- 0:07Speaker 2: Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Dirty Rush. I'm Gia Jude,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and today I am joined by Georgia Gay to talk
- 0:18Speaker 1: all about her new Bravo micro drama Campus Confidential Miami.
- 0:24Speaker 3: All right, Georgia, how are you.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm so good.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Thank you for having me. I'm so excited to talk
- 0:30Speaker 4: with you today.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It's gonna so am I I was so interested.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I mean I was watching your Peacock series and then
- 0:38Speaker 1: after yours, it even went into another series that was
- 0:42Speaker 1: like the Miami micro Influencers.
- 0:45Speaker 3: So tell me a little bit about that.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Your new Bravo micro drama just came out on Peacock
- 0:49Speaker 1: Campus Confidential Miami.
- 0:51Speaker 3: How are you feeling about it?
- 0:53Speaker 1: How did this opportunity first even come to you?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been so fun.
- 0:58Speaker 4: It's been a week since it aired, so it's been
- 1:00Speaker 4: exciting to get, you know, all the media from it
- 1:04Speaker 4: and see what people are saying. They first producers first
- 1:08Speaker 4: reached out to me, I think back in September they
- 1:11Speaker 4: had seen one of my parents.
- 1:13Speaker 2: We can vlogs with.
- 1:13Speaker 4: My mom and they were like, oh my gosh, what
- 1:15Speaker 4: is this crazy you Miami life? So they DMed me
- 1:19Speaker 4: and then yeah, we just interviewed from there and now
- 1:22Speaker 4: here we are.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It's been a fun journey.
- 1:24Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Were you nervous at all to share your personal sorority process?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I definitely was.
- 1:32Speaker 4: I was scared of like feedback, you know from my
- 1:35Speaker 4: ex sorority sisters about you know, sharing my journey. It
- 1:40Speaker 4: was definitely scary, but I feel like having dropped before
- 1:45Speaker 4: I had to talk about everything, it made it a
- 1:48Speaker 4: little bit easier because I already had to go through
- 1:50Speaker 4: the whole you know, being the girl that dropped from
- 1:53Speaker 4: her sorority.
- 1:54Speaker 3: So what was that process like?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Since the microdrama has come out, have you had any
- 2:00Speaker 1: of your ex sorority sisters come at you with their
- 2:04Speaker 1: opinions or even reach out to you since then?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yeah, there's been a couple of girls who have reached out,
- 2:09Speaker 4: which is so nice, and you know, they've been sweet.
- 2:11Speaker 4: But I mean there's also the other side of it,
- 2:13Speaker 4: where people are mad, people are angry that you know,
- 2:16Speaker 4: I'm kind of talking badly about, you know, my sorority
- 2:21Speaker 4: because my experience, you know, had its downs for sure.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So yeah, there's definitely been some backlash.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And when these girls reached out to you, were they
- 2:31Speaker 1: the same girls that you were in touch with when
- 2:34Speaker 1: you first rushed or were these new girls that you
- 2:38Speaker 1: never really spoke to before.
- 2:40Speaker 4: They were girls that I had been in touch with
- 2:42Speaker 4: during rush, and you know we had like formed friendships
- 2:45Speaker 4: because we were in the sorority.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But yeah, like I kind of talked about.
- 2:50Speaker 4: On campus confidential, you know, my friendships just weren't strong
- 2:54Speaker 4: in my sorority. So yeah, once and I think I
- 3:00Speaker 4: like talked about dropping and stuff. People kind of realized
- 3:03Speaker 4: the experience I was going through. And so then a
- 3:06Speaker 4: few girls reached out and you know gave their condolences
- 3:10Speaker 4: and you know, said they were happy for me and
- 3:13Speaker 4: with my decision.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So yeah, it's been a mix for sure.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So let's rewind back to the beginning. What made you
- 3:20Speaker 1: decide you wanted to attend the University of Miami in
- 3:23Speaker 1: the first place.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah, so originally I was kind of I always knew
- 3:27Speaker 4: I wanted to go out of state, but I was
- 3:29Speaker 4: looking at California schools because Utah and California they're pretty close,
- 3:32Speaker 4: and my older sister had gone to the University of
- 3:35Speaker 4: Santa Barbara and she was also in this already there,
- 3:37Speaker 4: so I was really looking at California, but then kind
- 3:40Speaker 4: of on a whim because of the whole you know,
- 3:43Speaker 4: Alex Earl of it all, and you know you Miami
- 3:45Speaker 4: blowing up on social media, I was like, wait, maybe
- 3:48Speaker 4: you Miami could be.
