- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past year or so, one of
- 0:06Speaker 1: the questions that I've received quite a bit about Glenn
- 0:09Speaker 1: Maxwell is why she didn't talk to keep herself out
- 0:12Speaker 1: of prison. You would think that somebody like Glenn Maxwell,
- 0:15Speaker 1: who was certainly in self-preservation mode at that point, would
- 0:18Speaker 1: have said anything to keep her out of the who-scale.
- 0:21Speaker 1: The problem for Glenn Maxwell is she was never the asset.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So when they burned Jeffrey Epstein, they effectively burned her too.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Because for all intents and purposes, Jeffrey Epstein was her handler, right?
- 0:36Speaker 1: And when they burned him, that was the end for her.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And you would think that Glenn Maxwell would be quick
- 0:42Speaker 1: to give people up. But what kind of evidence would
- 0:45Speaker 1: she have to back up what she's saying? And remember,
- 0:49Speaker 1: we're talking about one of the most notorious liars, maybe
- 0:52Speaker 1: in history. All right, maybe that's a bit hyperbolic, but
- 0:55Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Can you imagine Tenny Garagos?
- 0:59Speaker 1: cross-examining Ghislaine Maxwell after she accused, insert famous or powerful
- 1:04Speaker 1: person here, it would be a wrap. The absolute savaging
- 1:09Speaker 1: that would occur on the stand would be monumental. And
- 1:13Speaker 1: I know that there's people out there that still wonder
- 1:15Speaker 1: why she's not talking. And the good news is, I
- 1:18Speaker 1: have an answer for that too. And the answer is,
- 1:22Speaker 1: because it would do her no good. She has a
- 1:26Speaker 1: credibility problem. And inside of the courtroom, Credibility is the currency.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So now we have Nigel Cawthorn, who's a royal biographer
- 1:36Speaker 1: over in the UK, who's saying that the biggest threat
- 1:40Speaker 1: to Prince Andrew at this point is Glenn Maxwell turning
- 1:43Speaker 1: on him. And when it comes to people in Epstein's circle,
- 1:46Speaker 1: if Maxwell has dirt on anyone, in my opinion, it's
- 1:50Speaker 1: most certainly Andrew. Will she give that information up? Well,
- 1:55Speaker 1: that's the question. Today's article is from The Express Magazine.
- 1:59Speaker 1: and the headline, Andrew Faces Worst Nightmare As Glenn Maxwell
- 2:03Speaker 1: May Testify In Epstein Case. This article was authored by
- 2:08Speaker 1: Mike Parker and Chiara Fiorillo. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may confront the
- 2:14Speaker 1: worst nightmare of his life regarding the Jeffrey Epstein scandal,
- 2:18Speaker 1: according to his biographer. Royal author, Nigel Cawthorn, suggests the
- 2:23Speaker 1: former prince could be pushed into not just a step
- 2:25Speaker 1: towards the bitter end, but a giant leap the thing
- 2:28Speaker 1: he has dreaded most now, seems certain to happen. Well,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I think that the only way Ghislaine says anything is
- 2:38Speaker 1: if she knows she's not getting a pardon and she
- 2:41Speaker 1: runs out of real estate. Because as loyal as Ghislaine
- 2:44Speaker 1: Maxwell is to the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family,
- 2:49Speaker 1: that loyalty only runs so deep, right? And when it
- 2:53Speaker 1: comes down to it, we all know that Ghislaine Maxwell
- 2:56Speaker 1: is one of the biggest Me First MFers since Jeffrey Epstein.
