- 1:49Speaker 3: He's got the creast down the sleether, immeculate. It is
- 1:54Speaker 3: a brand new ship. Ye, I was the one yesterday,
- 1:57Speaker 3: wasn't it? Because I also had a creast down the sleeve?
- 2:00Speaker 3: I remember, man, I can't remember. I'm just here to
- 2:03Speaker 3: do good radio.
- 2:04Speaker 4: You know. Sure I might have the odd brand new
- 2:05Speaker 4: shirt on every day, But what I don't want is
- 2:08Speaker 4: for you to make a big deal of it, because
- 2:09Speaker 4: then Jas will feel bad because his thing is having
- 2:11Speaker 4: brand news.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Well, he has got a new shirt on today, I've noticed.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, very nice. Thanks feelings. Hey Mogi, what's coming

- 3:02Speaker 3: to get to come in later on and talk about
- 3:04Speaker 3: I'm assuming Magic Ground.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be Magic Round all the way around.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I heard they've got a new tune and it's called
- 3:10Speaker 3: Magic Ground.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Boy.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Here's the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 3:18Speaker 1: Hodarky Oasis.
- 3:19Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon,
- 3:22Speaker 2: the time being twelve minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Fellers.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Tomorrow, We're off to Magic Round whoa magic ground, And
- 3:32Speaker 4: I want to be honest. Yesterday on the show, I
- 3:34Speaker 4: took the person a wee bit. I took the purse
- 3:36Speaker 4: out of something we're currently doing. And I'd just like
- 3:40Speaker 4: to apologize first of all, to you jays.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You're doing this tough bit at the moment.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Man, You're you're not vaping or having cigarettes for the
- 3:50Speaker 4: entire month of May, and I just took the purse
- 3:53Speaker 4: out of it, but going, oh, I'm not.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Going to drink any alcohol for the rest of the year,
- 3:57Speaker 3: you know.
- 3:59Speaker 4: And I started my own bit bit of a purse
- 4:01Speaker 4: take as well, I'm not deadly serious. Well no, this
- 4:06Speaker 4: is the Estumogo actually wasn't, which makes me sick to
- 4:09Speaker 4: my stomach. Yeah, And basically I was like, oh, I
- 4:11Speaker 4: won't drinking alcohol for the rest of the year. And
- 4:13Speaker 4: then you guys jokingly said fifteen thousand dollars.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Each, you know on this bit.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, easy money.
- 4:21Speaker 4: And I went home to my wife and I spoke
- 4:22Speaker 4: to her about it, and she told me off. She
- 4:23Speaker 4: was like, man, you are taking the purse out of
- 4:26Speaker 4: JC with this bit. I want you to go in
- 4:28Speaker 4: there tomorrow. I want you to cancel it and just
- 4:30Speaker 4: get right and behind her no vaping bit and just
- 4:32Speaker 4: support him. So fellas, I would just like to say,
- 4:36Speaker 4: I'm sorry about you today. I was taking the purse
- 4:39Speaker 4: and jas I will never do that again. And the
- 4:42Speaker 4: most importantly their bit is canceled.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I don't believe for one moment, Mogi, that your wife
- 4:51Speaker 2: said that at all. What do you mean because I
- 4:54Speaker 2: know how she feels about your boozing and she would
- 4:57Speaker 2: have been one hundred percent And is she wan me
- 5:00Speaker 2: last night in tears saying thank you, thank you guys
- 5:05Speaker 2: for putting them in the position you have that forty
- 5:09Speaker 2: five thousand dollars will be very very handy to us
- 5:13Speaker 2: with kiddies on the way.
- 5:15Speaker 3: You know what she said to buy another house the
- 5:19Speaker 3: other one.
- 5:20Speaker 2: And you know and the fact that old Keysy will
- 5:23Speaker 2: stop drinking will make my life so much easier. So
- 5:27Speaker 2: she was beside herself. So you're lying.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Well, I'm not lying.
- 5:30Speaker 2: You're lying.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I wouldn't come in here on this radio show and
- 5:33Speaker 4: lie to you and the New Zealand public.
- 5:36Speaker 3: That is the last thing any of us, well it's
- 5:38Speaker 3: going to do. You. You did lie, though, didn't you,
- 5:41Speaker 3: because you one way or the other. You lied because
- 5:44Speaker 3: you're saying that you're taking the purse, which means you
- 5:45Speaker 3: were lying yesterday. So you're either lying then or lying now.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on. But if a man's word,
- 5:52Speaker 3: if a member of the Big Show's word, it's not
- 5:56Speaker 3: worth the paper it's written on or the airwaves it
- 5:58Speaker 3: goes out on, then I guess nob it's worth anything.
- 6:00Speaker 3: And Jays, you might as well flash your bit as well, Kezy,
- 6:03Speaker 3: you're flashing yours. No mate, If you're flashing yours, Keezy,
- 6:07Speaker 3: I mean, what's.
- 6:07Speaker 2: The point to hang on? I'll tell you what I'm
- 6:12Speaker 2: going to do, yea. If it's just what Keys is
- 6:14Speaker 2: going to do, I'm going down the dairy, yeah, on
- 6:16Speaker 2: the corner of there, getting myself a packet of dat.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Can I just say? Can I just say?
- 6:21Speaker 6: What?
- 6:21Speaker 7: Ja?
- 6:21Speaker 3: I absolve you from any responsibility. You can back out
- 6:24Speaker 3: of it right now. If Keys is going to back
- 6:25Speaker 3: out of his bet, Jace, you can back out of yours, mate.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I'm more than willing to let bygones be bygones. I'm
- 6:31Speaker 3: furious about this, usually disappointed that you would come in
- 6:34Speaker 3: here and lie and treat us like that. Kesey, Shock
- 6:35Speaker 3: and bastard, shock and bastard. So what's it going to be? Pugs? Yeah, made,
- 6:39Speaker 3: it's pugsy. I hope you're well. Hi, do you know
- 6:42Speaker 3: how deep I am?
- 6:45Speaker 8: And with the Loan Sharks for fifteen thousand dollars, the
- 6:50Speaker 8: man you'll be My life is on the line.
- 6:52Speaker 4: You'll be able to call them and say, hey, don't
- 6:53Speaker 4: worry about its tunes and old keys was taking the
- 6:55Speaker 4: person having a bit of a laugh on the Old
- 6:56Speaker 4: Big Show.
- 6:56Speaker 3: There was a fifteen thous dollars?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Was it each?
- 7:01Speaker 9: Each?
- 7:02Speaker 3: Each? Hmmm?
- 7:06Speaker 2: No, No, I mean that's fine man, that you do it?
- 7:09Speaker 2: Can you do it? So I'll go get the darts. Oh,
- 7:12Speaker 2: it's gonna be good.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I'm not so worried about posting his legs broken.
- 7:18Speaker 4: It's just I want Jason not vape for another couple
- 7:20Speaker 4: of weeks.
- 7:21Speaker 2: So I won't vape. I'll be punching the darries.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I don't want that either, So just just okay. So
- 7:27Speaker 4: we have to either keep the bid on yeah yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 4: and I'm not allowed to drink for the rest of
- 7:30Speaker 4: the year.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah, or even just magic ground or just magic round.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll just make it magic round.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Or what about for the rest of the year.
- 7:36Speaker 4: But we say Magic rounds like a safe little spot
- 7:39Speaker 4: where nothing.
- 7:39Speaker 2: No, just magic round. If you do it for just magic.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Round, I'll bet you a hundred bucks you can't do that,
- 7:45Speaker 3: or fifteen grand to the end of the year. Fifteen
- 7:47Speaker 3: grand to the end of the year otherwise.
- 7:50Speaker 4: And if I don't, if I get drunk at Magic
- 7:52Speaker 4: Round responsibly, I'll have to give each of you fifteen
- 7:55Speaker 4: k And Jason's back on the vape. That's right, darrii'es
- 7:58Speaker 4: done deal. Okayright, I'm gonna call my bank sorry about that. Fellas.
