- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh, America's favorite fake doctor.
- 0:05Speaker 2: You're talking about yourself again?
- 0:06Speaker 1: Man, Oh, look at you? How are you? We're a hit.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something before you even say a word,
- 0:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna put you in a good mood. Guess what
- 0:14Speaker 1: GQ Magazine UK says is the second best podcast of
- 0:20Speaker 1: the year. What's that? US mofo?
- 0:23Speaker 2: What's the first?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I don't know, I just clicked on it. The first
- 0:27Speaker 1: one is one called popcast. Have you heard that?
- 0:29Speaker 2: If we ain't number one, then we ain't doing shit?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Oh shut up, ain't doing one? They got thirty three
- 0:35Speaker 1: listed here. Bro, the people of the United Kingdom like us.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I love the people of the United Kingdom.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Listen, I want to hear what they said about us. Sure,
- 0:43Speaker 1: go ahead. Following in the wake of successful podcast launches
- 0:46Speaker 1: from fellow former TV stars at Sopranos and The Office,
- 0:50Speaker 1: that's bullshit. We were right before the Sopranos. I think anyway,
- 0:56Speaker 1: shots fot I know, I actually don't want shots fired
- 0:59Speaker 1: at the Soprano guys, Zach Braff and Donald Faison have
- 1:02Speaker 1: launched a podcast recapping the show that made them famous,
- 1:05Speaker 1: the two thousands medical sitcom Scrubs. Braff and Faison met
- 1:08Speaker 1: at the table read for the series, which ran for
- 1:10Speaker 1: nine series. They say series there instead of seasons, and
- 1:14Speaker 1: still has a devoted cult audience that you guys listening
- 1:17Speaker 1: thank you ten years after its finale and have been
- 1:20Speaker 1: best friends ever since. Braf hosted Faison's wedding in his
- 1:23Speaker 1: back garden. I would have said yard again, British people, Okay,
- 1:27Speaker 1: got it. Naturally, Their rapport as podcast hosts is second
- 1:31Speaker 1: to none. Donald, it's second to none. Two, because they're
- 1:36Speaker 1: not judging solely rapport, they're judging podcasts as a whole
- 1:39Speaker 1: on Earth. This year, if the list were best rapport,
- 1:43Speaker 1: we'd be number one.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Number one.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, natural, I'm gonna read that you make that list? Please, yes,
- 1:50Speaker 1: listen ready, I'm gonna read that sense again because it's
- 1:52Speaker 1: a delightful one. Naturally, their rapport as podcast hosts is
- 1:56Speaker 1: second to none, and each episode gives listeners a window
- 2:00Speaker 1: into a show biz friendship, as well as behind the
- 2:03Speaker 1: scenes anecdotes about the show. The guest roster has thus
- 2:06Speaker 1: far been excellent, with Bill Lawrence, John McGinley, Sarah Chalkburn
- 2:10Speaker 1: and Frasier all popping in over the course of the run.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Charming trips down memory lane. Aside, they also deal with
- 2:15Speaker 1: some of the slightly more awkward results of looking back
- 2:17Speaker 1: at an old show in twenty twenty, having frank conversations
- 2:20Speaker 1: about episodes that feature blackface and racist and sexist jokes. Well,
- 2:27Speaker 1: they don't have to end on that sentence, for God's sake, anyway.
- 2:31Speaker 1: The point is that we're a big hit. GQ is
- 2:34Speaker 1: a fancy magazine and they like this.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I've heard of them. Man, They're freaking they do. They
- 2:38Speaker 2: do great articles, right, I know what.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It stands for, what gentleentlemen quarterly? Gentlemen's quarterly. But ladies, No,
- 2:47Speaker 1: ladies are allowed to look at it. But I think
- 2:48Speaker 1: it's intended for the well dressed gentleman. Oh, like you're
- 2:52Speaker 1: allowed to read Cosmo, but you probably won't.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I've never no, I know, have you ever read a No,
- 3:01Speaker 2: I've drank one, though.
- 3:06Speaker 1: How are you doing, friend, I'm well, friend.
- 3:08Speaker 2: How are you I'm good?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, just just chilling, just just getting by day
- 3:15Speaker 1: by day.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Babe.
- 3:16Speaker 1: All right, tell me about your your weekend. What what happened?
- 3:19Speaker 1: What kind of festivities? What did we do this weekend?
- 3:22Speaker 1: The kids are into golf?
- 3:23Speaker 2: The kids are right, so we went and if my
- 3:27Speaker 2: dream could really come true, I could get a golf
- 3:30Speaker 2: simulator in my house that would make They're so expensive, man,
- 3:36Speaker 2: And it's like, but this is the new video game, right,
- 3:40Speaker 2: this is the new video game if you can somehow
- 3:42Speaker 2: figure out a way to make a video game that's
- 3:45Speaker 2: so active that you do work up a sweat. I
- 3:48Speaker 2: feel like, you know, I've seen all of these things
- 3:50Speaker 2: with like the there's this one thing where you put
- 3:53Speaker 2: your iPhone on a plank board and then you plank
- 3:56Speaker 2: and but uh, if you but they put puzzles on
- 3:59Speaker 2: the iPhone so you kind of try you have to
- 4:01Speaker 2: try to make an object travel through the maze or
- 4:05Speaker 2: something like that. I didn't know what. Well, you got
- 4:09Speaker 2: to buy it. But so it's like you're doing it
- 4:12Speaker 2: and your uh, your obliques and everything are getting worked.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And golf simulators are similar to that, because it's almost like,
- 4:19Speaker 2: all right, look, not everybody's going out as much anymore, right,
- 4:25Speaker 2: especially to like the gym. That doesn't really I don't
- 4:28Speaker 2: foresee myself doing that. You know, I have my backyard.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Playing golf is great. My kids are now into golf,
- 4:36Speaker 2: but I can't take them to play eighteen yet because
- 4:38Speaker 2: they're one way too tiny to the people behind us
- 4:42Speaker 2: would be pissed off. So a simulator would be great
- 4:45Speaker 2: because it looks like a video game. They put up targets.
- 4:48Speaker 2: You get a big.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Screen, Do you get VR goggles?
- 4:51Speaker 2: You don't need VR goggles, but it would.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Be cool if they If golf, If this thing you're
- 4:55Speaker 1: talking about entered the world of VR and you can
- 4:58Speaker 1: look around and stuff and place.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I'd be amazing. It's just that equilibrium would fuck kids
- 5:04Speaker 2: up and grown ups up too, like walking into walls,
- 5:08Speaker 2: you know, breaking furniture with your club because you don't
- 5:11Speaker 2: know where you are. All of these things come into play.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Okay, But with uh, I feel like this is the
- 5:16Speaker 1: conversation you're you're repeating the conversation that you said to
- 5:20Speaker 1: your wife to present to her the idea why you
- 5:22Speaker 1: guys need a golf simulator?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Right, And she said, no, I'm trying because I feel
- 5:27Speaker 2: like these I feel.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Like these talking coins have been used before.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But it's the kids could work up a sweat.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Right, And so my kids we saw a commercial for
- 5:36Speaker 2: one on television and my kids were like, oh, that
- 5:40Speaker 2: looks like fun, and I was like, oh, does it
- 5:42Speaker 2: look like fun. And I tried my hardest to pitch
- 5:45Speaker 2: it to my wife and she was like, well, how
- 5:47Speaker 2: much does it cost? And I looked at the price
- 5:49Speaker 2: and she was like, yeah, that's not happening. Well, so,
- 5:52Speaker 2: first of.
- 5:53Speaker 1: All, isn't it good?
- 5:54Speaker 4: Though?
- 5:54Speaker 1: In COVID times when you can't really do anything, I've
- 5:57Speaker 1: seen you hitting balls and with the kids on your
- 6:00Speaker 1: Instagram and so at least you have something. If you
- 6:04Speaker 1: got this, you now have officially nothing to leave the
- 6:06Speaker 1: house for. Now you have the thing where you can
- 6:09Speaker 1: take the kids to the course.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Right yeah, but you only get like an hour really
- 6:13Speaker 2: with them outside. Also, there's a bunch of so to
- 6:17Speaker 2: get good at golf, you need to practice. That's just
- 6:19Speaker 2: how it is. And being outside right now is a
- 6:22Speaker 2: great thing. I can't keep my kids on a golf
- 6:26Speaker 2: course for you know, four or five hours.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They just don't have it in them. I thought you
- 6:30Speaker 1: said that Roco does nine holes. He does.
- 6:32Speaker 2: We do that in about an hour and a half
- 6:33Speaker 2: to two hours after that by the ninth home, I'm.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Surprised he can do it. I mean, I would think
- 6:38Speaker 1: he'd get.
- 6:38Speaker 2: He loves it. He loves golf man, he loves.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It and he can like play like he can, like, let's.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Be honest, he can hit the ball right, and sometimes
- 6:49Speaker 2: he hits the ball and I'm like, holy shit, he's
- 6:52Speaker 2: going to be a pro one day. And then sometimes
- 6:54Speaker 2: he hits the ball and I'm like, okay, he's only six,
- 6:57Speaker 2: you know what I mean, right, But he loves it.
- 7:00Speaker 2: He loves playing it. I'm trying to work with him
- 7:03Speaker 2: on putting like everyone else out there, putting is the
- 7:06Speaker 2: hardest thing in the world. Uh, and he struggles with it,
- 7:09Speaker 2: and I mean it's just interesting to be like, yo,
- 7:12Speaker 2: let's go ride bikes.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now, I don't want to ride bikes.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Okay, let's go play nine holes okay, and he jumps
- 7:19Speaker 2: up like I can name so many other things to
- 7:21Speaker 2: go outside and do.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Well, he's your mini me. You you've successfully build your minime.
- 7:25Speaker 1: He's like, Dad, let's talk about Star Wars, play video games,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and then go play golf.
- 7:29Speaker 5: No.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he's not into Star Wars as much
- 7:31Speaker 2: as he should be, as much as I.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You're still finding ways to be disappointed.
- 7:37Speaker 2: You know. But right now he's really into Minecraft and
- 7:41Speaker 2: that you know that. And because of Minecraft, he's now
- 7:44Speaker 2: into coding and he wants to learn how to code
- 7:46Speaker 2: so he can create his own video game.
- 7:48Speaker 1: That's amazing. I love I love it. But he's like,
- 7:51Speaker 1: there are things for kids to learn how to do
- 7:53Speaker 1: that at their Damn, he's at the perfect and what
- 7:56Speaker 1: does he get for a six year old?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Well, he's at the perfect age right now for this
- 8:00Speaker 2: is when they start introducing it in schools in first grade,
- 8:03Speaker 2: and so now that school is going to be at
- 8:06Speaker 2: home for a bit.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Uh we uh, you know, there must be like a game.
- 8:12Speaker 1: There are a bunch of.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Softwares and apps that he can pick up that teaching.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Minecraft is actually one of them.
- 8:18Speaker 4: I was gonna say, there's Minecraft based programming tools that
- 8:20Speaker 4: you can learn that show you very simply, like here
- 8:23Speaker 4: the connections that's from A to B and what those
- 8:25Speaker 4: connections and like you know binary switch flipping things. That's
- 8:29Speaker 4: it's all built into Minecraft.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It's weird. Do you remember taking Basic in high school?
