- 0:02Speaker 1: You want me to do them.
- 0:07Speaker 2: There has been away because.
- 0:10Speaker 3: You can stop.
- 0:13Speaker 2: You can't stop. You can't stop on like a random
- 0:21Speaker 2: ass Sunday and like that's when everyone came and they're like,
- 0:24Speaker 2: I got shit better to do. And I felt like
- 0:27Speaker 2: we record on a Friday and they're like, got drink, Well,
- 0:30Speaker 2: listen to Wisconsin's I got drinking to do for Wisconsin people.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I don't say that's like the rest of the world. Yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 2: because it was funny because if I found it funny,
- 0:41Speaker 2: because Dexter then posted that thing to me, He's like,
- 0:43Speaker 2: you weren't lying. I'm like, did you think I was?
- 0:49Speaker 2: I also like the other one, like the new the
- 0:51Speaker 2: new one for twenty twenty four came out and it
- 0:53Speaker 2: was like the guys like I don't even need to
- 0:56Speaker 2: zoom out. It's just right here. It's all Wisconsin, all right?
- 1:01Speaker 2: But what's going on? Everybody? I am the one, the
- 1:04Speaker 2: only the w o Okay, I joined by my normal
- 1:08Speaker 2: cast of misfits. Wow, we've got we were we had
- 1:11Speaker 2: six misfits at one time, we were down to three survive.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We are the three best friends that anyone could have.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Just me, Okay, that's cool.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Hanging earlier and you left me hanging.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Oh I don't remember. I was singing Stairway Heaven. I'm sorry,
- 1:31Speaker 2: but joining me is cool. Mister Cole Robbie, Hello, Hello,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and we have Dexter.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Hello.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I didn't give you guys any fun nicknames this week,
- 1:42Speaker 2: but all right, we'll figure out next week. But wow,
- 1:48Speaker 2: what an article this week. I did not read it.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I have briefly skimmed, and might I say I got
- 1:55Speaker 2: a little chubb, just a little I will. We'll see
- 1:59Speaker 2: how far it goes. But we're just going to read
- 2:03Speaker 2: it aloud, right, like what the work he does. He's
- 2:07Speaker 2: not very good at reading. He's going to have to
- 2:09Speaker 2: get his finger out right so I can point to
- 2:11Speaker 2: the words as I read. But we're going to give
- 2:15Speaker 2: this a shot. So it's been a few months since
- 2:16Speaker 2: the robin Hood patch. Is that what updates and ratas
- 2:20Speaker 2: are called? An altered patches? I really don't like that.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It looks like they're called patches.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, don't ask me why. It rubs me the wrong way,
- 2:29Speaker 2: but it kind of does. And we've learned a lot
- 2:32Speaker 2: from it and drastically improved our investment process in reviewing
- 2:36Speaker 2: the cards to come, especially the uniques and their algorithm.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Thank Jesus, maybe Lyra can get something. Balancing cards for
- 2:51Speaker 2: a competitive metagame is such a big challenge, however, and
- 2:55Speaker 2: while we believe we are working in the right direction,
- 2:57Speaker 2: some impacts are already felt about the noose, about the
- 3:01Speaker 2: sets that have already done trial by Frost. For example,
- 3:04Speaker 2: we spent we sent a print early fall of twenty
- 3:07Speaker 2: twenty four. Wow, so you're talking like four months ago,
- 3:12Speaker 2: five months ago they sent it to print at Equinox.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It is our highest importance to provide you with the
- 3:19Speaker 2: best gameplay experience, and we know the disparities and power
- 3:23Speaker 2: levels may lead to an unhealthy or unbalanced and unhealthy metagame,
- 3:28Speaker 2: which can be frustrating. Today, we are deciding to act
- 3:31Speaker 2: preemptively on cards we think are potential issues for the
- 3:35Speaker 2: future of the game and your enjoyment. This is especially
- 3:39Speaker 2: true when it comes to unique cards, as we don't
- 3:42Speaker 2: want the competitive metagame to be shifting around specific unique cards.
- 3:47Speaker 2: They would be so good they'll become overwhelmingly rare and
- 3:51Speaker 2: hard to find. This could be a split within the
- 3:53Speaker 2: player base between those who have the resources to find
- 3:57Speaker 2: the best cards in the shifting metagame and those who
- 3:59Speaker 2: don't and would become frustrated within balance. The situation would
- 4:05Speaker 2: be against the core values of accessibility altereds is championing.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And this is why we think preventing these situations before
- 4:13Speaker 2: they're happening is better than having them happen and fixing
- 4:17Speaker 2: them afterwards. Can we just everybody, just can we just me?
- 4:23Speaker 4: Is that a slow clap you're starting?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh no, no, this is hold on, let me get
- 4:27Speaker 2: closer to the mic. That isn't That is a fantastic clap.
- 4:31Speaker 2: This is what this is the shit? This this little paragraph,
- 4:35Speaker 2: right this is the game I've been searching for, right like,
- 4:39Speaker 2: this is this I I really, I honestly thought key
- 4:43Speaker 2: Forde was this game. And the more I went into
- 4:46Speaker 2: key Forge, the more I found out that this was
- 4:48Speaker 2: not true. Right like, and it's just in that like
- 4:52Speaker 2: those two sentence, this could cause a split betw within
- 4:56Speaker 2: the player base between those who have the resources to
- 4:59Speaker 2: find the best cards for shifting metagames and those who
- 5:03Speaker 2: don't and will become frustrated with the imbalance. This situation
- 5:07Speaker 2: would go against the core values of accessibility altered as championing. Right, So,
- 5:13Speaker 2: just that line where they're like, hey, we realized this
- 5:17Speaker 2: could become a problem and lead to people going, you
- 5:19Speaker 2: know what, I'm good and leaving the game.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Yeah. I feel like this part of the article is
- 5:26Speaker 4: the part that nobody read. They just scrolled down to.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah, the changes more like more than likely because forever
- 5:35Speaker 3: and ever and ever I have been I mean shit,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I'm thirty seven years old, right I started playing card games.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I started, Oh god, I'm gonna date myself with the
- 5:44Speaker 2: original Star Wars t CCG from Decipher And since that time,
- 5:50Speaker 2: I have looked for a game, searched for a game
- 5:55Speaker 2: desperately in the CCG and TCG realm where player skilled
- 6:00Speaker 2: meant more than your pocketbook, And forever and ever and ever,
- 6:05Speaker 2: they just did it. Card games have come, card games
- 6:09Speaker 2: have gone, and finally, it finally looks like somebody was like, Hey,
- 6:14Speaker 2: this is what we want and what we're championing, championing, championing,
- 6:21Speaker 2: and this is where we want. We want players skill
- 6:23Speaker 2: to be better than the pocketbook. You can't just buy
- 6:28Speaker 2: your way into victories, because nothing pisses me off more
- 6:33Speaker 2: than somebody who just buys their wins and dexter. You
- 6:37Speaker 2: and I had to talk about this not too long ago.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Where we talked about uniques, where it very much felt
- 6:42Speaker 2: like Altered was shifting into if you have it, you
- 6:46Speaker 2: have it. If you don't, you don't.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 2: If you have the expensive uniques, you're on top of
- 6:51Speaker 2: the world. If you don't, you're on the bottom of
- 6:53Speaker 2: the ship pile.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Yeah, when we get into the later cards that they
- 6:59Speaker 4: break down, you'll see that that's kind of exactly what
- 7:02Speaker 4: they're targeting.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And it's and I just got to say this, fucking bravo,
- 7:10Speaker 2: bra fucking bravo, thank you.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Definitely cards that people spent close to one thousand dollars
- 7:18Speaker 4: to just get one card.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, and saying that I number one, I said, bravo.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And just so you know you're getting my live reactions
- 7:27Speaker 2: on these. The other two have read this article already.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I was a bad content creator. That's why we're only
- 7:33Speaker 2: number sixty nine, and the content creators for Altered and
- 7:38Speaker 2: I didn't get an opportunity to read this article and
- 7:41Speaker 2: it kind of just fell into our laps. So we
- 7:43Speaker 2: are reading this. I am live reading it. I'm three
- 7:48Speaker 2: paragraphs and I'm already loving it. I'm ready. I'm ready
- 7:51Speaker 2: to quit that other shit game I play just just kidding.
- 7:56Speaker 2: We are always looking for ways to improve how we
- 7:59Speaker 2: engage with our community and keep the game feeling fresh.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Inspired by digital games, we're implementing specific momentum to create
- 8:07Speaker 2: structured updates and more chosen cohesive experence experience. Here's why
- 8:13Speaker 2: community milestones are predictable updates. By scheduling larger cohesive patches
- 8:18Speaker 2: into season cycles, we can improve planning and communication. It
- 8:22Speaker 2: gives players clarity and when to expect significant changes and
- 8:26Speaker 2: minimizing surprising adjustments. I think I'm crying. I'm peering up
- 8:32Speaker 2: right now.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah, And isn't this.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Every card gamer's wet dream.
- 8:38Speaker 4: So I'll all be the person that read way too
- 8:42Speaker 4: much of the discord and spent way too much time
- 8:44Speaker 4: conversating with all sorts of different people about their love
- 8:49Speaker 4: of this or a hate of this. And this is
- 8:52Speaker 4: the one area where my opinion is they have no
- 8:56Speaker 4: way to win. And I also think this is another
- 8:59Speaker 4: part of the article that a lot of people didn't
- 9:01Speaker 4: read because a huge complaint is people will either feel
- 9:06Speaker 4: it was too soon or too late and they wish
- 9:11Speaker 4: they would have had more of a notice. But if
- 9:13Speaker 4: you read that right there, that says that's exactly what
- 9:18Speaker 4: they're working towards. And obviously the game is not even
- 9:22Speaker 4: six months old yet.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But this is every like, oh my god, this is
- 9:25Speaker 2: every every other card game that I've ever played. Communication
- 9:31Speaker 2: and decision making is like the one thing that every
- 9:36Speaker 2: card game has in common, where the creator does just
- 9:39Speaker 2: doesn't communicate enough and makes a decision that pisses off
- 9:44Speaker 2: the community, whether it's good or bad. Right, Like, I mean,
- 9:50Speaker 2: we joke on our cons corner about gig like they
- 9:56Speaker 2: released like three articles in a month and where like
- 9:58Speaker 2: they filled their quota for the year, like they don't
- 10:01Speaker 2: got to release no more. You know, this is like saying, hey,
- 10:04Speaker 2: we're gonna have these cycles so you can plan for them.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So in the future, maybe you don't spend a bucket
- 10:11Speaker 2: of money on that card until like a month later,
- 10:15Speaker 2: just to wait and see what a novel concept. Because
- 10:20Speaker 2: let's be honest, you spending a bucket of money on
- 10:22Speaker 2: the secondary market because them is zero good as far
- 10:27Speaker 2: as I see. I've always understood a strong secondary market
- 10:32Speaker 2: makes a strong game. But there's nothing like spending a
- 10:36Speaker 2: bucket of money into something just to find out that
- 10:38Speaker 2: it's no longer no longer a thing, right, Man of
- 10:41Speaker 2: crypt Commander players.
