- 3:27Speaker 1: Man? What's going on? Buddy? Buddy?
- 3:29Speaker 2: You look you look great?
- 3:31Speaker 1: What's this? What's this book? You got? You like? The blue?
- 3:33Speaker 1: What is this?
- 3:34Speaker 3: Well?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, oh no that's not that. This is not my
- 3:37Speaker 1: uh the children's book.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Here you go with your goddamn phone ringing again.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It's Louis. Move.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Put them on the air, just put them on the
- 3:46Speaker 2: air live and that'll that'll teach them.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Okay, bro, before you say anything wild. You're live on
- 3:52Speaker 1: the air right now with me.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that'll teach you not to call Louis between nine
- 3:57Speaker 2: and ten.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Asshole. Let me call you back when I get nine
- 4:05Speaker 1: five on a Friday morning.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Happy birthday today to Annie Dolan, my neighbor. Great lady.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Rtt Palmer's on the list today, Lisa Aldsworth, Joe Waltsworth's.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Why just talk to Joe Waldsworth yesterday?
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Lisa, she's a great lady, man, she really is.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Lisa. Who else do we have here?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Uh?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Tanika Kawecki, Susan Sears, Matthew Adams. It is the twenty first, right, Yeah,
- 4:40Speaker 2: it is all right, Alyssa Philion, Brett Kingsbury is on
- 4:44Speaker 2: the birthday list today. Yeah, these are all okay today.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I think that's I think that's all of them.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Testing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right. Well I came in
- 4:58Speaker 1: a little late. I didn't get to do our our
- 5:00Speaker 1: mic test and all that stuff.
- 5:02Speaker 2: No, no, you you look good, you sound good. I'm
- 5:05Speaker 2: a little blue today. Can I start with Can I
- 5:09Speaker 2: start with something?
- 5:09Speaker 1: I do live in Williamstown, so I'm wearing Williamstown colors today.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Good yeah, yeah go blue. Well yeah, absolutely. Listen.
- 5:16Speaker 2: We're gonna start out this morning by saying, first of all,
- 5:19Speaker 2: happy Friday to you. Thanks so much for joining us,
- 5:23Speaker 2: for tuning in. I had a compliment about you this morning.
- 5:28Speaker 2: No way, that's from air from someone that I they
- 5:33Speaker 2: must not know me. They asked me not to tell
- 5:38Speaker 2: you who they are, Okay, and I won't. I won't
- 5:43Speaker 2: on the air, I won't off the air. But this
- 5:47Speaker 2: was someone who said, you know, the thing about Rex
- 5:51Speaker 2: is and they know you, they've known you for a
- 5:57Speaker 2: long time, that you have your your outer shell as
- 6:05Speaker 2: we all do, and you have your inner shell, and
- 6:11Speaker 2: they pay attention to you, and they listen to you
- 6:15Speaker 2: on on the air here and off the air on Facebook,
- 6:18Speaker 2: where you can get very controversial. That's just such a
- 6:25Speaker 2: such an understatement. It's just so you're lucky.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I don't drink a gallon of wine and get on
- 6:31Speaker 1: Facebook anymore.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That was candy coated right there.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, at times Rex can get a little
- 6:39Speaker 1: controversial on Facebook.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Rex can candy coated emotionally react.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yes, that's something that's something I'm working on myself. But buddy,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I know you're working on that. We are all working
- 6:54Speaker 1: on that, all of us. I mean, my god, we
- 6:59Speaker 1: have we have the outer part, we have the inner part.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And adulting sucks so hard.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Adulting blows.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You can either just give up and say fuck it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm a shitty person and you either live with me
- 7:11Speaker 1: or you don't. I choose not to do that. I
- 7:13Speaker 1: try to grow, I try to change. I try to
- 7:16Speaker 1: do better every day.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Here's the thing I do I have I have heard before,
- 7:20Speaker 2: as I know you have. Rex's an asshole.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I am, What do you mean? That's like? That's okay,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I am.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Here's the thing. We're all assholes.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we really are. It's not you except for Athena.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Look in my eyes, daddy, but man, it's.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Like we all have stuff in our in our our
- 7:41Speaker 2: heads that's not entirely constructive and healthy.
- 7:47Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:48Speaker 2: We say things all the time that we don't mean
- 7:53Speaker 2: to say.
- 7:54Speaker 1: So that's one thing that I'm working on, uh myself,
- 7:56Speaker 1: because I I do, I blow up and yeah I'll
- 8:01Speaker 1: say shit, and it got me in trouble even with
- 8:04Speaker 1: like law enforcement, you know. And when I when I
- 8:07Speaker 1: got pulled over and I said the most vile and
- 8:11Speaker 1: horrible things to Officer gay Lord and guess what, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: met him yesterday. I met him again yesterday. Oh no, no, no.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know who he was dealing with was he was
- 8:20Speaker 1: dealing with Big Ed Collins. And so then Ed's like,
- 8:25Speaker 1: I am telling you right now, and he gets right
- 8:27Speaker 1: down there and I was like, hey, I should probably
- 8:29Speaker 1: get out of the truck. I was like, hey, Ed,
- 8:31Speaker 1: that's Officer gay Lord. He's used to dealing with assholes
- 8:35Speaker 1: and he and Ed looks at me and he's like,
- 8:37Speaker 1: what do you mean. I was like, that's the guy
- 8:38Speaker 1: that arrested me. So he's really used. Ed starts laughing.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He goes, so, you know, knows me. And that's so
- 8:46Speaker 1: that was the first time meant that since then that
- 8:49Speaker 1: me and Officer gay Lord actually got to have an
- 8:52Speaker 1: interaction and it was a super positive interaction. You know,
- 8:57Speaker 1: he's hanging out down on Brooklyn Street because he's the
- 8:59Speaker 1: drug officer. Yes, so he's been down there and he's
- 9:02Speaker 1: been making friends with the fetanyl dealers. Yeah, yeah, they
- 9:06Speaker 1: they've been talking. I think they're all friends.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Now, wait a second, you're saying there's fetanyl dealers around here.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yes, I've actually been working on the fetanyl pass when
- 9:14Speaker 1: it comes to jiu jitsu and then you attackle. I
- 9:20Speaker 1: did it to a guy wednesday. I was joking around.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I was like, I've been developing this fetanyl pass and
- 9:25Speaker 1: he's like, come on, what are you talking about? And
- 9:28Speaker 1: he walks up and I did the zombie slouch, get
- 9:31Speaker 1: right down, and he was like looking at me, and
- 9:33Speaker 1: then my ankle picked his acid and threw him on
- 9:34Speaker 1: the ground. All right, so carry on? What were you saying?
- 9:38Speaker 1: So emotionally reacting to two things? So now what I'm doing,
- 9:44Speaker 1: And this goes back to I watched the I watched
- 9:47Speaker 1: the video once that they were talking to prisoners and
- 9:49Speaker 1: and they were in there for life for like hainous crimes, murders,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and they asked him, They're like, by the time that
- 9:55Speaker 1: this guy enraged you to your reaction, how much time
- 9:58Speaker 1: was there in between? And there little to thirty seconds? Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 1: and that that little that thirty seconds changed their entire life.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So now I've had to step back and before I
- 10:12Speaker 1: respond to anything, I have to ensure that emotions aren't involved.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And I don't care if I have to set my
- 10:21Speaker 1: phone down for an hour or if I have to
- 10:23Speaker 1: set my phone down for a day before I respond
- 10:25Speaker 1: to somebody. So that's that's my own I've had to
- 10:29Speaker 1: practice this, that is for myself because I can be
- 10:33Speaker 1: super explosive, super quick.
- 10:34Speaker 2: That is so, so so difficult to do. There are
- 10:40Speaker 2: so many people that are listening right now saying, oh, man,
- 10:45Speaker 2: is he talking about me? Because everyone struggles with that, dude.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Especially people that dealt with like a childhood trauma coming
- 10:55Speaker 1: up through. Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 2: A couple of comments here, one from a guy named
- 11:00Speaker 2: Ed Collins, and it says, if Rex is an asshole,
- 11:07Speaker 2: then what do they say about me?
