When is the Kingdom Coming? (LD 48; 1 Cor. 15:20-28)
In the Lord’s Prayer, the petition “Your kingdom come” may initially seem strange because Christ has already inaugurated His kingdom through His life, death, and resurrection. He also rules from heaven after ascending to the right hand of God. Different theological perspectives interpret the kingdom differently.
