- 0:05Speaker 1: Well, there are a ton of high school students in
- 0:08Speaker 1: the FM area who are gearing up for graduation.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Which is right around the corner for a lot of them.
- 0:14Speaker 1: If I'm not mistaken, I'm Morehead high school graduations set
- 0:18Speaker 1: for May twenty ninth. Fargo public schools set for June
- 0:22Speaker 1: twenty seventh. I know West Fargo schools I believe are
- 0:25Speaker 1: also coming up here in May as well, And so
- 0:27Speaker 1: kind of an exciting couple of weeks for a lot
- 0:29Speaker 1: of students out there.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Grad season.
- 0:32Speaker 4: My niece, even back of it, it's just grad season.
- 0:35Speaker 4: My niece is graduating.
- 0:37Speaker 3: It's just such a.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Fun time because you're finally done with high school and
- 0:42Speaker 4: now you can step into the real world.
- 0:44Speaker 3: And right now that sounds novel and exciting to me.
- 0:49Speaker 1: That's right, And you think back, you know about this time,
- 0:53Speaker 1: kids are probably signing yearbooks. Yeah, we're having to sign
- 0:56Speaker 1: yearbooks and things like, oh.
- 0:57Speaker 3: My gosh, I loved.
- 0:59Speaker 4: The best thing about being a senior and graduating is
- 1:02Speaker 4: that you got to have the high school superlatives in
- 1:07Speaker 4: your yearbook. At my school, you had to be a
- 1:09Speaker 4: senior to get those, like you like best hair, most
- 1:14Speaker 4: likely to the mirror. Yeah, that type of thing, and
- 1:17Speaker 4: so that was my favorite part of the yearbooks because
- 1:20Speaker 4: I really enjoyed my high school superlative. What was your
- 1:23Speaker 4: high school superlative? Like best blank, most likely to blink?
- 1:28Speaker 4: Let us know seven oh one, two, eight oh one,
- 1:30Speaker 4: nine eight seven text us call us. We also have
- 1:33Speaker 4: this on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 1:37Speaker 3: What did you have a high school superlative?
- 1:39Speaker 2: I did? Yeah? What was yours? I was?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Uh this, I am not joking around, you know, this
- 1:46Speaker 1: isn't a bit, but I was voted most likely to
- 1:49Speaker 1: be famous stop.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I was voted future media star.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Oh well, I'm glad we didn't accomplish that.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Well, we're the t MO version of that.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the Kirkland Walmart brand.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Yeah, where the Kroger version not quite famous and media star's.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Quite not quite reaching your potential.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, but we were midway. We're mid at best.
- 2:13Speaker 2: That's right.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We'll take We'll take a mid You know, Angie, the
- 2:16Speaker 1: world needs ditch diggers too.
- 2:18Speaker 3: That's true.
- 2:18Speaker 4: What was your high school superlative? And like, does it
- 2:21Speaker 4: track with what you are right now?
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you could let us know what you were voted
- 2:25Speaker 1: for and what you do right now. Brianna was voted
- 2:28Speaker 1: with the craziest hair. I hope to god she's a
- 2:31Speaker 1: hair silence.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Oh I love that.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Yes, what do you do for a living, Brianna? Or
- 2:36Speaker 4: is your hair itself still just crazy?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Alyssa said most likely to take over the world.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Oh, were you like the class president? Yeah, it seems
- 2:47Speaker 1: like the class.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Sounds very student council.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we had a poor Julia. I'm sorry she said.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I wasn't popular, so I didn't get one. And we
- 2:56Speaker 1: love a self aware.
- 2:57Speaker 3: A self aware queen, Stan a self away queen.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's right.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And Randy said, didn't receive any So don't know if
- 3:04Speaker 1: that's good or bad. Lmao. And you know that is
- 3:08Speaker 1: a good point. Is that good or is that bad?
