- 0:00It's laced up. Let's go. It's time for Banter
- 0:04of the Boys. Welcome back to our final AFC preview
- 0:17here on Gridiron Updates with Banter of the Boys,
- 0:19of course. Rob, next to me. Yes, I am. Ready
- 0:23for another year. Ready. Ready to go. Football
- 0:26season, baby. Football season's here. Kev behind
- 0:30the camera getting everything done for us as
- 0:32always. We won't waste any time here and just
- 0:35hop right into this as well as we wrap up our
- 0:39AFC. Let's see here. Let's start with the Raiders.
- 0:44Let's just get them out of the way. Sorry, Raiders
- 0:46fans. I kind of feel that way about you. This
- 0:49is another tough division, low -key, other than
- 0:52the Raiders that went out and acquired. Gentry?
- 0:57Pete Carroll. The coach. Pete Carroll. They did
- 1:00acquire Gentry. Everybody's freaking out. He
- 1:04didn't have a good preseason. I don't think that
- 1:06matters. Well, the first game, he won for them.
- 1:09But what I am worried about with Gentry is they
- 1:11ran him a lot at Boise State. So I'm just worried
- 1:15about workload. You have Raheem Mostert sitting
- 1:18there on the bench. Make sure you use them. That's
- 1:20my only request. That's why you got them. He
- 1:23didn't do that well last year in Miami. No, no.
- 1:25But that's my only request. Raiders went 4 -13
- 1:28last year. Bottom of the barrel. I have the Tom
- 1:32Brady -owned Raiders going 6 -11. 6 -11. Why
- 1:366 -11? 6 -11. I think a little bit of a change
- 1:40of culture. Time to turn things around there
- 1:42a little bit. It's going to be a little bit better
- 1:44this season. At least a competent quarterback
- 1:48in Geno Smith. Agreed, agreed. So six cents.
- 1:53You got one of the best, probably the best young
- 1:56tight end in the league. Oh, for sure. Offensive
- 1:58weapon tight end in the league, you know, and
- 2:00Brock Powers. I mean, he's already top eight,
- 2:02five tight ends in the NFL? Probably top eight
- 2:07at least. He could be approaching top five. He
- 2:10might be like six. I don't want to sit there
- 2:11and go through my whole brain of how many there
- 2:13is. Andrews came to my mind right away. He had
- 2:16a rough season last year. Anyway. Watching the
- 2:19wrong games, buddy. No, no. But, yeah, Raiders
- 2:23I'm not too excited about. They're going to finish
- 2:25last in the division for me. Obviously, Max Crosby
- 2:28is a treat to watch. They got a couple pieces
- 2:30there on defense. Jeremy Chin still kind of getting
- 2:33it done from the safety position. Obviously,
- 2:35picking up Eric Stokes from the Green Bay Packers,
- 2:38who's lost both their corners. Can't wait to
- 2:40talk about Green Bay next week. Yeah, I love
- 2:42it. He's open. Yeah, right. So, I don't know.
- 2:47I don't have a lot to say. I'm not really excited
- 2:49for the Raiders, you know, for them. You're not?
- 2:52I think it's an easier win this year. No win
- 2:56is easy in the NFL. We know this. But I think,
- 2:59again, the likes of the Titans, shoot, the Cardinals
- 3:04could beat the Raiders. So I don't know. Yeah,
- 3:08I got them improving a little bit. I got them
- 3:11at 10 and 7. I like Pete Carroll, 73 -year -old,
- 3:1418 years, coming back in. Oh, my God. Gentry?
- 3:20I mean, I think he's going to be a really nice
- 3:22piece for him. It does scare me a little bit,
- 3:24the workload of college on the NFL side. I think
- 3:27they ran him over 300 times last season alone.
- 3:31But Geno's nice. They still, you know, they got,
- 3:33like you said, Bauer. They got Myers, Trey Tucker.
- 3:37And then they did pick up the TCU receiver in
- 3:40the second round, Jack Beck. Is that right? I
- 3:43think you're right. That's how you say it right
- 3:44there. O -line kind of the same as last year.
