The devil has had man under captivity and oppression ever since man lost his God-given dominion to him through disobedience to God. Jesus' coming into the world was therefore to deliver man from the devil and reclaim for him his lost dominion. Today's Morning Devotion makes it clear that the devil remains resistant to man's deliverance and that it takes a man who is ready to resist the devil by faith, and not just engaged in funfair, to obtain his deliverance and healing.
