Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein And His Manipulation Of The Law (8/2/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: This article was written by Nina Burley. Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey
0:05
Speaker 1: Epstein knew a lot of powerful men's secrets, from princes
0:08
Speaker 1: to captains of industry and global political leaders, but he
0:12
Speaker 1: protected his own behind teams of powerful lawyers who battled
0:15
Speaker 1: up until his death last summer to keep the black
0:18
Speaker 1: box of his sordid world sealed shut. Yeah, we've seen it,
0:21
Speaker 1: tooth and nail. We've seen the way they battle to
0:23
Speaker 1: keep this guy's information private even in death. And normally,
0:28
Speaker 1: when someone dies, that's when all the beans are spills, right,
0:31
Speaker 1: all the information about that person becomes available, and the
0:35
Speaker 1: vultures show up to the corpse to get some picking in. Now,
0:38
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein, his secrets are even more protected, it seems,
0:41
Speaker 1: in death. And that leads you to say to yourself,
0:45
Speaker 1: all right, well, why is this guy different? Why is
0:47
Speaker 1: he being so protected? Who is protecting him? And I
0:51
Speaker 1: think we've established who is protecting him throughout our three
0:55
Speaker 1: hundred and seventy episodes here on the podcast and elsewhere.
1:00
Speaker 1: We understand that this is more than just a trafficking ring.
1:03
Speaker 1: We understand that this man was being protected by very, very,
1:06
Speaker 1: very powerful people. But he protected his own behind teams
1:12
Speaker 1: of powerful lawyers who battled up into his death last
1:15
Speaker 1: summer to keep the black box of his sordid world
1:17
Speaker 1: sealed shut. He and his lawyers presume they could mute
1:20
Speaker 1: powerless underage female sex abuse victims, and they succeeded until
1:25
Speaker 1: Florida attorney Bradley J. Edwards got involved in their case
1:28
Speaker 1: in two thousand and eight. And like last night, we
1:31
Speaker 1: talked about how he paid off the gal from last
1:35
Speaker 1: night who ended up dying from a overdose, Leigh Patrick.
1:39
Speaker 1: She died of a heroin overdose after dealing with Epstein
1:43
Speaker 1: and after Epstein paid her fifty thousand dollars for her
1:46
Speaker 1: to keep quiet. So we know that he was slanging
1:49
Speaker 1: around money forever to keep girls quiet. And the question
1:54
Speaker 1: is how many of these girls ended up with the
1:56
Speaker 1: same the same fate as le Lee Patrick. How many
2:00
Speaker 1: of these girls ended up in, you know, a drug
2:04
Speaker 1: induced world of addiction because of the abuse they suffered
2:08
Speaker 1: at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. Edwards
2:18
Speaker 1: got involved in their case in two thousand and eight.
2:21
Speaker 1: Edwards eventually represented twenty of the women in a lawsuit
2:24
Speaker 1: against the government for its two thousand and seven sweetheart
2:26
Speaker 1: deal with Epstein, a deal obtained in spite of overwhelming
2:30
Speaker 1: evidence that Epstein was engaged in a systematic sex abuse
2:33
Speaker 1: and human trafficking ring. Yeah, that's spot onhing. There's nothing
2:38
Speaker 1: to add there. That's exactly what occurred. We know how
2:41
Speaker 1: devious the prosecution was in this case. We know that
2:44
Speaker 1: they missed the boat. We know that they missed the mark.
2:46
Speaker 1: We know that they helped the defense in defaming these gals.
2:51
Speaker 1: We know that. The question is why doesn't the public
2:55
Speaker 1: know that? Yet? Palm Beach, Florida police had evidence from
3:00
Speaker 1: dozens of teenage girls at Epstein preyed upon young poor women,
3:04
Speaker 1: grooming them to participate in sex act with him and
3:07
Speaker 1: other men. But Epstein's fleet of pricy lawyers, including Harvard
3:11
Speaker 1: law professor Alan Dershowitz and former Clinton special prosecutor Kenneth
3:16
Speaker 1: Starr wheedled a negotiated plea. Wheedled a negotiated plea ad
3:20
Speaker 1: of the justice system in which Epstein got less than
3:23
Speaker 1: a year of local jail time and was allowed to
3:25
Speaker 1: work from his Palm Beach mansion during the day. Yeah,
3:29
Speaker 1: because that's normal, right, That's normal behavior. That's what happens
3:32
Speaker 1: to normal people. They get involved in a sex trafficking ring,
3:36
Speaker 1: leadership position, their abusing girls or raping girls, and you know,
3:40
Speaker 1: they only get a thirteen month stay where they don't
3:43
Speaker 1: even have to be in the jail. They have a
3:44
Speaker 1: wing to themselves, the doors open so they have access
3:46
Speaker 1: to the lawyer room whenever they want. That part for
3:49
Speaker 1: the course, for normal people, I mean, are you kidding
3:52
Speaker 1: me right now? How is this even possible? How is
3:54
Speaker 1: this able to occur when it was occurring? Where were
3:57
Speaker 1: all the city council people? Where were all the prosecutor,
4:00
Speaker 1: Where was the mayor, Where was the governor? Where was anybody?
4:02
Speaker 1: For God's sakes, Edward's lawsuit and other pressure on the
4:07
Speaker 1: Department of Justice, including a scathing expos in the Miami Herald,
4:12
Speaker 1: ultimately led to a new investigation and Epstein's arrest as
4:16
Speaker 1: he stepped off his private jet out of New Jersey
4:18
Speaker 1: Airport tarmac last year. And that's another thing that bothers me.
4:23
Speaker 1: When he got arrested. Why wasn't he purp walked? You
4:26
Speaker 1: see all these other people. Look at Harvey Weinstein getting
4:28
Speaker 1: the purp walk, Look at Bill Cosby getting the purp walk.
4:31
Speaker 1: But not Jeffrey Epstein. Why were they still giving him
4:35
Speaker 1: special treatment after he was arrested? Why didn't he get
4:38
Speaker 1: purp walked. Why wasn't CNN waiting for him there? Why
4:41
Speaker 1: wasn't all the major outlets waiting at the airport to
4:43
Speaker 1: see him get arrested, etc. Etc. Ask yourselves, why did
4:49
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein deserve so much special treatment from the government?
4:53
Speaker 1: What could possibly motivate them to protect him in this way.
5:00
Speaker 1: In his new book about the saga, Relentless Pursuit, My
5:03
Speaker 1: Fight for the Victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Edwards, co written
5:07
Speaker 1: with trial lawyer Britney Henderson, shares insights into Epstein's psychology,
5:11
Speaker 1: strategies and vast networks of enablers, from lawyers like Dershowitz
5:16
Speaker 1: to his alleged procure co conspirator Gilaine Maxwell. Maxwell has
5:21
Speaker 1: denied any wrongdoing. Oh, of course she has. We know that.
5:24
Speaker 1: We know that Gilaine is never gonna come out and
5:27
Speaker 1: say that she was involved. She will have to She's
5:29
Speaker 1: gonna have to be compelled to testify. She's gonna have
5:32
Speaker 1: to be compelled to come forward. Because a person like this,
5:35
Speaker 1: forget about it, There's zero chance she's going to incriminate herself.
5:38
Speaker 1: There's zero chance she's going to do anything that might
5:41
Speaker 1: cause her to end up in jail, So she's going
5:44
Speaker 1: to have to be actively searched out and actively prosecuted.
