  Speaker 1: will conceive and give birth to a son, and you

  Speaker 1: the Angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to

  Speaker 1: give birth to the Messiah. Y'all, she was an engaged woman,

  Speaker 1: engaged to a fine young man. This had been the

  Speaker 1: best time of her life. She was preparing for her wedding.

  Speaker 1: Then came the amazing news that, out of all the

  Speaker 1: women in the whole world, she had been chosen by

  Speaker 1: God to do the miraculous, to care read the savior

  Speaker 1: of the world and give birth to Jesus Christ. Oh,

  Speaker 1: but what Gabriel didn't tell her were about the difficulties ahead.

  Speaker 1: Gabriel didn't tell her that her fiance Joseph, was so

  Speaker 1: upset thinking she had cheated and gotten pregnant by another man,

  Speaker 1: that he was about to break off the engagement and

  Speaker 1: put her away. Privately, Gabriel didn't tell her that there

  Speaker 1: would be gossip, the slander, heurful talk by neighbors and

  Speaker 1: even people that she called friends. Gable didn't tell her

  Speaker 1: there would be a painful ninety mile trip to Bethlehem

  Speaker 1: on a donkey while she was nine months pregnant, and

  Speaker 1: savior of the world. See, when God gives you a promise,

  Speaker 1: to realize, yes, there will be difficulties, and you'll face

  Speaker 1: some wrong situations. You'll face some things that seem hard

  Speaker 1: and like, man, this couldn't be God. But you got

  Speaker 1: to realize the steps of the righteous are ordered by

  Speaker 1: the Lord and they're all a part of his plan

  Speaker 1: to bring it to fulfillment. So you keep honoring God,

  Speaker 1: you keep him first place, and you stay focused on

  Speaker 1: the purpose, and you'll see the promise come to pass. Father, God,

  Speaker 1: thank you for your promises that you will bring to

  Speaker 1: fulfillment to your plans for our lives. Help us to

  Speaker 1: stand firm even in difficult times when everything seems to

  Speaker 1: be going wrong. God, we declare that we're going to

  Speaker 1: keep honoring you and doing what is right, no matter what.