- 3:02Speaker 1: His caution comes after allegations in America that Epstein's former associate,
- 3:06Speaker 1: Elaine Maxwell, now has little choice but to go nuclear
- 3:09Speaker 1: and provide testimony about the deceased pedophile and his wealthy
- 3:13Speaker 1: and influential associates. It comes as Andrew was awarded $ 400, 000
- 3:18Speaker 1: in compensation after surrendering the Royal Lodge. Yeah, you know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I don't really care about all of that. That's between
- 3:25Speaker 1: him and his family. and it's really not something I'm
- 3:27Speaker 1: concerned about. If that's the number that they decided on, hey,
- 3:31Speaker 1: I don't care, I don't have to pay it. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: as long as it's not coming from the taxpayers of
- 3:35Speaker 1: the UK, then whatever. Then, of course, we run into
- 3:39Speaker 1: the problem of, how do we know it's not coming
- 3:41Speaker 1: from the taxpayers? Oh, well, the Crown told us. Oh,
- 3:44Speaker 1: is that right? The Crown also told you that Andrew
- 3:47Speaker 1: had nothing to do with Epstein. Maxwell, 64, experienced a
- 3:52Speaker 1: significant setback to her appeal for release in Or a
- 3:55Speaker 1: shortened sentence when a U.S. District Judge, Paul Engelmeyer, recently
- 3:59Speaker 1: dismissed her habeas corpus petition as patently frivolous in a
- 4:03Speaker 1: scathing 67-page opinion. And that's the opinion that we went through,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't know, a couple weeks ago, a week ago,
- 4:10Speaker 1: whatever it was. And it was damning, right? Judge Engelmeyer
- 4:16Speaker 1: didn't hold back. He basically said that Glenn Maxwell is
- 4:22Speaker 1: a no-good liar. and her whole entire case is without merit.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That's basically what he said in a nutshell. The former
- 4:30Speaker 1: British socialite's relatives have characterized the judge's determination as both
- 4:34Speaker 1: disappointing and shocking in a statement that noted that the
- 4:37Speaker 1: ruling also effectively seeks to preclude further appeal. Say one
- 4:42Speaker 1: thing about Ghislaine Maxwell. Say that she finds a way
- 4:44Speaker 1: to get appeals. I mean, can you imagine being a
- 4:48Speaker 1: regular person, having this many avenues to try and get
- 4:51Speaker 1: your freedom, after you've diddled kids, and brought kids to
- 4:54Speaker 1: be diddled. Like, what the fuck are we doing here?
- 4:58Speaker 1: How's this even a possibility? Oh, that's right. She has
- 5:02Speaker 1: some dough. She has some connections. She's part of the club.
- 5:07Speaker 1: This leaves Maxwell, who's already completed six years of a
- 5:11Speaker 1: 20-year federal prison term for child sex trafficking, essentially with
- 5:15Speaker 1: few alternatives beyond deciding to go nuclear and tell all.
- 5:19Speaker 1: According to leading U.S. private investigator and crime podcaster, Ed Opperman. Well,
- 5:24Speaker 1: you would think that a true crime podcaster would know better,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but here we are. Glenn Maxwell had a chance to
- 5:32Speaker 1: go nuclear, to tell it all. She didn't do it.
- 5:36Speaker 1: She was granted queen for a day. And during the
- 5:39Speaker 1: proffer session, she obviously didn't give anything up. So what
- 5:44Speaker 1: makes you think that now, after she's already been convicted,
- 5:47Speaker 1: her testimony is going to mean anything? I've seen this
- 5:50Speaker 1: dance too many times. If you have a witness who
- 5:53Speaker 1: is not credible, they're going to get absolutely hammered. I mean,
- 5:57Speaker 1: take a look at what happened to Daphne Joy. She
- 6:00Speaker 1: got absolutely worked on the stand. And she was an
- 6:03Speaker 1: alleged victim. Can you imagine the savaging that Maxwell would get?
