- 0:30Anoshi. Welcome back everybody to
- 0:35another amazing episode of the None of Your Business podcast.
- 0:40I am really excited about our guests that we're going to have
- 0:42in a couple of minutes here. But first let me ask you guys to
- 0:45like, subscribe and follow. It's really important for our
- 0:47algorithms. It's really important for our.
- 0:49Egos we need to. Hear back from you guys.
- 0:52We're taking the feedback seriously.
- 0:53We're implementing it into our podcast like you're going to see
- 0:55here today with a starting off with a lightning round to engage
- 0:58in our conversation. We're loving every second of it.
- 1:00Art of doing that on our podcasts is we do something
- 1:04called a Lightning round where we ask you a bunch of questions
- 1:07and we want you to have like Family Feud style and you got
- 1:10fast money. You know, you got to answer the
- 1:12questions right away. We used to do it at the end of
- 1:14the podcast, but now we moved it to the beginning of the podcast
- 1:17so we can get a little bit of a flavor of what's to come or
- 1:20people can expect. OK, So what I'm going to ask you
- 1:23now nine questions, exactly 9 questions I'm going to ask you
- 1:26and you get 1. None of your business answer.
- 1:29You get one pass. So one of the nine questions, I
- 1:31could say nothing. One on the line you can you can
- 1:33pass. On.
- 1:33OK, so you're gonna answer your questions first, but before I
- 1:36answer them. You can ask them right away
- 1:37whatever comes on top of your head.
- 1:38The 1st and. How am I gonna know which I
- 1:40might want to pick? Let's say the 9th one or the
- 1:428th. Too late.
- 1:43Don't use it if you don't. Yeah, because, you know, you
- 1:46absolutely. They do have to use one be.
- 1:47Very careful. Use it wisely.
- 1:48Use it wisely. OK.
- 1:50So we're going to start the questions and.
- 1:51I want to add a 10th question at the end, by the way.
- 1:53A 10th question. Yeah, I just thought of
- 1:55something. OK, excellent, Excellent.
- 1:56OK. They're not, they're not such
- 1:57tough questions. They're just questions to really
- 1:59get a little feel for, you know, the things that you're going to
- 2:02be talking. And I already thought of an
- 2:0311th. I'm having so much fun already.
- 2:06OK, this is great. This is great.
- 2:07All right. Nice.
- 2:08You ready? I'm ready.
- 2:08All right, here we go. All right.
- 2:09Question one. If you wouldn't live in America,
- 2:13where else in the world would you live other than Israel?
- 2:15It's a great question. I don't know if I have the
- 2:18answer. It's a great question.
- 2:19I don't know. Oh wow, OK, I guess you have so
- 2:21many. It's a great question.
- 2:22You have too many places. It's 30 places.
- 2:23I will it will save it for the actual for the actual podcast.
- 2:27Which country was the most boring country you visited?
- 2:34Belgium. Belgium.
- 2:35OK, sorry Belgium. Which country had the best
- 2:40looking people? The best looking people.
- 2:42I hope my wife's not listening. Probably Italy.
- 2:47Italy. OK, Sam, that makes sense.
- 2:49OK. How much money was the most
- 2:51expensive trip you ever took? Probably 25,000. 25,000 it's
- 2:56pretty reasonable. It's only 24,000 more than I've
- 2:58ever spent. If you didn't travel as a hobby,
- 3:02what else would your other hobby be?
- 3:04I. Like boating?
- 3:06Boating. And I love convertibles, so I
- 3:08guess anything outdoors with the wind in my face.
- 3:10OK. Well, I'm going to jump into
- 3:11that one other question that I was thinking of, which is what
- 3:15is the most expensive car you ever drove?
- 3:18So I've driven a few expensive cars Bentley GT see the the the
- 3:24fast edition but it was like a crazy one out of 100.
- 3:28OK. Or I've driven a Ferrari as well
- 3:32and. Like drove it fast.
- 3:35Did you actually drive it? You're a rule follower.