- 8:08Speaker 4: The bits still on, Yeah, but I'm gonna fail at
- 8:10Speaker 4: this weekends.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I'll transfer each of you fifteen thousand dollars.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you. Man. I'm still getting on the darts.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Here's Pluto.

- 8:29Speaker 2: Donkey Big show. This our beautiful Thursday afternoon. Now we're
- 8:33Speaker 2: off to Brizzy tomorrow. As we keep banging on about Fellas,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and we thought it was a prudent idea to check
- 8:39Speaker 2: on the backbone that won the prize to join the
- 8:42Speaker 2: Fellas over in Brizzy. And that's how good, mate, Toddy
- 8:45Speaker 2: joins us on the phone. Now get a Todd, how's life?

- 9:09Speaker 3: I've got a question for you. How are you going
- 9:11Speaker 3: to approach these coming days? I've got the idea that
- 9:13Speaker 3: I'll just drink. I'm going to go hard Friday, sort
- 9:16Speaker 3: of resk, go a little bit easy on your Saturday there,
- 9:18Speaker 3: and then hard again on the Sunday. Is just all
- 9:20Speaker 3: three days? What's what's the going.

- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeahy? What else is he supposed to do?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Thirties?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:37Speaker 4: And that perfect spot where you still got a bit
- 9:39Speaker 4: of that hangover sor you don't get hungover as easily
- 9:42Speaker 4: as you do in your mid thirties like me, but
- 9:44Speaker 4: you've got a bit more sense and a bit more
- 9:46Speaker 4: dollars in the back pocket as well, right, as opposed
- 9:48Speaker 4: to your early twenties.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You know, Todd, I'm picking great, Wait until you're forty nine? Brother? Well, Jase,
- 9:57Speaker 3: how are you?

- 10:26Speaker 2: you and he's even more of a league fanatic than
- 10:29Speaker 2: you are. Is that right?
- 10:31Speaker 7: Yes?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Correct?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah? Beautiful? And have you been to the stadium before?

- 15:23Speaker 3: them by the lamp post? Yeah? We did one hundred percent? Yeah, yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 3: it's funny that that's a measurement for a wheelie.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, seventy two yeah, right for my longest.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Right. Hey, Scotty, you're in the drawer, made all right?
- 15:37Speaker 4: Fingers crossed, guys, get you man. Yeah, just practicing for
- 15:42Speaker 4: Magic Ground with Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of that.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I can't wait for it. If you would like to
- 15:48Speaker 4: get yourself from the drawer to win either a street
- 15:50Speaker 4: Dog fifty which is rideable on a car license, or
- 15:53Speaker 4: if you've got a motorbike license, a street Dog x R.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Let just keep listening to Hdarky and when you hear
- 15:57Speaker 4: that Cude call, oh eight hundred haducky is the umber.
- 16:00Speaker 2: To Ring beautiful? In the meantime a bit of a
- 16:02Speaker 2: Lincoln Park.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Four on radio, Tom Pitty and the Heartbreakers there on
- 16:12Speaker 2: the radio. Holdarkey Big show this Thursday afternoon. The time
- 16:16Speaker 2: is four forty nine. Let's talk to ev. What's on
- 16:21Speaker 2: the telly with Mike Minogue.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yes, I didn't watch you anything last night. Feels to
- 16:31Speaker 3: be honest with you.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You get on it.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Nah.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I just sat around and we did a little bit
- 16:36Speaker 3: of work, the wife and I on the couch. Fair
- 16:38Speaker 3: good little chat.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah, And.
- 16:42Speaker 3: That was about it. The bare house was a pigsty.
- 16:44Speaker 3: But that she'll be right. I'm off the Magic Ground.
- 16:48Speaker 3: What do I care?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying? Fellas, I'm out of here.
- 16:52Speaker 3: And then this morning my wife texts me and she said, oh,
- 16:55Speaker 3: house inspection today. I was like, oh man, this is
- 16:59Speaker 3: eight in the morning. Got to get the daughter to
- 17:02Speaker 3: scored eight thirty seven o'clock in the morning. Sorry, they
- 17:05Speaker 3: come in to have a look at the house. Make
- 17:07Speaker 3: sure we've been looking after it as a rental property.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Right it was, I mean what time, sometime between nine
- 17:12Speaker 3: and five? Awesome? So the house was spotless. Yeah, he
- 17:17Speaker 3: did all by himself. Kezy got me good noticing that.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Oh we'd known about it for weeks.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Ah, right, okay, Well, like similarly to you, I didn't
- 17:28Speaker 2: really watch anything last night because I had Kesey's wife
- 17:31Speaker 2: on the phone and tears.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 17:33Speaker 2: And it was a real doozy last night. So I
- 17:35Speaker 2: went up. The phone call went on for a couple
- 17:37Speaker 2: of hours. What time was that? Hours around from about
- 17:42Speaker 2: sort of seven thirty till about eleven.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Right, that's a long one three and a half hours.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Yeah, Because when I got home, I had dinner with
- 17:49Speaker 4: my wife and then we watched Grand Designs New Zealand.
- 17:53Speaker 3: She opened mic to you. She had the phone was
- 17:56Speaker 3: in her pocket.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I could hear the TV in the background and stuff.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Right, So you were just listening to us have dinner
- 18:01Speaker 4: and then watch Grand Designs and then go to bed.
- 18:04Speaker 3: So you went Grand Designs last night? Man, how was it?
- 18:07Speaker 2: It's funny because you should say that because Key was like,
- 18:09Speaker 2: we haven't had portmants and ages.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Did I say that?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah, when you were having done that to me?
- 18:13Speaker 3: Fear we haven't. It's been like at least four days.
- 18:16Speaker 4: So how do you know that you were listening?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Oh gosh, we listened to all of it. Yeah, even
- 18:24Speaker 3: the b Yeah, sorry about that.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Oh it's good.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Last night I watched Grand Designs New Zealand on t
- 18:34Speaker 4: vings in Plus Grand Designs New Zealand.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Ok ye is that the one your wife likes? Yeah?
- 18:41Speaker 2: With the hot guy.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fine.
- 18:44Speaker 4: I started watching halfway through. It didn't grab us. Didn't
- 18:48Speaker 4: grab us. We've got half to watch now. And so
- 18:51Speaker 4: what happened was I was like, hey, should watched the
- 18:53Speaker 4: wrist in bid. I like saying that on the laptop.
- 18:56Speaker 4: She was still on the phone and she was like yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 4: And then we went to bed and then we both like,
- 19:04Speaker 4: can't well.
- 19:05Speaker 2: That was brilliant from you because there's the guy on
- 19:10Speaker 2: the show that she finds really attractive, not.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Really attractive, she's just very very and.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Keysy goes, hey, shall we take this into the boudoir.
- 19:21Speaker 3: But he knows well enough to go, let's watch half
- 19:23Speaker 3: of it?
- 19:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and then put put it on on the laptop.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's what I was doing.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Plus Jace was listening in the whole time, so it
- 19:32Speaker 4: was just a real sick operation.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you're a filthy bastard.
- 19:37Speaker 3: I give that episode.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Two point eight buzzies out of a possible five.
- 19:42Speaker 3: So Ever, what's on the Telly? I think so?
- 19:45Speaker 2: I agree with you man his Gorillas.
- 19:51Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 19:53Speaker 1: tune in week days and four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 20:00Speaker 11: It's the Hole Big Shows Thursday Roma.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Geezy was looking agar he thought I was gonna blow it,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but no, Man.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I was on the man.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I am the man.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Good for you. Jason, Hey a TEXI on three for
- 20:17Speaker 3: eight three. What's the throbber's great question? I'll say that
- 20:24Speaker 3: it's when we each select a tune that's absolute banger,
- 20:29Speaker 3: like hard out rock and roll, not any sort of
- 20:32Speaker 3: slow down rubbish that can be called a throbble when
- 20:34Speaker 3: it's actually not a throbber. You give us a ring.