- 11:10Speaker 1: He's a bigger asshole. John Kidder just bigger. John Kidder
- 11:13Speaker 1: says Rex is an ass but a great guy that'll
- 11:19Speaker 1: do anything for anyone if you're not a shit back right. Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I think that's fair. That guy knows you right there.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I think that's fair. I know you very harsh, but
- 11:30Speaker 1: I do. Like I was just talking to a friend
- 11:34Speaker 1: of mine and she's going through a tough time right now,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and her and her significant other, they were in a
- 11:43Speaker 1: long term relationship and they broke up, and you know,
- 11:45Speaker 1: we were talking and I was pretty harsh with her. Yeah,
- 11:50Speaker 1: and you know, because she has so they were in
- 11:53Speaker 1: a relationship and they both have friends, so those that
- 11:57Speaker 1: friendship you know, when a breakup happens, Oh yeah, friendship splinters,
- 12:01Speaker 1: so then people pick sides. And then so she doesn't
- 12:03Speaker 1: really have anybody that's unbiased that she could talk to,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and so I filled that void just talking. But during
- 12:11Speaker 1: that course, like I'm gonna tell you the truth. I'm
- 12:15Speaker 1: sorry if it hurts your feelings, I'm sorry, but I'm
- 12:18Speaker 1: gonna tell you what I really think. I think because
- 12:20Speaker 1: I I'm that guy, like, rip the fucking band aid off.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I don't want to. I have a lot of hair
- 12:25Speaker 1: on my legs. I don't want to take fucking weeks
- 12:27Speaker 1: to pull that band aid off. Yeah I've seen I've
- 12:30Speaker 1: seen that, you know what I mean. So, and I
- 12:34Speaker 1: don't want to live in chaos anymore. That's a big
- 12:36Speaker 1: thing that's me and Ed talk about this a lot,
- 12:39Speaker 1: just living in the world of chaos. I don't want
- 12:42Speaker 1: that in my life, you know, I don't want that.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And so I believe I'm in control of my own chaos.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I create most of my own chaos. So that's something
- 12:52Speaker 1: within relationships, within anything. You know. The funny thing we
- 12:56Speaker 1: talk about a lot is you could be the best
- 13:02Speaker 1: carpenter in the world and have the shittiest attitude. And
- 13:07Speaker 1: then you could walk in. You could see this guy
- 13:09Speaker 1: carpenter and he's like, well, hello, Joanne and Bob, you
- 13:13Speaker 1: guys are great. Sit down and talk to you for
- 13:14Speaker 1: the next hour. Charge you for that hour. They're talking
- 13:17Speaker 1: to fuck up every single thing along that job. But
- 13:20Speaker 1: because you're a good dude, you know, I knew, I
- 13:26Speaker 1: mean because you've hired me before.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, there's my bell. We just got a beautiful, beautiful
- 13:36Speaker 2: comment here. This is so incredibly beautifully crafted. It says
- 13:43Speaker 2: I want to pound Rex like a tent peg with
- 13:50Speaker 2: a hammer full of love. Oh wait, I mean that
- 13:56Speaker 2: is that flattered.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'm just not into pegging. That is just so.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Beautiful, I mean, isn't it though?
- 14:07Speaker 1: Listen to that. I watch a pound wreck stop it,
- 14:13Speaker 1: stop it like a tent peg. Life is hard, relationships.
- 14:23Speaker 1: What's that? I said? Life is hard? Relationships are even harder.
- 14:29Speaker 1: This is true too.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I know we're going down a couple of rabbit holes here,
- 14:33Speaker 2: but absolutely, yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Absolutely, So that's the stuff that we're that. You know,
- 14:38Speaker 1: this is stuff. This is the philosophical stuff that like
- 14:41Speaker 1: me and Big at us, Big fucking stupid assholes that
- 14:43Speaker 1: we are. Yes, this is the type of stuff that
- 14:46Speaker 1: we talk about at five point thirty in the morning
- 14:48Speaker 1: because we've both been up since four. Really, yeah, absolutely
- 14:52Speaker 1: is like the chaos in our lives, the cast that
- 14:55Speaker 1: we create and we take. We take responsibility for our
- 14:59Speaker 1: own thought in every interaction. Sure, sure, sure, so the
- 15:06Speaker 1: better you get along with you, like I taking take.
- 15:09Speaker 2: An accountability and responsibility for your own reactions, your own
- 15:14Speaker 2: responses to two things. And I think there's a difference
- 15:17Speaker 2: between reacting and responding. Sometimes sometimes you can react with silence. Yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 2: just ignoring a complete asshole by not by not responding
- 15:38Speaker 2: at all if.
- 15:39Speaker 1: They're by injury. When I was on my arm, I
- 15:44Speaker 1: was responding every minute to random strangers. I'm like, what
- 15:48Speaker 1: the hell am I doing? I don't even know you. Yeah, exactly,
- 15:54Speaker 1: Like I've had people on my Facebook. I used to
- 15:56Speaker 1: accept everybody on my Facebook. I have five thousand friends
- 15:59Speaker 1: on that whatever fantasy land Facebook that we call it whatever.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And I remember I was talking to somebody on there,
- 16:06Speaker 1: and every time he came on it, it was just
- 16:08Speaker 1: to argue, just argue, and then finally, you know, he
- 16:12Speaker 1: sent me a private message and he's like, well, you
- 16:14Speaker 1: do this, this guy, you bully, And I was like, hey, cocksucker,
- 16:20Speaker 1: First of all, that's not the whole story. And I
- 16:24Speaker 1: was like, and that really pisses me off that you'd
- 16:26Speaker 1: put that side of it out like that, Yeah, without
- 16:27Speaker 1: having the whole story to it. And as a matter
- 16:29Speaker 1: of fact, fuck you. We're not friends. Yeah, we're not wasted.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I was like, why are we exactly why am I
- 16:37Speaker 1: wasting my time? I don't We're not friends. You're not
- 16:40Speaker 1: my Like, it's more than time that you're wasting. You're
- 16:44Speaker 1: wasting energy, You're wasting Yeah. But what's the most valuable
- 16:48Speaker 1: thing we have in life? Fucked capaciti? Yeah, and I'm
- 16:52Speaker 1: wasting ship it is.
- 16:54Speaker 2: It is the number one You're right, it is the
- 16:56Speaker 2: number one most valuable thing that we have.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You can't buy time and how you use it? Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: how you can spend time? You can't buy it? Oh wow,
- 17:07Speaker 1: is there a shirt that says that I No, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: don't know. I just I was on the fly. Baby.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So that's the other thing. Now, let's now let's talk
- 17:16Speaker 1: about like relationships. Oh, so relationships are super super hard,
- 17:20Speaker 1: and this is something like this is stuff that I
- 17:23Speaker 1: learned in thirty years of marriage. I'm not I'm not
- 17:26Speaker 1: a marriage counselor. I am working every single day.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Sometimes we have to work every hour. It's a choice
- 17:35Speaker 2: of every day.
- 17:36Speaker 1: It's a choice to be with somebody. It's a it's
- 17:39Speaker 1: a I'm hard as fuck to love, dude, I can
- 17:43Speaker 1: only fathom I I am. I'm hard and uh so,
- 17:52Speaker 1: like me and my wife, we go through shit all
- 17:55Speaker 1: the time. I mean, there's no way you can't thirty
- 17:58Speaker 1: years with somebody you sure, sure you have. There's so
- 18:01Speaker 1: many ups and downs. Same with same with Sherilyn and
- 18:04Speaker 1: I Right, how do you keep that spark going? How
- 18:06Speaker 1: do you how do you stay in love with somebody
- 18:09Speaker 1: after thirty years? Yeah?
- 18:11Speaker 2: So that's what brings me to this. Oh boy, no,
- 18:15Speaker 2: what I love about you?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's a workbook for couples and you can
- 18:23Speaker 1: order mom like Amazon. Shit like that. It's a cheap word.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's a cheap, cheap fucking therapy. Keep it, keep it
- 18:31Speaker 1: in the front seat of the truck. It No, what
- 18:33Speaker 1: it does is it's a workbook that you.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I'm saying, keep it close by all the time, like
- 18:38Speaker 2: so you can add stuff.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so and that's what it is. It's a journal
- 18:42Speaker 1: in each one like it says my favorite thing about
- 18:45Speaker 1: you is it forces you right to remember the things
- 18:49Speaker 1: that made you love that person.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I got to get one of those. I have to
- 18:55Speaker 2: get one of those.
- 18:56Speaker 1: And once it's completely full, I'll give it to my wife.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's I have to Where are those?
- 19:04Speaker 1: I got that from Amazon? All right, I gotta get
- 19:05Speaker 1: one of those. Was like twelve bucks.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Man, Really, you know what I want to do. I
- 19:09Speaker 2: want to get I want to get I want to
- 19:11Speaker 2: get a couple, get one of those, one of those.
- 19:14Speaker 1: They have a whole bunch of different work books. There's
- 19:16Speaker 1: a whole series of them, and ship for for couples kids.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Let's face it, man, they want I mean therapy is
- 19:21Speaker 1: what they want you to go twice a week and
- 19:23Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty bucks a session. Can you get
- 19:26Speaker 1: one that?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Can you get one that says what A hate about you?
