- 0:04Speaker 2: You know BT no how goes shout out oct no
- 0:06Speaker 2: real color?
- 0:07Speaker 1: What we see? Whole game? Wait, the baller blos some thing?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Oh, you can't stand on their homes. Fee, I already
- 0:12Speaker 2: know you came with me because with the squad of
- 0:14Speaker 2: me they get a little They called me.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Learn Hello, thank you for stopping by. For sure, we
- 0:25Speaker 3: are the Baller Alert Show. I'm Ocxavia March Ferrari Simmons.
- 0:30Speaker 1: You know BT.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Oh I heard podcast yes, and we are the ball
- 0:35Speaker 3: Alert Podcasting. We're just gonna talk a little bit about
- 0:37Speaker 3: podcasting today. So first for starters, what is the Baller
- 0:42Speaker 3: Alert Show?
- 0:43Speaker 4: We'll delve into that.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Uh, The Baller Show started in twenty sixteen. A couple
- 0:49Speaker 2: of employees eleven, she called me b some was actually
- 0:52Speaker 2: be someone was actually one of the original hosts and
- 0:55Speaker 2: this gentleman named Sticks Malone. And then that dismantled, and
- 1:00Speaker 2: then Kenny Burns revamped it grabbed oct kept me and
- 1:05Speaker 2: then we added sou Solo. Then it changed again. It
- 1:08Speaker 2: was just so Solo and myself in Octavia. Then it
- 1:12Speaker 2: changed again and we added BT. Then it changed again
- 1:16Speaker 2: and Solo found some other dope opportunities. She's currently on
- 1:21Speaker 2: the radio right now in Atlanta and Hennessy she's doing
- 1:24Speaker 2: a lot so and now down to this three right
- 1:27Speaker 2: here BT Octavia for our.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Simmons for sure, just for a little a little Big three,
- 1:32Speaker 3: just a little context. You know, when we started and
- 1:35Speaker 3: we went through so many changes.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Because a lot of our.
- 1:39Speaker 3: You know, ex hosts, they found other opportunities to have
- 1:42Speaker 3: their own you know, platforms and stuff like that, and
- 1:44Speaker 3: we support them whole heartily and we just continue to
- 1:48Speaker 3: you know, move forward in what we're doing. But we
- 1:51Speaker 3: don't knock what they're doing at all. And they're doing
- 1:53Speaker 3: some great things. Like you said, some Solo is on
- 1:56Speaker 3: the radio right now. She's on AMP, you know, so
- 1:58Speaker 3: is Kenny Burns has his own show on platform. And
- 2:01Speaker 3: you know, we moved on as the Big three BC
- 2:04Speaker 3: Rory myself and keeping the ball Alert.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Show moving and grooving.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, all right.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Let's talk about hosting, guys, a little bit of your
- 2:14Speaker 3: backgrounds and how it relates to you today.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So I've been on the radio for ten years here
- 2:20Speaker 2: in Atlanta. I worked at V one on three. I
- 2:21Speaker 2: worked at Streets Now four or five. I currently work
- 2:24Speaker 2: at a record label Warner Records. I'm the national director
- 2:27Speaker 2: of Lifestyle and Mixed Show Promotion. So my job is
- 2:30Speaker 2: basically to make sure DJs have the music that the
- 2:33Speaker 2: labels are promoting. I'm still hosting parties, I'm still DJM parties,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and I'm still doing the podcast. And on the podcast,
- 2:43Speaker 2: we just get on here and talk a lot of smack.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That's basically what I do to the podcast.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been in radio for over a decade and
- 2:53Speaker 3: I've always been in the background, though I've been on
- 2:56Speaker 3: the boards. I do audio engineering and production is my background.
- 3:00Speaker 3: And so when you hear even to this day, I've
- 3:02Speaker 3: started at Vvan No. Three and and I now work
- 3:05Speaker 3: at Streets ninety four or five. And when you hear
- 3:07Speaker 3: the commercials or anything of that nature, that's me the
- 3:11Speaker 3: station imaging, you know, going between songs. I do that.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I put all that on and I bring a lot
- 3:18Speaker 4: of that to the podcast.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Now, when I was tapped to do this, you know,
- 3:21Speaker 3: I was tapped to produce, but you know, with so
- 3:25Speaker 3: many things going on, I stepped up hosting and I
- 3:28Speaker 3: kind of do anything that we need, you know, filming.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I'm filming us right now. I you know, getting the
- 3:34Speaker 4: sound quality correct.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And when it comes to hosting, my style is to
- 3:39Speaker 3: humanize whoever we have coming on our platform. We get
- 3:43Speaker 3: a lot of reality stars, you know, who may be
- 3:48Speaker 3: judged a lot, you know for whatever you guys see
- 3:52Speaker 3: on TV.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I come in and I just try to get to know.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Who that person really is behind all of that stuff
- 3:59Speaker 3: that you know, people see on.