- 3:47So that's why I don't think they're going to
- 3:49get over the top, you know, above 500. Defensively.
- 3:54They struggled over 25 a game. I'm telling you,
- 3:57I'm not super excited for them. And then Christian
- 4:00Wilkinson, they paid big money. They kicked him
- 4:03out of for locker room. That's a whole weird
- 4:05situation. That's a whole different kind of thing.
- 4:06He hasn't been picked up by anybody else since,
- 4:08right? Yeah, so obviously the league's all, you
- 4:10know. Something's not cool. So on that Aspen,
- 4:14they did lose Robert Splane, their top tackler
- 4:17last year. So they did pick up Pratt from Cincy.
- 4:22Jack Jones. He needs to step it up. All over
- 4:27the board. They got a good kicker. Our old draft
- 4:30pick from the Vikings, Daniel Carlson, becoming
- 4:32the top five kicker in the league. Yeah, 7 -10,
- 4:37I think culture is going to change a little bit.
- 4:38They do coming off a last -place schedule, so
- 4:40that's why I have a little bit of a bump. You
- 4:43have them at 7 -10? 7 -10. For some reason, I
- 4:46think. And I think just Pete Carroll with the
- 4:49consistency of Geno Smith that brings to that
- 4:52not as many turnovers as they had last year on
- 4:55offense. So that's where I think. And they needed
- 4:58to rush the ball. They were the worst rushing
- 5:00team in the league last year. Gave up 50 sacks.
- 5:04They did the right thing. They picked up the
- 5:06right guy in the draft. They did. So that O -line
- 5:09just needs to step up, you know. So I think they
- 5:12have a chance to – I don't think they'll get
- 5:15over 500, but I just – No way. Yeah, their schedule,
- 5:19though, it helps them out a little bit. 6 -11.
- 5:226 -11. Well, we almost got them the same. Yeah,
- 5:26yeah, yeah. All right, all right. Let's move
- 5:29on to – Let's do the Chargers next because the
- 5:32Chargers for me, who went 11 -6 last year. Jacob
- 5:39said don't sleep on Pete and Gino. Stop, Jake.
- 5:42Stop. Don't sleep on Pete and Gino. Get out of
- 5:46here. We have Facebook Live rolling over here,
- 5:49too, while we're recording this, so we've got
- 5:50a couple comments coming in. Jake's one of our
- 5:52guests that will be on this season to talk about
- 5:54his Ravens, who we think could go to the Super
- 5:58Bowl. He doesn't think so. Can't wait to hear
- 6:00that. He's out. Can't wait to hear that. Anyway,
- 6:03we're talking about the Chargers, and we're wasting
- 6:04this time talking about the Ravens. What are
- 6:06we doing? Chargers won 11 -6 last year. I have
- 6:09them at 10 -7. I have... Three straight losses
- 6:15for the Chargers late in the season that makes
- 6:18the difference for me. The Chargers could miss
- 6:20the playoffs even, too, this year. Those three
- 6:24late L's come to the Eagles, the Chiefs, and
- 6:27the Cowboys, actually. That's a tough way to
- 6:29finish. Oh, for sure. So I'm a little worried
- 6:32about that. As far as the team as a whole, I
- 6:36actually think Najee Harris might be a good addition
- 6:40for the Chargers. What did he say? Did he say
- 6:44something else? He said liars. Whatever. Jake's
- 6:47just losing it over here. You need somebody other
- 6:50than Ladd McConkie. Sorry, QJ's not getting it
- 6:53done anymore. You don't think so? He can't catch
- 6:54the ball. Keenan Allen's back. Cool. That's cool
- 6:58as a Chargers fan. That's fun to see, but it's
- 7:01not enough. You need to get another weapon in
- 7:04there. Jalen Rager's on the roster right now.
- 7:06What are we doing? O -line -wise, you know, Joe
- 7:10Walt came out last year, played outstanding.
