- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to ACC football addiction.
- 0:02Speaker 2: This is a Clemson Florida state weekend that we've got
- 0:06Speaker 2: coming up on Halloween night game in Doak Campbell stadium,
- 0:10Speaker 2: all the makings of what should be a nationally televised
- 0:14Speaker 2: and exciting game in this conference.
- 0:15Speaker 1: And unfortunately, Brian, that's not what we've got. We've got
- 0:18Speaker 1: the ACC network.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We've got second fiddle to a lot of better things
- 0:22Speaker 2: going on, but we will still be tuned in. I'll
- 0:24Speaker 2: actually be there. uh, watching the Seminoles and tigers. We
- 0:27Speaker 2: are presented by price picks. We're all new users who
- 0:29Speaker 2: play a $ 5 lineup and win, get 115 lineups instantly.
- 0:32Speaker 2: If they use code HMA coming off that we, we,
- 0:36Speaker 2: we at least lost to the bi-week. So you guys
- 0:38Speaker 2: lost to an actual opponent in Virginia tech last week. Um,
- 0:41Speaker 2: the defense held until it couldn't, uh, and the offense
- 0:44Speaker 2: just didn't, didn't give enough.
- 0:46Speaker 1: There in that one. It felt like, but, um, man,
- 0:49Speaker 1: frustrating times for both programs. And, uh, I don't know, man.
- 0:54Speaker 1: We're in the despair phase.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I don't know where Clemson fans are exactly, but from
- 0:58Speaker 2: the Florida State side, we're in the despair phase.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Where are you guys at right now?
- 1:01Speaker 3: Well, it's according to which Clemson fan you talk to.
- 1:04Speaker 3: More and more of the Clemson fans are coming over
- 1:06Speaker 3: to my side of things, gloom, despair, and agony on me.
- 1:11Speaker 3: When we watch Clemson play, I mean, you mentioned something
- 1:14Speaker 3: there just a second ago. The defense has been improved,
- 1:18Speaker 3: oddly enough, Oddly enough, that's where we have the most
- 1:21Speaker 3: transfer portal players. We go over to the offense.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Funny how that works, isn't it? That thing is something.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It is a phenomenon.
- 1:29Speaker 2: You know, it's funny, too, because you remember when Florida
- 1:33Speaker 2: State beat you guys in the one time Mike Norvell's
- 1:35Speaker 2: done it, 2023?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Every single player who scored was a transfer. Do you
- 1:38Speaker 1: know that? You remember that stat? And I thought that
- 1:41Speaker 1: would be the wake-up call. But no, it was not.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Sorry, go ahead. I'm not even trying to be a jerk.
- 1:47Speaker 2: How they didn't get that.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Listen, if my team was doing well, I would have
- 1:54Speaker 3: a little more pride to fight back. I have nothing left.
- 1:56Speaker 2: No, that wasn't even a shot. I will say, we
- 2:01Speaker 2: had a linebacker take a... No, did Bethune take that back?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Who took that? I don't remember who scored it.
- 2:06Speaker 2: It might have been every offensive player who scored, but anyway,
- 2:10Speaker 2: that's beside the point.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Yeah, no, you're 100% right, but I've said this a
- 2:15Speaker 3: few different times over the course of the season. It
- 2:18Speaker 3: looks like we have two different teams. We have a
- 2:22Speaker 3: team who took a bunch of transfer portal players on
- 2:25Speaker 3: the defense. On the offense, we brought in a running
- 2:28Speaker 3: back room, not taking a shot at that young man,
- 2:30Speaker 3: but We already had a bunch of running backs. We
- 2:32Speaker 3: needed offensive linemen. A lot of people would argue that
- 2:35Speaker 3: we need a transfer portal quarterback and let Tate get
- 2:39Speaker 3: some experience under his belt instead of having to shoulder
- 2:42Speaker 3: the weight of this football team and everything that's going
- 2:44Speaker 3: on with it. It just really looks different. But yeah,
- 2:48Speaker 3: this game coming up between two ACC leaders over the past...