- 3:36Did you actually? Did you actually really, really
- 3:39driving? It couldn't because it wasn't my
- 3:40car. You got to be careful, yeah.
- 3:43You can't afford to put a dent in that car, OK?
- 3:45Go ahead, I see. OK, next question, what was the
- 3:48most annoying thing any of the people you've traveled with in
- 3:52the past did? So I went traveling with a
- 3:56friend who was very cheap at one time and I just don't want to
- 3:59give out too much information. But it was a very hot day and we
- 4:03asked for suntan lotion to borrow and he he did not want to
- 4:07give it to us because we're paying him back.
- 4:12And he actually did. I was like, whoa, you're going.
- 4:14To get a seller request at the end of this project.
- 4:17I think that was the holy. That's funny.
- 4:19That's that's brutal. If you could bring one thing on
- 4:23a trip, what was the one thing you kept bringing on your trips?
- 4:26Besides money, clothes and your phone, What would that one thing
- 4:29be that you have to have on your trips?
- 4:31I guess a good attitude and the open outlook.
- 4:34I like that answer. Yeah, I like wool traveling.
- 4:36You know when people go travel a lot, like they're already in a
- 4:38bad mood just by the time they get on the plane, You know,
- 4:41until they actually get their destination.
- 4:42Not me. All right, What's?
- 4:44The What's the weirdest place you ever slept for a night?
- 4:48The weirdest place and in terms of country or just situation?
- 4:53Situation. Yeah.
- 4:54Situation. Like did you fall asleep on the
- 4:58wall of China? I feel like what was it like
- 5:00did? You sleep on a park bench one
- 5:01night somewhere in the. No, but I did.
- 5:04I did say in like airport like like let's say the flight was
- 5:07cancelled or whatever, like. Slept overnight at the airport.
- 5:09And the bed. We've all been there.
- 5:11OK, that or nothing crazy creamy like a euro rail train, but that
- 5:15was supposed to be, it had like a cabin.
- 5:17Meant to sleep there. It was meant to sleep OK.
- 5:19We don't feel bad for you first time, that's the question.
- 5:21Yeah, other than English and other than any language you do
- 5:24speak, what language would you love to speak?
- 5:27I like Italian and French, so it's a hard one between those
- 5:31two in terms of the way the language.
- 5:34Yeah, French was a cool one. I think it sounds really, you
- 5:36know, it sounds like they're smarter than everybody else
- 5:39where they talk with their accents.
- 5:41OK, it's a phenomenal. I love it.
- 5:42Listen, we have lots of ground to cover, so I want to get
- 5:47started. I want to get started and I want
- 5:48to ask you first the following question.
- 5:51When was that moment that you decided I want to travel, I want
- 5:56to go see the world. I'm not content with just my
- 5:59immediate surroundings and I know there's more out there and
- 6:02I and I want to go out there to explore.
- 6:04What was that moment? Did that happen?
- 6:06And what was the 1st place you decided to go to?
- 6:08That first trip, the 1st place you went to?
- 6:11How did that all unfold? Tell us about.
- 6:12You so first, it wasn't a matter being not content.
- 6:16I would say it's a more. It's a more, was more for me of
- 6:19seeing that there's a lot bigger world out there than just the
- 6:22place that I live in. When I really started
- 6:24travelling, I was in school in Israel for a year and she bought
- 6:28and on the way back to America, I'm like, you know what, we're
- 6:32passing through Europe. Let's, let's, let's see a little
- 6:36bit of Europe. And I bought a Euro rail pass
- 6:38where you're able to go to any country that the train goes to
- 6:41in Europe. What's the What's a Euro trail?
- 6:43Explain that if you don't mind. It's basically like a Amtrak or
- 6:46like a local train that you would have, let's say in
- 6:48America. And instead of going like from
- 6:50state to sea that we would have here, it just goes from country
- 6:53to country. So let's say you could take
- 6:55train from Italy to Slovenia or Croatia or Russia or Germany,
- 6:59Holland, and you could just every day you could basically
- 7:01wake up in a different country. And so it's awesome.
