- 2:20Speaker 1: hear your opinion.
- 2:21Speaker 3: You do.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Who called?
- 2:23Speaker 3: We have a raccoon named Allison, and she's got a
- 2:26Speaker 3: comment about Cody Brown.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Cody. All right, let's get into it.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Hi, So this is Allison from Gilbert, Arizona. He'll so
- 2:38Speaker 4: dumb asking this question because I know this show and
- 2:42Speaker 4: Cody Brown isn't built on logic. But isn't it crazy
- 2:47Speaker 4: that the initial beginning of the show started out with
- 2:52Speaker 4: Cody saying that love should be multiplied, not divided, and
- 2:56Speaker 4: they're just now allowing him to say he doesn't his wives,
- 3:01Speaker 4: any of his wives besides Robin, without forcing him to
- 3:06Speaker 4: explain it more. It just feels crazy to me, But
- 3:10Speaker 4: I still can't stop watching. Love you guys and love listening.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Thank you, Alison. We really appreciate you calling in and
- 3:19Speaker 2: jumping in the dumpster with us. Well what do you think?
- 3:21Speaker 3: I mean? I think it's ironic that he started the
- 3:24Speaker 3: show on that tagline, but I don't think the producers
- 3:27Speaker 3: care to call him out on it because he's already
- 3:30Speaker 3: putting his foot in his ass, in his mouth right
- 3:33Speaker 3: at every single turn. And it just goes to show
- 3:36Speaker 3: that Cody has been lying this entire time, and that's
- 3:39Speaker 3: why he doesn't take any accountability, because he doesn't want
- 3:42Speaker 3: to be seen as a liar, as a man who
- 3:45Speaker 3: abandoned his wives and his children. He doesn't want to
- 3:48Speaker 3: be seen by it as this because it's Cody Brown.
- 3:51Speaker 3: He thinks he's God's gift to women, right and to
- 3:54Speaker 3: all of us.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I guess, I mean he is necessarily contradicting himself every week,
- 4:02Speaker 2: contradicting what he said for multiple seasons over many, many years.
- 4:06Speaker 2: But I agree with Alison, like I kind of wish
- 4:11Speaker 2: production would do something like how awesome? How rad would
- 4:15Speaker 2: it be if production just stopped him mid sentence when
- 4:17Speaker 2: he's going crazy about how we never loved his wife
- 4:20Speaker 2: because he's been doing it for seasons. You could come
- 4:22Speaker 2: prepared to these couch interstitials and like just show him
- 4:26Speaker 2: evidence of what he said about his wives before. Even
- 4:29Speaker 2: in this episode Beatrice, he talks about never loving his
- 4:32Speaker 2: wives before, and then he talks about how he loved
- 4:34Speaker 2: his wives during COVID and wanted to take care of everybody.
- 4:37Speaker 2: In one episode, he's contradicting himself. Would kill a producer
- 4:41Speaker 2: to just say, well, wait a minute, Cody, because didn't
- 4:44Speaker 2: you say X, Y and Z and have him answer
- 4:47Speaker 2: for that. And that's where so much of the frustration
- 4:51Speaker 2: comes from for a lot of us, is that there's
- 4:53Speaker 2: no actual accountability. Cody is just allowed to lie straight
- 4:58Speaker 2: to our faces and then he has his.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Puppet Robin with a fake tears in her diesel Jeice
- 5:05Speaker 5: just lying like we don't have years upon years of
- 5:08Speaker 5: recorded film of recorded footage of all.
- 5:13Speaker 2: The ship you said, like, we know you're lying.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're sitting here wasting my time lying more.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's infuriating, Alison.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's infuriating and it's insane, and I feel like I'm crazy.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Oh I do chisen, but I'm totally with Allison. Then
- 5:29Speaker 3: I'm still gonna watch. It's like, none of this stops
- 5:33Speaker 3: me from watching. You know, we're still gonna get the
- 5:36Speaker 3: stupid Telna things with Sukiana right probably at the end
- 5:40Speaker 3: of this bless her heart. Oh my god.
- 5:41Speaker 2: No, I I don't hate Sukiyana, but she's just a
- 5:46Speaker 2: wet noodle, serious and an impotent journalist for real, and.
- 5:50Speaker 3: We're gonna we're probably gonna have her at the end
- 5:52Speaker 3: of this season. But we're still gonna watch every single
- 5:56Speaker 3: fucking episode.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well, if they do. They look backs, and the
- 5:58Speaker 2: talkbacks actually liked those I did do, yeah, a bit
- 6:01Speaker 2: more than the toothless Sukiana episodes. But yeah, like nothing
- 6:06Speaker 2: is going to change, because why would production need to
- 6:09Speaker 2: change anything. We're all in the dumpster, ex watching Rabbit
- 6:13Speaker 2: for the content, and it's so fucking half assed, Beatrice.
- 6:16Speaker 2: They are filming themselves. They're setting their own fucking tripods
- 6:20Speaker 2: up with their iPhones or Robin Brown in the bathroom
- 6:24Speaker 2: and your claws phone. Was she high?
- 6:27Speaker 3: I don't know, unlike some xanax or something going on.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I was wondering. I played her back. I'm like, you
- 6:32Speaker 2: seem a little like they're all self filming. There's no
- 6:36Speaker 2: camera proofs, there's no professionalism at all here, Like they're
- 6:42Speaker 2: not expending any money to produce this.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Show, and we're all watching like of course going out
- 6:47Speaker 1: of style.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Well, and that's the thing, like we're all watching, so
- 6:50Speaker 3: why bother yeaheah.
- 6:53Speaker 2: It's just like Allison, We'll still be here, of course.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But people are getting so angry. Oh yeah, I was
- 6:59Speaker 2: up on really a somebody just venting about how crazy
- 7:05Speaker 2: this is, like week after week We've got to sit
- 7:07Speaker 2: here and listen to this horseshit and how enraged she was,
- 7:11Speaker 2: and people are like, look, if you're watching a reality
- 7:14Speaker 2: TV show, yeah, and you find yourself with elevated blood pressure,
- 7:20Speaker 2: you're jugular protruding out of the side of your neck,
- 7:23Speaker 2: like having an actual activated emotional response to fucking Cody Brown.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Like step away from the television.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah, have a breath, take a breath, have a glass
- 7:32Speaker 2: of wine, chill, just hang out with your friends. Like
- 7:35Speaker 2: it's just not that deep.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Right exactly. But people get so charged up, even on
- 7:40Speaker 3: plais Bill, on all these shows. Oh yeah, people can't
- 7:43Speaker 3: fucking charge up.
- 7:44Speaker 2: They do get charged, Yes, they do be a true
- 7:48Speaker 2: and I'm just like, it's gonna be okay, everything, it's fine,
- 7:51Speaker 2: but I do get angry. So I'm just doing a
- 7:53Speaker 2: complete hypocrite. Okay, let's get into some gossip because there
- 7:56Speaker 2: are a couple of items that they want to cover
- 7:58Speaker 2: with you. First, foremost, I follow the lovely Nicki Haverstock
- 8:03Speaker 2: here on YouTube. I think she's got a TikTok. Yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 2: they recap Sister Wives every week. Her and her husband,
- 8:09Speaker 2: who seems like he's in a hostage situation. He just
- 8:11Speaker 2: sits there rolling his eyes and making snide comments about
- 8:15Speaker 2: Cody Brown, and it's fantastic. But anyway, I watched a
- 8:18Speaker 2: video from Nicki Haverstock a couple of days ago in
- 8:20Speaker 2: which she divulged that one of her viewers who happens
- 8:24Speaker 2: to be a realtor or what, have sent her some
- 8:27Speaker 2: documentation m M about the fact that Duntu, apparently Cody
- 8:35Speaker 2: and Robin have taken multiple loans, whether they are helock
- 8:39Speaker 2: loans or equity loans, whatever kind of loans out against
- 8:42Speaker 2: the McMahons, and not just one loan. Because we've been
- 8:46Speaker 2: talking for years, haven't we be addressed, yes, about how
- 8:48Speaker 2: the rumor was that Janelle asked for her money bag,
- 8:51Speaker 2: the money that she put into the McMansion, and they
- 8:54Speaker 2: took out some sort of an equity loan to pay
- 8:56Speaker 2: her back. That was the rumor for a couple of years. Well,
- 8:58Speaker 2: apparently it's not just one loan. It is multiple loans,
- 9:02Speaker 2: and Nikki says, in fact, so many loans that they
- 9:05Speaker 2: may owe more on the house than they are going
- 9:08Speaker 2: to be able to sell it for.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Stop. I won't stop, Oh my god, won't stop. That
- 9:17Speaker 3: is so delusual, delicious del I shouldn't like revel, No,
- 9:23Speaker 3: don't do that, but I love it.
- 9:27Speaker 5: That is so great.
- 9:28Speaker 2: They live like tacky kings. They live like tacky new
- 9:33Speaker 2: money tacky kings and queens like with all their terrible art.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, spending their money on all this bullshit,
- 9:41Speaker 2: but they're living way beyond their means.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Oh my god. And then he has the balls, the
- 9:47Speaker 3: saggy old man balls to say on this episode that
- 9:51Speaker 3: he wants to get a bigger house. I know, for
- 9:53Speaker 3: a Kelty Antonia a little they were.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Actually looking at a bigger house in twenty twenty two.
- 9:58Speaker 5: You can't even have for the one you have.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I think in twenty twenty two they hadn't been hit
- 10:03Speaker 2: energetically yet with the realization like oh fuck, Janelle's gone,
- 10:07Speaker 2: Mary's gone, Christine's gone, and all that money is gone.
