- 0:14and welcome to the
- 0:04podcast.
- 0:05Follow us on Facebook.
- 0:07Here's your host.
- 0:10Ross.
- 0:12Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Freshest Sounds podcast with me, your host,
- 0:17Ross.
- 0:17And it is good to be in the studio here at the generator in New Islington at Royal Mills.
- 0:23So before we get into the music and everything, I'm gonna briefly talk about the generator,
- 0:29what it is, where it is, and what it has to offer.
- 0:32So, basically, the generator is here for anyone who is a start up business.
- 0:38Now they have two locations.
- 0:40The first location is where I'm at now, which is New Islington Royal Mills, and it's just on
- 0:48the outskirts of Piccadilly.
- 0:50So if you are in the Manchester area, it's not too far to travel to or anything.
- 0:55You can get the bus down or the tram down and tell it to you, or you can even get the train
- 0:59down as well and then just walk up a little bit.
- 1:02So the one I'm at is at New Islington.
- 1:05That's a tram stop you get off at, and then you walk down, cut through the canals and
- 1:09everything, and then it's just there.
- 1:11If you know Co op Live, then you'll know New Islington as well.
- 1:15So that's that location, and they have a location in the center of Manchester as well.
- 1:22So that is at Saint Peter's Square, and it's a town hall extension.
- 1:27So there's at the moment, there's a fence there, and you've got the homeless people in
- 1:33the tents.
- 1:33So you walk straight down as if you're walking towards the old library, and then it's just a
- 1:38right.
- 1:38And then you go into some double doors that open automatically, and then it's just you
- 1:43right there.
- 1:44Go in, and you will be greeted by someone on the desk.
- 1:48The staff in here are absolutely amazing.
- 1:50They're so friendly.
- 1:52And once you come in, you'll get shown around, and you'll get shown all the different types of
- 1:57equipment and the space that they have to offer as well.
- 2:00So if you are a start up business in Manchester and you're seeking some advice and some help
- 2:07with your business, I would urge you to come to the generator and speak to them because they
- 2:13have tons and tons of advice to give you.
- 2:17And it's free as well.
- 2:18So who doesn't love a freebie?
- 2:20So that is obviously that out the way, and we are in the month of Christmas.
- 2:26Yes.
- 2:27December.
- 2:28Oh, how I love it.
- 2:29How I love it with my sarcastic voice there.
- 2:32But it's it's one of them really, ain't it?
- 2:34You know?
- 2:35Some people love it for certain reasons, and some people dislike it for other reasons as
- 2:40well.
- 2:41And it's harder when you get older, I personally think, because, you know, you lose
- 2:47loved ones and everything in your family, and Christmas isn't the same without that special
- 2:52someone.
- 2:53Do you know what I mean?
- 2:53And, like, when I lost my grandma, it was it was the most hardest thing ever.
- 2:59Like, she was the glue of the family and everything.
- 3:02And when she passed, just things weren't right in the family no more.
- 3:06And I dreaded Christmas.
- 3:08But on a flip side, I enjoy Christmas as well purely on the basis of I've got a little boy as
- 3:15well.
- 3:15So, you know, he believes in all that sort of stuff.
- 3:18So I've got to keep the the Christmas spirit high, and, you know, it's all the sneaking
- 3:23around.
- 3:24And it brings you inner child out in yourself as well if you have kids.
- 3:28And you people watching and listening, you can relate to that a 100%.
- 3:33So another thing about Christmas as well is I'm a late Christmas shopper, mate.
- 3:37I've not even started with my Christmas shopping yet, and gonna be running around like
- 3:42a headless chicken, pulling the little strands here of my hair, what I've got left on my head.
- 3:47I'm gonna be pulling all that out.
- 3:48And, yeah, it's hard to get for people in my opinion because you know what they like and
- 3:54everything, and you're just there, like, rattling your brain on what to get them.
- 3:59And it's like, well, they've already got everything that they want and they need.
- 4:03What do you get them?
- 4:04Seriously.
- 4:05But, you know, you have them conversations, and it's like, mom, what would you like for
- 4:09Christmas if you could get a few things, you know, and just to see what they'll come out
- 4:13with?
- 4:13My mom is a sucker for Doc Martens.
- 4:15Anything that smells nice and pajamas, easy.
- 4:18But it's just just trying to find something nice in it.
- 4:21So yeah.
- 4:22Also as well, before we get onto the music, I've just remembered something that I've put on
- 4:26social media as well, and I want everyone to get involved in.
- 4:29So, obviously, when you're out dating someone, you know, it could be in a restaurant or it
- 4:36could be out and about on a nice walk.
- 4:38Whatever it is, whatever you're doing, like, flowing and something that he or she says
- 4:44sparks up as a red flag for you.
- 4:46Now I want everyone to get involved on social media, please, and I wanna know what your red
- 4:51flag is in someone.
- 4:52It could be the smallest thing, but it's a big thing to you, really, ain't it?
