- 0:01Speaker 1: Jare you Katie and Josh makes one hundred. This is
- 0:04Speaker 1: embarrassing for Megan Maroney.
- 0:06Speaker 2: She was forced to abruptly cut her short her concert
- 0:10Speaker 2: short last night at Ball Arena because she she wasn't
- 0:13Speaker 2: feeling good and she tried to power through, but yet
- 0:16Speaker 2: she was unable to make it through the entire show.
- 0:19Speaker 2: And here's what it sounded like.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Obviously the last thing I ever wanted to do.
- 0:23Speaker 4: But I am obviously shrima sick, and I thought I
- 0:28Speaker 4: did everything to make myself better, and then obviously I
- 0:31Speaker 4: just can't play this show tonight. I will make it
- 0:34Speaker 4: up to you, guys. I absolutely promise I'll be back.
- 0:36Speaker 4: You'll be all you want to give you guys the
- 0:38Speaker 4: show you.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Deserve any people, really sorry?
- 0:42Speaker 5: OK?
- 0:47Speaker 2: And then she went just like that all over the stage.
- 0:51Speaker 2: But yeah, she didn't sound too good. But I gotta
- 0:53Speaker 2: tell you that's probably gotta be one of the most
- 0:55Speaker 2: awkward and embarrassing things ever for an artist who has
- 0:59Speaker 2: booked thousands of people at a venue and.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You gotta walk out and be like, hey, we got
- 1:04Speaker 1: to cut this short. Oh yeah, that's gotta be a
- 1:07Speaker 1: horrible feeling because.
- 1:08Speaker 3: You're used to just disappointing one person at a time, right, Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I'm just used to disappointing my wife.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I know same, I'm like one to two people at
- 1:16Speaker 3: a time.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yes, usually my wife is disappointed in you too. Actually
- 1:19Speaker 1: make sense, Jeremy Katie Josh Mix one hundred. If you're
- 1:24Speaker 1: a fan of Chuchuo Trains, Woo Woo.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Union Pacific's Big Boy number forty fourteen, it's gonna be
- 1:34Speaker 2: stopping at the tenth Street crossing in Greeley today from
- 1:38Speaker 2: about one fifteen to two pm. It's a part of
- 1:42Speaker 2: the Coast to Coast journey, Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 1: For America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. So that's a
- 1:48Speaker 1: big choo choo.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Big Boy's a big deal.
- 1:50Speaker 2: One hundred and thirty three feet long, and it weighs
- 1:53Speaker 2: about one point two million pounds.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Just shy at my mother in law.
- 1:59Speaker 3: It is really hard to just like talk about it
- 2:01Speaker 3: and do it justice. So it's one of those things
- 2:03Speaker 3: you have to see in real life to really appreciate.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I mean, it is massive.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You've seen the Big Boy.
- 2:08Speaker 3: That's the biggest train you'll ever seen. So you'll ever
- 2:10Speaker 3: see so absolutely.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Have you seen it? Though?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Have not?
- 2:13Speaker 6: Oh?
- 2:14Speaker 3: But I heard about what you about in knowledge, because
- 2:18Speaker 3: like I've heard, I've heard stories a big boy. Just
- 2:20Speaker 3: because I haven't seen it with my own eyes doesn't
- 2:22Speaker 3: mean it's not true.
- 2:23Speaker 1: All right, look at you, you'd be like, yeah, I.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Was a conductor or something I was really sure about myself.
- 2:31Speaker 1: He's never seen it, but she hears it's fantastic.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Welcome.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I got an email. All right, Well that is going
- 2:40Speaker 1: on today up in Korealy, so keep an eye out
- 2:44Speaker 1: for that.
- 2:44Speaker 2: All right, it's time for some sports. Pretty funny moment
- 2:47Speaker 2: happened during a what game was it, Baltimore versus Detroit
- 2:53Speaker 2: the Tigers. It's another one of those incidents where a
- 2:56Speaker 2: squirrel got out on the field and it totally just
- 3:00Speaker 2: erupted play.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And here's what it sounded like.
- 3:02Speaker 6: The chase for the squirrel is on, and the squirrel
- 3:05Speaker 6: is in the corner, and the squirrel is still eluding
- 3:08Speaker 6: an entire horde of ground screw members, and the squirrel's
- 3:11Speaker 6: free once again, hemmed.