- 10:10Speaker 2: They haven't really felt it yet. I think you're for
- 10:13Speaker 2: our lord. Twenty twenty four, they are in the middle
- 10:16Speaker 2: of feeling it.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Oh my god. They could like foreclose on their house,
- 10:20Speaker 3: Like how could they make the payments if they have
- 10:22Speaker 3: all those loans right?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Like well, I mean, maybe they're making enough from TLC,
- 10:27Speaker 2: which is their daily job. Maybe they can make the
- 10:30Speaker 2: nut of the mortgage. But now that Christine has filed
- 10:33Speaker 2: a lawsuit or for four years of back.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Child support, they can't afford that.
- 10:39Speaker 2: He's gonna probably be at least one hundred thousand dollars
- 10:41Speaker 2: for back child support, much less the next six years
- 10:45Speaker 2: of her life or more.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Cody's gonna have to record a lot of cameos.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Panicanthroscope, Baby, Panaga, eleven.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Karma really is a bitch.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you shouldn't have stole all the money. You
- 10:58Speaker 2: shouldn't have siphoned the money as if it do a
- 11:00Speaker 2: of the LLC into this bad art and into all
- 11:03Speaker 2: of Robin's jewelry and your rings and rolexes. Ye Jesus Christ,
- 11:07Speaker 2: there there needs to be a reckoning.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, oh for sure.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But imagine, I.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Mean I can see how somebody would do that if
- 11:14Speaker 2: they had the money, but taking loans out, that's why
- 11:18Speaker 2: on your house you don't have the money in order
- 11:20Speaker 2: to buy that artwork.
- 11:22Speaker 3: No, that's crazy.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I mean I'm living in this house Beatrice in Texas,
- 11:27Speaker 2: this Barnaby Jones house, so I do not have to
- 11:30Speaker 2: first of all, get a new mortgage because my my
- 11:33Speaker 2: interest rate here, honey is point nine. Yeah listen, and
- 11:38Speaker 2: I mean I don't want to live beyond my means. Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 2: of course it's comfortable. Like I don't want to like
- 11:42Speaker 2: buy this big fucking house, become house poor and then
- 11:45Speaker 2: put myself in a situation right, like he's debt financing
- 11:49Speaker 2: his ugly stallion ring.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I know, in all this bullshit that is so crazy,
- 11:55Speaker 3: but I you know what again, I love it. This
- 11:59Speaker 3: is what did you get?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's never been good with money. No, she's not
- 12:03Speaker 2: good with money, never, even though she says she's.
- 12:06Speaker 1: A great budget. Oh, it's such a good budget. Now
- 12:09Speaker 1: I've changed a lot.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Since the door is secret. But that's what they prioritize
- 12:13Speaker 3: their money. Then on was all the loans on their house. Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 3: and that's why they wanted to sell it for one
- 12:18Speaker 3: point six five million. Uh huh.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Girl.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It didn't sell though, well they can't now, well now
- 12:23Speaker 2: they can't. But like it also didn't get any offers
- 12:25Speaker 2: of course.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Not why would you pay?
- 12:27Speaker 2: I mean I think they thought somebody was gonna pay
- 12:30Speaker 2: that amount of money for that broken down mc manchioneal.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It was all that purple and everything so much purple.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Moving on to the next bit of hot gossip, Give
- 12:40Speaker 2: it to me. So we were talking last week about
- 12:42Speaker 2: how some people on the internet, and let's be real,
- 12:44Speaker 2: it was Reddit. Yeah, we're talking about that scene last
- 12:48Speaker 2: week in the snow where they were standing in the
- 12:50Speaker 2: shoveled out portion, which is a mark for the cameras,
- 12:53Speaker 2: and having their spontaneous argument. Yeah, sure, in which Robin
- 12:57Speaker 2: is trying to convince Cody.
- 12:58Speaker 3: To just talk to your.
- 13:04Speaker 2: You're gulous, so we had to endure that. Yeah, of course,
- 13:07Speaker 2: we have raccoons with monocles out here. And they were
- 13:11Speaker 2: wondering when that was actually filmed, because of course it
- 13:15Speaker 2: felt so rehearsed. Yeah, it felt so scripted, and people
- 13:18Speaker 2: were wondering whether it was actually filmed after Garrison passed.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That would be terrible, which I said, that would be
- 13:26Speaker 2: completely psychopathic and diabolical if they came up with that
- 13:30Speaker 2: kind of a scheme within a week or two of
- 13:32Speaker 2: Garrison's passing. And I thought, and I said last week
- 13:36Speaker 2: that I didn't think that was the case. It felt
- 13:38Speaker 2: like it was probably approximate to Logan's wedding because Cody
- 13:42Speaker 2: was all triggered about Maddie scuttling the children away and
- 13:45Speaker 2: having to sit in a corner in the venue, So
- 13:48Speaker 2: that made more sense to me.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 13:50Speaker 2: But apparently I was wrong, because guess what what, some
- 13:54Speaker 2: raccoons on the Reddit actually reached out to the company
- 13:59Speaker 2: that designed and manufactured Cody's jacket.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Stop.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Apparently the brand is Cool Kuhl. I don't know if
- 14:08Speaker 2: I'm pronouncing that correctly. And one raccoon in particular reached
- 14:12Speaker 2: out to Cool and asked about that particular jacket, and
- 14:16Speaker 2: guess what Cool responded, Oh my god, do you want
- 14:20Speaker 2: to hear what the response is? Okay? Okay? So the
- 14:23Speaker 2: redditor that reached out is you all the parents suck
- 14:29Speaker 2: in sister wives?
- 14:30Speaker 3: Is true?
- 14:30Speaker 2: All of the parents sucked definitely. The name of this
- 14:33Speaker 2: post is I contacted Cool about Cody's jacket and this
- 14:37Speaker 2: was their reply. Thanks for reaching out. We're unaware of
- 14:40Speaker 2: the situation with the show, but we appreciate the context
- 14:44Speaker 2: as to why we've received so many random inquiries about
- 14:48Speaker 2: when the color Deep Pond Slash Dark Khaki was released
- 14:52Speaker 2: in different Cool jackets. This information helps us provide an
- 14:56Speaker 2: informed response. Deep Pond Dark Ki was a seasonal colorway
- 15:02Speaker 2: in multiple jackets created for our Fall of twenty twenty three. Line.
- 15:08Speaker 1: The jacket in the photo you provided is the Stretch
- 15:11Speaker 1: Voyager jacket. The Stretch Voyager jacket in Deep Pond Slash
- 15:14Speaker 1: Dark Khaki could have been purchased in August of twenty
- 15:18Speaker 1: twenty three or later from our website. It's also possible
- 15:23Speaker 1: the jacket could have been purchased from one of our
- 15:25Speaker 1: authorized retailers, sometimes starting in June of twenty twenty three.
- 15:30Speaker 1: The jacket was not available to the public in twenty
- 15:35Speaker 1: twenty two.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Oh my god, so they're lying liars who lie? Yes?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Wow.
- 15:43Speaker 3: That scene was staged.
- 15:44Speaker 2: That scene did not happen, at the very least, it
- 15:46Speaker 2: did not happen proximate to Logan's wedding. It didn't happen
- 15:52Speaker 2: a month later, a couple of weeks later, Cody wasn't
- 15:55Speaker 2: so activated and upset about the wedding. It happened and
- 16:00Speaker 2: most likely in the fall slash winter of twenty twenty three,
- 16:05Speaker 2: because he couldn't have got the jacket earlier than June
- 16:08Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, So in the winter either like November
- 16:12Speaker 2: December or January February of twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four. Wow,
- 16:18Speaker 2: or and it is a possibility it could have been
- 16:22Speaker 2: filmed after Garrison's passing that again, I just have to say,
- 16:26Speaker 2: tell me what you all think. But I mean, they're
- 16:29Speaker 2: terrible people. I would even say Cody's a despicable person.
- 16:33Speaker 2: But I just can't imagine a parent who would be
- 16:35Speaker 2: in the headspace of like conniving and manipulating to that
- 16:40Speaker 2: level just a week or two after their son's suicide.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Like I can't. I can't picture it and feel my
- 16:47Speaker 2: way into that, But it is possible.
- 16:50Speaker 3: What do you think that would be so fucking evil
- 16:53Speaker 3: if they did that after his suicide, Like, I mean,
- 16:56Speaker 3: that is just a whole new level, especially like on
- 17:00Speaker 3: Robin's side too, Like, I mean, she's doing this to
- 17:03Speaker 3: save both their reputations, but mainly hers. Yeah you think so.
- 17:07Speaker 3: She was the one that created this scene, you think.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yes, I mean she wants us to see her begging
- 17:12Speaker 2: Cody to reach out to his children. Because let's say
- 17:16Speaker 2: it was filmed in winter of twenty twenty two, twenty
- 17:19Speaker 2: twenty three. This means that they have seen the show.
- 17:24Speaker 2: They've seen the backlash. Yeah, they've felt the backlash, and
- 17:28Speaker 2: they are in some sort of damage control. They're in
- 17:31Speaker 2: a tailspin. They're trying to recover their image. I could
- 17:34Speaker 2: see that, Yeah, And I could see Robin being really
- 17:36Speaker 2: concerned about what people are thinking about her course, and
- 17:38Speaker 2: so needing to sort of curate this image of her
- 17:41Speaker 2: as caring about those kids after she's demonstrated without a doubt, Yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 2: she don't give a shit.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Wow, these people like you think if you're gonna lie
- 17:51Speaker 3: this much like why what you wear a shirt? Why
- 17:53Speaker 3: would you wear a limited edition? Or like a news seasonal?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Think about it. He should have, though, He should have
- 18:01Speaker 2: known that we were out here thinking like that about
- 18:03Speaker 2: this show. He should have known by them.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I mean, that's wild to me, Like you're wearing a
- 18:08Speaker 3: brand new jacket that just came out, like probably at
- 18:11Speaker 3: the time, and they're filming it.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Like, but Beatrice, wouldn't it be easier to just say
- 18:18Speaker 2: I was wrong?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Wouldn't it be easier to just have some sort of
- 18:22Speaker 2: an epiphany on the couch robin right where you say? Like,
- 18:26Speaker 2: I probably should have made sure that he went and
- 18:29Speaker 2: visited his other kids during COVID. I was actually really scared.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You know, it was a terrible time for all of us.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I didn't know what was going to happen. But I
- 18:37Speaker 2: should have made that a priority. I didn't, and I
- 18:39Speaker 2: was wrong. Wouldn't that have been easier than staging this
- 18:44Speaker 2: fucked up scene and pretending you care yeah when you
- 18:47Speaker 2: do not care?