- 4:01Speaker 4: A regular basis. So that's kind of my host of style.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well, before you go, bet she so if you've seen
- 4:06Speaker 2: any of our clips, the little Boozy clips, the two
- 4:09Speaker 2: cy clips saying he likes regular girls and he doesn't
- 4:12Speaker 2: like if you've seen any of our clips go viral,
- 4:14Speaker 2: she's the person who produces clips. She's the one that
- 4:18Speaker 2: puts the little movie clips in it and it just
- 4:20Speaker 2: literally goes viral. So it's all her putting that shit.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh can we curse? No? Putting that stuff.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Together just creative. I just like to create. So yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 1: she's dope, I pretty much. I started doing radio in
- 4:35Speaker 1: Arkansas and then I eventually moved to Atlanta, and I
- 4:40Speaker 1: was on the radio in Atlanta for about maybe like
- 4:42Speaker 1: six years, and then I decided that the world is changing,
- 4:48Speaker 1: podcast is becoming, you know, such a powerful thing in
- 4:51Speaker 1: the world. And you know, I believe in myself and
- 4:55Speaker 1: I believe in if you got a dream, you shouldn't
- 4:58Speaker 1: wait for somebody to give you an opportunit. You should
- 5:00Speaker 1: create your own opportunity. And I remember I was on
- 5:03Speaker 1: the radio station part time and I was like, man,
- 5:07Speaker 1: they not doing anything with me, you know what I mean,
- 5:10Speaker 1: Like like I feel like, you know, I'm a superstar,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I feel like I can hold my own weight.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And you know, a lot of times you see a
- 5:17Speaker 1: lot of people are getting put in positions and you
- 5:19Speaker 1: just sitting back, you just waiting, and you just waiting
- 5:21Speaker 1: for your opportunity, and really you just wasting your time.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You know, because we live in a day and age
- 5:27Speaker 1: where we have the internet, we got these podcasts. You know,
- 5:30Speaker 1: people have a voice. You don't have to wait on
- 5:32Speaker 1: these big companies that make you sit and wait for
- 5:36Speaker 1: years and too. You know, somebody else just decide they
- 5:39Speaker 1: want to quit their job or they want to get fired,
- 5:41Speaker 1: and then they're gonna say, hey, you know, we'll give
- 5:44Speaker 1: you an opportunity. Now. I know you've been staying on
- 5:46Speaker 1: the sideline for ten years, but you know, now you
- 5:49Speaker 1: have an opportunity. But you know, that's why I really appreciate,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you know, Ferrari and the whole ball Alert team, because
- 5:56Speaker 1: Ferrari said, man, I think you would be a good
- 5:59Speaker 1: fit to do this, you know. And I remember doing
- 6:03Speaker 1: the show and I was like, man, this feels good.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It feels more modern, it feels more you know, like
- 6:08Speaker 1: evolution versus me just doing radio. And I remember I said,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you know, I just remember that day where I was
- 6:18Speaker 1: just like I was just fed up. I was like, man,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit on the sidelines. I'm watching people
- 6:23Speaker 1: on the internet and all these people are like growing
- 6:26Speaker 1: their followers, growing their fan base, and I'm just on
- 6:29Speaker 1: the radio station trying to figure out and wait on
- 6:32Speaker 1: my opportunity until I get a full time job. And
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, you know what, I don't want
- 6:38Speaker 1: to do this anymore. I think I'm gonna take my
- 6:39Speaker 1: chances and roll the dice on myself and get these
- 6:42Speaker 1: opportunities to interview. Because when I was on the radio,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I I never got the opportunities to interview anybody. I
- 6:48Speaker 1: just kind of felt somebody that was just treated like,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know, you ain't got the talent to do this.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So mecoming a ball alert. You know a lot of
- 6:58Speaker 1: the viral clips that we did, you know, with interviewing
- 7:02Speaker 1: Boo see and so many other people that.
- 7:04Speaker 2: When I say, uh, one of his most viral clips
- 7:07Speaker 2: was the DeAndre Sanders interview. I don't know if y'all
- 7:09Speaker 2: saw that. That went on every college television network when
- 7:13Speaker 2: she said it was killings on the Jackson State campus.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I don't know if y'all saw that clip. It was
- 7:18Speaker 2: on TMZ. BT asked her that question. I was actually
- 7:21Speaker 2: off that day. So you went viral quite a bit.
- 7:25Speaker 2: We went on t Z four times this year.
- 7:27Speaker 4: So dang Jock Queeze as well. Oh yeah, well TMZ
- 7:31Speaker 4: for Jock Queeze. When you said that about lm.
- 7:34Speaker 2: A yeah, question, No, that was that was that was
- 7:37Speaker 2: your question?
- 7:38Speaker 1: That's b T Yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Bo asked the questions. I don't I don't know how
- 7:41Speaker 2: you muster it up. But when we have the guests,
- 7:44Speaker 2: BT asked the question. I remember he asked for that
- 7:47Speaker 2: two times about the gunner. He asked babyface Ray about gunner,
- 7:50Speaker 2: like if it's a tough question or Errari.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Asked tough questions too, because he went, oh when you
- 7:56Speaker 3: was present, only.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Because I know Loto I know Flage, right, so I
- 8:02Speaker 2: know these people, right. So if I know you and
- 8:04Speaker 2: I know you, I'm and y'all break up. I'm gonna
- 8:06Speaker 2: ask you what happened to him? Because that's my friend
- 8:08Speaker 2: and you're my friend. That's what happened on the interview?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Why didn't Lotto put you in the video? And I
- 8:14Speaker 2: saw a lot of a couple of weeks later, she
- 8:16Speaker 2: was like, Ferrari, why you did all that? I was like, yo,
- 8:18Speaker 2: I just asked her a question. Do you guys not
- 8:20Speaker 2: want me to ask the question?
- 8:21Speaker 3: We do want you to ask the questions, and you
- 8:23Speaker 3: know what I have to do? Clip that up and
- 8:25Speaker 3: let everybody see.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Oh they would kill me in the comments too. They
- 8:29Speaker 2: was like, Ferrari, you being messy. But in reality, I
- 8:32Speaker 2: literally just said, why were you not in the video?
- 8:34Speaker 2: That's your home dog, that's your home team, but your homegirl,
- 8:38Speaker 2: Angel Reese was in the video and she don't even
- 8:40Speaker 2: know her like that, that's a real question, like why
- 8:43Speaker 2: are you not in the video?
- 8:45Speaker 4: There's nothing wrong with ask a question.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But sometimes in the comments, y'all, boy, when you work
- 8:50Speaker 2: for a big blog, which is ball Alert, because you
- 8:53Speaker 2: got remember we're separated we're not ball Alert, We're the
- 8:56Speaker 2: ball Alert podcast. We work for ball Alert. Sometimes when
- 9:00Speaker 2: the clips go on the ball or page, man them
- 9:03Speaker 2: comments go crazy. If you want to argue with everybody,
- 9:06Speaker 2: but man I argue. I ain't will I jump into
- 9:08Speaker 2: comments sometimes though for show.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to stay out of the comment I
- 9:12Speaker 1: don't even go into comments. I just for everybody else.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I don't think those people are real in the comments.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I don't think oh they real. They just they just
- 9:20Speaker 1: they real. They will never see you and say that
- 9:23Speaker 1: they just still live in the house with their mama.
- 9:24Speaker 1: They real.
- 9:25Speaker 4: They're not real.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I got a cousin in Florida. She literally has a
- 9:32Speaker 2: fake page and she goes in comments just to troll.
- 9:35Speaker 2: That's that's what she do.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Well.
- 9:36Speaker 3: The comments are mad at me and BT right now
- 9:39Speaker 3: because we refuse to touch a young woman who come
- 9:44Speaker 3: came on our show last week. Her name is Wet
- 9:46Speaker 3: Wet on Jocelyn's Cat.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Oh Yeah, on the Zoos Show, and she wanted us to.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Touch her breast and we kindly declined, And now everybody
- 9:54Speaker 3: in the comments are mad at us.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm not getting counseled. I'm telling I'm telling y'all right now.
