- 7:06[SPEAKER_10]: Don't be too sad.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_10]: It's not that bad.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, listen, we've had a great time here.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_10]: The, uh, I'm Friday.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_10]: Got a big treat.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_10]: And of course, we were the ones who broke that story about the, uh, the, uh, Tom Holman, the borders are not being able to get a boat slip in, in seconds or a bottle of Jack Daniels or a hotel room.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_10]: As the mayor doesn't like his
- 7:33[SPEAKER_10]: And the mayor was on a apologetic about it.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not, you know, I will say you stood up for his position.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm not here to get to an argument of whether Alex Morges, a good guy, or bad guy.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_10]: You know, there'll be those who say he's got his rights.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_10]: And there's others who say that's probably not a good thing to do his mayor.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_10]: But in any event, I was over on Pearl Street with a couple other people, the welder and a couple others.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_10]: And Mindy was partender.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, tall guy, good looking guy.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, he commosions me over to the other end of the room, and I go over there, I see a disgruntled hot line listening, there's something like that, and I talked to him, and then quickly came to realize he was doing advanced work for Tom Holman.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_10]: The borders are.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_10]: So we chatted for a while, and then all of a sudden Mr. Holman showed up with a couple other people.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_10]: He's very nice, a chatted with him, everybody got pictures with him, got a picture of next to the bear outside, yep, and we sent it all the news media and all that stuff.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_10]: Some of them didn't want it, they didn't think it was news, but that's, he was all around town this weekend.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_10]: He was pretty, was it the general store on Bradley Street on Friday, Pearl Street pub, then he headed over to Gene's Beans for some fish for
- 9:04[SPEAKER_10]: for the holiday and then I guess then then the welder was telling me Saturday morning he went to mose diner he walks in and time home and say say hey he was the mayor's bar still or water you know if he recognized him so he was out and about here in water town good to see him nice guy and
- 9:29[SPEAKER_10]: you know what's surprising the number of people who's saving who's time home does anybody watch news or read anything anymore that did you know we had a plane shot down and both pilots were rescued uh... what uh... i don't know you're that yeah that the right exciting that was something what a job our armed forces did there bad situation
- 10:00[SPEAKER_10]: uh... staff uh... hunched out there on the ground we got one guy back quickly the other one that so quickly and and elaborate uh... rescue message effort was put on and they got them back and we lost some hardware and all a couple c one thirties got stuck in the mother to be blown up and of course the f fifteen was one eight ten more target went down with that pilot was safe to so
- 10:28[SPEAKER_10]: It was not without material loss for our side, but life and limb we did well, and tomorrow's the big showdown.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, you know, not saying I agree or don't agree with the policies, but he to clock tomorrow night, it'll be bridge and power plan day in a ran.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_10]: So, there you go.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_10]: Other things going on, the astronauts are they on the dark side of the moon yet?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, but they're close, close.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_10]: I guess they're set for it, and they're getting a chance to see parts of the moon that nobody's seen before, not that it's that exciting, it's just a kind of a rocky crater filled area, but still, you know, there's nothing, I don't know, it kind of looks like the Middle East to me, there are things the same, but that's just me.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_10]: Savannah got three back on the today's show.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_10]: Good for her.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_10]: Um...
- 11:35[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think she did a cooking segment or anything, but to see her back on.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_10]: You can't mope around forever.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_10]: Horrible thing.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it's not just mother died, everybody's mother is... many people have mothers who passed or fathers, but... he just didn't know where she is or what happened.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, her on the air.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_16]: Good afternoon, Mayor, how are you?
- 11:57[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, what's up?
- 11:58[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, what you're talking about with people or the head stuck in the mud where it comes to the news.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_16]: That's right, and it also works the other way is they take the news and put a way out of proportion.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_16]: You got a cab ride yesterday.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_16]: The cab driver says to me, did you hear what happened?
- 12:16[SPEAKER_16]: I said, no, what?