- 8:33Speaker 1: That's the only that's a programming language, right, That's the
- 8:37Speaker 1: only thing I ever did related was that, like DAWs
- 8:40Speaker 1: and all of that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Ship.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it was learning. It was like if X, then Y.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It was. It was it was not definitely not for.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Me, right, Well, I mean, if you stuck with it,
- 8:50Speaker 2: you were making games by you'd be making games by now.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I want to play golf with the guy that wrote
- 8:56Speaker 2: the script for the Call of Duty game at his
- 9:00Speaker 2: country club, and I was like, holy cow, call a
- 9:03Speaker 2: Duty did this. He's like, yeah, it's a really popular game.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Hit Man two. Start playing. It's scary. I gotta say
- 9:13Speaker 1: it's so. I'm not being a puss. It's just so
- 9:17Speaker 1: realistic that I gotta be honest. At first. I walk
- 9:20Speaker 1: into this house, right starts off. It's a beach house.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Walk in, there's nobody around. I'm like, I'm still, I'm
- 9:26Speaker 1: figuring out how to move around. I'm crouching, I'm walking around.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It's beautiful. The graphics are insane. They say you might
- 9:32Speaker 1: want to shoot out those cameras. I'm like, good idea
- 9:34Speaker 1: computer shoot out the cameras go in the house. There's
- 9:37Speaker 1: dead bodies. Now I'm freaking out. I'm like, oh shit,
- 9:40Speaker 1: there's some dead bodies here. I start walking around the house.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You know, it's skin's obviously built to sort of get
- 9:47Speaker 1: you the feeling.
- 9:48Speaker 2: This is exactly the difference between white people and black
- 9:50Speaker 2: people when they walk into a house in the movies man,
- 9:53Speaker 2: a black person walks in the movies over the credits
- 9:56Speaker 2: roll right then and there we walk in. Oh shit,
- 9:59Speaker 2: there's dead bodies. On turn around, I'm leaving.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Roll.
- 10:05Speaker 2: White person walks in. He's like, oh shit, dead bodies.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I'm freaking out here. I start looking around the house.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I know I'm meant to look around the house.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I'm a hit man, for God's sakes, but I'm a
- 10:17Speaker 1: nervous hitman. I decided that my hitman character is a
- 10:21Speaker 1: little anxious, okay, and so I go in the house.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm looking around and I'm poking. I find this weapons room,
- 10:28Speaker 1: which is exciting. Okay, I just load up. I mean,
- 10:31Speaker 1: it's unrealistic how many weapons I'm carrying, but I just
- 10:33Speaker 1: fill up all my pockets and everything with every weapon
- 10:37Speaker 1: that I can have, and I'm excited. At this point.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm having fun in the game Beautiful Home. I'm looking around.
- 10:42Speaker 1: All of a sudden, the fucking bad guys all come home, right,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and they're like, Okay, you need to kill just this
- 10:50Speaker 1: one guy, don't kill everybody else. Well, I'm trying to hide.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I got nowhere to go. I panic. I kill everybody,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and they're like kill her. No, They're like, don't kill her,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and I was like, well, she came near me. I
- 11:07Speaker 1: got all these weapons. I just killed everybody.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Sounds like a fun game.
- 11:11Speaker 1: No, you know, we're't supposed to do that. Apparently I
- 11:13Speaker 1: panicked and kills everybody. That's probably a good reason not
- 11:18Speaker 1: to have all these weapons in your house because people
- 11:21Speaker 1: came back and I panicked and I killed everybody. But no,
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna get I'm gonna practice. I got nervous. I
- 11:25Speaker 1: got nervous. I got a practice.
- 11:27Speaker 2: You don't really play video games that much.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It's been a long time, you know that we've had
- 11:30Speaker 1: this discussion. But I'm excited about Hitman too, beautiful graphics.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I just I just the vision that I have of
- 11:37Speaker 2: you is you in your underwear with a j in
- 11:41Speaker 2: the ash tray, with the freaking Xbox remote controller. You
- 11:45Speaker 2: don't have on a T shirt. You just have more
- 11:47Speaker 2: tidy whities, and you're sitting on your couch playing video.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Game, playing hit and scared too, scared.
- 11:53Speaker 2: By yourself in the dark, with your new dog, with
- 11:55Speaker 2: your puppy and Roscoe sitting next to you.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I mean, it's kind inaccurate, but it sounds delicious. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: might try that tonight.
- 12:04Speaker 2: All you need is a big Hagen Das ice cream.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Life is perfect.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You're right man on Haggens though, Ben and Jerry's.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That's right, Ben and Jerry's that's right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Well, by the way, Ubi Soft that they sent me
- 12:15Speaker 1: a bunch of games because we were talking about Xbox.
- 12:18Speaker 2: What they send you send you games?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Ubi Soft?
- 12:21Speaker 2: No, you know who didn't send me games? Nintendo? That's
- 12:25Speaker 2: you know. I went to bat for Nintendo Switch. You
- 12:28Speaker 2: know what they did?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Nothing? Well, I don't have the games in front of you,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but you'll be is Ubi Soft? How you say it? Yes? Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: all right, Well I got like Ubi Soft. I guess
- 12:37Speaker 1: listen to the podcast because they sent me like the
- 12:39Speaker 1: mother load. You know they Well, Joel, I see your face,
- 12:43Speaker 1: so you can.
- 12:44Speaker 2: You can borrow PlayStation? Ready to go?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Well, they're for Xbox.
- 12:48Speaker 2: When you need to start talking about your PlayStation?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:51Speaker 2: How much? You so much?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Well? I love, I love, I love all my new
- 12:56Speaker 1: Ubi Soft games. And you begin in the show. It's
- 12:59Speaker 1: a very sexual one. It's about ken two people be
- 13:03Speaker 1: sex buddies.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Oh you want to do the recap to five six
- 13:07Speaker 2: seven stories.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That show we made about a bundle of tops and nurses.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Said, here's the stories, natral no so YadA rare yead here.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But I wasn't trying to steal your recap, Thunder, don't
- 13:33Speaker 1: do the recap. I was just sitting here while I
- 13:36Speaker 1: was waiting to get on the podcast, thinking ken too.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That's the central central tenet of Look at that he
- 13:45Speaker 1: wrote it down on a card. It's like he did
- 13:47Speaker 1: homework and ship. God, you're impressive, not as impressive as
- 13:52Speaker 1: you are. That's true because listen.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I've seen you naked, Yeah you have.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I look pretty good naked. I think actually in this episode,
- 14:03Speaker 1: you see me naked. I mean, you know what you're
- 14:05Speaker 1: talking about. Yeah, That's what I'm talking about. And then
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm very thin. I don't have any pectorals mangers. But
- 14:10Speaker 1: my you know that was I was gonna say this.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You're like, you're like, uh thin, but you hadn't started
- 14:16Speaker 2: lifting weights yet.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm more muscular now, but now you're like, I'm
- 14:20Speaker 1: at least thin, and I have nice areolas, they're not
- 14:22Speaker 1: too big. Well, now we're gonna we're gonna ask the question,
- 14:27Speaker 1: Daniel Joelle, do you think it's possible?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Well, you got to ask the question first.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Ten two people, Yeah, two people. Can two human beings
- 14:38Speaker 1: be sex buddies without someone catching feelings and starting to
- 14:44Speaker 1: feel more than just casual about it.
- 14:46Speaker 2: It's impossible.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Do you want to take It's not possible.
- 14:52Speaker 5: It's totally possible for the right two people.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I was like, the time someone's gonna say nine point
- 14:59Speaker 2: nine percent of the time, I would not even give
- 15:01Speaker 2: it a ten percent of a chance of happening. Joel,
- 15:04Speaker 2: that's almost impossible.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Let her finish her finish.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Like, I'm sorry, it's like freaking uh pure purel. Ninety
- 15:14Speaker 2: nine point nine percent of that bacteria is gone.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Dude, I'm sorry, finish your answer.
- 15:19Speaker 5: I've definitely seen people just have the kind of relationship
- 15:23Speaker 5: where they could just get together, high five and walk away,
- 15:25Speaker 5: and I think that it's awesome. I don't think most
- 15:28Speaker 5: people can do it, but I think the two people
- 15:30Speaker 5: who understand each other, who are on the same like basis,
- 15:32Speaker 5: who don't want to be in relationships but like enjoy
- 15:35Speaker 5: sexual intercourse, they can do that. Most people know.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Okay, Danel, I agree with Joelle.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I mean, I think you know, nowadays communication is such
- 15:44Speaker 4: that people are much more open to the conversation. When
- 15:46Speaker 4: I think before people would have been like, uh, maybe
- 15:50Speaker 4: straight away from the idea that like, well, once we're
- 15:52Speaker 4: having sex, we at least have to talk about it.
- 15:54Speaker 4: I think, you know, at this point, people are way
- 15:56Speaker 4: more open to the conversation of maybe we're not looking
- 15:59Speaker 4: for that kind of thing right now. In casual sex
- 16:01Speaker 4: is much more you know, socially acceptable option.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But the longer I'm just saying this, guys, the longer
- 16:07Speaker 2: it continues, the harder it is for it the lines
- 16:11Speaker 2: not to get blurred. It's ill possible. Think, yeah, sure,
- 16:14Speaker 2: if we did it once once or twice and walked away, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 2: and then maybe a month or two later we did
- 16:20Speaker 2: it again, yeah, sure, and then you know it was
- 16:22Speaker 2: like that. But if you're doing it the way they
- 16:24Speaker 2: were doing it, there's no way.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I agree. I agree. I think the casual once in
- 16:30Speaker 1: a while hookup is not what we're talking about. We're
- 16:31Speaker 1: talking about people that are like legit only hooking up
- 16:34Speaker 1: with each other and trying to keep it just sex.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I don't think it's possible. I think someone one of
- 16:42Speaker 1: those two people is going to catch feelings. As the
- 16:45Speaker 1: kids said, let's take a break, we'll be right back
- 16:48Speaker 1: after these fine words.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Let's get out the timer then, and oh yes, let's
- 16:59Speaker 2: hear this.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I don't want you to try and take off the
- 17:04Speaker 1: you know, my brief summary of the discussion from your time.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Here we go and go.
- 17:11Speaker 2: This episode's called My Sex Buddy, but I really feel
- 17:14Speaker 2: like it should be called blurred Lines. Carla loves the
- 17:16Speaker 2: way it makes her feel when her patients like her.
- 17:20Speaker 2: She warned. She's warned by Kelso that her feelings could
- 17:23Speaker 2: impair her judgment and to check them. JD and Elliott
- 17:26Speaker 2: are feeling the pressure from work, and to alleviate the pressure,
- 17:29Speaker 2: they become sex buddies. Turk warns JD that becoming sex
- 17:32Speaker 2: buddies with someone leads down the same path for everyone. Eventually,
- 17:37Speaker 2: the lines get blurred.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Nice blurred lines. That is true, well said. It is
- 17:46Speaker 1: about I like how you always tease out the central
- 17:49Speaker 1: the central theme. Well done, Thank you, well done. Judy
- 17:54Speaker 1: had a big role in this episode. She what would
- 17:59Speaker 1: you say? She she what's going on with her? She
- 18:02Speaker 1: wants to be the one that gives patients the good news,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but she's overstepping her bounds a bit.
