- 0:01Speaker 1: And now move the sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 1: What's up, everybody, Welcome to move the sext DJ Bucky Rhett,
- 0:10Speaker 1: we are with you following a Monday Night game that
- 0:13Speaker 1: was interesting, maybe not pretty, but an interesting game, and
- 0:17Speaker 1: I say we don't mess around and we jump right
- 0:18Speaker 1: into it because it's time for Monday Night recap. Bucky,
- 0:22Speaker 1: I will leave you the floor here because there's a
- 0:24Speaker 1: lot of different areas we can go on that wild
- 0:27Speaker 1: game that saw the Denver Broncos go on the road
- 0:29Speaker 1: knock off the Buffalo Bills. Yeah, let's talk about the
- 0:33Speaker 1: elefant Worldlet's talk about the Buffalo Bills in their offense.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Just too many turnovers from an offense that has enough
- 0:38Speaker 1: weapons and fire power to really be explosive, but you're
- 0:41Speaker 1: just seeing too many careless plays, whether it's in an
- 0:43Speaker 1: early game fumble or the interceptions from Josh Allen. This
- 0:47Speaker 1: team is not playing well on offense and it was
- 0:50Speaker 1: really apparent in this Monday Night game. This is a
- 0:52Speaker 1: game where we expected them to move up and down
- 0:55Speaker 1: the field because they playing at home. There's a lot
- 0:57Speaker 1: of stuff on the line, and they just couldn't get it. Together,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and we could talk about whether it was the Hodge
- 1:02Speaker 1: fives of the scheme not necessarily matching the personnel, but overall,
- 1:05Speaker 1: the execution was up par. And because of that man,
- 1:08Speaker 1: they found another loss and they are now really trying
- 1:12Speaker 1: to figure out how they're going to make a postseason
- 1:14Speaker 1: run because the division is out of play.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the fact that they're sitting here at
- 1:19Speaker 2: five and five on the season is it's a bit
- 1:23Speaker 2: of a shock just considering how good they've been over
- 1:26Speaker 2: the course of the last couple of years. Although even
- 1:28Speaker 2: you saw some of the slippage on offense last year too,
- 1:31Speaker 2: right with just some of the turnovers in some of
- 1:33Speaker 2: the ways that they could inflict mistakes on themselves. And
- 1:39Speaker 2: that's kind of where we're at with Josh Allen and
- 1:41Speaker 2: the turnovers. I mean, like we're going back to kind
- 1:43Speaker 2: of rookie year Josh Allen right now, where you know,
- 1:45Speaker 2: he's leading the league in turnovers at this point, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 2: three again last night, and it just feels like kind
- 1:54Speaker 2: of I mean like it's almost like a broken record. DJ,
- 1:56Speaker 2: Like we've been talking about this Bill's offense, and every
- 1:58Speaker 2: time they lose, we're talking about this offense, turning the
- 2:00Speaker 2: football over looking out a sync, like just not having
- 2:03Speaker 2: an identity or a rhythm to the way that they
- 2:05Speaker 2: want to attack defenses. And that's probably why we saw
- 2:08Speaker 2: the change in coordinator today with Sean McDermott firing Ken
- 2:12Speaker 2: Dorsey and promoting Joe Brady to the offensive coordinator. So
- 2:16Speaker 2: maybe that helps get things back on track, because it
- 2:19Speaker 2: felt like a ship that had certainly kind of lost
- 2:21Speaker 2: its bearings out of the open sea here in the afcasteach.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yeah, there's there's a lot you guys just hit on.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I want to touch on it, and I'm going to
- 2:29Speaker 1: get to Josh just one second, and you know, Joe
- 2:31Speaker 1: Brady taking over this offense and what does this mean
- 2:33Speaker 1: going forward? But I want to start the conversation with this.
- 2:37Speaker 1: As bad as that was offensively, the turnovers, all of it,
- 2:41Speaker 1: they had the drive when they needed it. They had
- 2:44Speaker 1: a chance for this defense to end the football game.
- 2:47Speaker 3: They didn't. They get the penalty, they set up the
- 2:50Speaker 3: field goal.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And even that being said, okay, so the offense's failures,
- 2:53Speaker 1: you guys touched on. The defense has to get a
- 2:55Speaker 1: stop you win the game. The defense failed, they don't
- 2:58Speaker 1: get a stop and then you go to the side line,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and the sideline failed this team. They're twelve guys on
- 3:03Speaker 1: the field on a kick that misses and they walk out.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Of there with a win. But somebody was asleep at
- 3:08Speaker 3: the wheel.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Now, whoever that responsibility falls on it, it ultimately it
- 3:12Speaker 1: comes to the head coach's responsibility. So you can be mad,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you can fire coordinators, you can talk about the turnovers.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Everybody has had a hand and the somewhat demise if one.
- 3:21Speaker 1: There's that word of the Buffalo Bills this year, so
- 3:24Speaker 1: there's a lot of blame to go around.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Josh Allen specifically, I went back and pulled up all
- 3:29Speaker 1: of his interceptions, So you go through these twelve picks.
- 3:32Speaker 1: This is what I saw. There's six of them where
- 3:35Speaker 1: he's forcing deep balls, like they're aggressively, trying to force
- 3:39Speaker 1: the ball down the field, trying to do too much,
- 3:41Speaker 1: as we always say buck on the show, you know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: trying to eat the sandwich in one bite, like that's
- 3:45Speaker 1: too much. He's late on two of them. Three of
- 3:48Speaker 1: them are tips, which I'll take off of his plate,
- 3:51Speaker 1: right you get those are kind of fluky, including one
- 3:53Speaker 1: last night. Yeah, I went right through Gabe Davis's hands,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and then he had one against I believe was the
- 3:59Speaker 1: Jets where I just know how to classify it. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: just classified it as a scramble hero throw where he's
- 4:03Speaker 1: just you know, he's trying to make some incredible, incredible
- 4:06Speaker 1: play that results in a turnover. But the issue, the
- 4:09Speaker 1: big issue is the six forced deep balls and buck
- 4:12Speaker 1: When this offense was humming, when they really got rolling
- 4:16Speaker 1: and got into a rhythm with Brian Dabole, one of
- 4:19Speaker 1: the things that stood out was, Man, this looks like
- 4:20Speaker 1: a different Josh Allen because at Wyoming everything was deep,
- 4:23Speaker 1: everything was vertical, and then all of a sudden they're
- 4:26Speaker 1: spreading you out and it was catch rock and throw
- 4:28Speaker 1: and he's getting the ball out of his hands and
- 4:29Speaker 1: then they're mixing in the quarterback run with that. It
- 4:32Speaker 1: wasn't as vertical. I think this offense has almost gotten
- 4:35Speaker 1: too vertical. And when you look at the receivers that
- 4:37Speaker 1: they have, like who's the true vertical receiver, Like Gabe
- 4:41Speaker 1: Davis really isn't that guy Stefan Diggs is underneath inner beeks.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You know, he's one of the best in the league.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They don't they don't have that guy. So you're trying
- 4:49Speaker 1: to play a style you don't have the people to
- 4:51Speaker 1: do that, and I'm not so sure that's the best
- 4:53Speaker 1: way for Josh.