- 7:03I mean, I don't know, of course today.
- 7:04Then it was like 5 or 600, I think $500 and it was like a
- 7:08like a 30 day rail, like a 30 day pass.
- 7:10And you're able to as many countries as you want.
- 7:12Wow. But that direct like a monthly
- 7:14bus. Pass.
- 7:14Yeah. Wow, that's great.
- 7:16And it's awesome. And it really goes through all
- 7:17the different countries. I mean, so that was your, that's
- 7:20how you traveled. That was our.
- 7:21Logistics behind I started it OK then I was like whoa this is
- 7:25really cool I love this you know and.
- 7:28Were you by yourself? That one with a friend, OK.
- 7:30You're on with a friend. OK, OK.
- 7:31So then you came back and then you settled in and then he
- 7:33decided I'm taking a trip, like a real trip planned out.
- 7:37Like you, you, you, you always had it planned to a tee.
- 7:40Like you knew exactly where you were going to go, how long
- 7:42you're going to go for. So tell us about the first trip,
- 7:44a major trip that you took, where you went, what it was
- 7:47like, it was the rundown. 1st I went to Italy, I started off in
- 7:52Rome, I went to the Southern Colosseum, obviously the
- 7:55Vatican, which is actually it's own country.
- 7:57The whole it's called Holy Land. It's, it's actually considered a
- 8:00country at Holy City. I think either, I think it's
- 8:03called Holy City actually. And from the air I went to Pisa,
- 8:08which the Leaning Tower of Pisa and with the Florence and
- 8:10Dennis. And then from the air I took a
- 8:13train to Slovenia and went through Washington and Croatia.
- 8:18So just like a little passing through.
- 8:20What would you do in each of these places?
- 8:22So let's say in Rome I went in the Coliseum.
- 8:24So you went to go see historical?
- 8:25I went to see historical sites where the main the main.
- 8:27The main attraction? And then so the Austria,
- 8:35Germany, and then let's say I went to Germany, so I went to
- 8:37Munich, so I went to concentration camps in Dafao,
- 8:41which is very, you know, which was very.
- 8:43Important. It's very.
- 8:44Very important experience of people realize.
- 8:47What important to do on an organized trip to go to these
- 8:49places in Germany of? Course.
- 8:51And then from there I went to Switzerland.
- 8:54So I saw some of the Alps which were gorgeous and the hungry I
- 8:58went to Budapest and the city King Buda and Pest that's just
- 9:02it's a beautiful. I have a gorgeous parliament
- 9:04over there, just beautiful city. Just walking around is like a
- 9:07very famous St. called Vazi St. and it was just beautiful and
- 9:13that's it. So that was your first, like,
- 9:15experience traveling? Yeah.
- 9:17And Paris. OK, so travel and you got the
- 9:19bug. Yeah, you got the bug, you would
- 9:21say. So traveling.
- 9:22And you realize that this is kind of what I want to do.
- 9:24And then you you just escalated. You took that up, you kept
- 9:28leveling up and you kept going to more places.
- 9:29So what was the first like crazy place that you went to?
- 9:33Crazy you're. In the Middle East, you've been
- 9:37to the Middle East, right? But I mean, I guess you certain
- 9:40people call it crazy. Yeah.
- 9:41I mean, for the year, it's regular day life, just like me,
- 9:45you and I live over here, OK, People that have a day-to-day
- 9:47life over there. So it might be very different
- 9:50than what we're used to. I mean, I've been to, let's say,
- 9:52like I guess in parts of Africa, Zimbabwe, Zombie, Botswana,
- 9:56Namibia and certain parts of South Africa that were, you
- 9:59know, very different than here, which I love because, you know,
- 10:02every day you have your regular day life.
- 10:04So when you travel, for me, I like to see something different
- 10:07that I'm not used to over here. Right.
- 10:09So you went to Africa, right? You went to the jungle?
