- 0:01When they were asked how they develop their most inspired
- 0:05Concepts, or inventions, noted personalities such as Albert
- 0:10Einstein and Nikola Tesla made it clear?
- 0:14That it is not through some laborious process of thought.
- 0:19But through an inspiration, a vision a process of
- 0:23understanding that is outside the normal function of the Mind
- 0:27life body in its limited functionality.
- 0:31Similar reports come from artists composers and
- 0:35Visionaries who have been recognized as the leading light
- 0:40in the development of human progress and culture.
- 0:44It becomes clear that the progress of humanity in all
- 0:48these fields of endeavor comes about through the influence of
- 0:53powers and forces acting beyond the normal human range.
- 0:57But interacting with our human instrumentality, T and providing
- 1:02guidance Direction and specific Focus to the efforts.
- 1:08Even if we look at the development of physical culture
- 1:12such as the peak of gymnastics, the training of the instrument,
- 1:16only takes the gymnastics so far.
- 1:19And at some point there has to be a total Reliance on the
- 1:23working of a force of coordination timing, and action
- 1:28that goes beyond the struggle of physical effort.
- 1:32We see leaders in all Fields, who rely on the ability to
- 1:35motivate and Inspire through a force that goes beyond the
- 1:39normal daily range of our external lives.
- 1:45Yoga psychology describes in detail, the processes involved
- 1:50and the interaction that takes place the chakras, the occult
- 1:55centers of energy or the portals through which various energetic
- 1:59movements can enter into the A human mind, life and body and
- 2:04act upon them. The chakras, however, are very
- 2:08much closed off for most people blocked or only allowing very
- 2:13small energy flow through them. Yogic practices tend to open
- 2:18these centers and allow a more pervasive and Powerful action to
- 2:22take place. In the integral yoga, this
- 2:26involves the opening of the psychic being deep within and
- 2:30the contact with the inner mind, life and body, as well as with
- 2:34the higher mental and spiritual ranges beyond the mind, SRI
- 2:40aurobindo describes this inner working as taking place behind
- 2:45the veil a concept. He uses to illustrate that our
- 2:49fixation on the outer World. Outer life, outer personality
- 2:55represents a very limited understanding of the full
- 2:58significance of Life. Similar to the fact that during
- 3:02daytime, the veil of the outer World hides from us and
- 3:07distracts us from The immensity of the universe's galaxies
- 3:13Stars, solar systems, Etc of which we are a part and the
- 3:19significance of which remains very much hidden from our
- 3:23external lives. When the veil of the solar day
- 3:28is removed at night, we can gaze into the distances and open
- 3:33ourselves to the deeper and wider reality within, which we
- 3:38exist. SRI aurobindo writes, quote, the
- 3:43real self is not anywhere on the surface, but deep within, and
- 3:48above within is the sole supporting an inner mind in her
- 3:53vital in her physical, in which there is a capacity for
- 3:58Universal wideness and with it for the things now, ask for
- 4:03direct contact with the truth of self and things.
- 4:07Taste of a universal Bliss. Liberation from the imprisoned
- 4:12smallness and sufferings of the gross physical body.
- 4:17Even in Europe, the existence of something behind the surface is
- 4:21now very frequently admitted but its nature is mistaken and it is
- 4:27called subcontinent or subliminal while really, it is
- 4:32very conscious and its own way and not subliminal but only
- 4:37behind the veil it is. According to our psychology
- 4:43connected with the small outer personality by certain centers
- 4:46of Of consciousness of which we become aware by yoga.
- 4:52Only a little of the inner being escapes through these centers
- 4:55into the outer life. But that little is the best part
- 4:59of ourselves and responsible for our art, poetry philosophy
- 5:06ideals, religious aspirations efforts at knowledge and
- 5:11perfection. But the inner centers are for
- 5:15the most part closed or asleep. To open them and make them
- 5:20awake. And active is one aim of yoga.
- 5:24As they open the powers and possibilities of the inner being
- 5:29also are aroused in us, we awake first to a larger Consciousness.
- 5:35And then to a cosmic Consciousness, we are no longer
- 5:40little separate personalities with limited lives, but centers
- 5:45of the universal action. And in direct contact with
- 5:49Cosmic forces, Moreover, instead of being unwillingly playthings
- 5:55of the ladder as is the surface person we can become to a
- 6:01certain extent conscious and masters of the play of nature.
- 6:06How far this goes depending on the development of the inner
- 6:10being and its opening upward to the higher spiritual levels.
- 6:16At the same time, the opening of the Heart Center releases, the
- 6:21psychic being which proceeds to make us aware of the divine
- 6:25within us and of the higher truth above us and quote