- 3:49Speaker 2: A fun option.
- 3:50Speaker 4: So I ended up applying and then I got in
- 3:53Speaker 4: and it kind of just felt right. Once I went
- 3:56Speaker 4: through the whole college application process, I was like.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I think you might be the choice.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, you Miami looks like a great place,
- 4:05Speaker 1: but I feel like there definitely is a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: pressure around it. My youngest sister, Audreana, actually wants to
- 4:12Speaker 1: attend the University of Miami.
- 4:14Speaker 3: She's definitely but.
- 4:16Speaker 1: After watching your microdrama, I'm like, I don't know, but listen,
- 4:21Speaker 1: I think there's definitely a lot of pressure around it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Even just seeing the way that Alex ear All blew
- 4:25Speaker 1: up just from TikTok going to University of Miami, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: think University of Miami obviously blew up overall, even more
- 4:33Speaker 1: so after that happened with Alex I mean, everyone obviously
- 4:37Speaker 1: knew of University of Miami. Even when I was in
- 4:39Speaker 1: school at Rutgers, I wanted to transfer there.
- 4:42Speaker 3: It just always looked like such.
- 4:44Speaker 1: A fun environment as well as obviously such an amazing school.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So kudos to you for even getting in because it's incredible.
- 4:51Speaker 3: That's also just a big pad on the back.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But overall, she's looking at Florida's schools all over, so
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm like, I just feel like there's a lot of
- 5:02Speaker 1: pressure there to begin with, Yes.
- 5:04Speaker 4: For sure, And I mean I kind of have talked
- 5:07Speaker 4: about this a little bit, but I feel like even
- 5:10Speaker 4: though my experience was, you know, so tumultuous at the
- 5:14Speaker 4: University of Miami, I feel like I would still recommend
- 5:17Speaker 4: the school because it's just such an incredible college experience.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I mean, you're in the middle of a huge city
- 5:24Speaker 4: like Miami. It's utherly New York City on the water,
- 5:28Speaker 4: and you know, they have the Greek life, but they
- 5:30Speaker 4: have the city life, and you know, there's just so
- 5:33Speaker 4: many aspects to that college.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Plus the academics are amazing.
- 5:37Speaker 4: So yeah, I feel like everyone can have their own experience,
- 5:41Speaker 4: and just because you know, my path was a little different,
- 5:44Speaker 4: I feel like people still have you know, so much
- 5:47Speaker 4: success at that.
- 5:48Speaker 1: School before going through recruitment, were you nervous about how
- 5:52Speaker 1: girls would perceive you with your mom being in the spotlight.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, I definitely we was worried.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I was a little hopeful that it.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Would, you know, maybe give me a little bit of
- 6:05Speaker 4: an edge because I knew how rigorous the Greek life
- 6:09Speaker 4: process was at the University of Miami.
- 6:10Speaker 3: And I mean, I'm not gonna lie, and I'm not
- 6:12Speaker 3: gonna say this. I don't know.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this in the most humbling way possible.
- 6:19Speaker 3: But I feel as though because.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Our moms are on you know, reality TV and on
- 6:26Speaker 1: a huge platform like Bravo, on a huge network like Bravo,
- 6:31Speaker 1: we obviously have a lot of public attention from that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Especially I know that you were featured on the Real
- 6:38Speaker 1: Hostils of Salt Lake City as well, so your face
- 6:41Speaker 1: was known.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I would think.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That that would help you throughout your sorority recruitment process.