- 4:53Speaker 3: To play anyways.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Now, there's a couple of different things where we talk
- 4:57Speaker 4: about the style of play in the personnel match. If
- 5:00Speaker 4: you want to push the ball down the field, then
- 5:01Speaker 4: you got to be a dominant running attack. Because if
- 5:03Speaker 4: you're going to be a dominant run attack, then you
- 5:05Speaker 4: can get one on one on the outside, a man boxes,
- 5:07Speaker 4: you take your shots on isolation routes.
- 5:09Speaker 3: If you're going to be a team that wants.
- 5:11Speaker 4: To spread it out and be in the shotgun, then
- 5:13Speaker 4: it has to be a little more of the horizontal
- 5:15Speaker 4: collegiate type scheme that we've seen screens, rfos, quick passes,
- 5:20Speaker 4: balls designed to get out of the quarterback's hands and
- 5:22Speaker 4: into the hands of the playmakers on the perimeter. That's
- 5:25Speaker 4: how this team was built and that's how they played
- 5:28Speaker 4: at their best when Brian dave Baut was the offensive coordinator.
- 5:31Speaker 4: The thing that Joe Brady has to do is he
- 5:33Speaker 4: has to sit back and evaluate what was really going
- 5:36Speaker 4: well for this offense and how can he put together
- 5:39Speaker 4: I don't know, a little stack of plays that works
- 5:42Speaker 4: for this team and the personnel that's on the perimeter
- 5:45Speaker 4: while also actenuating what Josh Allen does. Well, I don't
- 5:49Speaker 4: know if he can fix it all in a couple
- 5:50Speaker 4: of weeks. But look, there's seven games left for the
- 5:52Speaker 4: Buffalo Bills. They're going to have to win five or
- 5:55Speaker 4: six of them to get into the postseason. So he
- 5:58Speaker 4: is going to have to get this up and going
- 6:00Speaker 4: right away.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Well, look, it'll be interesting to see, you know, what
- 6:03Speaker 2: happens here with Joe Brady now jumping in as they
- 6:06Speaker 2: push this thing forward here and try to get themselves
- 6:08Speaker 2: back into the playoff race. You know, I think the
- 6:12Speaker 2: the experiment in Carolina with Joe Brady didn't work very well. Obviously,
- 6:17Speaker 2: you could you can make some, you know, an argument
- 6:19Speaker 2: that they didn't have, you know, all the pieces necessary
- 6:22Speaker 2: to make at work. I mean, like, think of the
- 6:23Speaker 2: pieces he had when he was at LSU in that
- 6:25Speaker 2: record breaking year, right, obviously, the best quarterback in college
- 6:28Speaker 2: football and three of the best receivers in college football
- 6:31Speaker 2: with Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase and then Terrace Marshall, and
- 6:35Speaker 2: you know it just they were kind of lacking a
- 6:38Speaker 2: rhythm and identity in Carolina where they were kind of
- 6:41Speaker 2: turning things over week to week and it didn't didn't
- 6:44Speaker 2: end up working out. So you know, Joe's been there
- 6:46Speaker 2: now the last couple of years. He's been able to
- 6:48Speaker 2: see it, see what's gone well with Josh Allen and
- 6:52Speaker 2: what hasn't necessarily worked with Josh Allen. So maybe he
- 6:55Speaker 2: can use some of that experience here to try to
- 6:58Speaker 2: find the best course forward for the offense, to try
- 7:00Speaker 2: to maybe take it down from that vertical attack here
- 7:04Speaker 2: a little bit and try to find some of those
- 7:05Speaker 2: intermediate windows.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now, I think about Joe Burrow under him at LSU
- 7:09Speaker 1: empty right, that was the big thing about getting five
- 7:11Speaker 1: out at all times, Joe Burrow thinking quick, getting the
- 7:13Speaker 1: ball out of his hand with those weapons. Now, and
- 7:15Speaker 1: we'll see what this offense looks like. You mentioned the
- 7:17Speaker 1: Carolina experiment. He didn't have Josh Allen Carolina, so major
- 7:21Speaker 1: you see more of that LSU style of how he
- 7:24Speaker 1: was able to have that success there. I do want
- 7:26Speaker 1: to flip it over to the side of the Broncos
- 7:28Speaker 1: here and Buck, I'll kick it over to you on
- 7:30Speaker 1: this one, but I give look, we had fun with
- 7:32Speaker 1: Sean Payton earlier in the year they gave up seventy
- 7:35Speaker 1: and it was like, man, you probably shouldn't be talking
- 7:37Speaker 1: about Nathaniel Hackett, even if you know, if we say,
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's not that great, And it was kind of the
- 7:41Speaker 1: elephant in the room. It was obvious, and we gave
- 7:43Speaker 1: him some grief for that. Sean Payton can coach. He's
- 7:47Speaker 1: got Russell Wilson. I always got Russell Wilson playing well.
- 7:50Speaker 1: He's stumbled back upon the formula, which when you look
- 7:53Speaker 1: at it, they ran the ball for a three point
- 7:56Speaker 1: two average, right, so, man, that's not great, but they
- 7:59Speaker 1: ran at thirty eight times. And how many times have
- 8:01Speaker 1: I heard Buck when we've been doing this show for
- 8:04Speaker 1: however long ten plus years, Buck, and you talk about
- 8:06Speaker 1: attempts not yards. Like to me, their commitment to run
- 8:09Speaker 1: the football has set Russell Wilson up to be back
- 8:11Speaker 1: to who he was, which is efficient twenty four of
- 8:14Speaker 1: twenty nine, a couple touchdowns, he's extending plays, he's playing smart.