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's probably not the worst thing in the world.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I think being middle of the.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Road because I think what would be a bummer if
- 3:14Speaker 4: you got a high school superlative and then ended up
- 3:16Speaker 4: being like opposite of that, you know what I mean,
- 3:20Speaker 4: depending on what the thing is.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is true. We do have John on
- 3:23Speaker 1: the phone. John, what about you?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Man?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Back in high school everybody was like I thought that
- 3:29Speaker 1: I was like the class clown and that I was
- 3:31Speaker 1: like the funniest person, and I was voted most likely
- 3:35Speaker 1: to be a comedian.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And I am so proud.
- 3:39Speaker 1: To report to you that I am an accountant.
- 3:44Speaker 2: And there's nothing funny about my job. It is the
- 3:47Speaker 2: most serious job on the face of the earth. And
- 3:50Speaker 2: I don't laugh at work.
- 3:51Speaker 4: The only time I laugh at work is when I
- 3:54Speaker 4: laugh at your guys' show.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Oh that's nice.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I think John has a few as a comedian. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: think he just hit us with the hook line and
- 4:03Speaker 1: sinker at.
- 4:03Speaker 2: The I like that.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So I am looking for an accountant. So we need
- 4:07Speaker 3: to talk later.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Did you have a high school superlative or you were
- 4:14Speaker 1: voted most likely to let us know? Either on Facebook
- 4:18Speaker 1: give us a call it seven oh one two eight
- 4:19Speaker 1: zero one nine eighty seven, or you can text them to.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Them celebrating life's little victories. Victory every morning we practice
- 4:29Speaker 5: gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 4:31Speaker 2: If I could, I would.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Keep this feeling in a basket job busted out when
- 4:35Speaker 5: it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I just really needed to win, you know.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 4:42Speaker 5: two eight a one ninety eight.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Seven, Angie, do you have a little victory for us?
- 4:46Speaker 4: My former mother in law called me yesterday just to
- 4:50Speaker 4: chat and we had a great time just chopping it up,
- 4:54Speaker 4: and at one point during the conversation, she said that
- 4:57Speaker 4: she thought I was an incredible mom and that she's
- 5:00Speaker 4: witnessed it firsthand and she's always thought that I'm such
- 5:03Speaker 4: an excellent mother. And that made me feel really good
- 5:07Speaker 4: because I don't know, I feel like I'm a self
- 5:09Speaker 4: proclaimed like bad mom.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I can't make my joke now because it's nice. I
- 5:14Speaker 1: was gonna say, were you blackmailing her?
- 5:18Speaker 4: But it is nice to hear, and then, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 4: I also am grateful that I still have a nice
- 5:23Speaker 4: relationship with my former mother in law because she could
- 5:27Speaker 4: have been like, oh, you're not even married to my
- 5:29Speaker 4: son anymore.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Bye.
- 5:31Speaker 2: But we are a lot of moms do it.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yes, But we're good, especially because for the kids.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Like I love that my kids' lives weren't disrupted during
- 5:42Speaker 4: the when me and my ex broke up in terms
- 5:45Speaker 4: of like now the family's divided and what side do
- 5:49Speaker 4: you choose? Like we have made a concerted effort to
- 5:53Speaker 4: always just be a family because we be in a family,
- 5:56Speaker 4: and there's no reason for us to not get along,
- 5:59Speaker 4: especially if we all of us just want the best
- 6:02Speaker 4: for the kids involved. And so it's really nice to
- 6:05Speaker 4: be able to have like nice, like even thoughtful, deep
- 6:09Speaker 4: conversation with my former mother in law, and even better
- 6:12Speaker 4: when she drops a little gem like that, I'm a
- 6:15Speaker 4: good mom.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I think that's wonderful.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm really good about it. What about you, Gabe? What's
- 6:20Speaker 3: your little.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Victory, very sweet little victory here today, Angie. And I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: glad I'm going to completely won eighty this with something
- 6:27Speaker 1: that is not wholesome or sweet at all?