- 12:17[SPEAKER_16]: He goes to President is in the coma.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_16]: He's on light support, and they've shut the white house down.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_16]: but the more he talked, the more service he was.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_16]: In this guy, this moment, really believes that.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_16]: I tried talking him out of it, but it did no good.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_16]: I don't know what's all over Facebook, it's all over TikTok, it's all over everything.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_16]: Everybody knows about it, I'm surprised you don't know about it.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_16]: I swear, man.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_16]: I don't know about it.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_16]: It isn't ridiculous how things work.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it is.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_10]: I just saw the president speaking at the White House with an Easter Bunny next to him.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_10]: And he's going to hold a presser at about one o'clock
- 12:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I just wanted to verify your point there for everybody knows it's sadly it's true People just don't know really much of anything and I Don't know it's hard.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_16]: They don't even want to know.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think good No, I bet you there's a lot of people who don't know about the whole F-15 going down the pilot's rescue or anything Nor do they care No, no, I agree with it.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_16]: I agree with you Well, you have a good day.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_10]: Bye.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you
- 13:25[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I think he's right there.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_10]: You know, I heard something the other day and this whole thing with a golf course is counsel is getting there ahead of their skis as they say talking about leasing it out.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_10]: You know, and I'm not against the current person who has a concession stand up there, but I was told all the year he wanted the new ice machine.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_10]: He just called down to Parks and Rack and they got him one.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_10]: Now, that's like a $6,000 rate of, you know, that's, that's about the cost of, uh, crowhazing that we're half, we can't, we have to go without.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_10]: So somebody gets a free ice machine.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if the council really knows what's going on.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_10]: And what's being spent on what?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_10]: And if you say anything, I only say, well,
- 14:28[SPEAKER_10]: Now, what about, um... Oh, another thing it's in tonight's council agenda.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_10]: There was something for years called the Transportation Commission set up back in the 90s.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_10]: Supposed to be an advisory board to kind of study bus routes and that kind of thing.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_10]: Well, apparently they've been getting too uppity and want to really influence things.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_10]: So, the city manager has proposed to the council, no council member asked for it,
- 14:59[SPEAKER_10]: get rid of the transportation commission and appoint a new transportation committee Well five members of which he appoints all five Kind of a rump committee if you will Now accounts of members they get that near agenda and the issues already framed for them Nobody would like requested it.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_10]: It was never discussed and Though though yes on it tonight, but how much power are they gonna seed?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_10]: to unelected people, whether they're a nice guy or not.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I, yeah, I was talking to Mayor McDougall this morning.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_10]: They just distinguished an honorable mayor of the village of governor.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_10]: You know, he runs the village.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_10]: They used to have a paid village administrator.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_10]: He says, they don't have one.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_10]: And they said, he said, to me, good riddance.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_10]: He runs it.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_10]: You know, and they got a DPW and a police department, other things, too.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_10]: and he does it for practically nothing because he knows as we do in the North country will pay an unelected bureaucrat to a hundred thousand a year but elected representative getting twenty years oh my god it shouldn't be enough for the money and all of that so but i read that thing about the transportation committee and i said he said and i had an even caught it up a listener pointed it out to me so
- 16:24[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you, Roxanne, 755, 1240 of the phone number if you'd like to give us a call.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_10]: And beyond the other things tonight, Ben shown alert, Ben shown alert, Ben shown said he didn't want a tax increase higher than the statutory tax ceiling, cap, they can't.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_10]: Something Cuomo put in there to try to hold down, budget, you have to stay within this cap.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_10]: and the only way around it's the past a local law hold a here public hearing and then approve the local law well again no one on city council ask for it but there's a a local law in tonight's agenda for a tax debt to repeal the tax cap or waive it oh who put that in there the mayor so anyway we'll see if somebody introduces it in seconds it if they do
- 17:22[SPEAKER_10]: Hang on to your checkbook because they want higher taxes.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_10]: Now, especially shown, Mr. Schoen, we'll see if he's involved in voting on that and votes yes or so.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_10]: They'll pass it.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_10]: No doubt about it and wave the, but if you're waving the tax cap is supposed to provide discipline for the undisciplined, right, rightly or wrongly, that was the intent.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_10]: And if you wave it, there's no discipline, do whatever you want.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_10]: Whatever you want.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_10]: A couple of tax messages.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_10]: We don't want to subsidize the person with free water and electricity running a golf course that's scheduled to be closed.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_10]: um... what's this say oh don't know what's going on in the building a lobby was pitch black at city all this morning while they're doing work on that new revamped courtroom i don't know i haven't been in city all and i'm afraid of the uh... they might have pulled up a floor tile and there's a specialist all over who knows