- 18:07Speaker 2: No, I would say that the problem that Carla runs
- 18:10Speaker 2: into at the hospital this episode is that she's she
- 18:13Speaker 2: loves being liked by all of her patients. That's her
- 18:17Speaker 2: and it's and it's kind of a mislead in the
- 18:19Speaker 2: episode too, where you think that the the flip is
- 18:23Speaker 2: that Carla loves to be liked and and and is
- 18:27Speaker 2: getting all the love and Elliott loves to be liked
- 18:29Speaker 2: and isn't getting any love whatsoever. But then it turns
- 18:32Speaker 2: out that she's been sabbage. Elliott's been sabotage. But uh,
- 18:35Speaker 2: Carla loves the fact that all of her patients are like,
- 18:39Speaker 2: you know, what do you think? And you know they
- 18:42Speaker 2: look to her for advice and everything like that because
- 18:45Speaker 2: she's liked by them. And Kelso warns her like, look, man,
- 18:49Speaker 2: that's great, but you're yearning to be loved by everyone
- 18:55Speaker 2: can get in the way of you making the right decision.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So is it right for this dude to go home? Sure? Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 2: he could totally go home right now, but his oxygen
- 19:06Speaker 2: level is a little low and that could lead to
- 19:11Speaker 2: a problem later on. Are you sure that he should
- 19:15Speaker 2: go home even though you want to be liked, even
- 19:18Speaker 2: though you told him he could go home, and you
- 19:20Speaker 2: want to be liked by him, so by you know,
- 19:23Speaker 2: and that that's a problem, man, that's a problem for anyone.
- 19:26Speaker 2: If you want to be like you're gonna wind up
- 19:28Speaker 2: doing things that you don't want to, like helping somebody
- 19:30Speaker 2: move or driving them to the airport, or doing dumb
- 19:33Speaker 2: shit like that just because you want to be liked. Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 2: kiss my ass, man, drive your ass to the air.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I don't know why I feel.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I don't know where I'm going.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't know what I feel about taking I'm very I.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Told you how I feel about it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm very against it.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I told you how I feel about it. But no,
- 19:51Speaker 2: but no, but sincerely, that's what this is about. It's
- 19:54Speaker 2: about Karla trying to you know, she loves the feeling of,
- 19:59Speaker 2: you know, everyone liking her and her being able to
- 20:01Speaker 2: give information to people and them taking it, you know
- 20:04Speaker 2: at value. That's great information. Thank you, Carla, because it's
- 20:07Speaker 2: from you. I appreciate it.
- 20:09Speaker 1: HM. Well. At forty five seconds in, Elliott mentions that
- 20:14Speaker 1: something JD did was very unique. It was some sort
- 20:17Speaker 1: of new sexual position that she really really enjoyed, and
- 20:21Speaker 1: then we flashed to JD taking copious notes watching Animal Planet.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Right and and and and Turk enjoying it as well. Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 2: watching with j D and enjoying.
- 20:33Speaker 1: He says, did that monkey just bite that other monkey
- 20:36Speaker 1: on the ass? And I don't know, but she seems to.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Like it, and we're nodding looking at.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so we can I think we can assume that
- 20:44Speaker 1: whatever sexual position Elliott was enjoying and involved some ass play, yes,
- 20:49Speaker 1: being bit ass biting. I meant asked as cheek nibbling,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Do you do you do you? What do you want to?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Don't answer that question. It's either gonna be It's either
- 21:02Speaker 1: gonna be do I like to nibble on asses? Or
- 21:04Speaker 1: do I like my ass nibbled on? And I'm not
- 21:06Speaker 1: going to answer either one.
- 21:08Speaker 2: You don't want to go either way with the conversation.
- 21:10Speaker 1: No, let's talk about being Wonder Twins. I was realizing
- 21:13Speaker 1: that you and I are looking for an entry into
- 21:16Speaker 1: this whole superhero world. Why can't we be the Wonder Twins?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Because they're lame, so lame. No, the Wonder Twins are
- 21:26Speaker 2: the lamest characters ever pushed on the youth.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Four one degree.
- 21:32Speaker 2: One can form an animal and the other can form.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Water and ice, well and ice things.
- 21:38Speaker 2: That's water?
- 21:39Speaker 1: What what universe were they a part of? It was
- 21:42Speaker 1: the super Friends? Did you used to watch this? It
- 21:44Speaker 1: was DC.
- 21:45Speaker 2: It was the DC universe. But they were they I
- 21:48Speaker 2: don't think they were from this planet though they had
- 21:50Speaker 2: weird ears.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Joelle, can you do a little recon for us on
- 21:54Speaker 1: the orangin story of the Wonder Twins because we bring
- 21:57Speaker 1: them up a few times on Scrubs. I know that.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I want to say for my an Ice Manora.
- 22:02Speaker 2: They're the lamest superheroes ever. Like it was like it was, Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 2: they're only good for like putting out fires in the
- 22:09Speaker 2: on the show. On the show, that's it, dude, think
- 22:11Speaker 2: about it.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Look what was that show? Meanwhile, meanwhile, the Hall of Justice?
- 22:17Speaker 1: What was that?
- 22:18Speaker 2: That's really Justice? That's the that's the Justice, the Justice League.
- 22:22Speaker 1: The original when we were yea, when we were growing up,
- 22:24Speaker 1: that's what it was called, the Justice League.
- 22:25Speaker 2: No, it was Justice Friends or something like that.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Meanwhile, at the Whole of Justice, do you remember that? Yeah? No, no,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I do remember that. I would like to find that
- 22:33Speaker 1: cartoon and watch it again.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I need to know sol on iTunes.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Okay, you should show that to your kids. That's what
- 22:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna do.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Not into that ship. Look man, First of all, the
- 22:42Speaker 2: animation from all of these shows when I was growing
- 22:45Speaker 2: up aren't really that dope anymore. Like I tried to
- 22:47Speaker 2: show them G I, Joe and Transformers when I was
- 22:50Speaker 2: a kid, That shit looked dope. My son's like, why
- 22:53Speaker 2: does it look like that? It's not matching? Really Like it's.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Okay, it's Hannah Barbara, Hannah Barbara, that's what we were
- 22:59Speaker 1: looking for. But that's DC universe. The Twins were created
- 23:03Speaker 1: by Norman Maurer the super Friends series. That's what it was,
- 23:06Speaker 1: The super Friends, super Friends Okay. They were originally called
- 23:10Speaker 1: Dick and Jane and their sidekick was Mighty Monkey. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: Mighty Monkey. Well listen, I think when I have kids,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and I'm sure parents listening have tried this to some
- 23:20Speaker 1: success and some not. But I feel like I would like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: if I'm gonna have to watch my kid watch a cartoon,
- 23:26Speaker 1: to pull up some of my favorites from when I
- 23:28Speaker 1: was a kid, like like Hannah Barbera or I did
- 23:31Speaker 1: pull up one. What what about Flintstones? Can you watch
- 23:34Speaker 1: Flintstones with your kids? And I didn't pull that up.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I pulled up jetsonem. I pulled up Jem. Did they
- 23:38Speaker 1: like Jam?
- 23:39Speaker 2: She's truly outrageous, truly truly, truly outrageous. They watched it
- 23:44Speaker 2: and they loved it. You know what the thing about
- 23:46Speaker 2: JAM is, it's the music, man, It's the music because
- 23:48Speaker 2: it's made by the same people who create its transformers
- 23:51Speaker 2: and Gi Joe and stuff like that. So it's the
- 23:52Speaker 2: same type of animation, but it's music and some of
- 23:55Speaker 2: the and the songs in it are freaking banging, dude.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:00Speaker 2: So I was able to get through like half of
- 24:02Speaker 2: the seasons as long as can be, But I was
- 24:05Speaker 2: able to get through half of season one one day
- 24:08Speaker 2: with the kids, and we didn't watch it. We just
- 24:10Speaker 2: kept it on and the music would play, and then
- 24:13Speaker 2: we turn and listen to the music and watch the
- 24:14Speaker 2: music video.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So both kids like the songs. Yeah. What about Josie
- 24:19Speaker 1: and the Pussycats? Great great movie? Great movie?
- 24:23Speaker 2: You know, nobody rocks to mic like Djore. What about
- 24:28Speaker 2: Right on Your Motorbikes with Dajore? I really like the
- 24:31Speaker 2: Jetsons kicking it in the bins with Dijore?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Is that your your cameo?
- 24:35Speaker 2: And people around the world they wish they could be
- 24:39Speaker 2: friends with dij.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Your don't you guys die or something? No, we live?
- 24:46Speaker 1: What's the movie you're in where you're in a that
- 24:48Speaker 1: would be see that.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry to cut you off. This is the last one.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I won't do this again.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't. That would be a good movie.
- 24:53Speaker 2: To come out. The Dajore reunion. Backstreet's going on tour,
- 24:58Speaker 2: New Additions going on on tour. All these major bands
- 25:02Speaker 2: from back in the day.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Are going on tour.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Djoor should go on tour and see if they could
- 25:07Speaker 2: rekindle the light that they had when they were popping.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Who Dale, who was in your bandor it was.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Me, Alex Martin, Seth Green and Brecken Meyer and Alan
- 25:21Speaker 2: Cumming was our manager.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Isn't there something a plane crash?
- 25:26Speaker 2: There is, but we survived.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Oh you survived? What do you parachute out or something?
- 25:30Speaker 2: No, Alan Cumming and the pilot parachute out and we crash.
- 25:34Speaker 2: And this is how Joe's We're the reasons why Josie
- 25:36Speaker 2: and the Pussycats were found.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's because of us, Djore. Okay, I did see that one.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I gotta rewatch it anyway. I was just thinking that
- 25:44Speaker 1: we could pitch to UH to DC. Hannah Barbera that
- 25:47Speaker 1: you and I are the Wonder Twins, but you don't
- 25:49Speaker 1: seem for it.
- 25:50Speaker 2: If they could figure out a way to make the
- 25:52Speaker 2: Wonder Twins dope, I would totally be down.
- 25:55Speaker 1: All right? Do you want to be the person who
- 25:56Speaker 1: can make an animal or the person who can make
- 25:57Speaker 1: ice things?
- 25:59Speaker 2: S I think the person who can make ice is
- 26:01Speaker 2: probably the one that gets to do the dope things,
- 26:04Speaker 2: you know what?
- 26:05Speaker 1: I yeah, because you can't make ice anything. I mean,
- 26:07Speaker 1: if it's good ice, right right, you can make a
- 26:12Speaker 1: fu an ice airplane form of an ice airplane.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Right, I mean, unless you know animals from other planets
- 26:18Speaker 2: and stuff like that, you can't really like, what's the
- 26:22Speaker 2: biggest animal you can make that you've seen in real life?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Like whale? But that's not really helpful.
- 26:27Speaker 2: What are you gonna Well, I'd have to be the
- 26:29Speaker 2: lake that you swim.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Form of a lake and then yeah, and then I'd
- 26:32Speaker 1: be like shape of a big as whale. How is
- 26:34Speaker 1: to hurt anybody?
- 26:36Speaker 2: And then we just and then we just sit and swim.
- 26:38Speaker 1: That's such a bullshit. Power They're like, hell, we need
- 26:41Speaker 1: so and so is invading the bank. We need you guys,
- 26:43Speaker 1: stat Okay, form of a lake, shape of a killer whale.
- 26:47Speaker 1: What the fuck are you gonna do? Dude?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Now you're making my argument. Now you're making my argument.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I know, I'm just listening. I don't know much about
- 26:55Speaker 1: this old superhero world. I'm just I happened in this
- 26:58Speaker 1: episode to stumble across two superheroes that haven't yet been
- 27:01Speaker 1: turned into a movie, and I thought it might be
- 27:03Speaker 1: our ticket in.
