- Two Powerball Millionaires! This is The Lottery Rundown for Thursday September 24th Powerball drew Wednesday night with 5, 15, 26, 29 and 30, plus Powerball 14 and a 5X multiplier. Nobody matched all six, but ticket holders in Georgia and Pennsylvania each matched the five white balls for a 1 million dollar prize. Two new millionaires and no jackpot winner: the drawing built a tidy middle-management layer. All five white balls came from the lower half of the field, while 14 strengthened its lead as the most-drawn Powerball, appearing 50 times over the past six years. Does 14 need its own reserved parking space? Saturday’s jackpot is estimated at 360 million dollars, with a cash value of 153 million 600 thousand dollars. That could buy a chain of luxury treehouses with tiny elevators for the luggage. The run now stands at 18 drawings and 42 days without a jackpot winner, still a fairly ordinary wait. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Tuesday, September 22, with 7, 13, 26, 37 and 68, plus Mega Ball 8. No ticket matched all six, though one ticket holder in Colorado matched the five white balls for a 2 million dollar payday. Number 26 has appeared 54 times over the past six years, matching the frequency of two balls among the game’s five most drawn. Friday’s jackpot is estimated at 277 million dollars, with a cash value of 117 million 300 thousand dollars. The jackpot has rolled through 16 drawings and 56 days, which is close to the game’s typical gap.