- 18:51[SPEAKER_10]: Just some things going on.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_10]: Keep an eye on tonight's council meeting on that tax cap.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_10]: It's not that we don't want to pay higher taxes.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_10]: We see everybody get raises and more of this and more that somebody told me they wanted to hire an assistant arborist for the trees and they want to hire the trash truck operator.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_10]: It's a new civil service list.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_10]: Even though they want to they're talking about getting rid of trash service.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_10]: That doesn't make sense.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_10]: They're listing to hire lifeguards for pools they want to close and a golf maintenance guy for a course they want to close.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_10]: Here's another one.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_10]: Something to communities there's a proposed cannabis dispensary called Flintstone.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_10]: Not a local operator.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_10]: space scrutiny at the state OCM office of cannabis management over ownership and compliance issues.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_10]: Well, what's stoned in the name of the place, that'd be like bottled drunk, called the buyer of that or whatever.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's down in the state way of pleasure.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_10]: That's where the double-stabbing occurred last month.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_10]: in the after-hour's club yeah the only one in one of them only approved but uh... i don't know if we're gonna get to that in a minute the whole now i don't know i mean if they want to open a weedster so we get weed stores all over the city could have to do it around the air i don't know there's an empty continent and then he constantly know from Amsterdam how are you great don't really good we got some
- 20:45[SPEAKER_09]: big news that a lot of fun hanging out with another incredible mayor one of the best of all time, Rudy Giuliani, we became good friends and it's hit in the media today that he endorsed me in a big way.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_10]: Well, yeah, I saw that in congratulations there certainly the mayor is well-liked by a lot of people.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if it will make the media up here.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_10]: You pissed off the water town times, didn't you?
- 21:11[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that guy deserves to get fired out of school.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_09]: He lied.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_09]: He lied in the paper again.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_09]: He got caught right handed lying.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_09]: I just said a petition record over 9,000 petitions.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_09]: But because he has an agenda, he lied and he said, teacher, a cop, a Democrat.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_09]: Got 15,000 petitions.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_09]: It's a made up number of her own campaigns that she only got 5,000 or 5,300 dollars.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's all in Shai-Breeze, Bob.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_10]: But you did have to submit petitions this week, right?
- 21:36[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_09]: 9,000 is a record.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_09]: But beyond that, I'm an expert in turn around.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_09]: I'm an expert in hiring and firing and building rate organizations.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_09]: And when you get a bad person on your team, you got to let them go.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_09]: Alex is going to bat egg, at least the Fonic agrees me on this one too.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_09]: He's a bat egg, you got caught lying and I think lying is okay.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_10]: Now, what do you think about the mayor of Sackett's Harbor?
- 21:56[SPEAKER_10]: Does not want to allow Tom Holman who won't rent a boat slip to him.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_10]: That's the Marina he owns.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_09]: or disperse to our country, it's ridiculous.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_09]: Not moment to on the job, he's on a very difficult job.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_09]: And this is one of the things I was talking to Mayor Giuliani about.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_09]: The Democrats is holy lost their minds.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what's happened.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_09]: He said, you know, on his day, he was able to even work with some Democrats.
- 22:17[UNKNOWN]: And he said, even Chuck Schumer used to be nice to Donald Trump.
- 22:21[UNKNOWN]: But holy lost their minds, this behavior's app Horanth.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_09]: There shouldn't be anyone acting like that in the United States when they're coming.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_09]: And it's one of the reasons why I got
- 22:30[SPEAKER_09]: in politics, I saw how bad the Democrat party is behaving, and I'm involved in the corrected.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_10]: So you're in this primary battle with Assemblyman Smullen.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_10]: You've certainly got the resources in the race, and you've got obviously Mayor Giuliani and Roger Stone, and you've got a lot of muscle behind you, but Mr. Smullen has, it's most of the county chairs that, I don't know, aren't they the ones who vote in primary, so isn't that troublesome?
- 23:00[SPEAKER_09]: battle, the voters are the ones that vote in the primary to citizens, is over 800,000 people, and then why 21, I'm up by 27 points in the poll, polls, every single metric in my favor, endorsements are a great marketing to one.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_09]: I just got the biggest endorsement of the race.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_09]: Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a guy who I'm a big fan of, and he icing on the cake for me getting the Rudy Giuliani endorsement of the friends now.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_09]: And so a lot of fun, I had a great time getting a no-hand, hopefully comes up to the district.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_10]: Well, he was here at the radio station two years ago.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_10]: So we've met him, but I want to ask you obviously Rudy Giuliani is sort of involved in mega world.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_10]: So are we to assume that his endorsement of you represents the president feeling the same way?