- 6:29Speaker 2: What but it is kind of sweet.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Okay, yesterday I built my very own work bench, and
- 6:38Speaker 1: I could not be more thrilled. I am both twenty
- 6:43Speaker 1: years old and sixty wrapped into one, which you know,
- 6:47Speaker 1: kind of make I mean, I'm in my thirties, so
- 6:49Speaker 1: that is somewhere.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It's the averages of me. But I have never had.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You know, like the typical old man dad work bench,
- 6:58Speaker 1: how where you can put extra two you can do
- 7:01Speaker 1: projects on. You have a place or you can go
- 7:03Speaker 1: just get that stuff done where you're up off the ground.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You're not doing it in like the kitchen or something
- 7:08Speaker 1: like that. And I put that together yesterday and I
- 7:12Speaker 1: could not be more jack to have it. It looks
- 7:15Speaker 1: so cool and I can't wait to just build random
- 7:18Speaker 1: crap on it.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I just want to do that. What's the.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Gig?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I literally built this work bench and sent a picture.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I took the picture and send it to my mother
- 7:30Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, I better watch out.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I'm a real handy man. Now, Oh look at you go.
- 7:37Speaker 3: This gig.
- 7:38Speaker 2: A funny response, but.
- 7:40Speaker 3: What's your first project for the tool bench?
- 7:44Speaker 2: I have no idea, but it's just so nice.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You know, over time, you like when you're when you're
- 7:49Speaker 1: building stuff or you have little home projects, right, you
- 7:51Speaker 1: always come with little extra parts or extra screws or
- 7:54Speaker 1: bolts or.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Designated spot for the little extra I.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Have five oh dir to me. You know, I don't
- 8:09Speaker 1: know what it is about me. I guess here on
- 8:13Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven, but I'm certain the beginning
- 8:16Speaker 1: or I'm beginning to think, Angie, I might be just
- 8:18Speaker 1: kind of a jack of all trades.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I think people trust me.
- 8:20Speaker 1: They know I can get the job done, whether it
- 8:23Speaker 1: is building something. Yeah, performing the Big ninety eight point
- 8:27Speaker 1: seven morning show to the best of my abilities every day,
- 8:30Speaker 1: or if they need help with tech.
- 8:33Speaker 4: With tech this is please share this ridiculous email that
- 8:37Speaker 4: you got, because my favorite part is what you did
- 8:40Speaker 4: in response.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, this was the most Gabe glitten response to an
- 8:44Speaker 1: email of all time. Now this is I'm sure happens
- 8:47Speaker 1: to people all the time. You ever get an email
- 8:49Speaker 1: where someone's like, ooh, sorry, didn't mean to send that
- 8:51Speaker 1: to you, or I had the wrong John or the
- 8:53Speaker 1: wrong Gabe.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Right, especially Yeah, when it's the email address and it's
- 8:58Speaker 4: like a very common name.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I have sent some emails to the wrong people.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So I received this email last week and I was
- 9:06Speaker 1: a bit confused because we have an engineer and a
- 9:11Speaker 1: tech guy yeah here at Radio FM Media.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And I'll tell you right now it is not me.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I am not that guy.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But this email did make Angie and I laugh and said,
- 9:22Speaker 1: good morning. I want to pin the printer I used
- 9:25Speaker 1: to my desktop so I can easily scan things.
- 9:29Speaker 2: How do I do that?
- 9:32Speaker 1: And I I believe it is someone who works within
- 9:37Speaker 1: the branch of Radio FN Media. But when I first
- 9:40Speaker 1: saw that, I had no clue who this was. Right,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I thought this was just some lady yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 4: So, Gabe, did you respond to her and say sorry,
- 9:49Speaker 4: I think you meant this email for someone else and
- 9:52Speaker 4: then go about your day?