- 2:54Speaker 3: 30 years or something like that. And then to see
- 2:57Speaker 3: this game to be just so underwhelming. So yeah, this
- 3:01Speaker 3: is going to be a really interesting one, especially with
- 3:04Speaker 3: us coming off of a loss that a lot of
- 3:05Speaker 3: people felt like if we could win, maybe we could
- 3:09Speaker 3: go to Charlotte. That was not my opinion. That's not
- 3:12Speaker 3: what I was thinking, but that's what a lot of
- 3:14Speaker 3: people were hoping for. Now that game is a loss
- 3:18Speaker 3: and now we're coming to play you guys.
- 3:22Speaker 2: What'd you think about Tate on Saturday? against Virginia Tech.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And then, yeah, let's start with that, and then I've
- 3:29Speaker 2: got to follow up. But start there.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yeah, so the Clemson community is split. They're split on tape.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Here's my opinion on him. I don't think he's a
- 3:38Speaker 3: bad player. I don't at all. I think he's a
- 3:41Speaker 3: true freshman who sat out his entire senior season due
- 3:45Speaker 3: to injury, coming into an organization who should have went
- 3:50Speaker 3: to the transfer portal and basically loaded up with offensive linemen.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Think about this. A lot of those guys are young too.
- 4:00Speaker 3: They should be on the sidelines being developed, getting rotated
- 4:03Speaker 3: in here and there, but not shouldering the weight of
- 4:06Speaker 3: this offense. So he's having to play behind them. I'm
- 4:10Speaker 3: not taking up nor putting down, taking up for putting
- 4:13Speaker 3: down on Chad Morris. But I mean, you can only
- 4:18Speaker 3: call certain plays if your offensive line can't block for you.
- 4:22Speaker 3: So when I think about all of that, And then
- 4:25Speaker 3: I look at Tate. If he was my son, I'd
- 4:28Speaker 3: be like, son, I love you. Transfer. Because it, I mean,
- 4:33Speaker 3: he's catching and I knew this was going to happen.
- 4:35Speaker 3: A lot of people in Clemson are turning against Tate.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And I said, listen, y'all, did you not learn your
- 4:41Speaker 3: lesson with Kate? Did you not have you, I mean,
- 4:44Speaker 3: how many quarterbacks do we need to go through like
- 4:46Speaker 3: pairs of underwear before you realize maybe it's not the
- 4:51Speaker 3: 19 or 20 year old kid. Maybe it's something else.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So I feel bad for Tate. I feel like he
- 4:58Speaker 3: is in a lose-lose situation. And, I mean, I feel
- 5:03Speaker 3: bad for him. And I guess I'll kind of leave
- 5:05Speaker 3: it at that because there's really nothing more to say,
- 5:08Speaker 3: you know? It's just, it's not a good situation.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The thought that I have around it is, man, he
- 5:16Speaker 2: went 20 for 26, you know? Like, I feel like
- 5:19Speaker 2: when I look at Tate, and I'll say the same
- 5:20Speaker 2: thing about Ashton Daniels, I don't think Ashton Daniels is...
- 5:25Speaker 2: He's not good enough to play at Florida State. And
- 5:28Speaker 2: that's not me disparaging the kid. That's not me saying
- 5:30Speaker 2: that he's not a good person or anything like that.
- 5:34Speaker 2: He's not high enough quality quarterback to play at a
- 5:39Speaker 2: place like FSU, a storied program like Florida State.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Tate could be one day.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Tate should not be playing at Clemson University as a
- 5:47Speaker 2: true freshman right now. That is not Tate's fault. It
- 5:51Speaker 2: is not Ashton Daniels' fault that he's playing at Florida State.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I appreciate what both of them are doing in different
- 5:55Speaker 2: ways in saying the, going out there and doing the
- 6:02Speaker 2: very best they can in not good situations.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I think Ashton has been better than I expected.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I don't think he's one of the top five problems
- 6:09Speaker 2: with this roster, but I think they're in similar spots
- 6:12Speaker 2: there where I don't think either one of them is
- 6:14Speaker 2: playing terribly. I just don't think they were set up
- 6:18Speaker 2: for success, and you've got to look at the people
- 6:21Speaker 2: in charge, not the play. Tate can go out and
- 6:24Speaker 2: throw three picks on Saturday night and go throw three touchdowns.
- 6:26Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. He's put in a position to not succeed.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Same thing with Ashton Daniels.