- 8:19Speaker 1: That's the formula that's always been the formula for Russell Wilson,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and I think he's kind of got back to that
- 8:24Speaker 1: under Sean Payton.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Look, that's a great observation DJ.
- 8:27Speaker 4: It is the formula, and I think Russell had to
- 8:29Speaker 4: kind of relent on the ideal vision of how he
- 8:33Speaker 4: thought he should play versus how he really needs to play.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Thirty eight russell attempts is perfect because then it allows
- 8:38Speaker 4: you to utilize the play action passing in because you
- 8:40Speaker 4: have to respect to run.
- 8:42Speaker 3: That is when Russell's at his best.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Also, keeping him on a pitch count thirty or fewer
- 8:47Speaker 4: passes it kind of the right mix in terms of
- 8:49Speaker 4: where Russell Wilson needs to be. So I don't know
- 8:52Speaker 4: if he can get back to playing at those high
- 8:54Speaker 4: levels that we saw in Seattle, but he certainly can
- 8:56Speaker 4: play winning football for this team utilizing the Blueprindic payting
- 9:00Speaker 4: is laid out for him.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think it's you know, it's been impressive
- 9:04Speaker 2: and it's been quiet the work that they've done over
- 9:06Speaker 2: the course of the last couple of weeks and really
- 9:08Speaker 2: over the course of this season. Obviously, the defense had
- 9:10Speaker 2: some struggles early on, and they weren't you know, obviously
- 9:12Speaker 2: they weren't winning games, so it's hard to paint a
- 9:14Speaker 2: positive picture for anything that they were doing, even even offensively.
- 9:18Speaker 2: But you know, I mean you start looking at the
- 9:21Speaker 2: cultive numbers and Russell Wilson stacking.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Right up there.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Obviously, there were whispers a couple of weeks ago about
- 9:26Speaker 2: you know, Russell's numbers being better than Patrick Mahomes's. Obviously,
- 9:29Speaker 2: this isn't a typical, uh, you know, explosive Chiefs offense
- 9:32Speaker 2: that we've seen, you know, this year as it compares
- 9:35Speaker 2: to years past. But I think what you're seeing now
- 9:37Speaker 2: is a little bit more of what we saw from
- 9:40Speaker 2: the Saints and Drew Brees in those last couple of years.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It was you know, commitment to that run game, you know,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and taking care of the football above all else, and
- 9:50Speaker 2: getting rid of those turnovers and finding ways you know,
- 9:53Speaker 2: to you know, hit some play action and that sort
- 9:55Speaker 2: of thing. And I just I feel like they've kind
- 9:58Speaker 2: of stumbled upon their rhythm. I don't know stumbles right word,
- 10:00Speaker 2: but they've they've definitely discovered a nice rhythm and a
- 10:03Speaker 2: nice identity in the way that they want to work,
- 10:05Speaker 2: kind of the the opposite of what we were talking
- 10:07Speaker 2: about with the Buffalo Bills.
- 10:08Speaker 3: DJ. Yeah, no doubt. They know who they are and
- 10:11Speaker 3: they know, you know, how to get to the winner circle.
- 10:13Speaker 3: They have the path.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Now they have the map, I guess you could say
- 10:17Speaker 1: of how they have to play and how they have
- 10:18Speaker 1: to win.
- 10:18Speaker 3: The defense have been much better as well.
- 10:21Speaker 1: All right, let's change gears here because I want to
- 10:23Speaker 1: talk about the first two picks in the NFL draft
- 10:26Speaker 1: and the ones wildly successful. As he was looking at
- 10:29Speaker 1: him right here in CJ. Stroud. You see the ranks.
- 10:32Speaker 1: He is top five in just about every single category
- 10:34Speaker 1: and turning, including leading in yards per game, touchdown interception ratio.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I mean, these the best in the league among the
- 10:41Speaker 1: thirty three qualified quarterbacks.
- 10:43Speaker 3: So we're going to get to Stroud in a minute.
- 10:45Speaker 1: We'll get to Bryce Young, who has selected one spot
- 10:47Speaker 1: ahead of him, who has not had this good fortune
- 10:50Speaker 1: early on in his career. But I want to start
- 10:52Speaker 1: with Stroud and Buck. I'll tee up on this because
- 10:55Speaker 1: over the years we did the we did the Prototype series.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Remember when we went through scouting, know what you look
- 11:02Speaker 1: for at each position, went position by position, And one
- 11:07Speaker 1: of the things when we talked about quarterbacks I mentioned
- 11:10Speaker 1: I always thought poise, accuracy, and decision making, those are
- 11:12Speaker 1: the big three. And then we added onto that after
- 11:15Speaker 1: that Prototype series playmaking ability, Like can you make a
- 11:19Speaker 1: play when when something's not their off script, off schedule,
- 11:22Speaker 1: can you make a play? And then we added toughness
- 11:25Speaker 1: and slash leadership. We kind of put those two things
- 11:27Speaker 1: together and those show up on the field as well
- 11:29Speaker 1: as off the field three to seven scale which we
- 11:32Speaker 1: had for the teams I worked for. Five is average,
- 11:35Speaker 1: so four below average, three poor, six above above average,
- 11:39Speaker 1: seven excellent. So that three to seven scale stroud what
- 11:42Speaker 1: we've seen those far poise, accuracy, decision making, playmaking, leadership, toughness.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I don't know how you give him anything other than
- 11:49Speaker 1: a seven, As crazy as that sounds. He's an excellent
- 11:52Speaker 1: level at every key metric.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Hey, look, he's been crushing it, and he's been crushing
- 11:57Speaker 4: in a way that many of us didn't expect. You know,
- 12:00Speaker 4: for all of the conversation, the negative conversation that came
- 12:02Speaker 4: with the evaluation about lack of creativity, didn't use liz
- 12:06Speaker 4: as athleticism and mobility until we saw him in the
- 12:09Speaker 4: playoff game against Georgia. He has exceeded everything when it
- 12:13Speaker 4: comes to even being a natural passer from the pocket
- 12:15Speaker 4: DJ his touch, timing and precision, his his accuracy on
- 12:19Speaker 4: these tight window throws, he does it, and the fact
- 12:22Speaker 4: that he's doing it with a cast of unheralded, no
- 12:25Speaker 4: name playmakers on the outside speaks volumes about how.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Good he is. He is better than I think anybody
- 12:31Speaker 3: can imagine.