- 10:44Speaker 5: All right?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Better planification and efficiency. I didn't realize plantification was a word.
- 10:51Speaker 2: By introducing structured milestone milestone, season patches enable our design
- 10:56Speaker 2: team to better align their workflow, plan new features, and
- 11:00Speaker 2: ensure polished, cohesive updates. This planning cycle allows us to
- 11:05Speaker 2: maintain consistency and development while adopt adapting to player feedback
- 11:10Speaker 2: between patches, flexibility for emergencies. While season patches are the focus,
- 11:15Speaker 2: we were remain prepared for emergency patches with critical balance
- 11:21Speaker 2: or technical issues around when they arise. The season structure
- 11:26Speaker 2: merely helps reduce unnecessary complications while ensuring smoother operations. We're
- 11:32Speaker 2: therefore implementing the following milestones before both at the start
- 11:37Speaker 2: of the season, just before the release of a new set,
- 11:40Speaker 2: and towards the middle of the season approximately two months
- 11:44Speaker 2: after releases a set, a patch dedicated to updating the
- 11:49Speaker 2: game if necessary. A state of the game AMA asks
- 11:53Speaker 2: me anything hosted on our YouTube? I almost say your YouTube,
- 11:57Speaker 2: like yeah, come on in channel with our game to designs.
- 12:00Speaker 2: This is an opportunity for the community to learn more
- 12:02Speaker 2: about the team's vision of the game, share your own perspectives,
- 12:06Speaker 2: and engage in a meaningful discussion.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Yeah, and just for anyone listening on the A M.
- 12:14Speaker 4: A part, Equinox is currently moving offices, So while they
- 12:19Speaker 4: would have wanted to do this live day or this
- 12:23Speaker 4: weekend or early next week, it'll be this first one
- 12:26Speaker 4: will just be a little delayed from the article.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Which I don't think anybody is like really gonna be
- 12:30Speaker 2: upset about that. There's probably gonna be a few grumpy
- 12:34Speaker 2: old turns out there who are like, if they said
- 12:38Speaker 2: they were gonna do consistency.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you're you're You're hard for us to hear on
- 12:46Speaker 4: discord for the moment. Lookie, So I don't know if
- 12:48Speaker 4: you got the phone, but I.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Hear them perfectly.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Really.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, maybe it's me all along. Maybe my headset
- 12:59Speaker 4: is just sticking.
- 13:01Speaker 2: It's I I.
- 13:04Speaker 4: What no I was.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I was gonna sing the Taylor Swiss song. It's me
- 13:10Speaker 2: on the problem problem.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah. So I I will also say I didn't read
- 13:17Speaker 4: like this part thoroughly because I once I saw what
- 13:20Speaker 4: was going on in this article, I was like, Okay,
- 13:23Speaker 4: this is obviously the podcast topic. But I would say
- 13:29Speaker 4: to anyone who just skipped straight to the suspensions and
- 13:34Speaker 4: patches and things like that. I really think this part
- 13:38Speaker 4: right here if you actually read it satisfied and listen
- 13:43Speaker 4: of the complaints I saw a lot of in the discord.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Listen. If you guys don't want to read it, just
- 13:48Speaker 2: join us. I'll read it to you. Yep, yep, get
- 13:52Speaker 2: yourself a little blanky, a little snuggy, and some pop part.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I'll read it to you. Story time with Wookie, all
- 14:00Speaker 2: making the right calls between rata, suspensions, and bans. TCGs
- 14:05Speaker 2: are intricate games, with hundreds of different game pieces interacting
- 14:08Speaker 2: with each other. Because of this, some cards will eventually
- 14:11Speaker 2: end up stronger than we thought, dominating the metagame and
- 14:15Speaker 2: requiring us to step in. The most common solution is
- 14:17Speaker 2: to ban cards. While banning is never a great experience
- 14:20Speaker 2: for players, it is an effective way to remove a
- 14:23Speaker 2: problematic card from the game. In this dilemma, we know
- 14:27Speaker 2: that some players will be happy to see the oppressive
- 14:29Speaker 2: card go, while others will be sad to lose their
- 14:31Speaker 2: favorite card or combo. Some players will remain with unusable cards,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and some cool designs will be forgotten or remembered as
- 14:41Speaker 2: this was this cool card that was way too good
- 14:47Speaker 2: The game design team is also very attached to each
- 14:50Speaker 2: of its designs, and seeing a cardgo is always something
- 14:52Speaker 2: we regret. We feel like we could have nailed the design,
- 14:56Speaker 2: and the banning it is a waste of what would
- 15:00Speaker 2: have been a great design. As both physical and digital games,
- 15:06Speaker 2: Altered can track collect player collections like a digital game.
- 15:09Speaker 2: This lets us update cards through eratas and use pod
- 15:14Speaker 2: technology to ensure the updated cards are available to players.
- 15:19Speaker 2: As you've seen with Robinhood, finding a great erotom for
- 15:22Speaker 2: a card can be both a puzzle and an entire craft.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We have a lot of constraints that are imposed by
- 15:30Speaker 2: the original design. People are accustomed to how cards work,
- 15:34Speaker 2: it costs, its cost, and its stats. The more we change,
- 15:39Speaker 2: the harder it is for everyone to remember the erotum
- 15:42Speaker 2: and have an enjoyable experience. Arata are also a form
- 15:46Speaker 2: of gamble, as you can only realistically erotom a card
- 15:50Speaker 2: once or people will never be able to keep track
- 15:53Speaker 2: of it, which means you need to get it right
- 15:55Speaker 2: the first time. In the case of robin Hood, we
- 15:58Speaker 2: thought Robinhood was acceptable and power level, and we were wrong,
- 16:02Speaker 2: and it's core ability creating too much of a frustrating
- 16:05Speaker 2: play experience that we felt we needed to address the
- 16:08Speaker 2: card as an emergency. Power level outliers will trigger a
- 16:12Speaker 2: desire for action and our part, but it takes time
- 16:16Speaker 2: to dedicate. It takes time to dedicate the necessary resources
- 16:19Speaker 2: on the matter and come up with a satisfactory solution
- 16:24Speaker 2: introducing I don't know if y'all can hear that suspense.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Noise gates too good, damn. So all right, I'm gonna
- 16:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna give a disclaimer to people listening to this
- 16:37Speaker 4: because it's it is not a ban, which I know
- 16:42Speaker 4: people hate when I say that, because other card games
- 16:46Speaker 4: have been known to suspend a card and leave it
- 16:48Speaker 4: for months and never come back to it. This whole
- 16:52Speaker 4: thing is about how Altered doesn't intend to do that,
- 16:57Speaker 4: and Eric in talks in discord and repeatedly said they
- 17:01Speaker 4: are working on these cards right now with the intention
- 17:05Speaker 4: of getting them back to play as soon as possible.
- 17:08Speaker 4: So I know people hate when I say it's not
- 17:11Speaker 4: a band, But I also think because a lot of
- 17:15Speaker 4: people don't actually read the articles, it is really disingenuous
- 17:19Speaker 4: to say Haven is banned. Haven is banned. All my
- 17:23Speaker 4: cards are useless now. While the change might make it
- 17:27Speaker 4: so you don't want to play it. The card is
- 17:29Speaker 4: not banned. That's that's my.
- 17:32Speaker 2: PSA well for now, right, So there it's banned for
- 17:43Speaker 2: now with the intention of coming back to it in
- 17:47Speaker 2: a different state.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Yes, and it should only be a couple weeks hopefully,
- 17:54Speaker 4: is there is their hope it's not going to be
- 17:57Speaker 4: like the cards suspended in it comes back set five.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Yeah, Bear, and I think it would be reasonable for
- 18:07Speaker 6: like two or three of the cards to come back
- 18:10Speaker 6: in like a few weeks and then a few other
- 18:12Speaker 6: ones like take longer or something for them to figure
- 18:14Speaker 6: out how to patch it perfectly, because some of them
- 18:16Speaker 6: are going to be more difficult than others.
- 18:19Speaker 2: So suspensions introducing suspensions. The suspension is a temporary ban
- 18:25Speaker 2: we use when we aim to find a suitable rodom
- 18:27Speaker 2: for a problematic card. However, finding the right rottom is
- 18:31Speaker 2: a meticulous work that takes time, and not every card
- 18:34Speaker 2: will have a solution. While we strive to resolve suspensions
- 18:38Speaker 2: whenever possible, some cards may ultimately remain suspended for a
- 18:43Speaker 2: while or end up permanently banned. Let's talk about the
- 18:49Speaker 2: trial by frost season patch important. This patch will can
- 18:55Speaker 2: be considered effective with the release of this article. However,
- 19:00Speaker 2: due to some technical challenges for its implementation on our
- 19:03Speaker 2: app and consequencely its effectiveness on board game Arita, the
- 19:09Speaker 2: digital patch will be applied at a later date as
- 19:13Speaker 2: soon as possible in the coming weeks. We understand that
- 19:17Speaker 2: it's not an ideal situation, and we like to apologize
- 19:19Speaker 2: for the inconvenience many players for our community will not
- 19:22Speaker 2: see the article, and well, we'vet is so weird. We
- 19:26Speaker 2: talked about all like the more you go to different
- 19:30Speaker 2: card games, the more things stay the same. Like we're
- 19:34Speaker 2: all sitting here right, we're reading this article, but like
- 19:36Speaker 2: there are tons of people who will never see this article,
- 19:40Speaker 2: never read it, and just be like, oh that card
- 19:43Speaker 2: is now whatever my buddy told me, and they just
- 19:46Speaker 2: never hear about it again.