- 20:38Speaker 3: First of two votes out of three gets your song played,
- 20:40Speaker 3: and we count the winners every single week until at
- 20:42Speaker 3: the end of the year that person gets crowned the
- 20:45Speaker 3: man and gets given a million dollars.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Yeah, they get their own throbber special. One hundred Haduki
- 20:50Speaker 4: is the number. By the way, all I wasn't here
- 20:52Speaker 4: last Friday fels because I was on a piss trip.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Oh yeah, but based on what I saw on the
- 20:57Speaker 4: text machine, it sounded like you guys had a shaker.
- 20:59Speaker 4: So I hope we've all got big tunes.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Big tune. Yeah, it was a shocker last week. I mean,
- 21:05Speaker 2: for a start I won, yeah, which probably you know,
- 21:10Speaker 2: demonstrated it wasn't a great range of songs.
- 21:13Speaker 4: And also today's one's got a theme, doesn't which a
- 21:15Speaker 4: magic round? Yeah, because we've got a magic round tomorrow. Okay,
- 21:18Speaker 4: Jason just made a funny face like he didn't realize
- 21:20Speaker 4: it had a theme.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Here we go. Okay, well, let's go with yours first. Jase,
- 21:23Speaker 3: what song is this?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Man?
- 21:25Speaker 8: No?
- 21:25Speaker 3: What is it?
- 21:26Speaker 2: Stone Temple pilots more than show.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Meat plow, meat plow, Yes, what's themation there?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Well, we're rocking it when we go to bloody Brezy,
- 21:51Speaker 2: that's we're all on man, we're going for it.
- 21:55Speaker 3: And once they got to do with the meat plow.
- 21:57Speaker 3: But you know you've gotta have over there.
- 22:00Speaker 2: It's not really the lyrics that are that relevant. It's
- 22:03Speaker 2: the vibe of the song.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Oh no, we're going that's a shame because it has
- 22:08Speaker 3: to literally be about the sort of the lyrics on
- 22:12Speaker 3: that you know, or the name of the song. I mean,
- 22:14Speaker 3: meat Plow doesn't immediately make me think you know magic Round.
- 22:20Speaker 3: I mean when we just said that it had to
- 22:21Speaker 3: be about Magic Round, you had a look on your
- 22:23Speaker 3: face like, oh shit, I didn't know that. And then
- 22:25Speaker 3: we played the song and it became clear that you
- 22:27Speaker 3: didn't know.
- 22:27Speaker 4: That Tune's risk band band disqualified.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Pigs, Can you jump on? I just I don't want
- 22:40Speaker 3: to even feel like we're bad thoughts here, pugs. I mean,
- 22:44Speaker 3: we all saw the message in the group chair and
- 22:46Speaker 3: that was the thing.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Fair enough.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Do you feel like the song falls into the category
- 22:50Speaker 3: of Magic Round? Doesn't fall into any category? I want
- 22:53Speaker 3: to hear.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Meatlow, I've better sad from pagsa man.
- 23:01Speaker 4: All right, So disqualified or asterisk disqualified?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Okay, I mean it's not it's not on it's not
- 23:07Speaker 3: on brand, is it. No, it's not, it's not. I mean, look,
- 23:09Speaker 3: let's be honest. I think we leave it in there
- 23:11Speaker 3: because an answerisk is as good as a loss. Yeah, completely, okay,
- 23:17Speaker 3: So we and here we are in a win anyway,
- 23:19Speaker 3: we're also here in May. And you have got an
- 23:21Speaker 3: asterisk yet, and I'd like you to have one because
- 23:24Speaker 3: then every week from here on out you can complain
- 23:26Speaker 3: about it. Yes, that's a good point.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I'll go next, fellas, very much the tone of the weekend.
- 23:32Speaker 4: This next tune.
- 23:49Speaker 3: It's a song called lit Up by Buck Cherry. Some
- 23:51Speaker 3: of the lyrics and their inappropriate.
- 23:53Speaker 4: ID just like to say, it's not about the chorus
- 23:55Speaker 4: at all, and I'm very much against the use and
- 23:59Speaker 4: consumption of a class drugs. It's just being lit up
- 24:02Speaker 4: and having an excellent time.
- 24:04Speaker 2: How come he gets away with the vibe of.
- 24:07Speaker 4: It getting lit over the hes getting let you know
- 24:11Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 24:12Speaker 2: But it's the vibe of the song that was what
- 24:15Speaker 2: I was saying.
- 24:15Speaker 3: That's quite explicit in the lyrics, which if he wins
- 24:19Speaker 3: and we'll talk about it in the break. It's pretty pretty,
- 24:22Speaker 3: it's pretty yeah, pretty accurate.
- 24:23Speaker 4: It's a pretty big party song unless you're playing to
- 24:26Speaker 4: go over there and be the meat plow, which I'm
- 24:29Speaker 4: all for.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Mogie what sor did you choose? Well, I'll tell you what, man,
- 24:36Speaker 3: I've got a big weekend ahead, weekend ahead of me,
- 24:38Speaker 3: and I won't be touching the hell of a lot
- 24:40Speaker 3: of food if I'm honest. Okay, I'll be running on
- 24:43Speaker 3: Beer's Baby. It's going to be my feel fuel there
- 25:01Speaker 3: from Metallica.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Fuels that got to do with music. Magic Round, Give
- 25:09Speaker 2: us a ful, give.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Us a call on eight hundred hadarkey and vote for
- 25:12Speaker 4: your Magic Round themed throbber.
- 25:15Speaker 2: In the meantime, here's Placebo.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The Larchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Tune in on Radio.
- 25:23Speaker 11: Holcky It's the Big Shows Thursday.
- 25:37Speaker 4: The theme of today's throbber is Magic Round. By the way,
- 25:39Speaker 4: Magic Round, keep that in mind when you're listening to
- 25:41Speaker 4: our songs.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So I've already got an asterisk. Why's that, Jase, Because
- 25:48Speaker 2: it's not really related to the theme.
- 25:50Speaker 3: What's the name of your song man.
- 25:52Speaker 2: It's by the Stone Temple Pilots and it's called it's
- 25:55Speaker 2: a what's meat Plow?
- 25:58Speaker 3: The meat Plow than the show.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Throw a Start Me.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Absolute tune. I love the song, but meat Plow from
- 26:20Speaker 3: the album Purple I think yes.
- 26:23Speaker 4: So when you said meat plow, what.
- 26:26Speaker 3: What are you? Certainly it brings some imagery to mine.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Does I'm just not sure why you picked out ahead
- 26:33Speaker 3: of a weekend away. It's just it's crazy.
- 26:36Speaker 2: As I say, it wasn't really on theme, I was.
- 26:39Speaker 2: It was just a tune.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah, right, okay.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I was listening to it when I was walking to
- 26:44Speaker 2: work in the skull Candies and I was like, that's
- 26:47Speaker 2: a tune. Nice.
- 26:49Speaker 4: I did the same today actually, except for this very
- 26:51Speaker 4: much is once again the vibe.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Of the tune, the vibe and the name of the.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Tune as opposed to the particular chorus. Yeah yeah, butuck Cherry.
- 27:14Speaker 4: That's a song called litter because we're getting lit up
- 27:17Speaker 4: over in Brisbane.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Kind of the shame of that song is you can't
- 27:20Speaker 3: play the best part of it, do you know? What
- 27:22Speaker 3: I mean? Is that you can't go here it is
- 27:25Speaker 3: and play it because it's sort of you know, it's
- 27:26Speaker 3: a little bit naughty.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Well it's a bit naughty and that's all that's not
- 27:31Speaker 4: at least it's sort of odd theme.
- 27:32Speaker 3: I'm not going over to Brisbane to get lit up.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I mean, if we can't even play it, well, no,
- 27:37Speaker 2: we can play it one hundred percent, we can play it.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Is that bleak or something? No, I can't.
- 27:41Speaker 4: It just heavily references a class drugs And I can't
- 27:44Speaker 4: come here and.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Say, oh yeah, oh my robber is I'm you.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Know, because I'm hugely against the consumption of a class drug.