- 10:13Yeah. Saw all the animals.
- 10:14Yeah. What did you do for food, For
- 10:15kosher food? How did you manage that?
- 10:16So in South Africa there's actually a lot of kosher
- 10:19restaurants in Johannesburg and also in Cape Town.
- 10:23The other parts we just brought with us like soups, noodle soups
- 10:28and different micro like microwave meals.
- 10:31So you just pat Foods? Yeah.
- 10:33Is it ever a challenge to you to travel when it came to food?
- 10:35Because I like to travel so much as much as I like to eat the the
- 10:39travel comes. The travel is a priority over
- 10:41the food. You would sacrifice so.
- 10:44So you went to Africa, OK, I know you've been to the Middle
- 10:46East. Have you been to like Iran?
- 10:48Have you been to Afghanistan? Any of these places?
- 10:50I've been to Afghanistan, which is not in the Middle East.
- 10:53OK, yes, I've been to Afghanistan, Kabul, which is
- 10:55super cool. Kabul.
- 10:57Yeah, OK. Which was I mean.
- 10:58These are not places you can go to today.
- 11:00You can't go to Afghanistan. No, no, today you cannot go.
- 11:02I mean, you could probably go just so it's a lot more, a lot
- 11:05more dangerous. I don't even know if they would
- 11:06let you in because because the Taliban is in charge now in
- 11:09Rule. So I don't know.
- 11:11But when I went, Taliban did not take over.
- 11:14Just the Yeah. So you wore your Yamaha when we
- 11:16were there? No, I didn't.
- 11:17No, you didn't. So you concealed your identity.
- 11:20Right, I mean, right, I wore actually I wore it's called in
- 11:24Pakistan, they call it shall wear Carmese, but in it's in in
- 11:28Afghanistan, they call it like a pedant Tuban.
- 11:30It's like the long gown that they wear, right.
- 11:32So I wore that and they wore a hat, but they they just see
- 11:35supposed to be like. So you blend it in, so you.
- 11:36Wore whatever. Wow, that's that's smart.
- 11:39Nothing. To do about Judaism, just any
- 11:41foreigner is basically a a target is a target exactly
- 11:45nothing to do with you. You want to integrate with the
- 11:47culture by wearing their garments.
- 11:49Very cool with the. Religion just in general they
- 11:51tell you any far where? Did you sleep in Afghanistan?
- 11:54So I actually didn't, I flew it to Dubai to sleep.
- 11:56So I came there in like 6:00 in the morning, so.
- 11:59You you landed first in. Afghanistan, Afghanistan.
- 12:01I was there for the airport. Afghanistan airport What's the
- 12:04airport? What's it called?
- 12:05In Kabul. Oh, so it's Kabul has the
- 12:07airport. OK, Kabul's a city in
- 12:08Afghanistan. It's the capital.
- 12:10It's the capital and basically it was crazy security actually
- 12:15coming, coming over there. I was actually.
- 12:16Really. To get into Afghanistan.
- 12:18Right. While you're actually in the
- 12:20airport, leaving the airport to get into town, there's like
- 12:22gates and like the, the airport is surrounded like by like by
- 12:26fences and things. They, you know, they took
- 12:29security very, very seriously. Of course.
- 12:31And I did have body and armed guards with us.
- 12:35I was there. You did?
- 12:36Yeah, of course. Oh, so you hired private
- 12:38security? Yeah, interested.
- 12:40You didn't just walk around on your own.
- 12:42It's not like that type of Joe. Even though Taliban was not in
- 12:47in they were ruling them. You still had to be very, very
- 12:50cautious where you could go and what you could do.
- 12:52Were you nervous? Or were you with?
- 12:53I was with one other person, one other person and they had two
- 12:57bodyguards, a driver and and the.
- 13:00Tour guide have that was there any time that you were nervous
- 13:02not. There no was.
- 13:04And then where were you? Nervous.