- 9:53Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I responded, Hey, this is Gabe from Big ninety eight
- 9:58Speaker 1: point seven. I'm not sure if this was meant me
- 10:00Speaker 1: or not, but I am pretty tech savvy and I
- 10:02Speaker 1: can probably help you out. To pin the printer for
- 10:06Speaker 1: easier scanning and Windows open the control panel, navigate to
- 10:09Speaker 1: the devices in printers, write click your printer and select
- 10:11Speaker 1: create a shortcut to place it on your desktop. Alternatively,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you could write click the printer and select pin to start,
- 10:18Speaker 1: or use Window facts and scan from the search menu.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Hopefully this works out. Let me know if you need
- 10:24Speaker 2: some more assistance.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I love that you have just assumed the role of
- 10:30Speaker 4: the it guy.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I would not have.
- 10:33Speaker 4: First of all, I should have taken notes because I don't.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Know how to pin the printer. I don't know how
- 10:39Speaker 3: to do anything. But what was her response to you?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Her response was thank you? So I want to know
- 10:46Speaker 1: if it worked, and I'm too afraid to email back now.
- 10:49Speaker 1: It's been a little bit too much time, right, but
- 10:51Speaker 1: I wanted a follow up.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I like that she completely skipped the part where maybe
- 10:56Speaker 4: it wasn't even meant for you.
- 10:58Speaker 3: She's like, well, I might a solution, so what do
- 11:01Speaker 3: I care?
- 11:02Speaker 4: I would love if she would ask you more tech questions.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, just so you know, if you ever accidentally send
- 11:10Speaker 1: an email to me here at Big ninety eight point seven, Gable.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Try to make it work.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I will try to help you out the best I can.
- 11:19Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray Areas, one morning
- 11:22Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Is it legal for a child to wear that much makeup?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Is it legal? I understand, I.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Understand it's funny as all get out, but is it
- 11:31Speaker 3: even legal?
- 11:32Speaker 1: On Big ninety eight point seven, this is great information
- 11:37Speaker 1: as we reach spring summer right around the corner. If
- 11:40Speaker 1: you go out and you buy that brand new boat
- 11:42Speaker 1: or that camper or that trailer that you want to
- 11:45Speaker 1: toe around this summer, and you might need to know this,
- 11:49Speaker 1: all right, because this actually is very helpful information today.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And she and mostly I'm talking because I recently bought
- 11:54Speaker 1: one of these because I like it.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Okay, all right?
- 11:58Speaker 1: In North Dakota, if you you are driving and you
- 12:02Speaker 1: have a boat or an RV or a camper or
- 12:06Speaker 1: whatever behind the truck, all right, and that item has
- 12:11Speaker 1: a gross vehicle weight rating a GVWR rating.
- 12:17Speaker 3: That's what that stands for.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yep, I've never.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Known of three thousand pounds or more. It must have
- 12:24Speaker 1: brakes on all the wheels. So you've been saving. This
- 12:28Speaker 1: is the year you go out and you buy that
- 12:30Speaker 1: boat and you got yourself a Mini Titanic, and you're
- 12:34Speaker 1: ready to hit the c's And as you're driving down
- 12:37Speaker 1: the highway, you get pulled over and the police officer goes, hey,
- 12:41Speaker 1: can you stop this trailer that your boat's on, And
- 12:43Speaker 1: you're like, well, no, Well if it's over three thousand pounds,
- 12:46Speaker 1: that's no good.
- 12:48Speaker 3: That's so interesting.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Wait, so does that also include like I see brake
- 12:53Speaker 4: lights on things like on the.
- 12:56Speaker 2: No, that does. That's kind of separate. The trailer has
- 13:00Speaker 2: its own lights.