- 6:31Speaker 2: You go make him throw the ball 50 times in Tuscaloosa,
- 6:35Speaker 2: he's going to throw three picks.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Like that's just what's going to happen, man. So I
- 6:39Speaker 1: don't blame Daniels. Certainly in the moment of games, you're like, damn,
- 6:42Speaker 1: what are you doing? What are you thinking? Like, yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 1: that's fine.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But when I'm sitting here watching film, watching games, I'm
- 6:47Speaker 2: blaming him, man. It's kind of like, I'm not blaming Norvell.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It's not Norvell's fault that he's the coach anymore. It's
- 6:53Speaker 2: the people that high above him that allow him to
- 6:55Speaker 2: continue to be the coach. We know he's not good.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So I think the same thing about tape. I do think, man,
- 7:00Speaker 2: this Florida state defense is, is such an enigma that
- 7:03Speaker 2: I do wonder how he looks one in this kind
- 7:06Speaker 2: of environment. Cause he's not playing this kind of environment.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Cal is nothing like it. And the rest of their
- 7:10Speaker 2: games have been at home.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Well, I guess he did play a good bit of
- 7:13Speaker 2: that game against LSU, but yeah, he didn't prepare for
- 7:16Speaker 2: like that.
- 7:16Speaker 1: He didn't start the game. So, whatever.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I do think that this will be a different kind
- 7:20Speaker 2: of environment, but it's also a weird environment because if
- 7:22Speaker 2: things aren't going well, they're going to start booing and
- 7:25Speaker 2: not you guys, they're gonna be booing their own fans
- 7:26Speaker 2: or their own team and programming coaches. So this defense
- 7:30Speaker 2: can get got, and if take and kind of get
- 7:32Speaker 2: some things rolling, then I think there'll be in a
- 7:34Speaker 2: better spot offensively.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that our offense versus y'all's defense is
- 7:40Speaker 3: the great equalizer in this game. But I mean, it really,
- 7:43Speaker 3: I mean, think about it. Y'all have struggled stopping teams
- 7:47Speaker 3: when it comes to, I mean, how many points? I mean, Louisville,
- 7:52Speaker 3: they're just still scoring. And then we turn around and
- 7:56Speaker 3: we look at Clemson's offense. You can't throw a touchdown.
- 7:59Speaker 3: You know, two touchdowns the entire season between all their quarterbacks,
- 8:04Speaker 3: one for Tate. And going into this season and the
- 8:08Speaker 3: season before this, everyone was talking about how good our
- 8:11Speaker 3: wide receivers are. How good the tight end room is.
- 8:14Speaker 3: One of them was going to transfer and they talked
- 8:16Speaker 3: him into staying. Guess what? Bala got the ball to him.
- 8:21Speaker 3: He should have transferred. So if you can't get the
- 8:24Speaker 3: ball to the wide receivers, I mean, I don't care
- 8:30Speaker 3: who you have playing wide receiver for you. It's just
- 8:34Speaker 3: not going to work. And so I just think y'all's
- 8:37Speaker 3: defense versus our offense, both sides are struggling. That could
- 8:41Speaker 3: be the talking point of the game. But it would
- 8:44Speaker 3: be very interesting if for some reason we were to
- 8:46Speaker 3: jump ahead and your fan starts booing because all of
- 8:49Speaker 3: a sudden Clemson's going to be like, hold on, this
- 8:51Speaker 3: is like at home when we play at Death Valley now.
- 8:54Speaker 3: What is– they followed us here?
- 8:56Speaker 2: When we went to Louisville earlier this year, we– We
- 9:02Speaker 2: were up 14-0, and then they were driving down inside
- 9:05Speaker 2: their five-yard line.
- 9:06Speaker 1: They were booing.
- 9:07Speaker 2: They were booing because they were frustrated with where things
- 9:09Speaker 2: were right at that moment.
- 9:11Speaker 1: They had lost to NC State, who has now fired
- 9:13Speaker 1: their coach. I tweeted that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I said, man, our players should feel right at home
- 9:19Speaker 2: here in the booth. Not in a road environment. This
- 9:24Speaker 2: feels like normal to them. The Clemson defense is interesting.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Florida State's offense is good. Hey, I'll get right back
- 9:31Speaker 2: to the interview, but first I want to give some
- 9:32Speaker 2: love to our friends over at Alumni Hall. Listen, if
- 9:35Speaker 2: you're gearing up for game day, whether it's online or
- 9:38Speaker 2: in person, you can go to alumnihall.com or your local
- 9:41Speaker 2: store or any of their stores and use our code CFA15.