- 6:46Speaker 3: But do you feel like that hurt you in any way?
- 6:49Speaker 4: I feel like it actually helped because I actually found
- 6:53Speaker 4: out after the process that they had actually had a
- 6:55Speaker 4: set list.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And my name was all on the list.
- 6:58Speaker 3: They do.
- 6:59Speaker 1: They do, yeah, and I when you go through the
- 7:02Speaker 1: recruitment process, I was a zeta at Rutgers University. Then
- 7:06Speaker 1: my sophomore year and junior year, I kind of saw
- 7:10Speaker 1: the behind the scenes of the recruitment process, and it's
- 7:14Speaker 1: almost like they are investigating every single potential P and
- 7:21Speaker 1: M that is coming in and so they're really doing
- 7:25Speaker 1: a whole background check on every new member, and it
- 7:30Speaker 1: is kind of a crazy process, but they are basing
- 7:34Speaker 1: you really on and judging you based on your Instagram
- 7:38Speaker 1: and your background and what they.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Know about you. And it can sound a little surface level,
- 7:44Speaker 3: but at first it is.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And then as you go through the recruitment process and
- 7:48Speaker 1: obviously have your rounds, and as you go and meet
- 7:51Speaker 1: with each sorority house, they get to know you better
- 7:54Speaker 1: on a more personal level, and then really you know,
- 7:57Speaker 1: figure out who they want and who they don't want.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But at first it's very surface level and they just
- 8:04Speaker 1: kind of see who they want.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I think that's my least favorite part about like the
- 8:09Speaker 4: rush process, is that not everyone gets that like clean slate,
- 8:13Speaker 4: and I just like, luckily I was on the right
- 8:15Speaker 4: side of it, but there's so many girls on the
- 8:18Speaker 4: wrong side of it, and it's just not fair.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You know, No, it's not and it ultimately doesn't give
- 8:23Speaker 1: everyone a fair shot, to be honest with you.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 8:41Speaker 1: What surprised you the most about sorority life once you
- 8:44Speaker 1: were actually in it?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like kind of the cold tiness of it,
- 8:50Speaker 4: Like it really does feel like, I don't know, like
- 8:55Speaker 4: you kind of get really tied up in the aspect
- 8:58Speaker 4: of like, oh, these are ours and like only us
- 9:01Speaker 4: one hundred girls are like in the PC, and you know,
- 9:04Speaker 4: we're all like tied to this name and you start
- 9:07Speaker 4: like doing we had like baby meetings where we would
- 9:10Speaker 4: you know, kind of like learn the background of the sorority,
- 9:13Speaker 4: and you know, they really tried to get you just
- 9:15Speaker 4: like kind of tied up in the culture. So I
- 9:17Speaker 4: think there's like good aspects of that, for like philanthropy
- 9:20Speaker 4: and that kind of stuff. But also it's just a
- 9:23Speaker 4: little bit interesting to be like, oh, since I'm I
- 9:27Speaker 4: have these letters, like it makes me you know, kind
- 9:30Speaker 4: of the royalty of the school.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It feels weird.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't know how it goes at or
- 9:36Speaker 1: how it went at the University of Miami. But once
- 9:40Speaker 1: we you know, were initiated into our sororities.
- 9:43Speaker 3: At Ruckers. It was very much so like we were
- 9:48Speaker 3: all a family in a way. Greek life was.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Very you know, I only saw people that were in
- 9:55Speaker 1: Greek life, but we did mix with other sororities. We
- 9:59Speaker 1: mixed with other fraturn is. I was friends with girls
- 10:01Speaker 1: and other sororities. I think it's also what you make it.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And I know the pressure could seem a little heightened
- 10:08Speaker 1: at first and when you first jaded a sorority, but
- 10:13Speaker 1: I you know, as the years went on, I really
- 10:18Speaker 1: I wasn't like.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Your raw ra sorority girl. I really wasn't.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And you know, freshman year it was fun because it
- 10:27Speaker 1: did give you that, you know, leeway to meet other people.