- 19:47Speaker 4: But there were a couple people that stopped going to
- 19:50Speaker 4: our locals and the reason was Waroo in robin Hood
- 19:54Speaker 4: And they never knew that robin Hood was rated in
- 19:59Speaker 4: tel the Trial by Frost pre release. And they literally said,
- 20:03Speaker 4: I would have come back sooner if I knew that
- 20:06Speaker 4: they changed Robinhoods.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Why you got to listen to Altered Corner exactly, We're
- 20:11Speaker 2: going to keep it. One hunter with you, all right,
- 20:14Speaker 2: I lost my place. Others will unknowingly launch games on
- 20:17Speaker 2: board game Arena with decks that shouldn't be legal anymore.
- 20:21Speaker 2: The most important thing to us is that we believe
- 20:24Speaker 2: you all as a community will be helpful and patient
- 20:27Speaker 2: with those that didn't get the memo and explain that
- 20:30Speaker 2: the update with them in the future. A digital patch
- 20:34Speaker 2: will clearly prevent the deck builder from accessing a card
- 20:38Speaker 2: that is not legal. A card that has been erotted
- 20:41Speaker 2: will be erotted within the system, and it's patch notes
- 20:44Speaker 2: integrated to it, like we did with robin An all
- 20:47Speaker 2: necessary visual information available. There should be little to no
- 20:52Speaker 2: confusion regarding casual organized play weekly expeditions. In case you
- 20:57Speaker 2: would be playing against someone who does bring a card
- 21:01Speaker 2: that is supposed to be erotted or suspended, we believe
- 21:04Speaker 2: in most cases the simplest thing to do is to
- 21:07Speaker 2: put the card aside from play and let them draw
- 21:09Speaker 2: another card and replacement. Regarding WAHU, applying its rottom should
- 21:14Speaker 2: be fine, even if the card has not been reprinted
- 21:19Speaker 2: as for as for the existing robin Hood. Regarding competitive play,
- 21:23Speaker 2: all players attending are expected to be aware of the
- 21:26Speaker 2: latest updates about the game. However, we strongly suggest tournament
- 21:30Speaker 2: organizers warn their attendance at the registration phase. Arbitual decisions
- 21:36Speaker 2: will be made accordingly to the current tournament guidelines. All right,
- 21:41Speaker 2: so time to get into the brass tacks.
- 21:43Speaker 4: This part here. I feel people I don't know people
- 21:48Speaker 4: are cops or something, but like, since the article says
- 21:52Speaker 4: that it is considered effective, now people are like, oh
- 21:56Speaker 4: my god, I can't take my deck to my weekly
- 21:58Speaker 4: play like it's just ruined. And how we dealt with
- 22:03Speaker 4: it in our local and how I know a couple
- 22:05Speaker 4: other people did, is we just let people know, Hey,
- 22:09Speaker 4: this change is being made. If you have it in
- 22:11Speaker 4: your deck, that's fine, whatever, it's no big deal. Everyone
- 22:15Speaker 4: here is cool with it. Or the situation that they
- 22:19Speaker 4: pointed out here also perfectly valid if people want to
- 22:22Speaker 4: do that. This article does not make it so where
- 22:27Speaker 4: if everyone is fine at your locals, you playing certain
- 22:30Speaker 4: things for the next couple of days or whatever, Like
- 22:34Speaker 4: Equinox isn't going to come and shut down the store.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Not true. I've heard I've heard Loki is coming to
- 22:41Speaker 2: shut down all those stars immediately.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's honestly. How some people.
- 22:46Speaker 2: He's got a key to all of them, and he
- 22:48Speaker 2: will be personally coming to confiscate your cards.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, how we dealt with robin Hood at packs even
- 22:56Speaker 4: though the errata was like a month ahead. We just
- 23:00Speaker 4: printed out flyers that showed what the new robin Hood was.
- 23:03Speaker 4: So if anyone brought the card, it's like, hey, this
- 23:06Speaker 4: is what it actually says, and it was easy good
- 23:08Speaker 4: to go.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Oh goodness, I am tired. All right, let's get into
- 23:12Speaker 2: wah ruin Mac. He has changed substantially. All right, are
- 23:20Speaker 2: we ever going to see Noble one again? Is Zach
- 23:24Speaker 2: ever coming back? They just they just keep kicking a
- 23:30Speaker 2: all right, Warru and Mac used to read at noon.
- 23:33Speaker 2: If you control one or more bureaucrats, create an artist,
- 23:36Speaker 2: recruit one on one token soldier in target expedition. When
- 23:41Speaker 2: you play a bureaucrat, you may have it gain a sleep.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Now he just reads, when you play a bureaucrat, it
- 23:51Speaker 2: gains asleep.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Can we just take a moment to mention how beautiful
- 23:56Speaker 4: the card looks now though, compared to the fucking clutter
- 24:00Speaker 4: taste wall I. I will recuse myself for most of
- 24:05Speaker 4: this reaction and let Dexter have.
- 24:07Speaker 1: His top plain, I honestly don't have that much to
- 24:13Speaker 1: say anymore. Like when I first saw this, I was
- 24:16Speaker 1: extremely pissed, and for like a good thirty seconds there,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I was like, I'm quitting this game. How could they
- 24:22Speaker 1: kill my favorite hero like this? But like, honestly, it's fine.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I can move on.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Guess what, at least your favorite hero wasn't killed by
- 24:32Speaker 2: another card's banning or are rotams so kick Trey Sting?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Then Ben is like now like I don't want to
- 24:45Speaker 2: say I'm playable but not great. Ever since Robin Hood's
- 24:49Speaker 2: been was arata like Fenn has not been what Fenn
- 24:53Speaker 2: used to be.
- 24:54Speaker 1: That is true.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Trace came out hardy. Also, Dexter, you have to remember,
- 25:00Speaker 4: Lookie is reading this live.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So yes, well we gotta like, okay, I don't know
- 25:06Speaker 2: about what.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I mean.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Right whatever this does, Like, I think this is complete
- 25:13Speaker 1: overkill on war. Honestly, if they had just removed the bureaucrats,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I think it would still be like a bad hero
- 25:22Speaker 1: and probably like b tier. But since they also force
- 25:26Speaker 1: you to make all of your beaucrats gain a sleep
- 25:29Speaker 1: and you don't have a choice, that means at the
- 25:31Speaker 1: end of the game. If you ever want to push,
- 25:34Speaker 1: you cannot push because all of your cards will be
- 25:36Speaker 1: asleep and the only card to wake it up is
- 25:40Speaker 1: now going to be half to run in all War decks.
- 25:43Speaker 1: The what's that card called.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Rallying Call?
- 25:51Speaker 1: Rallying Call, Yeah, that's going to be a must play
- 25:54Speaker 1: in all War decks, and War did not want that
- 25:56Speaker 1: previously at all. And now War is going to run
- 25:59Speaker 1: a lot less bemocrats and it's not making tokens and
- 26:02Speaker 1: War is dead. Sad day.
- 26:06Speaker 4: All right, well, kie, you, as a casual player, how
- 26:10Speaker 4: do you feel seeing this fuck players? So I'll try
- 26:18Speaker 4: to give the most understanding response because I've already fought
- 26:25Speaker 4: it out in the discord with people being way too extreme,
- 26:32Speaker 4: so I can agree to some point that maybe the
- 26:37Speaker 4: errata is a little too far, But at the same time,
- 26:41Speaker 4: I don't think it's as harsh as war players react
- 26:46Speaker 4: to it. I honestly think Warrio players have been very
- 26:51Speaker 4: extremely spoiled, and now they just sound like someone who's
- 26:55Speaker 4: been so spoiled not knowing what to do.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Oh now I have to play the game for real.
- 27:03Speaker 4: From the From the outside, I think this causes some
- 27:08Speaker 4: very interesting interactions and maybe some different warrior decks that
- 27:15Speaker 4: we could see the problem with, agreeing that it might
- 27:19Speaker 4: be too far is I don't know if there's any
- 27:24Speaker 4: other way to do it where he isn't still just
- 27:27Speaker 4: as much of a problem, like, okay, see, but then
- 27:32Speaker 4: he's still too strong in my opinion, Well.
- 27:38Speaker 1: That's okay that you should try to play with Waru
- 27:43Speaker 1: being able to make tokens.
- 27:45Speaker 4: You cannot make me do that. I'm already playing gul
- 27:48Speaker 4: Ring for you people. I'm not playing war You're gonna
- 27:51Speaker 4: have to You're gonna have to figure it out for yourself.
- 27:55Speaker 4: But the other suggestion people have had is to just
- 28:00Speaker 4: have it be you may sleep. I just think it's
- 28:03Speaker 4: still so strong because if you compare it to Tasia,
- 28:07Speaker 4: all Tasa does is the first character she plays each
- 28:12Speaker 4: afternoon gets a boost, not any player after, not anything
- 28:17Speaker 4: else she can do. So if I were to consider
- 28:21Speaker 4: making Tajia in line with Waru, I would say every
- 28:26Speaker 4: plant she plays games anchored or something, and every time
- 28:31Speaker 4: I mentioned and anything like that, everyone else is like,
- 28:33Speaker 4: oh my god, are you insane? That's way too busted,
- 28:36Speaker 4: And I'm like, it's literally what Warho does.
- 28:40Speaker 1: If it was every plant gets asleep. I think that
- 28:43Speaker 1: would be fair, but giving an anchor where stat Stoll
- 28:45Speaker 1: counts does seem quite a bit strong to me.
- 28:47Speaker 4: See But the thing you got to remember is Tasia
- 28:50Speaker 4: does not have access to as many low cost units
- 28:54Speaker 4: as Waru, and none of those plants have super good
- 29:00Speaker 4: abilities besides out, so you can play quits at the
- 29:06Speaker 4: same time. Though I'll accept the sleep, I'll fucking rocket,
- 29:10Speaker 4: So I'm down.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I'm happy about it. I mean, yeah, I've seen or
- 29:23Speaker 2: at least one of my lifetimes.
- 29:25Speaker 5: I just.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Move on.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I mean, I had the conversation earlier today with someone
- 29:34Speaker 4: in the discord talking about how they've spent so much
- 29:38Speaker 4: money and they're upset and all this and that because
- 29:43Speaker 4: of worry when everything and I'm always trying to come
- 29:49Speaker 4: from an angle of what's the best for the most people,
- 29:53Speaker 4: but unfortunately some people are I mean, humans in general
- 29:57Speaker 4: are often very selfish, and if it it's not something
- 30:01Speaker 4: that benter sits them directly, they don't want it to happen.