5:50
Speaker 1: Edwards talked to Rolling Stone from his office in Palm
5:53
Speaker 1: Beach about why I believes Epstein killed himself in jail,
5:56
Speaker 1: where Gilainne Maxwell is, whether the investigation continues and will
6:01
Speaker 1: reveal any more famous men's names and rumors that Epstein
6:04
Speaker 1: and Maxwell worked for US or Israeli intelligence. Well, when
6:09
Speaker 1: it comes to the intelligence aspect, you folks all know
6:11
Speaker 1: exactly where I'm at with that. Some people believe it
6:14
Speaker 1: was just a Masad run operation, and okay, that's cool. Fine,
6:18
Speaker 1: if you want to believe that, that's all right. But in
6:20
Speaker 1: my opinion, dealing with intelligence and knowing how this sort
6:25
Speaker 1: of thing works, it's obvious that the CIA was the
6:29
Speaker 1: big brother here. It's obvious that the Masad, their involvement,
6:33
Speaker 1: everything ran through the CIA. There is no way they
6:35
Speaker 1: could have set this up in the United States without
6:38
Speaker 1: the CIA being involved and without the CIA giving them
6:41
Speaker 1: the nod of approval. At the end of the day,
6:44
Speaker 1: the CIA wants to want this information as well. They're
6:47
Speaker 1: information brokers. So if they have dossier's on all of
6:50
Speaker 1: these famous people, which of course they would have access
6:53
Speaker 1: to if they gave the nod to the Massad to
6:56
Speaker 1: run the operation, well then they control these people. And
7:00
Speaker 1: we know that to intelligence agencies, information is the most
7:04
Speaker 1: important currency. So if you understand how the CIA works
7:09
Speaker 1: in an overarching way, and you understand how these operations
7:13
Speaker 1: are put into place, then you see how the big
7:16
Speaker 1: picture starts to unfold, and you see that the Masad,
7:19
Speaker 1: while obviously a very potent intelligence service on their own,
7:25
Speaker 1: really is the little brother of the CIA, just like
7:28
Speaker 1: the five eyes of intelligence around the world. The CIA
7:31
Speaker 1: is the big brother. The CIA is the head hauncho,
7:34
Speaker 1: and the spooks who work for the CIA are the
7:38
Speaker 1: ones who are overseeing stuff like this. If it's happening
7:41
Speaker 1: in America, one hundred percent, without a doubt, there's zero
7:45
Speaker 1: chance something like this was going on under their noses
7:48
Speaker 1: without them knowing. So again there's a lot of people
7:52
Speaker 1: that want to just say that it was the Masad,
7:53
Speaker 1: and I agree that the Massad had their role, of course,
7:57
Speaker 1: because we know Gilene Maxwell's connection to the Massad. We
8:01
Speaker 1: know that her father was heavily connected to Israeli military intelligence,
8:08
Speaker 1: So we know that the Massad angle definitely hunts. That's
8:11
Speaker 1: definitely something that one hundred percent. This has all the
8:15
Speaker 1: hallmarks of a Massad operation. But I think a lot
8:18
Speaker 1: of people are missing the point when it comes to
8:20
Speaker 1: the CIA and how involved the CIA is with the Massad,
8:24
Speaker 1: and especially when it comes to an operation being run
8:27
Speaker 1: on American soil. I think it's naive at best to
8:29
Speaker 1: think the CIA had no involvement. Over the decade of
8:34
Speaker 1: depositions and discussions, you got to know Epstein as well
8:37
Speaker 1: as anyone. Can you describe his personality in a couple
8:40
Speaker 1: of sentences. He was always trying to take advantage of
8:43
Speaker 1: everyone and willing to engage in whatever tactic he tactic
8:47
Speaker 1: could advantage him to manipulate everyone around him in order
8:50
Speaker 1: to maintain power. And yet we know that he was
8:54
Speaker 1: a narcissist. We know that his ego was the size
8:57
Speaker 1: of the earth, and we know that that he used
9:00
Speaker 1: intimidation and other tactics to make sure that he was
9:05
Speaker 1: always in the position of dominance, and he performed all
9:10
Speaker 1: of his duties like that, from financials to procurement and
9:14
Speaker 1: abuse of girls. It was all about power with Jeffrey Epstein,
9:18
Speaker 1: and you see it in cases like this a lot
9:20
Speaker 1: of times. It's all about power and being able to
9:23
Speaker 1: exert that power over the powerless. And that's definitely the
9:27
Speaker 1: kind of person Jeffrey Epstein was, and that sort of
9:31
Speaker 1: disgusting proclivity was harnessed by the people who were just
9:35
Speaker 1: as bad above him that were running this operation. In
9:38
Speaker 1: my opinion, does that make him kind of a sociopath?
9:43
Speaker 1: Is there like a pathology there? Well, I'm not a psychologist,
9:47
Speaker 1: but this one I think is the easiest sociopath to identify.
9:50
Speaker 1: There is nobody who knew him who believes he operated
9:53
Speaker 1: with a conscience at all. He clearly only cared about himself,
9:57
Speaker 1: and he was constantly trying to make everyone believe he
9:59
Speaker 1: cared only about everyone else. He is the definition of
10:02
Speaker 1: a sociopath. Yeah, I've stated this as well. Look, Jeffrey
10:06
Speaker 1: Epstein was all about himself. He had this huge inflated
10:09
Speaker 1: idea about who he was, how smart he was, and
10:12
Speaker 1: his impact on the world, when in reality we all
10:15
Speaker 1: understand that he truly didn't have any impact on the world.
10:18
Speaker 1: He was a guy with a lot of money and
10:20
Speaker 1: political connections, and he was able to be manipulated and
10:26
Speaker 1: used by these intelligence agencies. And it's ironic, right when
10:30
Speaker 1: all was said and done and they were finished with
10:32
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, he was discarded like this, the same way
10:35
Speaker 1: he discarded these girls. So it's it's fitting for him
10:41
Speaker 1: to come to an end the way he did. He
10:45
Speaker 1: dies in jail, and it's ruled a suicide. A lot
10:47
Speaker 1: of people think he didn't kill himself. Why do you
10:50
Speaker 1: believe that he did? Yeah, no doubt. In my mind,
10:53
Speaker 1: his entire being was predicated on being the king and
10:56
Speaker 1: being in power and having control over everyone and everything
11:00
Speaker 1: at all times. Here is a guy who was a
11:02
Speaker 1: sex addict and of a particular type. He only engaged
11:06
Speaker 1: in sex acts with vulnerable people that he could control.
11:09
Speaker 1: The control and power was much more important to him
11:12
Speaker 1: than the sex. One hundred percent. That's definitely spot on.
11:16
Speaker 1: I definitely agree with that. Jeffrey Epstein was all about power,
11:19
Speaker 1: control and exerting that power. Of course, the sex was
11:23
Speaker 1: important to him, because you know it was he got
11:26
Speaker 1: off by it, obviously, but the whole entire lead up
11:29
Speaker 1: to lead up to it, and the whole entire exertion
11:32
Speaker 1: of power over these these survivors. That's what really got
11:36
Speaker 1: him going. That's what really got Jeffrey Epstein off. And
11:41
Speaker 1: whether the vulnerabilities that he was praying on was the
11:46
Speaker 1: young age of the victim, or the financial situation, or
11:49
Speaker 1: even the dancers and models of New York City who
11:52
Speaker 1: had a dream and he could give them promises and
11:54
Speaker 1: then puppeteer the situation and manipulate them. It was being
11:58
Speaker 1: able to control all of these people and using sex
12:01
Speaker 1: to demean them, degrade them, humiliate them, and further control them.
12:07
Speaker 1: Definitely all the aspects of a sex cult, right. Jeffrey
12:10
Speaker 1: Epstein was the guru, and he had a certain blueprint
12:14
Speaker 1: for how he would groom these girls to be involved
12:19
Speaker 1: in his trafficking operation. And it would move on from
12:23
Speaker 1: the procurement stage to the grooming stage, and then to
12:26
Speaker 1: the conversion stage. And Jeffrey Epstein had it down to
12:30
Speaker 1: a t. And like Bradley Edwards is saying here, it
12:32
Speaker 1: was all about power. It was all about power to him.
12:37
Speaker 1: In addition, he had all of these employees that he
12:39
Speaker 1: controlled with his money and he basically wrote them into
12:42
Speaker 1: his cult of recruiting other vulnerable people. For him to
12:46
Speaker 1: manipulate through sex. Lastly, he doesn't care about any of
12:50
Speaker 1: these people, but he has these powerful people that are
12:52
Speaker 1: either well known scientists, other world leaders, businessmen, people that
12:57
Speaker 1: are respected in society, the world's most expected people, and
13:01
Speaker 1: through his money and his other connections, he's able to
13:04
Speaker 1: control those people too. Well. I'd like to add to that.
13:07
Speaker 1: I believe the blackmail operation played a huge part in
13:11
Speaker 1: that as well. When you have dossier's on people and
13:14
Speaker 1: you have information that they were having sexual relations with
13:17
Speaker 1: underage girls, boy, that is the kind of thing that
13:20
Speaker 1: really destroys somebody. People can live through an affair, right, Oh,
13:24
Speaker 1: you had an affair on your wife. He stepped out
13:25
Speaker 1: on your wife. Kind of a scummy move, buddy, But
13:28
Speaker 1: all right, comes to this something like this, there's no
13:31
Speaker 1: coming back from this. So the ultimate form of control
13:35
Speaker 1: is information, and Jeffrey Epstein had that in spades. When
13:40
Speaker 1: he gets arrested, his entire life is taken from him.
13:43
Speaker 1: He's no longer sitting on a jet living the life
13:45
Speaker 1: of a billionaire that is engaging in these sex acts
13:48
Speaker 1: three or four times a day. In fact, he goes
13:51
Speaker 1: from that over indulgence of sex to no sex. Once
13:55
Speaker 1: his bond is denied, his employees no longer fear him.
13:58
Speaker 1: He can't control them any weren't. All of his powerful
14:02
Speaker 1: associates and associations begin turning on him, whether it's Less
14:05
Speaker 1: Wexner or President Trump or Bill Clinton. Everybody starts distancing
14:10
Speaker 1: themselves and saying how terrible a guy he was. That
14:13
Speaker 1: part of his world caved into That's for sure. I've
14:17
Speaker 1: said this from the beginning. After the second arrest, he
14:20
Speaker 1: was discarded as trash by his people. All the powerful
14:23
Speaker 1: people that protected him, the people that were running him
14:27
Speaker 1: as an asset less Wexner, all of them abandoned him
14:32
Speaker 1: and left Jeffrey Epstein left hold in the bag. Right,
14:36
Speaker 1: You're no longer getting this protection. And Epstein went from
14:39
Speaker 1: having the ultimate amount of political protection to having nothing.