- 9:59Speaker 1: She was trying to She came on the show and
- 10:01Speaker 1: the first thing she did was hold on, y'all, do
- 10:03Speaker 1: y'all want to touch my breast?
- 10:05Speaker 2: So people were saying on the show that she was
- 10:07Speaker 2: on that her her breast were like rocks, So she
- 10:11Speaker 2: wanted to come on a big platform to show yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 2: her breast was off. Yeah, that's the type of stuff
- 10:18Speaker 2: we be having to go on on on the show.
- 10:19Speaker 2: We have really good interviews, but unfortunately those don't get
- 10:22Speaker 2: the high views. It'd be the wildest, craziest stuff that
- 10:27Speaker 2: gets five hundred thousand views. And you know, sometimes you
- 10:30Speaker 2: remember we're ball Alert, so it's a blog and it's
- 10:33Speaker 2: news talking gossip. Unfortunately, the news doesn't all the way
- 10:37Speaker 2: go as high as you wanted to go. The gossip
- 10:39Speaker 2: goes through the roof.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So yeah, that's why I'm tired of people talking about
- 10:42Speaker 1: like you know, when I do read the comments, which
- 10:46Speaker 1: most of the time I don't read, people always sending
- 10:49Speaker 1: the comments like you know why you know why these
- 10:53Speaker 1: type of people are coming on the show and stuff
- 10:55Speaker 1: like that, And I say, because y'all watching, because you're watching,
- 10:59Speaker 1: Because if you're not watching, then these people would have
- 11:02Speaker 1: the opportunity to get these platforms like coming on the
- 11:05Speaker 1: ball Alert showing other platforms to even do stuff like that,
- 11:09Speaker 1: in my opinion, because I always look at a lot
- 11:12Speaker 1: of the interviews that we think, oh my god, we
- 11:15Speaker 1: got this big artist is gonna come on the show
- 11:18Speaker 1: and it's you know this, this interview is gonna go crazy,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and then you.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Know, it gets twenty thousand views. You'd be like, wait,
- 11:25Speaker 2: what happened?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you know he wants to see that.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But then Nicky Natural comes on and it goes three
- 11:30Speaker 2: hundred thousand views. Wow, she ain't really ain't even say
- 11:33Speaker 2: nothing the whole interview because.
- 11:35Speaker 3: What had a great story. We did highlight her story,
- 11:38Speaker 3: but people didn't want to see that. They wanted to
- 11:41Speaker 3: talk about why we wouldn't want to touch her.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, which is which is weird, especially in this council culture,
- 11:48Speaker 1: Like you you want us to touch a woman?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Gott bempressed on camera.
- 11:52Speaker 5: We'll be right back with more of the Baller Alert Show.
- 12:00Speaker 5: You're listening to a special edition of The Baller Alert.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Let's keep it pushing.
- 12:04Speaker 3: We're gonna talk about teamwork in podcasting, the chemistry amongst us.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I feel like like we said, we've been doing it
- 12:10Speaker 3: for a long time, but you know, I think we
- 12:13Speaker 3: forged friendships outside and it comes off great on camera.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta be really organized if you have a
- 12:19Speaker 2: big podcast and it's doing numbers or whatever you guys
- 12:22Speaker 2: do out there. If you're trying to do a podcast.
- 12:25Speaker 2: We got a group. We got two separate group chats.
- 12:28Speaker 2: The schedule, we got a schedule talent. We gotta show
- 12:31Speaker 2: up on times, actually not even on time. You gotta
- 12:33Speaker 2: get there at least an hour early. You got set up.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You know, it's on cameras, so we got four cameras.
- 12:38Speaker 2: We got four cameras, the microphones. I have to I
- 12:43Speaker 2: have to lie to the guests to get them to
- 12:45Speaker 2: show up on time. So I usually tell the guests
- 12:48Speaker 2: that's arriving. I tell them the wrong time. So whatever
- 12:52Speaker 2: time that they think that they're coming, they always show
- 12:55Speaker 2: up an hour later, because you know, that's just how
- 12:57Speaker 2: certain people are, especially when you're getting it's the entertainment industry, folks.
- 13:03Speaker 2: You got to give them the wrong time. So I'm
- 13:05Speaker 2: usually an hour and a half hour and then some
- 13:07Speaker 2: of them will come on time and then we're still
- 13:09Speaker 2: setting up, which is great. But for the most part,
- 13:12Speaker 2: everyone shows up late. So that's like a little gem
- 13:14Speaker 2: that I'll give you. Whenever you're booking talent, I do
- 13:18Speaker 2: an hour out because they will be late. They will
- 13:21Speaker 2: be We're in Atlanta, right in the middle of the city.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's always traffic in the middle of the afternoon. Our
- 13:26Speaker 2: shows around them, so it's always going to be traffic.
- 13:29Speaker 2: So I always do an hour out and then when
- 13:32Speaker 2: they show up an hour like, oh, I'm so sorry,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. Yeah, and I just look at them like, yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 2: you showed up on time.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I lie.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Come on.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Keep in mind the big artists show up on time.
- 13:41Speaker 1: That's crazy too, right, The big artist.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Jeezy came on time, Boozy was early, Country Wayne was
- 13:47Speaker 2: an hour early. And then you know these new guys,
- 13:51Speaker 2: they're a whole hour late.
- 13:54Speaker 1: They always late.
- 13:55Speaker 2: But you know, setting up the show and just us,
- 13:59Speaker 2: we just have to make sure we stick together and
- 14:01Speaker 2: overly communicate because we could be in an interview and
- 14:04Speaker 2: you know, it's three of us. We got to let
- 14:06Speaker 2: each other talk. We can't over talk each other. It's
- 14:09Speaker 2: a whole little dynamic that we got to create amongst
- 14:12Speaker 2: each other.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, it's definitely a team effort. Like Rory says,
- 14:16Speaker 3: he books the guest. You know, a lot of people
- 14:19Speaker 3: think they can come to me. They can come to
- 14:21Speaker 3: me and if they want to be on the show.
- 14:23Speaker 3: But I will kindly put them off on Rari because,
- 14:27Speaker 3: like I said, I'm a creative so I have to
- 14:29Speaker 3: you know, shoot the show. I'm setting up, you know,
- 14:32Speaker 3: early I'm there setting up. I'm thinking about content. You know,
- 14:36Speaker 3: the way the run of the show I'm creating, I'm
- 14:39Speaker 3: writing it. I am getting these guys together, and you know,
- 14:43Speaker 3: this is what we're gonna do today. This is what
- 14:44Speaker 3: we're gonna do today. And even when we're in the interview,
- 14:48Speaker 3: you know, we got to keep eye contact to know
- 14:49Speaker 3: when to move on.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Okay, next story.