- 3:12Speaker 3: In, No, I won't be hemden, I.
- 3:15Speaker 6: Have freedom on my mind, trying to go between the legs,
- 3:18Speaker 6: And eventually.
- 3:19Speaker 1: He gets away again and hops through the towel and hops.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Through another towel.
- 3:25Speaker 5: The force field is activated, towels can't stop him, or
- 3:29Speaker 5: maybe they can.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, I don't watch a lot of
- 3:31Speaker 2: baseball because it's so boring.
- 3:33Speaker 1: But it's more stuff like that happened, I'd probably be
- 3:35Speaker 1: into it now.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It's so funny, probably the most exciting part of the game, right,
- 3:38Speaker 2: thing though.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Easily and the baseball player trying to get him too
- 3:41Speaker 6: with his gloves. He trying to trap it with the glove.
- 3:43Speaker 6: It's happened a few times with the cats and other animals.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I think you got catch the squirrel with a Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 2: we gotta get a raccoon out there, or a lion.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Let's get a lion out on the field. How do
- 3:51Speaker 1: we make that happen?
- 3:52Speaker 3: I like the raccoon.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch it. Yeah, peacock. Peacocks are maybe the
- 3:59Speaker 1: peacock there? I go, wut more thing for you?
- 4:01Speaker 2: I guess Rob Gronkowski and Gronk is teaming up with
- 4:05Speaker 2: eBay to do some trading card stuff. He's big into
- 4:09Speaker 2: sports memorability. He's a memorabilia guy, says the story.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Anyway, the funny.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Part of this story is that he's always looking up
- 4:16Speaker 2: the price of his trading cards because his quote is,
- 4:21Speaker 2: you've got to see your value on the streets, because
- 4:24Speaker 2: if you're pulling cards and ripping decks, you got to
- 4:27Speaker 2: know your value.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's what it's all about.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Does he really talk like that in real life?
- 4:36Speaker 1: Exactly? Quote right there from Gronk.
- 4:38Speaker 2: The funny thing about this, and I'm kind of upset
- 4:41Speaker 2: by this, because he's got some insider deals going on,
- 4:45Speaker 2: is he pulls cards of players he knows, like Brady.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You know, maybe it's some good stack of Brady cards.
- 4:53Speaker 2: He goes and has Brady sign him because he knows him,
- 4:56Speaker 2: and then their value skyrockets.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Can you do that? That seems like some insider trading
- 5:02Speaker 1: or something going on there.
- 5:03Speaker 3: That's not fair.
- 5:04Speaker 2: That's that's sketch to me. I don't like that at all.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And he goes out and has his friends signed the
- 5:09Speaker 2: cards and then they're worth more.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Does Brady get a cut because he's totally proppiting off
- 5:12Speaker 6: of his buddy, Like.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I don't like that at all. Gronk, that's not cool, Oh, Gronk,
- 5:18Speaker 1: that's so Gronk. All right, what else you want? Just
- 5:21Speaker 1: one of that story?
- 5:22Speaker 6: Because the name Gronk, Well, we're gonna go from the
- 5:24Speaker 6: world of baseball and football and trading cards the world
- 5:26Speaker 6: of swimming in the ocean. This is what happened yesterday.
- 5:30Speaker 6: A sixteen year old lifeguard has been going crazy viral
- 5:34Speaker 6: because of the heroics that he did yesterday. The rookie
- 5:36Speaker 6: lifeguard named Ryder has been hailed a hero by many
- 5:40Speaker 6: for braving these monster ten foot swells all to save
- 5:43Speaker 6: a little child. So apparently it is El Nino's hurricane
- 5:47Speaker 6: season over on the West Coast and because of that,
- 5:50Speaker 6: these massive waves can kind of just come out of nowhere.
- 5:53Speaker 6: And because of his ability to save this child again
- 5:56Speaker 6: at only sixteen years old, not only has he gone viral,
- 5:59Speaker 6: but he's also gotten the tension of the president.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yeah, the video of Rider went viral on social media
- 6:04Speaker 5: because he's seeing continuously being knocked down by the waves
- 6:08Speaker 5: while trying to hold onto the child. You can see
- 6:11Speaker 5: him there with that safety device just getting pummeled by
- 6:14Speaker 5: the white water, but it kept getting broken apart just
- 6:17Speaker 5: by the sheer force of those waves.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's a tough kid right there, for sure.