14:45
Speaker 1: He went from somebody who had absolute control over literally
14:48
Speaker 1: everybody and everything at all times to having no control whatsoever.
14:52
Speaker 1: And that was not a life that he was ever
14:55
Speaker 1: going to live. The only thing he had left to
14:57
Speaker 1: control was himself. He was not going to be one
15:00
Speaker 1: on the other end of being controlled and powerless, So
15:04
Speaker 1: he took his own life. Well, look, that's definitely a
15:06
Speaker 1: plausible outline right there, right. Unfortunately, I can't believe that
15:12
Speaker 1: he killed himself until I see the evidence at this point,
15:16
Speaker 1: because all the coincidence that led up to his suicide,
15:19
Speaker 1: it's just they're just way too many coincidences for me
15:21
Speaker 1: to believe. Now. Again, like I've said, if I see
15:24
Speaker 1: the evidence that points to him killing himself, I'm more
15:27
Speaker 1: than while willing to accept that. Right. Whatever the facts
15:30
Speaker 1: are in the case, I'm willing to accept. But there's
15:34
Speaker 1: just way too many coincidences right now for me to
15:36
Speaker 1: accept that. I actually need to see the same video
15:39
Speaker 1: that Bar saw, that bar scene that he said showed
15:42
Speaker 1: him that Epstein did not take that Epstein did take
15:45
Speaker 1: his own life. And until I see that footage, it's
15:48
Speaker 1: going to take a whole hell of a lot of
15:49
Speaker 1: evidence to prove to me that Jeffrey Epstein did in
15:53
Speaker 1: fact kill himself. You said, once bond was denied, employ
16:00
Speaker 1: he's no longer feared him. Did you know him to
16:02
Speaker 1: be violent or what was the fear factor? Jeffrey Epstein
16:06
Speaker 1: would weave into all of his conversations with me an
16:09
Speaker 1: element of fear. He would tell me, you know, Brad,
16:12
Speaker 1: you should stop prosecuting me. Or else, somebody is going
16:14
Speaker 1: to get hurt. He would do it in a way
16:16
Speaker 1: that wasn't overtly intimidating. But there were only two people
16:19
Speaker 1: in the room. He was saying, I was going to
16:21
Speaker 1: get hurt. Yeah. Epstein and his people they worked in
16:25
Speaker 1: the world of threats, right, They were willing to make
16:28
Speaker 1: these these kinds of threats and then they would follow
16:31
Speaker 1: through on them. They had access to a lot of
16:33
Speaker 1: powerful people, a lot of people in the world of intelligence,
16:36
Speaker 1: a lot of people that could really cause you a
16:39
Speaker 1: lot of grief. And Epstein was not scared to flaunt
16:42
Speaker 1: that power, and he was not scared to intimidate that
16:45
Speaker 1: to intimidate people with his connections. Through talking with many
16:50
Speaker 1: of my clients, many of them, he would make clear
16:53
Speaker 1: how powerful he was, that he had friends in high places,
16:56
Speaker 1: and would often weave in how some of his powerful
16:58
Speaker 1: friends had done bad things to people, how he can
17:01
Speaker 1: make people lose their jobs, lose their careers, and cause
17:04
Speaker 1: anyone who crossed him to suffer consequences. That was part
17:08
Speaker 1: of his natural way of dealing with everyone. There wasn't
17:11
Speaker 1: a single person that was ever around him that I
17:13
Speaker 1: have ever encountered who didn't leave the interaction in extraordinary fear, thinking,
17:18
Speaker 1: this is the last person on the universe that I
17:20
Speaker 1: want to cross, and it's crazy for me to think
17:23
Speaker 1: about that. I look at Jeffrey Epstein and I see
17:25
Speaker 1: this big dork, right, this big nerdy ass dork, and
17:29
Speaker 1: it's so foreign for me to think that people could
17:32
Speaker 1: be intimidated by him. But then you start to think
17:35
Speaker 1: about the people he rolls with, the people he's involved with,
17:38
Speaker 1: the money he has the access to ex intelligence agents
17:42
Speaker 1: or current intelligence agents even and the picture becomes more grim. Right,
17:46
Speaker 1: you start to understand that you're not just dealing with
17:49
Speaker 1: Epstein or his trafficking ring, but you're dealing with his
17:53
Speaker 1: gigantic bankroll and the serious people that he can hire
17:59
Speaker 1: with that money. And would that include the very powerful people?
18:04
Speaker 1: Didn't he collect videotape of powerful men in compromised positions? Well,
18:10
Speaker 1: I think that's always the suspicion, right, I don't know
18:13
Speaker 1: that there's ever been confirmation that he's kept any video
18:16
Speaker 1: of any powerful people doing any improper things in his home.
18:19
Speaker 1: I never came across any videotapes, for instance, of that happening.
18:23
Speaker 1: I think that he would allude to it sometimes too.
18:25
Speaker 1: But whether that was true or whether he was creating
18:28
Speaker 1: that illusion to kind of bolster his prominence, I really
18:31
Speaker 1: don't know. I think that you know, Brett Brat Edwards
18:34
Speaker 1: isn't shooting from the hip, folks. He's being very very
18:38
Speaker 1: straightforward here. He isn't using any kind of speculation. He's
18:42
Speaker 1: only talking about what he knows. And I think it's
18:45
Speaker 1: important when it goes to establish his credibility that he's
18:48
Speaker 1: not firing off all kinds of crazy, weird conspiracy theories
18:52
Speaker 1: or anything like that. He's sticking right to the facts
18:54
Speaker 1: and what he knows. I think that it's very very
19:00
Speaker 1: fair to say all the powerful people knew that he
19:02
Speaker 1: was well connected and was not beneath using whatever information
19:05
Speaker 1: he had to embarrass others or compromise them or put
19:08
Speaker 1: them into a compromise situation. And you see he right here,
19:13
Speaker 1: Bradley Edwards says straight up that Epstein wasn't above these moves.
19:18
Speaker 1: But again, Epstein was shrewd. He was very very capable
19:22
Speaker 1: of hiding what he was up to. And we have
19:24
Speaker 1: to always remember, folks, it's not what we know, it's
19:27
Speaker 1: what we can prove. We can speculate about what we know,
19:30
Speaker 1: and we can talk about it, and we can try
19:33
Speaker 1: and find the evidence for it, but until we can
19:36
Speaker 1: prove it in a court of law, we have to
19:38
Speaker 1: keep grinding. I think that it's very fair to say
19:45
Speaker 1: all of the powerful people knew that he was well
19:47
Speaker 1: connected and was not beneath using whatever information he had
19:50
Speaker 1: to embarrass others or compromise them, or put them into
19:53
Speaker 1: a compromise situation. Where is Gilenn Maxwell, to the best
19:57
Speaker 1: of your knowledge, and what is she up to? I
20:00
Speaker 1: don't know where Gaylaine is, but I know that she
20:01
Speaker 1: recently filed that lawsuit against the estate of Jeffrey Epstein
20:05
Speaker 1: in the Virgin Islands, asking for the estate to pay
20:07
Speaker 1: her attorney fees in part so that she could remain
20:10
Speaker 1: in hiding. I think, by her own admission, she's hiding.
20:13
Speaker 1: Where she's hiding, I don't know. Yeah, I don't really
20:15
Speaker 1: have much to add to that either. I have no
20:17
Speaker 1: inside information on Elaine Maxwell. I don't know where she's hiding,
20:20
Speaker 1: right I wish I did. I'd call the FBI, that's
20:23
Speaker 1: for sure. I wouldn't be talking about you know, Oh,
20:25
Speaker 1: I have inside information about g Laane. Follow me and
20:29
Speaker 1: I'll tell you about it, and I no, No. The
20:31
Speaker 1: second I get information, I disseminate it right away. The
20:34
Speaker 1: second I get it, after I vet it, make sure
20:36
Speaker 1: it's legit, we talk about it on the podcast, and
20:39
Speaker 1: I believe that that's important. I believe that's important if
20:41
Speaker 1: you're being if you're credible, and you wanna, you know,
20:45
Speaker 1: if you want to set the tone right as somebody
20:47
Speaker 1: who's reporting the case. This case is it's not about me.
20:50
Speaker 1: It's not about enriching myself. It's not about money. Believe me.
20:54
Speaker 1: If it was about money, I certainly wouldn't be here
20:57
Speaker 1: with you guys every single day like this, especially with
20:59
Speaker 1: the way AD revenue is collapsing right now. But that's
21:03
Speaker 1: never been my motivation here. My motivation has always been
21:06
Speaker 1: from the standpoint of an investigative journalist and a concerned citizen,
21:12
Speaker 1: somebody who has just had enough of all the deception,
21:15
Speaker 1: all the bs going on at the very high levels
21:17
Speaker 1: of government. And then you see something like this come
21:20
Speaker 1: across your desk, You see this sort of case pop up,
21:22
Speaker 1: and boy, oh boy, let me tell you what did
21:25
Speaker 1: it fire me up? Did it motivate me? And as
21:28
Speaker 1: the case is unfolded, I've just been more motivated each
21:31
Speaker 1: and every single day. You know this is I've been
21:34
Speaker 1: here now one hundred and seventy seven straight days. Folks
21:37
Speaker 1: reporting on this case every single day haven't missed one,
21:41
Speaker 1: And I believe that's important because as we follow the case,
21:45
Speaker 1: there's so many twists and turns that unless you're reporting
21:48
Speaker 1: on it and in long form information like a podcast
21:51
Speaker 1: or a YouTube video, it's very hard to follow this case.