- 13:06So there were times I was nervous, but it was, it was just
- 13:09because it was like a mis, a misunderstanding or
- 13:11miscommunication. It wasn't really because
- 13:13anything, anyone was, for example, bad.
- 13:15So I was in Lebanon. Lebanon, that's a dangerous
- 13:20place. I mean, these are places that
- 13:21are not accessible anymore, right?
- 13:23I mean, you know, for some, but yeah, I guess you know,
- 13:26definitely. I don't know with security, No,
- 13:28Lebanon didn't go with security. Wow and did you dress up the
- 13:31part in Lebanon as? Well, no, not.
- 13:33At all, Yeah. Because it's a modern country.
- 13:35It's not. People don't wear Lebanon as
- 13:37well. Not religious.
- 13:38Yeah. It's it's actually the most
- 13:40unreligious. What's it called?
- 13:42Arabic state. Yeah.
- 13:44Like in middle. What's it called?
- 13:45Middle East country, basically. There is really.
- 13:48Yeah. I mean, there's Hezbollah and
- 13:50they take things very, very seriously.
- 13:51They take share you're a law seriously.
- 13:53But in terms of, in terms of the regular people that live over
- 13:56there, they're more, they're more, they're more like there's
- 14:01like nightclubs and there's drinking.
- 14:03Like in Qatar, Bahrain, there's no, they don't have any clubs
- 14:06and things like that. Or even Dubai now, it's becoming
- 14:09more moderate and stuff. But when I was here like 12
- 14:11years ago, you were only, let's say, allowed to drink and like
- 14:14certain specific hotel zones added that like me, I was
- 14:17actually there with my wife and we were by, we were by like in
- 14:20Abu Dhabi, by the great, the Grand, the Great Mosque, which
- 14:23is gorgeous. And we were, you know, my arm
- 14:26was around. You're like taking a picture.
- 14:28And then there were police that came over to us and said you're
- 14:30not allowed to do that. So you know no public.
- 14:33Affection. Thank.
- 14:34God, they warned you, by the way, and didn't arrest you.
- 14:36We've heard those stories, you know, happen where people got
- 14:39arrested for something so little, you know?
- 14:41Exactly. And they don't play games.
- 14:43What's your what's your rules with going into mosques or
- 14:46churches? I'm curious, have you?
- 14:47Gone into mosques, I've got the. Mosque, yes, absolutely.
- 14:49So in terms of a Jew, there's no issue going into a mosque at all
- 14:52because they believe in the same God that we believe.
- 14:54Even they call him Allah, we call him Masham, but they don't,
- 14:57they don't believe in it's all man, it's all one they believe
- 15:01in, in one God. So there's no issue in terms of
- 15:04that. Wow, Wow.
- 15:06When you were in Lebanon OR even in Afghanistan, like what did
- 15:08you do there? What was the recreational
- 15:11activity that you did when you went there?
- 15:13So wasn't more as a kid, I always had an interest in the
- 15:16Middle East. I don't know.
- 15:18I don't know exactly why I can't.
- 15:19I don't have one specific thing that I could pinpoint it or you
- 15:23know, say that's the reason I always had AI always had an
- 15:26interest to travel in the Middle East.
- 15:28Maybe just because like as when you're young, you're in school
- 15:30and you learn about the Bible and all these historic events
- 15:33took place over there. I just felt like I had a certain
- 15:35connection exactly to them, even though I was never actually
- 15:38there. I just felt like in that whole
- 15:39area. I just, you know, wanted to be
- 15:42in, you know, let's say like Egypt.
- 15:43You just. You've been to.
- 15:44Egypt. I've been to Egypt.
- 15:45Yes, I've been to Cairo, I've been to the pyramids, and it's
- 15:48one of the most amazing sights that you could probably see in
- 15:50your life. Inside the pyramid.
- 15:52You don't go actually inside, right, You know, but you take a
- 15:54horse. I thought you could take a camel
- 15:55horse or walk around the Sphinx and it's it's a sight that's
- 15:58like, hey, you don't forget. You know, I remember being in
- 16:02Peru and someone mentioning like, this is one of the wonders
- 16:04of the world, right? Have you been missing out on any
- 16:06of the wonders? Actually Machu Picchu.