- 13:00Speaker 1: What you need is a brake controller that there's a
- 13:04Speaker 1: billion different versions of these things that you can buy.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You can buy like Bluetooth ones that you plug into
- 13:09Speaker 1: the back of your vehicle and then it controls the
- 13:12Speaker 1: brakes with Bluetooth and your car slowing down on what
- 13:15Speaker 1: have you. They have automatic ones, they have manual ones.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They have all kinds of different things. But the whole
- 13:20Speaker 1: point is if you go out and buy that r V,
- 13:22Speaker 1: that camp or that boat. As we hit warm weather here,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you'll want to know what it weighs. Yeah, and if
- 13:29Speaker 1: it is more than three thousand pounds, there is another
- 13:32Speaker 1: piece of equipment you have to buy, and that is
- 13:34Speaker 1: breaks for it.
- 13:35Speaker 4: So as long as everybody like follows the law, I
- 13:38Speaker 4: shouldn't get so anxious when I'm behind someone towing. I'm
- 13:42Speaker 4: not towing anything, right, but I get really stressed out
- 13:45Speaker 4: when I'm driving, when I'm in the passenger seat of
- 13:49Speaker 4: Mikey driving very real and there's like people towing things,
- 13:54Speaker 4: and then I think, but what I have had that thought,
- 13:56Speaker 4: like can't that thing just kind.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Of fin trying to fly up? Yeah, exactly.
- 14:00Speaker 3: So as long as everyone is following the rules, please do,
- 14:03Speaker 3: then there's no reason to be concerned.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And there's tons of benefits to having this thing, this
- 14:08Speaker 1: piece of equipment, you know, even if it's under three
- 14:10Speaker 1: thousand pounds, you really should just have one. Yeah, if
- 14:13Speaker 1: you're going to be towing something, you know over a thousand. Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 1: this is really as you head on into the summer,
- 14:19Speaker 1: it does so many good things. You know, obviously it
- 14:21Speaker 1: slows down the trailer for you. It saves wear and
- 14:24Speaker 1: tear on your vehicle's brakes because it's not doing all
- 14:27Speaker 1: the stopping. It can help, Yeah, it can help prevent
- 14:30Speaker 1: like trailer sway where you see the trailer going back
- 14:33Speaker 1: and forth all crazy and the car cripts over and
- 14:35Speaker 1: things like that.
- 14:36Speaker 2: So just a little bit of a heads up. If
- 14:37Speaker 2: you go and buy.
- 14:38Speaker 1: That big fun toy you've been saving up for and
- 14:41Speaker 1: you're ready to hit the road this summer, you should
- 14:42Speaker 1: check if you need to buy another little piece of equipment.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I love that you used.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Is it legal to justify the purchase of the brake
- 14:51Speaker 4: controller that you did for yourself on Mother's Day?
- 14:54Speaker 3: I'll never forget.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I will be in a wedding coming up here in October,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and uh, it's for one of my best friends in
- 15:08Speaker 1: the world. His name is Tyler, one of the one
- 15:10Speaker 1: of the greatest guys on planet Earth, and he is
- 15:14Speaker 1: obviously a fiance now. And he started getting this question
- 15:17Speaker 1: that I feels happens to just about every couple. And
- 15:20Speaker 1: they've been together for a while. I think he's been
- 15:22Speaker 1: with his fiance. Was it's up, you know, just short
- 15:26Speaker 1: of a decade, maybe me, really six seven years or
- 15:29Speaker 1: something like that.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Okay, wait, can I guess the question?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Oh?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, sure?
- 15:33Speaker 3: Why did it take so long for you to propose?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yes?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Which is a question I feel like every couple gets
- 15:38Speaker 1: if they've been together for a long time and yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 1: you know, no one does any proposing or talking about
- 15:44Speaker 1: getting married or things like that. And so I wanted
- 15:46Speaker 1: to bring that question to you this morning. Seven oh
- 15:49Speaker 1: one two eight zero one nine eight seven. If you've
- 15:52Speaker 1: been together with someone for a long time and you're
- 15:55Speaker 1: you know, happy, and everything's going great, uh, why haven't
- 15:58Speaker 1: you got married yet? And it's a very annoying question.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I was I have been with Corey for what year?