- 7:13Sucks to lose Rashawn Slater immediately after
- 7:16that contract extension. Mekhi Becton's not bad.
- 7:20The O -line as a whole really isn't bad in L
- 7:22.A. Agreed. Defensively, I'm sorry, I'm just
- 7:26stealing the whole thing. No, you go, go, go,
- 7:28go. But defensively, again, it's another aging
- 7:31defense. They lost Joey Bosa, but again, wasn't
- 7:36really on the field ever, so I agree with you
- 7:38there. It was fun to watch Joey for a couple
- 7:40years and then watch him in street clothes every
- 7:43Sunday. You know, Khalil Mack, I don't know.
- 7:48It's underwhelming to me. I'm a big Derwin James
- 7:51guy, have been for a long time, but again, everybody's
- 7:53just... Attending to get older, I feel like they're
- 7:56not necessarily getting better right now. So
- 7:59that's why I have the Chargers having one less
- 8:04win than last year. But it could be worse. I
- 8:06think they could even go 9 -8. 8 -9 this season,
- 8:10100%. I love it. This is probably the most honest
- 8:12take that anyone else has ever had. He's a Chargers
- 8:16fan. More of a Vikes fan, but a big Chargers
- 8:19fan. You always kind of want to give a winner
- 8:21to one of your other teams you like. But they
- 8:24will beat the Vikings. They have the Vikings
- 8:26number. I mean, I'm coming at 10 -7. I think
- 8:30Justin Herbert was matched up with, I can't think
- 8:35of his last name right now. Harbaugh? Harbaugh.
- 8:38I think that's where maybe Oakland can get next
- 8:43year. But I think this is the second year they
- 8:46came out. I mean, 11 -6 was a big surprise. I
- 8:51just think of the consistency. They run the ball.
- 8:53Harris is an upgrade. He ran for over 1 ,000
- 8:58yards last year, which is kind of a weird number.
- 9:00Last three years, he's ran over 1 ,000. He's
- 9:02a good running back for Harbaugh's system. Exactly
- 9:05for that. So I'm really curious to see how he
- 9:06does. And then they did pick up that Trey Harris
- 9:11from Ole Miss in the second round to help on
- 9:14that receiver thought process that you were worried
- 9:16about. I just think they have enough. Brandon
- 9:20is not going to, you know, but he's still a what?
- 9:23All over 1 ,100 yards last year, seven touchdowns.
- 9:27So he was kind of getting the job done. The left
- 9:29tackle is a big hurt. I almost want to switch
- 9:32that to like nine and eight now just with that.
- 9:34Dude, it sucks. Because he's kind of a difference
- 9:36maker. That was a huge deal. Huge deal. And then
- 9:38the Hampton running back in the first round from
- 9:40North Carolina, right into that system. Don't
- 9:42hate that. Just right back into that with him
- 9:44and Harris. And then defensively, they were number
- 9:47one in the league yards per game. So they just
- 9:50need to, you know, again, stopping. it i guess
- 9:53um they just need to do a little bit better job
- 9:55against the run overall i think they're just
- 9:58kind of flying all over the field with harbaugh's
- 10:00system you know so that's why i still got them
- 10:02at 10 and 7 fair enough fair enough no i think
- 10:05they're another team that's going to be kind
- 10:07of in every game it's just going to come down
- 10:10to Who's going to close that thing out at the
- 10:13end? And this year you don't think they're going
- 10:15to do it. Something's telling me the Chargers
- 10:18are going to have a tough season. They could
- 10:19still sneak in in a wild card. They won't win
- 10:21the division. There's another team that took
- 10:24massive strides last year within the division
- 10:26that is also not going to win the division. Yeah,
- 10:31they didn't really pick anybody up either on
- 10:33the defense side. But their pass D was so good.