- 27:51Speaker 3: He always has been. But I'm going to get lit up?
- 27:53Speaker 9: Though?
- 27:54Speaker 3: What does beginning let up mean?
- 27:55Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:56Speaker 3: What is that? I don't know? What does meat plow mean?
- 28:00Speaker 2: As I say, it wasn't relevant to the the the
- 28:04Speaker 2: journey we're about, but.
- 28:06Speaker 3: The most ridiculous we've ever If you're going to get
- 28:09Speaker 3: let up, keys, you're gonna need some fuel. Men, Give
- 28:12Speaker 3: me fuel, Give me give me that. Yeah, one of
- 28:28Speaker 3: my favorite Metallica chuns. That what I'm saying.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Fuel.
- 28:30Speaker 3: That's the way it starts. Oh man, it's off to
- 28:33Speaker 3: the races, isn't it really? Meat plow?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Should we go to the phone lines? Feelers get a
- 28:38Speaker 2: Ron What is that?
- 28:40Speaker 3: Ron?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Get mad bastard? What are you? What are you running with?
- 28:43Speaker 2: The Ron Gets? As much as I'm tempted to be
- 28:47Speaker 2: plowed by Jason's me, I'm going to have to go
- 28:50Speaker 2: with give me some feah thank you, get a haydo
- 28:58Speaker 2: your lead bastard hours live. That's great? Yeah, good on you.
- 29:03Speaker 2: What are you running with, Hayden? I'm going to run
- 29:06Speaker 2: with the big meat player.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's one boat for meat player, Thank you very much, Hayden.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Get hey Tom, Tom, put your glass on?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Please?
- 29:15Speaker 2: What are you running with? Tom? As much as I'd
- 29:19Speaker 2: love to be played by your meat chase, We're going
- 29:21Speaker 2: to go with old Mogie on this way, No, get
- 29:26Speaker 2: on better. Metallica Feelers, what do we say?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Get shutiful fuel?
- 29:32Speaker 1: The hold Archy big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 29:35Speaker 1: tune in on Radio.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Fuel there By, Metallica is your Thursday Throbber this week, Feelings.
- 29:45Speaker 4: The Thursday Throbber because we're over to Brizzy tomorrow for
- 29:47Speaker 4: Magic Round, and the theme of the Throbber was Magic Round.
- 29:51Speaker 4: So we'll just have a quick look at the old
- 29:52Speaker 4: scoreboard there. Feelers are coming first. Seven wins on the
- 29:57Speaker 4: year Old mogi, congratulations, pretty amazing.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 30:01Speaker 3: You're on a hot streak. Man, I'm going good.
- 30:03Speaker 4: You're going so good man, second place on six weeks, keasy,
- 30:07Speaker 4: Oh well done, man, you're in a hot streak yourself. Brother,
- 30:10Speaker 4: I'm feeling good as well, coming third or last, as
- 30:13Speaker 4: I call it, on five with an asterisk for choosing
- 30:16Speaker 4: meat Plow.
- 30:19Speaker 2: If you win, you get, you get on anyway. No,
- 30:22Speaker 2: you don't do. You don't get an asterisk if you lose.
- 30:26Speaker 3: It was your flagrant disregard for the rules.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Can I just say I thought meat Plower was perfect.
- 30:33Speaker 2: It's rugby league, it's big men plowing into each other.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Mine was the most relevant to the actual situation, and
- 30:41Speaker 2: you cannot give me an asterisk if I lost.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You didn't have that idea until someone texted it in
- 30:49Speaker 3: five minutes after you suggested your throubber.
- 30:52Speaker 2: You guys were giving me so much JEP that I
- 30:56Speaker 2: didn't you know you scrambled me. So I can't get
- 30:59Speaker 2: an asterisk of I didn't win. Is that a thing?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah? It is, unfortunately, Key. Look, I'm more than keen to,
- 31:06Speaker 3: you know, cheat as much as I can here, bad
- 31:08Speaker 3: Sadley address is right.
- 31:09Speaker 4: You only get the risk of your win, right. Okay,
- 31:12Speaker 4: so you chose meat plow.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Because of the fellow's plower, the big bally bastard mean.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Just plowing for if you'd thought of that before this
- 31:24Speaker 4: texture sent through one would have been like you, it's great.
- 31:27Speaker 3: One hundred percent. Yeah that we've had there before. Were
- 31:30Speaker 3: Keysy ended up winning one with a with a theme
- 31:33Speaker 3: that do you remember that it was not related at all?
- 31:35Speaker 3: But thankfully somehow somebody got him a message that it
- 31:39Speaker 3: was about this and you made up on the spot. Yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 3: it was Horner from.
- 31:45Speaker 4: When Ginny Goes to Balcony. I can't remember the theme though,
- 31:49Speaker 4: but look, another exciting edition of the Friday Throbber feels
- 31:52Speaker 4: free to send your thoughts through on how you thought
- 31:54Speaker 4: that the.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Frobber went up.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Next, a preview of Magic Ground the Wires taking on
- 32:00Speaker 4: the Broncos with all Uncle Charlie gub.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeah man looking forward to it.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Here's Nirvana the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Tune in on Radio.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Queens of the Stone Age there on the Radio Hodarchy
- 32:14Speaker 2: Big Show this Tuesday evening. I couldn't have really won
- 32:17Speaker 2: the throble with that fellows because in there? What have another?
- 32:21Speaker 2: Queens of the stone Age straight after?
- 32:23Speaker 3: Ah, well, luckily your song was by a stone table pilot.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's right, you don't.
- 32:29Speaker 3: You don't know man, Welcome to the show. Oh man, Hey, sorry.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Let's just take it from Jason knowing nothing about music
- 32:36Speaker 4: to someone who knows everything about.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Rod b Yeah good cool man. Good a Charlie, if
- 32:42Speaker 2: you met your mad barstar Hell's life?
- 32:46Speaker 3: Pretty your Big Old four?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yeah good? I missed out. Chats Charlie, how are you going?
- 32:52Speaker 10: I'm actually doing really well mine. I ran across the
- 32:55Speaker 10: road to get inside, and when you get your heart
- 32:57Speaker 10: rate up, it's followed by good and orphins going through
- 32:59Speaker 10: your So I'm just feel like I've done a bod
- 33:01Speaker 10: exercise right.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Good on you.
- 33:02Speaker 3: But you just run across the road.
- 33:04Speaker 10: Yeah, one across the road.
- 33:06Speaker 3: But that's that's all it is. Keasy.
- 33:07Speaker 10: I know you've got a bigger ego, made you litle
- 33:09Speaker 10: bit more than that, but that's yeah. I'm feeling all
- 33:11Speaker 10: right with my SLF.
- 33:13Speaker 3: We're off to Magic Ground tomorrow. Jealous match.
- 33:17Speaker 10: I was until I heard you guys talk in your
- 33:20Speaker 10: game plan last night and you were trauma dumping about
- 33:22Speaker 10: not being able to last three days.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Mate. There, I'll tell you what, Charlie, And this is
- 33:27Speaker 3: this is the thing. Brother, How old are you? Five
- 33:31Speaker 3: thirty five? When I was your age, I was going
- 33:33Speaker 3: fourteen days straight. But now I'm forty nine. Brother, I've
- 33:37Speaker 3: slowed down a little bit. You come talk to me
- 33:38Speaker 3: when you're my age. Feel Yeah, I'm hearing you, bro.
- 33:41Speaker 10: But when it comes to game time, you know you
- 33:43Speaker 10: got that picket over there. There's a plenty of people
- 33:46Speaker 10: that want that spot on the plane, you know.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Well, the way I would put it on the way.
- 33:50Speaker 10: You got to make the most of it, the way.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I'd put it, the way I'd put it to you,
- 33:54Speaker 3: Charlie gabber Is. It's kind of like every time you
- 33:57Speaker 3: pulled on the Warriors Jersey. Sure you were there, but
- 34:00Speaker 3: every time you ask yourself, will you really up to it?