21:57
Speaker 1: Do you believe there is an active FBI investigation into
21:59
Speaker 1: math I believe that it's still an active, ongoing investigation.
22:04
Speaker 1: The prosecutors in New York have done an exemplary job,
22:07
Speaker 1: but are really hamstrung by the way the government treated
22:09
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein the first time. I want to believe that, right.
22:13
Speaker 1: I want to believe that the prosecution is really going
22:17
Speaker 1: hard in the paint. And you have to think as
22:20
Speaker 1: the defense, as the lawyer for the gals, that you're
22:25
Speaker 1: not gonna want to poke the prosecution, right. You want
22:28
Speaker 1: to make sure that you're not speaking out of the pocket.
22:31
Speaker 1: So it's smart for Bradley Edwards to take this approach here.
22:35
Speaker 1: I don't disagree with him for taking this approach at all,
22:38
Speaker 1: but as somebody on the outside looking in. I can
22:41
Speaker 1: tell you that I don't believe the prosecution is doing enough.
22:44
Speaker 1: I believe that they're dragging their feet, and I'd love
22:46
Speaker 1: to see some more action out of them. What do
22:50
Speaker 1: you make of the rumors that Maxwell and Epstein work
22:52
Speaker 1: for some intelligence agency. I did encounter at least one
22:56
Speaker 1: witness that gave me very believable, credible information that was startling,
23:01
Speaker 1: that gave me the clear impression that Jeffrey Epstein at
23:03
Speaker 1: least had direct contacts through intelligence agencies, and that struck
23:07
Speaker 1: me as true. Wow, there you go, Bradley Edwards telling
23:11
Speaker 1: you right there. Look again. It's one thing when journalists
23:14
Speaker 1: tell you. It's another thing when Bradley Edwards himself comes
23:18
Speaker 1: out and says he believes that that dog hunts, that
23:20
Speaker 1: he believes there's something there. And you know how I
23:23
Speaker 1: feel about the intelligence angle in this case, one hundred percent,
23:27
Speaker 1: one hundred percent. They're the only people powerful enough to
23:30
Speaker 1: protect Epstein the way they had. They're the only people
23:33
Speaker 1: powerful enough to get them that kind of sweetheart deal
23:35
Speaker 1: in this country. Who else do you think wields that
23:37
Speaker 1: kind of power? Man, Only the CIA, the NSA, the NIA,
23:43
Speaker 1: places like that. No other organizations have this kind of power, folks.
23:53
Speaker 1: I didn't think that the witness had any motivation to
23:56
Speaker 1: make that up. And I've had conversations with Epstein about
23:58
Speaker 1: the fact that at some point point in time he
24:00
Speaker 1: was working with the government, with the US government to
24:03
Speaker 1: recover money that the government had been defrauded, and that
24:06
Speaker 1: he was like a financial bounty hunter. That's something that
24:09
Speaker 1: he told me personally. So you see it all come together, right,
24:12
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the CIA, you already had connections. Enter Glaane Maxwell,
24:18
Speaker 1: that's the masade angle. Put them both together, and boy,
24:21
Speaker 1: oh boy, do you have yourselves a honeytrap? Do you
24:23
Speaker 1: have yourselves quite the intricate blackmail operation. When you look
24:30
Speaker 1: at the allegations that Gilaine's father, Robert Maxwell, was associated
24:34
Speaker 1: with intelligence agencies, and it's right after his death that
24:37
Speaker 1: Gelaane meets Jeffrey Epstein, it would seem irresponsible to ignore
24:41
Speaker 1: all of those signs that seemed to point to one
24:44
Speaker 1: or both of them having contacts with intelligence agencies, whether
24:48
Speaker 1: they're associated or not, one hundred percent just got to
24:52
Speaker 1: follow the evidence, right, follow the breadcrumbs. And again, it's
24:56
Speaker 1: not about what we know, but what we can prove,
24:58
Speaker 1: So we have to just keep it, keep pounding this
25:01
Speaker 1: point away, keep searching for evidence, and eventually something's gonna pop.
25:07
Speaker 1: Which countries intelligence agencies It only looks to me like
25:10
Speaker 1: the United States and Israel one hundred percent. Again, folks,
25:14
Speaker 1: this is what I've been telling you from the very beginning,
25:16
Speaker 1: before I had access to any of this. And for me,
25:19
Speaker 1: it was obvious that there was a Masad angle because
25:22
Speaker 1: of the way the operation was being run. And for
25:25
Speaker 1: those of you who know me personally, or for those
25:27
Speaker 1: of you who have been listening for a while, you
25:29
Speaker 1: know that my main appetite is Neary's policy the Middle East.
25:34
Speaker 1: So I'm very familiar with the way the Masade operates,
25:37
Speaker 1: I'm very familiar with the way they conduct themselves, and
25:40
Speaker 1: I'm very familiar with the sort of operations they run.
25:44
Speaker 1: But I knew that they were never gonna be able
25:46
Speaker 1: to run that sort of operation on American soil where
25:50
Speaker 1: they were working as a tag team. Right, the Masad
25:52
Speaker 1: and the CIA, they always work hand in hand, so
25:55
Speaker 1: it would be it would be negligent to believe that
25:59
Speaker 1: they weren't working hand in hand when it came to this.
26:03
Speaker 1: Do you think Maxwell and Epstein were running some kind
26:06
Speaker 1: of blackmail factory. Jeffrey Epstein had to be an absolute
26:09
Speaker 1: control of everything, so he had to know what everybody
26:12
Speaker 1: around him is doing at all times. So did he
26:15
Speaker 1: surveil all of the main females in his life? Absolutely?
26:18
Speaker 1: Did he have their passwords to get into their emails?
26:21
Speaker 1: I would have no doubt whatsoever. Did he have surveillance
26:24
Speaker 1: cameras set up at every aspect of his property that
26:26
Speaker 1: he also monitored when he needed to. Absolutely everything he
26:30
Speaker 1: could do so that he could know what all of
26:32
Speaker 1: the people around him were doing at all times, he
26:35
Speaker 1: did that. He really did micro manage this big chessboard
26:38
Speaker 1: of people, and it was only so he could use
26:41
Speaker 1: anything that he could learn against them to further cause
26:44
Speaker 1: them to feel indebted to him and manipulate them for
26:47
Speaker 1: his own selfish purpose. Everything that he did revolved around control. Wow,
26:53
Speaker 1: bang bing boom right out of the park with that one.
26:56
Speaker 1: It's all about control with these people, All of these
26:59
Speaker 1: people about his control power and enriching themselves. Not in
27:04
Speaker 1: that specific order either, but those are the things that
27:07
Speaker 1: they care about. And Jeffrey Epstein was no different. The
27:12
Speaker 1: FBI seesed a lot of evidence from Epstein's safe in Manhattan,
27:15
Speaker 1: including fake passports and diamonds. What other materials were taken
27:19
Speaker 1: from his properties and will we ever see it? In
27:22
Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, Jeffrey Epstein was first caught, and
27:24
Speaker 1: I think that he destroyed a lot of the tapes
27:26
Speaker 1: and other evidence. Then from twenty ten through the time
27:31
Speaker 1: he was arrested in twenty nineteen, he started accumulating other
27:34
Speaker 1: naked photographs of females that he had taken, either by
27:37
Speaker 1: himself or by g Lane, and he kept those as trophies.
27:41
Speaker 1: That's important. Remember I talked about serial killers and how
27:43
Speaker 1: they kept trophies and how it was very similar to Epstein.
27:46
Speaker 1: Right here, Bradley Edwards says it as well. And I
27:51
Speaker 1: knew for a fact that he shared a lot of
27:53
Speaker 1: traits with serial killers, because you know, it's another thing
27:57
Speaker 1: that I like to research, right I definitely I find
28:00
Speaker 1: it intriguing to read about that sort of thing. I
28:03
Speaker 1: think it's fascinating to read cases of house hero called
28:07
Speaker 1: killers were caught and their psychology, etc. Et cetera. And
28:10
Speaker 1: Epstein shared a lot of similarities with them. I think
28:17
Speaker 1: there are surveillance videos that were also kept as trophies,
28:20
Speaker 1: and that a lot of that, if not all of it,
28:22
Speaker 1: was confiscated in the raid of his New York mansion.
28:25
Speaker 1: I think that the FBI has all of his trophies
28:27
Speaker 1: of young females that he accumulated after the two thousand
28:31
Speaker 1: and nine twenty ten period. So they have all of
28:34
Speaker 1: this evidence and no arrests. Huh. Interesting. In a defamation
28:40
Speaker 1: case filed by one of the survivors, Virginia Roberts, against
28:44
Speaker 1: Elane Maxwell for calling her a liar, the court publicly
28:47
Speaker 1: released hundreds of pages of documents the day before Epstein
28:50
Speaker 1: died with new allegations involving Energy Secretary Bill Richardson and
28:55
Speaker 1: Senator George Mitchell, for example. Many other famous men are
28:58
Speaker 1: believed to be battling in right now to keep the
29:01
Speaker 1: rest of those documents redacted or sealed. How many more
29:05
Speaker 1: big names are in the Epstein case and still held confidentially.
