- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're tired of waiting and wondering if anything's ever going to change.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Or maybe you've asked God which direction to go, but things are about as clear as mud.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're beginning to wonder what's the point.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Well, if that's you today, this episode is for you.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: I'm going to show you how things can change.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: Hi, guys.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: This is kind of for the one who feels like maybe they want to stop trying.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: They're just kind of
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: ready to dump it all.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: And I think we've all felt that way one time or another, so you're not alone.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: But hold on, before you give up, get a load of this.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Did you know that in the Bible there are many examples of people who had hard times
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: for 40 and then came 41?
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Okay, let me explain how 41 can change everything.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: We all know the story of David and Goliath.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Goliath was this huge warrior who would come out every morning and challenge anyone
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: in the Israelite army to fight him.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Of course, no one would because they were all scared of him.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And he did this every day for 40 days.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And then a young man named David came on the scene.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: And well, day 41 came.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And David killed the giant with a slingshot and a stone.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And according to God's plan, this changed the course of an entire nation.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: And here's another example.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: For 40 years,
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: the Israelites wandered around in the desert on their journey to the land
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: that God had promised them.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: And that was a long time.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, many times on this trip,
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: they wished that they would have just stayed in Egypt as slaves.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: But then year 41 came and God parted the Jordan River so they could walk
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: on dry ground, walking right into their destiny.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And exactly according to God's plan, God's people started a new beginning.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Here's another example.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Take the story of Noah and the ark.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: For 40 days, the rains flooded the earth, destroying everything that wasn't on that ark.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: They were probably discouraged after all that time wondering if the rain would ever quit.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: But then day 41 came.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: The rain stopped and the process of restoration began.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Because according to God's plan, the slow journey to a fresh start was right there.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: They still had a long ways to go until the water had to recede and all of that.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: But things shifted on day 41.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: So, when your view of the future is looking pretty dim,
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: or you feel like your hope is just dwindling,
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: your 41 could be right around the corner.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Your answered prayer,
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: your deepest desire,
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: or your dream come true could happen tomorrow, next week, next month.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: You could be almost at that turning point and you don't even realize it yet.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: The point is, don't give up.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: God can do anything.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: In fact,
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Ephesians 3.20,
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: the first part of that verse says,
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think,"
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: God is so much more powerful than we could ever imagine.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: But as you wait, remember that His timing is perfect and ours isn't.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And sometimes what we think is best for us might not be what's best for us.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: So if you're waiting for your 41 to get here, trust Him.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Trust His plan.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: And never lose hope.,
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: because I'm going to be doing the same.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Now go make it a great day.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: And thanks for listening.
