- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, Julie, you're on the air.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Hi there. I heard you guys talking about crazy things
- 0:05Speaker 2: that people have predicted.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that came true.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yes, that came true.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you got?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Well, I was at a charity event with my parents,
- 0:16Speaker 2: and I was with a couple that I'm somewhat acquainted with.
- 0:21Speaker 2: So I introduced my parents to them, and my mom
- 0:24Speaker 2: shook their hands. And then later, on the way home,
- 0:28Speaker 2: my mom said, Stay away from that man. When I
- 0:33Speaker 2: shook his hand, I felt evil through my whole body.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And that man was Bill Cosby.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 0:42Speaker 1: But what year was this?
- 0:44Speaker 2: This was in, believe it or not, it was in
- 0:47Speaker 2: the 80s.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So the stuff, the bad stuff wasn't even out yet. Oh, yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That was another 20 years away. Dang.
- 0:52Speaker 4: She knew.
- 0:53Speaker 2: She just knew. She did know, and she has since
- 0:57Speaker 2: passed away. But I have always sort of felt like
- 1:00Speaker 2: she was psychic, but she never talked about it.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:04Speaker 1: What a trip.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Well, Julie, thank you for sharing that story with us.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You bet.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You bet.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 1:11Speaker 1: That could lead us right into Stacks and Hacks. Sure
- 1:12Speaker 1: it could. Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Stacks and Hacks is all information. stacks of information and
- 1:17Speaker 3: then life hacks. Like right now, stay away from Bill Cosby.
- 1:20Speaker 3: That's a good piece of information.
- 1:21Speaker 1: That's good advice.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Another bit of information I have here, which I thought
- 1:24Speaker 3: was really interesting. And I think when I tell you
- 1:27Speaker 3: guys this, you're going to be confused and go, what?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Do you know there've been over 400 different flavors.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Of Kit Kats? What? No, I just said.
- 1:37Speaker 4: 400 is a lot.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I know that a lot of times that they do
- 1:40Speaker 1: like the limited edition flavors that you can only get
- 1:42Speaker 1: in a different country. I mean, how could they do?
- 1:44Speaker 1: But 400 is a lot.
- 1:45Speaker 4: How could they come up with 400 flavors?
- 1:47Speaker 3: There have been over 400 different flavors of Kit Kats
- 1:50Speaker 3: produced in Japan, including pear, soybean, blueberry, cheesecake, green.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Tea, and wasabi. I mean, I would try a few
- 1:57Speaker 1: of those. I've tried the green tea one before.
- 1:59Speaker 3: The word diarrhea comes from the Greek word that means
- 2:03Speaker 3: flowing through.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Did you know that Dr.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Pepper was created to taste like the smell inside of
- 2:11Speaker 3: a drugstore?
- 2:13Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Ew.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Why would you want it to taste like that?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Maybe back in the day when they came up with it,
- 2:17Speaker 1: that was a smell that would make people happy.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Dr.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Pepper.
- 2:21Speaker 3: How many espresso shots do you think it would take
- 2:24Speaker 3: to kill you?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Probably like 15. 15? Okay. 20. Kyle? I'd say 35.
- 2:31Speaker 1: 179 espresso shots would be enough caffeine to kill you. Oh,
- 2:34Speaker 1: that's it? That's a lot. There's a new beauty trend
- 2:37Speaker 1: going on right now among men. Among men.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It's worldwide, and it's trimming their eyelashes for a more
- 2:45Speaker 3: masculine look.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Experts say it's risky because eyelashes are important to protecting
- 2:51Speaker 3: your eyes from debris.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yeah, we'd be messing with that.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Just leave them.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Long lashes are great. Okay, now this is very funny,
- 2:58Speaker 1: by the way. This is so funny, especially when you
- 2:59Speaker 1: see the picture.
- 3:01Speaker 3: More than 8,000 people in Michigan got new, they applied
- 3:04Speaker 3: for new driver's license.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. And they got their license in the mail,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but it was this random black dude. This is like
- 3:09Speaker 1: a stock photo. I was excited, like, oh, I'm about
- 3:14Speaker 1: to finally get my license. I looked at my license.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It seemed that this man was on here, and I
- 3:18Speaker 2: automatically knew that it wasn't right.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, maybe they're putting the Secretary of State
- 3:22Speaker 4: on the licenses. But then I'm like, girl, the Secretary
- 3:26Speaker 4: of State is not a black man.
- 3:27Speaker 1: They could have sent out an email or anything.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I have no clue when I'm receiving my actual license.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I would love that to happen to me. How many
- 3:35Speaker 1: of them went out, did you say? 8,000. What?
- 3:37Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I would love to have a black man on my
- 3:40Speaker 3: driver's license that says John J.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Van Ness. And I go, it's me, man. Sorry.
- 3:44Speaker 3: And then they moved to reissue the real one. Then
- 3:46Speaker 3: I have the fake one. There's a black guy on there.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And I can always say it's me. That'd be so great.
- 3:50Speaker 3: The paint company Sherwin-Williams. They just named their color of
- 3:54Speaker 3: the year for 2027.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Oh, what is it?
- 3:56Speaker 4: Butter yellow.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Nope. Oh, good guess. Is it hunter green?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Close. Oh, it is?
- 4:02Speaker 1: It's called celery.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Oh.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Celery. I don't think that, in my head, it's not
- 4:06Speaker 1: a great.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Color for your wall. And by the way, did we
- 4:09Speaker 4: put Sherwin-Williams into deciding what our color of the year is?
- 4:11Speaker 4: I thought it was the Pantone people that did all that.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Consumer Reports ranked America's best grocery store rotisserie chickens, judging
- 4:19Speaker 3: them on texture, Flavor and appearance.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Costco, done.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Costco and Sam's Club fared well. ShopRite and Fresh Market
- 4:29Speaker 3: did not. I don't know those two.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I don't know those two either. So there you go.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I'm a big fan of Safeways, which is ridiculous. But hey,

- 4:37Speaker 4: your resume may have to impress. a computer now before
- 4:41Speaker 4: it ever impresses a person. So when you're applying for
- 4:43Speaker 4: a job, there's all these AI things you have to
- 4:46Speaker 4: jump through. In fact, my son Joe was telling me
- 4:49Speaker 4: that the last 10 interviews, only two of them were people.
- 4:52Speaker 4: A lot of them were AI interviews. And he's like,
- 4:54Speaker 4: you can't crush it with AI. You can't make them laugh.
- 4:57Speaker 4: You can't find commonality with AI. He got hired by
- 5:01Speaker 4: a person. So a lot of these companies now use
- 5:03Speaker 4: applicant tracking software to organize resumes and And look for
- 5:07Speaker 4: skills in wording that match the job. So before you apply,
- 5:11Speaker 4: go to Jobscan.com. They have a free option, free, where
- 5:16Speaker 4: you upload your resume, paste it in the job posting,
- 5:19Speaker 4: and they see how well the two match for you.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So before you get taken out by AI, use some
- 5:24Speaker 4: AI to see if your job description or your skills
- 5:28Speaker 4: actually match that particular job. Don't send the same resume everywhere.