- 12:32Speaker 4: And I think if we press the Houston Texans personnel
- 12:35Speaker 4: staff and coaching staff, I think they would say that
- 12:38Speaker 4: he's even better than they thought they were getting when
- 12:40Speaker 4: they picked him with a second overall pick.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I mean, look, I think they knew they were getting,
- 12:44Speaker 2: you know, the draft's most pure passer, and we talked
- 12:47Speaker 2: about that, you know, a bunch on path and here
- 12:49Speaker 2: on move the sticks, and I think that's clear. And
- 12:51Speaker 2: they are using his superpowers, which are the accuracy and
- 12:54Speaker 2: the ball of ball placement, you know, from you know,
- 12:57Speaker 2: the line of scrimmage to twenty yards down the field
- 12:59Speaker 2: and right, and he has shown that yearn and you're out.
- 13:02Speaker 2: But they what they've also done, I think is very deliberate.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Bucky.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You may, you know, you may characterize some of these
- 13:08Speaker 2: players as unheralded and under the radar, but what they've
- 13:11Speaker 2: done is they've gone over the top to support C. J.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Stroud.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Just looking at some of the moves right in free
- 13:18Speaker 2: agencies even before they ended up with CJ. They when
- 13:20Speaker 2: got Robert Woods, they got Devin Singletary, a couple of
- 13:23Speaker 2: veteran players to match up with a young group of
- 13:27Speaker 2: promising skill players right that are already there, and Nico
- 13:30Speaker 2: Collins and John Metchi and Damian Pierce at the running
- 13:33Speaker 2: back spot. Then they go and they try to fortify
- 13:35Speaker 2: the depth up front. They already had two really good
- 13:38Speaker 2: players and an elite player and Laramie Tonsil a good
- 13:40Speaker 2: player in Titus Howard that they extended. And then they
- 13:43Speaker 2: went and tried to supplement their depth. I think George
- 13:45Speaker 2: Fan ended up being one of their Petter signings. He
- 13:47Speaker 2: has locked down that right tackle spot. They went and
- 13:50Speaker 2: they drafted Juice Scruggs in the second round to be
- 13:52Speaker 2: their starting center. We haven't even seen him this year
- 13:55Speaker 2: because he got hurt before the season started, but looked
- 13:57Speaker 2: like he was on his way to starting. And by
- 13:59Speaker 2: the way, as you know, another one of our themes
- 14:01Speaker 2: from yesterday, he had a fantastic Shrine Bowl week in
- 14:05Speaker 2: Las Vegas and played really well there. So they ended
- 14:08Speaker 2: up catching his eye there to second round pick. They
- 14:11Speaker 2: got another center later in the draft, but they keep
- 14:14Speaker 2: and then then how about Dalton Schultz in free agency, Like,
- 14:17Speaker 2: look at that model they have surrounded him with, with
- 14:21Speaker 2: high quality targets. They went and drafted Tank Dell, drafted
- 14:23Speaker 2: Xavier Hutchinson. But you know, Noah Brown was an under
- 14:27Speaker 2: the radar signing. But that group of pass catchers Collins, Woods,
- 14:31Speaker 2: Metchi Brown, Dell, Schultz, Like, he's got some real weapons
- 14:35Speaker 2: there and they're protecting. I think they could still go
- 14:38Speaker 2: out and protect them a little bit more this offseason,
- 14:40Speaker 2: but but they put some talent around him.
- 14:43Speaker 3: That's a great point.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And we'll use that point when we get to Bryce
- 14:47Speaker 1: Young here in a moment. But Buck, I want to
- 14:50Speaker 1: tap into your knowledge of CJ going back to when
- 14:53Speaker 1: he was in high school, because I'm going to summarize
- 14:55Speaker 1: it here. I was hoping you'd give you some examples
- 14:57Speaker 1: of this. But when you have young players, a lot
- 14:59Speaker 1: of times you have guys who content with their performance
- 15:01Speaker 1: and they're going to be chess beaters. And look at
- 15:02Speaker 1: what I've done and look at where I am, and
- 15:04Speaker 1: there's others that are growth obsessed like this. From listening
- 15:08Speaker 1: to your stories about him over the years, like he
- 15:10Speaker 1: was this never one that I would use the word content.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Always a growth mindset, always looking to get better.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 4: So the best story that I can give you is
- 15:17Speaker 4: we were all together at Lead eleven. He was on
- 15:19Speaker 4: my team at a Leader eleven. The opening, I had
- 15:22Speaker 4: CJ and also had Bryce Young And one of the
- 15:24Speaker 4: things that we incorporated Leader eleven at the time was chess.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Seth mckowski's a renowned chess master, came on board and
- 15:33Speaker 4: was teaching all these guys how to play chess and
- 15:35Speaker 4: how to kind of do it for mental training. He
- 15:37Speaker 4: had worked with the Seauan Wasson previously, and so they
- 15:40Speaker 4: kind of incorporated that.
- 15:41Speaker 3: CJ.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Stroud became obsessed with the process that went along with
- 15:46Speaker 4: the thinking in terms of being a great chess player,
- 15:49Speaker 4: and over the course of the weekend he was able
- 15:52Speaker 4: to take some of the techniques that Seth was giving him,
- 15:55Speaker 4: not only to apply on the chess board, put he
- 15:57Speaker 4: put it in practice when it came to you playing
- 16:00Speaker 4: the game. And it's seven or seven, so it's not
- 16:02Speaker 4: eleven on eleven real football, but it's still mattered and
- 16:05Speaker 4: some of it is like really simplifying the thought process
- 16:08Speaker 4: in your mind. And Seth has this thing where he
- 16:11Speaker 4: talks about threats and attacks and so on the chess board.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Before you make a move, you should always assess where
- 16:17Speaker 4: you're threaten, but then you want to attack where you're threatened.
