- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to Untraditionally Lala. Hello,
- 0:05Speaker 1: my love, it is Laala Kent. Welcome to the bonus
- 0:07Speaker 1: episode of Untraditionally Lala. I am still here with a
- 0:11Speaker 1: fan favorite of all the housewives in the world, Angik Welcome.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I love Hey, thank you? What an infro? Thank you?
- 0:19Speaker 1: I love a good intro for a fabulous chick. So
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'm just going to ask you some like rapid fire questions,
- 0:27Speaker 1: nothing that's going to throw you off guard. My first
- 0:29Speaker 1: one is who is the soup man?
- 0:32Speaker 3: I wish I knew, and if you find out, please
- 0:35Speaker 3: tell me.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hopefully Lisa will tell me. I'm dying to know.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I want to know too, And I immediately went to
- 0:42Speaker 1: Seinfeld as well, because I'm a huge Seinfeld fan. So
- 0:45Speaker 1: when Meredith popped up in her confessional, She's like, isn't
- 0:48Speaker 1: that Seinfeld? I was like, all right, same page. I
- 0:50Speaker 1: love it. Did you sell your house?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Not yet?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Are we in a rush to sell it? No?
- 0:58Speaker 2: And that's why I mean it. It's kind of we
- 1:00Speaker 2: told our daughter we do this for its property.
- 1:03Speaker 3: If this worked out, if we just put the house
- 1:05Speaker 3: for what we wanted for and wanted to selt for
- 1:08Speaker 3: and got it. But also it's kind of a crazy
- 1:11Speaker 3: market for the price range our houses in. You know,
- 1:13Speaker 3: I think it may not be a seller friendly, so
- 1:16Speaker 3: it may take a little longer. And if it happens,
- 1:18Speaker 3: it happens. If it doesn't, we love our house.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I love that the universe will place you exactly where
- 1:24Speaker 1: you're supposed to be.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I won't be having Brittany do it anytime soon, but
- 1:27Speaker 3: thanks for her advice.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I can't imagine why this is my own question, what
- 1:31Speaker 1: lip gloss do you wear? Because it's fabulous and your
- 1:34Speaker 1: lips look so soft and like glass every I love this.
- 1:38Speaker 3: This is Watermelon by Lawless and my makeup art is
- 1:43Speaker 3: turned me onto it and I love it. It's it's
- 1:45Speaker 3: the best.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Okay you have? You have to take a picture and
- 1:48Speaker 1: send me a link on web bram.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I also love cotton candy. Bye Onnastasia.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Okay, please send me all like your makeup is always
- 1:56Speaker 1: so freaking good and I can't evenderstand it.
- 1:58Speaker 2: It's a good close up is a good thing.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's always good. Is there a reason we don't see
- 2:04Speaker 1: much of Sean this season?
- 2:06Speaker 3: You know? I think he's coming more into the picture
- 2:09Speaker 3: in the next episode. A lot of you know what
- 2:12Speaker 3: I was going through this season, you know, getting my
- 2:15Speaker 3: citizenship and my daughter's reaction to that, which I wasn't expecting.
- 2:21Speaker 3: That brought Electra more into my storyline and my dad
- 2:25Speaker 3: obviously more into my storyline because I'm working on getting
- 2:27Speaker 3: my citizenship in Greece, So it really has been a
- 2:31Speaker 3: lot more about my dad an Electra. But I think
- 2:33Speaker 3: Sean is coming either tonight or maybe in the next week.
- 2:36Speaker 1: By the way, though, I your dad is like one
- 2:39Speaker 1: of my most favorite cast members.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, thank you for saying that.
- 2:43Speaker 3: It's so special that I get to film with him,
- 2:46Speaker 3: that I get to share him with the world. And
- 2:48Speaker 3: he's just he loves it and he's a sweetheart. It's
- 2:51Speaker 3: been neat to pull this information out of him, and
- 2:55Speaker 3: a lot of people have just really related to, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 3: what he went through, and they have similar stories.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So yeah, it's a it's a wonderful story. And he
- 3:03Speaker 1: has he has the sweetest eyes.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Oh doesn'ty though, thank you? I'm gonna tell me you
- 3:08Speaker 2: said that, please do.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I Like, I love every scene that you guys have together.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 3:14Speaker 3: That's that's where I'm the most comfortable, you know, with
- 3:16Speaker 3: my family.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm so happy we get to see it.