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah? To normal people would be easier to take accountability
- 18:52Speaker 3: like that and just suck it up, swallow your pride
- 18:55Speaker 3: and be like, yeah, I fucked up. I fucked up.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I'm not a perfect person, but I think that, like
- 19:01Speaker 3: Gabe is right in this episode when he's saying that
- 19:05Speaker 3: they wanted to do this all along, COVID was just
- 19:08Speaker 3: the excuse. Yes, So that's why they're lying, that's why
- 19:11Speaker 3: they're trying to cover up their bullshit because it's true.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Right, It's like, oh God, this works in our favor,
- 19:18Speaker 2: This is actually going to help. This is to maneuver
- 19:20Speaker 2: me into Robin's home, and I'm never gonna.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Have to leave again, never have to see my family
- 19:24Speaker 3: ever again, because I don't give a show.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And we all know it, and even worse, your kids
- 19:30Speaker 2: know it. Yeah, and they can see it and they
- 19:32Speaker 2: can feel that. Yeah, maybe he's too embarrassed to admit
- 19:35Speaker 2: that he's that much of a piece of shit.
- 19:37Speaker 3: That's pathetic.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Yes, girl, Okay, the last thing I wanted to talk about,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and we won't go all the way into it. But
- 19:42Speaker 2: apparently within the last week, Michel te Visa vi her
- 19:46Speaker 2: Patreon made a statement in which she said that it
- 19:50Speaker 2: is incumbent upon her father, Cody Brown, as the parent
- 19:54Speaker 2: to reach out to the children that are hurt to
- 19:57Speaker 2: make amends. That he should be the one making the
- 20:00Speaker 2: phone calls, he should be the ones showing up on
- 20:02Speaker 2: their doorstep because he's the goddamn parent. And as a parent,
- 20:07Speaker 2: I know that to be true. Of course, as a child,
- 20:10Speaker 2: you know that to be true.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yep.
- 20:11Speaker 2: The only one who doesn't know that to be true
- 20:13Speaker 2: is Cody. I think what's significant about this is that
- 20:16Speaker 2: this is coming from McKelty.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Yes, I'm actually glad that she said it. I know
- 20:21Speaker 3: we don't really like McKelty. I know she's coming away
- 20:24Speaker 3: because she is, But I'm glad that this child, who
- 20:27Speaker 3: has been like a semi neutral, semi like also on
- 20:31Speaker 3: Cody and Robin's side, like trying to see the good
- 20:33Speaker 3: in them, she's finally realizing there's no good in them.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, there's nothing there.
- 20:37Speaker 3: They suck ass. And so obviously something must have happened,
- 20:42Speaker 3: like something so bad at Garrison's funeral or memorial that
- 20:46Speaker 3: Robin did that just set McKelty over the edge where
- 20:49Speaker 3: she's like, you guys suck I'm done trying to cover
- 20:53Speaker 3: for you guys. Trying to give you, guys the benefit
- 20:54Speaker 3: of the doubt, take accountability or fuck off.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Right. Another thing she said is that like ninety five
- 21:01Speaker 2: percent of the effort was all one sided. It was
- 21:04Speaker 2: her reaching out, it was her wanting to see them.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Apparently they never let the littles or the kids come
- 21:10Speaker 2: over to Tony and mckelt's house, like they just weren't
- 21:13Speaker 2: really interested. Despite what we're seeing in the episode this
- 21:16Speaker 2: week with Cody so excited to see Ason Archer, Like,
- 21:20Speaker 2: the reality is the reason Avalon doesn't want to hug
- 21:23Speaker 2: you is because she doesn't know you, my guy. She
- 21:26Speaker 2: probably hasn't seen you since she was born if then, right,
- 21:30Speaker 2: So he's just he doesn't make any effort. She also,
- 21:33Speaker 2: i think, talked about Maddie and tell me, do you
- 21:37Speaker 2: know what it was?
- 21:38Speaker 3: It was about like Maddie being upset by what Cody
- 21:41Speaker 3: was saying about her because he was just dragging her
- 21:43Speaker 3: and calling her a gossip and just being really mean, right,
- 21:46Speaker 3: And Maddie's pissed off and.
- 21:48Speaker 2: She has every right to be mm hmm, and there's
- 21:50Speaker 2: probably not going to be any reconciliation. I don't know
- 21:52Speaker 2: if no Michelty said that, but I know. Janelle said
- 21:54Speaker 2: that in this episode. Socially, Yeah, it looks like Michelti's
- 21:57Speaker 2: seeing the light and I'm like, okay, but it wasn't
- 22:01Speaker 2: that hard to see the light two years ago, Like
- 22:03Speaker 2: the entire family, all of your siblings were seeing that light.
- 22:06Speaker 2: The audience was like, what kept you involved. One thing
- 22:11Speaker 2: Nikki Haverstock said was that at the time, we're talking
- 22:15Speaker 2: about the placenta, which we're gonna get to. Yeah, we
- 22:18Speaker 2: and we're looking at this visit from Cody and Robin.
- 22:21Speaker 2: We're talking about like December twenty twenty two, and Tony
- 22:25Speaker 2: and Michelty started their Patreon January of twenty twenty three.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Ohow, so inter.
- 22:32Speaker 2: That might have been the beginning of some of the
- 22:35Speaker 2: wobbles in this relation.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Starting to see it. Yeah, And I mean like in
- 22:39Speaker 3: mckelty's defense, that's her dad, Like she doesn't want to
- 22:42Speaker 3: I've said this before, Like she doesn't want to admit that, oh,
- 22:47Speaker 3: my father abandoned everybody, And like she was really close
- 22:50Speaker 3: with Robin too, Like I still really love Robin. I
- 22:52Speaker 3: still want to have a relationship with her, Like we
- 22:55Speaker 3: talked about it last week, Like it was cool that
- 22:57Speaker 3: Robin stayed with her while she had the babies, and
- 23:00Speaker 3: people on Reddit were saying that Robin was there for
- 23:03Speaker 3: like two weeks. Yeah, that's what people are assuming. So
- 23:05Speaker 3: I mean that's good. Yeah, shows Robin's character, but it
- 23:10Speaker 3: could also be manipulative. Sure could also be pretty toxic.
- 23:13Speaker 3: And it is. So I'm glad that Mackeltie's finally like
- 23:16Speaker 3: realizing what am I doing here? Why?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Maybe she no longer needs her dad's money because she's
- 23:22Speaker 2: got her Patreon, which makes them a lot of money.
- 23:25Speaker 2: She doesn't need to be subsidized by Cody and Robin,
- 23:27Speaker 2: and maybe they're no longer making an effort because she's
- 23:30Speaker 2: on Patreon talking about them even though she's she's pretty
- 23:33Speaker 2: tame when she call. Yeah, Cody and Robin, maybe they
- 23:37Speaker 2: don't like it. I don't know.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Well, Crime River, Yeah, we like it.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I like it.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Gosh, more people would do this.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yes, I want to hear more from Gabe enlightened Gabe God,
- 23:47Speaker 2: I love him. Yes, we loved that conversation. I would
- 23:49Speaker 2: love to hear from more of the kids, and maybe
- 23:51Speaker 2: at some point we will, I hope. So Okay, so
- 23:53Speaker 2: that was long ass. Sorry we didn't get right into
- 23:55Speaker 2: the episode, but I had to go over all of that,
- 23:58Speaker 2: and of course we had to hear from the lovely
- 24:00Speaker 2: thank you Alison. All right, now let's get into the
- 24:02Speaker 2: episode again. Season nineteen, episode five entitled.