- 16:20Speaker 4: So if you think about in football, where's the pressure
- 16:22Speaker 4: coming from? Where I want to throw right behind the
- 16:25Speaker 4: blitz because that's where the vacated area is going to
- 16:27Speaker 4: be in zone, dogs in those things. So if you
- 16:29Speaker 4: can think about turning that what could be a passive
- 16:32Speaker 4: mindset into an aggressive mindset, CJ. Stroud has been able
- 16:36Speaker 4: to do it, and I think you see it each
- 16:37Speaker 4: and every week when he performs in the National Football League.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I love that mentality. And just to add on top
- 16:42Speaker 2: of that here real quickly, just to you know, talking
- 16:44Speaker 2: to folks going back to the draft process, you know,
- 16:46Speaker 2: in that Ohio State program and kind of understanding who
- 16:49Speaker 2: he was as a practice player, I think is really
- 16:51Speaker 2: important too, because you know, that's where the growth comes,
- 16:54Speaker 2: right from week to week and from year to year.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And he was one of those guys that you know
- 16:59Speaker 2: had the mastery right especially after the first year in
- 17:01Speaker 2: Ryan Day's offense, had the mastery of that system so
- 17:04Speaker 2: much so that he would get a little bored like
- 17:07Speaker 2: during practice, like you know, talk to some folks, Like
- 17:09Speaker 2: he had the call come in, you know, in practice,
- 17:12Speaker 2: and he turned around he kind of give what the
- 17:13Speaker 2: side eye to Ryan a like come on this again,
- 17:16Speaker 2: like give me something else, like put something else on
- 17:18Speaker 2: my plate. I'm ready for more. And it's clear that
- 17:22Speaker 2: you know, he has that relationship now and he's getting
- 17:24Speaker 2: he is exercising, you know, his full his full football
- 17:28Speaker 2: IQ with Bobby slowks OC and like it's clear that
- 17:31Speaker 2: they are a terrific pairing right now. And he's given
- 17:34Speaker 2: them all that CJ can handle, and CJ's showing him
- 17:37Speaker 2: that he's ready for more and more and more each
- 17:38Speaker 2: and every week.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt. I mean, look, they they put a
- 17:42Speaker 1: nice group around him. You talk about the protection. You've
- 17:45Speaker 1: got some speed, you've got a friendly target in a
- 17:47Speaker 1: tight end.
- 17:47Speaker 3: They've got a creative play caller.
- 17:49Speaker 1: They put a lot of pieces in place, but man,
- 17:51Speaker 1: the majority of the credit goes to to c J.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Stroud.
- 17:53Speaker 1: The work he's put in and has clearly paid off
- 17:56Speaker 1: and and he's legitimately got a.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Shot to be the MVP as a rookie, which is insane.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I got to go back. I want to say, Jim
- 18:02Speaker 3: Brown was a last time some ricky windy. This is nuts.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Even having this conversation is crazy, which is going to
- 18:08Speaker 1: make this transition difficult because he picked one spot ahead
- 18:11Speaker 1: of him is Bryce Young? And Bryce Young No only
- 18:14Speaker 1: was he taking ahead of him, but the Panthers traded
- 18:16Speaker 1: a great deal including a number one wide receiver in
- 18:18Speaker 1: a future one to go up there and get him.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And you look at the numbers. Look, Rhett, I'll go
- 18:24Speaker 1: to you on this one. Adam Feeling has been a
- 18:27Speaker 1: nice target for him. You see the numbers on here,
- 18:29Speaker 1: seventy nine point two percent when he's going to Adam Feeling.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Everybody else it's fifty seven point three three touchdowns the Feeling,
- 18:35Speaker 1: five touchdowns, seven picks to everybody else. I mean, Adam
- 18:38Speaker 1: Feeling is a nice piece, good player, but man, that
- 18:42Speaker 1: is you know, let's start with what's around Bryce and
- 18:44Speaker 1: then we'll get to Bruce.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah. And I think by talking about what's around him,
- 18:49Speaker 2: you talk about the lack of what's around him, right,
- 18:52Speaker 2: and that's high quality targets and that's that's no disrespect
- 18:55Speaker 2: to what's there now. It's just they need more, you know,
- 18:58Speaker 2: And I think to expect John Nathan Mingo to come
- 19:01Speaker 2: in and be like, you know, a guy and maybe
- 19:04Speaker 2: even the guy at times is probably expecting a little
- 19:07Speaker 2: too much. And you know, especially when you have the
- 19:09Speaker 2: rookie quarterback, to expect that much out of the rookie receiver.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Although you make the argument that the Texans have hit
- 19:15Speaker 2: gold there with with Tank Dell and CJ.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Stroud on that.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Front, but it hasn't worked out that way here for
- 19:20Speaker 2: the Panthers. And so you know, in DJ, I got
- 19:24Speaker 2: a little bit of a plan for him, and maybe
- 19:25Speaker 2: we can get to that after we kind of assess
- 19:27Speaker 2: what we've seen here from Bryce Young. But they don't
- 19:30Speaker 2: have a ton of draft resources to go out and
- 19:33Speaker 2: do and drastically upgrade this offense. But it's got to
- 19:37Speaker 2: be a huge priority. Second, especially with that second, that
- 19:40Speaker 2: third round pick, those high draft resources that they do
- 19:42Speaker 2: have absent of a first rounder this year, they got
- 19:45Speaker 2: to go out and make some noise and free agency.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And you know, when we come back around to this
- 19:50Speaker 2: thing here on how we can solve Bryce, I think
- 19:52Speaker 2: what we'll I've got a comin in that and think
- 19:55Speaker 2: about yeah.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah, one of the things that stands out to me
- 19:58Speaker 4: and DJ we've had this conversation, You've been including this.
- 20:01Speaker 4: I'm a firm believer that we have a young quarterback,
- 20:03Speaker 4: you need to surround him with a veteran wide receiver.