29:09
Speaker 1: I do think that there is a need for everyone
29:11
Speaker 1: to be careful with this, because just because somebody's name
29:14
Speaker 1: is mentioned doesn't mean they did anything wrong. I've said
29:17
Speaker 1: that a lot of times here as well. We have
29:19
Speaker 1: to be very careful, right, We have to be very
29:21
Speaker 1: careful who we put on blast. We have to be
29:23
Speaker 1: very careful how we classify these people. Now, I'll never
29:28
Speaker 1: shy away from calling somebody an enabler. People that were
29:30
Speaker 1: around Epstein, people that knew him, people that really knew him,
29:34
Speaker 1: that were hanging out with him, that turned the other cheek,
29:36
Speaker 1: those are enablers, and I'll call him that right away.
29:39
Speaker 1: But you have to be very careful about who you
29:41
Speaker 1: put involved in the ring. And that's why I stick
29:44
Speaker 1: to the people that Virginia Roberts has mentioned until we
29:48
Speaker 1: have evidence pointing somewhere else. I'm not going to deviate
29:51
Speaker 1: from the facts in this case. I'm not going to obfuscate.
29:53
Speaker 1: I'm not going to put out disinformation. And I see
29:57
Speaker 1: that that Bradley Edwards takes that same route, and that
30:00
Speaker 1: gives me gives me a little bit more faith in
30:03
Speaker 1: the process. I've chosen here because I want to make
30:06
Speaker 1: sure that this podcast is as factual and as truthful
30:10
Speaker 1: as possible, because it's the most important part, right that
30:13
Speaker 1: we're going off of right information, real information, and real evidence.
30:18
Speaker 1: This isn't a fishing expedition. It doesn't need to be.
30:21
Speaker 1: There is plenty of real life evidence here in this
30:25
Speaker 1: case to follow. But because of the public belief in
30:30
Speaker 1: the terms of who Jeffrey Epstein is, there is the
30:32
Speaker 1: natural inclination to assume somebody is guilty by just mere association.
30:37
Speaker 1: Having been the lawyer in the case, I understand both sides.
30:41
Speaker 1: I think it would be best if everything was released
30:43
Speaker 1: and people could see it for what it is. I
30:45
Speaker 1: really don't know how many other names or how many
30:47
Speaker 1: other documents are going to come out, but I think
30:50
Speaker 1: the balancing test is tough, and I agree with that.
30:53
Speaker 1: Right just because you're named in the files doesn't mean
30:57
Speaker 1: you were involved. You might be a witness, you might
30:58
Speaker 1: be a material witness, etc. That's why it's important for
31:02
Speaker 1: these documents to come out, so it ends all of
31:04
Speaker 1: the guest work, so people can really look at the
31:06
Speaker 1: documents and say, all right, this person, this person, this
31:09
Speaker 1: person directly implicated, these people enablers, and these other people
31:13
Speaker 1: material witnesses, or however it might unfold, But it's important
31:18
Speaker 1: to get those documents out so it's no longer speculation
31:21
Speaker 1: and then it becomes a matter of record. Do you
31:25
Speaker 1: think the survivors got justice? The day that he was
31:28
Speaker 1: arrested was a day after a decade long, constant, grueling battle,
31:31
Speaker 1: and they felt some sense of justice at that time,
31:34
Speaker 1: there was some closure Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein's last robbery
31:39
Speaker 1: of his survivors was to take his own life, so
31:42
Speaker 1: that all they had achieved by finally getting him in
31:45
Speaker 1: custody was once again stolen from them. Look, whether he
31:49
Speaker 1: killed himself or he was murdered, whatever it may be,
31:53
Speaker 1: the fact is he's not wrong about what he's saying here.
31:57
Speaker 1: Justice was snatched from these survivors once again by him dying.
32:03
Speaker 1: Having watched this whole thing play out, How can the
32:06
Speaker 1: public be share of prosecutors don't do these sweetheart deals
32:09
Speaker 1: for rich predators in the future. Through our case, we
32:12
Speaker 1: shed light on the illegal deal that was created for
32:14
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, which will make it nearly impossible for them
32:18
Speaker 1: to replicate. And we've increased the rights of victims under
32:21
Speaker 1: a Crime Victim Rights Act through the case, which will
32:24
Speaker 1: make it much more difficult for this to be replicated.
32:27
Speaker 1: So if we've accomplished anything, it is shedding light on
32:30
Speaker 1: this unbelievable injustice that happened so that it's not replicated
32:34
Speaker 1: again for sure. And that's why it's important that there
32:38
Speaker 1: is independent content creators that are coming out reporting on
32:42
Speaker 1: this case because going forward, we can never let this
32:44
Speaker 1: happen again. We can never ever ever let this happen again.
32:48
Speaker 1: I know that I'm going to be much more aware
32:51
Speaker 1: going forward after this case about this sort of thing
32:54
Speaker 1: happening at the very top of society, because it's been
32:57
Speaker 1: proven that these people in general are sick and they
33:00
Speaker 1: don't care about the rest of us. Just look at
33:02
Speaker 1: the way they conduct themselves with their endless wars, running
33:05
Speaker 1: away to their mansions and their compounds while people are dying.
33:08
Speaker 1: You know, one person dying every four minutes in New
33:11
Speaker 1: York right now, whatever it may be. So you know,
33:14
Speaker 1: these people don't care about us. They don't give a
33:16
Speaker 1: damn about us. So we have to make sure that
33:20
Speaker 1: we're very aware of the people we elect. We have
33:23
Speaker 1: to make sure we're very aware of what they're doing
33:27
Speaker 1: once they're in office. And we have to be even
33:29
Speaker 1: more aware of the unelected bureaucrats that infest these intelligence communities,
33:35
Speaker 1: these intelligence agencies, because these people are really the problem
33:39
Speaker 1: in my opinion, These are the people that are behind
33:42
Speaker 1: the shadows. They have no names, and they're involved with
33:45
Speaker 1: people like Jeffrey Epstein all around the world. Well, I'm
33:48
Speaker 1: here to tell you enough is enough. Like JFK said,
33:51
Speaker 1: the CIA should be scattered to the four wins. What's up, everyone,
33:55
Speaker 1: and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In the wake
33:59
Speaker 1: of the grend jury documents being made available, there's been
34:02
Speaker 1: renewed hope that perhaps some justice is going to be
34:06
Speaker 1: coming as well. Unfortunately, I have my doubts. Considering how
34:11
Speaker 1: long justice has been avoided here, considering how long justice
34:16
Speaker 1: has been willfully ignored, I highly doubt that the grand
34:20
Speaker 1: jury documents are going to change anything. Let's be real, Okay,
34:24
Speaker 1: everybody knew that those grand jury documents were gonna be gross.
34:28
Speaker 1: Everybody knew what they were up to. Those grand jury documents.
34:31
Speaker 1: For those of us who have been following along, they're
34:35
Speaker 1: just receipts, right, So it just proves everything that we've
34:38
Speaker 1: been talking about. And to me anyway, there was no
34:41
Speaker 1: doubt that what happened in that grand jury room was
34:44
Speaker 1: straight garbage. But the sad truth is nobody's going to
34:47
Speaker 1: be held accountable. What Barry Krisher is going to lose
34:50
Speaker 1: his pension, Bellohovlik's gonna lose hers None of that's gonna happen.
34:54
Speaker 1: Just like what the OIG reports and the rest of it.
34:56
Speaker 1: They're doing this just to placate you. That's it. There's
35:01
Speaker 1: no justice coming. There's nobody else going to jail or prison.
35:05
Speaker 1: I mean, hell, they can't even hold their faves accountable,
35:07
Speaker 1: never mind send their faves to prison. So instead of justice,
35:11
Speaker 1: the hustle just continues. Today we have an article from
35:14
Speaker 1: ABC News and the headline, five years after Jeffrey Epstein's arrest,
35:18
Speaker 1: a push for accountability continues. This article was authored by
35:23
Speaker 1: James Hill. In the five years since sex offender Jeffrey
35:27
Speaker 1: Epstein first walked into a twenty third floor courtroom in Manhattan,
35:31
Speaker 1: shackled and dressed in navy blue prison guarb, his victims
35:34
Speaker 1: have hastened the public downfalls of a British prince and
35:37
Speaker 1: other prominent men, provided key testimony that led to the
35:40
Speaker 1: imprisonment of two alleged accomplices, and reached out of court
35:44
Speaker 1: settlements totaling more than half a billion dollars, and still
35:48
Speaker 1: all of his buddies running free, nobody being held to account.
35:52
Speaker 1: In fact, you have people like Stacy Plaskett out here
35:54
Speaker 1: talking all kinds of nonsense about the survivors and the lawsuit,
35:58
Speaker 1: and nobody has anything to say about her, because from
36:01
Speaker 1: my seat over here in the peanut gallery, it sure
36:03
Speaker 1: seems like Stacy Plaskett has some questions that need answering.