- 30:05Speaker 4: So when what's funny is people will try to make
- 30:09Speaker 4: a poll like what do you think about this patch?
- 30:13Speaker 4: And every time they do it, the results of like
- 30:17Speaker 4: the greater amount of people are positive, and then the
- 30:21Speaker 4: person who made the pole looks like a fool because
- 30:24Speaker 4: they were doing the pole to think that it was
- 30:26Speaker 4: going to back up their idea. But if a change
- 30:29Speaker 4: in the game is the best for the most people
- 30:32Speaker 4: and makes the most people happy, I am for it.
- 30:36Speaker 4: And I'll even use the example if they nerve tiny Gin,
- 30:40Speaker 4: literally my favorite card. If they told me that it
- 30:43Speaker 4: wins sixty five percent of games and people are having
- 30:47Speaker 4: a hard time against it, cool, Okay, I understand, let's go.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I do think this is definitely the best for the majority,
- 30:57Speaker 1: and Water players are of course going to be solid
- 31:00Speaker 1: and think it got Nerve too hard. And I think
- 31:02Speaker 1: ninety of the previous competitive Waroo players will just completely
- 31:07Speaker 1: play a different hero. I've talked to a couple of
- 31:10Speaker 1: different Waroo players. They literally laughed at me when I
- 31:13Speaker 1: asked if they were going to stay on Waru. So
- 31:15Speaker 1: the major consensus is Waroo's dead people are just going
- 31:19Speaker 1: to move to other things, and I think overall the
- 31:21Speaker 1: metashift will be healthy and the most people will be
- 31:24Speaker 1: happy about it.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Should we move into Ozma.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You don't want to read all about the words?
- 31:36Speaker 2: Where do you want me to read?
- 31:38Speaker 1: It.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's sad. At one point in time,
- 31:44Speaker 2: they did.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Talk about data and trends in competitive play saying how
- 31:48Speaker 1: it's oppressive, and they have data saying how it's too strong,
- 31:53Speaker 1: and also that in later specifically in later iterations in
- 31:58Speaker 1: later sets, when they add more cards, that's just going
- 32:01Speaker 1: to keep making water stronger with more better bureaucrats. So
- 32:04Speaker 1: they felt like doing this now was good since later
- 32:08Speaker 1: on it would just keep getting better and make.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Two young people look at shadow Drake in the In
- 32:14Speaker 2: the chat, because this is something I tend to agree with,
- 32:21Speaker 2: they talk about not lying to Ride multiple times. I
- 32:24Speaker 2: am convinced that this is in prep for set three.
- 32:27Speaker 2: For Set three, Wahru, I agree, And then same reason.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Spoiler alert for those of you playing along at home,
- 32:36Speaker 2: preemptively hit Linduay's jellyfish. She's going to get major support
- 32:40Speaker 2: in the next set.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah, this is preemptive for a few different characters.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Right, but Ozma, We'll go through Ozma, Ozma and the
- 32:49Speaker 2: Rare and ortis Rare, not any other rare, just the
- 32:52Speaker 2: ortist Rare have been suspended while Robin Hood has all
- 32:59Speaker 2: eyes on him. Ozma was one of the reasons we
- 33:02Speaker 2: saw Ortist decks at the top of most tournament results.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Is a key piece of both Sigasmar and Wau decks,
- 33:10Speaker 2: allowing them to play a lot of cheap cards at
- 33:13Speaker 2: virtually no deck building costs, and they have access to
- 33:17Speaker 2: a lot of card advantage. Boy, at least they're starting
- 33:21Speaker 2: to look at that because like some factions have no
- 33:24Speaker 2: ways of like their card starved, and some factions just
- 33:30Speaker 2: draw their entire deck at the common, the highest win
- 33:34Speaker 2: rate on BGA is fifty nine percent. That's crazy. It
- 33:39Speaker 2: seems way too good and deserves a suspension. Finding a
- 33:43Speaker 2: proper round for Ozma isn't easy, and as its identity
- 33:49Speaker 2: revolves around drawing a card, and part of its problem
- 33:52Speaker 2: is its mane cost of two. Unfortunately, once it gets
- 33:56Speaker 2: up to three, Ozma becomes incredibly similar to Babi Yaga,
- 34:00Speaker 2: and we do not want them both to share the
- 34:02Speaker 2: same design space. While we haven't found a satisfactory around
- 34:07Speaker 2: them yet, we are continuing to test and explore possible solutions.
- 34:12Speaker 2: For now, we've decided to suspend both the common and
- 34:14Speaker 2: ortis rare version of Ozma. Suspending only the common would
- 34:18Speaker 2: likely lead players to use the rare version, which wouldn't
- 34:22Speaker 2: address the underlying issue. Similarly, by rodding the comma to
- 34:26Speaker 2: make that rotting the comma to something that looks completely
- 34:30Speaker 2: different from the rare could cause confusion, making it hard
- 34:34Speaker 2: for players to understand and connect and understand the connection
- 34:38Speaker 2: between the two cards. By suspending both versions together, we
- 34:43Speaker 2: ensure that we are introducing an erata. Both versions will
- 34:46Speaker 2: reflect the card's original design intent in a consistent way.
- 34:50Speaker 2: The Bravos version of Ozma, however, aligns more closely with
- 34:54Speaker 2: the original vision for the card. Its card draw requires
- 34:58Speaker 2: more build up, which better matches the strategic choices we
- 35:03Speaker 2: wanted to encourage.
- 35:05Speaker 4: I think this one was the only one that kind
- 35:08Speaker 4: of surprised me. But then if you read through this,
- 35:11Speaker 4: you're like, oh, yeah, that makes total sense. And I
- 35:15Speaker 4: think the only reason it's a surprise is because it's
- 35:17Speaker 4: a very like passive thing that gives a big benefit,
- 35:24Speaker 4: Like it's not something that's just actively crushing you, but
- 35:28Speaker 4: it is giving them card draw very easily, which, as
- 35:34Speaker 4: it states, is the single common with the highest win
- 35:38Speaker 4: rate on BGA. So yeah, that makes sense. I've seen
- 35:42Speaker 4: people suggest just changing it to if you control three
- 35:46Speaker 4: or more other non token characters draw card, which is
- 35:51Speaker 4: probably not a bad bet to see.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I was just going to ask that because it's like, well,
- 35:58Speaker 2: it just makes sense because of the amount of token
- 36:00Speaker 2: that they create. If we don't include token characters, what
- 36:03Speaker 2: change does that make?
- 36:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I would also think a fair errata, and this
- 36:11Speaker 4: will probably make a lot of people not like it.
- 36:15Speaker 4: But the common from hand only and non token characters,
- 36:21Speaker 4: they're rare from anywhere and non token characters, and I
- 36:25Speaker 4: think that's pretty pretty good balance from my brain at least.
- 36:30Speaker 4: But the designers have a better design brain than I do.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Let's move. Let's move into the next thing that brought
- 36:39Speaker 2: a smile to my face. Haven Bravospacs Bravos Bastion Axiom
- 36:45Speaker 2: Rare suspended suck it axiom. Anyways, the axiom version of
- 36:54Speaker 2: Haven Bravos Bastion is probably the best rare card and
- 36:58Speaker 2: beyond the gates. It's been played a lot in traced
- 37:02Speaker 2: and Subash Subash decks and even in some Sierra decks
- 37:08Speaker 2: since it's been revealed, and to great success. While it
- 37:13Speaker 2: is an astonishing sixty three percent win rate, when you
- 37:17Speaker 2: draw the card it shows up at it shows a
- 37:20Speaker 2: forty nine percent when you don't, which leads to the
- 37:24Speaker 2: feeling of randomness when playing against Haven decks. If your
- 37:28Speaker 2: opponent has it, you may just lose fourteen percent win rate,
- 37:33Speaker 2: which can feel bad, especially if it shows up in
- 37:35Speaker 2: the early days of the game. I believe we've talked
- 37:39Speaker 2: about this with Haven, how it's like, if you get it,
- 37:43Speaker 2: you win. If you don't, you lose. The combination of
- 37:47Speaker 2: low cost resupply adding it, and long term advantage in
- 37:51Speaker 2: the game all those in a faction with an abundance
- 37:55Speaker 2: of one cost cards from the reserve make it a
- 37:57Speaker 2: little too much for the axiom Rare Bastion Aban Bravos
- 38:01Speaker 2: Bastion is a very powerful strategic card, which means its
- 38:05Speaker 2: power level may only grow over time. This means rotting
- 38:10Speaker 2: It is a challenging task because we need to find
- 38:15Speaker 2: the proper power level that won't become too good after
- 38:18Speaker 2: a few sets. Simply removing the resuppliability and the card
- 38:22Speaker 2: might prove still too good eventually, and we want to
- 38:25Speaker 2: be certain of the actions we take. In addition, upping
- 38:29Speaker 2: its manecost to the three may buff the card in
- 38:33Speaker 2: the Sierra Dex, resulting in extensive testing for us on
- 38:37Speaker 2: a various versions of the card. While the Bravos version
- 38:41Speaker 2: also has these elements, it doesn't prove to be an
- 38:44Speaker 2: issue because it isn't featured in a faction with cards
- 38:48Speaker 2: cheaper from the reserve and a lot of resupply. Its
- 38:52Speaker 2: data doesn't show any warning on our side, and feedback
- 38:56Speaker 2: from players doesn't indicate that we should take action on
- 39:00Speaker 2: it anytime soon. For now, we have found a satisfying
- 39:04Speaker 2: we haven't found the satisfying around them, and we'll keep
- 39:07Speaker 2: investigating slash testing various solution. As a result, we've decided
- 39:11Speaker 2: to suspend the axiom Rare Haven Bravo Sebastian.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Yeah, this one is one I will say. I honestly
- 39:21Speaker 4: have no clue how to better balance this. I think
- 39:25Speaker 4: removing the resupply doesn't really do enough, and as they've mentioned,
- 39:30Speaker 4: you can't really just up the mane cost. Sierra is
- 39:34Speaker 4: already getting kind of scary in Trial by Frost, which
- 39:37Speaker 4: would just make her even scarier. And yeah, it's just
- 39:42Speaker 4: way too cheap for way too much, and it's it's tough.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I'm sure lots of people have lots of ideas on
- 39:52Speaker 4: what they think would be better, but I wouldn't be
- 39:55Speaker 4: surprised if the rata on this comes out and is
- 39:59Speaker 4: some thing almost nobody thought about, because that's kind of
- 40:03Speaker 4: how Robinhood turned out, is what the game designers came
- 40:07Speaker 4: up with was not what the you know, common public,
- 40:11Speaker 4: uh came up with themselves.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I definitely think this needed to be suspended.