- 23:43[SPEAKER_09]: I think Rudy speaks from self and I had a lot of fun getting to know him and he said incredible things we met.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_09]: we talked for quite a while and then he decided to do a video endorsement and things he said were he could have asked for a better endorsement he said American needs a hundred Anthony Constantino that's at the huge compliment he said another thing which I've been saying he said Anthony Constantino will be one of our greatest congresspeople right off the bat and I've said the same thing too I have an incredible track record we want to most accessible people entering congress and Rudy realized right away he said Anthony is one of our best congresspeople right off the bat which is something we want
- 24:19[SPEAKER_09]: Well, don't take it true.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_10]: Don't take it too seriously.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_10]: Rudy also said American needs a hundred Jeff Graham's Yeah Hey, I agree with that as many of you and me as we can get the better Okay, now what about at least to find it?
- 24:35[SPEAKER_10]: She lives in a district.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_10]: I obviously she's gonna vote in the primary I think she's gonna vote for this.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_10]: I have no insight information Personally, I think in the privacy of the booth three votes for you, but what do you think?
- 24:47[SPEAKER_09]: I think her to see, you know, she's a very private person, I respect her privacy.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_09]: I like her a lot.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_09]: I think she's done a great job as Congress, as Congresswoman, representing our district, and I want to fill her shoes effectively.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_09]: But, you know, she's being a very private person, with her personal decisions, and I respect that.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I'm going to fill her shoes.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_10]: I'll text her and get her shoes size, then.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_10]: I mean.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_09]: Well, they might wear a little bit different shoes.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_10]: I know, I know.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's great.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_10]: I'm glad things are going well for you.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I've talked to your opponent on the air.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_10]: He seems, now, here's the thing.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_10]: He's circulated.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_10]: He accepted the conservative party nomination.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_10]: Um, so, intimated that he's going to run through the November on that line no matter what happens in the GOP primary.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_10]: Isn't that somewhat problematic for you?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_09]: It's problematic for him at the disgrace.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_09]: He's proud of the fact that the same guy who up Zolram and Tommy win is now helping him.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_09]: In the conservative party, there's no primary one gluttonous loser in New York City gets to pick the candidate.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_09]: And that same guy just...
- 25:57[SPEAKER_09]: nominated a democrat in your city to help so run mundami went to the disgrace he should be ashamed but he's not ashamed because he likes playing put to the democrat my opponent voted to use your tax dollars for transgenders and he voted for d.i.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_09]: he voted multiple times was all on mundami on a match in their friends maybe who the hell knows but he should be embarrassed by that endorsement he should be like me calling for that guy to resign long for jury to start a resign both because of the way he spoke
- 26:27[SPEAKER_09]: and now he recently helped the ex-oremondom which is one of the worst things ever happened in your state.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_10]: Well, Jerry Cassars, the conservative party chair on a staffer for Congresswoman Malia Tockets, correct?
- 26:38[SPEAKER_09]: That's concerning too, what's going on there?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_10]: Well, she's a Republican, no, I mean.
- 26:46[UNKNOWN]: How is the conservative party chair of staffer?
- 26:50[SPEAKER_10]: Well, range.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_10]: And you're not so good thing.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, okay.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's good.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it's good to hear from you.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_10]: And you're going to get Roger up here at a water tone.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_09]: Hopefully hopefully he comes up.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_09]: I was like, maybe we get Rudy to come back and see, right?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_09]: I'd love to get Rudy up.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_09]: I had a lot of fun with them.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_09]: We were hugging by the end of the, you know, by the end of our hangout session with everyone to call a give you a big hug and I give him a hug.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_09]: And I think we're really, really like each other.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_09]: He sees every bit as great as I thought.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_09]: and he said a lot of great things about me getting a lot of great inside information he's a man to the people just like I am just talking about bottom-up politicians that look down their nose at the citizens he's not that way I'm not that way either I like the citizens more than I like the political class and I think that's the political class wrong sometimes but hey it is what it is better to deal with an honest person what was the response to your song you wrote?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_09]: well I did a number of songs how many songs have I done?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_09]: I did my radio jungle I've done a number of songs
- 27:51[SPEAKER_09]: But you know, I like music so far and I did a whole Trump album over ten songs for the president.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_09]: I like writing.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_09]: I think, you know, you like writing too.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_09]: And I realize you can use your writing talents to write music.
- 28:01[UNKNOWN]: Just like you can write your right.
- 28:01[UNKNOWN]: You can write to beaches, articles for different publications.