36:07
Speaker 1: Yet many of the survivors of Epstein's decade long sex
36:10
Speaker 1: trafficking scheme are pressing on. They continue to push forward
36:14
Speaker 1: in quest for justice, transparency, and accountability from institutions and
36:18
Speaker 1: individuals who allegedly aided, enabled, and turned a blind eye
36:22
Speaker 1: to the late financier pedophiles criminal behavior. And they should,
36:27
Speaker 1: But the truth is they're going to continue to run
36:29
Speaker 1: into roadblocks, and that's because not enough people care about
36:32
Speaker 1: what really happened. And unless it serves you politically, well,
36:35
Speaker 1: you have nothing to say about it if you're in
36:37
Speaker 1: the legacy media. Right, they've had all this information as
36:40
Speaker 1: long as we have, but yet they chose to gaslight
36:43
Speaker 1: you and act like all this stuff wasn't real, act
36:45
Speaker 1: like it's a big conspiracy theory. Meanwhile, literally thousands of
36:50
Speaker 1: women and girls have been abused by these pieces of garbage,
36:53
Speaker 1: and the only person sitting in a jail cell's Glenn Maxwell.
36:57
Speaker 1: How is it that Sarah kell and Vickers isn't in
36:59
Speaker 1: a jails now. Look, you can't go or down in Florida, right,
37:03
Speaker 1: protected by that NPA. But what about elsewhere? You mean
37:06
Speaker 1: to tell me that Sarah Kellen Vickers wasn't into it
37:09
Speaker 1: up to her eyeballs elsewhere. That's a bunch of bs.
37:13
Speaker 1: We know that she was getting down in New Mexico too,
37:16
Speaker 1: But the problem with New Mexico, as we all know,
37:19
Speaker 1: is there was no state investigation. They punted it to
37:21
Speaker 1: the Feds so that the FEDS would have control. Oh
37:24
Speaker 1: I wonder why is it all making sense yet? Does
37:27
Speaker 1: it click yet? Folks? You've been had once again? And
37:31
Speaker 1: it's wild to me that as many times as the
37:33
Speaker 1: legacy media has straight up lied to you, people still
37:38
Speaker 1: take what they have to say as if it's gospel. Now. Look,
37:42
Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything that the
37:44
Speaker 1: legacy media talks about is a bunch of bs. But
37:47
Speaker 1: what I am saying is, after all these years of
37:50
Speaker 1: being duped, shouldn't you trust but verify? Shouldn't you like
37:53
Speaker 1: look deeper into subjects before just taking it for what
37:57
Speaker 1: the author says it is, considering all the bullshit we've
38:00
Speaker 1: seen considering all these liars in the legacy media, because
38:04
Speaker 1: the truth is, they all knew about this for a
38:06
Speaker 1: very long time and they chose not to say anything.
38:10
Speaker 1: In the first half of twenty twenty four alone, lawsuits
38:13
Speaker 1: on behalf of Epstein's victims have been filed against the
38:16
Speaker 1: Federal Bureau of Investigation, current and former government officials in
38:20
Speaker 1: the US Virgin Islands. Epstein's former lawyer, his longtime accountant,
38:25
Speaker 1: and a renowned psychiatrist accused of involvement in the sex
38:28
Speaker 1: trafficking operation. I think that their story is not over,
38:32
Speaker 1: said Sigared McCauley, a lawyer who was spent over a
38:35
Speaker 1: decade advocating for Epstein's victims. There were so many people involved,
38:40
Speaker 1: and it's remarkable that there was so much facilitation of
38:43
Speaker 1: this trafficking operation by many individuals. What's really crazy is
38:47
Speaker 1: that nobody else has faced any kind of justice. And
38:50
Speaker 1: it's not like we're shooting from the hip here. There's
38:52
Speaker 1: literally mountains of evidence. We've had. How many judges now
38:55
Speaker 1: say've that Sarah Kelln Vickers was criminally responsible in part
38:59
Speaker 1: of this, but no prosecution. Huh. Let me be very
39:02
Speaker 1: very clear, Okay, if it was you, you'd be prosecuted, you'd
39:05
Speaker 1: be underneath a prison by now. So why isn't Sarah
39:08
Speaker 1: Kelln Vickers All of those accused in the recent litigation,
39:12
Speaker 1: including the USVII officials, the lawyer, the accountant, and the psychiatrist,
39:17
Speaker 1: have denied the allegations against them. And why isn't this
39:20
Speaker 1: a bigger story? You would think that down in the
39:22
Speaker 1: US Virgin Islands, the fact that the government is under
39:25
Speaker 1: the microscope for facilitating Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise would
39:30
Speaker 1: be a bigger story. But then again we have to
39:32
Speaker 1: circle back and well what do we run into. That's right, roadblocks,
39:38
Speaker 1: obfuscation and all sorts of cover be and run for
39:41
Speaker 1: the legacy media's faves. Oh, they don't want to talk
39:44
Speaker 1: about the USVII because they'd have to put Stacey Plaskett
39:48
Speaker 1: on blast and they don't want to do that, do they.
39:50
Speaker 1: So instead, we'll do their job for them, and we'll
39:52
Speaker 1: continue to put the spotlight on the USVI and their
39:55
Speaker 1: Epstein cash grab, because that's all it is. If they
39:58
Speaker 1: cared about justice, well, people would be in prison, right.
40:02
Speaker 1: Nobody went to prison. There was no Rico case. It
40:04
Speaker 1: was a SECO case built purposely to go after the finances,
40:08
Speaker 1: and they couldn't even do that correctly. McCauley, along with
40:11
Speaker 1: other victim rights lawyers, has represented hundreds of survivors of
40:15
Speaker 1: Epstein's abuse in both criminal and civil actions over the
40:19
Speaker 1: past decade. Her first client was Virginia Roberts, whose allegations
40:23
Speaker 1: of sexual abuse in twenty fourteen court filings against Epstein,
40:27
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell, Prince Andrew, and a host of other well
40:30
Speaker 1: known men ignited a firestorm of news coverage that served
40:34
Speaker 1: as a catalyst to almost everything Epstein related that transpired
40:38
Speaker 1: over the next decade. Well, you would think that, you know,
40:41
Speaker 1: George Mitchell's name would be mentioned. Huh, I wonder why
40:43
Speaker 1: George Mitchell's never brought up. And like I've told you
40:45
Speaker 1: folks for a very long time, it's not just a
40:48
Speaker 1: straight up lies. It's the lives of omission when it
40:50
Speaker 1: comes to Jeffrey Epstein that make this so sinister because
40:54
Speaker 1: they knew all of this. It's not like people who
40:56
Speaker 1: are privy to this information and the legacy media had
40:59
Speaker 1: no idea what was going on. They all knew. They
41:02
Speaker 1: chose not to report on it. They chose not to
41:04
Speaker 1: lose access to people like Prince Andrew, and well here
41:07
Speaker 1: are the results. Suddenly, Epstein's lenient treatment by authorities in
41:10
Speaker 1: Florida years earlier, and his proximity to powerful people were
41:14
Speaker 1: under renewed scrutiny by civil attorneys, journalists, and law enforcement.
41:19
Speaker 1: When I first sat in a room with Virginia, it
41:21
Speaker 1: was almost an entire day, and I said, what is
41:24
Speaker 1: it that you want me to help you with? How
41:26
Speaker 1: can I help you? And she said, I want Epstein
41:29
Speaker 1: and Maxwell to pay for their crimes. I want them
41:32
Speaker 1: to be in prison, said McAuley, a managing partner at
41:35
Speaker 1: the law firm boy Schiller and Flexner. Robert's civil lawsuit
41:39
Speaker 1: against Maxwell, filed in twenty fifteen and settled two years later,
41:43
Speaker 1: served as sort of a dry run for Maxwell's criminal prosecution.
41:46
Speaker 1: In twenty twenty one, Roberts alleged that Maxwell, the socialite
41:50
Speaker 1: daughter of British publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, had for years
41:54
Speaker 1: enabled and participated in Epstein's abuse. Federal prosecutors secretly subpoenaed
42:00
Speaker 1: the sealed records of the case and later called his
42:02
Speaker 1: witnesses at Maxwell's trials. Several of the women who were
42:06
Speaker 1: set to testify in the civil dispute, and this is
42:09
Speaker 1: exactly why Prince Andrew didn't go through with it. This
42:12
Speaker 1: is why Prince Andrew settled because he knew that if
42:14
Speaker 1: he gave this testimony, the prosecutors would be able to
42:17
Speaker 1: dive into it and perhaps form a case against them.
42:20
Speaker 1: So that's why bitch asked Prince Andrew. The King of Corgheese,
42:25
Speaker 1: Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, didn't sit down for
42:28
Speaker 1: a deposition because he knew he was cooked. You think
42:31
Speaker 1: his lawyer, Andrew Brettler was going to let him get cooked.