- 27:05Speaker 2: That would be the word I could see the audience.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Now they're making a wonder Twins movie.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, listen. The only thing that people go to the
- 27:12Speaker 1: movie theaters when not in COVID times to see anymore,
- 27:15Speaker 1: let's be honest, is Marvel. Okay, well, Star Wars, you know,
- 27:20Speaker 1: the big epic, sweeping movies that you love to go.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I have a feeling this freaking and we're getting back
- 27:25Speaker 2: on it. Is this Snyder cut is gonna do? So Apparently,
- 27:29Speaker 2: what I've learned is that.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Just to give a little bit of intro for people
- 27:35Speaker 1: that give zero funck. So there was there was a
- 27:38Speaker 1: movie came out that was just like.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Movie starring ben at Actually I thought it was the
- 27:43Speaker 2: best one out of the out of all of the the.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Uh, look at you Weelle's face.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Out of all the out of all of the hold On,
- 27:51Speaker 2: out of all of the DC movies that came out
- 27:53Speaker 2: other than Wonder Woman, the Justice League movie is the
- 27:57Speaker 2: better one. So and I don't mean I don't mean
- 27:59Speaker 2: when I was a kid Richard Donner's Superman, and I
- 28:01Speaker 2: don't mean Batman begins, and I don't mean that stuff
- 28:05Speaker 2: I'm talking about with Ben Affleck. I think Justice League
- 28:08Speaker 2: is one of the better ones. Anyway, So they made
- 28:11Speaker 2: a Justice League movie and halfway through it, Snyder has
- 28:14Speaker 2: to drop.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Out and family problem, right.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Josh
- 28:23Speaker 2: Whedon took off.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And the fans don't like Joss Whedon. Everybody loved Joss
- 28:26Speaker 1: Whedon did the first Avengers. It's okayat so then why
- 28:29Speaker 1: did they hate Joss Whedon's version.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Nobody hated Joss Whedon's version. It was just it came
- 28:35Speaker 2: out and Josh Whedon made some corrections and then the
- 28:39Speaker 2: movie came out.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Right.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Snyder apparently shot four hours of a movie and had
- 28:48Speaker 2: to back out of it, and when he backed out,
- 28:50Speaker 2: they changed the story around and made what we saw
- 28:55Speaker 2: in the theaters. So apparently there's like four hours of
- 28:58Speaker 2: footage that nobody's ever seen.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Oh so he's gonna cut, He's gonna do he.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Can go in there and cut in the story that
- 29:04Speaker 2: he wanted to tell with the special effects that he wanted.
- 29:07Speaker 1: To use, and they're doing that. Apparently they are. And
- 29:09Speaker 1: are you guys all excited about this? Joelle? Is this
- 29:12Speaker 1: bringing joy to your life?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Joel's not even there.
- 29:17Speaker 5: I'm here, sorry, guys. My internet is coming in and out.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, funny if Joelle like went and did other things,
- 29:23Speaker 1: but she put like a cardboard cutout, Yeah, that's it
- 29:29Speaker 1: looks like that's what you did, Joelle. It looks like
- 29:31Speaker 1: you're like, fires will never know. I'm gonna go do
- 29:33Speaker 1: my mom.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Oh wish. I think they said they were gonna do
- 29:40Speaker 5: something like twenty million dollars to have to redo like
- 29:44Speaker 5: editing special effects. Like how many movies could you make
- 29:48Speaker 5: that I haven't already seen. I know people are hyped
- 29:51Speaker 5: because they love Snyder and that's you know, I'm a
- 29:55Speaker 5: huge sucker punch stand. I will defend that movie. It's
- 29:58Speaker 5: my hill that I'll die on.
- 30:01Speaker 2: You'll die on a soccer punch.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I love soccer punch Okay, it gives you all the archetypes.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yo, dude, it's a lot of hot girls kicking ass.
- 30:12Speaker 1: What more do you need.
- 30:13Speaker 2: From a movie?
- 30:14Speaker 1: These girls? Who are they.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Browning from? H?
- 30:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 30:25Speaker 5: Just great to Snider Fields. I can't I get like
- 30:26Speaker 5: the Zack Snyder love. I just don't think you know,
- 30:30Speaker 5: for as many young people or or not even necessarily young,
- 30:33Speaker 5: but like unknown people trying to make these really great movies.
- 30:36Speaker 5: As a script reader for a while, so I really
- 30:38Speaker 5: like a ton of like amazing script for like I
- 30:40Speaker 5: really want to see this movie, and they can't get
- 30:41Speaker 5: in inchwise, and it's like we can make like six
- 30:45Speaker 5: movies off of the budget we're doing to remake a
- 30:47Speaker 5: movie we've already seen.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I just feel like the superhero appetite is insatiable on
- 30:54Speaker 1: planet Earth. People can't get enough.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Well, think about it, look at look at what we
- 30:58Speaker 2: look at. We grew up reading comic books and imagined
- 31:02Speaker 2: if what we see in this comic book, if I
- 31:04Speaker 2: could see this on film, if I could see this
- 31:06Speaker 2: in real life, I would this would be amazing. I
- 31:09Speaker 2: remember when I was a kid looking at comics and
- 31:11Speaker 2: being like they're better than the movies because the visual
- 31:14Speaker 2: that just the picture that they're showing me alone is
- 31:17Speaker 2: way better than the special effects. The special effects have
- 31:20Speaker 2: surpassed what we visualize in comics now, and so all
- 31:26Speaker 2: of my fantasies as a youth are now being thrown
- 31:30Speaker 2: on screen.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Buck.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, superheroes are gonna be around for a while. Man,
- 31:34Speaker 2: It's what we've been waiting for. We've been waiting for
- 31:36Speaker 2: this forever, and the closest thing to it was Star Wars.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You know what I mean. The special effects has made
- 31:44Speaker 2: it so that, Yo, we're going too far for Star
- 31:46Speaker 2: Wars now, you know what I mean. We got to
- 31:48Speaker 2: scale back now for people to enjoy Star Wars.
- 31:51Speaker 1: People on their Bengo cards, make sure you cover Donald
- 31:54Speaker 1: talks about Star Wars. I'll be covering Donald's talks. It
- 31:58Speaker 1: psych announce saying a Bingo card be one. It's like
- 32:01Speaker 1: Donald talks about Star Wars, Donald talks.
- 32:04Speaker 2: All right, let's get back into that episode.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Then.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Wait, I want to give a recommendation for those of
- 32:07Speaker 1: you listening who go, oh fuck, I so don't care
- 32:09Speaker 1: about superheroes. I saw a movie called Moon, just Moon,
- 32:15Speaker 1: Sam Rockwell, really good film. Okay, so you write that
- 32:20Speaker 1: down if you don't want to watch a four hour
- 32:22Speaker 1: DC movie. Moon. And the other show I'm really liking,
- 32:25Speaker 1: although I don't know if I'm in the target audience,
- 32:28Speaker 1: is Anna Kendrick's show on HBO Max called Love Life.
- 32:33Speaker 1: It's a very interesting premise. It just takes I imagine
- 32:36Speaker 1: she's just did one season, but it takes a character
- 32:38Speaker 1: and it talks about like the ten significant relationships she
- 32:43Speaker 1: had in her life. And each episode is a different
- 32:46Speaker 1: one of those. So one might be a one night
- 32:48Speaker 1: stand or one might be a true love. But they're like,
- 32:51Speaker 1: really really well done. So those are my two recommendations
- 32:55Speaker 1: of the week, love Life on HBO Max and Moon
- 33:00Speaker 1: with Sam Rockwell, should we get back to the episode?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, because I almost fell asleep.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, Jesus, I'm gonna do my impression of you.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And then Jack Snyder like out of breath its head
- 33:16Speaker 1: with him.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I got a problem, motherfucker. I got a spit problem. Okay.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Oh I just thought it was like you start salivating
- 33:21Speaker 1: when you think about LATEX.
- 33:23Speaker 2: No, I produce a lot of spit in my mouth
- 33:25Speaker 2: when I talk. I can't.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Maybe there's a pill for that.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I don't want it. Okay, it was funny.
- 33:30Speaker 1: When the guy says, we're wondering about circumcision, and JD goes, well,
- 33:33Speaker 1: you're a little old.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Let's get into let's talk about that cut or uncut.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Well, I'm a member of the tribe, so I am cut.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It was a part of our right of passage. I
- 33:46Speaker 1: realized that these days there's a lot of people that
- 33:48Speaker 1: are against it, on on on, all and for. It's
- 33:51Speaker 1: a big debate.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Carla is not for it.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Well, this was how many This was eighteen years ago people,
- 33:57Speaker 1: or nineteen years ago, people are are argubating it. I
- 34:00Speaker 1: imagine it's less and less popular now. I think the
- 34:04Speaker 1: penis looks nice with cut off. But I mean, I
- 34:07Speaker 1: I guess that's no reason to do it. What do
- 34:10Speaker 1: you think you're not cut?
- 34:12Speaker 2: I am not cut, and.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Your and your sons aren't cut.
- 34:16Speaker 2: My boy is cut, all my kids are cutt except.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Now is that just obviously that was an aesthetic choice.
- 34:24Speaker 2: It wasn't my choice. If it were up to me,
- 34:27Speaker 2: I would not cut.
- 34:29Speaker 1: We know, we know Daniel's cut because he's a member
- 34:32Speaker 1: of the tribe. M O T.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Hello, do you have to be to be a member
- 34:39Speaker 2: of the tribe?
- 34:40Speaker 1: No? But I mean like it's have you ever.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Met someone who was a member of the tribe and
- 34:44Speaker 2: was not cut? No, if you exist out there, we
- 34:49Speaker 2: would love to hear from you.
- 34:50Speaker 1: We'll give you, We'll give you a palette.
- 34:55Speaker 2: If you can prove to us that to us, how
- 34:58Speaker 2: they improve. Okay, well you are a Jewish man and are.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I know I would like to not turn my key
- 35:06Speaker 1: for this contest.
- 35:07Speaker 2: What turn your key, sir?
- 35:09Speaker 1: No, I will not turn my key for this contest.
- 35:12Speaker 1: We're in search here in fake doctor's real friends, We're
- 35:14Speaker 1: in search of me Jewish uncut man. Please send pictures
- 35:18Speaker 1: of your ant eater. I guess the big debate, you know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: religious customs aside is is that it's just an aesthetic choice. Now.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Back in the day it was sort of a health
- 35:41Speaker 1: cleanliness thing, and then it became a tradition for the
- 35:44Speaker 1: Jewish people. But people are I guess more and more
- 35:47Speaker 1: saying why are you doing that to a newborn baby? Right?
- 35:51Speaker 2: Well, there accidents that can happen. I'm sure there are
- 35:53Speaker 2: people that have lost you know.
- 35:56Speaker 1: My very first show I was ever in was a
- 35:58Speaker 1: pilot for CBS with Gwyneth Paltrow. It was her first
- 36:02Speaker 1: job at my first job. And their subplot of it
- 36:05Speaker 1: was a horny high school quarterback had to have his
- 36:09Speaker 1: botched circumcision fixed and he couldn't get an erection for
- 36:14Speaker 1: seven days. That was his storyline in the pilot. Holy
- 36:18Speaker 1: and his girlfriend was Gwyneth Paltrow, and they and because
- 36:23Speaker 1: she was the captain of the cheerleader team and he
- 36:24Speaker 1: was the captain football team.