- 14:52Speaker 3: You know, we don't have a lot of time to
- 14:53Speaker 3: spend spend on things, so it's a big team effort.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Before you go, bet, I will say real quick to remember,
- 15:01Speaker 2: ours is a news cycle, so our content has to
- 15:04Speaker 2: come out quick. So if we do an episode on Tuesday,
- 15:06Speaker 2: we got to drop Wednesday because if we wait till Friday,
- 15:09Speaker 2: that news cycle had then came out and it's old.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Y'all ain't even gonna or watch that. So our content
- 15:16Speaker 2: comes out ass and that is.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Very hard to do, especially when you're the only one
- 15:21Speaker 3: doing it and I don't have a team yet. So
- 15:24Speaker 3: a lot of times people see Baller Alert and they're like,
- 15:26Speaker 3: oh man, y'all got this.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Y'all got that. It's just us.
- 15:29Speaker 3: So as soon as we're done, I'm going and I
- 15:32Speaker 3: am on my computer and I am you know, going
- 15:36Speaker 3: through the content, sending it to Rory for posting, and
- 15:40Speaker 3: I'm creating the next thing, you know, like this this
- 15:43Speaker 3: is going to be out tonight or something, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 3: because it's like we got to get it quick because
- 15:48Speaker 3: it's such people forget so fast, you know, and then
- 15:51Speaker 3: your stuff.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Is old really quick.
- 15:53Speaker 1: One of the big things for us, you know we're
- 15:56Speaker 1: working together as a team, is also just remembering people
- 16:00Speaker 1: strong points. You know, when we do these interviews, I
- 16:03Speaker 1: always think about what's my strong point?
- 16:06Speaker 2: And to him too, he never shows up.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I was going to say that, but I was like, wait, wait,
- 16:10Speaker 1: you said what I lie to you? Okay, So some
- 16:14Speaker 1: time we was here, and when he was here, I
- 16:17Speaker 1: was getting.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Some breakfast, okay, tee.
- 16:21Speaker 1: It was just like you know, it was it was
- 16:24Speaker 1: bagels and fruit and stuff. Some healthy stuff, So go ahead,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I take my time. Anyways, I know everybody's strong suit,
- 16:30Speaker 1: so I know when we're doing these interviews, I know
- 16:33Speaker 1: what Octavia strong suit is and doing the interview, I
- 16:36Speaker 1: know Ferrari and I know mine. So a lot of times,
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know, people will say like, like the good things
- 16:42Speaker 1: that they would always say is like, man, you guys
- 16:44Speaker 1: did such a great interview, because most people cut off
- 16:48Speaker 1: the artists or people are like, you know, somebody's talking
- 16:52Speaker 1: about something. Then you you know, y'all see an interview.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I was like, damn, let the let the person talk.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I want to see like damn, you know. So that's
- 16:59Speaker 1: one of the main things that we always keep conscious about,
- 17:02Speaker 1: is like we gotta let the talent talk because y'all
- 17:04Speaker 1: watching it because of your favorite talent, no matter. I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I know we pretty cool too, but the majority of
- 17:10Speaker 1: the time, y'all watching it because of the talent that
- 17:13Speaker 1: y'all see on there. So we just always, you know,
- 17:15Speaker 1: try to communicate and let the talent talk, because I
- 17:19Speaker 1: think that's really important because some of the podcasts that
- 17:21Speaker 1: I watch, I'd be like, man, shed up, man, I
- 17:23Speaker 1: came here to watch Nicki Minaj talk or whoever talk
- 17:27Speaker 1: man like.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Man, I would say, I like for us, we always
- 17:30Speaker 2: try to strive to when you guys, you know, Cardi
- 17:33Speaker 2: b Is gonna do ten interviews, right, but when you
- 17:36Speaker 2: watch the one with us, I believe that ours will
- 17:39Speaker 2: be the best version of it should be the most
- 17:41Speaker 2: comfortable there because we ask the questions. It's comfortable, it's open,
- 17:46Speaker 2: and we allow them to talk and be themselves facts.
- 17:48Speaker 3: And you know, sometimes we don't always get it right.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Sometimes RARII myself or BT will you know, overtalk or something.
- 17:55Speaker 3: And it's nothing for me to pull one of these
- 17:58Speaker 3: guys aside and say, hey, that was a little much.
- 18:00Speaker 4: You know, let's let's try this better next time.
- 18:03Speaker 2: You'll do a mid interview.
- 18:04Speaker 1: She'll be like, right, no, they're very rich.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Flynn production mode. So I'm like cut instead of me.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I don't want to interrupt the flow of the energy
- 18:15Speaker 3: that's already going on in the interview, So I kind
- 18:18Speaker 3: of look like, check your phone.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You'll definitely get a text in men interview and the
- 18:23Speaker 1: interview like hey, rap this talking way too long.
- 18:26Speaker 4: The person is very chatty.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Okay, we have to cut them off because sometimes we'll
- 18:30Speaker 3: get people who just tangents, and I'm.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Like, law, yeah, and I'm glad that you mentioned that too,
- 18:34Speaker 1: because a lot of times it's like when when you're
- 18:37Speaker 1: when you're interviewing people, you're kind of writing a book.
- 18:40Speaker 1: So it's like, if people venture off too much on
- 18:43Speaker 1: what people want to listen to us as talent, we
- 18:47Speaker 1: know like, all right, come back to all right, let
- 18:49Speaker 1: me cut you off so we can reel you back in.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Because you get some of these artists in talent, they
- 18:54Speaker 1: talk a lot about nothing. You'll be like, wait, what
- 18:58Speaker 1: we trying to reflect? So accountability is really big with us,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and we hold everybody accountable after the interviews. And you know,
- 19:08Speaker 1: another little secret that we have too is you know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: when we interview or talk to somebody, we normally have
- 19:12Speaker 1: a conversation with those people before we even start filming,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and a lot of times we try to be like, man,
- 19:20Speaker 1: how can we how comfortable they were, how can we
- 19:23Speaker 1: get them to be on camera and be just as comfortable,
- 19:26Speaker 1: Because you might ask somebody an industry question and then
- 19:28Speaker 1: they give you a political thing and then you're like, wait,
- 19:31Speaker 1: whens is talking off camera and you see how you
- 19:34Speaker 1: really feel.