- 24:07Speaker 3: The Year of Release.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Release Nice.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Okay, So there was like five main sections. It was
- 24:17Speaker 3: Cody and Robin visiting McKelty, Christine talking about David, o't
- 24:21Speaker 3: get Janelle and Gabe, Mary granted, getting granted the release,
- 24:26Speaker 3: and then Christmas Eve with Robin high on something crying
- 24:30Speaker 3: in her closet.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Zanny tears.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Christmas Eve, Zanny tears.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish I had got So we start with
- 24:38Speaker 3: Cody and Robin making their obligatory visitation to McKelty and
- 24:43Speaker 3: Tony to show us all that they're real people that care,
- 24:46Speaker 3: but only selectively care about the people that are loyal
- 24:50Speaker 3: to them, right aka mckilton.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Right, And you get that scene with Cody in the
- 24:56Speaker 2: car acting like he's so excited to see his grand babies.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I don't believe it. This is just an appearance, and
- 25:04Speaker 2: again they are on a campaign to rehab their image,
- 25:07Speaker 2: and it was just really awkward, oh yeah, and very
- 25:09Speaker 2: strange when they arrived.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and I was just thinking about Maddie. I'm like,
- 25:14Speaker 3: if I was Maddie and I was watching that and
- 25:17Speaker 3: you haven't seen my kids, any of them since they
- 25:19Speaker 3: were born, I'd be like, fuck you. You're so eager
- 25:23Speaker 3: to go and visit Michlty and her twins just because
- 25:27Speaker 3: she's nice to you. She's trying to be neutral because
- 25:30Speaker 3: you're her dad and she loves you, but you won't
- 25:33Speaker 3: come and visit me. Fuck you.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And you have Robin on the couch talking about the
- 25:38Speaker 2: relationship with Michelty because you Cody's saying that she's special
- 25:42Speaker 2: and Robin is saying, well, she sees both sides, and
- 25:46Speaker 2: she knows the truth, implying the subtext of courses, and
- 25:49Speaker 2: because she chooses to be with us and to have
- 25:52Speaker 2: some sort of an allegiance to us, then the truth
- 25:55Speaker 2: means that were not bad people or actually great parents,
- 25:58Speaker 2: and she can see that, whereas nobody else can.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yikes, yeah, that's toxic af uh huh, it's really terrible,
- 26:05Speaker 3: yeah to see. And then Cody and Robin are like
- 26:07Speaker 3: kissing the babies on their mouths, and it's.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Really with all their cold soares and everything, not that
- 26:12Speaker 2: they had active cold soares, but like we all know
- 26:14Speaker 2: you have a history. We've seen cold Soares family.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Like don't kiss my baby, Yeah, don't do that.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Nope. Gross. And then we talk about eating placentas we do.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And this gives me like my Madeline con flames flames,
- 26:31Speaker 2: like I get I get rage with mackelty because because
- 26:34Speaker 2: the context here is that around this time McKelty was
- 26:39Speaker 2: talking about postpartum depression and she was likening postpartum She
- 26:44Speaker 2: was doing this like on oor Patreon, and she was
- 26:46Speaker 2: making statements to the public about how postpartum depression is
- 26:50Speaker 2: actually because the mother feels a sense of jealousy because
- 26:55Speaker 2: the child is getting the attention. Now, like the most
- 26:58Speaker 2: ridiculous take possible, for sure, And so she's building on
- 27:03Speaker 2: that which she said publicly, and now she's talking about
- 27:06Speaker 2: how eating your placenta is actually something you can do
- 27:09Speaker 2: to ward off postpartum depression. Now, I haven't seen any
- 27:13Speaker 2: peer reviewed studies with that effect. I don't know the
- 27:16Speaker 2: science on that, but I am dubious. I don't really
- 27:20Speaker 2: believe it, and I hate her propensity to say irresponsible
- 27:24Speaker 2: bullshit like that.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I agree, and Robin also parrots it too, like, oh yeah,
- 27:28Speaker 3: I ate my placenta to By the.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Way, I was the first.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I was the first to eat the placenter when yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 2: She's got to be the first.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I liked how Mary was like, ew, that's fucking disgusting. Beatrice, What, Beatrice,
- 27:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna eat my placenter?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh god, are you?
- 27:44Speaker 3: I don't know. I thought about it. It's supposed to
- 27:47Speaker 3: be good for you because stem cells and stuff. I
- 27:49Speaker 3: don't know. Okay, but then it's like, I'm gonna have
- 27:51Speaker 3: to see it, Beatrice.
- 27:52Speaker 1: We had to see it.
- 27:53Speaker 3: That's where I was going. Yeah, she had.
- 27:55Speaker 2: A picture of the placenta, out of which she took
- 27:59Speaker 2: a bite with that big ass mouth of her raw
- 28:03Speaker 2: raw and then she put that shit in a smoothie.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Yeah. That's nasty as fuck.
- 28:09Speaker 2: That's gross. I cannot and I don't need it. I
- 28:13Speaker 2: don't want it on my telemuseuon. Nobody needs to see that.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I mean, you could talk about it and I'm dry heaving,
- 28:19Speaker 2: But then you're gonna show a picture, Yeah, partially eaten placenta,
- 28:23Speaker 2: and you have lost me, honey, with no war, and
- 28:25Speaker 2: you have lost me to the wind like dry damn.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I was in the middle of my lunch watching really
- 28:31Speaker 2: he was in the middle of my eggs and baby.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Oh no, see I've got a strong stomach. I was like, whatever,
- 28:37Speaker 3: But I don't know. I think it's like a trend
- 28:40Speaker 3: with like millennials and gen z to be kind of
- 28:42Speaker 3: crunchy like that, to be like, yeah, like you know,
- 28:44Speaker 3: your placid does like so healthy and amazing, it's so
- 28:47Speaker 3: good for you, like you should do it. But everyone's
- 28:49Speaker 3: like that's nasty, just like the same thing with like
- 28:52Speaker 3: home births and unnatural like and.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Its feeding in a circle of Mormon ladies.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Singing yeah, sharing babies.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Well, my husband was walking through the living room at
- 29:04Speaker 2: the time that the placenta was being shown on the television,
- 29:07Speaker 2: and he was listening to what Mackeltie was talking about,
- 29:10Speaker 2: like how the placenta provides nutrition and this and that.
- 29:14Speaker 2: He's like, no, it doesn't. It's literally just a sack.
- 29:16Speaker 2: What provides nutrition is the umbilical cord. Yeah, that's what
- 29:20Speaker 2: provides it. So he's just talking about like how erroneous
- 29:24Speaker 2: she is, just in the fucking shit that she's saying. No,
- 29:27Speaker 2: I'm not saying that there's not value to eating like
- 29:29Speaker 2: a cow's liver and or a Placita day. I get it,
- 29:31Speaker 2: there's iron, there's shit in there. Yeah, but like, why
- 29:34Speaker 2: are we doing why are we doing this? I didn't
- 29:37Speaker 2: sign up to the Sister Wives franchise so I could
- 29:40Speaker 2: hear mckelti, Padrone and too many talkos Tony for real
- 29:44Speaker 2: talking about her placenta.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Bitch, I mean please. It was a long segment, like
- 29:49Speaker 3: the whole placenta thing and then the breastfeeding thing, and
- 29:51Speaker 3: I'm like, can we just get to like the family stuff. Yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 3: I don't care, Yeah, nobody cares. Let's get to Gabe,
- 29:57Speaker 3: yeah for real, chess gay Yeah, do we want to
- 30:01Speaker 3: talk about the breastfeeding thing? I mean okay, I mean
- 30:04Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Well, they talked about how it is a rumor that
- 30:07Speaker 2: in polygamist cults and Mormonism, like the women sit around
- 30:11Speaker 2: in a circle and pass the baby around. I guess
- 30:14Speaker 2: Michaelti likes to tease Christine about that.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and Christine's like, we never did that, absolutely not.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Janelle's like, no, we never did that. And then Mary's like,
- 30:22Speaker 3: I breastfade. I breastfed Maddie, right, And then we have
- 30:25Speaker 3: Janelle being like I never breastfed any of the other
- 30:27Speaker 3: kids because I didn't have enough milk. I'm like, so,
- 30:29Speaker 3: then why are we like acting like that didn't happen
- 30:32Speaker 3: with Mary helping out with matt Like there's nothing wrong
- 30:34Speaker 3: with it.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Well, I think that they were differentiating between yeah, Mary
- 30:39Speaker 2: breastfed Mattie because she had failure to thrive versus like
- 30:43Speaker 2: sitting around in a Mormon witch circle, a coven circle
- 30:46Speaker 2: and passing a baby around and having that baby breastfeed
- 30:49Speaker 2: off of random boobs. Yeah, like that rumor is maybe
- 30:53Speaker 2: not true, but still like, yeah, we do pass around
- 30:57Speaker 2: a baby if the baby needs milk, and don't we
- 30:59Speaker 2: have like breast milk banks. Now I think you're a
- 31:01Speaker 2: mom and your milk's not coming in or whatever, you
- 31:03Speaker 2: can out of the breast milk bank and you can
- 31:05Speaker 2: get some breast milk.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 3: This happened like a few years ago across the country
- 31:09Speaker 3: when we had a breast milk shortage and people were
- 31:11Speaker 3: like stelling breast milk and stuff and helping women get
- 31:14Speaker 3: it because it was like not breast milk shortage, it
- 31:16Speaker 3: was a formula shortage. Yeah my bad. Yeah, and then
- 31:19Speaker 3: people were like trying to help out with all that stuff.
- 31:21Speaker 3: So I don't feel like there's anything wrong with it now.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I mean wet nurses. Yeah, throughout time immemorial have always
- 31:27Speaker 2: been a thing, like it's something that happens. It's not strange,
- 31:30Speaker 2: it's fine.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Like we're acting like it's weird, but whatever. And we
- 31:35Speaker 3: have Christine talking about dating David.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I'm not a snoring like.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I literally don't care.
- 31:45Speaker 5: You're married one year.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Now you're married for I don't need to see.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Your second date. You had to break it to David
- 31:54Speaker 2: Wooly that you're a polygamous, as if his daughter didn't
- 31:58Speaker 2: look you up on the Internet and exactly who you were,
- 32:01Speaker 2: as if.
- 32:01Speaker 1: David Wooly hasn't already admitted to watching a few episodes
- 32:05Speaker 1: of Sister West. Yeah, why are we pretending that? David
- 32:10Speaker 1: is like, oh, of course, yeah, all right, it's fine.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You were polygamous, like my sisters are in polygamy. Christine,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you knew that.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you heard the name Wooly and you knew exactly
- 32:20Speaker 2: who they were.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Of course. I just hate how they treat us like
- 32:23Speaker 3: we're so they really think we're dumb. But we watch
- 32:26Speaker 3: it anyway. And then she's talked about how she's gonna
- 32:29Speaker 3: ask him in the next date if he's sexually attracted
- 32:32Speaker 3: to her, And I also don't care about that.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Well, I thought that was the only poignant thing in
- 32:38Speaker 2: that section because there is a deep wound that exists
- 32:41Speaker 2: because Cody has said that he was not attracted to
- 32:45Speaker 2: her and in fact, and she ate them Nachilus Fani
- 32:47Speaker 2: fromation he was repulsed and disgusted by her. Yeah, and
- 32:52Speaker 2: so she's kind of worn this terrible weight or this
- 32:55Speaker 2: anvil of how she's not an attractive woman. So I
- 32:58Speaker 2: can see how that would be very important for her
- 33:00Speaker 2: to establish with David.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I get it.