- 36:26Speaker 2: You played the captain of the football team.
- 36:27Speaker 1: No, I wish do you think I was the captain
- 36:29Speaker 1: of the football team. I was just wondering, Was I
- 36:32Speaker 1: was the nerdy freshman, the brother I was? I was
- 36:39Speaker 1: I was brother to like the bad kid who was
- 36:42Speaker 1: threatening to kill himself. Got it and got it. And
- 36:47Speaker 1: so in the show the World of the high School
- 36:50Speaker 1: Big pep Rally and the mascot's gonna come out of
- 36:54Speaker 1: two person mascot and the captain and of the cheerleaders
- 36:57Speaker 1: and the captain football You're gonna jump out of the
- 36:59Speaker 1: mascots together. It was us in the costume, but Granith's
- 37:03Speaker 1: in the front and he's in the back, and he's
- 37:07Speaker 1: got to bury his face into Gwyneth's butt, and he
- 37:11Speaker 1: can't keep his shit together because his stitches are gonna
- 37:15Speaker 1: rip this.
- 37:17Speaker 2: This show didn't go I know, this show didn't.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Know it was really good. Though, it was really good.
- 37:24Speaker 1: It was too controversial even for its day. This was
- 37:29Speaker 1: I was fourteen years old. This was so long ago
- 37:31Speaker 1: and it was so controversial. Wow, it was like, can
- 37:34Speaker 1: be really sexy. It was the same year Nino two
- 37:36Speaker 1: No came out, by the way, and where nin two
- 37:38Speaker 1: and oh is being like the glossy Beverly Hills rich
- 37:41Speaker 1: kid show. We were trying to be like the edgy
- 37:44Speaker 1: Jersey you know, high school show and they were way
- 37:48Speaker 1: too edgy for CBS even at the time. It was great,
- 37:51Speaker 1: good though.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I noticed my people on the Fritz made a little callback.
- 37:55Speaker 2: They had a little callback from episode before.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Yeah, my peep was on the Fritz and that comes up.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Uh and then your pratfall over the couch.
- 38:02Speaker 1: That was great, wasn't it. Fuck, dude, the man does
- 38:05Speaker 1: the man does a nice fall. You got you do a.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Great pratfall man. We got to talk about this every
- 38:09Speaker 2: time you do it, because you ever since the bricks
- 38:12Speaker 2: fell on your head and you flinched, you have gone
- 38:15Speaker 2: on to become a great pratfaller.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Thank you. That's a big comment. To me, And I
- 38:19Speaker 1: want anyone listening who enjoys my pratfalls to know that
- 38:22Speaker 1: every time my back aches at forty five, I think
- 38:24Speaker 1: of you all and hopefully I brought you some humor
- 38:27Speaker 1: over the years.
- 38:27Speaker 2: How many injuries from pratfalls.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm just back issues because of hitting walls and falling
- 38:33Speaker 1: for for nine years. But you know, I do it
- 38:36Speaker 1: for the people. Donald, I'll do anything to make the
- 38:40Speaker 1: world laugh.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Also, Sarah Chalk very sexy.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Very sexy, and very seductive, very very Yeah. I mean.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I did not know.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Listen, man, h she says, bite me.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I did not know. And maybe because I was
- 38:59Speaker 2: just focused on myself. But Sarah is and we talk
- 39:01Speaker 2: about this all the time, but Sarah's really good. Elliott
- 39:05Speaker 2: Reid is one of my favorite characters in our show now,
- 39:10Speaker 2: like I look forward to her storylines. Sarah played them
- 39:14Speaker 2: so well. She's so good on this show.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Yeah, she really did, She really did, and she's so funny.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I agree with you, Donald, I'm looking back again. There's
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lot of things when you look back at the show.
- 39:24Speaker 1: And I was so focused on me. I was so
- 39:26Speaker 1: you know, I had blinders on. I wasn't always looking
- 39:29Speaker 1: at everyone's character arcs. Now this many years later, you
- 39:31Speaker 1: go back and you watch it and you go at
- 39:33Speaker 1: the same reaction. I'm like, wow, Elliott's really funny character,
- 39:36Speaker 1: really interesting. So many differ layers we learned. She's a Republicpublican,
- 39:40Speaker 1: she's a closetive Republican.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Well, I think Republicans. A lot of Republicans are still
- 39:44Speaker 2: closet Republicans. Like, a lot of your friends are Republicans
- 39:47Speaker 2: and you don't know that, Jo.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure they say that. They say that's why
- 39:50Speaker 1: all the polls were off, because people don't want to
- 39:52Speaker 1: admit that that they're voted for Trump. But that's real talk, man,
- 39:55Speaker 1: That's why the polls are inaccurate.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Face. That's one thing Facebook did and Instant Graham and
- 40:00Speaker 2: Twitter did. They exposed all of these people who had
- 40:03Speaker 2: been keeping their uh, their uh their their Republicans, their
- 40:07Speaker 2: allegiance secret. Well, it's.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Funny. Even nineteen years ago, She's like, don't tell anyone
- 40:14Speaker 1: I'm a Republican.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I say, Republicans, stand up, be proud, be loud, no
- 40:22Speaker 2: be do your thing.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Maybe find maybe find maybe find a sane human being
- 40:27Speaker 1: to be your candidate, saying a sane person, and then
- 40:31Speaker 1: and then, and then, and then be loud and proud,
- 40:33Speaker 1: but just at least have the guy be a person
- 40:35Speaker 1: who has a functioning brain. By the way, did you
- 40:37Speaker 1: hear what he said today? He mispronounced Yosemite. He was
- 40:40Speaker 1: giving a speech. Now, for those who don't know, Semite
- 40:43Speaker 1: is a is a term for Jewish people, uh Semitic.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Thus the anti Semitic would be anti jew so semite,
- 40:52Speaker 1: and he pronounced yosemite. He was reading a speech off
- 40:55Speaker 1: a prompter that I'm sure he had never looked at
- 40:57Speaker 1: as yo Semite, and trending on Twitter was yo Semite.
- 41:02Speaker 1: And I thought it was really funny because it's like.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Yo, yo yo, my Semites come here now, So that
- 41:08Speaker 2: means he's saying, yo yo yo, my Jewish people, what's up?
- 41:13Speaker 5: No.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Twitter turned it into that it was kind of funny,
- 41:15Speaker 1: But yeah, he said yo semite instead of Yosemite. But
- 41:18Speaker 1: yo Semite is funny, you know, Dan yo Semite.
- 41:24Speaker 2: That's I think that's how all Jewish people should freaking
- 41:27Speaker 2: greet each other from from here on out.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Yo Semite, where all my Semites at, where my Semites
- 41:33Speaker 1: at yo can get.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Can I get in trouble for saying semite.
- 41:37Speaker 1: No, it's not, it's not an it's not a derogatory term. Okay,
- 41:42Speaker 1: but it's just funny that I would like I would I.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I mean, I if you're a republican, Republican, everyone do
- 41:47Speaker 1: their own thing. I I personally think that the president
- 41:49Speaker 1: should be able to read.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I I I want to take yeah. I
- 41:54Speaker 2: don't think. Whatever you whatever you believe, whatever you follow whatever,
- 41:58Speaker 2: that's it's all with me. As long as you don't
- 42:00Speaker 2: disrespect nobody. It just gets to the point where you know,
- 42:04Speaker 2: I just want somebody in there that's for the people,
- 42:06Speaker 2: all the people. And I know that's hard to do.
- 42:09Speaker 2: And I think we're at a point right now where
- 42:11Speaker 2: we have somebody in there that's for a certain amount
- 42:13Speaker 2: of people, and that's it.
- 42:15Speaker 1: You don't be a good ring notification yo, semi no
- 42:21Speaker 1: no hey. But speaking of that huge, huge amount of
- 42:26Speaker 1: love for the new ringtone that I want to remind
- 42:29Speaker 1: you is available to remind you and your friends about
- 42:32Speaker 1: how much you love the show, the hugely popular what
- 42:35Speaker 1: you're trying to get into, what you're trying to do.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw the remixes. Donald, people
- 42:41Speaker 1: are remixing it. By the way, I'm.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Gonna be honest with you, man, I was hoping for
- 42:45Speaker 2: like a remix from like somebody who was going to
- 42:49Speaker 2: remix it.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Dope. Well I spoke to Andrew Watt. Even Andrew Watt
- 42:54Speaker 1: is right. No, Andrew Watt is a very fancy producer.
- 42:58Speaker 1: He produces, I mean everything from Ozzie to Bieber to
- 43:03Speaker 1: post Malone. So he wrote Havana naa right, da da da.
- 43:09Speaker 1: He's a huge I do like I do like that
- 43:12Speaker 1: post Malone all right, Well, he's huge. He's like, like
- 43:16Speaker 1: the biggest, one of the biggest producers in music right now.
- 43:19Speaker 1: And I'm friends with him, and I said, I played
- 43:21Speaker 1: it for him and he really I said, look, I
- 43:23Speaker 1: know you write a lot of fire hooks, but listen
- 43:25Speaker 1: to this a Dayishune song. Bullshit, I swear to God.
- 43:29Speaker 1: And what do you say? He said, that's fucking fire
- 43:31Speaker 1: and Bill and Bill was singing it because Bill was
- 43:35Speaker 1: on the same call, and Bill was singing it, and
- 43:38Speaker 1: then Bill was like, and and Andrew's like, yeah, it's hooky.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I get it. I get it. So my point is
- 43:43Speaker 1: is that I said to Andrew, that's what I want
- 43:46Speaker 1: you to do next time you have one of these
- 43:47Speaker 1: fancy people in your studio. He's he's producing Miley's new album.
- 43:51Speaker 1: He's producing Tell him dunk dunk dun. That guy he uh,
- 43:58Speaker 1: he's writing with me the Stone. I don't know how
- 44:00Speaker 1: the guy has the bandwidth he's doing like all these
- 44:02Speaker 1: big acts. Anyway, I said, the next fancy person that's
- 44:04Speaker 1: in your studio, would you ask them to lay down
- 44:08Speaker 1: a version of what you're trying to get into a
- 44:10Speaker 1: day issue? And he said that he would. So I'm
- 44:14Speaker 1: trying to get either Ozzie or Miley or Beebes.
- 44:20Speaker 2: This is I don't like any of those. I don't
- 44:22Speaker 2: like any of those singing that song.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Okay, well, who do you want? Sorry, there's a chopper
- 44:27Speaker 1: and coming.
- 44:29Speaker 2: If it were up to me to have anyone sing
- 44:32Speaker 2: that song, I would want Lionel Richie to sing it.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Well, I don't think he does. Lionel Richie Donald.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Well, if he could get Bieber and all these other
- 44:40Speaker 2: motherfuckers on the phone, he can get Lionel Richie on
- 44:42Speaker 2: the phone.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you he has all these famous people. And
- 44:45Speaker 1: you want someone outside of the box. You want hello,
- 44:48Speaker 1: but me go look.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And fall it's not Aaron Nevill, it's Lonel Richie.
- 44:52Speaker 1: That's if Aaron Neville sang Hello.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Well, well the only impersonation you can do is Aaron Neville.
