  Details have been released for the 2026 NT City to Surf and yes there is a new course.

  It's all happening Sunday 14th of June and as always the event is well timed

  for a beautiful dry season morning.

  Now the popular event has moved away from the city to the Nightcliff Foreshore
• 0:35
  course with the new track incorporating the spectacular East Point Reserve.

  Participants undertaking the 13km course will start on the Esplanade,

  run along Daly Street, down Gardens Road before a steep climb up Gilroos Avenue

  and will continue along East Point Road out to the point past Pee Wees,

  the one that looks back on the city, before looping back along the same path

  before incorporating Atkins Drive and finishing at the iconic Mindle Beach.

  For those who feel that the 13km course is too challenging, there's also a 4km

  mini-surfer course starting and finishing at Mindle Beach as well as the Macca's Mile.

  You can register as a participant or as a volunteer on the website citytosurf.com.au.

  Remember, you must register prior to the event. Now, the NT City to Surf event

  attracts big numbers. I've done the event for the past three years and I can't

  wait to jog and walk the new 13-kilometre course.