- 10:30Speaker 1: But then as you go on, you've realized that Greek
- 10:33Speaker 1: life is not everything. And ultimately, if I didn't want
- 10:39Speaker 1: to be in a sorority anymore like my sophomore, junior,
- 10:43Speaker 1: or senior year, I really didn't have to. But of course,
- 10:47Speaker 1: you know, it is, you know a great thing to
- 10:50Speaker 1: really just you know, have in your back pocket. It's
- 10:53Speaker 1: always great to put on your resume and just to
- 10:55Speaker 1: follow with you post college. But ultimately it's not everything, Yeah, totally.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And I had the same experience for a freshman year.
- 11:04Speaker 4: It was just so much fun and it was like
- 11:07Speaker 4: a great way to just have a community of girls
- 11:10Speaker 4: and be like, oh, we're all going to these parties
- 11:12Speaker 4: and like we're all going to these events, and you know,
- 11:15Speaker 4: it was fun to have that you know, kind of
- 11:17Speaker 4: instant friendship at a new school.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 1: If you could change one thing about Greek life culture,
- 11:23Speaker 1: what would it be.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Definitely frat culture.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I just think it completely messes up our society. Like
- 11:30Speaker 4: I could write and I say about this, I just
- 11:33Speaker 4: think it's like the whole hazing.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Process still hasn't been addressed enough.
- 11:40Speaker 4: I mean we've seen documentaries and you know, people kind
- 11:44Speaker 4: of know the truth, but it's still much.
- 11:46Speaker 2: A very like taboo. We don't talk about it topic.
- 11:49Speaker 4: And so I just think there needs to be changes,
- 11:51Speaker 4: like it should be illegal a hazing process.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I couldn't agree with you more.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The things that I remember when I was in school
- 12:00Speaker 1: and just hearing some of the things my friends would
- 12:02Speaker 1: have to do, and it was it was crazy, and
- 12:05Speaker 1: they were all it was. They were always on call,
- 12:08Speaker 1: especially during when they were in their in their hell
- 12:12Speaker 1: week and I was like, that was crazy, But how
- 12:17Speaker 1: have your sorority friendships changed since dropping?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Definitely changed a lot, kind of just non existent, I
- 12:28Speaker 2: would say. I mean, I had a couple of girls
- 12:30Speaker 2: reach out after the show and they were like, you know,
- 12:32Speaker 2: we could always grab coffee, but it's never gonna be
- 12:35Speaker 2: the same type of friendship again, I know for sure.
- 12:39Speaker 2: And I feel like it makes sense.
- 12:41Speaker 4: You know, if you're still in the sorority, you're still
- 12:43Speaker 4: in that mindset, and it's like if someone drops, it's
- 12:46Speaker 4: like what like it feels very out of the ordinary.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So during that micro drama, you had your three friends
- 12:54Speaker 1: that you were kind of talking to, and in the
- 12:56Speaker 1: mix with the one girl was Sienna.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Do you still talk to her?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yes, I shall talk to Siena. She is so great.
- 13:05Speaker 2: She definitely got the run of you Miami's dark side
- 13:10Speaker 2: of social media.
- 13:11Speaker 4: You know, she got like so much hate for this
- 13:14Speaker 4: drama that went down, and you know, I really felt
- 13:16Speaker 4: for her because I just feel like there shouldn't be
- 13:20Speaker 4: so much like hatred. I feel like college kids can
- 13:23Speaker 4: be like so hateful and I hate that. So, yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 4: we're still friends and I think she's a great girl,
- 13:29Speaker 4: and it was so fun filming with her.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Good while filming the micro drama. Those girls were they
- 13:36Speaker 1: genuinely the closest girls that you fell to at the
- 13:39Speaker 1: University of Miami, do you also feel and did you
- 13:42Speaker 1: bring them into the microdrama?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so I brought Sophia into the microdrama.