- 16:08Very good. Thank you.
- 16:09I think that's the only one. That's the only one.
- 16:10Tell us what the other ones are. So the the Great Wall of China.
- 16:13Yep, you've been there. Been there, which is also
- 16:15amazing. Which is.
- 16:17And you walked on the Great Wall.
- 16:18Of yeah, the gradual that that's a wall.
- 16:19So you actually walk because it's actually like a ramp.
- 16:22I mean, it goes for I don't know how many miles or how many
- 16:26steps, but there's it's a very, very large.
- 16:28You can't walk end to end. No, it's impossible.
- 16:30It's more like, I think, I don't know, but there's one place
- 16:33called Badali, which is probably about two hours from Beijing and
- 16:35that's like the main tourist attraction where like the best
- 16:38pictures and the best. So that is that's what were the
- 16:41others Taj Mahal in New Delhi and it's actually in Agra.
- 16:45Everyone thinks it's in New Delhi, but it's it's an Agra in,
- 16:48in, in. So you've been to the.
- 16:49Taj Mahal, Yes. OK.
- 16:50Is it as pretty as advertising? It is beautiful.
- 16:52Yes, it's gorgeous. And they have gorgeous, they
- 16:54make it into like a like a place where people can go and do
- 16:57things like is there like a like a market over there or is it
- 17:00just like. Not really.
- 17:02It's, it's more, it's more remote like you know, but there,
- 17:05there are things next to it. There's a place called Agra Fort
- 17:08which is a very big tourist site right next to it.
- 17:10What is the Taj Mahal? What's inside?
- 17:11So there's a shrine. It's it's a shrine that someone
- 17:14actually built, a mausoleum that someone built for their wife.
- 17:17Interesting. Yeah.
- 17:19And but it just, it's a gorgeous, it's a gorgeous
- 17:22structure in terms of the colors, everything sparkles.
- 17:25Nobody lives inside. No, no, no, no.
- 17:26There's no like office buildings.
- 17:28No, there's no office buildings. It's just like, like a stat, no
- 17:30crime. Source.
- 17:30Yeah, exactly. Yeah, sort of like a Statue of
- 17:32Liberty. OK, OK, man, that's that's two.
- 17:34OK. The Sphinx are another one.
- 17:37The pyramids. The Great Pyramids.
- 17:39OK, Giza, That's three. Rather in the world.
- 17:44There's officially like 9 I think, right?
- 17:46I don't know. I think there's like a little
- 17:47less than a dozen 7 Well, there's the new 7 wonders of the
- 17:51world the. Natural ones and then there's
- 17:53like built like certain buildings.
- 17:54I think that people consider it. Oh so.
- 17:56So what else? What others?
- 17:58What else? Turkey and Greece.
- 17:59I've been to Turkey, even to Greece.
- 18:00I don't know if any of the I don't know if any of the
- 18:03Wanderers are over there, no. Most likely not.
- 18:07What else is one of the Wanderers?
- 18:09See you you haven't been to Peru yet?
- 18:11I have not been true. OK.
- 18:13And that's one of the ones you want to go to.
- 18:15Right. That is definitely one of the
- 18:16ones I want to go. And Petra and Jordan, which I've
- 18:19been to, it's basically the there was a dynasty called the
- 18:22Nabateen dynasty and they carved out like mountains in the shape
- 18:27of houses, which is beautiful. Wow.
- 18:30It's in Petra, Jordan. In there, you've been inside.
- 18:32I've been inside. Yeah, that you can actually go
- 18:34inside and. People live there and no, no,
- 18:35no. It's, it's, it's, it's just,
- 18:37it's, it's a, it's a historic. Historical size.
- 18:40Historical size, right, which I've.
- 18:41Been to a village in Turkey. Actually, they have the hotels
- 18:45in the mountains. Oh, that's gorgeous.