- 33:02Speaker 2: It makes me feel bad for her, Yeah, because Cody's
- 33:05Speaker 2: such a fuck wit. Yeah, and he's not attractive. Yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 2: he's an asshole. Yeah, and he hurt her as a woman.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Can't forget about his six pack abs.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, but no.
- 33:16Speaker 3: I mean I get it. It's just like, oh, I
- 33:20Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm finding myself annoyed by the scenes where
- 33:23Speaker 3: we're talking about dating David as if we hadn't seen
- 33:26Speaker 3: the wedding special, and then we're going to have more
- 33:28Speaker 3: of that next episode. When Christine's like, yeah, I want
- 33:31Speaker 3: to tell all my kids that I love David. It's like,
- 33:34Speaker 3: I don't get.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I don't care either. Plus yourself filming. You're filming this
- 33:37Speaker 2: in your car. There is no camera crew, there is
- 33:39Speaker 2: very little effort, and so let's move on.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yep, And we do move on to Janelle and Gabe,
- 33:45Speaker 3: which I love this more of it. I just I
- 33:50Speaker 3: love Gabe. I think he's like so based, he's so
- 33:53Speaker 3: wise for his age. He's just talking very candidly because
- 33:57Speaker 3: he's had therapy. Yes, it's great. I wish more kids
- 34:00Speaker 3: were like this. I wish more of them felt the
- 34:03Speaker 3: need to speak out about their father. I don't know
- 34:04Speaker 3: why they don't, but I loved it. I love the
- 34:07Speaker 3: conversation between him and Janelle. It starts off with them
- 34:10Speaker 3: cooking eggs and they're talking shit about how Cody was
- 34:13Speaker 3: very peculiar about his eating habits, specifically with eggs. We
- 34:17Speaker 3: talked about that even in season one where he only
- 34:20Speaker 3: liked Pepper, some weird shit with his eggs. And then
- 34:24Speaker 3: we kind of get into the conversation about like how
- 34:27Speaker 3: Cody changed during COVID, like that was the catalyst for everything.
- 34:32Speaker 2: There was so much that was said, and I fear
- 34:34Speaker 2: that I'm going to miss a lot of it. I
- 34:36Speaker 2: think the main thing I think that hit with me
- 34:40Speaker 2: was how Gabe said that he had an intentional conversation
- 34:44Speaker 2: with Cody, Like he sat that man down and he
- 34:48Speaker 2: told him, and I'm paraphrasing, of course, but he told him,
- 34:50Speaker 2: you do realize, bub that you are the reason that
- 34:53Speaker 2: this family has fallen apart. And until you take accountability,
- 34:57Speaker 2: until you do right by me, this is gonna containe
- 35:00Speaker 2: Hinue to be in a state of brokenness and tell
- 35:02Speaker 2: you accept responsibility for what you have done, which is
- 35:05Speaker 2: when Cody then turned around and said, you're just like
- 35:08Speaker 2: your mama. You're disloyaled, just like Janelle Wild. I mean,
- 35:14Speaker 2: as a parent, if my daughter sat me down in
- 35:17Speaker 2: an intentional way and said, hey, we need to have
- 35:19Speaker 2: a very important conversation and then she called me to
- 35:22Speaker 2: task about something that I know I have done.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I know that I have.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I mean, the last thing I would do is to
- 35:29Speaker 2: say you're just an asshole like your daddy. But how
- 35:32Speaker 2: unconscious and awful do you have to be as a
- 35:34Speaker 2: person to put that on your kid?
- 35:36Speaker 3: I know, And like, just because you can't just suck
- 35:40Speaker 3: it up and take accountability and just say I'm sorry.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Like that shit goes such a long way with your child,
- 35:46Speaker 3: Like as a parent, most kids like all they want
- 35:49Speaker 3: is from their parent is just to be like, I'm
- 35:51Speaker 3: so sorry, I hurt you, but I love you so
- 35:53Speaker 3: much and I just want us to be okay again.
- 35:56Speaker 3: I just want us to try and rebuild, try to
- 35:58Speaker 3: get close again because I care about you. That would
- 36:01Speaker 3: go such a long way.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Yes, And that is the bare minimum.
- 36:04Speaker 3: That is the bare minimum. Yeah, And I love that
- 36:06Speaker 3: Gabe was able to put all of that into words
- 36:09Speaker 3: and say that to his father like that takes some
- 36:12Speaker 3: guts to say that, Like I can't even say that
- 36:14Speaker 3: to my family.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Well, where do we think that conversation took place? Because
- 36:18Speaker 2: I was almost wondering whether that was the conversation that
- 36:21Speaker 2: Gabe and Garrison had with him out on Coyote Pass
- 36:24Speaker 2: when he got mad at them. Remember they were trying
- 36:26Speaker 2: to talk to him during the time of COVID. I
- 36:28Speaker 2: don't know, and he was getting a bit upset with them,
- 36:30Speaker 2: and he did, I think, if I recall correctly, talk
- 36:33Speaker 2: a little bit of shit about Janelle and that conversation
- 36:36Speaker 2: maybe or maybe it was another conversation after because Cody
- 36:39Speaker 2: says that conversation ever happened, right, So if it was
- 36:42Speaker 2: the one on Coyote Pass, I mean we have film
- 36:44Speaker 2: that it did happen, or maybe it was another one
- 36:47Speaker 2: after that. And Cody's trying to get us to not
- 36:50Speaker 2: believe Gabe, right, which is so crazy. Yeah, we're never
- 36:53Speaker 2: going to do that. We're going to believe Gabe. Gabe
- 36:57Speaker 2: also talks about Robin, because I think Janelle brings the
- 37:00Speaker 2: fact that, you know, Robin, one of her chief complaints
- 37:03Speaker 2: is the fact that we never treated them like they
- 37:06Speaker 2: were part of our family and that we treated the
- 37:08Speaker 2: kids bad. And Janelle asks Gabe like, did we do that?
- 37:12Speaker 2: Like I don't remember that at all, And this is
- 37:15Speaker 2: where Gabe says, and I just love how he said this.
- 37:18Speaker 2: He's like, no, I mean, Robin has a complete and
- 37:21Speaker 2: total victim complex. And I totally get it because some
- 37:25Speaker 2: people employed different people employed different strategies in order to
- 37:30Speaker 2: live their lives. Yeah, you've got to do these things,
- 37:32Speaker 2: and so maybe that's her strategy, but it doesn't make
- 37:35Speaker 2: it right. She's playing the victim. And if she thinks
- 37:39Speaker 2: that we weren't out here trying to get along with
- 37:42Speaker 2: her kids, if she thinks we weren't trying to get
- 37:44Speaker 2: along with her then, like there is no hope whatsoever
- 37:47Speaker 2: for us to ever have a relationship. If that is
- 37:49Speaker 2: how if that is her perspective of what we were
- 37:51Speaker 2: doing as a family, right, Because according to Gabe, he
- 37:55Speaker 2: was trying hard. Yeah, he was trying hard, and he
- 37:58Speaker 2: also really loved her kids.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:00Speaker 3: He talked about how he was best friends with one
- 38:02Speaker 3: of the girls in middle school and how he would
- 38:04Speaker 3: talk to Dayton or try to hang out with him
- 38:06Speaker 3: in high school, like he was really close. And people
- 38:09Speaker 3: on Reddit have been posting, like all of the screenshots
- 38:12Speaker 3: and clips from all these prior seasons of like all
- 38:15Speaker 3: the kids hanging out and all of them having fun together,
- 38:18Speaker 3: and like Robin's kids were getting along really great with
- 38:21Speaker 3: all of the others. So it's all a bunch of bullshit,
- 38:24Speaker 3: it is. If Robin genuinely thinks that, then she's just
- 38:28Speaker 3: as insane as Cody, And then that just proves that
- 38:31Speaker 3: you guys just wanted to be together and alone this
- 38:33Speaker 3: whole entire time, with your own little surrogate family and
- 38:36Speaker 3: fuck the rest.
- 38:37Speaker 2: And this is where he actually talks about COVID and
- 38:40Speaker 2: how Cody used COVID and the time of COVID to
- 38:44Speaker 2: kind of position himself to be able to stay with
- 38:47Speaker 2: Robin all the time. And I think I don't remember
- 38:49Speaker 2: quite how Gabe says it, but something like, well, I
- 38:51Speaker 2: think he did really take care of his family, the
- 38:53Speaker 2: family that he loved, Yeah, the rest of the family
- 38:56Speaker 2: though that we didn't get any of that.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Yep, exactly. And then we also hear from Janelle about
- 39:01Speaker 3: how Cody only sees Savannah like once every couple months,
- 39:05Speaker 3: but Savannah's just resigned to it. She just accepts it
- 39:08Speaker 3: because she's got her brothers and they'll take care of
- 39:11Speaker 3: her and they'll walk her down the aisle. She doesn't
- 39:13Speaker 3: need her dad. And I feel bad for Savannah. I
- 39:16Speaker 3: know she's saying that, but that's sad.
- 39:18Speaker 2: It's very sad. And I guess in the recent interviews
- 39:21Speaker 2: that Janelle and Christina have been giving, Janelle has actually
- 39:25Speaker 2: said that Cody has not seen Savannah at all in
- 39:28Speaker 2: twenty twenty four. Wow, we're in October of twenty twenty
- 39:31Speaker 2: four and he has not seen Savannah, that little angel,
- 39:34Speaker 2: that cherub, that sweet, docile young lady. He has not
- 39:38Speaker 2: seen her all year.
