St Bernard Dogs Live On
In the Swiss Alps, the legendary St. Bernard dogs—once lifesavers of snowbound travelers—are now living legends at a brand-new museum celebrating their 100-year legacy. Born from the Great St. Bernard Hospice, these gentle giants saved hundreds of lives, with Barry the First alone credited with over 40 rescues. Today, the Barry Foundation cares for 32 dogs, each named Barry, and welcomes 20 puppies yearly.