- 6:08Speaker 1: Because she'd have to get on the stand and give
- 6:10Speaker 1: that testimony, right? In a court of law, in front
- 6:13Speaker 1: of jurors. And trust me when I tell you, there
- 6:15Speaker 1: would be a very colorful retelling of what Maxwell was
- 6:19Speaker 1: up to and what she did. Somebody like this is
- 6:23Speaker 1: not a credible witness. He noted that Maxwell has previously
- 6:28Speaker 1: stated in legal filings that she possesses detailed information about
- 6:32Speaker 1: a group of 25 untouchable men. That's not exactly what
- 6:35Speaker 1: she said, okay? She said that there was 25 different settlements.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Not that she has, you know, knowledge and in possession
- 6:42Speaker 1: of knowledge of all of those different settlements. A list
- 6:48Speaker 1: that does not include Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor and other influential figures
- 6:52Speaker 1: identified in Department of Justice records who reached secret settlements
- 6:55Speaker 1: with Epstein victims. It's people who signed NDAs. People like
- 6:59Speaker 1: Leon Black. People like Glenn Dubin. My guess is other people, right,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that have been credibly accused along the way. Those are
- 7:07Speaker 1: the people that have, you know, reached settlements with Epstein survivors.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And with those settlements, a lot of times, comes an NDA. Mr.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Opperman explained that's an absolute negotiating chip. She wants a pardon,
- 7:22Speaker 1: a sentence reduction, or a commutation. She doesn't want to
- 7:24Speaker 1: die in prison. Well, that ship has sailed. That ship
- 7:29Speaker 1: has sailed. Once you're a tainted witness, once you have
- 7:33Speaker 1: no credibility, and believe me, Maxwell came into this with
- 7:36Speaker 1: hardly any, it's a wrap. Can you imagine sitting on
- 7:40Speaker 1: a jury? Put yourself in those shoes for a minute, okay?
- 7:43Speaker 1: You're sitting on a jury. Glenn Maxwell makes these allegations.
- 7:47Speaker 1: about somebody like, let's say, just for example, Leon Black, okay?
- 7:53Speaker 1: Have you been paying attention to the way Leon Black's
- 7:55Speaker 1: lawyers go about their business? Have you seen the scorched
- 7:58Speaker 1: earth campaign they've run against the girl with mosaic down syndrome?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Have you seen what they did with Congress? Now imagine
- 8:07Speaker 1: what they would do to the bipedal serpent. Maxwell drew
- 8:13Speaker 1: the ire of bipartisan lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee
- 8:16Speaker 1: probing the Epstein matter in February when she invoked the
- 8:19Speaker 1: Fifth Amendment to every question via video link from herself
- 8:23Speaker 1: at Camp Bryan in Texas. Reports The Express, she was
- 8:27Speaker 1: never going to say a word. I told you guys
- 8:30Speaker 1: that from the beginning. What a waste of resources and
- 8:33Speaker 1: a waste of time. If Glenn Maxwell was going to chirp,
- 8:37Speaker 1: she was going to chirp before she went to prison.
- 8:40Speaker 1: When she sat down for Queen for a Day, She
- 8:42Speaker 1: could have proffered it all up, she could have admitted
- 8:44Speaker 1: to everything, and she probably would have got a deal.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But no, she didn't do that. So save the bullshit,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and save the nonsense about Ghislaine Maxwell being the only
- 8:54Speaker 1: person to get in trouble, she should have opened her mouth.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But instead, she decided she's going to take the fall,
- 9:00Speaker 1: so here we are. Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor has frustrated the same U.S.