- 3:19Speaker 1: How do you balance filming and being a mom? That's
- 3:22Speaker 1: got to be tough, because I'm struggling with it right now.
- 3:24Speaker 3: You know, when I got on wive Swap, I was
- 3:27Speaker 3: at just wrapped Salt Lake and I started wive Swap
- 3:30Speaker 3: and I was just at like burning the candle both
- 3:33Speaker 3: ends by that point, and I was just so emotional.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I was feeling like, I, you know, I needed to
- 3:39Speaker 3: be an octopus.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And have eight hands.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a lot. And I like to eat
- 3:43Speaker 3: at home. I like to cook food at home. I
- 3:45Speaker 3: love to be home. I do my own laundry. Uh
- 3:48Speaker 3: you know, I want to show up to everything for Electra.
- 3:50Speaker 3: So it is a lot of pressure and I have
- 3:53Speaker 3: to do things like I have to pre plan everything.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I have to say it late and get the laundry done.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I mean, it just takes a lot more organization. Like
- 4:02Speaker 3: right now, I have a lot going on today and
- 4:04Speaker 3: I thought, okay, I got a pre do Electro's meal
- 4:06Speaker 3: before she gets home from school so it's ready because
- 4:08Speaker 3: by that time I've got to be on another call.
- 4:11Speaker 3: So it just takes a lot of thought and organization
- 4:14Speaker 3: and yeah, a lot of energy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Really.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I just I'm never sitting. I'm always going, yeah, because
- 4:21Speaker 3: I don't want to miss a moment.
- 4:23Speaker 2: You know.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I don't blame you. It's all so fleeting and I'm
- 4:26Speaker 1: struggling with the mom guilt right now and it's like
- 4:29Speaker 1: crushing my soul. So I think you're killing it and
- 4:32Speaker 1: I think you need to hear that today.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Well, thanks for saying that, you know.
- 4:35Speaker 3: And I try and be present when I'm with her
- 4:37Speaker 3: as much as I can, and try not to like
- 4:39Speaker 3: talk about the show in front of her or be
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know, I just don't want to make it a
- 4:44Speaker 3: thing so she doesn't feel like it's taken our life
- 4:46Speaker 3: over right, and that takes I have to stay conscious
- 4:49Speaker 3: to do that, you know.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I love that, Angie. That's very sweet.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:54Speaker 1: What is your hair wash routine? You have amazing hair.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I'm like you, I wish, I wish postpartum has kicked
- 5:02Speaker 1: my ass.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's rough, isn't it. Well you're sweet to
- 5:05Speaker 3: say that. I have a few extensions in right now.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But even up here, it's like it's just so like
- 5:10Speaker 1: softy cute. How many times a week.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Do you wash it? I do it every other day.
- 5:14Speaker 2: My hair is so oily.
- 5:15Speaker 3: It's just like the little it's the olive oil in me,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I guess, but my hair.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I wash it every other day.
- 5:21Speaker 3: If I don't blow it out, which I'm good at
- 5:23Speaker 3: because I'm a hairdresser, I get it done at lunatic
- 5:25Speaker 3: fringe and I use keristos only. I do a treatment
- 5:28Speaker 3: like every other day. I'm sorry, every other week, excuse me.
- 5:32Speaker 3: And I wash it every other day right now. I'm
- 5:33Speaker 3: big on there, like Absolute gloss Line because it's it's
- 5:39Speaker 3: got the oils that it gives a lot of shine.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But I've been using their products for twenty seven or
- 5:44Speaker 3: twenty eight years, and I'm just like, it's having the
- 5:46Speaker 3: right products, but also being a hairdresser and knowing how
- 5:49Speaker 3: to blow your hair out to get that shine I will,
- 5:53Speaker 3: and keeping it healthy. You know, I really try not
- 5:56Speaker 3: to do a lot to it when I'm not filming.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I hope you know. I'm gonna harass you after this
- 6:10Speaker 1: to send me the makeup, to send me what to
- 6:13Speaker 1: do with the hair.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I'll send you the products too.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah, And when I'm in Utah, I'm coming into lunatic fringe.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Thank you. Yes, we're gonna get you a blowout. We're
- 6:21Speaker 2: going to teach you.