- 6:20Speaker 6: It's absolutely insane to watch and you see him like
- 6:24Speaker 6: even though he is a well trained lifeguard, although only
- 6:27Speaker 6: in his rookie season. Those waves are hard to beat.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Like he's not outswimming them.
- 6:31Speaker 6: You have to apparently go kind of with the wake
- 6:34Speaker 6: and with the swell and kind of work your way
- 6:36Speaker 6: like sideways and swarming your well. Either way, President President
- 6:41Speaker 6: Trump did say he wants to invite him to the
- 6:43Speaker 6: White House and give him one of the highest civilian honors,
- 6:45Speaker 6: and I think that's well deserved. I mean, you're taking
- 6:47Speaker 6: a life at sixteen years old.
- 6:49Speaker 1: The biggest waves we've ever seen. Frankly, would you see
- 6:52Speaker 1: in so.
- 6:53Speaker 6: Much able to watch because you'll even see some of
- 6:57Speaker 6: these dads like they look like they're trying to help,
- 6:59Speaker 6: and then they even back.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So many dads were there.
- 7:01Speaker 3: You look at how he so many little boy and
- 7:04Speaker 3: then it takes four people to come in and save him.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Many people were there the child.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Nobody had ever seen anything like it, so much the
- 7:15Speaker 2: whales within, the dolphins were underneath watching it all.
- 7:19Speaker 3: It's incredibly impressive. Thankfully that little boys.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Okay, right, the medal, right.
- 7:26Speaker 3: The medal of anybody, the biggest.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Medal ever, frankly, the biggest.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I got one more little bit of local news that
- 7:31Speaker 2: we didn't have time to squeeze into the hype.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We had a marmot story yesterday, didn't we did?
- 7:38Speaker 3: What was that about? It was Fat Marmot Week and Colorado.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Fat Marmot and I called Katie a fat marmot. I
- 7:44Speaker 1: was going to get her a T shirt.
- 7:45Speaker 3: We made fun of gothic marment, got it?
- 7:47Speaker 2: That's right, boy, what a show yesterday was today's kind
- 7:53Speaker 2: of mediocre. So far so the Colorado Marmot Research program
- 7:59Speaker 2: running since night teen sixty two. They've lost some of
- 8:02Speaker 2: their federal grants, so they're turning to only fans. They've
- 8:10Speaker 2: created a page called only Marms and they're offering daily
- 8:15Speaker 2: photos and videos of the wild yellow bellied marmots. Oh,
- 8:20Speaker 2: they say it is gonna be g rated. They're not
- 8:22Speaker 2: gonna make it dirty or anything like that, but they're
- 8:24Speaker 2: just gonna have fun with the posting pictures of marmots
- 8:28Speaker 2: doing various things on the page, and then on there there's.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Gonna be like a donate link.
- 8:33Speaker 2: You know, you can help fund the programs that protect
- 8:35Speaker 2: the marmins. This poor girl named Emily Ranki, she's this
- 8:40Speaker 2: story says she's a first year master's student. She's working
- 8:44Speaker 2: so hard and she's she's got to manage a goofy
- 8:46Speaker 2: Marmots page.
- 8:47Speaker 1: She's like, this is what I'm doing with my college degree.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I guess anyway, good for her, but I think the
- 8:52Speaker 2: worst things you could be doing.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I know, it's kind of sweet. Actually it's really cute.
- 8:56Speaker 2: There's additional fundraising, including a b out there called Marmott
- 9:01Speaker 2: Tears IPA, and you can get it at the Fat
- 9:05Speaker 2: Marmot Week event that's coming up in August.
- 9:08Speaker 3: We've got receipts, We've got drummers, We've got denver Tking
- 9:13Speaker 3: gets the Mile High like with JKJ Legends and Icon
- 9:17Speaker 3: on Mix one hundred.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Well check out this possible reboot. Mccolay Colkin is sharing
- 9:23Speaker 2: an idea for a home alone sequel. He did it
- 9:28Speaker 2: in promotion of the thirtieth anniversary, but I guess he's
- 9:32Speaker 2: been meeting with Disney to.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Try to bring it to life.
- 9:35Speaker 2: But his idea is that Kevin McAllister is widowed or
- 9:40Speaker 2: maybe even divorced, and he's raising a sun by himself.