- 18:47So so I think there are actually some because they're they're
- 18:49ancient like wonders in this present day.
- 18:52So I don't know if there's like different things and I, I
- 18:54believe it's a Chrysler Redeemer and Brazil and Rio de Janeiro is
- 18:58one as well, which I live there. Yes, I've been there.
- 19:00Brazil's a dangerous place. And there are slums, there are
- 19:03neighborhoods that are bad like any country, but in general.
- 19:06Anytime you're in South America, you know, like all bets are off,
- 19:09like, you know, anything can happen, so.
- 19:11Wherever you go, you just can't keep.
- 19:12You got to just keep. You got to just, you know, be
- 19:15aware of your surroundings and don't go to the wrong
- 19:17neighborhoods and just stay out of trouble and.
- 19:20You should what? Was the weather like in Brazil?
- 19:21It was beautiful. Is it beautiful all year round?
- 19:24I don't know. I think they have the opposite.
- 19:25They have the opposite of us and they're like in the other side,
- 19:27like sort of like South Africa. They have their winter, we have
- 19:30our summer. But where the crisis Redeemer is
- 19:33in Rio de Janeiro, it's one of the most gorgeous views.
- 19:37It's called Sugarloaf Mountain, and it is the most spectacular
- 19:41views that you'll see. Wow.
- 19:43What parts of the world have you traveled when you felt like,
- 19:45wow, these guys have a talent that the world needs to speak
- 19:48about? Like, you know, something unique
- 19:50about the people in the culture that they do things so
- 19:53amazingly. Like you have to speak about it.
- 19:55Italy in terms of the most gorgeous, beautiful places and
- 19:59so much to see in a small country, I would say Italy has
- 20:03such a vast variety in terms of from the South, let's say a
- 20:06Malfi coast, you have places like Pasitano and Sorrento where
- 20:10has like. Like mountains carved out, like
- 20:13houses on the mountains, which are gorgeous with like the
- 20:16beach, with the beaches in the background with gorgeous blue
- 20:19water. And then you have so much
- 20:21history in terms of Pompeii. You have the Coliseum, which is
- 20:27amazing. You have just so much going on
- 20:30in Italy as well in terms of a small country that I think is
- 20:33amazing. You know, yeah.
- 20:34And the I guess Italy is your top pick because?
- 20:37It's just it's, it's, it's also in terms of kosher food, there's
- 20:40a. Lot of options of kosher.
- 20:41There's good culture. Tons of kosher food.
- 20:45Has there been a place where the you know, you're saying that,
- 20:47you know, once you're there with the culture and you know, people
- 20:49are nice, but is there a place where there's just, it's just
- 20:51ugly. It's just like the people you
- 20:53feel it when you when you step down, just like.
- 20:55Listen to this, but I'm not coming back here again.
- 20:58So again, it could be just a bad day and I I, I hate to say this.
- 21:03Because the ambassador of the country is not listening.
- 21:05No, no, not bad. Just because you know it could.
- 21:07Be bad exactly from the start of your business podcast because no
- 21:12one from India can listen to the none of your business.
- 21:13Podcast There were parts of India that I did not like and.
- 21:16How did I guess? How did you know that?
- 21:18I just didn't like it wasn't necessarily the people, it was
- 21:20just let's say like the government, like just it was
- 21:22stupid things. But for me it was just annoying.
- 21:24For example, like I had a flight and it was delayed for like 7 or
- 21:288 hours and they wouldn't let us out of the airport.
- 21:31Like if I would have let, if I would have left the airport, you
- 21:33forfeit your whole entire ticket.
- 21:35Wow. No.
- 21:37That was just like, I'm like I'm here for another 7 hours, let me
- 21:39at least get out. I will go to town and see more
- 21:41like, no, you can't do that. You can't leave.
- 21:43Nope. They cannot.
- 21:44Leave the airport. Right.
- 21:45I guess for security measures. So I guess kudos to them.