- 16:05Speaker 1: I think like a decade?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, Mary, you've only been married for two.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Years, coming up for three here, but yeah, yeah, a
- 16:13Speaker 1: little over two.
- 16:14Speaker 4: So you guys were together for a grip of times
- 16:17Speaker 4: seven eight years or something like that. Oh, will you
- 16:19Speaker 4: answer that question?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Why did it take you so long to propose?
- 16:23Speaker 2: That is a good question. I don't really know.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I just don't think I was ready when we first
- 16:26Speaker 1: got together. I had after, you know, when we kind
- 16:29Speaker 1: of realized it was going to go somewhere. I remember
- 16:32Speaker 1: having a conversation with her, I was like, Hey, just
- 16:33Speaker 1: a heads up, like, I'm not getting married till I'm thirty.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm not doing this in my twenties. I'm gonna wait
- 16:38Speaker 1: till I'm at least thirty. And if you're cool with that,
- 16:41Speaker 1: we can keep it rolling. If you're thinking in the
- 16:43Speaker 1: next year something, we're gonna get engaged and get married,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm probably not gonna be about that life. And she
- 16:48Speaker 1: was cool with then, and she wrote it out with
- 16:50Speaker 1: me and waited until I was in my thirties.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Gabe, I really love that you communicated
- 16:55Speaker 4: that early one. You were very fourth right because I
- 17:00Speaker 4: get where you're coming from, trying to be yeah, and
- 17:04Speaker 4: to be more in a stable place.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Right before.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know if I was going to be
- 17:08Speaker 1: moving around a bunch. I didn't know, you know, because
- 17:11Speaker 1: when you are, when you have you know, this job
- 17:13Speaker 1: in specific, and it's not every job, but this job
- 17:15Speaker 1: sometimes you move around a lot, or switch locations or
- 17:19Speaker 1: and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to deal
- 17:21Speaker 1: with all that, while also being like, well, I propose,
- 17:25Speaker 1: so I guess I got to do this now. So yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 1: like a lot when I was twenty five twenty six
- 17:30Speaker 1: years old.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Well, and also because you're in your twenties and I
- 17:33Speaker 4: feel like I'm someone who I got married in my
- 17:37Speaker 4: early twenties and asked me if he and.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I are still together?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Didn't work out? I spoiled.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, And I remember in twenty two I'd had some
- 17:46Speaker 1: just crazy relationships, not like crazy bad or what have you,
- 17:50Speaker 1: but just like just gross relationships that ended horribly, and
- 17:54Speaker 1: I was like, I am just not I'm taking a pause.
- 17:57Speaker 1: We're together forever until I'm at lee thirty.
- 18:00Speaker 4: So I'm look at you now, married, expecting a baby.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Okay, So that makes sense.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It worked out for me.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, and so seven oh one too, eight zero one,
- 18:09Speaker 1: nine eighty seven. If you've been with someone for a
- 18:11Speaker 1: long time, you're not married. Uh, if you want to share,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you can. If you don't, that's totally fine. But why
- 18:16Speaker 1: not to let us know here this morning on Big
- 18:18Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, same thing. Tyler is starting to
- 18:20Speaker 1: get that question, especially he is thirty. He's thirty three now. Yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and I think that the pressure really cooks up when
- 18:27Speaker 1: you hit thirty. I think there's just some magical number
- 18:30Speaker 1: about it.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Yeah, No, that's true.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Once you're in your thirties, there's like an expectation, right, which.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is completely unfair. Carson, what about you?
- 18:39Speaker 5: My girlfriend and I have been together for ten years.
- 18:41Speaker 4: We just like the way things are and I don't
- 18:43Speaker 4: think we should mess with it.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Plus, we don't have the money for a wedding.