- 19:35Speaker 4: And a great example of that is who.
- 19:38Speaker 3: We just had miss Wet Wet from Joshly's cabaret, and
- 19:42Speaker 3: I told her, you know, she was a little late,
- 19:44Speaker 3: and you know, sometimes you get people who are late
- 19:47Speaker 3: and they.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Just nasty, and that's when I ain't got time for you,
- 19:51Speaker 4: and you're gonna get it. You're gonna get straight.
- 19:55Speaker 2: She was two hours late because she was already lied
- 19:57Speaker 2: to and she was an hour late for that. Then
- 20:00Speaker 2: she was two hours late. They was about to leave,
- 20:02Speaker 2: but she was so sweet.
- 20:03Speaker 4: I had to keep him there because I was at
- 20:05Speaker 4: least going to extend her grace.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I'll you know, when she came in, I was ready
- 20:08Speaker 1: to leave. I said, man, I don't know who missed
- 20:12Speaker 1: who missed Dry Dry. I'm ready to leave. She is
- 20:14Speaker 1: two hours late.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but she came in and she was very sweet.
- 20:17Speaker 3: So what I told her is, you know, this is
- 20:20Speaker 3: about what your your story, So however you want to
- 20:23Speaker 3: tell it, that's where we're going to go. That's how
- 20:24Speaker 3: I kind of like do all of our interviews. It's like,
- 20:27Speaker 3: this is a story about who you are. Your name
- 20:29Speaker 3: is at the title of this episode, not ours, so
- 20:32Speaker 3: it's all about you. So it's like, you know, however
- 20:35Speaker 3: you want to take this or do you want to
- 20:37Speaker 3: be who you are or do you want people to
- 20:40Speaker 3: see who you really are?
- 20:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's kind of how I steered the talent.
- 20:46Speaker 3: But let's get into how to make a podcast stand
- 20:49Speaker 3: out in an oversaturated market.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I think, of course we got help because it's ball alert,
- 20:55Speaker 2: right and baller has seven point eight million followers on Instagram,
- 20:59Speaker 2: one point eight million followers on Facebook, one point five
- 21:03Speaker 2: million followers on TikTok. I'm leaving out something, but it
- 21:07Speaker 2: definitely helps one hundred thousand subscribers on you. Hey, look,
- 21:11Speaker 2: so I want to give us some grace right now. Man.
- 21:13Speaker 2: When we started ball Alert less than a year ago
- 21:16Speaker 2: with the Corey that you got to see, we had
- 21:19Speaker 2: twenty thousand subscribers on YouTube, were about to hit one
- 21:21Speaker 2: hundred thousand subscribers. That's all us right here. No help?
- 21:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you hear it, snaps hit.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It Okay, okay.
- 21:29Speaker 4: They weren't sure how to how to work YouTube, right.
- 21:33Speaker 2: But I would say, you know, we try not to
- 21:36Speaker 2: get the viral moment, but if it happens, we just
- 21:39Speaker 2: expound on it. If it makes sense.
- 21:41Speaker 4: It's all about the bar.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I try not to be messy but if it gets there,
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask you the question.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So i' are you messy or do we have a
- 21:49Speaker 1: messy job?
- 21:49Speaker 2: I gotta I have a messy job, Like my job
- 21:52Speaker 2: is to ask you the question. You guys don't want
- 21:53Speaker 2: to watch an interview that's just basic.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Ferrari don't mind getting his hands dirty. He is all
- 21:59Speaker 4: about it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I've been around in the industry for a long time,
- 22:02Speaker 2: so I have relationships with a lot of these people anyway,
- 22:04Speaker 2: So I feel like I'm valid with asking that question.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 22:07Speaker 2: So if I feel like I'm asking you and I'm
- 22:09Speaker 2: not asking you to be messing, I'm asking you because
- 22:12Speaker 2: I want to answer, and y'all want to answer. You
- 22:14Speaker 2: don't want to hear a rudimentary answer. You want to
- 22:17Speaker 2: hear JEZI say, damn, me and my wife going through
- 22:21Speaker 2: the divorce, not no comment. You want to watch that,
- 22:25Speaker 2: and guess what, you're probably be inclined to watch it
- 22:28Speaker 2: the whole interview if you see a cliffhanger in the beginning.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Because A does a really good job, she puts the
- 22:34Speaker 2: trailer in the beginning of the episode to make you
- 22:37Speaker 2: watch the episode. We had Nia Kay and I'm in
- 22:40Speaker 2: my part. She started crying on our episode that just
- 22:43Speaker 2: came out today, yes right yesterday. She was used to
- 22:46Speaker 2: be on The Rap Game with Jermaine Dupris. She cried
- 22:48Speaker 2: on the episode because her and her dad's relationship is
- 22:51Speaker 2: not well. She put it in the beginning of the episode.
- 22:55Speaker 2: So she does a lot of things to get people
- 22:57Speaker 2: drawn in for you to say, Okay, I want to
- 22:59Speaker 2: watch that. That looks like it's a great interview, and
- 23:01Speaker 2: that motivates me. When you guys in the comments, I
- 23:04Speaker 2: don't know if anyone is here that comments, but we
- 23:06Speaker 2: get a lot of comments that says great interview. So
- 23:08Speaker 2: that's my motivation.
- 23:10Speaker 3: No, definitely, you have to grab the audience's attention, like
- 23:13Speaker 3: what is going to make you stand out amongst every
- 23:15Speaker 3: other podcast. I'm a podcast watcher. Not only I watch them,
- 23:19Speaker 3: I listen to them. And it's just like, you know,
- 23:21Speaker 3: what can I do to you know, draw people in,
- 23:24Speaker 3: even if it's just for a minute. Let me just
- 23:26Speaker 3: show you what this is about, so you know how
- 23:29Speaker 3: crazy Boots he is. I'm gonna just put how crazy
- 23:32Speaker 3: and a fool he acted on a minute for a
- 23:36Speaker 3: minute duration so you can see it real quick and
- 23:39Speaker 3: decide do I want to continue to watch this or
- 23:42Speaker 3: do I just want to click off?