- 19:30Speaker 3: No?
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm sure they have them. Okay, But negativity will become
- 19:36Speaker 1: negativity that that brings you to karma, that brings oh,
- 19:39Speaker 1: that brings me to the next subject. The universe and
- 19:42Speaker 1: what you ask for in the universe.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Uh Ed says I disagree. I think it's what we
- 19:47Speaker 2: do with our attention and and and this this word,
- 19:53Speaker 2: this next word is the word that I've been saying
- 19:57Speaker 2: over and over in my head for months.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Intention.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I mean, Ed's right on man's spot on.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so what he's talking about the intentions.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It is the intention living with intentions.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Okay, And I'll put this for an example.
- 20:11Speaker 2: For what are you intend to say here?
- 20:14Speaker 1: On? So, I lost a job. It was a siding job.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It was a siding job. And what it boiled down
- 20:24Speaker 1: to was they were working with an online bank, and
- 20:28Speaker 1: the online bank says, well, we only have these approved
- 20:30Speaker 1: national people that can come and do the job right. Yes,
- 20:34Speaker 1: so they're double my price. They come up from Massachusetts.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I see him, Here comes all the vans. Yeah. I
- 20:41Speaker 1: was like, son of a bitch. And I just remember,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I remember that feeling. I was like. And then I
- 20:47Speaker 1: and then as I was leaving for work, they were
- 20:51Speaker 1: setting up. As I was coming home from work, they
- 20:53Speaker 1: were still there working, so I couldn't bust their balls.
- 20:56Speaker 1: They had solid work ethic, they weren't slouches. But then
- 21:00Speaker 1: I noticed the deficiencies. I was like, oh, you guys
- 21:03Speaker 1: are not painting your Edges, you're not flashing it properly.
- 21:07Speaker 1: And I remember I was with ED and I was
- 21:09Speaker 1: typing that message out to that customer, and I was like,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I was gonna tell them, y'all, you better check the
- 21:14Speaker 1: manufacturers thing. And then I looked at ED and I
- 21:17Speaker 1: was like, am I sending this out of spite? Yeah?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Or am I sending this out of genuine care for
- 21:23Speaker 1: that customer? Ask yourself that question. And I didn't send
- 21:26Speaker 1: that message. Yeah, those people are working, and I don't
- 21:30Speaker 1: know what their reasoning is. It's not my problem, it's
- 21:32Speaker 1: not my it's not my fight to get into, it's
- 21:34Speaker 1: it's not my chaos. But but I was sending that
- 21:37Speaker 1: out into the universe, and that gets to and that
- 21:39Speaker 1: gets to ED. Like probably nine years ago, I looked
- 21:43Speaker 1: at Lucas John and I said to him, I promise
- 21:46Speaker 1: you I will be your first black belt. Guess who's
- 21:53Speaker 1: black belt. I'm wearing DS. So I never thought about
- 21:56Speaker 1: all those consequences, everything that I would have to go
- 21:59Speaker 1: through in order for that to happen. The universe said, fuck,
- 22:03Speaker 1: yeah you want that belt, We'll give it to you. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 1: let's sacrifice your best friends, let's sacrifice your body. Let's
- 22:08Speaker 1: sacrifice everything, but you're getting that motherfucker. Yeah. So before
- 22:12Speaker 1: you ask for the universe, make sure you ask properly
- 22:14Speaker 1: what you how you want it? Like, I just want
- 22:18Speaker 1: to live peace. So if you say that I want
- 22:19Speaker 1: to live in peace, what does that mean? Like you
- 22:22Speaker 1: go to a mental institution, you get arrested and go
- 22:24Speaker 1: to jail. There's so many things when you ask those questions,
- 22:27Speaker 1: and the universe will give it to you. And the
- 22:29Speaker 1: universe has to equal itself out every single time. I
- 22:32Speaker 1: got to do something good, then something's bad's happening. If
- 22:35Speaker 1: something's bad's happening, something good. So that's when you're going
- 22:39Speaker 1: through bad things. Know your life, you're sacrificing. So but
- 22:42Speaker 1: somebody else in the universe can have good.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, A spot on, brother, Damn if you're you're you're
- 22:49Speaker 2: raising the hair on the arms this morning, No, I
- 22:53Speaker 2: mean you got it?
- 22:54Speaker 1: You got it? Uh, Listen.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I want to inject some real, real solid positivity on
- 23:02Speaker 2: the air right now, and I want to take our
- 23:06Speaker 2: I want to take you. I want to take our
- 23:08Speaker 2: listeners just like we did yesterday morning up to a
- 23:12Speaker 2: live live shot right now up at stuff a truck. Oh, night,
- 23:18Speaker 2: which is happening up at Price Chopper and Randy you.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Know that guy, Randy L. Pratt Man, Oh that's who
- 23:25Speaker 1: that is. How are you, buddy? We're doing well. Man.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Listen, you're I'm guessing you're inside the camper up there
- 23:36Speaker 2: at Price Chopper, right.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I am John TJ. Behind me here.
- 23:41Speaker 2: There they are, Good morning, Good morning guys. How the
- 23:43Speaker 2: hell are you? That looks like a camper not a truck?
- 23:48Speaker 2: What are you stuffing? That's well, they're they're in the camper.
- 23:53Speaker 2: The truck is right next to them, fifty three foot looks. Look,
- 23:57Speaker 2: Randy's going to take us there.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Thank god. Look he's gonna take us there. Oh, he's
- 24:01Speaker 1: gonna take us to the truck.
- 24:03Speaker 2: He's taking us over to the Bellvans truck fifty three
- 24:05Speaker 2: feet long.
- 24:06Speaker 1: You can't say you're a stuff a truck and then
- 24:08Speaker 1: being a camper with two guys, right.
- 24:14Speaker 2: So listen, man, It's like this is the twenty fourth
- 24:18Speaker 2: year that this has been happening in our community, which
- 24:21Speaker 2: is unbelievable.
- 24:23Speaker 1: And to think that we've.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Had twenty three trucks, at least twenty three trucks that
- 24:31Speaker 2: have been full of nonperishable food right here in our community.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And now we're working on the twenty fourth year. Randy,
- 24:38Speaker 2: this is incredible, buddy. Tell us how things are going.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Look, we had a really good night day number one yesterday.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Usually it's fairly slow on day one, but as you
- 24:49Speaker 4: can see here that people really pull through yesterday. But
- 24:53Speaker 4: we are here until it gets filled. We're abounce i'd say,
- 24:57Speaker 4: a third of the way. So we're starting off good
- 24:59Speaker 4: for a friend, all right it, But come on by.
- 25:01Speaker 4: We're at market thirty sous here on the barry Montpillia
- 25:04Speaker 4: Road in Berlin, and all you gonna do is swing
- 25:06Speaker 4: on in and drop off your can a nonperishable food donation.
- 25:10Speaker 1: We're all here, We're all ready to grab it.
- 25:12Speaker 4: So you don't even have to get out of your
- 25:13Speaker 4: car if you don't want to see just pull up
- 25:15Speaker 4: and make that donation. Every can count, so no donations
- 25:19Speaker 4: too big or too small.
- 25:20Speaker 2: We have always talked about the power of numbers. It's like,
- 25:23Speaker 2: if everybody shows up with one box, one can you know,
- 25:28Speaker 2: one bag and if you listen, it's Friday.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Man.
- 25:32Speaker 2: If you're if you're doing a little bit of a
- 25:34Speaker 2: grocery shopping over at Price Chopper, maybe you're getting ready
- 25:37Speaker 2: to go to deer camp or whatever. Pick up one
- 25:41Speaker 2: extra item and you're right there. It's right there next
- 25:45Speaker 2: to you in the parking lot at price Chopper and
- 25:48Speaker 2: pull right up and hand it to them. You don't
- 25:50Speaker 2: have to get out of your thoms.
- 25:51Speaker 1: This is good press for every organization out there. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: you got your motorcycle clubs. Where's Andy Avery? Andy Avery
- 25:58Speaker 1: from the Defiant Crew. You've got Billy Blanden from the
- 26:02Speaker 1: Iron Order. You got the Vietnam Vet setter up here.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You have so many clubs. You've got Wilkins, you got
- 26:07Speaker 1: all these guys, the Elks Club, the Moose Club, everybody.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Everybody should be donating to this. Come on, it's food
- 26:14Speaker 1: for people, and it stays right here right and it's Vermont.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Come on, you'll it all. It all stays right here.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Goes over to Keith av Absolutely what this is Vermon's
- 26:25Speaker 1: helping vermontors. It's not a national fundraiser. This is Vermoner's
- 26:29Speaker 1: helping Vermoners. I am absolutely one calling every one of
- 26:32Speaker 1: them clubs out. I want to see all of you.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Travis byet Travis, where are you?