- 40:18Speaker 1: The whole roulette thing. If you draw it, it's great.
- 40:20Speaker 1: If you don't draw it, you lose. I think a
- 40:23Speaker 1: possible erna could be like two from hand, three from reserves,
- 40:27Speaker 1: so you don't get the Sierra to be better, but
- 40:29Speaker 1: it does cost more if it goes into the reserve
- 40:32Speaker 1: no resupply. And then I saw someone else put a
- 40:35Speaker 1: suggestion somewhere of like a maximum amount of boosts that
- 40:39Speaker 1: you can get is like five, so when you play it,
- 40:42Speaker 1: you put five counters on it, and then whenever you
- 40:44Speaker 1: play a card from reserve, it gets a boost and
- 40:46Speaker 1: you take a counter off. So the maximum amount of
- 40:49Speaker 1: like bonus stats you can get that about.
- 40:52Speaker 2: For three is that forever, like you get five, and
- 40:56Speaker 2: that's once it's out of counters, it's it's it's it's done.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Yep.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Yeah, So they that person actually posted in our discord
- 41:07Speaker 4: as well the suggestion people are bringing up, so it's
- 41:12Speaker 4: actually Anthony or on BGA, it's Yo, and Yo is
- 41:18Speaker 4: actually a very good player, so that's they kind of
- 41:22Speaker 4: put together a suggestion in line with that. One of
- 41:26Speaker 4: the things I just thought about is they could change
- 41:31Speaker 4: it to a gear, keep it the.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Exact same and then once you only get it for
- 41:38Speaker 2: the Yeah, that's actually not a terrible idea. Yeah, because
- 41:42Speaker 2: once once you move forward, it goes, well, then it goes.
- 41:46Speaker 2: But I think you would still have to do what
- 41:49Speaker 2: Dexter's saying and put it because it would go into
- 41:53Speaker 2: your or do you give it no? Do you give
- 41:55Speaker 2: it fleeting then?
- 41:59Speaker 4: Or you And there is our our colaanno milk. But
- 42:04Speaker 4: the milk gives everything that enters fleeting, right, this would
- 42:10Speaker 4: not give anything fleeting, and it would have the resupply.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I think you also have to up the resupply cost.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, not the resupply cost, the firm reserve cost.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Yeah. So I think it would still be easily the
- 42:25Speaker 4: strongest gear, but it would still not be as strong
- 42:29Speaker 4: as it is now. Is a doom bringer calling me
- 42:32Speaker 4: out here? I like how you said, I just had
- 42:33Speaker 4: an idea and came up with the same thought at
- 42:36Speaker 4: the same time. What what are you.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Talking about stealing people's ideas?
- 42:41Speaker 4: Whose idea?
- 42:42Speaker 1: I think he's talking about me. I stole the other
- 42:45Speaker 1: person's idea. I was I was bad at work. I
- 42:47Speaker 1: took the idea for recognize that it was not my idea.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Shout out to you. Yeah, I think the resupply or
- 42:56Speaker 4: the reserve cost thing might might work out as well,
- 43:00Speaker 4: and maybe removing the resupply because one of the reasons
- 43:05Speaker 4: that the resupply from anywhere is so strong is it
- 43:09Speaker 4: is kind of ridiculous. How often you'll see a traced
- 43:15Speaker 4: or someone that runs this play it and resupply right
- 43:19Speaker 4: into their second one and then you're just like, fuck.
- 43:25Speaker 2: So make resupply costs more. And what was the other
- 43:30Speaker 2: what was another portion of that? Oh, make it into
- 43:33Speaker 2: a gear. I don't know how you make it into
- 43:36Speaker 2: a gear. It's a little not thematic, but I guess
- 43:41Speaker 2: if it makes the world go around, it's works in
- 43:45Speaker 2: the end.
- 43:46Speaker 4: I think it makes it interesting and it fits in
- 43:49Speaker 4: the new meta because, for an example, how people will
- 43:55Speaker 4: play like the eat Me energy bars is they'll put
- 43:59Speaker 4: it in the expedition they know isn't going to move forward. Well,
- 44:06Speaker 4: it'll help them win on the other expedition, so it
- 44:09Speaker 4: stays around longer. So it being a gear kind of
- 44:16Speaker 4: makes it interesting mechanically. I would not be surprised if
- 44:22Speaker 4: they definitely don't want to add it to the gear
- 44:25Speaker 4: realm fair enough.
- 44:29Speaker 2: I mean, I guess maybe they don't call it a gear,
- 44:31Speaker 2: but they can say once once your expedition moves destroy Haven, Bravos,
- 44:39Speaker 2: bast and destroy me. Yeah.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I means, as Yo put together, counters would not be
- 44:47Speaker 4: too bad and it would be thematic to axiom, So
- 44:52Speaker 4: that's not a terrible idea either.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Still tired, you need cards? You Neque cards are designed
- 44:59Speaker 2: to be an unexpect and surprise to players, but sometimes
- 45:02Speaker 2: they could also create unexpected issues to the game designers.
- 45:06Speaker 2: As we work on new sets, we consistently we're consistently
- 45:10Speaker 2: we're finding a unique card generation algorithm, and we expect
- 45:14Speaker 2: the need for balance changes to decrease over time. We
- 45:18Speaker 2: love uniques as part of altered gameplay, but we don't
- 45:21Speaker 2: want the game to be dominated by them like it
- 45:25Speaker 2: is right now. Right now, some powerful outliers may give
- 45:29Speaker 2: the impression, may give that impression in some cases, the
- 45:33Speaker 2: solutions will be to suspend a specific type of effect
- 45:37Speaker 2: that appears across many unique cards, while others it will
- 45:41Speaker 2: involve suspending certain versions from specific families the following unique
- 45:47Speaker 2: cards which emerging which emerge during Beyond the Gates. We're
- 45:53Speaker 2: fine within the metagame. However, we realized that they could
- 45:57Speaker 2: become problematic in Trials by Frost, and we want to
- 46:00Speaker 2: address these issues before they arise. So first up, we
- 46:05Speaker 2: got the moon Lit Jet or Moonlight Jellyfish, all uniques,
- 46:11Speaker 2: all factions suspended.
- 46:15Speaker 4: Yeah, so this this one is is really awesome because people,
- 46:20Speaker 4: of course are upset about a bunch of these because
- 46:23Speaker 4: they're uniques and they don't want to not play with
- 46:26Speaker 4: their uniques. And then a couple few other people will
- 46:30Speaker 4: complain that they just spent eight hundred dollars on a
- 46:33Speaker 4: unique and they can't play it. But the best reaction
- 46:38Speaker 4: I saw is someone recently got the Moonlight Jellyfish tattooed
- 46:44Speaker 4: on them and they're like, no, I just got the
- 46:47Speaker 4: Jellyfish tattooed, and now I can't play with it.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Now you're suspended.
- 46:52Speaker 1: But they were actually so sad.
- 46:55Speaker 4: Yeah, they were actually the least upset person. Ever, they
- 46:59Speaker 4: were like obviously joking the tattoos. The tattoos fucking cool.
- 47:05Speaker 4: But the thing with uniques that people it's it's a
- 47:12Speaker 4: hard thing to understand because people sought them out and
- 47:16Speaker 4: bought them because of the fact that they are basically busted.
- 47:22Speaker 4: These jellyfish. A lot of people don't know, but it
- 47:27Speaker 4: was the I think it was the first ludo trotter
- 47:31Speaker 4: because that's still up on thirty nine cards. While I
- 47:35Speaker 4: while I look for this, I also want to say,
- 47:38Speaker 4: super awesome website design for this article. If you click
- 47:44Speaker 4: on the Haven Bravos fashion you can access the details
- 47:48Speaker 4: of the cards right from the article. Uh so that
- 47:52Speaker 4: was very nice. What is it, Skykryer? Those are spindle harvesters. Anyways,
- 47:59Speaker 4: there was us someone who got these jellyfish and in
- 48:05Speaker 4: a thousand person tournament they were in the top ten
- 48:11Speaker 4: and it was causing a ton of problems because they
- 48:14Speaker 4: are infinite. So these jellyfish are the reason the one
- 48:21Speaker 4: hundred action cap was put into the rules. So knowing
- 48:26Speaker 4: all of that, I don't understand how people couldn't see
- 48:30Speaker 4: that it was gonna get hit with a chain.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Something was gonna get hit. Yeah, the moon that jellyfish,
- 48:35Speaker 2: with their ability to lose fleeting when sacrifice, can lead
- 48:37Speaker 2: to strange inneractions when players can loop two of them together,
- 48:41Speaker 2: generating a massive advantage with minimal cost. For example, a
- 48:46Speaker 2: player can loop them for just one man at each
- 48:49Speaker 2: time while simultaneously boosting a mow for two every time
- 48:55Speaker 2: even without the loop. These jellyfish have proven to be
- 48:57Speaker 2: powerful enough that we felt action was necessary. Issue becomes
- 49:02Speaker 2: even more problematic when we consider that some jellyfish can
- 49:05Speaker 2: return themselves to hand Due to the complex effects, adding
- 49:10Speaker 2: layer is an interaction that we can't always anticipate. These
- 49:14Speaker 2: kinds of rules interactions, while fascinating, introduce a level of
- 49:17Speaker 2: complexity that's not ideal for the maintaining balance and clarity
- 49:21Speaker 2: in the game. While we initially try to pinpoint and
- 49:24Speaker 2: suspend only the specific jellyfish causing the issue, we realize
- 49:29Speaker 2: that the problem runs deeper and involves interactions that are
- 49:33Speaker 2: difficult to address in isolation. If we only suspend certain versions,
- 49:38Speaker 2: players will likely find the broken jellyfish we've missed exploiting them,
- 49:43Speaker 2: and then we had to suspend those as well, creating
- 49:46Speaker 2: a cycle that we don't want to continue. To avoid
- 49:48Speaker 2: this we've decided to suspend all Moonlight jellyfish. We have
- 49:53Speaker 2: not yet found a satisfying a rottom for the jellyfish.