- 20:05Speaker 4: We look at the growth that has happened with a
- 20:07Speaker 4: lot of our young guys, it's been they've been paired
- 20:09Speaker 4: with older receivers. Thinking about Josh Allen, how his game
- 20:13Speaker 4: exploded when Stefan Diggs came over. I mean I can
- 20:15Speaker 4: talk about Trevor Lawrence and Christian Kirk and Evan Ingerman,
- 20:18Speaker 4: on and on and on. For Bryce Young, there's a
- 20:20Speaker 4: comfort level that he has with Adam Thielen because he
- 20:23Speaker 4: could depend on Adam Thielen to be at the spot
- 20:25Speaker 4: that he's count on them to be, and so that
- 20:27Speaker 4: reliability leads to confidence in terms of letting the ball
- 20:31Speaker 4: go and trusting him. They don't have enough of those veterans,
- 20:34Speaker 4: those high end veterans around Bryce Young to really allow
- 20:37Speaker 4: him to grow into the position. And so as we
- 20:40Speaker 4: eventually talk about what they need to do, I think
- 20:43Speaker 4: the number one thing they need to look at is like,
- 20:45Speaker 4: it's great to have young receivers, but young receivers are
- 20:47Speaker 4: also trying to figure out how to play the game.
- 20:49Speaker 4: They need to have some veterans at those playmaking spots
- 20:52Speaker 4: that already know how to play the game so they
- 20:54Speaker 4: can make the game easy for the young quarterback.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to get to that here. I want
- 20:59Speaker 1: to first talk about Bryce and what he can do better. Okay,
- 21:03Speaker 1: when you watch them, things stand out. Pass protection is
- 21:05Speaker 1: not great. Okay, you can get you can freeze it
- 21:08Speaker 1: at the top, they drop. There is very little separation.
- 21:10Speaker 1: They have nothing vertical. They don't have the speed to
- 21:13Speaker 1: get on top. So those things jump out to you.
- 21:16Speaker 1: When he does get the ball in their hands, like
- 21:17Speaker 1: you'll see him throw smokes or bubbles, there's nothing after
- 21:21Speaker 1: the catch, so you don't have any of those things
- 21:23Speaker 1: working in your favor. And because of that, you look
- 21:26Speaker 1: at the defense that they play that they play every week.
- 21:29Speaker 1: They're playing flat footed and they drive on everything. We
- 21:32Speaker 1: use the term half court basketball. That's what he's facing
- 21:34Speaker 1: every week. His average depth of target is six point
- 21:37Speaker 1: seven yards. Guys that have thrown more than one hundred passes,
- 21:40Speaker 1: that's thirty five out of thirty six. Only Tyson Bagett
- 21:42Speaker 1: is throwing the ball shorter, so there's no threat down
- 21:45Speaker 1: the field. Everybody's squatting and driving on everything. That's that's
- 21:48Speaker 1: making his life hard. Now things he can do to help.
- 21:52Speaker 1: At times, I think it's maybe a little bit of
- 21:56Speaker 1: a factor of who he played with and where he's
- 21:58Speaker 1: played with. With superior talent and high school one. In college,
- 22:00Speaker 1: he's waiting for guys to kind of get college open.
- 22:03Speaker 1: There's times where he's staring, I'm like, dude, just just
- 22:05Speaker 1: let it rip. I mean, you've got this much separation
- 22:07Speaker 1: in the NFL that's open. You've got to let that grow.
- 22:09Speaker 1: And he's waiting for guys to really get open, that
- 22:12Speaker 1: college open, which is not going to happen, especially with
- 22:14Speaker 1: this group. So he's got to get better with identifying
- 22:17Speaker 1: NFL open, getting the ball out of his hands. Now
- 22:20Speaker 1: we're going to kind of change and get to what
- 22:22Speaker 1: they can do to kind of help him going forward.
- 22:24Speaker 1: If I was gonna, you know, start, I would say,
- 22:27Speaker 1: you're looking at a veteran. Buck talks about a veteran.
- 22:29Speaker 1: To me, that's the tight end. Get him, get him
- 22:31Speaker 1: a stud veteran tight end. They've got tight ends. They
- 22:35Speaker 1: are okay, there's nobody that moves the needle there.
- 22:37Speaker 3: They need speed.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I don't care if that speed is young speed, veteran speed,
- 22:40Speaker 1: any kind of speed. They need some speed on the outside.
- 22:43Speaker 1: They need to upgrade this offensive line. And Rhett, to me,
- 22:47Speaker 1: when I look at it, you talk about the lack
- 22:48Speaker 1: of resources, this is this is I don't want to say.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You know, people say, oh, you don't throw a good
- 22:53Speaker 1: money after bad, don't get rid of the good players
- 22:55Speaker 1: you do have. I am when you've committed like this
- 22:58Speaker 1: to go up and get Bryce you and you have
- 23:00Speaker 1: no talent around him on offense and you have no
- 23:03Speaker 1: first round pick.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I love some of these defensive pieces, starting with Brian Burns,
- 23:08Speaker 1: but I'm taking phone calls on everybody. Yeah, and I'm
- 23:10Speaker 1: moving my assets from the defense over to the offense.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I'm getting as many picks and players as I can.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Apologies to the defensive coordinator, but we can't even evaluate
- 23:19Speaker 1: this dude right now, so we don't even know what
- 23:21Speaker 1: we have, and we don't have picks, we don't have resources.
- 23:24Speaker 1: So sorry, we're gonna have to take some of these
- 23:27Speaker 1: better defensive players, including one of the best pass rushers
- 23:30Speaker 1: in the NFL and Brian Burns, and you're going to
- 23:32Speaker 1: have to turn that into picks and players to help
- 23:34Speaker 1: this offense. Because if Bryce Young goes down, this whole
- 23:37Speaker 1: ship is going down. So you better figure out a
- 23:39Speaker 1: way to help him out. That's where the off season
- 23:41Speaker 1: is going to take them.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Let's start right there then with Brian Burns, and let's
- 23:45Speaker 2: identify a potential trade option right there. Now here's the
- 23:48Speaker 2: tricky part. I think one of my favorites comes within
- 23:52Speaker 2: the division. You talked about the need for a tight end. Well,
- 23:55Speaker 2: the Atlanta Falcons are bottom third right now in pressure percentage?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Is there a tight end that they have that is
- 24:02Speaker 2: kind of seldom used? But has you know, ridiculous traits
- 24:05Speaker 2: Brian Burns for Kyle Pitts. Maybe there's some draft you know,
- 24:08Speaker 2: some draft capital that has to be involved there some
- 24:11Speaker 2: way on one side. But I'll tell you right now,
- 24:14Speaker 2: you would talk about, you know, a quick way to
- 24:17Speaker 2: upgrade the targets for Bryce Young. Kyle Pitts would certainly
- 24:21Speaker 2: represent that. If you're following the CJ. Stroud model, Look
- 24:24Speaker 2: what Dalton Schultz has done for CJ. Stroud too. Okay,
- 24:27Speaker 2: So they went out and they committed some big time
- 24:28Speaker 2: resources to go out and put Dalton Schultz into play
- 24:32Speaker 2: for CJ and now the Carolina Panthers have the potential
- 24:35Speaker 2: to do that, So they still need a big time
- 24:37Speaker 2: player on the outside, right, So just kind of looking
- 24:39Speaker 2: at twenty twenty four free agents, I think the Panthers
- 24:41Speaker 2: are going to be somewhere around forty million dollars in
- 24:43Speaker 2: cap room. They've got some cash there.