- 4:57You know what I mean?
- 4:58So it could be, for example, something like you've gone to a five star restaurant and
- 5:04they're rocked up in sliders and socks, and they just wear sliders and socks everywhere,
- 5:09wherever you go.
- 5:11Sliders and socks.
- 5:11Sliders and socks.
- 5:12Sliders and socks.
- 5:13So, yeah, that's not my red flag, by the way.
- 5:16I'm just saying as an example, you know, it could be yours.
- 5:18I'm not too sure what yours is.
- 5:20So if you'd like to get involved on the Facebook page, please do, or you can just type
- 5:26it in on the TikTok page, whatever.
- 5:28Whatever social media platform you use the most, just get involved that way, please.
- 5:33So what we are going to do is we are going to get into the music now, ladies and gentlemen.
- 5:39So the first song is one I have made myself.
- 5:42Yes.
- 5:43I make music.
- 5:44I know that may come to a surprise to some of you who's watching and listening.
- 5:49So my YouTube channel is r d o t t production.
- 5:54So it's r dot t productions, and this song is called standing ovation, and we are going to
- 6:03play it now, ladies and gentlemen.
- 6:05If you do like what you listen to, please like, share, subscribe, comment, and support the
- 6:11artists.
- 6:12So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, this is standing ovations by R.
- 6:17D.
- 6:17C.
- 6:17Production on YouTube.
- 6:18Here it is.
- 6:19R.
- 6:19D.
- 6:20C.
- 6:21Productions.
- 8:32And that was r.
- 8:34T production standing ovation on YouTube, ladies and gentlemen.
- 8:38I'm not really gonna say much on that because obviously it's my own track, and I thoroughly
- 8:42enjoy it.
- 8:43You know, it took me about three months to do that song and once I finished it, I was
- 8:49absolutely buzzing with it.
- 8:51I was so gassed.
- 8:52I was over the moon.
- 8:53I was like, oh, listen to this.
- 8:55Listen to this.
- 8:55And people like, have you done that?
- 8:57I'm like, yeah.
- 8:57Like, just to see the reactions and, you know, it's just so good, and it's heartwarming as
- 9:03well when people listening to your music.
- 9:06I mean, it's had 243 views on YouTube.
- 9:09So, you know, it speaks volume for itself, ladies and gentlemen.
- 9:12So if you have liked that song, please go and support me and subscribe to my YouTube channel,
- 9:20like the song, comment on it, all that sort of stuff because it helps the artist out so much.
- 9:26And I will say this from an artist point of view as well.
- 9:30We appreciate it because when you buy an album from Madonna, for example, she 's not really
- 9:36gonna notice you.
- 9:37But these people who get featured on the podcast, they appreciate you so, so much.
- 9:43And I will hold up my hands here and, you know, agree with what some of the artists tell me as
- 9:48well because it's, how can I say it, it's appreciated a lot more, and, you know, it's one
- 9:54of them really?
- 9:54So, yeah, if you liked it, please subscribe to it on YouTube, add up to your production,
- 10:00standing ovation.
- 10:01Give it a like.
- 10:02Give it a share.
- 10:03Go show your cousin.
- 10:04Go show your nan.
- 10:05She'll probably enjoy it as well.
- 10:06So we are on our next song.
- 10:09So the YouTube channel is Lil Babs number four ever, and this is real talk.
- 10:17Little Babs forever is a song title as well.
- 10:20So we are gonna play it now, ladies and gentlemen, and get back to you very shortly.
- 10:25Doc, go anywhere.
- 12:56And that was Lil Babs forever.
- 12:59Real talk.
- 13:00I thoroughly enjoyed that one, to be honest with you.
- 13:02You know, that's sort of my genre of music I would listen to.
- 13:05I'd say there is a bit of room for improvement there.
- 13:08So I think it was, like, one minute odd into the song.
- 13:12I feel like there could have been a more stronger male presence on the beat, and I think
- 13:18it would have made the song a bit more better.
- 13:21That's my personal opinion.
- 13:23So don't take it to heart and, you know, don't be disheartened with the feedback.
- 13:27But that's my personal opinion anyway.
- 13:30But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, you know, and I hope you carry on doing your music and
- 13:36carry on sending it into the podcast.
- 13:38And we will feature you again when you're next sending your music.
- 13:41So, again, if you have just liked what you have just listened to, please go subscribe to them
- 13:46on YouTube.
- 13:47So it's Little Babs number four ever, and the song was called Real Talk, Little Babs Forever
- 13:55on YouTube.
- 13:56So up next, ladies and gentlemen, we have Jose Hoz.
- 14:02That's their YouTube name.
- 14:03Well, the YouTube name is Jose Hoz hyphen official, and the song is called rap ninja.
- 14:10And we are going to play it now, ladies and gentlemen.
- 14:13Again, if you like the song, please subscribe to him on YouTube.
- 14:17Like, share, comment, and go support him.