- 49:55Speaker 2: We are continuing to test and explore potential solutions. For now,
- 49:59Speaker 2: suspending all of is the most straightforward way to address
- 50:02Speaker 2: the issue.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I don't know why they did it for Axiom too.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I haven't seen any Axiom dudes that could really benefit
- 50:11Speaker 1: from infinite jellyfish because there's nothing to boost, right.
- 50:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. I couldn't answer specifically on that. Besides,
- 50:23Speaker 4: maybe it's just a text issue, like robin Hood. A
- 50:28Speaker 4: lot of people forget that. Another major reason that robin
- 50:32Speaker 4: Hood was eroted is because the text that existed. So
- 50:39Speaker 4: maybe it's because of that, and they're just going to
- 50:43Speaker 4: when they do the change, it's going to affect ones.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Maybe they worded a little different and not necessarily the
- 50:51Speaker 4: fact that they were as crazy as the yzmir ones.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Well, there goes my whole idea. I was on building
- 51:01Speaker 2: knack Eye, thanks man. Anyway, it's foundry armor, all uniques
- 51:07Speaker 2: Bravos only. So some of the Bravos unique foundry armors
- 51:15Speaker 2: featured the ability of generating a brass bug whenever you
- 51:18Speaker 2: gained a boost. The community quickly identified these uniques as
- 51:22Speaker 2: some of the most powerful things Bravos could do and
- 51:25Speaker 2: beyond the gates. Unfortunately, the trial by frost coming out
- 51:29Speaker 2: these cards may get out of control, generating an infinite
- 51:32Speaker 2: number of brass sprugs very easily with the print of
- 51:37Speaker 2: boost generators like our coll Oh my goodness, I hate
- 51:42Speaker 2: this card are colan, no milk? Thank you. Everyone can
- 51:50Speaker 2: now make fun of me. Go ahead, go ahead, make
- 51:52Speaker 2: fun of me. Not a soul huh wow, Okay, I'm
- 51:59Speaker 2: just gonna continue then, and Bravos rare yetti. As a
- 52:02Speaker 2: rule of thumb, we like to We like that combos
- 52:05Speaker 2: can exist an alter but we want them to require
- 52:08Speaker 2: some setup and assemble a common and unique card doesn't
- 52:12Speaker 2: feel difficult enough. Unlike the Moonlight Jellyfish, we are able
- 52:17Speaker 2: to identify specifically the uniques we would need to target
- 52:20Speaker 2: for the erotum, but due to the unforementioned weight for
- 52:25Speaker 2: digital patch, we have chosen to simply simplify the understanding
- 52:29Speaker 2: of the decision. In the meantime, there post Bravos Foundry
- 52:32Speaker 2: Armor uniques are suspended for now without the Bravos cards
- 52:36Speaker 2: that enable those easy boost setups axiom unique boundary armorers
- 52:42Speaker 2: do not currently cause an issue and remain playable.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I just realized the one they put here was French.
- 52:50Speaker 2: I yeah, yeah, pretty quickly.
- 52:52Speaker 4: Yeah, this is just another one that people found a
- 52:57Speaker 4: way to make it so they were creating one hundred
- 53:03Speaker 4: grass bugs and it's I mean, yes, it's too strong,
- 53:09Speaker 4: and that is that should be a good enough reason.
- 53:12Speaker 4: But also you're breaking things like you could probably break BGA.
- 53:16Speaker 4: You're ruining a tournament, like all sorts of stuff. Mm hmm.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Like I told everyone on our cons corner earlier, you
- 53:28Speaker 2: can concede at anytime.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Well, on BGA you have to be over fifty percent.
- 53:35Speaker 2: But yeah, wow, maybe not on BGA.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Maybe I counced at anytime you can tournaments you're never
- 53:44Speaker 1: allowed to concede.
- 53:45Speaker 2: That's awful, that's not true, all right, So let's go
- 53:49Speaker 2: in to Garrick Revere duellists, all uniques, all factions suspended,
- 53:56Speaker 2: very quickly spotted by you, our community. This trial by
- 53:59Speaker 2: Frost comes with his own issues up to the point
- 54:03Speaker 2: where some of them even infinitely comba with themselves. This
- 54:08Speaker 2: is obviously not something that should belong and altered in
- 54:11Speaker 2: such a state. Of power level, and we believe it
- 54:13Speaker 2: needed to be addressed right now before the season really
- 54:17Speaker 2: starts and people invest in the chase. Hammering all unique
- 54:21Speaker 2: garricks from the start is a way to prevent any
- 54:23Speaker 2: yet unseen issues from getting out of control too quickly
- 54:27Speaker 2: while we investigate potential solutions. How does he boot? How
- 54:31Speaker 2: does he do it by himself? Let's see if you
- 54:34Speaker 2: would gain fleeting I gain a boost instead.
- 54:39Speaker 1: A character. You can have a character gain fleeting fleeting
- 54:43Speaker 1: boost fleeting fleeting boost.
- 54:44Speaker 2: You may have target character gain fleeting. Got it? Yeah,
- 54:48Speaker 2: the opportunities would be a problem.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Yeah, so this is hilarious because it took I mean,
- 54:55Speaker 4: I guess, yeah I should I guess I shouldn't get annoyed.
- 55:00Speaker 4: But as I've mentioned before, I spend way too much
- 55:03Speaker 4: time on the discord. So if you do that, and
- 55:08Speaker 4: you saw this card posted in eight different channels throughout
- 55:12Speaker 4: the same day, and it's not like it was two
- 55:16Speaker 4: different cards, it was the exact same card, And after
- 55:22Speaker 4: the seventh time, I'm like, yes, we know they're already
- 55:26Speaker 4: looking at it. Please stop posting it. Well, I mean
- 55:34Speaker 4: I thought it nerves or sorry, suspended for now until
- 55:38Speaker 4: they change it. This one, This one should be pretty
- 55:41Speaker 4: easy to change, but once again, the digital aspect BGA.
- 55:47Speaker 4: And then I think just seeing what other ones might
- 55:52Speaker 4: pop up, but this one is just we don't want. Technically,
- 55:56Speaker 4: all of these are actually just stopping an infinite loop.
- 56:00Speaker 4: So now that I'm reading them all through and putting
- 56:05Speaker 4: them all together, it's just really hard to see how
- 56:09Speaker 4: people can't understand why they need to be changed.
- 56:14Speaker 2: I mean, this one didn't take me very long, and
- 56:15Speaker 2: I'm not the smartest, So I mean, isn't it easy
- 56:22Speaker 2: enough to just add other Well, I guess you could
- 56:24Speaker 2: just tire you If you have two of them, you
- 56:26Speaker 2: can just take it.
- 56:26Speaker 1: If you have two of them, yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 2: They can target each other.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Target character not named Garritt does that. That could probably work,
- 56:35Speaker 1: but I don't know. That would be a weird thing
- 56:36Speaker 1: that we haven't seen put on cards yet.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Self referential texts, Yeah, that could be a little strange,
- 56:43Speaker 2: all right. Player Compensation has stated in the article addressing
- 56:47Speaker 2: the Irodom of robin Hood we are still working on
- 56:50Speaker 2: the compensation system and will update the community as soon
- 56:52Speaker 2: as possible about it. Any solutions we come to will
- 56:56Speaker 2: of course be retroactive. Our number one goal remains to
- 57:01Speaker 2: remains for us to develop the game you want to play.
- 57:04Speaker 2: By implementing these changes and suggesting regular updates where you,
- 57:08Speaker 2: the players community, can communicate about the state of the
- 57:11Speaker 2: game and what you'd like to see, we hope to
- 57:15Speaker 2: foster a space where you can feel part of the adventure,
- 57:18Speaker 2: and as always, your feedback helps us grow. I would
- 57:24Speaker 2: like more lore about match Girl please.
- 57:30Speaker 4: Uh so you were you were talking about articles earlier
- 57:34Speaker 4: and Keyfarge. Does Keyfarde do like three total articles in
- 57:40Speaker 4: a month or do they they only do like three updates?
- 57:45Speaker 2: You're You're cute. It is very, very very It's sporadic. Yeah,
- 58:00Speaker 2: that and that's really the only way I can say it.
- 58:05Speaker 2: We have our so our big events and key Forge
- 58:08Speaker 2: are vault tours, right. We all apply out to these
- 58:12Speaker 2: places and we get ready for vaults, and then by
- 58:18Speaker 2: placing high end vaults, you're able to then get your
- 58:21Speaker 2: ticket to the World Championships, where you're then able to play.