- 34:04Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm hearing you. You know what you're giving men
- 34:10Speaker 10: a question?
- 34:10Speaker 2: Hey, Gabby, now listen, let's get to some league, can
- 34:12Speaker 2: we please? This is going to be a massive game.
- 34:15Speaker 2: The wires be the Broncos who as in tremendous form.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I'm a little bit consumed because the last couple of
- 34:22Speaker 2: games in Magic Round with the Wars, they were expected
- 34:25Speaker 2: to lose. Now the expectation is you'd have to say
- 34:28Speaker 2: they're expected to win.
- 34:31Speaker 10: I think we are expected to win. We're playing the
- 34:34Speaker 10: hometown hears. But I reckon it's going to be the
- 34:37Speaker 10: game of the round. I'm just a bit worried that
- 34:40Speaker 10: the ref you're going to be on Broncos side. I
- 34:42Speaker 10: reckon there could be a hit an agenda him HOIDI,
- 34:45Speaker 10: And it's just I don't know. I hope we can
- 34:48Speaker 10: be resilient and defend those six agains and come the
- 34:51Speaker 10: Broncos way, because on paper and on form, we should
- 34:54Speaker 10: be putting them away.
- 34:56Speaker 3: A hundred percent. Charlie, you know it's keasy here.
- 34:58Speaker 10: Man, hope you will good brother, Good to hear from you.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Likewise, Man, Hey, do you think this whole Luke Metcalf
- 35:05Speaker 4: situation could be a distraction or do you think Old
- 35:07Speaker 4: Weby's done a good job of just sort of keeping
- 35:09Speaker 4: it out of the changing room there.
- 35:13Speaker 10: I think if we do end up losing the game,
- 35:16Speaker 10: it's going to become a major distraction, you know what
- 35:19Speaker 10: I mean, Like they're just going to keep leaning on it,
- 35:21Speaker 10: not the playing group, but the media and the media
- 35:23Speaker 10: eventually seeps in unfortunately. Yeah, but I think it's just
- 35:28Speaker 10: professional rugby league now. It's it's probably not as as
- 35:32Speaker 10: heated as the media is making it out to be.
- 35:34Speaker 10: You know, metcalf might have just asked where am I? Hey,
- 35:37Speaker 10: his spot's gone for some reason. He doesn't want to
- 35:40Speaker 10: show a little bit more resilience and just see it out.
- 35:43Speaker 10: But yeah, I don't know, like a lot can change
- 35:46Speaker 10: in a week, you know, Casey, if one of the
- 35:49Speaker 10: halves goes down at Magic Round while he's the first
- 35:52Speaker 10: choice half against, its going to.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Be I don't know.
- 35:55Speaker 10: I don't rate what's happening and being in the media.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Just on that Actually May who was the guy was
- 36:01Speaker 2: that last year? It was all that contract and he
- 36:03Speaker 2: was leaving what was Yeah, that was Buddy.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Locky Galvin was last year, that's right. But the year before.
- 36:11Speaker 3: But the year before is AFB And I remember that
- 36:13Speaker 3: because you were at Magic Round as well, and we
- 36:16Speaker 3: somehow managed to beat Penrith that year and af be
- 36:19Speaker 3: celebrated by getting in the her of a mood and
- 36:21Speaker 3: gun and sitting in the bus. That's right.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Yeah, And you've got inside he does, You've got the
- 36:28Speaker 4: inside scoop on that.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Ah, Charlie, what happened? Man?
- 36:33Speaker 10: I can't remember, bro, I can't remember. And there's one
- 36:35Speaker 10: person I wouldn't want to be talking about on there.
- 36:37Speaker 3: It's for noor Blake. Yeah, absolutely, he's not here anymore thankfully.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Just one other thing, man, I will say that I
- 36:44Speaker 3: think we'd be worried about the rest a little bit
- 36:47Speaker 3: more if it wasn't going to be pretty much a
- 36:49Speaker 3: home team home game for the Warriors. We're going to
- 36:52Speaker 3: have a huge just as many fans here as the
- 36:55Speaker 3: Bronco as well, So I think we'll ride the Bastard's
- 36:57Speaker 3: home back Mane and you.
- 37:00Speaker 10: I was just thinking about it today. Our forward pack, Mogi,
- 37:03Speaker 10: we got barnetback, so yeah, Jackson Ford's apparently on the bench.
- 37:07Speaker 10: I think he'll still start.
- 37:08Speaker 3: We'll still but yeah, man, what a forward pack we got.
- 37:11Speaker 10: We should just be punishing the Bronco way.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Yeah, And I can tell you the Keysy and Mogi
- 37:16Speaker 2: on either side of me and me will be punishing
- 37:19Speaker 2: my ears, no doubt.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Hell yeah, Charlie, great to hear from your mate. Enjoy
- 37:24Speaker 4: your weekend and thank you so much for speaking to us.
- 37:26Speaker 10: All good fellows, and just a little tip for the
- 37:28Speaker 10: weekend to panadol and a high quality hydra light before bed.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Ah, thank you, MAT's mate, and you don't forget it.
- 37:36Speaker 2: You regret it all right.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Yeah, Matte, thank you so much, Charlie, and don't forget.
- 37:39Speaker 4: If you're in the Wellington area and you need to Portloo,
- 37:41Speaker 4: give old Porter King a call and Uncle Charlie will
- 37:43Speaker 4: see you right.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Fellas. Coming up next, Ted Polarin to release a brand
- 37:47Speaker 3: new tune.
- 37:48Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 37:52Speaker 1: in on radio.
- 37:54Speaker 2: He's indeed Lenny Kravitz there on the radio, Houdarky Big Show.
- 37:59Speaker 2: This Gorees Thursday evening. What a special tree day, Fells feels.
- 38:03Speaker 2: We got the team from Tadpole and with us Christine
- 38:06Speaker 2: and Lauren. How do you gain your mad barstards. You've
- 38:09Speaker 2: been telling us all about your your adventures down in
- 38:12Speaker 2: Hooker ticket.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Ah.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yes, getting down to the Deep South. What an adventure,
- 38:16Speaker 5: what a journey. Yes, we're just telling you guys. It
- 38:19Speaker 5: took us like nearly a whole day to just travel
- 38:21Speaker 5: from Auckland down there and get there. We we flew
- 38:25Speaker 5: down there, we flew from christ Church over but they
- 38:28Speaker 5: wouldn't land, so we flew back to christ Church.
- 38:30Speaker 3: We then caught a bus.
- 38:31Speaker 5: The bus broke down on Arthur's Past hell, so we
- 38:34Speaker 5: rolled back to spring Vale. We hung out at a
- 38:37Speaker 5: pub there until we got the cavalry and a couple
- 38:39Speaker 5: of people vans to pick us up.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yes, so you know it's been. It was an amazing experience.
- 38:45Speaker 5: It was.
- 38:45Speaker 10: It was.
- 38:46Speaker 4: And the regular punters that were at the Hokitika Wild
- 38:49Speaker 4: Food Festival, you know, they would have eaten some Hooho grubs,
- 38:52Speaker 4: you know, rub shoulders with the big show watch you
- 38:54Speaker 4: guys perform. But what they don't know is that the
- 38:57Speaker 4: day after you guys actually recorded part of the we're
- 39:00Speaker 4: about to debut tonight, am all right.
- 39:02Speaker 5: That is exactly correct. So we had recorded most of
- 39:06Speaker 5: the track. We hadn't laid down the base yet. So
- 39:10Speaker 5: the next day we.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Literally asked the hotel if they had a space where
- 39:15Speaker 4: we could just accosted and set up our little mini
- 39:18Speaker 4: recording studio, which is literally a laptop and a sound card.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Wow, And they were like, well, the restaurant's not open.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Well that's what they told us. It actually was open.
- 39:27Speaker 5: There were a few punters in the corner but you know,
- 39:30Speaker 5: we're recording with headphones and that.