- 13:47Speaker 4: She's not in a sorority, and we met earlier that year,
- 13:50Speaker 4: and I feel like she was my closest friend at
- 13:52Speaker 4: the university at that time. Siena, we actually hadn't met
- 13:56Speaker 4: since like right before the show, but luckily we clicked
- 13:59Speaker 4: and you know, it worked out great.
- 14:01Speaker 2: But yeah, at that.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Time, I really was just kind of figuring out my
- 14:07Speaker 4: life and wasn't you know, hanging out with a friend
- 14:10Speaker 4: group like every single weekend. So I definitely had more
- 14:14Speaker 4: just like personal friendships versus like my group of.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Girls got it because I was just very interested. If
- 14:20Speaker 1: you also felt like these girls were also just.
- 14:25Speaker 3: You know, kind of hanging around for.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The exposure of the micro drama, And I know that's
- 14:30Speaker 1: such a shitty thing to say about. Unfortunately, being in
- 14:33Speaker 1: the limelight and the spotlight that we are in, we
- 14:37Speaker 1: do have to be very cautious of the people that
- 14:39Speaker 1: we allow into our lives and how vulnerable we are.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And I know it's so you know, I know it's
- 14:45Speaker 1: so like unfair to say that and for us to
- 14:48Speaker 1: have to think like that, But it's something that I
- 14:51Speaker 1: constantly tell my sisters about and it's something that I'm
- 14:54Speaker 1: very cautious about still to this day.
- 14:57Speaker 3: And I you know, I've gone through college.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm twenty five now, and it's it's very much so
- 15:02Speaker 1: you know, the people that you let in, you have
- 15:04Speaker 1: to be very guarded because sometimes you don't know what
- 15:06Speaker 1: their intentions are.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Luckily, I feel like with Sienna we're kind of some
- 15:13Speaker 4: similar in the way that like we both want to
- 15:15Speaker 4: be in the limelight more, you know, So yeah, I
- 15:18Speaker 4: feel like that wasn't an issue for her.
- 15:20Speaker 2: And with Sophia, she.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Kind of veered off the show honestly after like the
- 15:26Speaker 4: first time we filmed, because she kind of wants to
- 15:29Speaker 4: go more like the finance round.
- 15:31Speaker 2: She's like, what are this ruins ruins my chances at
- 15:34Speaker 2: Wall Street?
- 15:34Speaker 4: I'm like, well, okay, but yeah, she actually didn't want
- 15:37Speaker 4: to film after the first episode, which I made a
- 15:41Speaker 4: little hard because I was like, might.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Sposed to have been with that.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, well, listen, you have to respect the grind. I
- 15:49Speaker 1: understand that because my sister Gabriella is, you know, venturing
- 15:53Speaker 1: into that.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Field, so you have to respect it. Do you feel
- 15:57Speaker 3: like being an influencer has ever hurt your friendship?
- 16:00Speaker 4: Ye? I feel like it's made tension in friendships because
- 16:07Speaker 4: I don't know, like some people don't want to put
- 16:10Speaker 4: themselves out there, so then when they see you putting
- 16:12Speaker 4: yourself out there, they're like, oh, like they feel a
- 16:15Speaker 4: little bit I don't know, maybe like jealous of it,
- 16:17Speaker 4: or like they feel less confident, and so it kind
- 16:21Speaker 4: of adds a little bit of tension. They're like, why
- 16:23Speaker 4: are you filming a TikTok right now? Like we're just
- 16:26Speaker 4: hanging out. But yeah, other than that, I feel like,
- 16:30Speaker 4: now I'm trying to align myself more with friendships with
- 16:33Speaker 4: people who kind of see life in the same way
- 16:35Speaker 4: I do and kind of, you know, want more for themselves,
- 16:38Speaker 4: want bigger things for themselves, so they're you know, kind
- 16:42Speaker 4: of headed in the same direction.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You talked about things being written about you on yik
- 17:01Speaker 1: yak after you dropped what's the wildest rumor you saw
- 17:05Speaker 1: about yourself?
