- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Turns out the digital footprint
- 0:08Speaker 1: that I've been talking about here sometimes is deeper than
- 0:12Speaker 1: I think. I mean, I went on a rabbit hole
- 0:14Speaker 1: after I saw the Bob Costas, as AI put it,
- 0:18Speaker 1: Sports broadcaster Bob Costas was a guest on One Look
- 0:25Speaker 1: Up Alex Garrett's podcast. That's what AI said, and I
- 0:29Speaker 1: was a little taken Aback. I'm like, man, AI knows
- 0:33Speaker 1: how much we're keeping the show updated and who's joining.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And then I decided to go further into all of this,
- 0:39Speaker 1: and there's AI overview on Terminello's tape and Ryan Gano
- 0:44Speaker 1: Pegg's perspective. It even says Alex Garrett don't have along
- 0:49Speaker 1: the line as one ing up Alex is engaged to
- 0:51Speaker 1: Gabriella Pisani. I mean, the digital footprint is out there.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It knows my mom is lawyer's super Rocquay, and I
- 1:01Speaker 1: know it's because I've written about her and had her
- 1:04Speaker 1: on my show and then also talk about my dad
- 1:08Speaker 1: and it actually is John Garrett, Alex Garrett's father, which
- 1:13Speaker 1: is just kind of weird to me. How good point
- 1:17Speaker 1: they are. But here's the one very interesting thing that
- 1:25Speaker 1: I notice of all this AI overview stuff. Alex Gartt
- 1:29Speaker 1: is an adaptive athlete who connects with guests to share
- 1:31Speaker 1: stories that he feels deserve more attention. And that's true,
- 1:36Speaker 1: but the I don't want to say validation, but the
- 1:41Speaker 1: acknowledgement that I'm an adaptive athlete is out there and
- 1:44Speaker 1: that means a lot. Because I do try and be
- 1:48Speaker 1: athletic and am athletic. I just don't play as much
- 1:50Speaker 1: as I want to. But for that to get recognition
- 1:56Speaker 1: means a lot. All this to say, if there's ever
- 2:00Speaker 1: day you wonder if you matter, you wonder if you're
- 2:03Speaker 1: making an impact, Just look up your social media handle
- 2:07Speaker 1: and you'll see that you, too, are making a digital footprints.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And now that I know all of this and how
- 2:17Speaker 1: they're tracking what we're saying on our podcast and all
- 2:20Speaker 1: that other stuff, it makes me want to just talk
- 2:23Speaker 1: more positivity into the world and not so much bashing
- 2:28Speaker 1: anybody or hardcore criticizing anybody, because we want to leave
- 2:36Speaker 1: the world and we want to put out in the
- 2:39Speaker 1: world some more positivity rather than negativity. So I would
- 2:45Speaker 1: save you're a podcaster and you do have a footprint,
- 2:49Speaker 1: just be mindful of what you say it's out there.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Gemini or whoever's doing AI is tracking what you're saying.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And so speak goodness, speak positivity, speak even kindness into
- 3:10Speaker 1: the world. And that's how you have a positive digital
- 3:14Speaker 1: foot print, a positive digital imprint. You know. I aiied
- 3:20Speaker 1: James call me and Alex Garrett because had done this
- 3:22Speaker 1: piece podcast in May about how arresting Colly would help
- 3:30Speaker 1: America have one like up. It's almost like I called it,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and I still say, this isn't bashing, this isn't being negative.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But he stepped in it when he made a threat
- 3:42Speaker 1: to the President of the United States when he said
- 3:44Speaker 1: eighty six forty seven, and four months later, here we are.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He is the first FBI director arrested. And it's funny
- 3:56Speaker 1: because they had said Jay Huiger Hoover was not a
- 3:59Speaker 1: nice guy or there was some odd with him, and
- 4:03Speaker 1: of course all the directors over the years. Comy is
- 4:06Speaker 1: the first. Comy is the first that says a lot
- 4:12Speaker 1: about his demeanor as character. And I said this before.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It should have been with the memo leaks that he
- 4:20Speaker 1: was arrested four years ago. He used his position of
- 4:25Speaker 1: authority to leak to the media to undermine I think
- 4:39Speaker 1: the American people in a way and to certainly throw
- 4:44Speaker 1: off elections. And I'm not a Hillary fan, but how
- 4:49Speaker 1: do you after clearing her on July fifth, twenty sixteen,
- 4:55Speaker 1: then write a letter saying, oh, by the way, we
- 4:57Speaker 1: found some stuff on the laptop and though it's not
- 5:01Speaker 1: prosecutable that you should know about this type of thing
- 5:05Speaker 1: that threw the election off into Trump's favor one way
- 5:08Speaker 1: or the other. He was just incompetent, but he was
- 5:14Speaker 1: doing it unlawfully, and as his indictment show, and maybe
- 5:20Speaker 1: we'll prove call me is getting what he deserves. But
- 5:29Speaker 1: it shouldn't have taken a threat to the President of
- 5:32Speaker 1: the United States in such a tumultuous time for us
- 5:36Speaker 1: to get here. Of all the leaders in Washington, I
- 5:42Speaker 1: think he was the biggest one to abuse his power
- 5:45Speaker 1: of authority. I think you could say this is political revenge.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And I think I did mention that this stuff Trump's
- 5:53Speaker 1: tided to get back at him for the stupid dossier
- 6:00Speaker 1: and for the collusion. But that's all philosophical. I mean
- 6:07Speaker 1: the practical stuff he did. It was an injustice that
- 6:13Speaker 1: on July fifth, twenty sixteen, he cleared Hillary Clinton of
- 6:16Speaker 1: all charges. It felt like an injustice and a surprise move.