- 44:59Speaker 1: So I get it. He singing Hello, Now I can
- 45:01Speaker 1: do other I can do Marge Simpson here, oh Donald,
- 45:06Speaker 1: I gotta warm up. Hold on ho huh homie, Homer, Homer.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Anyway, I would like Lionel Richie to sing what you're
- 45:16Speaker 2: trying to get into. I dare shoon what you're trying
- 45:20Speaker 2: to do, either hymn or uh Nipsy Russell.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Why Nipsey Russell? These are weird because he can't think
- 45:28Speaker 1: that Andrew Watt is producing the new Nipsey Russell album.
- 45:31Speaker 1: This is not the access I have. I love that
- 45:37Speaker 1: I bragged you I know a very famous music producer,
- 45:40Speaker 1: and you're so non impressed. You want someone to find
- 45:42Speaker 1: Nipsey Russell and have him.
- 45:44Speaker 2: You want someone soulful to sing the song. The people
- 45:46Speaker 2: that you sang, they aren't soulful. Man, Beebs ain't soulful.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Beebs sings freaking pop music, freaking who the other people
- 45:53Speaker 2: you said? Okay, post if you can get Bruno Marsh
- 45:55Speaker 2: to do it, I'm cool with that.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Bruno Mars, post Malone.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Post Malone, ain't sol for he sings pop songs.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Okay, do a Lipa?
- 46:04Speaker 2: I like du Alipa. I like that du alipa. She
- 46:07Speaker 2: got two songs that contradict each other. The one is
- 46:10Speaker 2: talking about don't go out and the other one is
- 46:14Speaker 2: I should have stayed in.
- 46:17Speaker 1: All right, well then I'll cancel the Andrew want.
- 46:21Speaker 3: No no, no no.
- 46:21Speaker 2: I like do a Lipa. I like doua lipa.
- 46:23Speaker 1: All right, don't. I'm gonna get whoever I can get. Okay,
- 46:27Speaker 1: if it ends up being I don't want you to
- 46:29Speaker 1: be disappointed. We got Azzie to sing the song.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I mean I like Azzi. I do like Azzi.
- 46:32Speaker 1: That's that's I do like Azzi. Okay. How about when
- 46:35Speaker 1: Kelso calls someone asked face, who was because you asked me?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I love I gotta tell you. I know he said
- 46:41Speaker 1: this before, but there's nothing as face is always funny,
- 46:44Speaker 1: ask before anything is always funny. Yeah, but as face
- 46:47Speaker 1: is a funny thing to call someone. I last assheads
- 46:50Speaker 1: ass head is funny to you, fucking ass head.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Ass hat. Ass hat is funny backwards.
- 46:57Speaker 1: When you ask backwards, I go to Kelso couldn't think
- 47:00Speaker 1: of a third one, sir, he goes that was the
- 47:01Speaker 1: third one, ass face funny, Yeah, trumpet noise every time
- 47:09Speaker 1: we say sex buddies, right, yeah, because because Jay can't
- 47:15Speaker 1: believe he hears trumpets from the heavens. He can't believe
- 47:18Speaker 1: theory and theory.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, sex buddies is a great idea.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Sustainable, it's it's untenable.
- 47:26Speaker 2: You just can't do it for a long time, because
- 47:28Speaker 2: someone's gonna catch feelings, absolutely, man, especially if you're doing
- 47:31Speaker 2: it all the time.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Yes, and especially if you you can't have sex regularly
- 47:38Speaker 1: and not and someone is gonna catch.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Feelings unless it's your profession.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Well, maybe prostitutes catch feelings sometimes too, with a particular
- 47:49Speaker 1: John remember pretty George, Jane or Jane remember a pretty woman.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Well, he caught feelings too.
- 48:01Speaker 1: They both caught feelings, Donald, They both caught feelings. Not
- 48:04Speaker 1: all prostitutes.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Like I said, it's not it's impossible. It's impossible.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I've never seen on prostitution.
- 48:10Speaker 2: He was even paying her, But he was even paying her.
- 48:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay you to not catch feelings. Here's the money,
- 48:17Speaker 2: here's I'm gonna give you all this dough. I don't
- 48:19Speaker 2: want you to catch feelings.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but she was so charming and beautiful and looked
- 48:22Speaker 1: like Julia Roberts.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:25Speaker 2: The real, the real version of that of that movie
- 48:29Speaker 2: is completely different. Finding a prostitute on Hollywood Boulevard that.
- 48:32Speaker 1: She was actually Roberts. That looks like you come on, buddy, Okay,
- 48:37Speaker 1: you didn't tell anyone. Oh, that's the Republican thing. What
- 48:41Speaker 1: about Sarah's kissing my nipples? I thought that was I've
- 48:45Speaker 1: never seen that on TV.
- 48:47Speaker 2: But you just wanted to bring up the fact that
- 48:49Speaker 2: Sarah kissed the nipples.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Dude, Well, I were watching this show that's twenty years
- 48:53Speaker 1: old and I and I just thought, you.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Know, there, you've never seen nipple kissing before.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I don't know on a primetime network show if I've
- 49:02Speaker 1: seen a woman kissing maybe. I don't watch shows like
- 49:05Speaker 1: Scandal that are supposed to be like heated.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I don't know women, kid, that's a good Scott.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Well, do you watch Scandal or Daniel? Do you watch Scandal?
- 49:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Angry's anatomy?
- 49:15Speaker 2: Okay, do they do they lick nipples?
- 49:17Speaker 1: Is there women kissing male nipples on those shows? Because
- 49:20Speaker 1: I found it very provocative in this one, and Sarah
- 49:22Speaker 1: is just breastfeeding. I don't know she's latching. She's latched.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Too.
- 49:37Speaker 1: No, I don't know because I don't watch like steamy
- 49:40Speaker 1: you know, uh, you know, soft porn that women watch
- 49:44Speaker 1: like Scandal, and Tony Goldman's probably getting his abs licked.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening.
- 49:48Speaker 5: I can't recall a specific nipple mouth insertion scene, but
- 49:54Speaker 5: definitely there's a lot of chest kissing.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So would you say, is the hottest steamiest show on
- 50:00Speaker 1: at work these days?
- 50:01Speaker 2: Like it has to be not streaming, it has to
- 50:04Speaker 2: be a Shonda rhyme show. It has to be all
- 50:07Speaker 2: the beautiful people are on those shows.
- 50:10Speaker 1: That's true, and Shonda likes a steamy, steamy thing, right.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Certain thing mixed dreamy, mixed steamy, all of that stuff. Anatomy.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I remember we were kids and I stumbled across like
- 50:20Speaker 1: a soap opera and there'd be like a Staytime soap
- 50:24Speaker 1: opera sex scene and it was so weird. And that's
- 50:27Speaker 1: kind of like now these are night soaps basically, right,
- 50:31Speaker 1: and this is how people get all titillated. Anatomy is
- 50:35Speaker 1: up there id by watching Sarah latch. To be honest,
- 50:39Speaker 1: I thought it was delightful.
- 50:42Speaker 2: I laughed very hard at my church group's doing a
- 50:45Speaker 2: rendition of Rent.
- 50:47Speaker 1: That cracked me up.
- 50:49Speaker 2: How do you get around? How does your church group
- 50:51Speaker 2: get around? So much stuff from that play?
- 50:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Yeah? And why and why have all shows did? Did
- 50:57Speaker 1: Nurse Roberts church group choose Rent?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Great music? Soulful music?
- 51:02Speaker 1: No, but they could have chose something a little more churchy,
- 51:04Speaker 1: like Jesus Christ superstar joke.
- 51:06Speaker 2: He's probably done it, They've probably been doing it for
- 51:08Speaker 2: the past ten years. They were like, we need to
- 51:09Speaker 2: switch it up. Yeah, what's the what's the new hot show?
- 51:13Speaker 2: Right now, let's do Rent.
- 51:18Speaker 1: At fifteen minutes and four seconds, there's a there's a
- 51:22Speaker 1: janitor who's not the janitor mopping the carpet. And I
- 51:27Speaker 1: thought that was funny because, you know, Neil had mentioned
- 51:29Speaker 1: that sometimes he would have to be in the background
- 51:31Speaker 1: and they would say just mop and he'd be like,
- 51:32Speaker 1: it's carpeting. And but Neil had the power as one
- 51:36Speaker 1: of the stars of the show to push back and say, Hey,
- 51:38Speaker 1: my character wouldn't mop the carpet. I imagine someone's told
- 51:41Speaker 1: this background performer and just go back there and mop,
- 51:44Speaker 1: And the guy was like, okay, and if you look,
- 51:46Speaker 1: he's just he's mopping the carpet. Here's the question.
- 51:49Speaker 2: When we walk around the carpet area, is there is
- 51:52Speaker 2: there a slashing?
- 51:53Speaker 3: No?
- 51:54Speaker 1: No, I'm sure there's no water on his mop. I'm
- 51:56Speaker 1: sure it's just a dry mop rubbing on carpeting.
- 52:00Speaker 5: No.
- 52:00Speaker 2: But I mean, oh, that would be a funny joke
- 52:02Speaker 2: that if when our characters walk through that area of this.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be funny. But I also want to
- 52:08Speaker 1: be like, sir, why are you? Why are you mopping
- 52:10Speaker 1: the carpet? Carlin thrown out a window? Carlin, Judy didn't
- 52:15Speaker 1: get a lot of stunts, and Judy got a big
- 52:17Speaker 1: fantasy here.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't throw out the window though her body
- 52:20Speaker 2: didn't make it.
- 52:21Speaker 1: No, that was funny. That's definitely not Judy. No, it's
- 52:26Speaker 1: not some stunt woman took a fucking big hit on
- 52:28Speaker 1: that window. Yeah they did. Yeah, she did, and they
- 52:31Speaker 1: should to make sure that that plexiglass was really reinforced
- 52:34Speaker 1: because she bounced back very hard.
- 52:38Speaker 2: I also laughed at hey, hey, elliot, what are you
- 52:40Speaker 2: doing just sitting in a dark crying.
- 52:42Speaker 1: So you know, the usual laughed myself at that.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Yeah, very funny.
- 52:46Speaker 5: Man.
- 52:46Speaker 1: By the way, I don't know what color I'm wearing,
- 52:48Speaker 1: like a blood orange shirt. Did you see the shirt
- 52:51Speaker 1: I'm wearing. It's the most like i've red right like
- 52:53Speaker 1: out of nowhere. Yeah, I don't know what was happening.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Why I or JD or anyone would choose that shirt
- 53:00Speaker 1: as a means of seduction. Well, I you know, red
- 53:04Speaker 1: always goes great with seduction. Red men, red is like
- 53:07Speaker 1: the typically the female thing.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Like I imagine that red is that I thought red
- 53:12Speaker 2: was the seduction cover, a color cover color.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Have you ever tried to seduce Casey by wearing a
- 53:17Speaker 1: red outfit?
- 53:19Speaker 5: No?
- 53:20Speaker 2: I have not, but I have sent her candy in
- 53:23Speaker 2: a red box. Right, But my guess is flowers that
- 53:27Speaker 2: were red.
- 53:28Speaker 1: My guess is you don't own any red clothing?
- 53:32Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Well, JD's wearing a fucking like fire engine red button
- 53:37Speaker 1: down shirt, which is.
- 53:37Speaker 2: As I look around in my closet.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you can look around tell.
- 53:40Speaker 2: You I do not wear or I do not own
- 53:42Speaker 2: a red anything a red sweatshirt, but it's like a
- 53:45Speaker 2: faded red, so it's more of a denimish red.