- 18:46Speaker 2: It's just it's just not practical for us.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that is true. Woes are wildly expensive. Yeah, unless
- 18:51Speaker 1: you want to obviously go to like the courthouse or something,
- 18:55Speaker 1: or that Vegas wedding.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Don't you just fit I did a Vegas littering.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Don't you feel like if you've been together for so long, like,
- 19:02Speaker 4: if it ain't broke, don't fix it?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Like I feel like I get that. I understand that too.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not necessarily for everyone.
- 19:08Speaker 5: What about you, Jessica, We've been together for thirteen years
- 19:12Speaker 5: and people act like for fugitives from that primony.
- 19:15Speaker 3: We own a home, we share a Costco membership and
- 19:18Speaker 3: knowing you know, there's phone passwords like we are in it.
- 19:22Speaker 4: No, I think sharing a Costco membership is more legally
- 19:26Speaker 4: binding is than an actual marriage certificate.
- 19:29Speaker 2: If you share a Costco membership, you're married. Yeah, I
- 19:35Speaker 2: need some good.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 19:41Speaker 5: good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I'm a feeling this story will just warm Angie's hard
- 19:48Speaker 1: here today in more ways than one, residents at Fergus
- 19:52Speaker 1: Falls Veterans Home are proving you're never too old for
- 19:55Speaker 1: summer nights as their choir takes the stage with a
- 19:59Speaker 1: spec production of Greece. After two months of rehearsals, the
- 20:04Speaker 1: cast performed a family friendly version of the classic musical
- 20:07Speaker 1: for a packed crowd this week. The production stars real
- 20:12Speaker 1: life married couple David and Beverly as Danny and Sandy,
- 20:16Speaker 1: along a fellow residents, singing classic like Grease Lightning, You're
- 20:20Speaker 1: the one, Uh, You're the one that I want. Many
- 20:23Speaker 1: of the performers say they had never even seen the
- 20:26Speaker 1: musical before rehearsals began, but that didn't stop them from
- 20:29Speaker 1: bringing the house down.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Close your eyes for just a moment and travel.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Back in time.
- 20:40Speaker 1: The cast says the best part has been performing for
- 20:44Speaker 1: proud family members and simply having fun together, proving a
- 20:47Speaker 1: little rock.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And roll never gets old. My heart.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I love this so much.
- 20:53Speaker 4: When I was in high school, I played Frenchy the
- 20:56Speaker 4: beauty school dropout.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That is the least surprising thing I've ever learned a value.
- 21:01Speaker 4: But I like, I'm obsessed and for sure when I
- 21:06Speaker 4: am in my seventies and eighties, I will absolutely still
- 21:10Speaker 4: be singing my heart out to all of the Grease
- 21:13Speaker 4: classes classics.
- 21:14Speaker 3: This makes my heart so full.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 1: When I was in you know what's funny, I had
- 21:18Speaker 1: never seen the movie Grease, Lightning or Grease. My first
- 21:23Speaker 1: experience to Greece at my high school. We had an
- 21:27Speaker 1: award winning drama class or theater production or whatever. Our
- 21:33Speaker 1: school was incredible when it came to plays and musicals. Yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 1: my first experience to Greece was at Robinsdale Cooper High
- 21:40Speaker 1: School in twenty twenty seven, watching a bunch of my
- 21:43Speaker 1: classmates and friends and perform Greece two thousand and seven. Yeah,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I would have seen it when I was like a sophomore.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It wasn't my senior year, but nice.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Well that's how it should be because I feel like Greece.
- 21:55Speaker 4: The movie in Greece the musical are a little.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Different, very different, but it's great.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I'm really the oh Man. I wish I could have
- 22:03Speaker 3: gone to that production. I wish I would have known.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You know my favorite quote. If you don't here, it
- 22:07Speaker 1: is broken crans. They still color, and the world is
- 22:10Speaker 1: full of nice people. If you can't find one, you
- 22:12Speaker 1: gotta be one.