- 6:26Speaker 1: It was an injustice that while he was doing all
- 6:28Speaker 1: of this clearing of Hillary and trying to get after Trump,
- 6:33Speaker 1: he missed the tips on the Marjorie Stone Douglas shooting.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I mean, the FBI got tip after tip and nothing
- 6:40Speaker 1: got done about it. And then the biggest thing that
- 6:46Speaker 1: gets to me is he leaked to the media through
- 6:48Speaker 1: his friend or I guess he hired someone to do it. Craven.
- 6:54Speaker 1: He even sounds craven every time he talks. And so
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm tying this in now because I do want it
- 7:07Speaker 1: on record and the digital footprint that I think, indeed,
- 7:11Speaker 1: arresting James call me will help America will look up
- 7:15Speaker 1: if he had made that. If he didn't make the threat,
- 7:17Speaker 1: this wouldn't be an issue because you know, I guess
- 7:20Speaker 1: maybe they viewed it as Washington as usual corruption and politics.
- 7:25Speaker 1: But I got really pissed when he leaked to the
- 7:29Speaker 1: media like that. He just shouldn't have been allowed to
- 7:35Speaker 1: say and do all the things he was able to
- 7:38Speaker 1: do with no repercussion, with no repercussion. And I hope
- 7:51Speaker 1: that even if he's not using in jail time, that
- 7:54Speaker 1: something happens, because yes, he can't just be allowed to
- 8:06Speaker 1: speak un with me like that firstly, but he should
- 8:12Speaker 1: be set an example should be set of how the
- 8:15Speaker 1: FBI should be run, and leaking to the media is
- 8:17Speaker 1: not how the FBI should be run. And of all
- 8:22Speaker 1: the things you could take him to task for, that's
- 8:23Speaker 1: the one I do, I want to and I'm glad
- 8:29Speaker 1: he's finally facing the music on this. It took a
- 8:36Speaker 1: dumb threat, a threat nonetheless to finally act. But just
- 8:45Speaker 1: four months after I said arresting him would help America
- 8:48Speaker 1: have one leg up boom Cash were telling the FBI,
- 8:52Speaker 1: make the case, and they arrest him and indict him.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And that is how you holne. Someone responsible for leaving
- 9:08Speaker 1: a very harmful and negative footprint like James Goley is
- 9:16Speaker 1: clearly left in this nation, and it should be a
- 9:22Speaker 1: warning sign that if you use the digital footprint that
- 9:26Speaker 1: you have in a negative way, you will be held accountable.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I saw Scott Jennings this week. He is sure as
- 9:38Speaker 1: hell reported Keith Oberman for that threat, and I'm glad
- 9:47Speaker 1: he did. But Oberman another example of a negative way
- 9:53Speaker 1: to use your digital footprint. And I hope and pray
- 10:02Speaker 1: that the threats that do come into the FBI and
- 10:04Speaker 1: that they do monitor continue to be foiled. Even those
- 10:14Speaker 1: that think they're in an ivory tower because oh my god,
- 10:16Speaker 1: they're Keith Overen. Oh oh my god, there James calling me.
- 10:18Speaker 1: They're untouchable right now, They're very touchable. They're human beings,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and they shouldn't think because they have high standing in
- 10:28Speaker 1: society it's okay to post stupid threats in a time
- 10:36Speaker 1: like this, a negative digital footprint should hold consequence. And
- 10:47Speaker 1: so in those two examples, those are two men that
- 10:49Speaker 1: chose to use their digital footprint and their impact on
- 10:52Speaker 1: the world in a negative way, in a very harmful way.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Let's be better than them. Let's think positive, Let's think prayer,
- 11:04Speaker 1: and let's think unity not division here on the one
- 11:12Speaker 1: like a Balox network,