- 10:37They were so good. on defense so i think that's
- 10:42where i keep them at 10 and 7 just defensively
- 10:44and then they just don't turn that i think they're
- 10:46the lowest in turnovers last year too on offense
- 10:49so taking care of the ball playing defense that's
- 10:52jim harbaugh going 10 and 6 yep you know all
- 10:55day long sign me up for playoffs sign me up for
- 10:58playoffs you know that's where i think they're
- 11:00going All right. Let's see the next team that
- 11:04we're going to talk about here. Went 10 -7 in
- 11:08the division last year. That is the Denver Broncos.
- 11:12This is an interesting team. This is an interesting
- 11:14team. This is a defense that I actually do like
- 11:20that does seem to be trending upwards. The Broncos,
- 11:27I think, could actually compete with the Chiefs
- 11:30this year. I don't think they're going to win
- 11:32the division, but I only have them one game behind
- 11:34the Chiefs. That's interesting. I mean, I don't
- 11:40totally. I'm at 10 -7 with them. I got them at
- 11:4311 -6. I think they're tied right there with
- 11:46the Chargers. Initially, about a month ago, I
- 11:49was a little higher on them. And I started looking
- 11:51at their schedule last year and actually going,
- 11:53who did they actually play to get to 10 -7 last
- 11:56year? They did really well on the teams that
- 11:59they should have beat, which they beat. But then
- 12:02they went like 1 -8 against the actually playoff
- 12:05caliber teams. So did they really make the big
- 12:10jump to compete with the Chiefs? Or did their
- 12:13schedule just help them out a ton? I think weeks
- 12:163 through 5 this season will tell us that. They
- 12:18play at... the Chargers, and then at home against
- 12:22Cincinnati on Monday night, and then in Philly.
- 12:26If they can go 2 -1 out of those three games,
- 12:29that's enough for me. I think the Broncos will
- 12:32be competitive the rest of the season, probably
- 12:34get a playoff spot. Again, healthy. We don't
- 12:38even need to keep saying healthy. We all know.
- 12:41And it's also, you know, where do we get a second
- 12:44-year Bo Nix? He had 29 tutties, 12 interceptions.
- 12:49Ran for all over 400 yards. Sutton is back. All
- 12:55lines solid. Lowest in pressures. I think their
- 12:59game week 11 against Kansas City right before
- 13:02they go to bye. I think that could be a win for
- 13:06the Broncos. And then when you said Cincinnati,
- 13:08that game right there, I feel like that could
- 13:10be whether they make the playoffs. If you were
- 13:12a fan, you look back in the season, like, oh,
- 13:14if we would have beat Denver, if you're a Cincy
- 13:17fan, we'll be in the playoffs. For sure. In that
- 13:20game, it's going to be, can Denver's defense
- 13:22keep up with Cincinnati's offense? If they can,
- 13:24absolutely. I think Denver's offense can do enough
- 13:27damage to Cincy's defense. That's Trey Hendrickson
- 13:30-less, potentially. Can do enough damage to win
- 13:35that game. Yeah. It's whether their defense,
- 13:37I can keep them in games and then offenses. I'm
- 13:40banking that they can this year. They're like
- 13:42the same thing as the Chiefs. Not the Chiefs,
- 13:45but the Chargers. I know. Same style. I agree.
- 13:47Run the ball, take care of the ball, play solid
- 13:49defense. Their secondary is loaded. And then
- 13:53they drafted Barron from Texas in the first round,
- 13:55too. Put him with Patrick Sedan, Jr. They're
- 14:00stacked on it. I mean, they were like the best
- 14:03in the top, like red zone defense. Yeah. High
- 14:07blitz rate, too. So they just get after you.
- 14:10So that's tough to play against. And then Nick
- 14:15Benito, the 13 sacks, they got a bunch of guys
- 14:21to get the job done. They did pick up Greenlaw
- 14:23from the 49ers. cody barton they did lose courtland
- 14:27sutton just get paid too he did i believe he
- 14:30did too so he had over a thousand you know so
- 14:33i think a second receiver they did get evan ingram
- 14:37from the jacksonville had a horrible year last
- 14:40year but most people are saying that's an upgrade
- 14:43in the tight end area for them they need another
- 14:45running back what happened to giovante williams
- 14:47where did he go he went to i just saw him He
- 14:52went somewhere else. I don't like that he's missing.