- 26:36Speaker 2: He knowing Travis, He's probably already better.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Have a big old box and all of his brothers
- 26:42Speaker 1: up there bringing a bunch of food. I would like
- 26:45Speaker 1: to see Travis and those guys Philip an F one fifty.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I think Bill has a F two
- 26:52Speaker 1: fifty phill it with food and deliver it.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, John Stacy, John Stacy, Yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Right, the aren order guys, and they're coming down at tomorrow.
- 27:04Speaker 3: There you go, c is coming down tomorrow. All that stuff.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that Christmas music that's going on in the background.
- 27:13Speaker 3: But yes, yes it is.
- 27:17Speaker 1: God. I wish my children's Christmas book had come in
- 27:22Speaker 1: and we could have read that today.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Are you John? Are you getting paid by the hour
- 27:28Speaker 2: to have to listen to Christmas music around the clock.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I mean, I am doing this for money, but I'll
- 27:35Speaker 5: tell you what, it's better than listening to TJ.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Listen, fella.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I saw you guys yesterday, and I'm saying that the
- 27:49Speaker 2: three of us, Me and you and TJ may have
- 27:54Speaker 2: possibly gained as much as five pounds over the last
- 27:58Speaker 2: couple of years.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Absolutely, you guys gained it. I lost it.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I actually, I actually I've actually lost sixty two pounds
- 28:07Speaker 5: since last September.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Are you shitting me, dude.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah, good for you, man, Wow, thank you John. We
- 28:14Speaker 2: were just saying, you know, the power of one here.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Man.
- 28:17Speaker 2: It's like, it's incredible that you guys can fill a
- 28:21Speaker 2: fifty three foot tractor trailer in the matter of just
- 28:24Speaker 2: a couple of days. And what that does is fill
- 28:27Speaker 2: the food pantry over on Keith Ab at the Salvation
- 28:31Speaker 2: Army for a full year.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Holy Yeah.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Usually that's that's the the mission is to get this
- 28:37Speaker 5: truck full. And generally when we get one truck full,
- 28:39Speaker 5: it fills for the whole year. I mean, obviously, if
- 28:44Speaker 5: the band's more, it doesn't last a year.
- 28:46Speaker 3: But they they were.
- 28:48Speaker 5: They had quite a bit of food up until probably
- 28:51Speaker 5: like August, and then the whole shutdown happened and they
- 28:54Speaker 5: got really bad.
- 28:55Speaker 3: And I was down there.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Wednesday afternoon looking at the pantry to see what space
- 29:01Speaker 5: we had, and it were I ain't kidding. There was
- 29:05Speaker 5: probably less than seventy five items on every shelf and
- 29:10Speaker 5: there's like thirty shelves down there.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Wow. Last there was.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Kimmy beans and it's a very very little amount of things,
- 29:17Speaker 5: And I was like, wow, this is insane.
- 29:19Speaker 3: So it's very humble to see that.
- 29:21Speaker 2: If you can, please save a box of craft macaroni
- 29:24Speaker 2: and cheese for Rex.
- 29:25Speaker 1: But last night when I.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Was up there in there somewhere.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Last night, when I was up there, we had a
- 29:31Speaker 2: comment from someone saying, you know what about other things
- 29:35Speaker 2: like like coats and gloves and mittens and stuff for
- 29:38Speaker 2: the for the socks and stuff for the warm weather.
- 29:41Speaker 2: But here's the thing, man, It's like, this is specifically
- 29:45Speaker 2: non perishable food.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so we do have like right behind night here
- 29:49Speaker 5: there's some turkeys. There's six turkeys, and uh, it's been
- 29:53Speaker 5: cold enough we can keep right here. But the lieutenants
- 29:56Speaker 5: from the Salvationary come and pick them up.
- 29:58Speaker 3: People brought potatoes on in. And what they do is
- 30:01Speaker 3: that they do a turkey.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Dinner next week for for anybody who wants it for free.
- 30:05Speaker 5: I'm not sure the details of it, but I know
- 30:06Speaker 5: they'll be frost these turkeys and they'll feed anybody who
- 30:10Speaker 5: wants to Thanksgiving meal, and then they do meals throughout
- 30:13Speaker 5: the year. So anything that's still left frozen turkeys, hams,
- 30:16Speaker 5: et cetera, they'll they'll use them throughout the year or donate.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Them to people who need them.
- 30:20Speaker 5: Because they do have freezers and coolers there, but it's
- 30:23Speaker 5: more non perishable items.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Listen, I it looks like and I could be wrong here,
- 30:29Speaker 2: but it looks like none of those turkeys have been pardoned.
- 30:34Speaker 3: No, no, they're they're not pardoned.
- 30:36Speaker 5: They are wrapped and frozen and juicy.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, John, you know, you and I know what an
- 30:43Speaker 1: unpardoned turkey looks like.
- 30:46Speaker 2: John, John, you know what an unpardoned turkey looks like.
- 30:49Speaker 3: This. It looks like that.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It looks like this guy sitting next to me on
- 30:52Speaker 2: the couch right here. Listen, you and I were chatting, uh,
- 30:58Speaker 2: yesterday or the day before, I can remember, and one
- 31:01Speaker 2: of the things that we were saying is that older
- 31:03Speaker 2: people here in our community in central Framat are why
- 31:06Speaker 2: are you pointing at me?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Are good?
- 31:08Speaker 2: Well you're over fifty, uh, are having a harder and
- 31:14Speaker 2: harder and harder time trying to make ends meat. They're
- 31:16Speaker 2: having it to decide between whether they're going to take
- 31:19Speaker 2: care of their pet, whether they're going to get their
- 31:22Speaker 2: medicine prescription filled, or whether they're going to have their
- 31:25Speaker 2: heat on, or whether they're gonna have food on their table.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Clarity of not knowing where your next meal comes from.
- 31:31Speaker 5: This alleviates that to to to use your mind toward
- 31:35Speaker 5: the heating bill or the electric bill.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Or I've ad out of them feashells before stuff. I know.
- 31:41Speaker 5: So this is the whole purpose of that mission, that
- 31:43Speaker 5: missionary there is to help you alleviate that that that
- 31:46Speaker 5: stress of I'm able to heat my house or medicine
- 31:51Speaker 5: or something like that.
- 31:52Speaker 2: So sure tell us about lepratte here. We have a
- 31:55Speaker 2: question about personal hygiene items, whether or not you guys
- 32:00Speaker 2: we're gonna be collected. Are you going to be collecting
- 32:02Speaker 2: any personal hygiene items? And who needs personal hygiene more?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Right now?
- 32:07Speaker 2: You Randy or t J. I'm guessing it's TJ.
- 32:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna say it's TJ, then me because Randy he
- 32:15Speaker 5: goes and showers because he goes to jank stuff.
- 32:18Speaker 3: So PG and I have been here. We're right, we're
- 32:21Speaker 3: lots of deodorant.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's airborne infantry bro. He knows how to
- 32:26Speaker 1: do them horror baths. I've been there.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Seriously, are you guys collecting any personal hygiene items? That's
- 32:37Speaker 2: a question we're getting asked right now.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I don't.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I don't see why we couldn't. I mean, it's like
- 32:44Speaker 3: I said, the main.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Focus is not fairs for food or food i've seen here,
- 32:49Speaker 5: but if okay, actually though I saw there's quite a
- 32:51Speaker 5: few like feminine products like tampons and then etcetera.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Listen through some love, Randy la Pratt right next to you, man,
- 33:01Speaker 2: this guy is this is year number thirteen thirteen.
- 33:06Speaker 1: He's thirteen. He was eleven years old when this thing started.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Jen, it was a little tiny boy Jesus bay Ago.
- 33:17Speaker 2: And you've you've never missed a year in thirteen years
- 33:21Speaker 2: of being a part of this, Randy.
- 33:23Speaker 3: No, No, this is a big thing I do every year.
- 33:26Speaker 4: It means a lot, and it's truly heartwarming at the
- 33:30Speaker 4: end when all of a sudden done to see see
- 33:32Speaker 4: this truck full and no, it stays right here in
- 33:34Speaker 4: our community. Is That's why it's important to me, because
- 33:37Speaker 4: it all stays right here in our community. And that's
- 33:39Speaker 4: really big for me.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I love that and I've always loved that part about
- 33:44Speaker 2: it as well a lot. Yesterday you were seventeen. How
- 33:49Speaker 2: old are you now?