- 17:22And that was Jose Hoz, everyone, rap ninja.
- 17:26I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 17:29If he was watching on YouTube just then, obviously, you would have seen the video well,
- 17:34the visuals for the music video.
- 17:36And I always say if it's got a catchy beat or if the video is 10 out of 10, which that was,
- 17:42and I'm sure everyone on YouTube who are watching right now will agree with me as well.
- 17:47So, yeah, just absolutely lost for words on that one.
- 17:50There is a little bit of a description on his YouTube, so I'm gonna read it out for you.
- 17:56It says, Rap Ninja is a classic nineties boom bap storytelling rap, a story about a rap ninja
- 18:03who is a direct descendant of the Shaolin temple who is ready to fight for his place in
- 18:09rap history no matter the cost, resentless flow, and a beat that packs a punch.
- 18:14Juse Huss delivers a sonic experience that's nothing short of legendary.
- 18:20This audio slash visualizer takes you deeper into the world of rap ninja combining dynamic
- 18:25visuals with the raw energy of Juse's performance.
- 18:29Whether you're here for the bars, the vibes, or the artistry, this track promised to hit all
- 18:34the right notes for fans of enthusiastic hip hop.
- 18:38And I think he's hit the nail on the head there, to be honest with you.
- 18:41Saying all that, what he's put there, I believe everything I've just read out then was true.
- 18:48And, yeah, I don't think he could have worded that any better, to be honest with you.
- 18:52There is no room for improvement whatsoever on that song.
- 18:56I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I don't know if someone who is watching or listening right now
- 19:01will enjoy it as well.
- 19:03So if you did enjoy that song, he is called Jose Hoz hyphen official on YouTube, and the
- 19:11song was called rap ninja.
- 19:14So please go and show them some support.
- 19:17So up next, we have Deke official.
- 19:22So it's Deke hyphen official.
- 19:26That's his YouTube channel, and we are going to play Outlaw.
- 19:31So if you do like what you are about to listen to, please like, share, subscribe, comment, all
- 19:36that sort of stuff.
- 19:37Go show your friends, your family.
- 19:39Go show your dog if you want to.
- 19:40So, yeah, the official outlaw.
- 19:44Here it is, ladies and gentlemen.
- 21:24The coppers try to flag me down.
- 21:26Blue lights on, no festal case.
- 22:34And that was outlaw by deak official.
- 22:37I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed that, and I'm sure someone listening and someone who is
- 22:40watching right now also enjoyed it.
- 22:43I can't say there's room for improvement on that song whatsoever.
- 22:46You know, everything was there for me.
- 22:48I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 22:49I enjoyed listening to that song.
- 22:51So if you also liked what you have just listened to, please go and show the artist some
- 22:56support by subscribing to him on YouTube.
- 22:59Again, his YouTube channel name is Deak Official, so it's d e k and then official.
- 23:06And the song was called Outlaw.
- 23:08Please like the song.
- 23:09Share it onto your socials.
- 23:12Also, comment as well because it boosts the engagement on his YouTube channel as well.
- 23:18And, yeah, just show him some support, please, because these artists are upcoming music
- 23:24artists.
- 23:24They will be big one day.
- 23:26Let me tell you that for a fact.
- 23:27So if you do like anyone who you do listen to, please show them some support by, like I've
- 23:33just said then, liking, sharing, commenting, subscribing, all that sort of stuff just to
- 23:39show the artist some support, and they will appreciate it so much more than your Madonna or
- 23:46whoever you listen to on your Spotify playlist or your YouTube channels, whoever you listen
- 23:51to.
- 23:52So, yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are on our last song of the day, and this artist is called
- 23:57Infinity on YouTube.
- 23:59And the song is called Apostle of Apollo.
- 24:04And we are going to play it now, ladies and gentlemen, and get back to you after the song.
- 24:16Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged, and many of them are so inert, so
- 24:21hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight Living for the clicks, but the
- 25:12emptiness is laden.
- 25:13Trapped in the facade, it's a dangerous engagement.
- 25:16Behind the screen, you're just seeking connection, but it's a digital world, lit with
- 25:20shallow affection, self worth, tighter numbers, a pixelized Are you listening to me, Neo?
- 25:56Apostle of Apollo, ladies and gentlemen, by Infiniti.
- 26:00I, for one, thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 26:02You know?
- 26:03What he said in that song was absolutely amazing, and I don't think he could have summed
- 26:09it up any better because some of the stuff that he just said then, it's so true.
- 26:14Like, a lot of females nowadays are on OnlyFans and they call themselves content creators.
- 26:20And it's like, well, you're not really a content creator, are you?
- 26:22You just take pictures of yourself and video yourself.
- 26:26You know?
- 26:27So, yeah, hats off to the guy, and I, for one, can't wait for more of his music to drop, and I
- 26:35will definitely be subscribing to this person on YouTube.
- 26:40So that's it, everyone.
- 26:41That's the end of the show.