- 14:54I thought they still had him. So I liked the
- 14:56thought of J .K. Dobbins with Williams. But Williams
- 14:59is like 3 .3 average since he's been in the league.
- 15:04Who's R .J. Harvey? I don't even know who that
- 15:06guy is. He's a rookie from UCF. I'm curious what
- 15:13he's going to do because J .K. Dobbins, he's
- 15:15not going to play a whole season. That's the
- 15:17problem with J .K. He's got explosiveness. He's
- 15:21got bursts, but he can't stay on the field. But
- 15:23as a Denver fan, they've been drafting running
- 15:27backs for the last five years. I'll never forget
- 15:30them drafting Moneyball. And then just consistently,
- 15:34their best running back in the last 10 years
- 15:35is probably the guy from the Chargers. Charles.
- 15:40Jamal Charles. Am I saying his name right? No.
- 15:43No, not Jamal Charles. He's the Chiefs. Kind
- 15:46of looks like Charles. He has long hair. Who
- 15:49was it? Fast, speedy guy. But he used to play
- 15:53for the Chiefs? No, not at Chiefs at all. Just
- 15:55played for Denver. But it was towards the back
- 15:58end of his career. I'm drawing a blank right
- 16:00now. I'm blanking too. Where's my buddy Nathan?
- 16:05We'll throw it in in a minute. Jacob, look it
- 16:08up. What? Jacob said Najee can't see. He's playing
- 16:11with fireworks. Yeah, that's right. I kind of
- 16:15forgot about that incident. Firework incident
- 16:17going on. He'll be fine. He'll be fine. He'll
- 16:19be fine, Jake. Gosh. He only needs one eye to
- 16:21see the touchdown. Jake, stop watching, okay?
- 16:24Yeah. Jeez. All right. Who do we got? What do
- 16:28we got? Do we do everybody? Oh, the Chiefs. I'm
- 16:31saving it for the Chiefs. Here we go. Let's do
- 16:34it. Hopefully Graham's listening. Where do you
- 16:35have the... Yeah, I'm at... 10 -6, the Broncos?
- 16:38The Broncos, 11 -6. 11 -6. 11 -6. The Chiefs,
- 16:43yes, who went 15 -2 last year, which is crazy
- 16:48to me. They didn't feel like they were that dominant.
- 16:52Wish they weren't. But, again, they just find
- 16:56ways to get things done. I do not understand.
- 17:02Is that saying? Oh, okay. Sorry. I was like,
- 17:05wait a minute. I thought Sky Moore got traded.
- 17:07I'm going to use him with somebody else. He's
- 17:09back, though. Yep, yep, yep. Wait a minute. What
- 17:12do you mean he's back? No, not Sky Moore. Oh,
- 17:14okay. I was thinking Rasheed Rice. Rasheed Rice.
- 17:15Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I like Rice. I think he's
- 17:18a playmaker. He's another speedy guy who can
- 17:20stretch the field 100%. Worthy's interesting.
- 17:24He's more of that. Gadget. That gadget player,
- 17:27yeah, for sure. That Debo, just not the same
- 17:30frame. It's a slightly different gadget player.
- 17:34Kind of like Jamo Williams style. Jamo Williams.