- 9:45Speaker 2: 15% off of your order you will get. I don't
- 9:48Speaker 2: know why I said that like Yoda, but I did.
- 9:50Speaker 2: The biggest and largest and best selection of game day
- 9:53Speaker 2: apparel that you'll find anywhere is at Alumni Hall. Again,
- 9:56Speaker 2: CFA 15 college football addiction, 15 saves you 15% on
- 10:00Speaker 2: your order. We appreciate alumni hall for their support. Go
- 10:02Speaker 2: check them out. Like I, I hate to give Mike
- 10:05Speaker 2: Norvell a lot of credit, but they went up and
- 10:06Speaker 2: put 35 points on Miami.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They put 36 points on Bama.
- 10:10Speaker 2: They, you know, really had Louisville on their heels before
- 10:14Speaker 2: just kind of, they lost all confidence and turtled a
- 10:17Speaker 2: little bit and tucked into a shell.
- 10:20Speaker 1: But I like this offense.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's one of the better offenses, I think, in the conference.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And the defense doesn't live up to hype. They don't
- 10:26Speaker 2: match it often.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You give up.
- 10:29Speaker 2: You score 36 in Tuscaloosa and they score, what.
- 10:32Speaker 3: 48, 50.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You score 36 in Miami, they score 40, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 2: 35 in Miami, they score 43. So the defense hasn't
- 10:40Speaker 2: been able to stop anybody outside of Virginia. But I
- 10:44Speaker 2: do think that this offense can put up some points.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But again, I think this Clemson defense is playing better
- 10:49Speaker 2: than many of us expected. Miami game, anomaly, but you
- 10:53Speaker 2: shut down Cal, mostly shut down UNC after a quick
- 10:56Speaker 2: start by the Tar Heels. Obviously, Charleston Southern didn't score.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And then even Virginia Tech, man, they scored seven.
- 11:02Speaker 1: At the very end.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But without, you know, up until that last drive, you
- 11:06Speaker 2: held the 13 points. I think the defense has been
- 11:08Speaker 2: playing well. And I'm interested to see if they can
- 11:10Speaker 2: hold Florida State.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Under 28-ish, 24-ish.
- 11:13Speaker 2: 24 is probably my number. If they can hold Florida
- 11:17Speaker 2: State under 24, I think Clemson wins. If they can't,
- 11:19Speaker 2: I don't know that Clemson's offense can do enough to
- 11:22Speaker 2: get the win.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I agree with you. I mean, I look at this
- 11:26Speaker 3: offense for Clemson, and the questions are just there, right? Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 3: For anyone who's kind of driving by this video and
- 11:36Speaker 3: you're thinking about, yeah, Clemson's had some problems with offense
- 11:39Speaker 3: over the past few years. Actually, Clemson's offense has been
- 11:42Speaker 3: having a problem since probably about 2021, realistically. But the
- 11:47Speaker 3: defense was so flipping good that we stayed in games
- 11:53Speaker 3: like you would not believe. And, of course, the offense
- 11:56Speaker 3: was better than what it is now. I mean, it
- 11:58Speaker 3: really doesn't take much. But the defense was so good.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Where things really started falling apart for Clemson over the
- 12:05Speaker 3: past few years is when the defense started to fall backwards.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And it started to match that offensive performance. We see
- 12:13Speaker 3: all the transfer portal players on the defensive side of
- 12:16Speaker 3: the football. We're seeing Tom Allen produce overall. If you
- 12:20Speaker 3: see the defense falter overall, a lot of times it's
- 12:23Speaker 3: because they're tired from being out on the field. Their
- 12:27Speaker 3: offense is giving them, at best, a field goal. And
- 12:30Speaker 3: so this is going to be really interesting going into
- 12:33Speaker 3: Tallahassee because, I mean, how insulting, how insulting is it