- 39:32Speaker 3: So yeah, we.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Recorded the base in the restaurant of the Copthorn Hotel in.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Graymouth, and yeah, it turned out well. Was it a
- 39:44Speaker 3: tasty little riffman being recorded in the restaurant? Oh, it
- 39:47Speaker 3: just added to the added to the tastiest. How good.
- 39:53Speaker 4: So I mean you guys falling into you guys have
- 39:56Speaker 4: been touring a wee bit as well. You've been on
- 39:57Speaker 4: board with quite a few other big big you know
- 40:00Speaker 4: good shall at highly suspect Yellow Card as well. You
- 40:03Speaker 4: guys pretty fired up to get stuck in release more
- 40:05Speaker 4: music now, maybe an album, things like that or am
- 40:07Speaker 4: I getting ahead of myself?
- 40:09Speaker 7: We definitely are. Yeah, that's our plan. This is kind
- 40:12Speaker 7: of the beginning, this new single of yeah, sort of.
- 40:16Speaker 2: A new era for us.
- 40:17Speaker 7: I want to keep the momentum going. And yeah, I
- 40:20Speaker 7: have a bunch of new tunes for everyone. We don't
- 40:23Speaker 7: quite have a date yet, but that's sort of We've
- 40:25Speaker 7: got a bit of a break now now that it's
- 40:27Speaker 7: winter and things have slowed down a little bit. So yea,
- 40:29Speaker 7: we will be working on that over the winter and
- 40:32Speaker 7: coming out with some golden nuggets.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I reckon.
- 40:36Speaker 3: How long a break did you guys take because you
- 40:37Speaker 3: were a big part of my young you I won't
- 40:40Speaker 3: call it youth. You guys are like you're about the
- 40:42Speaker 3: same age as same age as me, but.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Very very young.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I just looked terrible. But you guys, you took a
- 40:52Speaker 3: decent break because you were a huge part and it
- 40:54Speaker 3: was head after head after hit, and you were hugely loved.
- 40:56Speaker 3: And I guess everyone is the sort of thing where
- 40:58Speaker 3: everyone runs off and has two of a family or
- 41:00Speaker 3: you hate each other's got for a while and you
- 41:02Speaker 3: need some time apart and then you come back together.
- 41:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Life, all of that, yeah, life the way.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Yeah, get married, have kids, yeah, all those you know, responsibilities.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Yeah. And you think I'm going to get the band
- 41:18Speaker 3: back together this yeah you know yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Well yeah, initially we were just we're only supposed to
- 41:24Speaker 2: do that Devil's Can tour.
- 41:26Speaker 3: And then it was like, oh men, Christopher Jim, oh
- 41:29Speaker 3: we've written some news.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Oh maybe we should let's do another album.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Yeah right, Okay, so you guys got together. Did someone
- 41:35Speaker 4: shoulder tap you and say, hey, you come to it
- 41:37Speaker 4: with Devil Skin and then you guys, okay, we'll see
- 41:39Speaker 4: how we go and then from that you just got
- 41:41Speaker 4: back into it and you're like, hang on, why why
- 41:42Speaker 4: did we stop doing this?
- 41:43Speaker 5: Yeah, that's exactly what happened. They reached out to us
- 41:48Speaker 5: and I was like, hey, can you get the literally,
- 41:51Speaker 5: can you get the band bick together and come to
- 41:52Speaker 5: it with us? And we're like, okay, well we'll see
- 41:55Speaker 5: if we can find a way. And we found a
- 41:57Speaker 5: way and it was really great because we always thought
- 42:00Speaker 5: the songs translated well live. I mean, we're a live
- 42:03Speaker 5: band back in the day. And the response was great
- 42:06Speaker 5: and we just had a bit of a sit down
- 42:07Speaker 5: and a power going. Do we just want to be
- 42:10Speaker 5: a nostalgia band and just play the old stuff or
- 42:12Speaker 5: you want to open a new creative chapter and see.
- 42:14Speaker 3: What might be lurking inside.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Was it like it's sort of like it's giving me
- 42:18Speaker 2: the vibes of the Dirty Dozen. You remember that film
- 42:20Speaker 2: and they get you know, let's get the Dirty Dozen
- 42:22Speaker 2: back together. And you know one of them is just
- 42:24Speaker 2: a piss head. He just sits in the bar, you
- 42:26Speaker 2: know that sort of thing. I'll tell you what we're
- 42:30Speaker 2: going to do. We'll go to the chain and I'll
- 42:32Speaker 2: be honest with you. We've already listened to it. It's
- 42:34Speaker 2: a banger and it's falling to you? Is that right?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Falling into you?
- 42:40Speaker 2: Falling into out?
- 42:41Speaker 4: At midnight tonight, so we are getting an exclusive first
- 42:44Speaker 4: listen a brand new tune from well an iconic Kiwi band.
- 42:47Speaker 3: It is tad Pole. Give us a text on three
- 42:49Speaker 3: four eight three. Let us know what you think.
- 42:51Speaker 1: The Whodichy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 42:54Speaker 1: in on Radioche.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Sit Falling into You by tad Pole. We've got Christine
- 43:06Speaker 2: and Lauren from the band and with us. How do
- 43:09Speaker 2: you feel, guys, You're excited listening to it? Pumped? Yeah, pump.
- 43:15Speaker 2: What's the situation for you guys, because you know, we
- 43:17Speaker 2: get a lot of bands in and often the situation is,
- 43:19Speaker 2: you know, members are all over the country or even
- 43:22Speaker 2: another country sometimes. You know, are you guys in the
- 43:25Speaker 2: same sort of vicinity or are you having to sort
- 43:27Speaker 2: of get on the computer and do all that.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Jazz I literally got off the plane from Christrich and
- 43:33Speaker 7: ran here just now. So I'm still on Christchurch, but
- 43:37Speaker 7: I'm working on getting here. But we've done a bit
- 43:39Speaker 7: of a makeshift kind of situation without.
- 43:42Speaker 5: We've got band members all over the country and it
- 43:45Speaker 5: does make it very difficult our DJKF He lives in
- 43:48Speaker 5: New Plymouth, Lauren is currently in christ Church but looking
- 43:51Speaker 5: to move up to Auckland soon, and the rest of
- 43:53Speaker 5: us are in Auckland.
- 43:53Speaker 2: So yeah, it's a logistical nightmare.
- 43:55Speaker 3: It's kind of the same with everyone though, right, because
- 43:57Speaker 3: we're talking to the guys in Shapey's and noting exactly
- 43:59Speaker 3: the same thing. Black Seeds members living all over the show.
- 44:03Speaker 3: But at least now you can there's a way to
- 44:05Speaker 3: make it work and the technology that's available to you.
- 44:07Speaker 3: It's not completely impossible, don't you Reckon Man?
- 44:11Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, yeah, it's still hard.
- 44:15Speaker 3: It's harder though, right, isn't it?
- 44:17Speaker 4: It is harder, But I mean, obviously you guys have
- 44:20Speaker 4: got members of the band all over the shop, but
- 44:22Speaker 4: you managed to wrangle in a few more big names
- 44:25Speaker 4: from back in the day as well. Bo Wronger, Bo
- 44:28Speaker 4: Wronger from Stella. She worked on what was it mastering
- 44:31Speaker 4: the vocals? Was it like working with bo oh Man?
- 44:34Speaker 7: That was incredible. She's so lovely and she's so talented.
- 44:38Speaker 7: I'm not close enough to the Mike Keller, that's all right, Yeah, no,
- 44:41Speaker 7: Bo's amazing.
- 44:42Speaker 2: It was such an home to work with her.
- 44:43Speaker 7: She's you know, she's one of those icons, especially as
- 44:47Speaker 7: a female sort of rock artist. We had a great time.
- 44:50Speaker 4: Yeah, she's lovely, I say next to her at this
- 44:53Speaker 4: like Battle of the Band's thing, and she was I
- 44:55Speaker 4: was one of the judges, and then Bo sat next
- 44:56Speaker 4: to me and I was like, well, hang.