- 33:51Speaker 4: Thirty three?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you can fight off the spankings now that's crazy.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Listen, man, we all we've all heard plenty in the
- 34:03Speaker 2: news about snap benefits, and we've all heard some real
- 34:08Speaker 2: genuine concern about ver Honors being able to have some
- 34:12Speaker 2: food on their table this year.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And this is very little to do with the Snap benefit. Man,
- 34:18Speaker 1: there's a lot of stuff that's going on. That's there's
- 34:23Speaker 1: stuff going on nationally, but there's stuff going on right
- 34:25Speaker 1: here in our state and nationally. We need to start
- 34:27Speaker 1: thinking about our own neighbors. Yeah, you're right, we need
- 34:30Speaker 1: to build our communities back. That's what we need.
- 34:33Speaker 5: TJ mentioned like one in three or one in five
- 34:36Speaker 5: families are depending on you know, food shelves like this
- 34:41Speaker 5: and alone, so that's a lot.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, there's four of.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Us here talking so one about one.
- 34:48Speaker 5: One more person here potentially needs food and security, it
- 34:51Speaker 5: needs needs help.
- 34:52Speaker 2: So it's so quick, it's so simple. You pull up.
- 34:56Speaker 2: If you have something that you're you know, in your
- 34:58Speaker 2: pantry at home that you're not going to use. Let's
- 35:00Speaker 2: let's say you got to kick a couple of cans
- 35:02Speaker 2: of refried beans and you're like, you're not really big
- 35:04Speaker 2: fan of refried beans, Throw them in the car, bring
- 35:06Speaker 2: them down there, pull up and they're gonna take them
- 35:09Speaker 2: right out of the car and get it blooded up
- 35:11Speaker 2: into the truck.
- 35:13Speaker 3: It doesn't matter if you have one can or thirty bags.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Sure exactly.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Any anyone that you want to throw some love out
- 35:19Speaker 2: to that that is, has anyone showed up like the
- 35:22Speaker 2: Scouts or or anyone I know the big Man Santa
- 35:25Speaker 2: Claus is coming into town tonight, possibly.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Is coming. But for so far we've had Bear City
- 35:32Speaker 3: schools showing up. Uh.
- 35:37Speaker 5: I asked the girls three times what this was called.
- 35:39Speaker 5: It was the from ot board, my board insurance teachers
- 35:45Speaker 5: and something from out board Teachers Insurance. There the ladies
- 35:48Speaker 5: brought one massive car load and they're coming with another
- 35:51Speaker 5: one today.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 5: RK Miles came with a car load. There's so many
- 35:59Speaker 5: there's so many things that come in. I have all
- 36:01Speaker 5: the pictures of it, and I can tell you if
- 36:02Speaker 5: I see the pictures.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's we're you're talking.
- 36:05Speaker 1: That's people need to be paying attention.
- 36:08Speaker 2: People need to be paying attention to pack the pantry
- 36:11Speaker 2: on Facebook.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Yeap or or w W dot Pack the Pantry vt
- 36:16Speaker 5: dot com. If you can't make it here, there's a
- 36:18Speaker 5: there's a QR code or a link you can click

- 36:26Speaker 5: can donate right there and that money you dodah.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you could insta cart and door dash.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Of course you couldst car.
- 36:36Speaker 3: From Newport.
- 36:37Speaker 5: Who uh two years ago, my friendly Anne, she instcarted
- 36:43Speaker 5: a from Newport from a man. But she called somebody
- 36:46Speaker 5: down here forst the cart. They went and picked out
- 36:49Speaker 5: three hundred dollars with the groceries. They delivered it right here.
- 36:53Speaker 1: If you if you put the address, hey, hey, hey,
- 36:56Speaker 1: my man, if you put the address up there, because
- 37:00Speaker 1: he's national, he's getting a million views a month. But
- 37:02Speaker 1: if you put the address up there, people can fucking
- 37:04Speaker 1: instacart you. That's a great idea. What I'm gonna instacart.
- 37:09Speaker 1: That's how I'm gonna do.
- 37:10Speaker 2: A price chopper. What what's the address? Well, we'll find it.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I'll pull it up and drive.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You're at price chopper.
- 37:16Speaker 3: What is with me?
- 37:17Speaker 1: Rex? Price schopper? What do you mean from me?
- 37:22Speaker 3: You're down? You're down on my player or a Barry

- 37:33Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yes, so that's what So you
- 37:35Speaker 3: guys are.
- 37:36Speaker 1: At price shopper, that's what you're saying. Yeah, so they
- 37:38Speaker 1: just need the address when you do instacart.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's one sixty eight As Drive, Barry Vermont.
- 37:43Speaker 1: There. There it is. We'll pin that in the comment.

- 37:49Speaker 1: to get out, because that's what.
- 37:50Speaker 2: We are, really out of state somewhere, yes, say they're.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Out of state absolutely, and they can and they still
- 37:57Speaker 1: want to help feed some hungry people said one six
- 38:01Speaker 1: eight Ames Drive, Ames Drive, remember the old Ames here

- 38:10Speaker 5: You guys, this lady pulled up right now and she
- 38:13Speaker 5: she didn't have groceries, but she donates some money and
- 38:16Speaker 5: the money's put it right inside the kettle.
- 38:18Speaker 3: There it is, and that's what we do with it.

- 38:26Speaker 1: got some great restaurants that are helping you out and
- 38:28Speaker 1: feeding you guys breakfast, lunch, dinner. Around the clocks. Uh
- 38:32Speaker 1: they stay there, Yeah, they stay there. Oh that's fucking
- 38:35Speaker 1: around the clock, dude, I'd be so fucked up. I'd
- 38:39Speaker 1: be drinking whiskey for days on end. Well breakfast.
- 38:44Speaker 5: We dabble sometimes on some heavier sodas, but not the major.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:50Speaker 3: We keep it.
- 38:51Speaker 1: We're here collecting there we do. That's dedication because you
- 38:56Speaker 1: guys are doing this right in the heart of deer season.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Who else takes off deer season to help?

- 39:17Speaker 2: with you.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I mean, hey, John, are you related to the Loose? Yeah? Yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 1: Roy Loosed, Richie Loose, all them, Marie Stacy. Are you
- 39:30Speaker 1: reading Albert and them boys?
- 39:33Speaker 3: Yeah, spell and spelled differently.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Let's ship.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Let's get something straight about John Stacy. He's related to everybody.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Yes, the Stacey's were a huge family. They had a
- 39:43Speaker 1: couple of them old boys. They were breeding all around town.
- 39:48Speaker 1: He knows it.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Guys, I don't have more than two kids.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Yeah, summer kids. Some are here, so are there?
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yeah, buddy, you guys are doing a hell of a
- 40:00Speaker 2: job up there. Kudos to you and Randy and TJ,
- 40:04Speaker 2: and kudos mostly to our community for showing up and
- 40:09Speaker 2: making this a success for the twenty fourth year, which
- 40:14Speaker 2: is underway right now.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Think about that.
- 40:16Speaker 2: That's amazing, dude, Price chop birds where you are. Thanks John.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll see you hopefully see you guys later today
- 40:23Speaker 5: and hopefully the cars come in.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I'll be up there all right, man. I can't wait.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Man, take care.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great stuff. Listen, you know, I want to
- 40:31Speaker 2: throw some some love this morning at beauf Airs.
- 40:35Speaker 1: God, dude, he's been around for it's such a good dude.
- 40:40Speaker 1: We used to bring all to as the family, Gwen. Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: the whole family. Yeah. They went through a lot, really
- 40:48Speaker 1: tough time when it got flooded. He had cancer. They
- 40:51Speaker 1: just yeah, two floods. Yeah, and that old man was
- 40:56Speaker 1: down there like going what, going through treatments, trying to
- 40:59Speaker 1: muck out the he'st been by himself.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it was insane, super tough dude. I got over
- 41:06Speaker 2: and chatted with Meghan a little bit. Meghan Beaufaire, fifth
- 41:11Speaker 2: generation Beaufair Wow, fifth generation.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:17Speaker 2: They've been in business right there since nineteen fifty Rex.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Yep. They've repaired a lot of my.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Boot seventy five years and they just you know, Meghan
- 41:33Speaker 2: was saying a compilation of a couple of reasons, but
- 41:37Speaker 2: some of which it's almost becoming a lost art to have.