42:34
Speaker 1: Zero chance, folks, Zero chance. Maxwell was convicted on five
42:38
Speaker 1: of six counts related to the abuse in trafficking of
42:41
Speaker 1: underage girls and sentenced to twenty years in prison. She
42:44
Speaker 1: is currently appealing her conviction a big spiraling ride. Among
42:50
Speaker 1: the witnesses against Maxwell was Annie Farmer, who said she
42:53
Speaker 1: was lured by Maxwell and Depstein and sexually abused at
42:57
Speaker 1: his New Mexico ranch when she was just sixteen years old.
43:00
Speaker 1: Farmer was also one of just two of Epstein victims
43:03
Speaker 1: to have the opportunity to confront him at his detention
43:06
Speaker 1: hearing in July of twenty nineteen. Less than a month later,
43:09
Speaker 1: Epstein was dead. His death was ruled by the New
43:12
Speaker 1: York City Medical Examiner as a suicide by hanging, but
43:15
Speaker 1: widespread skepticism of the official account abounds to this day.
43:20
Speaker 1: Well that's because the official narrative is straight gobbage, dirty
43:24
Speaker 1: hot gobbage. And all you have to do is take
43:26
Speaker 1: a look at the OIG report into the death of
43:29
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and you see the kind of nonsense that
43:31
Speaker 1: took place. From tartag Leoni being in that cell to
43:34
Speaker 1: the camera's not working, to the actual investigation of his death,
43:39
Speaker 1: none of it makes sense. And we haven't had any
43:41
Speaker 1: answers by anyone in power unless you're going to listen
43:45
Speaker 1: to what Bill Barr has to say. And I'll tell
43:47
Speaker 1: you what, There's about as much chance of me joining
43:50
Speaker 1: the Taliban as there is of me listening to Bill Barr.
43:53
Speaker 1: I think I've been pretty clear when I've said that
43:56
Speaker 1: Darth Barr is corrupt as the day is long, and
43:59
Speaker 1: is somebody that should not be trusted. Farmer said in
44:02
Speaker 1: an interview this month that attending Epstein's hearing five years
44:06
Speaker 1: ago was like beginning of a big spiraling ride, and
44:09
Speaker 1: you could see that, right. I mean, imagine going through
44:11
Speaker 1: what these girls went through and then having to relive
44:14
Speaker 1: it all over again, And I feel like I haven't
44:16
Speaker 1: gotten off, she said. I didn't anticipate that it would
44:19
Speaker 1: mean to speak at the hearing in terms of the
44:21
Speaker 1: attention that would come with that, And I don't think
44:23
Speaker 1: that anyone can really anticipate the way that the news
44:26
Speaker 1: story would take off and take on a life of
44:28
Speaker 1: its own. Farmer's older sister, Maria, was the first person
44:33
Speaker 1: to report Epstein and Maxwell to law enforcement authorities in
44:36
Speaker 1: nineteen ninety six, but no action was taken. Both sisters
44:39
Speaker 1: also spoke to the FBI in two thousand and six,
44:42
Speaker 1: when federal prosecutors identified at least three dozen alleged victims
44:46
Speaker 1: of Epstein's sexual abuse. But then the government made the
44:50
Speaker 1: infamous sweetheart deal with Epstein that allowed him to plead
44:53
Speaker 1: to two relatively minor charges in state court. He served
44:57
Speaker 1: just thirteen months of an eighteen month sentence with liberal
45:00
Speaker 1: work release privileges that allowed him to spend up to
45:03
Speaker 1: sixteen hours a day at his office in West Palm Beach. Now,
45:07
Speaker 1: how would you feel if you were Annie, knowing all
45:09
Speaker 1: of that and knowing that still justice hasn't been served.
45:13
Speaker 1: And frankly, everything that happened around Epstein was a straight
45:16
Speaker 1: up travesty. This man should have been in prison the
45:19
Speaker 1: first time around for about five thousand years. I have
45:22
Speaker 1: friends who have done longer stints for possession beefs than
45:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein did for molesting over one hundred girls. Maria
45:29
Speaker 1: Farmer has been pressing for years for the FBI to
45:31
Speaker 1: release records of her initial contact with the agency in
45:35
Speaker 1: nineteen ninety six. They just won't do it. They have
45:37
Speaker 1: no desire to do anything like that. They want to
45:40
Speaker 1: keep everything under wraps. They want to say there's a
45:42
Speaker 1: big investigation still ongoing. That way nobody knows the deal,
45:46
Speaker 1: and that way nobody knows the bullshit that they were
45:49
Speaker 1: truly up to. And this is how they roll. So
45:52
Speaker 1: what you're going to see is they're going to settle
45:53
Speaker 1: with the Epstein survivors, just like they did with Naser
45:57
Speaker 1: Epstein's nineteen fifty three trust. Epstein's death in twenty nineteen
46:02
Speaker 1: set off a frenzy of activity by victims advocates in
46:05
Speaker 1: courts from New York to Florida to the US Virgin Islands.
46:08
Speaker 1: Where Epstein owned the private island estate. Two days before
46:12
Speaker 1: his death, Epstein amended his will, transferring all the assets
46:15
Speaker 1: of his estate, valued at more than six hundred and
46:18
Speaker 1: fifty million, to a cryptic entity called the nineteen fifty
46:22
Speaker 1: three Trust, apparently named after the year he was born.
46:25
Speaker 1: The beneficiaries of the trust have not been identified. And
46:28
Speaker 1: you notice everything was moved to the US Virgin Islands right. Oh,
46:32
Speaker 1: and by the way, the whole last trust was set
46:35
Speaker 1: up in the Virgin Islands by these government officials who
46:38
Speaker 1: are now being looked at as far as this lawsuit.
46:41
Speaker 1: So you want to talk about enabling Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit,
46:45
Speaker 1: Like I've told you from the very beginning before anybody
46:47
Speaker 1: else was saying it. By the way, the USVII government
46:51
Speaker 1: is right smack dab in the middle. And anybody who
46:54
Speaker 1: doesn't understand that truly just doesn't get it. Because this
46:57
Speaker 1: was never about justice. This was about curing a bag.
47:01
Speaker 1: This was about making some money and also providing themselves
47:04
Speaker 1: some cover later on down the road, and before they
47:07
Speaker 1: were able to do that, thankfully, the survivors sued them.
47:11
Speaker 1: And now the USVII finds themselves in the position that
47:14
Speaker 1: JP Morgan found itself in while the USVII was going
47:18
Speaker 1: after them, So talk about chew. On the other foot,
47:22
Speaker 1: Epstein named as co executors of his estate Darren en
47:25
Speaker 1: Dyke and Richard Kahn, his longtime attorney and accountant. Lawyers
47:29
Speaker 1: for the pair hashed out in agreement with attorneys for
47:32
Speaker 1: the victims to create the Epstein Victim Compensation Fund, a
47:36
Speaker 1: voluntary restitution program modeled after similar complex claims for multiple
47:41
Speaker 1: victims of nine to eleven and clergy abuse in the
47:44
Speaker 1: Catholic Church. The program ended its operations in August twenty
47:48
Speaker 1: twenty one, having paid out more than one hundred and
47:50
Speaker 1: twenty million two one hundred and thirty six survivors of
47:53
Speaker 1: epstein sex trafficking network. Another fifty two women filed and
47:57
Speaker 1: privately settled claims outside of the compensation fund, according to
48:02
Speaker 1: court records, and the USVII got more money then the
48:06
Speaker 1: compensation fund paid out. How is that even possible? How
48:10
Speaker 1: is that okay? And how is that not more of
48:13
Speaker 1: an issue here with the overall story? And I need
48:16
Speaker 1: somebody to explain to me how the US Virgin Islands
48:19
Speaker 1: getting money makes it better for these survivors who actually
48:22
Speaker 1: were abused? Can somebody please explain that to me? To
48:25
Speaker 1: fund the claims program and to pay other creditors, the
48:28
Speaker 1: co executors of the estate sold most of Epstein's assets,
48:31
Speaker 1: including the Gulf Stream jet that carried him from Paris
48:34
Speaker 1: to Teeterborough Airport, New Jersey on the day of his arrest.
48:38
Speaker 1: They also sold his multimillion dollar mansions in Florida and
48:41
Speaker 1: New York, his apartment in central Paris, and his two
48:44
Speaker 1: private islands off the east coast of Saint Thomas, where
48:47
Speaker 1: much of the alleged abuse of children and young women
48:50
Speaker 1: is alleged to have taken place. Epstein's New Mexico ranch,
48:54
Speaker 1: the last of the estate's major real estate assets, was
48:57
Speaker 1: sold in August. Well, I wouldn't say the majority of it.
49:00
Speaker 1: I would say some of it, a lot of it.
49:03
Speaker 1: But what about Florida? What about New York? What about
49:06
Speaker 1: New Mexico? That nobody ever even talks about. Epstein's estate
49:09
Speaker 1: is still under probate court supervision in the US Virgin Islands.
49:12
Speaker 1: None of the unknown beneficiaries of the nineteen fifty three
49:15
Speaker 1: trust can receive benefits until all creditors are paid and
49:19
Speaker 1: all claims against the estate have been exhausted, with just
49:22
Speaker 1: a handful of lawsuits still active. The estate still holds
49:26
Speaker 1: assets of more than eighty four million dollars with liabilities
49:29
Speaker 1: of about thirty million. According to most recent accounting statement
49:33
Speaker 1: filed in court in Saint Thomas, this dude should add
49:36
Speaker 1: at every dollar taken from them and given to the survivors.
