- 0:00What's going on, my legendary people, my legendary folks, and welcome to the
- 0:04Deconstructing Topic Podcast.
- 0:07And my name is David, and I'm your host of this legendary podcast.
- 0:12What's going on today? So much going on in my life, trying to do a lot.
- 0:16You know, I always tell people, hey, listen, I want to juice up a lot of content,
- 0:22but, you know, I got a regular person who, how can I say, got a regular life,
- 0:26you know? I'm working, you know, as they say, nine to five job,
- 0:29whatever the case might be.
- 0:31But, you know, I got a couple of things, a couple of events,
- 0:34you know, helping out a couple of events.
- 0:35I'm going to be doing a podcast and an upcoming event fundraiser coming up on
- 0:40June 14th. So stay tuned.
- 0:42We're doing it all because you already know this is the Deconstructing Topic Podcast.
- 0:48And in life, sometimes we got to be living life sometimes with no fear.
- 0:52And in this episode, we're going to be talking about model and what's your model.
- 0:57You know what I mean? What's that little thing? You know, I know a lot of people
- 1:01live life with the, you know, tattoos where it says no regrets.
- 1:05I know that some people will say something about we only live once.
- 1:09You know, whatever the case might be, sometimes in a time that we need that
- 1:13little motivation, we kind of live life with this, this model.
- 1:19M-O-T-O. M-O-T-T-O. Let's get it. Hit that subscribe.
- 1:24Make sure you like and share because we are in some pulling the energies so
- 1:29that saving the mind is saving the life. That's for sure.
- 1:34And, you know, I got a couple of models that I live by being that this is my
- 1:3820-year anniversary celebrating car accident.
- 1:41But I could have been not here, but I'm here doing this podcast.
- 1:44You already know. And one of the things is that I always tell people Is that We only live once.
- 1:52But we live twice just to tell that story. And it's one of those things for
- 1:56those people out there who's listening to this beautiful podcast,
- 2:00beautiful, legendary podcast.
- 2:01You guys out there make me feel and the reason why I get up every day and say
- 2:07to myself, hey, I want to help people.
- 2:09I want to, you know, there's something wonderful that's happening.
- 2:13And for those people out there that have been in situations where whether it's
- 2:16a car accident, whether you've been in a situation where sadly,
- 2:21let's say a drive by, you know, hey, Listen, I grew up in a hood.
- 2:24You know, one thing in the hood in certain parts of the Bronx,
- 2:26they wicked out there 30 years ago.
- 2:29Pow, pow, you already know. Somebody's dropping. But sadly, somebody innocent might get hit.
- 2:35So if you've been in that situation or something have happened where you felt
- 2:40like this is it, this is my life, that's it, it's gone, you know,
- 2:46that motto is to basically say, listen, yes, we did. We only lived once.
- 2:50But you know what? We live twice just to tell the story that we only live once
- 2:54And that's one of my mottos that I live by In terms of that situation And lately,
- 2:59there's this wrestler In the WWE by the name of Penta,
- 3:05Who his motto And sometimes our motto is something where again We live by a
- 3:10certain thing But at the end of the day, it becomes a lifestyle And one of his motto is.
- 3:17Cero Miedo Which is that he does the zero And then he does like a three,
- 3:22but then he flips it, becomes an M.
- 3:24So, cero means zero. Miedo means fear.
- 3:28So, it's basically no fear, zero fear.
- 3:31And this gentleman by the name of Penta, who's a wrestler in the WWE, 48 years old.
- 3:38You know, I've been listening to some of his interviews.
- 3:41And he's a Mexican wrestler with the mascara, with the mask.
- 3:44So, he has something going on there. And it's interesting. Yeah.
- 3:48Because behind his story is that those people or those restless men who wore
- 3:54that mask before previously, basically something has happened.
- 3:59Either death, almost one almost died in the rain, got hurt.
- 4:04Basically, you can say that the mask is cursed.
- 4:08So Penta basically is living life like, you know what? Yes, people who wear
- 4:15this mask, or at least one that looks like the black and white, beautiful mask.
- 4:21I'll put the pictures in the description, put it hopefully in my thumbnail.
- 4:25And trust me, I'll guarantee that my podcast would hit an audience where I will
- 4:31guarantee I will have Penta in my podcast within a year.
- 4:35Guarantee. I love listening to his story Because his story is one of us One
- 4:41of our story When he's 40 years old now in the big league In the wrestling WWE
- 4:47In the big league, you know what I mean?
- 4:49Where he's been putting word for like over 20 years Whatever the case might
- 4:52be And that lifestyle And that mentality that yes This man's this curse This
- 5:00man's have Whatever has happened, you know what?
- 5:03I'm here to break it and we've been there And sometimes you want to approach
- 5:07life, whatever that decision is, you got to approach it with no fear.
- 5:11F it. You know what I mean?
- 5:13Now, there are those that sometimes, and I remember there was a legendary trainer
- 5:20by the name of Teddy Atlas who trained a young Mike Tyson.
- 5:24Mike Tyson, for those people who know Mike Tyson and for people that don't know Mike Tyson, look it up.
- 5:33Put it all jokes aside. Mike Tyson was this young kid from Brooklyn in Brownsville,
- 5:38I believe, one of the tough.