- 28:05[UNKNOWN]: Writing's writing and, you know, I like writing.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_09]: And the music's a good way to get a message out because you're like listening to music more than they like listening to speech sometimes.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you know, on Friday last Friday, Tom Holman came to the Pearl Street Pub.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_10]: stopped in to thank me first uh... publicizing that situation in seconds so uh... we have famous people who come there we expect to see you too dip from great i'm i'm got to make this the the the journey there to track there and get a beer with you okay so it's good well thank you mr. constantly know we appreciate it and good luck always a pleasure mr. mayor and hope to see it for a sleep up very soon okay thank you by now
- 28:48[SPEAKER_10]: All right, Anthony Constantino, one of the candidates for the Republican nomination.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_10]: You remember a couple of weeks ago, we had Robert Smollonon, we are, of course, fair and balanced here today, Rudy Giuliani endorsed Constantino as some people scoff at that, but I say it, you know, it means a lot to the hardcore Republicans, not the rhinos, like here in Jefferson County, the rhinos in this county.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_20]: But after doing it on the air, I got afternoon, Jeff, I saw the picture you posted of the document from Sackets Harbor there.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_20]: And I know last Safari, you pointed out the fact that it was not signed.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_20]: And the picture certainly confirms that.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_20]: But the other thing I noticed was that it was not dated.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_20]: And in my opinion, any document that is not signed.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_20]: And it's not dated, it's not worth the paper, it's written down.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_20]: And that's my opinion, so the day he pops a good work, he'll see you on the radio.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_10]: OK, but thank you.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know who that letter went out to.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_10]: Billor's residence.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if it was mailed or whatever.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_10]: And the media, you know, the media didn't, didn't choose to cover that aspect of it.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't really know.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_10]: And I don't know what the, um,
- 30:06[SPEAKER_10]: What the chatter is in seconds about this whole thing, I know some of the competing areas like Anderson were triting them saying, hey, come on down here.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_10]: I will give you a boat slip.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_10]: That kind of stuff.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't really know what the mood is in seconds, but I think the mayor's opinions represent a lot of people.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_10]: They're certainly not everybody, but a lot of people.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_10]: But that's no reason not to go to a restaurant.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_10]: You know, place like good fellows, great restaurant, not owned by the mayor or anything, but you know, you should still go there.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it's good food.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_10]: And there's some other places, a downtown.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_10]: It's getting into the season.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if Mr. Holman's slip at the marine has been right into someone else already.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_10]: I don't even know what a slip cost for the year.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_10]: Now, it's the other, the other marine is Navy Point, right?
- 31:04[SPEAKER_10]: Did they rent to power boats or only sail boats?
- 31:07[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, I don't know a lot about it, but anyway.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, we're going to be back in a moment with more of the hotline in just a moment.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_17]: just don't say it often enough.

- 33:06[SPEAKER_27]: We can only fund 22 of them.

- 34:35[SPEAKER_10]: You know, we're talking about that golf course earlier.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_10]: Now that the city's, I don't know, apparently accepting offers to quote Lisa.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_10]: There's something called a triple net, Lisa.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if our real property experts are out there.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_10]: We're the tenant pays, like the taxes,
- 34:56[SPEAKER_10]: maintenance of the cement.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_10]: That's not what the city had.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_10]: Proposes.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_10]: They handle everything.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_10]: Of course, there are no taxes.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_10]: Free water and sewer.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_10]: Apparently, you just called down to parks and rack if you're ice machines on the fritz and they'll buy you a new one.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_10]: Last time I had to even price out ice machine was around six grand and that's not for a real super duper pig one.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_10]: A decent water
- 35:25[SPEAKER_10]: But I didn't, that's a great deal if you don't have to buy equipment, you don't have to pay for the electricity to run it, you don't have to pay for the water that goes through it.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_10]: That's a cheap as I shall ever find.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_10]: So good deal there.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, the other golf course owner in town who is of course, Jake Johnson.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_10]: I did ran into him yesterday, was chatting with him.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_10]: you know he says well if they're gonna at least that out of all i'll take it and he does he's got considerable expertise got shannon to run a restaurant all of that i i think this person i think the city should retain it promote it celebrate it and quick crap and i not doing you know all right you got jeff felon in there for the summer and i mean felon's a good guy i don't know them that well nice guy smart guy
- 36:24[SPEAKER_10]: And kind of fits for the moment, you know, to fill in for the moment.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_10]: But oh my god, he's going to have a rough time selling a hot dog up there the way they, well, we're going to close it.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_10]: It's no good.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_10]: It loses money.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_10]: Wow, blah, blah, blah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_10]: And it carries on and on, uh, it's sick of these people.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yet we have, well, I won't even get into the areas of the city budget that, uh, but afford to be meet cleavered.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_10]: But after you're on the air,
- 36:53[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_14]: Guy, question for you.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_14]: Why would you read a piece of paper when you don't know where it came from for one?