- 12:38Speaker 3: that you have a winning record going into Tallahassee thinking, hey,
- 12:44Speaker 3: they have a losing record. They're struggling. I mean, we
- 12:49Speaker 3: should be a favorite or whatever. Right now, Florida State
- 12:53Speaker 3: is favored by almost a touchdown. So truly, it's anyone's game,
- 12:57Speaker 3: but it's just a really bad time for both programs.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Last year, Florida state was a favorite going into this
- 13:04Speaker 2: game and could not win it. I, I just wonder
- 13:07Speaker 2: so much about the mindset of both programs. Florida state
- 13:12Speaker 2: seems to do this Jekyll and Hyde thing where they play.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys quite do this or not,
- 13:17Speaker 2: because it's more so sporadically just been moments like you know,
- 13:20Speaker 2: LSU is more talented.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Miami is more talented. Virginia tech gets you.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I think those programs are kind of even just, they
- 13:27Speaker 2: happen to make a few more plays than Clemson did
- 13:30Speaker 2: and won the game. So I, But Florida State does
- 13:34Speaker 2: this thing where they play great and then awful and
- 13:36Speaker 2: then great and then awful and then great. Like, it
- 13:39Speaker 2: is the wildest thing. And so, whereas Clemson I don't
- 13:42Speaker 2: think is so much highs and lows. Like, I don't
- 13:45Speaker 2: think it's like Jekyll and Hyde every week. You can
- 13:48Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong there. It just kind of
- 13:49Speaker 2: feels like when they play a team that's more talented
- 13:51Speaker 2: than them, they're going to lose. And last week was
- 13:53Speaker 2: a 50-50 game that went the wrong way. The defense
- 13:55Speaker 2: played well. Offense didn't do enough. You lose that kind
- 13:58Speaker 2: of game. So, if Florida State plays well, I think
- 14:02Speaker 2: they win. Like, it's as simple as that to me.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Last year, you guys, and I know Mensah was on
- 14:06Speaker 2: the team, and I know Barkay was on the team,
- 14:08Speaker 2: and I know they won the ACC, but they also
- 14:10Speaker 2: lost to two Group of Five schools. You gave up
- 14:13Speaker 2: 46 points to Duke the week before, and we're coming
- 14:16Speaker 2: in as a favorite, and we score 10 points. Now,
- 14:20Speaker 2: I know home and road is different, but to me,
- 14:23Speaker 2: Clemson's kind of this pretty steady team. I don't think
- 14:26Speaker 2: they've quit. I don't think that, and I know it's
- 14:28Speaker 2: not good enough. I'm not trying to overhype Clemson. But
- 14:31Speaker 2: I don't think they've quit. I don't think they're Jekyll
- 14:33Speaker 2: and Hyde. I just think they're not great. They're an
- 14:36Speaker 2: average to slightly above average team, somewhere in the middle
- 14:40Speaker 2: of the ACC. And they're going to go out and
- 14:44Speaker 2: play their game. Does the good Florida State show up
- 14:47Speaker 2: that takes Miami to double overtime, that pushes Bama for
- 14:49Speaker 2: a half, or does the bad Florida State show up?
- 14:52Speaker 2: The last three quarters of Louisville, the FCS games, the
- 14:56Speaker 2: SMU games. So to me, that's really a lot of
- 14:58Speaker 2: what this comes down to.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I wonder who is mentally coming into this game more
- 15:05Speaker 3: let down, really. I mean, what happened with y'all versus Miami,
- 15:11Speaker 3: the game itself, the ending. Sure, you're coming off of
- 15:16Speaker 3: a bye week, but man, that's awfully heavy to have
- 15:19Speaker 3: to sit with. Clemson, you flip to the other side
- 15:21Speaker 3: of the football. As I said, you've noticed it on
- 15:24Speaker 3: your comment board. You've heard probably some Clemson personalities talk
- 15:28Speaker 3: about this. Hey, Forget the LSU and Miami game. If
- 15:32Speaker 3: you can just win Virginia Tech, because James Franklin's going
- 15:36Speaker 3: to have them ready. Gronkmeyer's good. Luke Reynolds is good. Blah, blah, blah.