- 9:43Speaker 1: He says he's.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Working really hard but not paying enough attention to the kid,
- 9:48Speaker 2: and the kid is getting miffed at me, is his quote.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And then I get locked out of the house.
- 9:53Speaker 2: My son won't let me in, and he's the one
- 9:56Speaker 2: setting traps for me and the house is I'm sort
- 10:00Speaker 2: of metaphor for our relationship boring. Anyway, Disney is like
- 10:06Speaker 2: up his butt about this. They say they are, well
- 10:10Speaker 2: the quote is kissing his butts, and they really want
- 10:12Speaker 2: to make this happen.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I guess.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So it'd be kind of fun for a new generation.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I think we'd go also, just because
- 10:19Speaker 3: of the nostalgic factor right about. I bet what if
- 10:22Speaker 3: his kid does the.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You know they're going to try to work out.
- 10:26Speaker 2: There, right?
- 10:27Speaker 3: That works awesome?
- 10:28Speaker 1: So all right, so there you go. You've sold one ticket. Okay, McCaulay,
- 10:35Speaker 1: you got one ticket out there.
- 10:37Speaker 2: You want to get a big old Wiener cake in
- 10:39Speaker 2: your mouth, Well, now it's your chance. Oscar Meyer is
- 10:42Speaker 2: celebrating their ninetieth anniversary of the Wiener Mobile this weekend
- 10:46Speaker 2: with exclusive Wiener cakes.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Where do I get it?
- 10:51Speaker 2: This was my nickname in college? Hey, what's up Wiener cakes?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Is you are hard for that nickname?
- 10:57Speaker 2: But it's basically a bunch of hot dogs changed around
- 11:00Speaker 2: a two tier cake and they're all like sticking up
- 11:02Speaker 2: in the air so.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Hot.
- 11:06Speaker 2: They've got ketchup and mustard colored confetti, and then there's
- 11:10Speaker 2: a little wienermobile cake topper. They're going to be available
- 11:13Speaker 2: at various cities around the United States, so you can
- 11:16Speaker 2: google that if you want to make the pilgrimage. But
- 11:18Speaker 2: it's all in celebration of their ninetieth birthday, which is
- 11:21Speaker 2: kind of fun cake euphemism.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I didn't think there's actual hot dogs.
- 11:25Speaker 1: No, there's an actual Wiener cake. I think I might
- 11:28Speaker 1: have posted it on her Facebook. I don't know. If not,
- 11:30Speaker 1: maybe I'll get that up in a little bit. See
- 11:33Speaker 1: what I did there.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Way Mo is preparing to launch its autonomous ride service
- 11:39Speaker 2: in Denver, putting it on track to join Phoenix and
- 11:44Speaker 2: Los Angeles San Francisco, and you can some of those
- 11:48Speaker 2: summon those goofy vehicles and they'll come pick you up.
- 11:50Speaker 1: They say.
- 11:50Speaker 2: The only problem is is Denver is presenting some unusual
- 11:54Speaker 2: challenges because of our snow covered lane markings, sudden hail,
- 12:00Speaker 2: confusing construction zones, and aggressive merging.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Oh and not to mention it, scooters. Yeah, we have
- 12:08Speaker 1: some crazy stuff going on.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I mean, you don't even want to think about what
- 12:12Speaker 3: happens in that left lane on I twenty five.
- 12:14Speaker 1: There, yeah, yeah, over there, you know everybody. Oh yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 1: the construction is that's a true thing too.
- 12:21Speaker 5: You know.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I roll in on four to seventy every day and
- 12:23Speaker 2: they're doing massive construction down to my hood. They're ripping
- 12:27Speaker 2: up for seventy, repaving and all that every morning. It
- 12:30Speaker 2: is so hard to judge the lanes because they lay
- 12:33Speaker 2: out all the cones and there's so many reflections and
- 12:37Speaker 2: flashing lights. There's been multiple times over the past week
- 12:41Speaker 2: or two that I've gotten in.
- 12:42Speaker 1: The wrong lane. Oh I'm sure, and I come and
- 12:44Speaker 1: zipping up on the construction crew and I'm like, oh no,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm so.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Sorry because it's so hard to tell where the lanes are.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So I can I can imagine the way mos.