- 37:02[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_14]: You don't know it's legit, but here's the thing.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_14]: This is the thing that is from whoever there that's the board or whoever, right?
- 37:13[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_14]: And we're making it sound like that they're open to people of all kinds.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_14]: In fact, that's the way they're trying to come across with a piece of paper that just what you're saying is the individual business decision, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_14]: Well, how many businesses would you think it would take for people to boycott Trump?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_08]: Not mine.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, businesses will take before the board comes out to the
- 37:51[SPEAKER_14]: discriminating against crump lovers okay for example you got more to do that for his both business also you got ice cream shop that don't want to serve from people home some you got some other businesses that don't want serve from people how many businesses would it take for the board to denounce that the actions of their businesses in fact is harbor are
- 38:22[SPEAKER_14]: yeah they also could say no uh... at the local supporters of whatever i don't know uh... but that one be right either what it no not at all what we're talking to thousand twenty six here i don't care if you're black jewish from a democrat republican that is not a way you can talk business in the village should be now set
- 38:44[SPEAKER_14]: But instead of saying that they don't, they don't have any say on it, well, they should announce that that's my point, you should not allow a business to be able to discriminate or discriminate against a person.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_10]: You know, the rest of us, there'd be, there's laws about that.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_10]: And all sorts of agencies to come down on you.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_10]: But, you know, and I realize political beliefs are what they are.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_10]: But now, if you feel like if you don't like,
- 39:15[SPEAKER_10]: Trump, and you don't want to, and you think I'm a Trump bar, and you don't want to come there because that's your choice, and that's my choice, but I'm never going to bar anybody because they, my God, I've got an employee who voted for Kamala Harris.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_10]: I did.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_14]: Well, here you go.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_14]: See, that's my point right there.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_14]: And when you have one business, you want that, especially his high, powerful position of sagging, that's a reflection on
- 39:45[SPEAKER_14]: because you know, he's telling other businesses probably could do the same thing he has done.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_10]: And probably, if he's, well, I'd be worried about, I'd worry about sending a kid to school in that village because of, you know, the, the, the strong, from for angels.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, sure.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_14]: Well, that, uh, the Kirk guy there.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_14]: If, if you liked him or something like that, I bet you, you would be just a playing in the school for talking about that.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_14]: You could talk about
- 40:15[SPEAKER_14]: You probably would be expelled or maybe not even alone to come to the school if you're very vocal about being a come supporter.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_14]: I'm sure that's the way it would play out in seconds.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_14]: But I do think that that's a reflection on seconds that I'll be limiting my money that's going to sack it because of that.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_14]: I don't stand for discrimination, black, whoever you are, religious,
- 40:42[SPEAKER_14]: because you believe in God, if a business is going to take that stance, I'm going to take my stance against that.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_10]: No, okay, thanks a lot.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_10]: Wow, he's upset.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_10]: I don't want to see people take it out on nice people.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, and that's a tough thing.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, if he doesn't, I guess the mayor owns a liquor store, is that many won't sell
- 41:09[SPEAKER_10]: The borders are, I don't know, and it's like that.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_10]: Mr. Holman said to me on Friday said, I'm not up here as much, because obviously he's got a job, but his family is, and you don't want them subjected to nonsense, it's, you know, it isn't a, you never know with these people somebody gets trumped a arrangement syndrome so bad, they do something really bad, but after doing it on the air,
- 41:40[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, would the City Council raise in the taxes in this city?
- 41:46[SPEAKER_11]: Within the last two years, they've already raised the taxes for the property or in this city 19%, and all year, they want to raise in another 11%.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_11]: They want to get rid of the trash service, which they just want to head and raise the sticker prices on the trash here in the city.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_11]: And they bought new trucks.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_11]: Right to get rid of the trash service now they're raised the price is on the stickers and now they want to like say double the taxes again and the senior citizen they can't afford a 10% tax raise or 11% a lot of them can't even afford a 3% raise that they want to go ahead and raise and when this city council
- 42:34[SPEAKER_11]: ran uh... they all ran out being physically responsible whether or not fishery spots and when they just went ahead uh... wasted eight million dollars on the year old uh... public bill and down town mm-hmm and uh... myself as a senior assistant i'm not a happy property owner city tax mayor and a city thank you and have a good day thank you okay uh... unhappy person and we'll be back with more in a moment
- 43:02[SPEAKER_17]: and talk authority, WATM-1240.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_17]: Get into it, and you'll be amazed what you get out of it.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_21]: Every day, someone walks to the mailbox.