- 41:42Speaker 1: A co about to say that people are buying. Like
- 41:46Speaker 1: when I bought a three dollars pair of chipawaws and
- 41:49Speaker 1: the souls and stuff started ripping, you brought them over
- 41:51Speaker 1: to bow Air. You didn't just throw them away. You'd
- 41:55Speaker 1: get another four or five years out of them. Hot
- 41:57Speaker 1: rods exactly. That's why having them repaired. But not only that,
- 42:01Speaker 1: they had the leather goods. I loved going in there
- 42:02Speaker 1: and all the if you ride motorcycles and you wear vests,
- 42:06Speaker 1: they that they had all the leather sewing machines. They
- 42:09Speaker 1: did all the patch work for people.
- 42:11Speaker 2: You know, they've got plenty of leather vests over there
- 42:14Speaker 2: and chaps and everything. Right now what they everything out
- 42:17Speaker 2: of business sale.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I'm definitely going over there to support them. One percent.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'll buy a new vest. Well it lasts. I mean,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it's like, bro, they're liquidating hardcore, right Kenny Kenny? Where
- 42:32Speaker 1: are you at? Kenny Kenny? So I'm gonna get Kenny
- 42:37Speaker 1: down here. Yeah no, really, that's serious. He'll buy you
- 42:40Speaker 1: know what. I'm not even gonna buy a vest Kenny,
- 42:44Speaker 1: I'm a large. What size are you? Probably an EXCELX.
- 42:50Speaker 1: He's definitely an Xcel with chain extenders, you know, Kenny, Kenny,
- 42:57Speaker 1: Christmas is soon, Ver's can.
- 43:00Speaker 2: The last thing that you or anyone else wants to
- 43:04Speaker 2: see is me in a leather vest.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Dude, No, look who you're talking. I was in a
- 43:10Speaker 1: lead psycho club. I've seen much worse. No I no, okay,
- 43:14Speaker 1: Now imagine you with a hairy chest and no shirt
- 43:17Speaker 1: on in a vest with j nixtenders.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I'm five four, two hundred and eight pounds. You do
- 43:22Speaker 2: not want to see me in a leather vest. I
- 43:24Speaker 2: have no business. The word leather doesn't belong anywhere on
- 43:28Speaker 2: my body.
- 43:29Speaker 1: What are those asslest chaps hanging in your room?
- 43:32Speaker 2: That's between Charylyn and I and that has That's none
- 43:35Speaker 2: of your goddamn business. Stay out of it. Okay, that's
- 43:38Speaker 2: my private stuff that happens behind my bedroom door. Uh
- 43:44Speaker 2: and listen, Speaking of which, Sherilyn had one hell of
- 43:50Speaker 2: a night last night with me.
- 43:52Speaker 1: No, why, oh my god, she is.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I'll just say this morning, she is a smile from
- 44:01Speaker 2: ear to ear. I mean, she couldn't be any happier
- 44:07Speaker 2: than she is. Right now. You know why, because I
- 44:11Speaker 2: because I did. I slept on the couch last night.
- 44:14Speaker 1: For ten years, I slept on the couch.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I slept on the couch so bad. I've been coughing.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I've had a cough and when I lay down it
- 44:23Speaker 2: gets worse. And last night I just was like, nope,
- 44:27Speaker 2: going down to the couch. She is so happy she
- 44:31Speaker 2: finally got a full night sleep. She oh, she is.
- 44:34Speaker 2: I mean, she looks like a refreshed woman.
- 44:37Speaker 1: For you know. I've been on the inside of this house.
- 44:40Speaker 1: It's an older house over here in Berry and so
- 44:43Speaker 1: my other crews were up on another job that they're
- 44:47Speaker 1: finishing up up in Northfield and then another house that
- 44:50Speaker 1: we have going on in Brookfield, but they're finishing them up.
- 44:52Speaker 1: So all my guys are busy. So mean, I've had
- 44:55Speaker 1: my daughter down there and it's been me and my
- 44:57Speaker 1: daughter and it's been so fun, just me and her. Her. Yeah. Inside,
- 45:01Speaker 1: we've been doing what's called the level five mudding, okay,
- 45:06Speaker 1: and we skim we're skim coating all of the horse
- 45:08Speaker 1: hair plaster. I even molded all the rounded corners and shit,
- 45:13Speaker 1: it looks beautiful. It looks really good. We're getting ready
- 45:16Speaker 1: with the guys are real. Yeah, well no, I So
- 45:20Speaker 1: I went over the plaster. I skim coat it. What
- 45:22Speaker 1: you do is you use like in easy C ninety
- 45:26Speaker 1: and you make it water. You make it just a
- 45:29Speaker 1: bit thicker than pain. And I have a big nappy
- 45:32Speaker 1: roller and you roll it all on. This is how
- 45:34Speaker 1: you make a texture ceiling. And you just roll it
- 45:37Speaker 1: on and then you have I have this like three
- 45:40Speaker 1: foot blade and it's super pliable and as I run
- 45:44Speaker 1: it across the walls, there's no streaks, and what it
- 45:47Speaker 1: does it levels it and then I go down through
- 45:49Speaker 1: and I have a power a big power stander that
- 45:52Speaker 1: hooks to a vacuum and you level out the walls.
- 45:55Speaker 1: So that's why I was there till almost six o'clock
- 45:58Speaker 1: last night because my in Florida. So I've been.
- 46:03Speaker 2: The last time, the last time. The last time that
- 46:06Speaker 2: I called rex Uh. He was running one of those
- 46:10Speaker 2: sanders and had some drills going and everything. In the
- 46:14Speaker 2: background he's covered in sheet rock, dust and everything, and
- 46:17Speaker 2: blasting in the background was air supply.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and oh on it was me and ed the
- 46:29Speaker 1: two big assles in there.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Air supply.
- 46:34Speaker 1: It just happened. That was on my pill door list. Good.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Hey, the Texans beat the Bills last night twenty three nineteen.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Which don't follow baseball.
- 46:46Speaker 2: I know you don't follow baseball, and that's okay, that's
- 46:49Speaker 2: all right. But let's talk about fighting. Let's talk about
- 46:55Speaker 2: let's let's talk about mixed martial arts.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Jandy, don't say, because if you say fighting, that implies
- 47:03Speaker 1: that people are exerting aggression and violence towards each other. No, no, no, no, no,
- 47:11Speaker 1: talk about fighting. I uh, in December. I'm not saying where,
- 47:14Speaker 1: not even gonna give the date. But I'm gonna go
- 47:16Speaker 1: to a smoke or fight down there. That'll be fun. Okay,
- 47:22Speaker 1: We're gonna go do some kickboxing, all right. So they
- 47:26Speaker 1: said they had another old man. We'd go down there
- 47:28Speaker 1: and all right, have a geriatric fight. I don't want
- 47:32Speaker 1: to get beat up by the young guys. I don't
- 47:34Speaker 1: have that in I understand.
- 47:36Speaker 2: I mean, I will, but let's let's try not. Let's
- 47:40Speaker 2: talk about the Battle in Burry eighteen.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Absolutely, the Battle in Bury eighteen. I think we're gonna
- 47:45Speaker 1: change the name of that DBFP eighteen. Yeah, because we're
- 47:52Speaker 1: more than just Barry, We're a regional. We've really grown.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So we're huge in New England. Everybody from New York
- 48:02Speaker 1: to New England. I mean, we have pro fighters that
- 48:05Speaker 1: were flying in really yeah, I mean our like our
- 48:10Speaker 1: our March card and we're not sure that that's even
- 48:13Speaker 1: gonna be done here in Berry, but our March card is, uh,
- 48:17Speaker 1: we're flying in Sammy Mongoonia and he's gonna fight John
- 48:22Speaker 1: Pena for that DBFP World Small Gold that'll be done
- 48:28Speaker 1: in a boxing ring. We've actually thought March. Yeah, we're
- 48:31Speaker 1: we're we're up in the air on whether we make
- 48:34Speaker 1: it a black tie event for VIPs kind of thing there.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Please can I come? Can I invite myself?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Of course? I don't want to miss that. So yeah,
- 48:44Speaker 1: we we've we're growing. It's uh, I got you know
- 48:51Speaker 1: the winds of change things are happening.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Well, you're growing, Yeah, you're getting I mean Donnybrook Fight
- 48:56Speaker 2: Promotions is.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we have we have US fighters coming.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Here now exactly exactly, So that's yeah.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Our pay per view sales are what we bring
- 49:09Speaker 1: to the economy when we come into an area. I mean,
- 49:14Speaker 1: we're not talking about just the fees that I pay
- 49:16Speaker 1: for the auditorium. Those are I mean, because they have
- 49:20Speaker 1: their staff, we have the permits, the money that we
- 49:25Speaker 1: put into the FEDS, the money that we have to
- 49:27Speaker 1: put into the state. Then there's also the local permitting,
- 49:31Speaker 1: the local contracts that we have to have with the
- 49:35Speaker 1: police fire. So you know, there's probably four thousand dollars
- 49:40Speaker 1: around four thousand dollars just for that kind of stuff.