- 39:40Speaker 1: That's so horrible.
- 39:41Speaker 2: I hate him. So much.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I hate him.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I hate him so much.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Much, and if I have to hear him say one
- 39:47Speaker 3: more fucking time that he came close to death, he
- 39:51Speaker 3: saw the Grim Reaper during COVID and that's why he
- 39:54Speaker 3: couldn't see his family for an entire year or whatever.
- 39:57Speaker 3: The fuck, I'm no, because that that happened at Gabe's birthday.
- 40:02Speaker 3: That was in October of twenty twenty. He had been
- 40:04Speaker 3: doing this for six months and seven months by then, yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 3: so he had already been neglecting them for a really
- 40:10Speaker 3: long time. And plus he called Gabe when he had
- 40:13Speaker 3: COVID on Gabe's birthday, had no idea it was Gabe's birthday,
- 40:16Speaker 3: and just talked about himself the entire time. So insane. Yes,
- 40:21Speaker 3: it's so crazy, And like Janelle even talks about it
- 40:24Speaker 3: in a scene like Cody was a great dad, and
- 40:27Speaker 3: we saw this in some of the flashbacks, like.
- 40:29Speaker 1: This bothers me about Janet a good dad.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Well, but he was a good dad though right like
- 40:33Speaker 3: when they were younger, he was present, he was there,
- 40:37Speaker 3: and then now he doesn't care.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I guess, But I mean, I think Janelle defends him
- 40:45Speaker 2: a little too much. I think what it was and actually,
- 40:49Speaker 2: who was I watching? I think I was watching Red
- 40:51Speaker 2: Lipstick Reality TV. By the way, on YouTube, you should
- 40:53Speaker 2: also follows great, she's fantastic. She was talking about Janelle's
- 40:58Speaker 2: general apathy and how Janelle was apathetic in the marriage,
- 41:03Speaker 2: with the romance, she didn't miss the intimacy because she
- 41:06Speaker 2: didn't care about the intimacy. The only time she made
- 41:10Speaker 2: a move was when it became noticeable to her that
- 41:13Speaker 2: Cody was actually a piece of shit father and treating
- 41:15Speaker 2: her children bad, and so that was the impetus for
- 41:18Speaker 2: her to leave the relationship. But because she's so fucking apathetic,
- 41:22Speaker 2: I wouldn't doubt at all that it was happening for
- 41:24Speaker 2: quite some time before that. And we know when they
- 41:26Speaker 2: were in Vegas in the cul de Sac, he was
- 41:29Speaker 2: already fucking with the schedule. He was not hanging out
- 41:31Speaker 2: with Janelle, He was not with Christine as much as
- 41:34Speaker 2: he should have been. He was at Robin's, she had
- 41:36Speaker 2: the office. He parked his car there and that's where
- 41:40Speaker 2: he was. So it was happening then too, and she
- 41:43Speaker 2: didn't change anything then because it didn't bother her, right,
- 41:46Speaker 2: it didn't bother her until her son started getting really
- 41:48Speaker 2: really upset Garrison and Gabriel.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Why do you think she was so apathetic? Then why
- 41:54Speaker 3: does she defend him?
- 41:55Speaker 2: Because I think that it worked. I think for her
- 42:01Speaker 2: like it worked. They were able to get homes, they
- 42:03Speaker 2: were able to get land, they were able to feed
- 42:05Speaker 2: their kids, they were able to keep this family together.
- 42:08Speaker 2: It was working. Was it perfect? It was not. Did
- 42:11Speaker 2: she have a romantic husband? She did not, But she
- 42:14Speaker 2: didn't need it because it worked. And so I think
- 42:17Speaker 2: that she had a hierarchy of needs which is probably
- 42:19Speaker 2: different from Christine's, different than Robin's, and so she was
- 42:23Speaker 2: able to stay in it for longer. But like she
- 42:26Speaker 2: literally shouldn't have. Yeah, she should have saved her kids
- 42:29Speaker 2: well beyond well before it started getting acute for them,
- 42:33Speaker 2: well before Garrison and Gabriel are confronting Cody on Coyote Pass.
- 42:36Speaker 2: You should have been outie, Yeah, I kissed at Janelle
- 42:39Speaker 2: for that.
- 42:40Speaker 3: So do you think Cody's true and saying that Janelle
- 42:43Speaker 3: was a relationship coward? Do you think it's like the
- 42:46Speaker 3: apathy is cowardice.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I don't think it's cowardice, but I think that it's ruinous.
- 42:55Speaker 2: I think that she contributed to the shit that happened
- 42:59Speaker 2: to her own kid.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It's like one hundred percent complicit.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Yes, she was complicit because she allowed Cody to do
- 43:04Speaker 2: the shit that he was doing. Yeah, and we're pretending
- 43:06Speaker 2: he was a great father. I mean yeah, I mean
- 43:09Speaker 2: he was a Disney dad, which I think Christine has
- 43:10Speaker 2: actually called him. He's a Disney dad.
- 43:12Speaker 1: He's there for the fun shit, But was he there
- 43:14Speaker 1: for the hard shit?
- 43:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know that. Sister Wives, the
- 43:17Speaker 2: franchise has established that he was a good dada that way.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Yeah, And I mean even Janelle says that to Gabe
- 43:23Speaker 3: in this scene where he's like, are you happy, mom, Like,
- 43:26Speaker 3: how are you doing? She's like, yeah, like I'm good,
- 43:28Speaker 3: And you know, I am glad that I finally left,
- 43:32Speaker 3: but I stayed so long because of you kids, Like
- 43:35Speaker 3: you guys were still at home. And that's like the
- 43:37Speaker 3: worst kind of mentality, Like why stay in such a
- 43:40Speaker 3: shitty marriage, in such a terrible situation just because your
- 43:44Speaker 3: kids are not old enough to move out of the house.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Where there's abuse happening? Right, Like, I mean, Janelle at
- 43:50Speaker 2: this time in fucking Las Vegas, sees that Mary gets
- 43:53Speaker 2: no time with Cody, right She doesn't advocate for Mary,
- 43:57Speaker 2: like to keep your family together. She knows because she's
- 44:00Speaker 2: reading the books, she's looking at the books, she's handling
- 44:01Speaker 2: the money, she's doing the taxes. I think she knows
- 44:04Speaker 2: there's financial abuse that's taking place, right. Yeah, she said
- 44:06Speaker 2: last season or the season before, like, I see where
- 44:08Speaker 2: the money goes, Like, you don't need to be paying
- 44:10Speaker 2: for all of that while I'm in an RV bitch, right,
- 44:12Speaker 2: But she's allowing for all of that to take place.
- 44:15Speaker 2: But because she's apathetic and it works for her, like
- 44:17Speaker 2: she's like, I'll just stay here, it's fine.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Yikes.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't have any respect for that.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I don't either. I mean, all of these women stayed
- 44:26Speaker 3: way too fucking long.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Well, and her children have deep wounds as a result
- 44:30Speaker 1: of this. Yeah, he is a wounded girl, all of
- 44:33Speaker 1: them are. Maddie has lost her father in like a
- 44:36Speaker 1: spectacular terrible way.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Yep, they all have.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Gabriel's wounded. The only reason he's not like more wounded
- 44:43Speaker 2: in his day to day life is because he's getting therapy. Yeah,
- 44:46Speaker 2: and he even says like we all need therapy. Everybody
- 44:48Speaker 2: in this family needs therapy and Janelle's like, you're right, well, Janelle,
- 44:51Speaker 2: are you getting it?
- 44:52Speaker 3: Yeah? No, she's not.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Is Mary getting it? Is Christine getting it? Who's getting therapy?
- 44:58Speaker 2: Because you do all need it?
- 44:59Speaker 3: They all need it God. And then what else did
- 45:02Speaker 3: Gabe say? He said, Oh, he talked about like the
- 45:06Speaker 3: only way the family could heal would be if Cody
- 45:09Speaker 3: took accountability. But that would take an act of God,
- 45:12Speaker 3: which kind of just proves all of our theories that like,
- 45:14Speaker 3: Cody's never going to get better, he's never going to change.
- 45:18Speaker 3: I wish he would. I thought after Garrison maybe he would.
- 45:23Speaker 3: But if that scene from last week, that fake staged
- 45:27Speaker 3: fight was filmed after Garrison's passing, then there's literally no
- 45:32Speaker 3: hope for these two.
- 45:32Speaker 2: It doesn't even have to be that Beatrice. The fact
- 45:35Speaker 2: that he hasn't reached out to Savannah twenty four after
- 45:38Speaker 2: she lost her brother and after Garrison was so lonely
- 45:41Speaker 2: her needing his father. So he knows this about his
- 45:44Speaker 2: son and what happened to Garrison, and he's still not
- 45:46Speaker 2: reaching out to Savannah, the most innocent of them.
- 45:49Speaker 3: All Right, do you think they're going to have some
- 45:51Speaker 3: like performative SOB story at the end of the season
- 45:54Speaker 3: when we finally catch up, Like, do you think we're
- 45:56Speaker 3: going to see any kind of real emotion back them.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know. I don't know.
- 46:01Speaker 3: I just don't understand how you could be like that
- 46:03Speaker 3: as a person. But I guess I'm not a piece.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Of shit, So no, that's why, Yeah, I cannot relate.
- 46:08Speaker 3: God, what else was there anything else from Janelle and Gabe?
- 46:12Speaker 2: Not really, just my overall observation that Gabe has been
- 46:16Speaker 2: dealt a really shitty hand, but he's handling it like
- 46:18Speaker 2: a g like he's handling it so well. Remember Christine
- 46:23Speaker 2: said more kids should be like Michelte trying to, you know,
- 46:27Speaker 2: ask for what they need. That is such bullshit. You
- 46:30Speaker 2: don't even mean that, Christine.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Ye, more kids, the kids should be more like Gabe.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Like, and it is sad that he has this resignation
- 46:38Speaker 2: and an acceptance of the fact that he's probably never
- 46:41Speaker 2: going to see his dad again. I know he's never
- 46:43Speaker 2: going to have a relationship with Robin and her kids again.
