Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
Saturday the 14th, 2020. Oh, I guess I should tell you
• 0:25
the month too. June 14th, 2025 As I warned
• 0:31
yesterday, Saturday the 14th, that's the day that will really
• 0:34
get you. Everybody makes you think about
• 0:36
it. Friday the 13th, but Saturday
• 0:39
the 14th they also don't come around that often and they're
• 0:42
the ones the snap up and bite you now.
• 0:45
Unfortunately, it was Friday the 13th that snapped up and bit me
• 0:48
last night got a little complacent there towards the
• 0:51
end. I'm thinking, all right, my
• 0:52
money line bets looking good. I got a chance here that my bet
• 0:58
I'm effectively up 10 points with the spread.
• 1:01
No problem here that 1S money in the bank.
• 1:04
Let's see if we can get this money line.
• 1:07
Nope, unbelievable. 12 to one run to finish out the game, 11
• 1:13
point swing. I lose just brutal at 6 1/2
• 1:20
points, man, I was thinking I was getting the the win on the
• 1:24
money line and then nothing. Nothing at all.
• 1:28
Just a big fat L. All right, so tonight, Speaking
• 1:33
of LS, we're going back to just an L at the end, the final
• 1:39
single, not the plural. So we got the NHL Stanley Cup
• 1:43
Final, we got dead heat tonight. Good old fashioned pick em -110
• 1:50
-, 110 Game 5. Who's going to take the lead?
• 1:54
They're back up in Edmonton. I'll tell you what, here's my
• 1:58
thinking, Panthers, I mean, this has been close all the way,
• 2:01
right? I mean, that's just the way it
• 2:02
is. It's been fantastic to watch.
• 2:04
Great to not have a rooting interest other than my bets.
• 2:06
So it's a pick em. Now, traditionally the home
• 2:09
team, if they're considered even would have a little bit of an
• 2:12
edge. So since they don't, to me that
• 2:15
means people are leaning to the Panthers.
• 2:18
So I think the Panthers, too, are going to get their mental
• 2:22
fortitude together, their incredible will, and get in
• 2:26
there, correct the ship, get them some goals, lock it down,
• 2:32
try to take this back home and win it in Florida, back to the
• 2:36
Everglades, where hockey was invented, I believe.
• 2:40
Because. Florida's where like most of the
• 2:42
hockey, games are won these days and championships are won.
• 2:45
So all right, so we're going to take Florida Panthers -110 on
• 2:51
the money line in tonight's NHL Stanley Cup Final hockey matchup
• 2:57
action. See anything better than that?
• 2:59
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 3:01
  to. It don't.