- 12:53Speaker 3: And that's just in Denver. I do not want to
- 12:55Speaker 3: be part of the guinea pigs where they test it
- 12:57Speaker 3: out up in the high country.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Knowing that chick, thank you going.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Around those corners in a self driving car.
- 13:04Speaker 1: No no no, no, down the edge you go.
- 13:07Speaker 3: No no no no no no.
- 13:08Speaker 1: No no no no no no, no, no, good boy. What
- 13:11Speaker 1: else is going on the way?
- 13:12Speaker 3: Well, speaking of driving Denver, the first pilot city for
- 13:17Speaker 3: the three will trikes that they have out there.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Something else to avoid fun huh.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Let me.
- 13:25Speaker 7: Landed in Denver. On me first, we've experienced ridership like
- 13:29Speaker 7: crazy NonStop riders hoping that our riders want to ride
- 13:33Speaker 7: it to the grocery store, want to ride it to
- 13:34Speaker 7: the light rail with their suitcase to get to the
- 13:37Speaker 7: airport's places.
- 13:39Speaker 3: To ride that trick your suitcase and with your suitcase,
- 13:43Speaker 3: and it's a lot more stable. This is something I
- 13:45Speaker 3: feel like I could finally get on and ride downtown
- 13:48Speaker 3: because they have the scooters. And shut up, Jerry, the
- 13:52Speaker 3: scooters are so scary.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Okay, listen, I make fun, but they are.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And I've known people.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I've been on one downtown by.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Cars and stuff on those things. I know people, And I'm.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Just taking up to speed pretty quick.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Yeah I Am not trying to get on a scooter.
- 14:06Speaker 3: So these little trikes are just my speed. And there
- 14:09Speaker 3: are a couple of rules. You got to be eighteen
- 14:10Speaker 3: on staying the bike lanes and whatnot, and they also
- 14:12Speaker 3: encourage you to wear a helmet. But look for them now,
- 14:15Speaker 3: they're got them here in the Mile High City. And
- 14:17Speaker 3: again we're the first pilot City. So you're gonna start
- 14:20Speaker 3: the two.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Wheels on the back, one up front, the very stable. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:24Speaker 1: to flip it.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I just I love everything about them. I cannot wait
- 14:27Speaker 3: to go. They're kind of cute, right, that was like this.
- 14:29Speaker 1: You're a cute helmet too, scooter. Okay, I know, can
- 14:33Speaker 1: you leave it on?
- 14:33Speaker 2: If you like, take your trike to a restaurant and
- 14:35Speaker 2: you're wearing your helmet, just leave it on through lunch.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to do with this hair.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah, just leave it on, like, oh, bless her heart.
- 14:44Speaker 1: You'll get really good service.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Or at least a free meal because they feel bad.
- 14:48Speaker 1: For me, right exactly.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Okay, I guess everything is bigger in Texas. Guys got
- 14:53Speaker 3: bigger idiots for sure. So one of them came to
- 14:56Speaker 3: Glenwood Kenan's Adventure Park and said he wanted to s
- 15:00Speaker 3: phoed up the place because they wouldn't let him get
- 15:02Speaker 3: on rides.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Oh I thought maybe he was a photographer.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, different kind silly Lannie Hubbard. He is
- 15:10Speaker 3: from Quitman, Texas is where he hails from, and after
- 15:13Speaker 3: being told he couldn't ride some of the tractions, he
- 15:16Speaker 3: said the threatening remarks, and he said it multiple times
- 15:19Speaker 3: while he was interacting with the person from the ride.
- 15:21Speaker 3: As he's making his way out of the park, he's
- 15:24Speaker 3: still yelling at everybody and saying these things at a
- 15:26Speaker 3: very high volume. And that happened Monday night, and they
- 15:29Speaker 3: arrested him Tuesday morning. So he got charged in everything.
- 15:34Speaker 3: And you know, he gets the same cell size as
- 15:36Speaker 3: everybody else, so even if he is a big idiot,
- 15:39Speaker 3: he's got to sit in that cell. So anyway, that's
- 15:41Speaker 3: a crazy story coming out of glenn Wick Springs. This
- 15:44Speaker 3: is a good look for Colorado. So we do have
- 15:46Speaker 3: some positive news to wrap up through mile high hype.
- 15:49Speaker 3: We are on the list of best states in the country.
- 15:52Speaker 3: And this is a report coming from US News and