- 23:43Speaker 4: But most of the time people just stay and watch.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with both of you guys. I think
- 23:49Speaker 1: what's really important, especially when you have a podcast and
- 23:52Speaker 1: you're trying to grow, I think great content. So a
- 23:56Speaker 1: lot of the questions that I ask I always envision
- 23:59Speaker 1: my self if I was somebody, you know, that was
- 24:03Speaker 1: a regular person, was a fan of this, this artist
- 24:06Speaker 1: or this you know, influencer, what would I want to
- 24:09Speaker 1: ask them if I was sitting right in front of them, Like,
- 24:12Speaker 1: what would I want to ask? Not what I think
- 24:15Speaker 1: or what's my opinion on this person? But I always think, like,
- 24:18Speaker 1: what do people on the internet really want to ask
- 24:20Speaker 1: this person if they were sitting right in front of
- 24:22Speaker 1: you know, somebody like a job queist. Because I asked him,
- 24:25Speaker 1: I said, you know, I said, man, they always play
- 24:28Speaker 1: with you on the internet. And he said, yeah, you know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: I wonder I was just talking about that before I
- 24:32Speaker 1: came up here. What made people start like, you know,
- 24:36Speaker 1: messing with me on the internet? King R and B?
- 24:39Speaker 1: And he said, he said, I think it's when I
- 24:41Speaker 1: said I was a King of R and B. And
- 24:42Speaker 1: I said, yeah, you fed up when you said that.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And it's like I feel like, you know, most people
- 24:47Speaker 1: wouldn't talk to joh Queize like that. But you know,
- 24:49Speaker 1: we have a personal relationship, and a lot of the
- 24:52Speaker 1: talent have a personal relationship. And I always tell them, like,
- 24:54Speaker 1: if you come on the show, let's give the people
- 24:57Speaker 1: a show. Let's give them what they want. People want
- 25:00Speaker 1: to watch us for the show. Don't just come up
- 25:03Speaker 1: here and be like all political, like you had a
- 25:05Speaker 1: radio station. Like, yeah, man, I don't know.
- 25:07Speaker 2: We had one bad interview, the Anne Marie interview. Is
- 25:10Speaker 2: that that's still up from your team?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the hell, you don't know. It was bad.
- 25:15Speaker 4: It didn't look bad.
- 25:16Speaker 2: It didn't look bad, but man, y'all she came in there.
- 25:19Speaker 2: She came in there and said nothing to us, like
- 25:22Speaker 2: she was just real monotone.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Almost two hours later she was late too.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so it was yeah, we had We had bad
- 25:29Speaker 2: interviews too sometimes.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but the interview is bad because of the talent.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You know, I always tell talent it's like, you know,
- 25:35Speaker 1: when you come on an interview, it's like like this
- 25:38Speaker 1: is a TV show, right, I don't look at this
- 25:40Speaker 1: as a podcast. This is a TV show. You know,
- 25:42Speaker 1: we're becoming more uh evolved into like watching TV on
- 25:47Speaker 1: our phones now, So I always tell people like, this
- 25:49Speaker 1: is a TV show, So what's gonna be interesting for
- 25:52Speaker 1: people to watch this show versus everybody else? And I
- 25:55Speaker 1: think that's what makes us so different with our podcast
- 25:58Speaker 1: is we're entertaining segments. So we're gonna get on here
- 26:01Speaker 1: and we're gonna talk about We're gonna get the guests
- 26:03Speaker 1: and we're gonna say, Okay, what do you think about
- 26:06Speaker 1: what's going on in the media with this and this
- 26:08Speaker 1: and this and that, and a lot of times you
- 26:10Speaker 1: don't get a chance to see like your favorite artists
- 26:13Speaker 1: or your favorite influencer talk about, you know, topics, the
- 26:16Speaker 1: same thing that we see like oh man, did you
- 26:18Speaker 1: see this on the internet? Like what do you think
- 26:20Speaker 1: about this? And because you know, a lot of times
- 26:22Speaker 1: the talent they're always trying to like hide and be
- 26:24Speaker 1: hitting and be like, hey, just.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Watch my movies or just listen to my music.
- 26:28Speaker 1: No, man, what you think about what we've seen with
- 26:31Speaker 1: Blue Face and Chris Sean Rock what you think.
- 26:33Speaker 5: We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of The
- 26:36Speaker 5: Baller Alert Show. You're listening to a special edition of
- 26:46Speaker 5: the Baller Alert Show.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Does anybody have any questions in the audience?
- 26:50Speaker 1: What's your question?
- 26:52Speaker 4: Should we deal with Amory not talking?
- 26:55Speaker 1: You know, you know what it is like. You know,
- 26:57Speaker 1: it's like how you like how you getting ready for
- 26:59Speaker 1: work and you know when you're late, you just hear
- 27:01Speaker 1: you up, throwing some clothing and go outside. That's how
- 27:04Speaker 1: you deal with interviews with people that you know. It's
- 27:08Speaker 1: very much of a dry conversation. You just hear you up,
- 27:11Speaker 1: put on your clothes and lead.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Just like having a bad customer, depending on where you
- 27:14Speaker 2: work at, just having a bad customer, man, it's same thing.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Just yeah, do your job and move on.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Now, what was your What's what's your question?
- 27:23Speaker 4: Is it more important to be consistent or or have.
- 27:27Speaker 2: The moment I was? I would say both.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I think.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I think if you're consistent you will get the moment.
- 27:33Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, consistent man. You know, listen, guys,
- 27:37Speaker 2: if you guys really to answer your question, watch our
- 27:39Speaker 2: Country Wayne interview. Please go on ball Alert TV on
- 27:43Speaker 2: YouTube and look for the interview when we interview Country Wayne. Listen, man,
- 27:48Speaker 2: you can make it. You guys, are losing out on
- 27:50Speaker 2: a whole bunch of money out here, like six pieces
- 27:53Speaker 2: of content today though minimum three three posts a day. Dog,
- 27:59Speaker 2: I literally started my Facebook. And keep in mind, we
- 28:02Speaker 2: all have our separate facebooks, right, Instagrams and stuff like that.
- 28:05Speaker 2: But we got the Baller Show on Instagram, Ballert on YouTube,
- 28:08Speaker 2: and I'll keep it quick by saying I started posting
- 28:11Speaker 2: consistently on my Facebook fan page. I went from like
- 28:15Speaker 2: three thousand followers. I just hit fifty one thousand today
- 28:18Speaker 2: and I just started doing that six months ago. That's
- 28:21Speaker 2: because I'm posting three pieces of content every day, and
- 28:24Speaker 2: I don't know which one reacts. I just post the
- 28:27Speaker 2: band B one to react. And sometimes it's not even
- 28:29Speaker 2: I'm not even in the clip. B t'sing the clip.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Sometimes I Tava is in the clip. Sometimes it's not
- 28:33Speaker 2: even about me. It's just about the clip.