- 15:40Speaker 3: But if you can win that game afterwards, you can
- 15:44Speaker 3: win out your conference schedule and probably go to Miami
- 15:49Speaker 3: or go to Charlotte to play Miami. And when that
- 15:53Speaker 3: didn't happen, I'm telling you, I have seen Clemson fans
- 15:56Speaker 3: within my comment board and on other boards, whether it's
- 16:00Speaker 3: on Instagram, what have you. It's like this is the
- 16:04Speaker 3: most dejecting loss for them because they were betting the
- 16:08Speaker 3: house that we would turn the corner. I never bought it.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I never bought it. I was saying in January, we're
- 16:14Speaker 3: losing to Virginia Tech. Sorry. And we did. And I'm
- 16:18Speaker 3: telling you, I have not seen the Clemson fan base
- 16:20Speaker 3: implode like they have. I mean, the 41-point loss to
- 16:26Speaker 3: LSU didn't do it. 28-point loss to Miami didn't do it.
- 16:30Speaker 3: This one did it. It's wild. So I want to
- 16:33Speaker 3: see which team comes out and they're less depressed. I mean, really.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Who's the one that seems like maybe they took their
- 16:40Speaker 3: depression medicine before they walked out and maybe had a
- 16:43Speaker 3: good talking to by someone that got them all inspirational?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Maybe Norvell walked in there with a, with a mug
- 16:49Speaker 3: cup on the side of it. It's written on the
- 16:53Speaker 3: side of it, is coach of the best team in
- 16:54Speaker 3: the world, and.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I love them.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And that gets them all fired up. I don't know.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I know that sounds sarcastic, but really, to me, I
- 17:02Speaker 3: think both teams are probably pretty depressed. Clemson probably is
- 17:07Speaker 3: the most depressed coming into this game. So I look
- 17:09Speaker 3: forward to see how they both approach it because neither
- 17:13Speaker 3: team looks good. They have their moments. They have certain
- 17:16Speaker 3: things they've done well. As I've said, the defense has
- 17:18Speaker 3: done solid. But, dude, Clemson and Florida State in this situation,
- 17:24Speaker 3: it's a lot.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It's depressing.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It's early in the week. I don't know if you
- 17:29Speaker 2: have a score yet this early in the week, but
- 17:34Speaker 2: what's your gut tell you happens on Saturday?
- 17:37Speaker 3: Who wins? I think that both teams run out onto
- 17:41Speaker 3: the field. And they hit each other at the 50
- 17:44Speaker 3: yard line. They both pass out cold.
- 17:46Speaker 1: And they cancel the game. That's the end of it.
- 17:49Speaker 3: That's the, you know, between how disastrous both of these
- 17:53Speaker 3: teams have. I mean, the disaster. I mean, it's just,
- 17:56Speaker 3: I can't believe, I feel like I'm living in an
- 17:58Speaker 3: alternate reality watching both of these teams where they're at. No, no, no, no.
- 18:04Speaker 3: This one's a very confusing one. This is a very
- 18:06Speaker 3: confusing one. I haven't done my prediction yet, but I
- 18:09Speaker 3: will say this. You're at home. You're a favorite for
- 18:13Speaker 3: a reason. And I think Clemson is depressed. I think
- 18:18Speaker 3: they are shell-shocked. And maybe, just maybe, it's an ugly game.
- 18:24Speaker 3: One side of the football plays better against this side
- 18:26Speaker 3: of the football. And it's an ugly game, and someone
- 18:30Speaker 3: just happens to win. I am leaning towards Florida State,
- 18:33Speaker 3: but I'll kind of stop short there.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I think logic would tell you that Florida State
- 18:38Speaker 1: should win this game.
- 18:40Speaker 2: If you just kind of look at where both programs
- 18:43Speaker 2: are where both teams are this year. It would lean
- 18:46Speaker 2: Florida state in my estimation, football has not been logical this,
- 18:52Speaker 2: this season. And so, you know, I, I would have
- 18:55Speaker 2: leaned a lot of different ways if, and I made
- 18:57Speaker 2: a lot of money in Vegas. Had I, had I
- 19:00Speaker 2: gone with logical things, but it hasn't been logical. So
- 19:02Speaker 2: we'll see if it is on Saturday. I do think
- 19:04Speaker 2: Florida state's playing a little bit better right now. I
- 19:06Speaker 2: do have a little more trust in them, but we'll
- 19:08Speaker 2: see what happens. Brian, we appreciate you. We appreciate our