- 44:15[SPEAKER_24]: Why?
- 44:16[SPEAKER_24]: Because they want control.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_24]: But Anthony Constantino, a true Trump Republican, is focused on something different.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_24]: The real needs of the North Country.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_24]: For Watertown and Fort Drum, that means protecting federal defense spending and the job supporting thousands of military families.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_24]: In Platsburg, it means stronger border staffing to reduce customs delays and protect trade.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_24]: In the Adirondax, it's smarter environmental policy.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_24]: Protecting our land while supporting logging, tourism, and local jobs.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_24]: From Lewis and St. Lawrence counties to O'Night Accounty, Anthony will stand with dairy farmers, protect Medicare reimbursement, and fight for local health care providers.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_24]: And in Glenn's Falls, Constantineo will work hard for downtown revitalization funding.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_24]: While Democrats push their national agenda, Anthony Constantino is focused on the real issues that matter here.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_24]: He's funding his own campaign, no special interests, and he'll fight for you in Congress.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_24]: The Democrats want Trump out.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_32]: I'm Anthony Calcantino and I approve this message.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_32]: Paid for by Constantino for Congress.

- 46:24[SPEAKER_10]: And here we are on the show of shows.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_10]: Yep, you don't want to miss it.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody text him.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_10]: We need more people like your last caller expressing their concerns at the council meeting.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_10]: I just don't know if they'll be there.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_10]: I think most people just sort of.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_10]: shrugged as shoulders at the whole thing and say, well, we're going to pay.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_10]: And it's not, well, it's not that that amount of money this year is going to sink most of us or something, it's just that I know there's some people who say, well, if you can't pay the grid bells, move out of the state, you can't afford to live in a blue state, don't live here.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I guess, but I'm here and we're all some are going to go.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody else wants me, right?
- 47:23[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't know.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_10]: See what happens.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_10]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_10]: What's your own year?
- 47:33[SPEAKER_10]: Talk about whatever you want within the bounds of your taste.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_10]: Okay?
- 47:38[SPEAKER_10]: About that Soleimani's family there up in California,
- 47:44[SPEAKER_10]: If I were them, I'd be so off the radar, live in life in southern California, come on, good luck.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_10]: A good-looking Persian girls, I don't know, now they're going to get kicked out of the country.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_10]: Crazy.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_10]: Well, they can go back there and live in wherever they live in, around, or whatever.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it's not all that bad a place, I mean, if you've got a nice place up on the
- 48:16[SPEAKER_10]: you know areas you wouldn't want it with those areas here you wouldn't want it right seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to be on the show of shows uh... let's see this story out of all of the estate house sex attack victim has revealed excruciating details of her assault by a former top aide to shellys silver pencil
- 48:50[SPEAKER_10]: uh... says that uh... the uh... aid michael boxley assaulted her years ago there's a lot of it it's all but he you know they they impose the rules on everybody else and i'm sure there's boxley was one of their little equal rights this and mandatory this and a human rights commission and all these other things that are essentially crooked and but they but they but they're doing everything they want the capital they're banging everybody
- 49:20[SPEAKER_04]: but you can't take them seriously except that they have the lovers of government and can cause you a lot of trouble but after noon you're on the air yeah i don't know if anybody's noticed or not but they talk about raising taxes and every time they've had to raise the city taxes over the last few years in the city they've lowered the percentage of actually increased the percentage of the self-knowing so now the percentage of the self-knowing
- 49:48[SPEAKER_10]: even though your house is assessed for a certain amount you're only paying 73% of that amount yeah it's the equalization rate but uh so it's it's going up but it's not really going up it's very well in some cases but i mean what you're talking about is the tax levee the total amount of money raised to property taxes is going up and um that's the concern now i will say this
- 50:12[SPEAKER_10]: For every $5 that the third floor spends, only one of those dollars is paid by your property taxes.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: Well, sure.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure of that.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_10]: The other sources.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: The other thing I have going forward that perhaps the council should look at for going their races that are projected out in the current races also and maybe management's
- 50:39[SPEAKER_10]: and it's negotiated and you really can't deal with that management is not well I don't know the other argument is well I punish management because if your inability to control your union work really costs I don't think you're punishing them because actually you're cutting back on like a lot of these yeah and you look at a lot of these people that you never see them I mean they get paid 130-40-50 thousand a year you never see them
- 51:10[SPEAKER_04]: paper a couple of times a year and that that service could easily be contracted out.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_10]: Neil.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_10]: Neil.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_10]: Neil.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_04]: Neil.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_04]: you should probably contract that out for half of what it costs to pay this guy in pay his legacy cost.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_10]: The same thing's true of I mean we've got layers of management that you never see.