- 58:27Speaker 2: There is a format in key Forge called Alliance where
- 58:32Speaker 2: you're because typically are not allowed to change your decks.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Like you buy your deck and that's your deck. You
- 58:36Speaker 2: can't change it. There's a there is a format that
- 58:44Speaker 2: allows you to take decks apart and build one deck
- 58:52Speaker 2: and there is a band. Yeah, there's a ban and
- 58:55Speaker 2: restricted list, right, so you're not allowed to have this
- 58:58Speaker 2: card with this card in this car with this card
- 59:00Speaker 2: because it creates absolute and utter it has the ability
- 59:05Speaker 2: to create absolute and utter chaos. They so they gave
- 59:10Speaker 2: us the list of vaults and now have just given
- 59:14Speaker 2: us the updated rule books for what's going on in
- 59:18Speaker 2: the future and like what those what those decks or
- 59:24Speaker 2: what that that list is. So you got to remember,
- 59:28Speaker 2: like our first vault is coming up in April. You
- 59:33Speaker 2: need to start like getting your ideas of like what
- 59:36Speaker 2: my deck's going to look like because some of these decks,
- 59:40Speaker 2: like remember, everyone is unique, so if your eyeball in
- 59:43Speaker 2: one like that made deck, that deck might be in
- 59:45Speaker 2: France and it takes time to get from France to you,
- 59:51Speaker 2: and it just creates kind of chaos when you're trying
- 59:55Speaker 2: to do this. I mean the last Bannon restricted list
- 59:58Speaker 2: from KeyForge U had a lot of people quit the
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: game because they're decks that they had spent months testing
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: and getting ready for then got some of the cards
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: got put on this list, and some people spent a
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: lot of money building these decks together. So just to
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: give you an idea, I'm going into q forges of
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: news article. So for the month of January, we got
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: an article on the thirty first, the sixteenth, and the nineteenth.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Before that, Crickets we got an article December nineteenth, December tenth,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: December third, So it looks like they're averaging around three
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: articles a month. Some articles are kind of useless.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: If those were kickstarter articles.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Um separate, yeah, they those they keep separate. Well, the
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Prophetic Visions that was a Kickstarter thing, like but like
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: meet the Skyborn, right, that's like that was like the
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: new faction for this previous set.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: That was like the lowre thing.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Nothing really comes out of it. That's more of just
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: a like hey, check out these cards that are in
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Skyborne cool, right, like and that's it, right, and then like, oh,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: we're going to release and then they have like release articles,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: which is dumb because like, we've already had a game found,
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: so they're like, oh, we did a game found and
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: everybody has their product. Oh, now we're going to release
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: the set and everyone's like, we don't care, right, we
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: already have our ship from the game found. We don't
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: need any more. It's it's just weird. I mean, I'm
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: reading this and when they're saying, hey, we want to
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: have like like you can expect a certain amount of time,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: like two months after release, expect an article talking about
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: changes that are going to happen. Right like two months
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: they feel is like enough time that they can get,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: you know, things sorted out, to see the good, the bad,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: and the ugly and make changes where appropriate. Yeah, wau
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: took six months, but whatever. Sometimes better late than never,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I suppose, right, changing a.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Hero like a lot better.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Changing a hero is like you have to kind of
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: really really like be careful with that. I mean you
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: did take a A plus tier hero and now kind
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: of move him into the B category.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: So so all all of that explanation and talk just
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: for me to respond with. Altered has posted seventeen articles
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: this month.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I literally it's like one every other.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Day, and one of them is about me.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I was gonna say, she just about to say that
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: if you would like to know more about Cole Robbie,
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: he had an article released about him. It has the
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: same picture he has here on Discord. You can go.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: I find it funny that the did you even mention
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: that you're on a podcast.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: Or no, I'm not really a self promoter type person.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Come on, man, you're not going to pimp you who
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: is the people? I'm the same, I'm not good at
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: pimping myself.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I did kind of mention, but just
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: lose a little bit. But Shadow Drake had a good
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: question about this, mentions curious to hear thoughts on the
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: at dusk return of spell in reserve to hand ability
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: being untouched. So my quick reaction is, I don't think
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: it caused as many problems as these brass Bug and
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: Jellyfish uniques, or at least not at the high level
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: that these did.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: And then I don't think we've seen it yet.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think there's enough of them out there yet.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: I think there's a little bit of variety, which also
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: might make it really hard to fix the variety in them.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: But I will say I would not be surprised if
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: the next update is somewhat tailored towards something like that
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: and the Funnest, because.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I would absolutely agree now that is changed.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: I wholehearedly think a Funas has the best hero ability
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: in the whole game.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think the non unique changes were a
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: little bit preemptive, and then the unique changes were pretty
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: much like, if there's an infinite combo, we're gonna suspend
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: that for now and then try to make it so
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: it's not infinite. And since the spindles aren't infinite and
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: that they haven't caused too many problems at the high
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: level competitive play yet, they haven't taken that away. But
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I think in later patches we will either see something
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: to a Fonness's hero ability or a suspension of the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Spindle Harvester uniques, or I don't know, some other.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Can we make some of these shit heroes better?
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that is another interesting thing. I think the heroes
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: that might not be fixed with more cards. I mean,
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: maybe it's actually only one, and I think I think
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: it might just be Bassira. I would be happy with
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: a little bit of an ar ROC change. And this
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: is kind of getting off to the side, but I
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: suggested something I think in a YouTube video I have
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: coming out where to make ROC better. If you have
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: five counters, it goes off at dusk. And when I
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: first thought about it, I was like, well, that would
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: kind of suck because then you know you're playing if
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: it's a character. You're playing it right at the end
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: and then it just goes away. But the more I
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: thought about it, I was like, you know what, that
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: would actually be really cool and it's still highly risky,
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: but it's way better than doing it at noon. So
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know if they'll ever get buffs,
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: but I think Bassira and Roc are probably one on.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Saudi with the new set is actually looking pretty dangerous.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: L e O in the discord went undefeated. I'm pretty
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: sure on Thursday with his Saudi deck he'll have a
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: video coming out on it in the next couple of weeks.
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: It's just Amrok triggering turn one. Yeah, that's strong.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Yeah, getting car drone is good.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Yeah our June, Yeah, our June. I kind of just forgot,
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I think it's unlikely that we see heroes get buffs,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: and that later sets they'll just keep adding more stuff
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: to help the other weaker heroes, and they will suspend
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: or change stuff that are too good to help them.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Meta stay healthy.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Ye do you do you want me to give you
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: a rundown of the fire in the discord the last
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: forty eight hours, Wookie, are we or.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Moving, Yeah, not like, can we can do the fire
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: of the discord? I've I am not. I I don't
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: run the Altered Corner Discord as much or am I
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: in there as much as I really should be.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: Oh, our discord Our discord was totally fine and the
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: conversation was really good. Even if people think I'm crazy.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: Our discord fine.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I also run the Archives Corner Discord, and I don't
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: pay attention to what's going on in there either, So.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll just try to speak to kind of the
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: public reaction as quickly as possible. The one thing I
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: will say is I fully believe that a lot of
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: it is the vocal minority, where the people just come
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: to complain and they're the loudest while everyone else in
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: the audience is like, hell yeah, I fucking love this change.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Kind of how lucky reacted everyone at my local it
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: was no issue at all. Everyone was happy. Wasn't any issue.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: There are a handful of people in the main Alter
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: Discord that I only see when they enter to cause problem.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: There, trying to argue and complain and cause flights. That's
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: the only time they pop.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Up exactly, and then they're never in there. Movie comes out,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: So there was a lot of they should have communicated
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: this sooner, they should have done this later. They the
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: timing of this was terrible. So the general complaint that
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: I would say the most reasonable people have is the
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: timing of it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: I'm of the camp what okay?
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean I think you're going to agree
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: with me?
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I am. Why is the timing bad?
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: I don't know. Every time they do a change, there's
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: some really big tournament in Italy?
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Is there a tournament going on soon?
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Is it? I ask?
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: It's just what happens.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: But the thing is, but is that what's happening now?
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Supposedly but supposedly what is it? The best cap secret
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: and altered? Like what?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I guess?
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: So people that show up because they're the only nine
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: who know about it, what's the deal?
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: What?
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Yeah? So another reason you're having a conundrum with this
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: is because it is not a problem that you can
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: solve because one group is saying it was too early,
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: too quick, and the other group is going to say
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: it was too fast and or it was too late.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: I just said the same thing twice, or it was
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: too late, Like I had people saying you should have
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: done it before the card come out came out, and
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: then there's people that said, the card's not even out yet,
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: why would you do that? So I don't think you
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: can win on timing. Their article points out that they
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: want things to be more seamless with future changes, but
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: because of work on the market and all of that,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: it's a little harder. Right now. I think there's like
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: fifteen people total working on this game. The other thing
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: is people just really upset that they spent thousands of
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: dollars on cards and they've bought ten thousand dollars worth
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: of altered and this is going to turn people away
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: that spend a lot of money, so they're going to
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: quit the game and the game is going to die.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: And I'm a friggin commie asshole, so I don't sympathize
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: with those people.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: And I'm not at all. I think if you have
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the money to spend, and you're spending that kind of money,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you can't complain when something that happens that was very
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: likely to happen, and you could have probably predicted that
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: was going to happen, like we saw the robin Hood
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that happened, and then you knew that it was likely
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that uniques were gonna get banned or suspended again, and
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: they still paid a whole bunch of money, and they
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: have the money to spend. It's your own fault, guys.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Now, some of the things like WAU getting changed, I
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: did not see that coming in a millionaires.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Yeah, and then there are people that only want to
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: play Warrio and that's all they play, and now they're
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: kind of upset, which is which is fine.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: Which is me.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: But I'm just gonna play a different hero anyway.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I like I er if you didn't see that coming,
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I can't help you there. The only one that really like,
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I don't know how it happens, but I'm sure someone
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: will explain it to me eventually was the Foundry Armor,
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Moonlight Jellyfish. Once I saw this, I'm like, yeah, that's
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: that could be a problem.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I will say, Like, like I mentioned earlier, people
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: tried to do polls to see if people were really upset.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Every time it was like eighty percent positive. So they
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: kind of shut themselves in the foot. What else was
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: I gonna say? Oh yeah, the whole money thing. I
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: kind of maybe got in myself in trouble a little bit.
