to put it simply elon, no one wants to hear about shivon. they did want to hear about grimes. or at least i am part of the group that would have rather have heard about grimes in the situation. the only other way it wouldnt have mattered to me, is if you had left me alone, and announced you had a relationship with shivon and were transparent about it so it didnt look like shivon was secretly attacking people or doing things . if you had just said , "this is my girlfriend" people would have accepted it and just let you two be and do things together and then people could have adjusted properly…