- 46:45Speaker 2: And you know what, he's okay with that.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Yeah, And like, I know he's okay with it. I
- 46:49Speaker 3: know he's saying he's okay with it. But that's like
- 46:52Speaker 3: such a deep wound, like as somebody who doesn't really
- 46:55Speaker 3: have like the best relationships with my parents and that's
- 46:58Speaker 3: all I want in my life. Like that's such a
- 47:01Speaker 3: painful thing. Even if you do accept it, still fucking sucks. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 3: still really sucks. So I feel for Gabe, but I'm
- 47:07Speaker 3: really glad.
- 47:07Speaker 2: He's in therapy. Well, let's go uncensored. Okay, if you
- 47:10Speaker 2: wouldn't mind come back from uncensored. We're talking about Gabe
- 47:14Speaker 2: and how Gabe is younger than you, but he's gotten
- 47:17Speaker 2: therapy and he's in such a great place.
- 47:19Speaker 3: He's so much better off, like dealing with this shit
- 47:23Speaker 3: show of a family and this breakup of a family,
- 47:25Speaker 3: and I think he even mentions it at the end
- 47:27Speaker 3: of their scene, like to have your family break up
- 47:30Speaker 3: in such a catastrophic way, Like, of course I need therapy.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Of course I need to deal with it. So I'm
- 47:35Speaker 3: glad he's getting the help he needs and he's obviously
- 47:38Speaker 3: handling it pretty well.
- 47:39Speaker 2: By the way, if you want to be privy to
- 47:41Speaker 2: our uncensored bits, all you have to do is go
- 47:42Speaker 2: to reality tv Patreon dot com slash reality tv cringe.
- 47:47Speaker 2: We share it all in video form and it's only
- 47:49Speaker 2: for the patrons.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Yea.
- 47:51Speaker 2: But I was telling her earlier tonight. There's this song
- 47:54Speaker 2: by Nine Inch Nails called Only, and there's a line
- 47:57Speaker 2: that Trent sings, which is, I just made you up
- 48:00Speaker 2: to hurt myself. And that always stuck with me because
- 48:05Speaker 2: I was involved with like terrible, despicable people in romantic relationships,
- 48:09Speaker 2: and I noticed myself being in relationship with a person
- 48:14Speaker 2: that I envisioned them to be in my mind, or
- 48:17Speaker 2: like who I really wanted them to be in my mind,
- 48:19Speaker 2: but not the actual person who was right in front
- 48:22Speaker 2: of me. And the fact that I kept doing that
- 48:24Speaker 2: over and over, it's like, I'm just making this person
- 48:26Speaker 2: up to hurt myself. And so Gabe seems to have
- 48:30Speaker 2: moved beyond that. No longer like needing to make up
- 48:33Speaker 2: this version of Cody as being this awesome father who's
- 48:36Speaker 2: always loved them and love should be multiplied and not divided. No,
- 48:39Speaker 2: he's seeing his dad for who he is, so he
- 48:42Speaker 2: doesn't have to continue to hurt himself by wanting a
- 48:44Speaker 2: different person to show up who's never going to show up.
- 48:47Speaker 3: I'm glad that he learned that it's a hard less
- 48:49Speaker 3: and it's a really.
- 48:50Speaker 2: It's a hardless to learn. Oh, it's so hard. Let's
- 48:53Speaker 2: get to marry now because.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Spirits over there, maybe they're so happy for her.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I think this is great, although I think it's a
- 49:01Speaker 3: little silly. Oh okay, what like, because you're you've been
- 49:04Speaker 3: legally divorced for so long, you know what I mean.
- 49:06Speaker 2: It's different from spirit her spiritual divorce, which is very
- 49:09Speaker 2: meaningful to her. And it's kind of interesting to me
- 49:12Speaker 2: that Mary is the last one who has any faith
- 49:16Speaker 2: I know, this entire family.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and that shows her loyalty.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Though it does show her loyalty, doesn't it.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Yes, But I thought it was crazy that she went
- 49:25Speaker 3: to the church leaders and asked for a release. She
- 49:28Speaker 3: wanted Cody to be involved. She gave him the opportunity,
- 49:32Speaker 3: and he just ignored her. Yep, he didn't even risk
- 49:36Speaker 3: no effort whatsoever. And so I'm glad the church leaders
- 49:39Speaker 3: like didn't give her any fight with it. They just
- 49:42Speaker 3: granted her the release on the grounds of abandonment. They
- 49:46Speaker 3: called Cody's bitch ass up to tell him, yeah, you
- 49:50Speaker 3: abandoned your wife and probably some other shit that Cody
- 49:54Speaker 3: won't say.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Yeah, he will not disclose because he didn't like what
- 49:57Speaker 2: he heard.
- 49:57Speaker 3: Yeah, he didn't approve of it.
- 49:59Speaker 2: It's a man to telling him. It's a man telling
- 50:01Speaker 2: him who he is and what he's done, and he
- 50:03Speaker 2: can't take it.
- 50:04Speaker 3: And even Mary says Cody doesn't like the word abandonment
- 50:07Speaker 3: because he doesn't think that he abandoned Mary, which is cuckoo.
- 50:12Speaker 2: It's cuckoo. And Mary then says, I feel that he
- 50:15Speaker 2: did abandon me because he did.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Absolutely, he emotionally ghosted you.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Yeah. Yes, So I'm glad she got the release. I
- 50:21Speaker 3: just think it's like kind of silly and crazy that
- 50:23Speaker 3: she's the only one with faith left, like nobody else
- 50:26Speaker 3: gives a shit about their faith.
- 50:27Speaker 2: No, And I was surprised to hear from Christine. She's
- 50:30Speaker 2: just like, yeah, I didn't ask the church leaders for
- 50:32Speaker 2: a release because I don't respect them. They have no
- 50:35Speaker 2: power over me, and I'm not a part of the faith.
- 50:37Speaker 2: I'm like, whoa, Wow, that's an emotional reaction to a
- 50:40Speaker 2: faith that you absolutely grew up in and and doctrine
- 50:44Speaker 2: like you were the princess of the au B.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:46Speaker 2: I would like to hear more about this. Yeah, this
- 50:48Speaker 2: is the kind of shit that I would like to
- 50:49Speaker 2: hear instead of shit about Michelte's placental like talk about
- 50:53Speaker 2: you're disentangling yourself from the AUB which your whole family
- 50:56Speaker 2: is a part of. That's fascinating to me. Yeah.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Even Janelle was saying it, like she's like, we don't
- 51:01Speaker 3: We're not involved with any of the church leaders, not
- 51:03Speaker 3: involved with the church anymore, so like I don't feel
- 51:06Speaker 3: the need to get a spiritual release, and so I'm like, Okay,
- 51:09Speaker 3: does that mean you're also abandoning the faith. She's not
- 51:11Speaker 3: really saying it, like, because she's been.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Talking about how she still has her faith. Yeah, other episodes,
- 51:16Speaker 2: like she still believes. Maybe she's gone from flds to
- 51:19Speaker 2: LDAs or from out of AUB into regular eldias.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I don't know, girl, I don't know. It's too many
- 51:24Speaker 3: sex to remember.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Irrespective, both Christine and Janelle are they seem to be
- 51:30Speaker 2: genuinely happy for Mary. Yeah, Mary got the release because
- 51:33Speaker 2: that's what Mary wanted. And good for Mary, you got
- 51:35Speaker 2: what you wanted.
- 51:36Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 51:36Speaker 2: And then we panned to Robin, Yeah, sitting on the
- 51:41Speaker 2: couch crying about how she always envisioned Cody and her
- 51:47Speaker 2: and Mary with a sense of destiny. Just Mary, we
- 51:50Speaker 2: would have a future together and like how heartbreaking it is?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Okay, as if we feel sorry, And then Cody also
- 52:00Speaker 3: saying that he was waiting on God because Robin told
- 52:03Speaker 3: him to right, and it took him so long to
- 52:06Speaker 3: realize that he didn't want to be with Mary anymore.
- 52:08Speaker 3: And he's sorry for that, But he's not saying that
- 52:11Speaker 3: he abandoned her. He's saying he's actually blaming Robin because
- 52:15Speaker 3: Robin gave him the advice to wait on God right
- 52:17Speaker 3: for his marriage.
- 52:18Speaker 2: But then he says, I actually waited because I was
- 52:20Speaker 2: afraid of what Mary was going to do, because when
- 52:23Speaker 2: you get divorced, it trashes your reputation. And Mary is
- 52:27Speaker 2: not loyal, never loyal, has never been.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Loyal, which is the craziest. Has never been loyal and
- 52:35Speaker 1: it's so crazy.
- 52:36Speaker 3: She was literally the last one.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what she was sitting there when Christine was saying
- 52:43Speaker 2: I'm gonna leave the family with a stony face, like
- 52:47Speaker 2: a bitch face, she walked out with Cody and Robin.
- 52:52Speaker 2: She's been there for you when she's presended you, she
- 52:56Speaker 2: hasn't called you out in your bullshit, and she could.
- 52:58Speaker 3: She's got thirty two years of all of your secrets
- 53:02Speaker 3: and all of this bullshit. She was the first wife.
- 53:04Speaker 3: She knows the person that you are.
- 53:07Speaker 1: She knows where those bodies are buried.
- 53:09Speaker 2: And that's kind of the question I had Beatris, Well,
- 53:11Speaker 2: what are you afraid of Mary saying?
- 53:13Speaker 3: Then?