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: There's like an organizer like event type area of the discord,
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: and someone there was pretty upset and the whole purpose
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: of it is to grow the game in the United
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: States basically, and to work together and do that. And
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: they wrote this huge, long complaint and they're kind of
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: the person that talks about how much money they spent,
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: and so I was like, if you're talking to me personally,
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: I'm sorry, that's not gonna win you my personal sympathy.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Like not talking for anyone else, I'm just telling you
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: don't go at that angle towards me. And then they said,
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: I want this game to grow, so I sell my
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: rares really cheap at twenty five cents each so that
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: more people can have the cards. And I responded, I
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: sell my rares for zero dollars in zero cents very
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: often if I have extra, so that people can play,
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: and the they got very pissed, and they kept doubling
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: down about how they should not feel bad about spending
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: their money and it's their hobby and you know, their opinion,
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: and I was like, I never said you can't have
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: your opinion, that's fine. You just sound really smug when
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: that's how you approach it. They did not like that.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: So if I disappear, it's because I made someone who's
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: a quote whale really upset.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: I don't think anybody in the US is keeping this
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: company afloat by any means the stretch of the imagination.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: So just remember, like I tell my kids, uh, you
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: gotta roll with the punches. You're allowed. You're allowed to
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: have your feelings. This is gonna make me sound like
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: an answer. You're allowed to have your feelings, but your
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: feelings don't matter.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: But the world, the world that does not care about
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: your feelings.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm definitely the person that's always going to care
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: for the greater good. I'm not going to worry about
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: what is best for me and me alone, and some
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: people won't agree with that, which is fine. But I
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: also don't like when people say things in such like
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: definitive extremes like this is going to kill the game,
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: this is the end, this is the downfall. I'm just like, WHOA,
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: chill there. I'm perfectly happy, honestly sitting here. So I'm
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: still playing.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Well, the biggest thing I think I talked So there
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: is a gentleman. He runs a game store called Getty Games.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: And his name is Vince. He's a lawyer. He does
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: a lot in the Pokemon community. And I remember when
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: we were doing key Forge, he was going to start
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: doing the organized play for key Forge. Really good guy.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Him and his wife had a long talk because he's
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: been into a lot of different card games too, just
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: like I have. And he's always said that the health
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: of the game is the most important thing, and that
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: if you can make it past set three, you're in
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: one of the best situations that that a card game
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: could ever be in. And it sounds like we're going
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: to make it past set three.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: So I mean that was not true about Star Wars
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: at all. Said three was basically the death of it.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Well, if you can make it past set three, okay, right,
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: you gotta make it. You got to make it past
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: set three and still be doing well? Is Star Wars
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: and doing pretty sure? Right now? Is that the deal.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: For it is not good doing as good as it
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: should be. But that's you know, Asthma Day, our favorite
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: company for the most part. But in uh In, in
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: regards to all of that and all of the you know,
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: fire in the main discord, there was also a handful
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: of people that came back the next.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no, no no no. Creator reacted Sorry,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: hold on, no creative chaos. I don't think Vince is
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: jumping in and altered. I was just say I was
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: giving some what do you call that, some wisdom that
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: was passed to be along to everyone else. So calm down.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: But I think it's overall good. Yeah. I was just
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: gonna say, I think the community as a whole, it's
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: overall good. The only thing I saw that of a
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: good amount of reasonable people wanted to be better was
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: the timing and the communication. What people want is they
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: want Altered to say, hey, we're watching these four cards,
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: so watch out because we're probably going to suspend them
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: in the next two weeks or three weeks. I think
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: what people fail to realize is that just creates this
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: cycle for those three weeks. But maybe I'm wrong.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Only time will tell, right, and we'll have to we
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: will have to keep an eye on it. Let's get
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: into Patreon questions. Pretty much every week except for the
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: last two, we've been taking some of the questions you
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: guys have been posting on our Patreon, and this week's
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: questions come from Draconis. So what is a needed feature
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: and Pie in the Sky feature each one of you
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: thinks Altered should have in the future that is not
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: a known implementation.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Like a feature on BGA. I'm just just thinking as
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: a game.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I think just in general, like.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Pie in the Sky, Marketplace is going to be great. Yeah,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: that's coming up.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: But that's known.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: Wow, this is actually kind of a tough one. I
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: should have read this one beforehand. A needed feature and
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: a Pie in the Sky feature. Each one of you think, oh, okay,
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Pie in the Sky, right. I do think we kind
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: of talked about this and this is truly truly Pie
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: in the Sky that after set three I would have
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: said before this set. But each set they need to
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: take a good long look at each one of the
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: heroes because this is one of the things that drives
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: me nuts about hero based and like faction based games,
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: saw it a lot in Flesh and Blood, there's always
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: some heroes that just they see no love and if
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: you want to be competitive, you just can't play them.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Do some sort of tweak or re balancing to make
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: each hero somewhat viable in the current meta. Pie in
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: the Sky, that's true, honest to goodness, Pie in the
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Sky it goes against everything they talked about in this
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: most recent article, because you're literally going to be a
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: rotting heroes on like a setly basis. But Pie in
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: the Sky literally just balancing heroes so that each hero
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: could possibly have its own build that is somewhat viable
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: and competitive in the marketplace.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Can I steal an idea from someone else? Again at
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: locals that I actually really like, I don't see why not.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: They said that, you know that there's a slot for
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: hero and I mean, that's what's kind of useless after
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: you have all the heroes. But sure we can keep
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the loot for heroes and then then in the slot
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: for like boilers and tokens and a whole bunch of
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: cards that are generally useless. Give like a probability that
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: you can add a new card that is just a
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: unique reroll, and you can apply a Unique reroll to
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: your digital Unique card. It destroys that card and creates
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: a completely new Unique that's the same card, same faction,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: but rerolls the stats, rerolls the abilities, re rolls the supportabilities.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: So if you're not happy with the Unique that you have,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: you can destroy its digital existence forever and just create
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a new one.
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: Yeah, someone mentioned that in the discord the other day.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: And while I think it is a hilarious and awesome idea,
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: I think there's.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: One to be difficult for implementation.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: I don't think the implementation is hard. I think legally
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: it won't work. Oh, it is way more gambling than
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: anything else.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: And how is opening packs not gambling? Already?
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: Listen, I don't make the laws. I'm just telling you
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: there's a lot of countries where they would.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna say opening packs in a lot of
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: countries is considered gambling to a degree. And that's why
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: you will typically don't hear Magic ever talk about the
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: secondary market. And they really don't even acknowledge it. Like
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: they won't acknowledge a secondary market because if they acknowledge
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: that the cards and the packs have money and that
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: you're basically spending a little money at the chance to
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: get a lot of money, it's just a slot machine
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: for children, and so like Magic doesn't even like they
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: won't even like they're like secondary market, these cards have value. Oh,
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: we just we just make a game for kids. We
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: don't we don't know what.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Exists. Pokemon cards exist. They don't announce the secondary market exists.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Either what psa grading never heard of her? We don't
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: know what you're talking about, Like this, this is a
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: real thing that like exists, Like this is why, like
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: they don't talk about it. Pokemon does a really good
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: job at controlling their secondary market because a lot of
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: the times, like when a card gets too pricey, you'll
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: see them like release it in a starter deck.
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: Oh and they do.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: And and the cards that have that are really really
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: pricey are always ones that and they do a good
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: job again of it because like they'll really like those
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: alt art foils and whatnot, Like there'll be a common
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: version that you're able to play with, but it's just
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: it's different. Therefore it's like special, right Pokemon. Pokemon, I've
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: said this time and time again is like the best
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: at controlling their secondary market prices. Okay, Like I remember,
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember when was it Diagius was Elion
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Palkia was like a very metastaple card, and like it
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: was getting to reach that kind of ridiculous dollar amount
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: they made uh World Championships decks and you got three
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: of them in a starter deck for like twenty dollars,
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: and like so they brought that cards costs way down.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: Now these special alt art stained glass versions still holds
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: lots lots of its value. But like the but you
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: were able to play with that card in legal tournaments,
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: you know, like I think like an s tire, like
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: a high end competitive Pokemon deck still to this day
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: is yeah, about two hundred bucks an under.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: So my answers. So there's already going to be tournament software.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: It's supposed to be built into the website. I'm I
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: promise you it's not going to come out when you
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: want it, because if you if you are in tune
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: with other TCG tournaments right now, Melee is the new
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: software that a lot are using. Everyone are a ton
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: of complaints about Melee, and I will say, from personal
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: experience judging the Dallas PQ, it deleted an entire round
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: of results for us, So be patient. Tournament software is
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: tricky and it's going to take time. But when it
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: comes out, I would love to have statistics, because I
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: love stats. I'm a stats guy. Other thing I would
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: say is I think it would be cool to have
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: alternate costume or art heroes, but I also understand that
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: that is very costly, and the game's going to have
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: to become pretty successful because Altered pays specific artists to.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Do the art, and that it already has to be
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: pretty pricey. Yes, because imagine the Common has an art,
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: and then the Rare Hazard art, and then the Unique
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: has an art. You've got like three arts for every
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: card almost.
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: But I think anything else I would want has already
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: been announced. I mean, I want a good judge program
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: that doesn't try to sell a Judge kit for one
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: hundred and thirty dollars and it sells out in ten minutes.
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: But that'll that'll come with time.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: So all right, next question, if you were a character
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: and Altered, who would you be.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Like one that already exists in the game.
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: I'm guessing I'm guessing already exists. So yeah, Dracuness says
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: in the game is also in the live audience. Shout
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: out to the live audience. Appreciate you all, it's nice
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: to have you here. Uh easy, Mine is Alo, super easy.
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: Uh you look at the card for Alo. That dude
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: is fucking chilling zipping a beverage and there's probably no
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: greater uh picture of me. I am unbothered, just chilling
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: and I love my beverages.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, this is a hard question for me. I
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: honestly really like Achilles. He doesn't do a whole lot,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: but I just like the mythology of Achilles and just
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: being a decent guy with toughness.
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: Yeah, adventurer, I'm gonna go with. Like his lore, I'm
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: gonna go with.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: So. I'm not an actual character. I'm a background character.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: I am the little snow demons.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: You're the snowman.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm the snowman demons.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: In Scotty.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Is there a unique art for Scotty. I gotta find this.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: I'm sure there is, but yeah, it may seem I
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: do host all of all the shows, but I am
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: definitely a background character. And I love creating chaos and
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: I love to play your most hated deck, which is
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: why in twenty twenty five I will be building I
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: use mere lockout deck. I don't know how it's going
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: to happen yet, but I'll find a way.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: There are six snow demons on the Unique Scottie.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: And they're so cute. Oh I guess I'm kind of
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: cute too. So yeah, so my wife tells me, Yeah,
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: I'll run with it.
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: But wonder all right.
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: I believe With that being said, I want to thank
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: everybody in the audience again tonight. I want to thank
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: my two lovely co hosts for joining me for another
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: week of Altered Corner.
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: And before we leave, we're going to talk about events
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: real quick.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, go through I'll go through it.
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: If I totally forgot about events, go for it.
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: Yeah, no worries, this will be super quick. A Wall
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: returns on Monday and Wednesday, so if this comes out
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: on Tuesday, the European time will have kicked off on
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: the Monday before, and if you're listening to this before
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: Wednesday night, you'll be able to hop into a Wall.
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: There will now be consistent streams on a Wall dedicated
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: Twitch channel, and you may or may not see me
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: there from time to time. And then Keelan Guys bi
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: Weekly is also this week on Tuesday. It usually ends
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: two to three hours before ACE, but ACE is in
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: our break period currently. And then I have worded from
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: Keelan Guy that something new and exciting will probably replace
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: the bi weekly but him and Pandy Andy are cooking
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: up something lots to look forward to on the event space.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: And always go to altered corner dot com to see
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: local events in Texas and you can yell at me
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: if I am missing any on that calendar.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: And we can always add him. Maybe who else, But
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: with that being said, we will see y'all next week