- 44:57Speaker 2: On, you're sort of out ranked there. Absolutely, yeah, yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 2: now you're also we were talking in the break there.
- 45:07Speaker 2: You've got a video coming out tomorrow night at about
- 45:09Speaker 2: seven thirty, I believe tell us a bit about that.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Well, you know, you have to have audio to videos
- 45:18Speaker 5: to go with your audio these days. So yeah, we've
- 45:20Speaker 5: got a brand new music and video for this, which
- 45:22Speaker 5: we're going to premiere at seven thirty tomorrow night on YouTube.
- 45:25Speaker 3: What can you tell us about the video?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Is it like? What is it like?
- 45:28Speaker 10: What?
- 45:28Speaker 3: Is there some sort of thing happening in the video?
- 45:30Speaker 3: Is it like?
- 45:31Speaker 5: Ah, I'd say, it's the story of the song. So
- 45:35Speaker 5: there's footage of us in the studio, this footage of
- 45:38Speaker 5: us taking that song.
- 45:39Speaker 2: To the stage. It's it's the journey of.
- 45:43Speaker 3: The song from its recording to people will get.
- 45:47Speaker 4: To see it like, and how does it? How is
- 45:49Speaker 4: the new song translated to? Have you had a chance
- 45:51Speaker 4: to play it live?
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yet? We have?
- 45:53Speaker 7: We've played it a few times. Actually. We kind of
- 45:56Speaker 7: started with like our original idea and as times on on,
- 46:00Speaker 7: we've like changed a few things and added a few things.
- 46:03Speaker 7: But it was cool to see people kind of vibing it.
- 46:06Speaker 7: Like even back like a year ago, we were sort
- 46:08Speaker 7: of like, well what people think and here we are
- 46:11Speaker 7: now having it the final version with all the fiaicks
- 46:14Speaker 7: and all the.
- 46:17Speaker 4: Right right so, and how much has it changed since
- 46:19Speaker 4: you first you know, had a crack it at life?
- 46:22Speaker 3: Actually, not that much.
- 46:23Speaker 5: It's just like there's fine tuning, but road testing songs
- 46:28Speaker 5: is something that we've always done because there's nothing quite
- 46:31Speaker 5: like taking an idea out there seeing how people react
- 46:34Speaker 5: and then you take that on board and go okay,
- 46:36Speaker 5: well we could do this, this and this, just like
- 46:38Speaker 5: little fine tuning bits.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Yeah no, it's definitely helped.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I tell you what, team, it's a bloody
- 46:43Speaker 2: great tune and we appreciate and if people want to
- 46:47Speaker 2: people get it the usual way these days, Your spotifies,
- 46:50Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, your spotifies Yeah. Your social media is your
- 46:56Speaker 5: tech talks. Yeah, your Instagrams, all those bloody things.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Get your music from. The new turn is called Falling
- 47:02Speaker 4: Into You from Tadpole. It officially comes out tomorrow, So
- 47:05Speaker 4: that was an exclusive first listen right here on Radio Hodarkey.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Ted Pole, thank you so much for coming in to him.
- 47:11Speaker 4: It's been awesome.

- 48:13Speaker 3: No, it'll be some kind of a food bag mendes
- 48:16Speaker 3: something like that, and I'll find out what it lives
- 48:18Speaker 3: when I get home. I've got another frozen pie the
- 48:22Speaker 3: last week. How I had that? Had a frozen pie.
- 48:24Speaker 3: I like any kind of pie. I love a family pie.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a big fan. Unfortunately, my youngest isn't a
- 48:30Speaker 2: fan of the pie, so well she can get it. Well, yeah,
- 48:34Speaker 2: that's kind of how I feel about it too. I
- 48:35Speaker 2: just want to reiterate too. By the way, I'm not
- 48:37Speaker 2: going to go too fiery on the dumplings because I
- 48:40Speaker 2: don't want to have chili bow tomorrow. You know, worse
- 48:43Speaker 2: than chili bow when you're going on the plane.
- 48:47Speaker 4: I honestly, yesterday I had a rather large hot spicy
- 48:51Speaker 4: luxA and like it was fine, but like coming out, nah,
- 48:57Speaker 4: it didn't. But it was just like it was she
- 48:59Speaker 4: was you know, I could tell there was something in there. Yeah,
- 49:02Speaker 4: I could tell there was stuff happening. Yes, I was like,
- 49:04Speaker 4: I shouldn't have had that.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I'll tell you what was a really good combination where
- 49:08Speaker 2: you go the really spicy food after you have had
- 49:12Speaker 2: a sort of weekend like you're about to have keesy. Yeah,
- 49:16Speaker 2: you know.
- 49:17Speaker 4: But that's that's where I punished myself, you know, to
- 49:19Speaker 4: make myself feel better. I have really spicy food to.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Be like, yeah you deserve this. Yeah, you're a real
- 49:27Speaker 3: piece of shit over the weekend. Here eat this.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I remember you did that just recently in christ Juts
- 49:31Speaker 2: or something and you were in her of a move.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Was you were begging yourself while you were eating?
- 49:37Speaker 3: I was begging myself.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yes, right, okay, hey coming up by the way, fellas
- 49:45Speaker 2: a little bit of a staff up, and I need
- 49:48Speaker 2: to talk to you about It's ree our flights tomorrow.

- 50:03Speaker 2: Thursday evening and Fellers, I've stuffed up. I went to
- 50:12Speaker 2: check in today for my flight tomorrow to Brisbane to
- 50:16Speaker 2: Brisbane for the Magic Ground, and I went to chicken
- 50:18Speaker 2: and I did all that sort of stuff. An unbeknownst
- 50:22Speaker 2: to me, what I ended up doing was checking in
- 50:27Speaker 2: for all of you, because obviously we're a group booking.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Like when.
- 50:33Speaker 2: I say all of us, all four of us, and
- 50:35Speaker 2: I must at some point have said select.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Door, you just checked in for all of us.
- 50:41Speaker 2: So I've checked in for all of you. So but
- 50:45Speaker 2: the thing about that is, like, I know Pugs has
- 50:48Speaker 2: got Carrie has got chicken, chicken, You've got chicken? Haven
- 50:54Speaker 2: you mogi or you do? Because and you wanted chicken?
- 50:57Speaker 3: I want check I was supposed to have chicken.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I've canceled all that and just said it's
- 51:01Speaker 2: you know, carry on. But the other issue I have
- 51:06Speaker 2: is that I've also been seen to all your boarding passes.
- 51:09Speaker 3: So physical ones or emailed emailed.
- 51:12Speaker 2: So I mean, do you want me to I mean,
- 51:14Speaker 2: because I don't know, because it's obviously no good me
- 51:19Speaker 2: having them all. How do I home?
- 51:23Speaker 3: Do you have a printer?
- 51:24Speaker 2: No, I don't have a princess. So do you have
- 51:27Speaker 2: what are they called a wallet or something? And I
- 51:28Speaker 2: could maybe I could get on my email and transfer to.
- 51:34Speaker 3: What do you do you know how to screenshot?
- 51:36Speaker 2: Well? I don't. I don't have an Apple Wallet because
- 51:38Speaker 2: I've got the Huawei. Yes, it's just a Google. Can
- 51:43Speaker 2: I Google Wallet to your Apple Wallet?
- 51:45Speaker 3: I think?
- 51:45Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 51:46Speaker 3: I think we leave the wallets out of this moogi.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Yeah you do. You know how to screenshot? Do you
- 51:52Speaker 3: know how to take a screenshot?
- 51:54Speaker 2: No? I don't think my phone can do that, right.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Because I was gonna say you could screens if you
- 51:59Speaker 3: can buy an it for them. It's only about thirty
- 52:01Speaker 3: bucks a month. It seems pricey and.