- 49:43Speaker 1: But then we bring in you got your fighters, you
- 49:46Speaker 1: got your teams, you got their fans. They go up
- 49:49Speaker 1: their their families and their families, so they're and they
- 49:52Speaker 1: stay right at the comfort in up there. So the
- 49:55Speaker 1: comfort In alone is making like ten grand a night
- 49:58Speaker 1: from from those things coming. And then they all so
- 50:01Speaker 1: that the thing is is they weigh in on Friday,
- 50:04Speaker 1: and they spend the whole day down here in Barry
- 50:06Speaker 1: with their families and and checking out our little town.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And they love to go to like the restaurants up
- 50:12Speaker 1: there and tell people how they're the fighters and stuff,
- 50:14Speaker 1: and so they there's probably you know, each show that
- 50:19Speaker 1: we do, let's say we do let's say we do
- 50:23Speaker 1: three shows a year, we're probably bringing probably close to
- 50:27Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars into the each one of the shows.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Right now, we're gonna do three we're gonna do three,
- 50:35Speaker 1: but you've done four, yes, okay? And if we do floor,
- 50:39Speaker 1: and that's gonna be on my daughter because she's really
- 50:41Speaker 1: the one. I'm trying to get far away from it.
- 50:44Speaker 1: And it goes back to my emotional responses and I
- 50:50Speaker 1: those have ruined opportunities for my daughter and I don't
- 50:54Speaker 1: want so I'm kind of stepping back from that whole thing.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I'm still doing the matchmaking, but I don't want to
- 51:00Speaker 1: be so hands on because because of my own when
- 51:04Speaker 1: I start getting stressed, it makes me super easy to
- 51:08Speaker 1: snap really quick, especially if somebody is like I can't
- 51:12Speaker 1: take an energy from somebody. If somebody starts hollering at me,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I instantly like we we're we're gonna end this right now.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I have to and I can be aggressive when I
- 51:22Speaker 1: do that. So that's where I you know, I I
- 51:28Speaker 1: really want to see my daughter grow that business and
- 51:31Speaker 1: and go from there.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Yeah, she does what she does best. You do what
- 51:37Speaker 2: you do best.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I mean, have you seen like Margaret our new mc
- 51:41Speaker 1: fee that comes from believe or like, oh my god,
- 51:45Speaker 1: she has millions of followers on Instagram? Just you have
- 51:50Speaker 1: you have Kevin McDonald who every weekend is reffing at
- 51:54Speaker 1: the UFC up. There you have people like Glover tech
- 51:58Speaker 1: Era sitting on the front steps of the Bury auditor. Yeah,
- 52:02Speaker 1: that's insane, man. So that I mean, I think Berry
- 52:06Speaker 1: City we brought a lot, but we have a lot.
- 52:09Speaker 1: We also have other venues that are asking us. Windsor's huge.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Windsor's been begging us to go down there.
- 52:15Speaker 2: What about Burlington.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Burlington's another one. There's another venue up there. They've asked
- 52:20Speaker 1: us about that, and it's probably time we start exploring
- 52:25Speaker 1: because I don't want to. Kidder says.
- 52:28Speaker 2: The problem is we don't have hotels to house bigger
- 52:31Speaker 2: events in central Vermont.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Wild Yeah, no, it's but comfort In is building is
- 52:38Speaker 1: going to be building one because like the Double Tree,
- 52:40Speaker 1: In has a twelve thousand square foot ballroom up there
- 52:44Speaker 1: where all the fighters that they have an indoor pool,
- 52:46Speaker 1: they have a gym facility, so you could have the
- 52:48Speaker 1: fights up there and it would be you know, that's
- 52:52Speaker 1: a something like that.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I would like to do a charity fight with at Colin.
- 53:00Speaker 1: That old ron Tollman, what's that they're putting the flags up.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I would like to do a charity event if possible
- 53:13Speaker 2: with at Collins a charity fight. I would like to
- 53:17Speaker 2: take on that.
- 53:18Speaker 1: No, no, right now, adds not in that right headspace.
- 53:23Speaker 1: And if he aspires with somebody, he's gonna beat the
- 53:26Speaker 1: ship right out of him, even me, even you.
- 53:29Speaker 2: What if I but he knows, he knows I'm a lover,
- 53:32Speaker 2: not a fighter.
- 53:33Speaker 1: But if you put gloves on and try to punch him,
- 53:35Speaker 1: he's gonna beat you up. What if I don't put
- 53:36Speaker 1: gloves on and you try to punch him, he's gonna
- 53:39Speaker 1: beat the ship out of you. What if I grease
- 53:42Speaker 1: myself up with chrisc and put on a speedo and
- 53:46Speaker 1: then he's gonna body slam you and beat the Ship'll
- 53:47Speaker 1: never catch me, though he would catch you. I doubt
- 53:50Speaker 1: he could catch a grease pig. He'd catch you.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Are you saying I'm a Are you saying I'm piggy?
- 53:57Speaker 2: Are you calling? Are you calling me a piggy?
- 54:00Speaker 1: Piggy? Now? Did you just call me a piggy? Calm here,
- 54:03Speaker 1: a little piggy ass? No, all right, I can't get
- 54:06Speaker 1: in with that one, because that was we. I think
- 54:09Speaker 1: everybody knows what I'm referencing to, and he did not.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I don't believe that he said piggy. The reporter's name
- 54:14Speaker 1: was Peggy. I just think that he always talks with
- 54:17Speaker 1: a mouthful of marbles. So I mean, there's enough wrong
- 54:21Speaker 1: with the guy that but I'm not I'm not following
- 54:24Speaker 1: that one.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Did you hear Catherine yesterday addressing this, who's Katherine the
- 54:29Speaker 2: Press Secretary?
- 54:30Speaker 1: No? No, okay, I was not going to get home
- 54:33Speaker 1: until like six thirty wow. And then I got in
- 54:36Speaker 1: the sana and fucking wind to bed me and Athena
- 54:40Speaker 1: loved Ancient Aliens and fell asleep.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Today's National Stuffing Day today. Yesterday we were talking about
- 54:47Speaker 2: the difference between stuffing and dressing. Stuffing, Gee was telling
- 54:53Speaker 2: me it goes in the bird. Dressing is stuffing that
- 54:57Speaker 2: you make that is never in the bird. It's just
- 54:59Speaker 2: made on the outside.
- 55:00Speaker 1: And that's that. Did you know that?
- 55:03Speaker 2: Probably not things you learn. I learned it yesterday. What
- 55:07Speaker 2: What's what's Rex doing for Thanksgiving?
- 55:15Speaker 1: Really? You know what I used to do? You know
- 55:17Speaker 1: what I think is really good and I think everybody
- 55:19Speaker 1: should do it.
- 55:20Speaker 2: I really, really, you're gonna go hunting at all?
- 55:22Speaker 1: No, I don't want my When my kids were growing up,
- 55:28Speaker 1: the one thing that I made them do. Is we
- 55:31Speaker 1: spent two Thanksgivings feeding the homeless when they were teenagers
- 55:37Speaker 1: because I never wanted them to judge people by their
- 55:41Speaker 1: social status, and I forced them to talk to those
- 55:44Speaker 1: people and get to know them as a human. That's
- 55:49Speaker 1: a real good thing for any family to do, Like
- 55:53Speaker 1: just pick it, like, hey, let's just go do Thanksgiving.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Let's let's volunteer and serve people and sit down and
- 56:00Speaker 1: talk and just it put a human face on them people. Yeah,
- 56:05Speaker 1: That's why I'm biased about like immigrants, I'm super biased
- 56:09Speaker 1: because I lived with those people. I can I put
- 56:13Speaker 1: a face on them as a human that they're not
- 56:15Speaker 1: a statistic.
- 56:17Speaker 2: This is uh, when you served in the military in
- 56:21Speaker 2: South America, right, Okay? Any any football watching you even
- 56:31Speaker 2: sit on the couch with the jammies and scratch.
- 56:34Speaker 1: The next You know what I I don't I'll probably
- 56:37Speaker 1: You know what I'll do is I'll probably cook a
- 56:39Speaker 1: small hand like a like a turkey breast. Yeah maybe,
- 56:42Speaker 1: or maybe I will maybe I'll cook a full turkey.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I don't know, Uh, just because I like the leftovers.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I like the my wife makes those egg rolls. Sure
- 56:51Speaker 1: what they had? You ever seen them with the with
- 56:54Speaker 1: the turkey, the po data, and then you dip them
- 56:57Speaker 1: in the freaking gravy. Oh yeah, see, I could eat
- 57:01Speaker 1: them for days. The other thing is is I'll probably
- 57:04Speaker 1: sit down. I'll probably eat about five thousand milligrams of edibles.