- 6:21Speaker 3: How to style your hair as if you were a
- 6:24Speaker 3: hair addresser. I mean really truly being able to do
- 6:27Speaker 3: a good blow dry so your hair looks pretty. It's
- 6:30Speaker 3: not easy to get a glass like look. Yes, no,
- 6:34Speaker 3: I can't do that.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Do you ever do your own makeup or do you
- 6:36Speaker 1: usually have someone touch your face for glad?
- 6:38Speaker 2: You know what?
- 6:39Speaker 3: When I'm filming, I like to do my own makeup.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I'm sorry to have Alexis, who I love, do my makeup.
- 6:45Speaker 3: When I'm not filming, I try not to wear makeup.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I just want to let my skin breathe totally. I
- 6:50Speaker 3: run around without makeup all the time. And I used
- 6:53Speaker 3: to love to do my makeup. Now I've gotten used
- 6:55Speaker 3: to having her doing it looks so good.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I'm just soil good.
- 6:58Speaker 3: So for a special occasion I get it done, or
- 7:00Speaker 3: for filming, I get it done, or I just don't
- 7:03Speaker 3: wear it, which is rare. And like tonight on Wife Swap,
- 7:06Speaker 3: I just went bare face. I was like, okay, I
- 7:09Speaker 3: just want to have good skin and like, yeah, good
- 7:11Speaker 3: with it, look good without it?
- 7:12Speaker 2: Right?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Well, and makeup is so drying. I remember to Beyonce's mom,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Tina Noles. She said, if I have a full day
- 7:18Speaker 1: and I know that I'm going to have to have
- 7:19Speaker 1: makeup on the entire day, from the morning until the night,
- 7:23Speaker 1: she said, I will find time to wash my face
- 7:26Speaker 1: in between and reapply because it is so drying that
- 7:29Speaker 1: I feel like I need to remoisturize and then reapply.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean it's a chemical on your skin.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and when you film me wear a lot of it,
- 7:39Speaker 3: so it takes so many washes to even get off.
- 7:41Speaker 2: It really beats your skin up.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I know it's I as you can tell, I like
- 7:47Speaker 1: makeup for you beautiful without it. You're so there's gonna
- 7:50Speaker 1: be a day where I'm going to have to cake
- 7:52Speaker 1: it on twenty four to seven.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Never, I don't believe I'll live to see the day.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You're I mean, you're lucky, You've got that, You've got
- 7:59Speaker 1: that Greek and what I think you if you could
- 8:02Speaker 1: be besties with another housewife from another franchise, who would
- 8:05Speaker 1: it be?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Oh no, let me think, oh my gosh.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Uh uh. You know I always say I love Teresa
- 8:18Speaker 3: because I watched that was one of the early days
- 8:21Speaker 3: of housewives, and her mom and dad, and especially her dad.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I just my heart would melt. So. I just felt
- 8:28Speaker 2: like I had a long common with.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Her in the kitchen, she loved food, her relationship with
- 8:33Speaker 3: her parents, I just connected to that.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I see that. I think you guys would be a
- 8:38Speaker 1: match meet in heaven. Yeah, I want to throw shade
- 8:41Speaker 1: if you feel uncomfortable, totally let me know what. Bravo.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Leberty has high body count hair.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You can't say me never. I would never say you. Ooh,
- 8:50Speaker 2: that's a tough one.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I'm a little scared sometimes and I've rated some confessional looks.
- 8:57Speaker 3: So this one came up. And she's darling and fun, funny.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Let me start with that, Okay, And it was.
- 9:02Speaker 2: It was cute Gina and OLC.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But there was a few times where I felt like her,
- 9:07Speaker 3: she's so cute and fun.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I felt like her hair dated her a little bit.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I'd love to way get her in lunatic fringe and
- 9:16Speaker 3: and come out of retirement and just blow her hair
- 9:18Speaker 3: out to really sleek, beautiful hair. But she's you know,
- 9:21Speaker 3: she does have some great hair days too. There was
- 9:24Speaker 3: just a few confessional looks where I was like, ooh,
- 9:26Speaker 3: like she got here and this this just ages are
- 9:29Speaker 3: a little bit yet needed to be.
- 9:30Speaker 1: You know what, though, if you're going to say that
- 9:31Speaker 1: about anybody, it should be her, because she's got that
- 9:34Speaker 1: East Coast grit where she doesn't take offense to anything,
- 9:37Speaker 1: like she would laugh at what you just said.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Okay, good, so she'll still hug me when I meet her.