- 5:40He was adopted by this trainer somewhere upstate, Catskill somewhere.
- 5:45And this young kid, 16, 17, 18, 19, you know, he became the young champion.
- 5:53But because Mike Tyson lived in a hood, it's like, what's the worst that's going
- 5:59to happen when you step in a ring? You feel me?
- 6:01You done dodged bullets. You done dodged all this, you know?
- 6:05Maybe Mike Tyson was the original Matrix.
- 6:08But you've done all that in the hood, and then you come here in the ring,
- 6:12and I'm like, shh, come on, man.
- 6:14But Teddy Allen's story was basically that Tyson, in his early part,
- 6:20and this is what happened, listen to this.
- 6:23All he did in life to get better is because of fear.
- 6:27That's why he wanted to become a young champion, so he could get away from the
- 6:30hood or get away from that, you know what I mean, that lifestyle.
- 6:33Because the street would have gotten him. You know what I mean?
- 6:37Just like the streets, the streets could get anybody, you feel me?
- 6:41So Mike Tyson, when it comes to that situation,
- 6:44He lived with that fear, and he just did not want to go back to that struggle
- 6:50that he was struggling growing up. You feel me?
- 6:52So that's one of the things that if you're listening to this podcast,
- 6:56Teddy Ellis said, you see, yes, we can live just like Penta. No fear. Absolutely.
- 7:03We got that model down pack. But sometimes what happens is that, hey, keep this in mind.
- 7:09Teddy Ellis said, the day that Mike Tyson stopped fearing is the day that he
- 7:15lost. And I remember that fight.
- 7:17We lost to Buster Douglas. So in other words, there are situations and there's models and things.
- 7:23And again, and I'm going to focus on the no fear aspect of it.
- 7:27Because sometimes, hey, we got to lose. You know what I'm saying? Let's make it happen.
- 7:32But what drove you to that situation where now you're using that fear?
- 7:37Just say, just be cautious. That's all.
- 7:40And I got like so many of these models that people kind of have in life.
- 7:46And I love wrestling. Wrestling is basically like one line, you know,
- 7:49hey, we got the Roman Reign, acknowledge me.
- 7:54And, you know, for those people out there, it's just like, hey,
- 7:57listen, just don't see it as a catchphrase. See it as a lifestyle.
- 8:02And, you know, I'm involved, you know, wrestling to this little program here
- 8:06because I love wrestling.
- 8:07But I also take that wrestling can actually educate people, to give people that
- 8:12little motivation. I remember back in the 90s as an organization,
- 8:16a wrestling organization, Extreme Championship Wrestling, ECW.
- 8:22Why was the lifestyle there? Do everything extreme.
- 8:27And as you're listening to this, what's that motto?
- 8:31Grab that thing that you're like, oh, man, I like that motto.
- 8:34I like that saying. Ooh, okay.
- 8:37It's the one, ask me how you're doing and I'll tell you a story.
- 8:40You know what I'm saying?
- 8:42Just don't repeat, you know, just don't say, okay, let me repeat this.
- 8:47Live it, you know what I'm saying? You know, one of the things like, for example,
- 8:52let's say, you know, let's say we grabbed that little thing that's going on
- 8:57and, you know, because we live in a time where, once again, if you're listening
- 9:01to my previous podcast, That's basically,
- 9:05you know, one would want to live life like you got to think that there's no
- 9:08such thing as motivation, right?
- 9:10It's discipline. You know, motivation would be that thing. And once you wake
- 9:13up, that's, you should be motivated by then like, hey, you know,
- 9:17But we still need a little pep, and that's why you're listening to my podcast
- 9:21because, you know, we need that guy.
- 9:23We need that person to kind of guide us.
- 9:26You know, guide us here. Hey, Deconstructing Topic Podcast, how we live in life.
- 9:31Hey, and I'm going to do a podcast, and, you know, I'm catching this podcast
- 9:36off the flag, off the dome.
- 9:38You already know. When I say off the dome, it's just on top of my head.
- 9:41No editing, no anything, because
- 9:43I just straight up work better with emotions. That's what's going on.
- 9:48And that's one of the things that I want to do. And the next time I'm going
- 9:51to hit you with those model quotes, whatever it is.
- 9:55And I hope I'm saying it right. Somebody's going to catch me like,
- 9:58hey, what are you saying, a model?
- 10:00What's that? And Cindy Crawford?
- 10:03Come on. You already know what I'm talking about. We're making it happen.
- 10:07So once again, in this little podcast, little nice mini podcast,
- 10:11what we learned, I want you to, once you finish, grab that model.
- 10:15That thing uh that that
- 10:18you know that that little verse whatever it is that that you know
- 10:21makes you kind of like okay but look at it let me know hit the comment you already
- 10:26know tell me what kind of models that you kind of live by and let me know that
- 10:31if there's one that you you know kind of like listen that day listen can I buy
- 10:36all that deconstructing absolutely but just don't,
- 10:41Don't say it and think this is just a catchphrase.
- 10:44Make sure that what you're listening to or what you're reading is a lifestyle.
- 10:48We're making it happen. You already know today's lesson is a good one because
- 10:53in this podcast, Deconstructing Topic Podcast, everything that we do is with
- 10:57Cero Miedo. Let's get it.
- 11:00Shout out to Penta. Let's make it happen.