- 24:45Speaker 3: For sure.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You're going to have to overpay for one of these
- 24:48Speaker 2: top wide receivers and that's just the nature of, you know,
- 24:50Speaker 2: doing business in free agency. Look, I don't know that
- 24:54Speaker 2: Michael Pittman is is going to leave Indianapolis. Imagine they're
- 24:57Speaker 2: going to try to keep him. Feels like a steady,
- 24:59Speaker 2: rely able target. I don't know if he solves that
- 25:01Speaker 2: kind of need to get separation and you know, and
- 25:05Speaker 2: find a way to get on top of the defense.
- 25:07Speaker 2: But do you think the Cincinnati Bengal is going to
- 25:08Speaker 2: be able to resign to Higgins? Is that somebody that
- 25:12Speaker 2: you might try to go ahead and wave a bunch
- 25:14Speaker 2: of money at to go and bring over and show
- 25:16Speaker 2: them that he could be a number one wide receiver
- 25:19Speaker 2: When Jamar Chase has been out, feels like a guy
- 25:21Speaker 2: that I would want to go take a look at
- 25:23Speaker 2: there and then maybe a little bit further down the line.
- 25:25Speaker 2: You know, you know, Gabe Davis is going to be
- 25:28Speaker 2: a free agent next year.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Do the Bills?
- 25:31Speaker 2: You know, the Bills can't resign him. Is that someone
- 25:33Speaker 2: you could target, you know? And then Marquis Brown if
- 25:36Speaker 2: you want to talk about speed, you know, I know
- 25:38Speaker 2: he's kind of well traveled by now, but certainly a
- 25:40Speaker 2: guy that can get up and down the field and
- 25:42Speaker 2: take a top off a defense. So a couple of
- 25:45Speaker 2: target ideas right there, Bucky, what do you think?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, No, the.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Perimeter pieces are certainly going to be they need to
- 25:52Speaker 4: be upgraded. But before we get to throwing it outside,
- 25:54Speaker 4: we've got to fix this offensive lot because if they
- 25:57Speaker 4: can't keep him protect and he is never going to
- 25:59Speaker 4: be able to keep his eye down the field. And
- 26:01Speaker 4: so we're talking about beefing up this offensive lot and
- 26:04Speaker 4: being able to run the football. I know you have
- 26:06Speaker 4: miles centers that you brought over, but and two they're
- 26:08Speaker 4: able to get some push at the line of scrimmage
- 26:10Speaker 4: and kind of play bully ball at a point of attack.
- 26:12Speaker 4: It's going to be hard for Bryce Young because this
- 26:15Speaker 4: team is always in long yarded situation he's always playing
- 26:19Speaker 4: against pass rushers that are lined up in track stances
- 26:21Speaker 4: because they know they can ignore to run and come
- 26:23Speaker 4: after him.
- 26:24Speaker 3: And two, they're able to.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Balance out this offense with the running game being a
- 26:27Speaker 4: bigger part of it is going to be hard for
- 26:30Speaker 4: Bryce Young. So yes, we've got to get the perimeter
- 26:32Speaker 4: in place, but we've got to make sure that the
- 26:34Speaker 4: interior the pocket is protected so that he can be
- 26:37Speaker 4: culptable and feel good about a I'm being able to
- 26:40Speaker 4: throw on these mixed downs as opposed to these obvious
- 26:43Speaker 4: fast and downs that he's been thrust in.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Right now, Yeah, no doubt.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I mean they're going to have to have an aggressive
- 26:48Speaker 1: plan for what they want to do going into the
- 26:50Speaker 1: off season. So you know, we'll see what it looks like.
- 26:53Speaker 1: But to me, it's resources are all going to the offense.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Apologies to the defense. We'll try and get that figured
- 26:57Speaker 1: out down the road. But you've got at least have
- 26:59Speaker 1: a chance to evaluate Rice Young. So again, still half
- 27:02Speaker 1: the season left. Maybe we start seeing some strides of
- 27:04Speaker 1: this group around him, maybe he starts taking some strides.
- 27:06Speaker 3: We'll keep an eye on it.
- 27:08Speaker 1: But this is the kind of conversation we're gonna have
- 27:09Speaker 1: as we get towards the draft, as we get towards
- 27:11Speaker 1: the spring. So just a little teaser for you right there.
- 27:14Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna take a quick break and we'll
- 27:16Speaker 1: be right back. All right, it's time for our rookie
- 27:23Speaker 1: draft here, which I gotta say, I'm a little bit
- 27:25Speaker 1: disappointed to see Rhett closing the gap like he is.
- 27:29Speaker 1: He had five points this week because a tank Dell
- 27:31Speaker 1: getting him a win, and.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Then j Robinson. Yeah he's done well, but he's done.
- 27:38Speaker 3: He deserves it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Buck got the three points from Stroud. I got the
- 27:41Speaker 1: three points from Gibbs as well as a point from Kincaid,
- 27:43Speaker 1: so Rhett is only one point behind me, Bucky.
- 27:47Speaker 3: We can't allow this to happen here. This is what
- 27:50Speaker 3: I do.