- 53:48Speaker 1: I don't know if that exists. But this episode, Donald
- 53:50Speaker 1: I was not able to watch with the original song
- 53:53Speaker 1: at the end, which is called tell Her This, and
- 53:56Speaker 1: the episode is severely ruined by not having Dell Tell
- 54:00Speaker 1: Heard This. I had some some knockoff. We're not allowed
- 54:03Speaker 1: to play that song on iTunes.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Was it a slow jam or was it? It was?
- 54:08Speaker 1: I don't know. No offense to the artist, it just
- 54:10Speaker 1: was wrong for the moment.
- 54:11Speaker 2: It was a song. Really, I watched it on Hulu.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I will remember that song, tell Her not to Go?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Do you remember that song?
- 54:19Speaker 5: No?
- 54:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm not allowed to play it for you guys.
- 54:22Speaker 1: And I have a very special song on the show
- 54:23Speaker 1: tonight that that that sort of is gonna work because
- 54:26Speaker 1: it was written for me. So I think I'm allowed
- 54:28Speaker 1: to play that. I love that. We have a caller
- 54:31Speaker 1: we should take I'll break. Yeah, we've got to break and.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Let our caller in.
- 54:35Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right back.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Oh, you know what we should talk.
- 54:44Speaker 1: About before the what before we're waiting?
- 54:46Speaker 2: While we're waiting, we should talk about in the beginning.
- 54:49Speaker 2: How you know when they ask about the circumcision, the
- 54:53Speaker 2: janitor comes up to j D and is like, hey, uh,
- 54:56Speaker 2: what is what's going on in there? JD's like, I
- 54:58Speaker 2: really can't talk about it. Uh patient doctor confidentiality.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 2: He's like, are you serious right now? He's like yeah,
- 55:05Speaker 2: He's like you could tell me.
- 55:06Speaker 1: He's like, no, I can't.
- 55:08Speaker 2: He's like, but you could. He's like, no, I can't.
- 55:11Speaker 2: He said, could, but won't. Whatever the joke, that's a
- 55:15Speaker 2: joke just to the end, just for JD to try
- 55:19Speaker 2: and get into his fucking locker. But there's now a
- 55:22Speaker 2: locker on it. And the janitor comes back and said,
- 55:24Speaker 2: I said I sent you an email with the uh
- 55:26Speaker 2: with the combination, but I didn't get it. He's like, well,
- 55:30Speaker 2: can you give it to me? He goes, sorry, janitor
- 55:32Speaker 2: locker confidence?
- 55:38Speaker 1: Very fun.
- 55:38Speaker 2: That should had me Roland, Yeah, that should had me.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Lan Neil can make you laugh with with basically three sentences, Yeah, easily.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I felt bad for j D at the end. He
- 55:51Speaker 1: really looked sad. He really looked like he's the one
- 55:54Speaker 1: who had caught feelings.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Well, he should have listened. He should have listened to
- 55:57Speaker 2: his friend's advice.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Man, he should have. He really was starting to all
- 56:00Speaker 1: for her.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Well, he thought, and he also thought it was going
- 56:02Speaker 2: to go the other way. That's the other thing. He
- 56:04Speaker 2: thought it was going to go the other way.
- 56:05Speaker 1: He thought he was going to be able to just
- 56:07Speaker 1: be okay with it.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Hey, Amanda, Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Amanda Bundy.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I Amanda. There's your official Donald.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Faced Amanda Bundy.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yes, how are you? Amanda? Welcome to fake Doctors. Where
- 56:26Speaker 1: are you?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Are you in your closet too?
- 56:28Speaker 1: I am in my closet.
- 56:29Speaker 3: Because I have two really big dogs and a lot
- 56:32Speaker 3: of windows, So I'm in my closet trying to keep
- 56:36Speaker 3: down the noise a little bit. And I just got
- 56:39Speaker 3: off a shift from the volunteer fire department and we
- 56:42Speaker 3: had the hurricane Kam come through, and I don't have
- 56:44Speaker 3: any WiFi, so I'm on my cellphone.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Holy caw.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Where are you in Delaware?
- 56:52Speaker 1: Tell us about being a volunteer fire person. How does that?
- 56:56Speaker 1: How did you get into that?
- 56:58Speaker 3: So? I'm a fourth generation firefight here in Delaware, and
- 57:03Speaker 3: Delaware has a ton of volunteer firefighters. It's one of
- 57:06Speaker 3: our proudest kind of things that we do. So it's
- 57:09Speaker 3: not unusual for families to do it. And I've been
- 57:12Speaker 3: a volunteer for sixteen years firefighter and ante. But my
- 57:15Speaker 3: day job is an epidemiologist for the state of Delaware.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, you are an impressive human being.
- 57:21Speaker 2: You've got a lot of jobs.
- 57:22Speaker 1: God, I gotta tell you. I've volunteered for my squad,
- 57:26Speaker 1: my rescue squad. I was, you know, a junior high
- 57:29Speaker 1: school kid, and they had EMTs and then paramedics would
- 57:31Speaker 1: meet us at the scene. But I got to tell you,
- 57:34Speaker 1: it was such an amazing feeling that I was doing
- 57:38Speaker 1: it and then doing it for no other reason than
- 57:41Speaker 1: the joy of helping people. And I only did that
- 57:43Speaker 1: for about a year. The fact that you and your family,
- 57:46Speaker 1: you personally have done it for sixteen years, I mean,
- 57:48Speaker 1: you must get so much gratification out of it.
- 57:51Speaker 3: Oh, it's definitely. It's one of I don't even know.
- 57:54Speaker 3: It's I don't know any other way to be. I
- 57:56Speaker 3: just love to help my community, and it feels really great.
- 58:00Speaker 5: Today.
- 58:01Speaker 3: I was on one truck. My fourteen year old nephew
- 58:03Speaker 3: he just joined, was on one of the other trucks.
- 58:05Speaker 3: So that's kind of cool. So we got to go
- 58:08Speaker 3: out there and do that together.
- 58:10Speaker 1: You seem like a really good human being. I wish
- 58:12Speaker 1: everyone could see your smile, because she has the nicest
- 58:14Speaker 1: smile ear to ear. Now, what happens when you when
- 58:18Speaker 1: you how do you work it with your with your
- 58:20Speaker 1: job that pays you so that you can sleep? I
- 58:23Speaker 1: mean cause I remember I was in high school, but
- 58:25Speaker 1: there were times I had to, you know, go out
- 58:27Speaker 1: in the middle of the night, and that was a
- 58:29Speaker 1: little nutty for me. But how do you do it?
- 58:30Speaker 1: How do you how do you juggle it with your
- 58:32Speaker 1: with your real job.
- 58:34Speaker 3: So this state of Delaware is very understanding and very
- 58:37Speaker 3: proud of its volunteer fire service. So during work hours,
- 58:40Speaker 3: if I have a call and I can, I'm allowed
- 58:43Speaker 3: to leave and they give us credit. We don't have
- 58:45Speaker 3: to take vacation time. And then I have like a
- 58:48Speaker 3: really amazing supervisor who if I'm out late at night
- 58:51Speaker 3: or I have something, she she works with me around
- 58:54Speaker 3: it because she knows that this is really important to
- 58:56Speaker 3: me in the community.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Wow, Donald, I'm feeling like we got to do something
- 59:00Speaker 1: special for this this person. I mean, I mean, she's
- 59:05Speaker 1: making me feel a proud to newly know her and
- 59:09Speaker 1: be that you and I are shitty human beings who
- 59:11Speaker 1: don't do enough things for our community.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Let's give away some things.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Joel, do we have palette of GT's kombucha? Have you
- 59:19Speaker 1: ever had GT kombucha or Gt' kombucha? Amanda?
- 59:22Speaker 3: I had some in the closet with me and I
- 59:24Speaker 3: was going to show it to you, but the sound
- 59:26Speaker 3: was more important than showing off my gts.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Well listen, uh, Joel is the keeper of the secret palettes.
- 59:32Speaker 2: And since we were getting that, you are getting the
- 59:34Speaker 2: unique flavors.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't find Yeah, we got that good ship,
- 59:40Speaker 1: you know, like on the sneakers app, you get those
- 59:42Speaker 1: limited edition Nikes. We got those limited edition GT got that.
- 59:46Speaker 2: We got that, we got that, We got that stuff
- 59:48Speaker 2: that nobody else has. You'll be sipping on GT's kombucha
- 59:52Speaker 2: and people will walk bround and be like, Yo, where'd
- 59:54Speaker 2: you get that flat?
- 59:55Speaker 1: Yes? Yeah, your fellow firefighters will be like, where did
- 59:58Speaker 1: you get that one?
- 59:59Speaker 2: The adais hunt fl There is no Danse shoe flavor.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: There is no yeah, yeah there.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: All right, but let's let's say it. Let's say it correctly.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Then there's no ideal shune flavor.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: It's not dal shoon.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: You say it writing a song, but then when you
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: say it in real life, it's like you all of
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: a sudden.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Lose lose it. I say, a day of shunting in
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: real life.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like what you're trying to get into idealo shune.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: And then you'll be like what your in real life?
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: You'll be like what you're trying to get into a
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: day of shoone?
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: So you hit it, you hit the odd damn shoot.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Think about it as a song. Idell shoon ideo shoon
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: a dale shune a dale shune, ideal shoe.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: A number one.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: We got another one, dal shoot a dal shoon the
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: old food, what you're trying to get into shoes.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: It really should be what you're trying to get into
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a deal.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Dude, I like that too. The remake has been dropped
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: anomber one.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta focus on a man, a man.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: And the good news is because you're an amazing human
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: being and you volunteer for your community, and you're an
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: e M t uh, you are getting Joel's going to
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: send you the mother load of g T's kombucha.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: An entire palette.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Amanda, don't share it. Don't I have such a girl
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: crush on Joel. You just don't even understand I.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Oh connection, No fake doctor's real friends left.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Connection gonna start. You know, the ladies love new ring.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Tone left connection, no fake doctor's real friends leve connection.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Eventually, if and when iHeart really comes up with merch,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: we should have there should be a mug option with
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Daniel and Joel on it. I agree, Yeah, I agree.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I would love to know. I would love to make
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: it so Daniel can no longer go to the store
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: without his He'd have to cover his face, even with
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: when the masks and no more, you will have to
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: cover his face. I want to do that.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I want to make it happen. The Daniel Joel mugs
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: will sell way better than ours.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: That's fine, Let you get a piece.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I would totally fucking drink my morning coffee out of
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: a Daniel Joel Are you kidding me?
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: I would love a Daniel and Joel mug where when
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: it's when it's cold, it's Daniel, and when it's hot,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: it's Joel.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Or or or it's us, and then you pour hot
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: liquid in and it turns into them. Yeah, I would
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: love that.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: That would be amazing. That would be amazing.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: All right, come on, let's focus, Amanda. Do you have
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: a question for us or do you just come for
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: your free G two's cho No, that is that.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Is something like I have to tell you. I'm so excited.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: I couldn't believe that I got picked because SCRABS meant
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: so much to me. I'm in the same age racket
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: as you, Donald and Zach.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: So when he came twenty five, you're twenty five.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: So it's quarter life, quarter life. Get that quarter life.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Ah, when I came, when I watched the show, I
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: had just come out of college, and it made me
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: know that even though I was kind of smart and
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: you know, doing my job, that there were other people
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: who were smart that sometimes you know, they they weren't
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: they didn't have all their shit together. So it made
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: me feel better about myself. And my question to you is,
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: as somebody in my forties who's been doing a lot
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: of stuff with COVID, I have a little bit of
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: imposter syndrome. So have you guys had any imposter syndrome
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: during your careers?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: What do you mean you have imposters? Who are you impersonating?