- 9:41Speaker 1: One hundred percent. She's so freaking cool. What celebrity would
- 9:45Speaker 1: love to come into your salon and do their hair?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Has anyone reached out to you to say like, please
- 9:49Speaker 1: have me come in?
- 9:50Speaker 3: Oh well, Suki Waterhouse just came in and got her
- 9:53Speaker 3: hair done at the salon and that was so fun.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And what I yeah, yeah.
- 9:57Speaker 3: And when I walked in, she said, Angie, I'm like
- 10:02Speaker 3: Suki and yes, I was so excited to see her.
- 10:07Speaker 3: And she said, within three seconds, could we make a TikTok?
- 10:11Speaker 2: And I said, well, I'm.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Not very good at TikTok's and she said hold on,
- 10:15Speaker 3: and then she pulls up high body count hair and
- 10:17Speaker 3: I said, okay, I can do this.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Oh God, I can do yes, I'm looking this up
- 10:22Speaker 1: the moment. I'm not huge I'm not big on TikTok
- 10:25Speaker 1: because I'm technologically challenged, but I'm going to send up
- 10:28Speaker 1: please do that's amazing.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I know she was darling. She gave Electure and Night
- 10:34Speaker 3: tickets to her show that night. She gave me a
- 10:36Speaker 3: shout out on stage and and was she dedicated a.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Song to me. It was amazing.
- 10:42Speaker 1: That is so cool.
- 10:44Speaker 3: She sent merch out for Electure and yeah, she was adorable.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Absolutely loved her. Her hair looked amazing. To see her
- 10:49Speaker 3: on stage and know that she came into Lunatic Fringe
- 10:52Speaker 3: that was also amazing. Yes, and then my next one,
- 10:57Speaker 3: I want to get Chloe Kardashian in. She's done so
- 11:00Speaker 3: to me and she responded to me in her on
- 11:03Speaker 3: Instagram and her comments, and I just love her because,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you know, she's just been through a lot with you know,
- 11:09Speaker 3: just like being a housewife, just being on reality TV totally.
- 11:13Speaker 3: She extends kindness through acknowledging other people and she just
- 11:18Speaker 3: seems like a very sweet, special person. And I want
- 11:21Speaker 3: to meet her and I'd love to get her in
- 11:22Speaker 3: the salon. I would come out of retirement for her.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Okay, So once you do her hair, send her my
- 11:27Speaker 1: way to get her on the podcast because I feel
- 11:29Speaker 1: the exact same work makes the dream work. Yes, Salt
- 11:33Speaker 1: Lake City can get it done. Last question, would you
- 11:36Speaker 1: ever do Traders or Special Forces? Special Forces looks like
- 11:40Speaker 1: the hardest thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Look, I'm married to a guy that would take me
- 11:45Speaker 3: to the gym and put me through.
- 11:46Speaker 2: That routine, and it does look hard, and I thought.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Well, I could probably do this. I would do both
- 11:52Speaker 3: of them.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I think.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I mean that one's hard physically, but Traders looks really fun.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Like I would love to do one of them. Yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'd love to.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Traders does.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Like I said.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Earlier, I look at all of these as like transformative moments,
- 12:07Speaker 3: learning opportunities, saying yes to anything that comes my way.
- 12:11Speaker 2: So yes to both.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm going to take I'm going to take that on.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I need to. I need to get in the mindset
- 12:17Speaker 1: of saying yes.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yes you do. Right. I know you're busy with a
- 12:20Speaker 2: little child that it gets harder.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Right, I know, But you know what, I see women
- 12:25Speaker 1: doing it all the time. So I'm going to take
- 12:27Speaker 1: on your mindset. Well.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Look, I said yes to every opportunity as a little hairdresser,
- 12:32Speaker 3: and so many cool things came my way, and that's
- 12:35Speaker 3: really how I grew and how we grew our business,
- 12:38Speaker 3: and so I just like it always serves us to say, yes.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. I had the best time, and I'm
- 12:43Speaker 1: so appreciating that you're I know you're so busy, So
- 12:46Speaker 1: thank you for making time for Untraditionally La La. You guys,
- 12:49Speaker 1: thank you for listening to another episode bonus episode of
- 12:52Speaker 1: Untraditionally Lalla, And I'm going to catch you guys on