- 27:51Speaker 2: This is what I do in November. Okay, it's winning time.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Marathon, that a sprint. He's using up all his gigs
- 27:57Speaker 4: right now. He'll fade at the end, he'll go.
- 28:00Speaker 3: And being who he is. Yeah, we're fine, let's let
- 28:03Speaker 3: him screw it up.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Let's let him screw it up. You're up, you get
- 28:05Speaker 1: the first pick. You're on a roll. Stevens going here,
- 28:08Speaker 1: Who do you got?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Pretty easy? To not screw this one up. Give me
- 28:11Speaker 2: not only the reality m VP of the league, but
- 28:14Speaker 2: the fantasy m VP. Here, I'll move the sticks. See
- 28:17Speaker 2: Jay Stroud.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Easiest number one pick I've ever made. Let's go baby, Yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 1: he is rock. I think that was no doubter. I
- 28:25Speaker 1: think I'm gonna break. I don't know if this is new,
- 28:28Speaker 1: but I don't know have we have We had a
- 28:29Speaker 1: running back go over Bjon Robinson in the draft, yet
- 28:32Speaker 1: this year, Uh.
- 28:34Speaker 3: He's on seeing Gibbs. He's on a bias.
- 28:37Speaker 1: So yes, and after Gibbs in person, mind that offensive
- 28:41Speaker 1: line and get and they actually give him the rock
- 28:43Speaker 1: and they played the Bears. I believe this week right,
- 28:46Speaker 1: we have Lions Bears. Yes, Lion's at home against the Bears.
- 28:50Speaker 1: They'll be protecting the lead and he'll be touching the rock.
- 28:52Speaker 1: So I'm giving Jamior Gibbs.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Like it all right, Bucky two in Rupa?
- 28:57Speaker 3: You got two?
- 28:59Speaker 4: Yeah, he's been, he's been, He's been terrific. So look,
- 29:02Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to grab a quarterback. And it's only
- 29:03Speaker 4: a handful of the ricky quarterbacks that are playing. Uh,
- 29:07Speaker 4: let's go with Let's see if we can fix not
- 29:10Speaker 4: brace shown. Let's go Aid and O'Connor from the Raiders.
- 29:12Speaker 4: We go take you a little here, the first one
- 29:14Speaker 4: with Zay Flowers because Zay Flowers is playing on Thursday.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Let's do it, Debt, Okay say back to you.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm not gonna let RHTT have the
- 29:24Speaker 1: luxury of watching the connection between Stroud.
- 29:27Speaker 3: No, I'm not doing that. No Tank Dell here with
- 29:30Speaker 3: this pic.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Go only come on, man, uh, what do you got?
- 29:37Speaker 3: What do you got here? Rett?
- 29:38Speaker 2: You know I got back to backs here, I think so,
- 29:42Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go. You know, Dalkin Caid's really been
- 29:45Speaker 2: coming on, and I think one more catch and he
- 29:47Speaker 2: would have actually gotten a win over Tank this past week.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Or it was the other way around. I don't know,
- 29:53Speaker 2: one way or the other. I'm going Dalton Kincaid as
- 29:56Speaker 2: my uh uh slash receiver this week. I was thinking
- 30:01Speaker 2: about Jordan Addison, but man with with Josh Dobbs and
- 30:04Speaker 2: a connection that he has found with t. J. Hockinson,
- 30:06Speaker 2: I don't know if there's any and maybe Justin Jefferson
- 30:08Speaker 2: on his way back, I don't know if there's any
- 30:10Speaker 2: room in the inn h for Jordan Addison in that
- 30:13Speaker 2: offense right now, So I'm going Dalton Kincaid, which means
- 30:15Speaker 2: I also need to find my running back this week.
- 30:20Speaker 2: And man, this is tough, but I think what I'm
- 30:25Speaker 2: gonna do is, after watching this Seattle Seahawks this week,
- 30:30Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna go with mister Sharboney out in Seattle.
- 30:35Speaker 3: And lit charbone.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Nice, Yeah, sometimes I like a nice chilled Sharbone
- 30:40Speaker 2: on my NFL Sunday give it to me, lock it up.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Options.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Well, I uh, I don't love my options here for
- 30:48Speaker 1: the quarterback. I'm not gonna lie, but I'm gonna go.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. I want to torture Bucky a little bit,
- 30:55Speaker 1: so I'm gonna go Levis against his Jaguars so you
- 30:58Speaker 1: can see it in person as as Levis, oh baby
- 31:01Speaker 1: rolling a little bit. Although I don't confidence level very low,
- 31:04Speaker 1: very very low on this one, but that's what I got, okay.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Man, I hate to be so dependent on the Baltimore
- 31:11Speaker 4: Ravens to think about the running back, but the guy's
- 31:13Speaker 4: touchdowns in back to bad games and Keaton Mitchell.
- 31:15Speaker 3: So maybe I'll just go with Keith Mitch and I
- 31:17Speaker 3: hope that he can kick. That's one. Put some points
- 31:19Speaker 3: on the good one.
- 31:20Speaker 2: That is a good one. I'm hoping Sharbonikn get a
- 31:22Speaker 2: goal on Kerry. Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Oh man, I need I need Bucky, any one of
- 31:28Speaker 1: us to bounce back at Rett's on this climb right now.
- 31:31Speaker 3: He's going to be in first place next week. I mean, look,
- 31:33Speaker 3: he's all he's all Houston Texans. He's like, he's like
- 31:36Speaker 3: all Houston Texans. Like he's been throwing winter Sassin. Is
- 31:40Speaker 3: a lot with the Texans, the lot with the Texans.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Got to break that up.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Oh, it's unbelievable. All right, big week though, We'll see
- 31:49Speaker 1: how these rookies perform. I feel a confidence meter. I'll
- 31:52Speaker 1: put my confidence meter, guys at sixty percent. Sixty percent
- 31:55Speaker 1: confidence meter. Uh, we'll see how this all pays out.
- 31:58Speaker 3: All right, that's it.
- 31:58Speaker 1: That's gonna do it for today. A fun episode. Hope
- 32:01Speaker 1: you guys enjoyed it as much as we have. We
- 32:03Speaker 1: will be back tomorrow, brand new episode again, five days
- 32:06Speaker 1: a week.
- 32:06Speaker 3: We've got you covered right here on Move the sticks.