- 53:13Speaker 2: What does that mean that he's gay? What does she
- 53:18Speaker 2: know that you do not want us to know? What
- 53:20Speaker 2: do you not want Mary to say?
- 53:22Speaker 3: Oh my god, I just wanted to say.
- 53:24Speaker 2: She's never gonna say it.
- 53:25Speaker 3: I know, let it go. She says it in this episode,
- 53:28Speaker 3: like I don't want to be the bitter wife, and
- 53:29Speaker 3: I'm like, why not?
- 53:30Speaker 2: Please be the bitter wife. Write a book.
- 53:33Speaker 3: I've had it on the vision board this whole entire
- 53:35Speaker 3: time of like Mary writing this amazing tell all book.
- 53:39Speaker 3: I mean, come on, Mary, if you're listening, you would
- 53:41Speaker 3: make so much fucking she's the carrot. Yeah, but like
- 53:45Speaker 3: she's making so much more money.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I just don't hold your breath.
- 53:48Speaker 4: I know.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Okay, last, but not Lisa, Let's get to Robin Zannie
- 53:52Speaker 2: brained crying on the bathroom floor with her.
- 53:55Speaker 3: One in the morning.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Her ugly sink, which is carved out of rock.
- 53:59Speaker 3: It's horrible.
- 54:00Speaker 2: The gaudiest people I've ever seen ever.
- 54:02Speaker 3: But it's so fancy that sink probably costs like two
- 54:04Speaker 3: grand I know, but it's ugly.
- 54:06Speaker 2: It's horrible money for you.
- 54:07Speaker 3: It's so bad. Yeah, she's crying because when she was
- 54:14Speaker 3: growing up, she got her destimony of plural marriage and
- 54:19Speaker 3: this was her destiny to live out this life. And
- 54:22Speaker 3: now she's just got to accept that it's never gonna happen,
- 54:25Speaker 3: and that she will never have the perfect family, the
- 54:29Speaker 3: perfect Christmases.
- 54:31Speaker 2: That's all she cares that.
- 54:32Speaker 3: That's all she cares about.
- 54:33Speaker 2: That's literally all she cares about is the holiday. Yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 2: her Deckenzian village on display, her big fucking Christmas tree,
- 54:41Speaker 2: and having people over so that she can be the
- 54:44Speaker 2: bell of the ball, the favorite wife conducting the ceremony.
- 54:50Speaker 2: And then everybody gets to leave, go back to their
- 54:51Speaker 2: hovels and she siphons away all their money, which their
- 54:55Speaker 2: husband cares about Christmas.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it. Just the image. It it makes me
- 55:01Speaker 3: wish unspeakable things on her because it's just like you
- 55:04Speaker 3: don't deserve that, after how you contributed to the breakup
- 55:08Speaker 3: of this family, Like you don't deserve to have all
- 55:11Speaker 3: of this like celebration and this big fucking family. Fuck you,
- 55:15Speaker 3: if you actually cared, you would have made the effort
- 55:18Speaker 3: with everybody. You turned everyone against each other. You turned
- 55:22Speaker 3: Cody against all of his wives and let him do that.
- 55:26Speaker 3: Like even if you didn't have a hand in that. Like,
- 55:29Speaker 3: let's say we believe you that you have been trying
- 55:32Speaker 3: to get Cody to have relationships with his kids and
- 55:34Speaker 3: have relationships with his wives, you still let him do
- 55:38Speaker 3: all of this. You still let him break up the
- 55:40Speaker 3: entire family. He's the one that destroyed your dream. He's
- 55:43Speaker 3: the one that destroyed your perfect Christmases, not anybody else.
- 55:46Speaker 2: And not just Cody that she turned. She turned her
- 55:48Speaker 2: own kids, right, who had actual relationships with the other kids,
- 55:52Speaker 2: She turned them against the family right as well. And
- 55:55Speaker 2: now you're going to sit in your big mcmansin and
- 55:57Speaker 2: you can cry all you want, but she's gonna make
- 56:00Speaker 2: it sweet for her kids because she loves her kids.
- 56:02Speaker 3: I'm just gonna have to do it whatever.
- 56:04Speaker 2: And then Christine talks about how we need to have
- 56:06Speaker 2: new family traditions. And yes, our Christmases were awesome, there
- 56:09Speaker 2: was a lot of love, but we need to forge
- 56:12Speaker 2: new traditions and it's gonna look a little different, but
- 56:15Speaker 2: it's going to be beautiful.
- 56:16Speaker 3: I liked that.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I did as well.
- 56:18Speaker 3: I thought that was sweet and that is a good
- 56:20Speaker 3: way to kind of put this, like, you can make
- 56:22Speaker 3: new memories that are good and that's great. Sometimes that's
- 56:25Speaker 3: just how life is. It changes. Yes, but Robin, I
- 56:29Speaker 3: don't believe you.
- 56:30Speaker 2: I don't believe her either.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I don't care that your cross is a performance.
- 56:32Speaker 3: This is so dumb, and you're high on xanax. I
- 56:35Speaker 3: wish you'd give me.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Some something's going on. Just the way she was talking,
- 56:38Speaker 2: I know, so I didn't know if maybe Cody was
- 56:40Speaker 2: sleeping in the room right next to her, but her,
- 56:44Speaker 2: the set of her jaw was a little strange. Maybe
- 56:47Speaker 2: frown was really.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Exacerbated and was like, oh girl, pull the phone away.
- 56:52Speaker 2: I know, such a boomer angle.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I know, we don't need to see up your nose
- 56:55Speaker 1: to your one brain cell.
- 56:57Speaker 3: No, Dabby was on full displace.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Dabby was making it a bears.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Oh my godly patrons know that. Yeah, I just I
- 57:06Speaker 3: don't know. I don't feel bad for her. I think
- 57:08Speaker 3: maybe she did film this because she was having some
- 57:11Speaker 3: like late night, anxiety of like her reputation, Like how
- 57:15Speaker 3: am I going to be perceived?
- 57:16Speaker 5: Like?
- 57:17Speaker 3: What else can I film? What else can I put
- 57:19Speaker 3: in this show to make people have sympathy for me?
- 57:23Speaker 3: Let me go crime at closet on Christmas Eve.
- 57:25Speaker 2: At the end of the day, though, what I think
- 57:27Speaker 2: production needs to hear from me is like, I don't care.
- 57:30Speaker 2: I don't care to see this. I don't care about
- 57:32Speaker 2: her fake crying trying to manifest fucking wetness out of
- 57:36Speaker 2: her eyes. I don't care about her sobs story. I
- 57:39Speaker 2: don't believe any of it. They're just lying. They're really
- 57:41Speaker 2: wasting our time. Show us things that are more interesting,
- 57:43Speaker 2: Like I said, the aub the disentaglement, the release, all
- 57:46Speaker 2: of this is way more interesting than Robin crying on
- 57:48Speaker 2: the floor in her bathroom with her big stone sink.
- 57:50Speaker 3: I know, for real, But we end the episode with that.
- 57:53Speaker 3: We do. It's the cherry on top of the shit
- 57:56Speaker 3: Sunday Robin Brown crying. It's like, how many time we
- 58:00Speaker 3: have to see this woman cry? I don't know, it's
- 58:02Speaker 3: a fake cry, yeah, fake cry.
- 58:03Speaker 2: And then there's Cody saying I wish she would just
- 58:06Speaker 2: let it go and accept it as I have. I've
- 58:08Speaker 2: accepted that this is what we've got. We've got a
- 58:10Speaker 2: monogamous relationship, and the only thing I pray for is
- 58:14Speaker 2: for me and Robin.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Oh that was wild, right, that I pray the most
- 58:17Speaker 3: for my marriage with Robin to succeed. It's like, okay,
- 58:20Speaker 3: so then again, you only care about Robin and her
- 58:24Speaker 3: break tents and pussy. We get it, yep. Oh so frustrating.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Then we have the preview. We have Mary saying she's
- 58:31Speaker 3: not going to spend Christmas with Cody and Robin. Duh.
- 58:35Speaker 3: We have Christine telling her kids that she loves Steven,
- 58:42Speaker 3: and then we have Mary and Cody having an argument
- 58:45Speaker 3: about him wishing he never married her, which I can't
- 58:49Speaker 3: wait to see, but we're probably going to see that
- 58:51Speaker 3: in like three weeks.
- 58:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:52Speaker 2: I think that's the conversation where he's talking about, like
- 58:55Speaker 2: the real mistake is marrying somebody I didn't love. Christ
- 58:58Speaker 2: she's like getting mad, yeah in that scene, and I
- 59:01Speaker 2: hope she says something, please. I hope she talks back.
- 59:05Speaker 2: I hope she fights with him. But he looks like
- 59:06Speaker 2: such a miserable cunt.
- 59:08Speaker 3: Oh.
- 59:09Speaker 2: I know, he's really fucking awful he.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Is really fucking I hate him so much me too.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Was there anything else that we have to say before
- 59:15Speaker 2: I lose my voice?
- 59:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 59:16Speaker 4: So?
- 59:16Speaker 2: Is there anything else that we have to say to
- 59:18Speaker 2: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on out of here? Beatrice?
- 59:21Speaker 3: Well, if you love our podcast, you then we go
- 59:24Speaker 3: into your favorite podcast platform and leave us a glowing
- 59:27Speaker 3: five star review. It really helps us grow the pod
- 59:30Speaker 3: so more people can join the Dumpsters. We really appreciated.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 59:33Speaker 2: We will be back later this week. We are doubling
- 59:36Speaker 2: up on mom Talk on the secret lives of Mormon wives,
- 59:39Speaker 2: so make sure to come back for that, and until then,
- 59:42Speaker 2: please do not forget that we have nothing but love
- 59:44Speaker 2: for you and peace.
- 59:47Speaker 3: Night bye guys,