- 17:07Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, oh there's Oh.
- 17:11Speaker 4: I just read this thing the other day and it
- 17:13Speaker 4: was like Georgia wants to have like different friends for
- 17:18Speaker 4: tokens for her social media, like people of like different backgrounds,
- 17:22Speaker 4: and like that is literally the wildest, most out of
- 17:25Speaker 4: pocket thing I've heard, uh, and it just like it
- 17:28Speaker 4: makes me so angry because, like, I think that was
- 17:30Speaker 4: the first time I realized people can literally just put
- 17:32Speaker 4: out like whatever they want and it can have like
- 17:35Speaker 4: no merit and they just run with it. So I
- 17:38Speaker 4: think that was kind of a wake up call that
- 17:40Speaker 4: like pure lies can just be sat on social media,
- 17:43Speaker 4: and you know, as long as you know who you are,
- 17:47Speaker 4: there's no need to you know, have to feel like
- 17:50Speaker 4: you have to defend yourself till you're blue in the face.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 17:54Speaker 1: People will put out things in the press on social media,
- 17:57Speaker 1: all of it, and ninety percent of the time it
- 17:59Speaker 1: is a lie, So don't let anything affect you.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I remember yet Yack in college.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It was I honestly thought it was comical and I
- 18:07Speaker 1: can't believe they still use it today.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Embarrassing, and like I would feel like embarrassment anytime. I
- 18:16Speaker 4: like that curiosity got to me and like, Okay, I'll
- 18:18Speaker 4: redownload it and like see what they say.
- 18:19Speaker 2: But I'm like, no, just keep it down.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Just keep it deleted. I mean, it's a pointless app anyway.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Do you think your priorities today are different than when
- 18:30Speaker 1: they were freshman year?
- 18:32Speaker 2: All one thousand percent? Oh my gosh.
- 18:34Speaker 4: My priorities freshman year were just like party, party, party,
- 18:37Speaker 4: have as much fun as possible, lived.
- 18:39Speaker 2: For the plot.
- 18:40Speaker 4: And I love that I had so many amazing memories
- 18:43Speaker 4: and such an incredible time. I feel like now I
- 18:46Speaker 4: kind of got that wild part out of my system
- 18:50Speaker 4: and I kind of want to, you know, be more
- 18:53Speaker 4: grounded in my life and kind of put like career
- 18:58Speaker 4: stuff first.
- 19:00Speaker 1: My mom didn't get this already experience at college in Utah.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Did she push you to rush because of that?
- 19:07Speaker 2: No, I honestly just wanted to rush.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I was really excited we rush in spring at the
- 19:12Speaker 4: Universe of Miami, so it was kind of something that
- 19:15Speaker 4: was talked about like all throughout fall semester. Yeah, so yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 4: she didn't really have much of an input. I think
- 19:22Speaker 4: she was excited for me to rush and my older
- 19:25Speaker 4: sister rud rush, so that was kind of another inspo.
- 19:28Speaker 4: But yeah, I think I was just excited for the process,
- 19:31Speaker 4: Like I wanted to get my fun outfits. I wanted
- 19:34Speaker 4: to you know, be on rush talk and like see
- 19:37Speaker 4: the whole experience.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So yeah, during Rush, did people recognize you for being
- 19:43Speaker 1: Heather's daughter? I know we kind of talked about that.
- 19:45Speaker 1: It was, you know, definitely used to your advantage a
- 19:48Speaker 1: little bit. But did people ever mention that to you
- 19:50Speaker 1: during the rush process?
- 19:52Speaker 4: No, they definitely avoided it during the rush process.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Good they did their job.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they did their daughter, So no, they never they
- 20:01Speaker 2: never brought it up.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Did you want to go to school in Miami to
- 20:04Speaker 1: get away from Utah? Or like what was your I
- 20:07Speaker 1: know you said you always wanted to be out of state,
- 20:10Speaker 1: but what was really the reason for it?
