be the same thing with different Robin paper.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_04]: You can be some sort of different way that you are approaching this.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I hope that everyone starts getting more comfortable with change, because if you never change,
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_04]: It makes it increasingly difficult to change.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_04]: There's some people like in football, right?
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just, there's some people that can't move side to side.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_04]: There's not that agile to move side to side.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_04]: But they might be alignment like, you'll I move forward and back, I protect the QB.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_04]: But it's not that they can't, they just haven't done it.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_04]: They just haven't done it.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_04]: A running back is used to that the work on the agility to be able to move forward, backward, side to side.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_04]: But the only way you get that way.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_04]: as you have to continue to move forward, backwards side to side, and you've got to be okay with it.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_04]: The worst thing that can happen is you are in the same situation that you're in right now, and if you are forever afraid to pivot, for whatever reason, maybe you don't trust yourself, maybe you haven't gotten the approval of other people, maybe it just doesn't feel comfortable because change doesn't feel comfortable for anybody.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm so, I'm such a local jokeer.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_04]: I was having, it's just out of my man, Bill, and I don't know if we talked about this, but I live in Atlanta, business in Atlanta, I love Atlanta.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_04]: When someone says, will you move out of Atlanta?
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, nah, I really like what's going on.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_04]: We got the house, we like, we have, it's called, I know this landscape.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, man, maybe I'll wanna move somewhere, but I just don't see myself doing it.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm at lunch with Bill.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_04]: and Bill just transitioned to a new job moving from Atlanta to San Francisco or what's the Bay Area San Diego San Francisco?
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Bill, who was just here?
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_04]: Not Bill.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_04]: Bill San Francisco, yeah, I think San Francisco or the Bay, San, I don't know, whatever the Bay is.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_04]: But he's moving out there and I'm like, bro, I just can't understand how somebody just drop everything and just move across the car.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, you know, people didn't you say, no?
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_04]: We just go on, we just excited.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, I just, I don't, I don't see it, bro.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I'm cool being where I'm at.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_04]: Long story short, you know what this man says to me?
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_04]: He says, why don't you just go somewhere for like a month and just stay there?
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_04]: I said, what?
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, what do you say here?
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_04]: Just, there's moves somewhere for like a month.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_04]: You don't got to like, uproot everything.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_04]: Just move somewhere for a month.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_04]: See how it is.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_04]: You can get some, you know, some cool podcasts, interviews.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_04]: You can start networking, see the way it'll end.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_04]: So just move to New York.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_04]: That's where the money is at.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like, go to New York for like a month for 30 days.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_04]: I said, what?
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_04]: You could do it.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_04]: And he looked at me crazy like, but I don't travel much.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_04]: When I go travel, I go speak somewhere, I come right back, I don't be outlawed.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_04]: And I never even thought of it.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_04]: I never thought of it.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_04]: But for some other travels, I look at somebody like Maddie Jay.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_04]: He just, you go from Dubai from that long to Ghana, like, show what you're doing this.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_04]: But he does, and he's so comfortable.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_04]: If someone says, y'all, can you come to France for the next six months?
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_04]: He's more willing to do it.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_04]: I'd be terrified only because I haven't done it.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_04]: In that regard, I've never moved side to side.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_04]: I moved front to this is what I do.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_04]: And I think we have to start getting comfortable, or at least recognize that we're uncomfortable, and start doing some stuff.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's time to pivot.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's time to try new things.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's time to try new things.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to think about the way you're living your life right now, the way you're living your life, what you're involved in.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_01]: It is based on your own limited experiences.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the truth.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: You only know what you know.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: So your mission in this season should be trying to find what else is available?
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_01]: What else is available for me to try?
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I...
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: have earned what I've earned because I understood it was available to people like me.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_01]: I realized it wasn't just for people like that.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's available to people like me too.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: I joined masterminds that I joined and communities that I've joined because I realized access to it was available.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_01]: I live my life the way I live my life because it's available.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: I changed zip codes when I was ready to change zip codes because I realized
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was available to me, and some of you are living your life right now based on what you have been conditioned to believe is available to you.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I am here to tell you that so much more is available.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_01]: You have more access than you think you do.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_01]: You have more opportunity than you think you do.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes it's just about getting into different environments, getting into different rooms.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't until I walked into a room full of millionaires that I said, oh.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this is available.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like this isn't just a dream, right?
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't attainable goal.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_01]: It went from being a dream to me to an attainable goal.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I had to get in close proximity with people like that.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't until I was around the industry of real estate that I realized like, oh, wait, I could own some stuff.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_01]: I could own some stuff, right?
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't until I was in a circle of entrepreneurs that I realized I don't have to build a small little business.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: I can actually build a big business.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_01]: How big is big is I feel like building.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so get out of your own head.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_01]: Stop being resistant to change.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: Change is the only way your life grows.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_01]: Change is the only way you have new experiences and change is the only way that you make dreams come true.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, man, we got, we got to go to work.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get to work.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, hopefully y'all.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_01]: like this brainstorming that we just did because we're literally figuring this out in real time.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, David and I never know what to do.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: We just know that we're gonna do it.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: We'll figure it out.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad we pivoted away from the conversation we were gonna have the day, though.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_04]: That was already frustrating.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_01]: You were friends.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_01]: and then you fries, oh, plus me on caffeine.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_04]: I had a daddy ready to fight.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready to get to work, work.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be like, we love y'all.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_04]: We will have a link for you somewhere.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_01]: Somewhere.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_01]: Somewhere.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_01]: New community launches on in a couple of weeks.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:07:43[UNKNOWN]: Bye.