49:39
Speaker 1: But that's not how it works. Oh you thought that's
49:41
Speaker 1: what was going to happen. Sorry, you're wrong. All these
49:44
Speaker 1: other people have to get rich on the backs of
49:46
Speaker 1: these girls being abused. Survivors of Epstein's sex trafficking have
49:50
Speaker 1: also sought accountability from the financial institutions that held Epstein's
49:54
Speaker 1: vast fortunes and allegedly ignored red flags that should have
49:57
Speaker 1: alerted the banks and government authorities of riminal activity. JP
50:01
Speaker 1: Morgan Chase in Deutsche Bank each settled lawsuits brought by
50:05
Speaker 1: survivors for two hundred and ninety million and seventy five million, respectively,
50:09
Speaker 1: with no admission of wrongdoing. JP Morgan Chase paid another
50:13
Speaker 1: seventy five million to the USVII government, and Deutsche Bank
50:17
Speaker 1: agreed to pay one hundred and fifty million in penalties.
50:20
Speaker 1: Following an investigation by New York State financial regulators. It
50:24
Speaker 1: really woke up the financial institutions to the fact that
50:27
Speaker 1: they can no longer turn a blind eye when they're
50:29
Speaker 1: seeing these red flags in their institutions. McAuley said, oh yeah, right, sure,
50:35
Speaker 1: the financial sector. They're just going to clean it all
50:37
Speaker 1: up now, folks. That's it. We're never going to see
50:40
Speaker 1: this again. They're never going to be involved in any
50:42
Speaker 1: kind of bullshit ever again. I mean, for real, save it,
50:45
Speaker 1: sigared macauley. Okay. Private settlement with a prince perhaps no
50:50
Speaker 1: ripple effect of Epstein's sex trafficking network has received more
50:53
Speaker 1: attention than the allegations leveled by Roberts against Prince Andrew,
50:57
Speaker 1: who lost his military titles and r old patronages after
51:01
Speaker 1: his feled attempt to have Robert's lawsuit against him dismissed.
51:05
Speaker 1: The prince twenty nineteen BBC interview, in which he claimed
51:09
Speaker 1: not to recall ever meeting Roberts, was widely assailed as
51:12
Speaker 1: tone deaf and ineffectual. The Prince privately settled the lawsuit
51:16
Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two for an undisclosed sum. As part
51:20
Speaker 1: of the agreement, the Prince said he would make a
51:22
Speaker 1: substantial donation to Miss Robert's charity in support of victims' rights.
51:26
Speaker 1: According to a letter filed with the court, Prince Andrew
51:29
Speaker 1: is never intended to malign Miss Roberts's character, and he
51:32
Speaker 1: accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim
51:35
Speaker 1: of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.
51:39
Speaker 1: The letter said, it's known that Jeffrey Epstein traffic countless
51:42
Speaker 1: young women over the years. Prince Andrew regrets his association
51:45
Speaker 1: with Epstein and commends the bravery of Miss Roberts and
51:48
Speaker 1: other survivors in standing up for themselves and others. Yet
51:52
Speaker 1: not enough to bring the dough to the charity, though
51:55
Speaker 1: not enough to talk to the FBI. Save the candas responses,
51:58
Speaker 1: Please for somebody who cares. Expressing regret forever meeting or
52:02
Speaker 1: associating with Epstein became a common refrain for many whose
52:05
Speaker 1: names appeared in his address book or on flight logs
52:08
Speaker 1: of his private jet, or whose business or academic dealings
52:11
Speaker 1: with Ebstein were disclosed by journalists and victims lawyers. See
52:15
Speaker 1: what they really mean by that is that they regret
52:17
Speaker 1: that they were caught, not that you know they had
52:19
Speaker 1: associations with Ebstein, but that they were caught. That's what
52:22
Speaker 1: they really mean, because guess what, they all knew what
52:25
Speaker 1: Epstein was, and they chose to be around them anyway.
52:28
Speaker 1: The long list of remorseful includes prominent figures like Leslie Wexner,
52:33
Speaker 1: the founder of the limited company, billionaire private equity investor
52:36
Speaker 1: Leon Black, and many more. All denied any knowledge or
52:40
Speaker 1: participation in Epstein's elicted activities. Oh, no participation at all.
52:45
Speaker 1: And look, I'm not going to sit here and tell
52:46
Speaker 1: you that everybody was taking part in the abuse. I've
52:49
Speaker 1: told you a million times that that's not the case.
52:52
Speaker 1: There were levels to this and layers to it, and
52:55
Speaker 1: these dudes were all involved one way or the other,
52:58
Speaker 1: either enabling Epstein, financing Epstein, or in the worst cases,
53:02
Speaker 1: actually taking part in the abuse. Several prestigious universities, including
53:07
Speaker 1: Harvard and MIT, issued scathing reports on their associations with
53:11
Speaker 1: Epstein and acceptance of his financial gifts, even after his
53:14
Speaker 1: two thousand and eight guilty plea in Florida for solicitation
53:17
Speaker 1: of a minor into prostitution. Going forward, hopefully we will
53:21
Speaker 1: be in a position where trafficking victims will have some
53:23
Speaker 1: more protections, more people looking out for them, and more
53:26
Speaker 1: people doing the right thing finally, McCauley said. Annie Farmer
53:30
Speaker 1: said that the widespread recognition of the evils of epstein
53:33
Speaker 1: trafficking has made her feel like it was worthwhile to
53:37
Speaker 1: use my voice to speak out against this. But the
53:40
Speaker 1: constant stories in the news and on social media over
53:42
Speaker 1: the past five years, she said, have made it very
53:45
Speaker 1: difficult to escape a painful feeling that invariably surfaces wherever
53:50
Speaker 1: she hears his name. It's a cycle where you'll sort
53:53
Speaker 1: of feel like you're moving through it and kind of
53:55
Speaker 1: putting it in the past, but then something new comes
53:58
Speaker 1: up and you feel a little bit of dejah vous
54:00
Speaker 1: in terms of having to look backward, Annie Farmer said,
54:04
Speaker 1: it's also just really draining. She said that for all
54:07
Speaker 1: of the investigations and examinations of Epstein's operation, there is
54:11
Speaker 1: still so much missing. It's not clear to me how
54:14
Speaker 1: he was able to be in the position he was
54:16
Speaker 1: in financially. I think that opened up a lot of
54:19
Speaker 1: doors for him to commit these crimes, she told ABC News.
54:22
Speaker 1: And I still don't feel like there's a satisfying answer
54:25
Speaker 1: yet about why my sister's original complaint wasn't followed up
54:28
Speaker 1: on and what happened in two thousand and six when
54:31
Speaker 1: they recognized it was more of a systemic situation. Some
54:35
Speaker 1: of those answers could lie in still undisclosed records of
54:38
Speaker 1: the FBI, but the government has resisted calls from the victims,
54:42
Speaker 1: members of Congress, and the press to make the documents public.
54:46
Speaker 1: Prosecutors cite the potential impact exposure of the records could
54:49
Speaker 1: have on the retrial of Maxwell if her appeal is successful,
54:53
Speaker 1: and as soon as the Maxwell situation is dealt with,
54:56
Speaker 1: the FBI better turn these records over or it's going
54:58
Speaker 1: to be a bad day for them because once they
55:00
Speaker 1: don't have that protection of saying they have an ongoing investigation,
55:04
Speaker 1: then it's gonna be game time. You know that there's
55:07
Speaker 1: gonna be some sort of senator or a congressman or
55:10
Speaker 1: woman who's ready to go to town, whether it's for
55:13
Speaker 1: political purposes or otherwise. I don't really care at this point,
55:16
Speaker 1: as long as these documents get released, right because as usual,
55:20
Speaker 1: I don't care who was involved. Everybody who was involved
55:23
Speaker 1: gets it. There's no faves on this podcast. I don't
55:26
Speaker 1: like any of these people. Last week, a federal judge
55:29
Speaker 1: in New York agreed that the FBI files could be
55:31
Speaker 1: withheld by the agency and dismissed a Freedom of Information
55:35
Speaker 1: Act case first filed in twenty seventeen. And look, I
55:39
Speaker 1: wish I could sit here and tell you that I'm
55:41
Speaker 1: confident that justice is on the way and all these
55:43
Speaker 1: people are going to be held accountable, everybody's going to
55:46
Speaker 1: be exposed, But that's not going to happen. Unfortunately, that's
55:50
Speaker 1: just not going to happen. And you see it right
55:52
Speaker 1: here with the FBI. If they have all this information
55:55
Speaker 1: and all of these details and all this evidence, why
55:58
Speaker 1: hasn't anybody else been arrested? Why hasn't anybody else been prosecuted?
56:02
Speaker 1: And unfortunately, up until now, there are no good answers
56:05
Speaker 1: to any of those questions, And unfortunately, I don't think
56:09
Speaker 1: any answers are coming any time soon. All the information
56:13
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
56:16
Speaker 1: description box.