- 51:49[UNKNOWN]: Sure.
- 51:51[UNKNOWN]: Sure.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_10]: You know half the city could burn down and you wouldn't see the fire chief on TV and the same thing's true with the police chief.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_10]: You never see these people.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_04]: Well that's kind of important there but because I would
- 52:07[SPEAKER_04]: police department then a tree guy if I was a trouble.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_10]: Well that's true but you don't see any of them you see more of the tree guy than you do the police chief.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah well I don't know there are trees in the police chief around TV every now and on that too.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway the tree guy just seems to get his picture a couple of times a year after they point twenty trees somewhere in a vacant lot.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: Or on a street where they're going to cause trouble.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway that's my thought for the day is.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_10]: Well, City Council doesn't get any raises because they're afraid to give it to them.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_04]: But y'all, but it's in the budget.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_10]: Who said?
- 52:43[SPEAKER_04]: If you look.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_10]: Really?
- 52:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_10]: I'm much.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not very much, but it's a little bit.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's paying for a playground supervisor.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's a false economy, though.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, we go through this all the time.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_10]: We'll pay somebody a billion dollars.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_10]: And then worry about the elected official, you know.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_10]: being compensated for what they do.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_10]: You don't mind your Congress person or your state senator, they don't do anything.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_04]: But if you're ahead of the city and you're going to recommend laying people off firing people freezing, closing virtually every thing that brings people to town recreationally, letting the trash or people, while they're flailing around, I'll grant you that.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_04]: And then you're going to give your setback picture on the back and give yourself a raise and say, I did that.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't know they
- 53:34[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_10]: All righty.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_10]: Well, thank you.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_04]: Have a good day.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_10]: Bye.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, Jeff.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_15]: I have a question for you.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_15]: Do you remember a story a few years ago that ran out with a new business and water combat was opening?
- 53:49[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_15]: There were raised in money for a Mars Crypto?
- 53:55[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_10]: All I know is that in just a few moments, the astronauts are going on the dark side of the moon.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I can't because I gotta do, I gotta do a break here, so I, well, let's do it tomorrow.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_10]: We can talk about the spaceflight tomorrow after it's over.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_10]: I gotta run, thanks.

- 57:44[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, go ahead, I don't care.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_10]: You know, um...
- 57:51[SPEAKER_10]: It's just like... You're paying the mad...
- 57:56[SPEAKER_10]: pay in benefits and so you're paying the mayor less than half of what time walker got when he first got an office and that wasn't that much then you getting what you pay for here and you're paying more and more for administrators who have no connection with the uh... people of the city that's the way i look at it and i'm sorry some people don't like that you shouldn't say that no so i feel
- 58:25[SPEAKER_10]: air congressmen or state senator all those people i don't even know what the county luxury will get paid but uh... what a bit i hear good afternoon you're on the air and uh... well what are we going on we have much time left but if you want to give us a call hello go ahead you're on the air
- 58:52[SPEAKER_13]: just going to do the city budget I'm looking at it and it looks a lot of stuff hidden in here looks like over 60% of the budget could be wrong but a couple people have looked at it goes toward you know essentially the New York State pension program and then we have about looks like 20 to 30% goes to labor and that doesn't really leave much
- 59:15[SPEAKER_13]: Anything else like sand on for the road DPW equipment stuff like that.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_10]: So well a lot of it is tied up in that and there's a lot of other numbers in there that are just numbers picked out of the air too So they could massage those numbers or whatever they want Yeah, I just kind of want to get in that is okay.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_10]: Well listen, I've got to go because I'm out of time I'm in we talked tomorrow.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_10]: I know you can't I'll have to talk tomorrow.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you very much.