- 28:35Speaker 4: And what we do is I get.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I just try to at least give us from one show.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I try to at least do ten videos that we
- 28:42Speaker 3: can postyep. So out of those ten, at least three
- 28:46Speaker 3: gonna go viral.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I agree. And Facebook and Instagram is not the same.
- 28:51Speaker 2: What may work on that platform and not work Snapchat.
- 28:54Speaker 4: You know TikTok, you can get you some money on
- 28:57Speaker 4: Facebook though, Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so awesome.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Yet, No, I was just asking about the content, Like, so,
- 29:03Speaker 6: whenever you have the initial podcast episode, what's your approach
- 29:06Speaker 6: to like breaking this down? So, for example, on the
- 29:09Speaker 6: thickest these podcast, we have the full length, then we
- 29:11Speaker 6: break it into like three or four horizontals depending on
- 29:14Speaker 6: like specific things we're talking about, and then we then
- 29:17Speaker 6: we break that also into you know, seven to fourteen
- 29:21Speaker 6: vertical clips per week.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So I was curious what your approach was.
- 29:24Speaker 3: So when I'm sitting when I'm writing the podcast, I'm
- 29:28Speaker 3: interviewers coming in, I'm thinking about, you know, I'm gonna
- 29:31Speaker 3: ask this question, or he's going to ask this question,
- 29:34Speaker 3: wherever the question is. I'm always in the moment, Like
- 29:36Speaker 3: when i'm producing it in real time, when I'm sitting
- 29:38Speaker 3: there hosting, I'm already thinking about how what I'm gonna post.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Or sometimes I'll be like, hey, guys, what do you
- 29:44Speaker 3: guys think? You know, what is your favorite part of
- 29:47Speaker 3: today's show? They'll tell me and I'll cut it up
- 29:49Speaker 3: for them and then but I'll just go through the
- 29:52Speaker 3: whole thing and I'll just break it up, Like I'll
- 29:56Speaker 3: do one big combined like a trailer that's going to
- 29:59Speaker 3: be a post because every you know, if you could
- 30:01Speaker 3: just see what the whole episode was.
- 30:02Speaker 4: About in one video one minute, then that's gonna.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Either draw you in to go see the full video
- 30:09Speaker 3: or you know, that'll just be alike for that part
- 30:12Speaker 3: of social media. But yeah, like I'm sitting there as
- 30:16Speaker 3: I'm doing the show and thinking about clipping things, as
- 30:20Speaker 3: I'm saying things what I want to see, you know
- 30:23Speaker 3: from this show or whatever, in real time, I'm clipping
- 30:27Speaker 3: everything up.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I heard y'all mentioned a few times like relationships. I
- 30:30Speaker 2: wanted to know some like key points to building relationships
- 30:33Speaker 2: in your opinion, building relationships with just people in general.
- 30:38Speaker 1: The talent.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Talk about talent, just hey, I'm a shark, you know,
- 30:41Speaker 2: a shark like I will literally walk up to somebody
- 30:44Speaker 2: and be like, bro, I'm I work a ball, or
- 30:46Speaker 2: what's up? You coming on the show?
- 30:49Speaker 4: Ri is a genius.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I don't care. I might see somebody in the hallway.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I just saw a little duvall I said, bro, you
- 30:55Speaker 2: got come on the show?
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you definitely what a lot of yeah, with a
- 31:00Speaker 1: lot of talent, you just gotta be real direct because
- 31:02Speaker 1: you got to understand these people have tons of people
- 31:05Speaker 1: coming up to them every day. So I use the
- 31:08Speaker 1: same approach, Like I host a lot of big parties
- 31:11Speaker 1: in Atlanta, so if a talent comes in, Like I remember,
- 31:15Speaker 1: Ferrari was like, Yo, we gotta get Nick Cannon and
- 31:17Speaker 1: I said, oh, I got a party with Nick Cannon tonight.
- 31:19Speaker 1: So I said, hey, Nick, you gotta come on the show.
- 31:23Speaker 1: And he was like, all right, take my number. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: was like, okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 31:30Speaker 2: We really plan it out for it.
- 31:31Speaker 4: That's the easy part. Or does the harp on people?
- 31:35Speaker 4: He doesn't mind hearing no twenty times? You tell me
- 31:39Speaker 4: no a couple of times, I'm like, man, forget this person.
- 31:42Speaker 3: But and you need somebody like that who does not
- 31:47Speaker 3: care about hearing no twenty million times.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Rari is consistent and he gets the guests, like all
- 31:53Speaker 4: of our big guests is because of him.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I literally annoyed the hell out of you until you say, yes,
- 31:58Speaker 2: you're not.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Going to tell him about the the boosy? How long
- 32:01Speaker 1: we had to wait? TIDB And that was one of
- 32:02Speaker 1: our biggest interviews. So you know, again being on the
- 32:07Speaker 1: radio for a long time. Little Boozy knows me obviously,
- 32:09Speaker 1: So every time I would see him, I know his manager,
- 32:12Speaker 1: a bro, I need I need Boozy on the show.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I need Boozy on the show. I'm just literally texting Boozy.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I'm texting his manager when I see him, I needs
- 32:18Speaker 2: you on the show. So I saw that he was
- 32:21Speaker 2: doing a radio run and he was at V one
- 32:24Speaker 2: O three local radio station here. So I facetip of
- 32:27Speaker 2: me and so I hit his manager. I said, I
- 32:28Speaker 2: know you out food, answer the phone. He answered the phone, Hey, bro,
- 32:33Speaker 2: bring him the ball alert. All right, we're gonna do
- 32:35Speaker 2: it for We're gonna do it tomorrow. I said tomorrow,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and I put him in the chat. It was an
- 32:38Speaker 2: off day for us because we usually do Tuesdays and Thursday.
- 32:41Speaker 2: So I was like, hey, we got Boozy tomorrow. What's up.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Everybody was like, hell yeah, let's do it. And that's
- 32:46Speaker 2: how I did it.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I just gotta be gonna show up. They didn't believe me.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Let me just say something real quick.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Ferrari is so special to us because not only he
- 32:55Speaker 3: works twenty four to seven, he has a family. He
- 32:57Speaker 3: has kid, twenty kids, fifth kid, household to obtain.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yes, you know what I'm saying.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Yes, And you know he still makes us a party
- 33:09Speaker 3: and he has a full time job doing label work
- 33:12Speaker 3: as well.
- 33:12Speaker 2: So that's my passion the podcast. I that's me. You
- 33:17Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. I love I love it. You know.