- 17:38Oh, Jamison Williams. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Kansas
- 17:41City, I don't have them going to the Super Bowl
- 17:44this year. I don't have them winning the AFC
- 17:46this year. But I still have them going 12 -5
- 17:50and winning the division 100%. I think it's still
- 17:53the division runs through Arrowhead. I mean,
- 17:57I wanted the Broncos. I don't even know if that
- 17:58will change next year even. I wanted the Broncos
- 18:01for a reason or somebody to replace them. But
- 18:03I just could not find enough wins in the Broncos
- 18:05to get the job done. Patrick Holmes, probably
- 18:09one of his worst statistic numbers. But they
- 18:13had injuries all over the place on offense, and
- 18:16they still made the Super Bowl. I mean, that's
- 18:18just. So interesting. Maybe a little help from
- 18:21the refs, too. No, no, no. Let's not get that
- 18:24started. First episode of the season. Talking
- 18:27about the refs and the Chiefs. Trying to get
- 18:31those clicks. Gotta get the short. People angry
- 18:35at the world. Not a lot's changed offensively
- 18:39for them. Not really. They're actually kind of
- 18:42a young group, too. They're fourth in the league
- 18:44in points given up over 19. They only average
- 18:4622, so they just won by a field goal every game.
- 18:50I see it kind of going that way again for them
- 18:53this year, especially those division games against
- 18:55the Chargers and Broncos. Those are all going
- 18:58to be close games for them this season. Let's
- 19:00see. The Chiefs, actually, I think this is the
- 19:02interesting one for me. Yes. I have them dropping
- 19:06the first two games of the season. They'll still
- 19:09go 12 -5, but I have them starting the season
- 19:110 -2. They're going to lose to the L .A. Chargers
- 19:14in Brazil or whatever because of the field conditions.
- 19:18Yeah, that's how I knew you were going to say
- 19:20field conditions. 100%. Yep. So they're going
- 19:22to lose to the Chargers. Then they're going to
- 19:24lose to Philadelphia at Arrowhead. It's going
- 19:28to be a little surprise, like, oh, God, okay.
- 19:30And then they're going to get their stuff together.
- 19:32They're going to beat the Giants. Them playing
- 19:35Baltimore week four is an interesting matchup.
- 19:38But it's at Arrowhead, so I do have the Chiefs
- 19:40being able to pull that one off. Okay. Just like
- 19:42the beginning of the year last year, the toes
- 19:44of likely. Remember that play? That's right.
- 19:47Yes. What an opening. Jake, do you remember that
- 19:50play? Do you remember? Was he in or out? Josh
- 19:52Marino. No, that was not him. It wasn't Josh
- 19:55Marino either. He's trying to think of the running
- 19:58back for the Denver Broncos. No Sean Marino?
- 20:01It was no Sean Marino. No, that still wasn't
- 20:04him. Anyway, we're just going to sit here and
- 20:10look at each other. We'll start a whole new episode
- 20:11and come back with them, figure that out. But,
- 20:14no, rough start to the season for the Chiefs,
- 20:16but I think they can clean it up. You know, they
- 20:19end the season, Houston, Chargers, Tennessee,
- 20:22Denver, Las Vegas. So there's a couple games
- 20:24in there that are tougher, even before the Houston
- 20:26game. They're at Dallas. I'll touch on Dallas
- 20:30next week, but that's going to be a tough team
- 20:32this year, 100%. They're bouncing back in a big
- 20:34way for me. Ooh, a little preview there for the
- 20:37NFC right there. He's big on Dallas this year.
- 20:39But I was last year, too, but Dak was out. So,
- 20:42anyway, don't get me started on the NFC. That'll
- 20:44be next week. I got you. That'll be next week.
- 20:45So, do you think the Chiefs got better, worse,
- 20:48stayed the same? I think they stayed the same.
- 20:50About the same. Which is fine. If I'm a Chiefs
- 20:52fan. Yeah, right. Exactly. Exactly. Oh, we didn't
- 20:55blow up the team. Awesome. I mean, it's next.
