House Fire Claims Two Lives | Washington DC News
An EMS crew spotted thick smoke near Georgia Avenue and Plyers Mill Road, leading them to a house fire on Harmon Road. Firefighters arrived to find flames already tearing through the second floor with no one outside — forcing them to conduct a dangerous search and rescue. Tragically, two women were found inside and didn’t survive. Two firefighters were also injured but are expected to recover. The cause remains under investigation.