- 20:12Speaker 3: Was it because of Utah?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Was it because of you know, your mom being well
- 20:16Speaker 1: known in the real house as a Salt Lake city
- 20:18Speaker 1: What was really your mindset?
- 20:19Speaker 3: Or did you just want to experience and go far?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah? I think a little bit of everything.
- 20:25Speaker 4: I really just wanted to get out of Utah and
- 20:29Speaker 4: like have a new experience and live in a new city.
- 20:31Speaker 4: And I really wanted just like that epitome college experience,
- 20:36Speaker 4: and I knew I wouldn't get that staying in Utah
- 20:39Speaker 4: because you know, I would still be in the bubble
- 20:41Speaker 4: of the same people, and I wanted to break out
- 20:44Speaker 4: of that and have like a fresh.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Big start.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I love that.
- 20:49Speaker 1: As you mentioned, your sister Ashley was an Alpha fie
- 20:52Speaker 1: at Santa Barbara. Did she have a positive sorority experience
- 20:55Speaker 1: or was it anything similar to yours?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she actually loved her for all four years she
- 21:02Speaker 2: was I think she was on the leadership team or
- 21:05Speaker 2: something in that category. She loved Alpha fy and she
- 21:08Speaker 2: met some of like the funnest girls, and they, you know,
- 21:11Speaker 2: would all stay in the same houses and she lived
- 21:13Speaker 2: on the water.
- 21:14Speaker 4: It was really fun, and it was fun for me
- 21:16Speaker 4: to kind of see her experience and get excited for
- 21:20Speaker 4: my own.
- 21:21Speaker 1: How did you support you during your own experience and
- 21:23Speaker 1: as you were kind of going through that hard time
- 21:26Speaker 1: at Miami.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like, you know, we were in different.
- 21:32Speaker 2: States, so we would just FaceTime and text and she
- 21:35Speaker 2: was always there for me. But yeah, I think it
- 21:39Speaker 2: was hard to understand the just like the culture at.
- 21:44Speaker 4: The Miami and just how I don't know, it's just
- 21:48Speaker 4: so specific and so like when you're in the culture
- 21:51Speaker 4: you just feel like that's all there is.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And yeah, girls can be mean, so it's hard.
- 21:56Speaker 3: That is true.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Girls can be me and your baby's mister Annabelle. Did
- 22:01Speaker 1: she rush?
- 22:02Speaker 2: Yeah? So she goes to Tampa just like and she's
- 22:08Speaker 2: in Kappa Alpha Theta.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Okay, awesome. Has she ever ran into Malaney on campus?
- 22:16Speaker 2: I don't think she has what I keep telling her
- 22:18Speaker 2: she needs to.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I'm like, that's so cute. What year is she? Is
- 22:23Speaker 3: she a freshman?
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yeah, she'll be a sofhore starting Okay.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, amazing. So what's next for you? Would you like
- 22:32Speaker 1: to be on another show?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Like next? Jen?
- 22:34Speaker 1: Are you pursuing your influencer career? And whatever happened to
- 22:38Speaker 1: that real estate job that you got out in Miami,
- 22:41Speaker 1: that real estate marketing job both the content creation job.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Yes, the real estate marketing was super fun. I think
- 22:49Speaker 4: it was more for the time though, Like I loved it,
- 22:52Speaker 4: but not something I would stay in Miami for you now, I.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Feel like that's decision to stay just for that.
- 22:59Speaker 4: But yeah, next for me, I'm moving to Cali, So
- 23:03Speaker 4: I'm so excited about that. And yeah, I just kind
- 23:06Speaker 4: of want to explore the entertainments here as much as
- 23:10Speaker 4: I can. You know, audition for things, maybe be on
- 23:13Speaker 4: a next gen LA sort of thing, could be super fun.
- 23:18Speaker 4: But yeah, just see what opportunities arise. And I'm honestly
- 23:22Speaker 4: flying by the seat of my fans and seeing you
- 23:25Speaker 4: know what the wind brings in.
- 23:28Speaker 3: That's incredible.