- 20:58injuries you know like pacheco is that running
- 21:00back that's where i think the game they couldn't
- 21:03run the ball at all because no one was on the
- 21:04field you know um but their defense is you're
- 21:08not thinking a cream hunt right no she's still
- 21:10there okay no no he was a fast he was like just
- 21:13a speedster though He was probably there three
- 21:15years. We're going to find this out after we're
- 21:18done hitting record because I've got to know
- 21:20now. I know. But defensively, McDuffie, the secondary
- 21:24is nice. He's still got the stud Hall of Fame
- 21:26Chris Jones in the middle. Nick Bolton running
- 21:30the defense. I would agree. I think this team
- 21:34is primed for another deep playoff run, but I
- 21:36don't have them in the AFC Championship now,
- 21:39of course, depending how seeding lies. For me,
- 21:44it's going to be the Bills versus the Ravens,
- 21:46but will we ever be blessed with that? I'm not
- 21:49sure. Yeah, I think they're going to be right
- 21:51there. They're going to be third. Second, third
- 21:54in the conference, but they're behind the Ravens
- 21:57for me. Mahomes, if he goes down, is the only
- 22:01reason. I don't think there's... Unless they
- 22:03can't. If Mahomes were to go down a mailing in
- 22:06the season for the Chiefs. What do they get?
- 22:09Archie Manning? No, they don't need him. Mahomes,
- 22:13he'll bounce back. He'll bounce back. He's fine.
- 22:15Or trade Mahomes. We have a tinfoil hat for the
- 22:19F1 podcast. We might have to start putting that
- 22:21on. I don't know. What do you think about that,
- 22:23Chiefs fans? No, that's never happening. He's
- 22:26got a lifetime. He's got five more years, I think,
- 22:28left in his contract. Well, if he goes down,
- 22:31they've got Gardner Minshew. They're fine. Oh,
- 22:33yeah. We're fine. That's who I was thinking was
- 22:35running back. Well, that is pretty much going
- 22:41to wrap our AFC West. Well, that's the last AFC
- 22:45division that we're previewing. You asked me
- 22:50a couple episodes ago already now. Who is winning
- 22:54the AFC championship for me? I put the Ravens.
- 22:56I think you did as well. Is that who's going
- 22:59to the Super Bowl for you? Yes, I think the Ravens
- 23:01are the team to beat in the NFL this year. In
- 23:05the NFL? So you think Ravens are the Super Bowl
- 23:07champions? I'll save that maybe for the next
- 23:09episode. Save for next week. We've got to figure
- 23:11out who's going for the NFC. I still think they're
- 23:13the team to beat. I think they got better in
- 23:17so many different ways that I think they're going
- 23:21to compete. Okay. But if you had to pick a team
- 23:24out of the blue, who was it? For the NFC? AFC.
- 23:29Oh. So do you think the Browns could sneak into
- 23:32the playoffs? Because you have them in 9 and
- 23:348. So we're talking like bubble teams really
- 23:35quick? If I had a bubble team that would sneak
- 23:38into the playoffs? Hmm. I mean, yeah, it would
- 23:42have to be somebody from the AFC North for me.
- 23:44Okay. Whether it's Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati,
- 23:47one of those three teams probably makes the playoffs
- 23:49this year. We know Baltimore's going to make
- 23:51it. And then get weird and make a Super Bowl
- 23:52run. No. None of those are capable? No. Okay.
- 23:57Now, a team that I could see, I'm kind of, I
- 24:02don't know, maybe do the Jaguars somehow sneak
- 24:04into an outside wildcard playoff. So not make
- 24:07a run, but if we're talking about a bubble team,
- 24:09and I don't consider them a bubble team, they're
- 24:11just outside the bubble for me. But if we're
- 24:13talking about a team that could just kind of
- 24:15be a surprise a little bit and sneak in, maybe
- 24:16they get a little. Like last year's Rams. New
- 24:19culture. You know, like they weren't supposed
- 24:21to make the playoffs, but they ended up being
- 24:23a really solid team. And they were always a tough.
- 24:26Every week. It felt like we were talking about
- 24:27them every week. We were talking how solid they
- 24:29were. I mean, Jared versus the real deal. But,
- 24:31yeah, that's next week. We'll get into the NFC
- 24:35a little bit and go from there. Don't worry.
- 24:38There will be plenty of Vikings talk. Yes, there
- 24:40will be. But with that, Kev, obviously behind
- 24:44the camera getting everything done for us. Rob