- 33:19Speaker 2: The other stuff is cool. My family comes first, obviously,
- 33:22Speaker 2: but next in line is this right here, because it
- 33:24Speaker 2: makes me feel happy to get in front of the
- 33:26Speaker 2: microphone and have a great interview. My my goal is
- 33:30Speaker 2: the great interview. Every time she had a question here,
- 33:34Speaker 2: what do you think was your most influential interview that
- 33:37Speaker 2: you have done thus far? Damn, that's a good one, man.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'll let you all go first first. I gotta think
- 33:43Speaker 1: y'all just gonna put me on the up. Okay, okay,
- 33:46Speaker 1: So the most influential interview I mean, I would say
- 33:51Speaker 1: personally for me, I would give like my moment is
- 33:53Speaker 1: when I did the DeAndre Sanders interview, because that was
- 33:57Speaker 1: I was still kind of like new to like being
- 33:59Speaker 1: a a co host on the show, and I didn't
- 34:02Speaker 1: I seen that interview on TMZ. I seen it was
- 34:07Speaker 1: everywhere that went nationwide. Yeah, that was that was a
- 34:09Speaker 1: nationwide interview. I've seen. It had like over twenty thousand
- 34:12Speaker 1: people talking about it on Twitter.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Her forreniers almost came out on the episode.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Oh she had to get surgery the next day to
- 34:20Speaker 4: get them.
- 34:21Speaker 2: She had she has.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But I think to me, that was the most influential
- 34:24Speaker 1: interview because that really showed me and taught me that, like,
- 34:28Speaker 1: you know, like I know what I'm doing.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Oh damn, you going straight to me. So if I'm
- 34:35Speaker 2: saying football alert, I would say g Z. I have
- 34:39Speaker 2: a personal relationship with Jiz. He has a talent agency
- 34:41Speaker 2: and I was able to sign to him, and I
- 34:44Speaker 2: traveled the country with him quite a few times, and
- 34:48Speaker 2: I was able to give him his flowers on camera,
- 34:52Speaker 2: And I just thought that that was a dope moment
- 34:53Speaker 2: for me. It was a little closer to home than usual,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but we've had some of my most fun It would
- 34:58Speaker 2: be a little boozy because he's been waiting on that
- 35:00Speaker 2: one and he gave us everything we needed. Like the Chinese.
- 35:04Speaker 2: He said he wanted Chinese baby mama. That went viral.
- 35:07Speaker 2: He don't want to have sex with Rihanna nom he
- 35:10Speaker 2: just likes her. He that went viral. Like literally everything
- 35:13Speaker 2: on his interview went viral. I can never run out
- 35:17Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 35:18Speaker 1: You know what else too. To add on to the
- 35:20Speaker 1: Boosy interview, A lot of y'all probably see like Boosy
- 35:22Speaker 1: interviews like on Blad TV shout out to gets paid
- 35:26Speaker 1: for those. We didn't have to pay him, so we don't.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Pay for any of our guests, by the way.
- 35:31Speaker 1: That's a fact. But Boozy, I was like, man, I
- 35:34Speaker 1: wonder if he gonna give us the like the Blad
- 35:38Speaker 1: TV Boosy man, you know what I mean? Like, I'm like,
- 35:40Speaker 1: I don't know how he goes because a lot of
- 35:41Speaker 1: times you will see talent you like, I don't know
- 35:43Speaker 1: how they gonna act when they come in here. But
- 35:46Speaker 1: I said, oh, when he started, he know, on the
- 35:48Speaker 1: table and he starts saying like gunners a rat.
- 35:51Speaker 2: And all this, I was like, yeah, I was like,
- 35:54Speaker 2: oh he oh, y'all want to laugh, please go watch
- 35:56Speaker 2: the interview. That's our highest one, I think, yeah, yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 2: he is the highest.
- 36:00Speaker 3: I think the one with most influence. I like all
- 36:03Speaker 3: of them because I learned something new from every single show.
- 36:06Speaker 3: But I really enjoyed a Country Wayne because he gave
- 36:09Speaker 3: a lot of knowledge. Watch g maguire definitely watched that one.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Because she tells a story, and I am a storyteller.
- 36:19Speaker 3: She tells the story. We just kind of gave the
- 36:22Speaker 3: outline and.
- 36:23Speaker 4: She filled in the blanks like completely.
- 36:26Speaker 3: So uh, that is I feel like one of my
- 36:29Speaker 3: favorite episodes because she really you can see and vision everything.
- 36:33Speaker 4: That she said, and she gave us so much game.
- 36:36Speaker 4: We always see her out. She's very she's very kind.
- 36:40Speaker 3: So yeah, and and Country Wayne, of course, he gave
- 36:43Speaker 3: us very a lot of game.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Sorea to sore, Oh yeah, Sorea also a lot of
- 36:48Speaker 1: told us that she wasn't.
- 36:51Speaker 3: She just broke up with But she just broke up
- 36:53Speaker 3: with Jacob, so I don't think she wanted to say
- 36:55Speaker 3: she was dating the other guy.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Coming on the show. But they're saying, we're we're done,
- 37:00Speaker 1: We're we can do more? Can we do one more questions?
- 37:03Speaker 1: Can we do one more game? Got a job? Man? Idiots?
- 37:07Speaker 1: Anybody last last question? Do you always have to be
- 37:11Speaker 1: like a celebrity to get that interview?
- 37:13Speaker 2: I mean, suppose you go through the store or whatever
- 37:15Speaker 2: and you just question something interesting.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Would you ask, like come on our show?
- 37:18Speaker 4: Absolutely not?
- 37:19Speaker 1: Like you said, do you have to be a what
- 37:21Speaker 1: Celemberty to get on the show? Like, you know, act
- 37:23Speaker 1: like a fool or whatever, you know what I mean?
- 37:25Speaker 1: Because all, no, we don't.
- 37:27Speaker 2: It gotta make sense though, yeah, because I would say
- 37:30Speaker 2: the type of views and the people who rock with
- 37:33Speaker 2: us or not us. I'm talking about the brand and
- 37:35Speaker 2: what we put out. They want to be entertained. So
- 37:38Speaker 2: what it would have to make sense, you know what
- 37:40Speaker 2: I'm saying. It just ain't gonna be no random person.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You gotta have something going on for sure, for sure.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Okay, smaller at Ferrari Yeah, you can bother me the
- 37:49Speaker 3: wrap up signal right now.
- 37:50Speaker 4: I'm Octavia March.
