Woodside Fire Sends Smoke Across Sacramento | Sacramento News
Smoke from the Woodside Fire in Sonoma County is drifting far inland, blanketing Sacramento, Yuba, Solano, and Yolo counties with haze thanks to a southwest wind. As of Friday morning, the blaze had burned 143 acres and was 30% contained, with Cal Fire working to contain it. Expect poor air quality through the afternoon, and even thicker smoke settling overnight around Sacramento, Vacaville, and Woodland as onshore winds pick up.