- 57:08Speaker 1: See what kind of movies are on? I have a
- 57:10Speaker 1: recliner because I don't get a lot of like, I
- 57:12Speaker 1: don't get time to sit in my recliner with my
- 57:14Speaker 1: feet up, with my dog in my lap, watch a
- 57:16Speaker 1: good movie because I usually fall asleep in my chair
- 57:20Speaker 1: and then yeah, wake up to her licking my face
- 57:22Speaker 1: at three o'clock in the morning. Time to go to
- 57:24Speaker 1: bed for.
- 57:24Speaker 2: The next lick in your face or sitting on your face.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yes, she does that, She actually does that.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Moving along FGB Theaters dot Com. Here's what's playing right now.

- 57:48Speaker 1: Sort of movies on Thanksgiving?
- 57:49Speaker 2: Yes, of course they do.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Dude, that might give me something to do. Do they

- 57:59Speaker 1: to find it this.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Do you have a black market service dog Vest.
- 58:04Speaker 1: They sell them on Amazon for five bucks.
- 58:09Speaker 2: But FGB Theaters has been a presenting sponsor of the
- 58:13Speaker 2: Aired Out podcast pretty much since like the first year,
- 58:18Speaker 2: I want to say, even maybe within the first six
- 58:21Speaker 2: months when I started this thing in twenty eighteen, and
- 58:23Speaker 2: they've been with me since, so I love them. Capital
- 58:27Speaker 2: Showplace in Montpellier. Now you see me three Nuremberg is
- 58:31Speaker 2: playing Rental Family, Springsteen Wicked for Good. Everybody's freaking out

- 58:44Speaker 1: telling me that she wanted to go see that. You should.

- 58:48Speaker 1: last night? She came over. We ordered a pizza because
- 58:51Speaker 1: I got home late, so we ordered a pizza. Me
- 58:53Speaker 1: and her. Her boyfriend is up skating.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Dude.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I love having my kids come on like live next
- 58:57Speaker 1: to me and I know. So she just came over.
- 59:00Speaker 1: We hung out, We ate pizza, We watched The Avatar
- 59:03Speaker 1: until we started nosing on and then she had to
- 59:04Speaker 1: go home take care of her dogs. Yeah, she's a
- 59:06Speaker 1: good kid, Yes she is.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Paramount Twin has a Predator, Badlands and The Running Man
- 59:13Speaker 2: coming soon. Avatar, Fire and ash who. Yeah, we should
- 59:20Speaker 2: go see that The housemade Eternity five nights at Freddy's
- 59:25Speaker 2: to Zutopia, The SpongeBob Bob Movie. You should go see
- 59:29Speaker 2: that with Big Ed saw te up a bunch of mushrooms.
- 59:34Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, saw up some mushrooms and
- 59:37Speaker 2: then go see the SpongeBob movie. But anyway, f gb
- 59:41Speaker 2: theaters dot com to see all the show times, the listings,
- 59:45Speaker 2: get your tickets into bad.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Look who's on there? Cory. Guess who Cory is? So
- 59:51Speaker 1: introduce Cory. Cory is Dante's mom. Dante is one of
- 59:57Speaker 1: my soudents. So you'll see him tomorrow because he's so happy.
- 59:59Speaker 1: He sent me a video this morning telling me that
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he was going to beat the shit out of me good.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: So yeah, I was like, I'm excited. So you wait
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: as soon as he comes out of that dressing room
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: with his gee and I'm gonna grab him with so
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: much he'll be like, Ah, it'll be fun.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Tell everybody about Dante and what you do on Saturday morning.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Okay, So Dante's my man. He's been coming to Granite
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: City MMA forever like three years now. He's just been
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: there forever he's autistic. Yeah, we overlooked that. So to me,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: he's just uh teenage boy that has trouble putting paragraphs together. Okay,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So other than that, yeah, he's my he's my boy,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: he's my buddy. We not really my boy. I was
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: joking about the summer kids summer here somewhere there. That's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: why I don't register ancestry dot com. So anyway, Dante,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: he's my good man. So we train him. What happened
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: was years ago, I watched the video of somebody that
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: didn't know how to deal with an autistic person, so
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: they threw him down on the bus floor and sat
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: on his back, and I listened to Dante's scream and
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: it broke my heart. I was like, oh, fuck, no,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: that's never happening again. So and to this day, that's
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: never happening again to him. So we start. It was
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: a learning curve for me because I've never I've never
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: tried to teach somebody. I've never tried to I've never
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: been around special needs except my brother.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: So yeah, that's a whole different podcast.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: So it was a challenge. It was a learning process,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and I've been an instructor for quite a while. You
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: can ask Lucas and and it's uh, it's always a
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: learning process. So everybody's different on how they learn, and
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: it's my job to make sure that they can learn
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: from me. Right, they paid it, They paid Lucas to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: come to that gym. They pay to learn jiu jitsu.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: So I have to ensure every person is learning jiu
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: jitsu that's in my class up there. So and the
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: same thing Lucas ensures that people are learning that you're
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: actually learning. So that's what. So that's what we did.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: It was a struggle and and and we we It
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: was a how do you say things? We learned Like
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: we used to do striking, we stopped doing striking. We
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: don't do that. So everything is escaping, being able to
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: block himself when somebody tries to punch him. We have
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: guarding that we do. So and I continue training. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: continue my own knowledge. I go to other places like
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I go up and I'll train with Crew Ballard up
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: there for to learn some new techniques through Japanese jiu jitsu.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I'll hit an advanced class around here just to learn
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: different things on how different people teach. I'll go see
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Mike di on A and go up and sit in
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: his advanced class. I'll sit in Lucas's. I'm normally at
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Lucas's advanced classes and and sit there whatever new techniques
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I can learn. So I'm always learning. I've never I
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: won't stop learning. I love jiu jitsu too much, and
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I love bringing back what I learn back to my people.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Is there another mixed martial arts organization that you know
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: of that is working with with people who are who
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: learn differently, folks with autism or any other disability.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Absolutely? Absolutely. I don't know about MMA. I can't name
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: them off that, but most most martial arts places have
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: have some sort of that they might have one or
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: two people that are special needs or something like that. Okay, yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I mean it's not uncommon.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I think it's wonderful what you do. I think it's
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: incredible that you bring that to My viewers are followers
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: right here on this platform. You do this on Saturday mornings, yep,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: right around nine thirty or so, yep, which is the
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: the end of your time with Dante. Yes, it is,
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: and it's used kind of as a reward to go live,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: and he understands he thinks he's on TV.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: That's his fans, that's his Yes.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Does he realize how many people have seen him? Like
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a lot of people have seen Dante.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I know, I've been approached by people. They're like, you're
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: the guy, and I have no clue who they are.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: You're the guy with Dante. Yeah, yeah, I am on
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that prick.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: He's such a good kid man. Tomorrow morning, nine thirty,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: and he was sick last weekend.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I think. Now last weekend, I was at a seminar
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and he was a six degree black belt and he
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: was he taught me and broke down the Della Diva guard.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: He was He was in Brazil training under Della Eva
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: when Delahva developed that guard. So that guy had so
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: many little just little key points to tighten up a
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Delaheva guard. And you have no clue what I'm talking about.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Neither does ninety nine point nine percent of the people
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: on there. So I'll stop talking about that. But that's
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: where I was. It was super exciting. The guy is
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: so listen to this that the guy was super super
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: cool and he had you know, he had some life lessons.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: He started jiu jitsu when he was twelve and he
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: was the same age as me fifty two because he
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: got robbed at knife point in Brazil. So he was
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: wedding the bet. Yep, he was wedding the bed. His
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: parents couldn't figure out what's wrong. Than they brought him
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: a psychiatrist. They said, try Brazilian jiu jitsu, give him
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: some self confidence. Yeah, and he uh yeah, and then
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: he became a world cham and yeah, he's right in Massachusetts.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I went down to Bond Muayti down there and sat
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: in a seminar. So that's what I do is so
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I have the opportunity. Luke works all the time. Luke works,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you know, he works at his regular job. Plus he's
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: training the fighters. He's got Sophia and Matthew and Johnny
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and Chris Prawl. He's got all them guys. So he's
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: got all that going on. So I yeah, So I
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: take that opportunity myself to go and travel around and
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: gain knowledge that I can bring back to our students
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: and help our teammates and Granite City.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: It's it's it's incredible. Make sure you're you're tuned in