- 52:04Speaker 2: It's what what is it called screenshot app or something? Yeah, screenshot,
- 52:08Speaker 2: So I'll get there and then maybe screenshot, but that
- 52:12Speaker 2: doesn't actually sold because what I need to do because
- 52:15Speaker 2: you guys are taking luggage. Yeah, I need to because
- 52:18Speaker 2: I've canceled that.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, right, Okay. To be honest with you, man,
- 52:21Speaker 3: as soon as you see that you checked them for us,
- 52:23Speaker 3: I've just decided that I'm not going this year and
- 52:25Speaker 3: I'll just I'll see it next year is one.
- 52:27Speaker 4: No, Well you figure this out, man, I know what
- 52:29Speaker 4: you mean though, I know what you mean, but hang on.
- 52:32Speaker 4: So you've got this, You're going to download the screenshot app?
- 52:34Speaker 2: Yes, and that's what it's called though, screenshot screen screenshotter,
- 52:39Speaker 2: and when I find that, I'm googling, well.
- 52:42Speaker 4: On the app store, oh yes, and then type it
- 52:44Speaker 4: and download that and then screenshot what's it called the
- 52:47Speaker 4: screen screenshotter screenshotter, and then you might need screenshot a
- 52:52Speaker 4: pro actually, because you're goned to do it four times
- 52:54Speaker 4: green sho.
- 52:55Speaker 2: That's ninety five bucks a month.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Just just sign up and then cancel it straight away.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Do that four times, once for each of us. Yes,
- 53:02Speaker 4: And then do you have an email? Do you have
- 53:05Speaker 4: an email address?
- 53:07Speaker 3: You've got mister Jizz?
- 53:09Speaker 2: Oh yes, yes, mister Jizz at gmail dot com.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Right, okay, so you've got to remember the password to that. No, yeah,
- 53:15Speaker 3: you do Z sixty nine.
- 53:18Speaker 2: You know that's right?
- 53:19Speaker 3: Yeah, right, that's the it's the logan, is it? Okay? Well,
- 53:22Speaker 3: what you're gonnaed to do is log into mister Jizz.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yes, and then send each of us our screenshots.
- 53:30Speaker 2: How do I get the screenshots into my email?
- 53:33Speaker 4: Honestly, keazy lit swim swim pugs. Can you just cancel
- 53:38Speaker 4: the whole trip? I'm done with it. Have fun though, Jayson.

- 54:08Speaker 3: It's a little sting heavy, isn't it? Get our colors?
- 54:10Speaker 3: How are you? Thanks for having me? Yeah? Cheers. The
- 54:15Speaker 3: reason we got the reason we got a man.
- 54:18Speaker 4: The reason we got pugs Son in here is because
- 54:21Speaker 4: we are leaving tomorrow. We're going to Magic Ground and
- 54:22Speaker 4: Brizzee tomorrow, is it?
- 54:25Speaker 3: Yes?
- 54:26Speaker 4: And pugs has got the brand new Hockey Big Show
- 54:29Speaker 4: credit card. Now we've had a vote, you're the one
- 54:32Speaker 4: that gets to hold the credit card. Fair enough, it's
- 54:34Speaker 4: got your name writ on it. You've also said we're
- 54:36Speaker 4: not allowed to add it to our Apple wallets or whatever,
- 54:38Speaker 4: so you'll just have it at all time. I've got
- 54:40Speaker 4: a Google wallet, yeah even less so yeah, so you're
- 54:44Speaker 4: not allowed to edit to your Apple wallet, Google wallet,
- 54:46Speaker 4: your Huawei wallet, whatever, Jason's Rocket, your actual wallet or
- 54:48Speaker 4: your wallet. What are the rules around what we can
- 54:52Speaker 4: use it for? Because you'll be with us so food.
- 54:55Speaker 8: Bricky, Yeah, absolutely, man, I mean you know it's you
- 54:58Speaker 8: guys are technically working over the way, So obviously we've

- 55:02Speaker 8: to get some great contents.
- 55:04Speaker 6: Field up, fueled up, just going to jump on that coffee.
- 55:08Speaker 6: You'll you know, fuel food and coffee. Well not feel
- 55:12Speaker 6: like petrol because yeah, yeah yeah.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Anything that's on the menu there breakfast sorry breakfast, yeah
- 55:19Speaker 3: yeah yeah, but what I choose there for breakfast is surely,
- 55:23Speaker 3: surely that's my business. I don't wake up and grow
- 55:25Speaker 3: up in somewhere that PC got mad, was it right?
- 55:28Speaker 3: So I can have eggs if I want, if you
- 55:33Speaker 3: want to, Can I have overnight oats?
- 55:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 55:37Speaker 3: Okay great?
- 55:38Speaker 2: Can I have it in.
- 55:41Speaker 3: A few beers for breakfast?
- 55:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Can I have it in my room? Have one
- 55:45Speaker 2: in your room breakfast? You can, ye, sweet? And you'll
- 55:51Speaker 2: just give me the credit card so I can give
- 55:53Speaker 2: them the number.
- 55:54Speaker 8: No order it for you, Jase, You just give me
- 55:56Speaker 8: a little ticks, just put it on the tab you've got.
- 55:58Speaker 3: That's the other thing that PAGs was telling me off here,
- 56:01Speaker 3: as you can put whatever you want on room service
- 56:03Speaker 3: and it's.
- 56:03Speaker 2: On yeah yeah, yeah that makes sense. And then you
- 56:06Speaker 2: what you clear it up when we leave.
- 56:08Speaker 3: We just walk out the door and we're still in
- 56:10Speaker 3: the taxi and then it's his problem. I mean, he's
- 56:12Speaker 3: taking care of it.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah, did you hurry up? Pugs?
- 56:15Speaker 3: So are we allowed to use it for lunch?
- 56:17Speaker 2: Of course?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Man? Yeah, I get to choose what I'm meaning for lunch.
- 56:21Speaker 4: I don't grow up in some world where I have
- 56:23Speaker 4: to justify what I'm having, like the same thing for
- 56:25Speaker 4: lunch every day, and that is six beers and that's it.
- 56:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Can I have that in my room lunch? Yeah?
- 56:33Speaker 3: Six beers?
- 56:34Speaker 2: I just put it on the tag. Sweet.
- 56:37Speaker 3: When we're at the stadium at sun Corpse Stadium?
- 56:39Speaker 4: Am I allowed to use it to go get a

- 56:45Speaker 8: We'll grab a we'll grab a hot dog and I'll
- 56:47Speaker 8: just swipe away there.

- 56:48Speaker 4: And that's on me, brother, Sweet, And like see, I
- 56:51Speaker 4: saw sex seven eight beers as well?
- 56:52Speaker 3: What's that for? Is that? Okay? Bless you each.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Each?
- 56:58Speaker 3: Are we allowed to use it by oh years? That's
- 57:01Speaker 3: a great question.
- 57:02Speaker 4: No, right, So we're not able to use it to
- 57:06Speaker 4: by merchant because we're at Magic Ground and you would
- 57:07Speaker 4: want to show U without any magic ground merch.
- 57:09Speaker 3: You know what about.
- 57:10Speaker 8: Judy free ah no, sail at the gallery?
- 57:14Speaker 2: Yes, and I see a beautiful picture? Can I use

- 57:24Speaker 8: sort of hanging out with well, I won't be with you, ja,
- 57:27Speaker 8: Well that's what I mean.
- 57:28Speaker 12: Just so no, I need to put it on my
- 57:30Speaker 12: Google thing. So what about what if so Jason is
- 57:32Speaker 12: at an art gallery? Yeah, and he sees a beautiful
- 57:35Speaker 12: pain that he likes. Can he use the credit card
- 57:37Speaker 12: to buy sex or seven beers?
- 57:42Speaker 3: As long as I'm with you, man, we can? Yeah?
- 57:43Speaker 2: Right, you know that's good?
- 57:45Speaker 3: Okay? Cool?
- 57:47Speaker 4: And if at the stadium, yeah, and we're feeling about pickish, yeah,
- 57:50Speaker 4: we see, oh lot, there's a bloody hot there's a
- 57:51Speaker 4: Wiener stand. Are we able to use the credit card
