- 0:01One of the ways we tend to limit ourselves is to decide in
- 0:05advance that we cannot succeed at something, that we don't have
- 0:10the education, the experience, the skill, or the necessary
- 0:15training to accomplish that task.
- 0:19We imprison ourselves within our narrow range by this type of
- 0:23mental restriction. Instead of experiencing life
- 0:28trying to do new things, we give up before we start.
- 0:34The disciple asks. Sometimes there are latent
- 0:37powers in us which we are unaware to do a work.
- 0:42How is 1. To know whether one is capable
- 0:44of doing it or not? The mother observes.
- 0:48Quote. How can one know whether one is
- 0:51capable of doing it or not? By trying.
- 0:55That's the best thing. And if you do not succeed
- 0:59immediately, persevere. And you must know that if a
- 1:04strong urge, a very strong urge to do something comes to you,
- 1:09that means this work has something to do with you and you
- 1:13are capable of doing it. But one can have powers which
- 1:17are so well hidden that one has to dig long before finding them.
- 1:22So you must not get discouraged at the first set back.
- 1:27You must persist. End Quote reference Sri or
- 1:33Obindo and the Mother powers within chapter 1.