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: So I was in charge of the case monitoring team
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: for COVID. So I was the person in charge and
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: every time they would come to me with a problem,
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: I would look around for another adult, you know, an adult,
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: yer adult than me. Right, I was like, I can't
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: believe that. You know, this is what I'm doing here
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: is I'm in charge of these twenty five people and
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I'm it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you're the chief. Yeah.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Have you guys ever had that happen to you?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Oh, you felt like you were an imposture.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: That happens to me all the time when I start
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: talking about subjects that I have no idea what I'm
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: talking about.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: And yeah, but you still commit.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I commit one hundred percent. Though I commit one hundred
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: percent until I get caught out there. And once I
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: get caught out there, I'm like, well, I don't really know.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: But for the most part, you sell it really well.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Though sometimes Donald will be talking it'll be like it'll
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: sound like legit, but then you kind of zone out
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: because it's like long and you're like, what is he?
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden you're like, oh, that
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: that actually made no sense at all.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I could be a politician. Yeah I could.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You could be a politician.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I could be a politician, dude, be all, I have
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: the skill. I have the skill to talk about shit
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: that I have no idea what I'm talking about, just
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: bullshit my way through.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I feel that way sometimes when I'm directing. Man, there's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: times when I remember I was thinking Going in Style.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: It was the biggest movie I made. There was a
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: huge crew we were shooting in this bank. There were
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: one hundred the extras, there were hundreds of crew people,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: and everyone just kind of waiting on me to decide
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: what we're doing. And sometimes there's a plan and sometimes
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you're totally making it up and uh yeah, so I
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: definitely and those and a few directing moments have been
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: like I wish I could look to somebody else to
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: tell me what to do right now.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: It's hard to figure things out on the spot like that, dude,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: when we were doing that video, the music video, the
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Gavind Graw video, and everything was going to shit that day. Yeah,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: it was really interesting to look at you having to,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: you know, having everybody come to you to figure something out,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: and you sitting there.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Like, dude, I have no idea how to fix this
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: right now? Yeah I have to.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that wasn't I and I understood the conundrum.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: How about that? But it actually was a blessing in
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: disguise ultimately, because what I figured out ended up being
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: better than I think the thing I was striving so
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: hard to create.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Do you find that right now, Amanda, that you you know,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: because you can't turn to anybody, that you're making decisions
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: that turn out to I mean, I I hope so especially.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I just imagine she's like, no, I am fucking Delaware.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm saying this isn't recorded right. They have no idea.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Everything's great, No, we're doing We did really well. I
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: had a really great team, and I had people who
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: really cared about taking care of their fellow Delawareans. So
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I was lucky because they made it easy for me.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Easy to lead when you have good people to lead.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: So I was really excited and blessed to have a
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: really great team.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: That's awesome. You have another question, ye, go for another question,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: another one they do.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: So, since you guys are both East Coasters, but you're
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: not living here anymore, what do you miss the most
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: about out here on the East Coast?
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: You know, I was lucky enough to spend last year
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: the latter half of the year in Jersey. I really
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: missed the seasons, you know what I mean? I miss
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: I miss spring. I miss fall. I miss winter in
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: la it seems like it's always summer. It's like summer,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: and then it's cold, but it's not cold enough to snow,
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: and it's you know, it's fall, but the trees still
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: have leaves. So I missed I missed that very much.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: That in my family, my mom, my dad, and cousins
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: and stuff like that. I missed that about the East Coast.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I have a place still in Manhattan. I haven't been
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: since COVID, so I missed that. I missed the city.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I'm still like Donaldside. I missed the seasons. I love
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: New York. When the when the leaves start to turn
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: after the summer, and it's just everyone starts wearing like
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: their cozy fall clothes, and and I missed the theater
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: and and just walking around New York City and the
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: people watching and and just the energy and the spirit
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: of Manhattan. I really really love and I miss that
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: a lot.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: I like what you said just now when you said
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: that you miss how you know when fall comes people
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: put on their cozy clothes.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I missed that.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: But I also miss when the winter ends and summer
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: comes and everybody starts dressing less or love that too.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: That's of course. That's what's fun about the seasons changing
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: is like, oh, I'm gonna finally get to wear that
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: hoodie I love.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Right, or I'm probably going to get to wear them
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: shorts up in there.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: And also, you know, in New York is so interactive
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and and you know, in non COVID times, you you
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you you talk to people, you you bump into people,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and you know, La, you know, one of the stereotypes
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: that's that's true is that you just don't really have
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: contact with strangers nearly enough because you're just there's no
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: pedestrian life that it's just you get in your car
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and you go to meet people that you already know.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You know, that's one of the things I really don't
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: like about La. But it is seventy five most days,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: which I do like Donald.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: It shakes a little, it shakes a little, but I.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Thought he shook last night again.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: But I think, but you know what, we could be,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: it could be worse. We're very lucky. You know, the
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: whole East Coast is dealing with this damn hurricane right now,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: and it's it's a big one, and it's a big
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: one this time. You know what I mean, and you know,
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: shout out to all of the people like Amanda who
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: out there, you know, supporting their community and keeping their
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: community afloat.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: And I want to give a shout out to Amanda
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: in another way and say, if you are if you
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: live in a place that well, first of all, volunteer
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: in any way that you can. But I just want
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: to specifically speak to what she does because I am
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: someone who can attest to doing it, and it was
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: so rewarding. If you happen to live in the community
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: that has a volunteer either ambulance service or fire service,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: reach out to them. There is so much camaraderie. They
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: will train you. If you get into it, you can
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: become an EMT. And I got so much out of it.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: And you can hear in Amanda's voice how much joy
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: it brings her. It's like being on a team, but
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: instead of just playing a game, you're going out in
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: your community and trying to save lives. And right, Amanda,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you could probably speak to it by than I can.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: But I just I really think there's probably some people
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: who might be listening who are on defense about maybe
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: wanting to try it, but being intimidated by it and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and this is your sign that you should be doing it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: I think it's one of the best things that you
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: can do. We we start at the ambulance station where
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: I am, we start kids at sixteen. At the fire station,
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: we start kids at fourteen. And it's the best experience.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: It's rewarding. I couldn't ask for a better bunch of
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: guys to be around, even though some of them are
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: my brothers. But yeah, but it's it's definitely family and
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: they're always there for me no matter what. And it's
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: it is one great, big family that you you're in
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: and they're there all from the time you're in until
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: the time you're not.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: So it's like a club. It's like a club. But
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: what comes with the club is occasional insane moments of
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: adrenaline rush where you go where you go to the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: rescue and then.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Your phone goes mm hmmm on a call and everybody
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: stops and stairs at you.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's that's that's good though. That's that's that's
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: the best part about the job. Those are the good
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: parts about the job.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Maybe maybe you could maybe you could set your emergency
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you know, Amanda, we need you notification to what you're
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: trying to get into.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Oh damn, shoot, and I see I feel like I've ruined.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I feel like, I know, I feel like I've I've
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: given you a bad note.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: You know what You're like giving me a note? And
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I'm in my head about the note. I don't want
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: to disappoint you. But here's the thing. I feel like
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: the saying your name has a different melody than the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: song no no no no, switch melodies, mid riff.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: No no, no no.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: The way you were saying it originally it was the
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: correct way. The way you the way I'm sorry, the
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: way you sang it originally was correct it.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: It's also hard to put growl on it that way,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and you're really limiting my growl.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: It's not hard to say, Ah, there you go. Now,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: I felt that in my soul.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Baby, Oh, that one's nasty.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: That's the type of ground. It brings stuff up. It
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: brings stuff up from the you know you're singing when
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: you bring stuff up.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: All right, Amanda, you have a truckload of uh gts K.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: You're coming your way right.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Well, And by truckload we mean box.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: No, it's a pallette, it's a talent, pallet of a forklift.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: A forklift's going to be a lot. It'll be a lot.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: If you bring it to the to the firehouse, Amanda,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: everyone's gonna take it. So you're gonna want to hide
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: that ship.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: My one tip and a form of advice for you,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: is that you put this in the refrigerator as soon
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: as possible because it is fermentedy. So as soon as
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: you get your palette. Uh, if you don't have room
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: in your fridge, take it to the firehouse.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Take it all her fellow of fire folks will steal
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: it all.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Well, it'll be going to the right people. Then, how
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: about that, it'll be to people that's serving the community.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: It'll be shared well with everybody.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: That's something. Listening to Amanda, she's already talking about sharing it.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: She's such a good person, whereas Donald and I are like, now, listen,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: you gotta hide that ship. If you the garage kids,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: if you have a garage fridge. Do you have a
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: garage fridge?
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: If the kids finding it's over, it's over for you.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: If the kids find it, all right, Amanda, thank you
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: so much. Your smile, put a smile on our faces
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: and generally.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Giving up for Amanda partner.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: She is slowly fading away with her GT's kombucha. Wow, Joelle,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: good pick what nice?
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Awesome, Joel. I think you gotta start picking more people
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: that are amazing like that. No offense to everyone who's
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: called before, but they weren't exactly full time volunteers for
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: their local fire departments. Oh, I see she was awarded
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: the GT's.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: I think we did it, dude, we did it, We
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: did it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I thought I did the show with the song. And
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I want to explain. So Bonnie Verre, who's a band
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I really really like?
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Are they friends of yours?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Yes, this one qualifies. I'll tell you why, so you
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: might know him. If you didn't know Bonnie viber prefer,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you might know him. His name is justin his real name,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Banavera is his what do you call it? Nom de plume, Joelle?
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: His stage name, his nom de plume. And you might
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: know him because he's on the new Taylor Swift album.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: And I'm saying those of you who don't know that
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he's a famous artist, you might be introduced to him
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: because he sings with Taylor Swift on her new album. Anyway,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: for my film Wish I was here that Donald was
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: in playing the most handsome Aston Martin dealer of all time.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Thank you for me. I wanted Justin to write an
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: original song, and I thought that was a crazy long shot,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: because he's an artist I really, really, really like, and
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: we got in touch with him. He lives in Wisconsin
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: on a farm, and my music supervisor went up there.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: She flew up to Wisconsin to his farm, and she
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: had a DVD of the film and she showed him
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the film and he stood up from having seen the
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: film and walked into his studio and wrote this song
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: called Heavenly Father. So this is a song that not
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: a lot of people have heard because it was on
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the Which I Was Here soundtrack, But it is an
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: original song written for me and the film Which I
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Was Here by bone Avere. And here it is coming
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: at you. I am talking it up. Thank you for
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: listening to Fake Doctor's real friends. Here is Boneivere Heavenly Father.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Ever since I've heard how you when I didn't need
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: to go about when.
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: Then you know you gave scen Hev see me to Code.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: Of Dead Dads.
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: I don't know how you how this sin. I was
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: never sure how much of you I could let it in.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Won't you settle down, baby love?
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: It's been.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Heavenly Father, steppingly alive.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: You don't care other names.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Heard about it day were driving and.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: It's going the other days you learn its close summon
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: non cowardly, a cow in.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Son around now when you count to day, well go
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: now only that I can't pretend.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Heavenly Father its stuctus an. The love is left in in.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I've just been up here for goddamn years.
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: Can't you see how filling up balls with God damn fish.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I'm freaking out. I know about it.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Don't have anything in.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Heavenly five.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: St in the
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: Office, safe fit in