- 9:05Speaker 1: politicians by failing to respond to a formal interview request
- 9:08Speaker 1: sent to him last November. Now he and other former
- 9:12Speaker 1: Epstein associates, who were discovered hanged in his New York
- 9:15Speaker 1: jail cell at age 66 in 2019 while awaiting sex
- 9:19Speaker 1: trafficking charges, will be shaking in their boots at the
- 9:23Speaker 1: possibility of Maxwell revealing everything in a final attempt to
- 9:26Speaker 1: secure her freedom, Mr. Opperman suggested. I just don't agree. Sorry,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I don't agree with that. I know Maxwell pretty well
- 9:36Speaker 1: at this point, and if that's what she was going
- 9:39Speaker 1: to do, we would have already seen signs of it.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Her lawyer would be talking about it, her family would
- 9:45Speaker 1: be talking about it, and there would be a lead-up.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nothing they do happens in a vacuum. That includes the
- 9:54Speaker 1: former Duke of York, according to royal author Nigel Cawthorn,
- 9:58Speaker 1: who's preparing a follow-up book to his 2020 bestseller Prince Andrew, Epstein,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Maxwell and the Palace. Andrew has strenuously denied any wrongdoing
- 10:07Speaker 1: in his relationship with the billionaire financier Epstein. Yeah, no,
- 10:11Speaker 1: no wrongdoing. None at all. Ah, don't worry about that
- 10:16Speaker 1: 17-year-old girl that was over at Glenn Maxwell's house. No
- 10:19Speaker 1: big deal. In an exclusive interview, Mr. Cawthorn stated, I
- 10:24Speaker 1: find it amazing that she has kept her mouth shut
- 10:27Speaker 1: for so long. She's got all the dirt on everyone
- 10:30Speaker 1: and spent years as Epstein's indispensable recruiter and groomer-in-chief. Well,
- 10:35Speaker 1: I don't think she has dirt on everyone. As I've
- 10:37Speaker 1: told you a million times, she wasn't in the meetings
- 10:40Speaker 1: with people like Ben Suleiman or with Adnan Khashoggi. Glenn
- 10:44Speaker 1: Maxwell had one function, to open the door for the
- 10:47Speaker 1: social world that Jeffrey Epstein wanted to enter. And she
- 10:50Speaker 1: did that. And then after that, well, we all know
- 10:54Speaker 1: what else happened. But to act like Elaine Maxwell was
- 10:57Speaker 1: like a partner in Epstein's enterprise as far as the
- 11:01Speaker 1: business side of it goes, or anything like that, that's crazy.
- 11:04Speaker 1: She most certainly was not. Elaine Maxwell was just another
- 11:08Speaker 1: useful tool in Jeffrey Epstein's shed. He continued, I believe
- 11:14Speaker 1: she deserved the sentence she got, but if she were
- 11:18Speaker 1: to come clean about everything at last... and walk free
- 11:21Speaker 1: into witness protection with a new identity, then the public
- 11:24Speaker 1: on both sides of the Atlantic, at least, finally would
- 11:27Speaker 1: have the truth. No, we wouldn't. You're assuming we could
- 11:30Speaker 1: believe her. And what this seems to me is some
- 11:33Speaker 1: kind of end around to try and get Ghislaine out.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And that's not going to work. You know when authors
- 11:38Speaker 1: talk about unreliable narrators? I think that Ghislaine Maxwell is
- 11:43Speaker 1: probably the most unreliable narrator of all time. Fucking Holden
- 11:47Speaker 1: Caulfield is more believable. than Ghislaine Maxwell. That follows the
- 11:54Speaker 1: former Duke's legal victory last week against Thames Valley Police,
- 11:57Speaker 1: one of several forces investigating him for alleged misconduct in
- 12:00Speaker 1: public office, who accepted, in the High Court, that search
- 12:04Speaker 1: warrants executed at both Royal Lodge and his new residence
- 12:07Speaker 1: on the King Sandringham Estate were unlawful, and information supplied
- 12:12Speaker 1: to the old Bailey to obtain them was incorrect. Well,
- 12:15Speaker 1: that's a whole ass other story. Like, what kind of
- 12:18Speaker 1: poor-ass police work's going on over there? What are you guys,
- 12:21Speaker 1: over in Canton? What is this, Massachusetts? Home of the
- 12:25Speaker 1: terrible police investigation? I mean, come on. If you can't
- 12:29Speaker 1: even get the Warren situation right, then how can we
- 12:33Speaker 1: have any confidence in you moving forward? Well, the easy
- 12:36Speaker 1: answer to that is, we don't have confidence in you.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Not in Scotland Yard, not in the SDNY, not in
- 12:43Speaker 1: the DOJ, not in the administration, and not in the Crown.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And even more so than that, you know what else
- 12:50Speaker 1: we don't have any confidence in? That anything coming from
- 12:53Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's mouth will contain the truth. All the information
- 12:58Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 13:00Speaker 1: description box.