- 21:48For me, as a traveler, I did not enjoy that.
- 21:51I'm just curious, in the United States, have you travelled the
- 21:53States? I've been to some places, maybe
- 21:55like 25 states, but I feel like I could always do that now that
- 21:57I don't. I think America is the most
- 21:59beautiful country and an amazing place.
- 22:01I I just feel like I could do that later on.
- 22:03Right now my passion is to have more countries as opposed.
- 22:06To that is a that is a good. Point, Michael, if you're going
- 22:08from state to state America, the differences aren't so
- 22:11discernible, saying it's all very similar again if some of
- 22:14them have certain different highlights.
- 22:16But golden country to country, of course world changes.
- 22:19Of course. Everything changes, the people
- 22:21change, the culture change, the landscape changes everything
- 22:23around the language. Changes.
- 22:25I'm a big animal lover. What country has some of the
- 22:28most unique animals? So unique animals.
- 22:31I mean, definitely in South America you have Jaguars, which
- 22:34you don't have anywhere else in the world.
- 22:35Cool. Have you seen?
- 22:36Jaguars. I haven't, but I'm just just in
- 22:38general, yeah. I mean, I've seen the zoos, but
- 22:41not in not in the Amazon or whatever, but going to going to
- 22:45any, any, any, any safari. You know, I went to Cho.
- 22:49We park in Botswana. We had elephant crossing in the
- 22:52road. And that's something I think
- 22:53about from time to time. It was like, wow, over here we
- 22:56have deer, which is pretty cool. Over there was actually
- 22:58elephants crossing the street, you know, like a few blocks away
- 23:02from. Traffic because there's an
- 23:04elephant. Crossing, yeah.
- 23:04I mean, not much traffic going around, but yeah, it was pretty,
- 23:07pretty cool. I mean, but when you go over
- 23:09there, you see the most, you know, lions which are only
- 23:12technically in Africa. I mean, there's mountain lions
- 23:14here locally, but no. I'm curious.
- 23:17You have a nice watch on, right? It seems like you're a good
- 23:19you're you're a watch guy, right?
- 23:20You like you like nice watches. Do you wear that when you travel
- 23:23to these places? No, no, you're conscious about
- 23:26this. You're.
- 23:27It depends. Weird though.
- 23:28OK, where I'm where I'm going to go to like a regular like a
- 23:31place I don't have to worry about safety in any bit I do
- 23:34take it otherwise I. I want to talk about from the
- 23:36questions that we asked you earlier, you know, did you get
- 23:40through this question about any friends that you made traveling
- 23:43around the world? Any friends that you made that
- 23:45you can say like, you know what, yeah, I'm still in touch with
- 23:47that person or I can't wait to go back to spend time there.
- 23:51So not really. I made a lot of friends.
- 23:53There's some certain people are saying in Thailand I met
- 23:55someone. No, actually to Thailand.
- 23:57Yeah, Well, that's an interesting place.
- 23:58Thailand. Wow.
- 24:00So Thailand is like. But I feel like Thailand is very
- 24:04Everyone in Israel finishes, the army goes to Thailand.
- 24:06Yeah. It's like, yeah.
- 24:07Americans, it's more exotic and there's a.
- 24:09Huge Chabad presence here. Great Shabbos program.
- 24:12The biggest pace off seizures in the world?
- 24:15There's about 1800 people. Whoa, what cap?
- 24:18That I didn't even know. In publishing ma Yeah,
- 24:21interesting. One of the biggest?
- 24:22What's going on? Because it's cheap, so Israelis
- 24:24travel there usually. I like Michael said after the
- 24:27Army and in general it's very cheap and a lot of fun and just
- 24:31great vibes all around. It's just like there's so much
- 24:33stuff to do with in Thailand. And actually by a Friday night
- 24:36dinner, I met somebody that I actually keep up with.
- 24:39He's actually like a French producer, and I keep up with
- 24:43him, you know, like, from time to time, just say what's up,
- 24:45like, how are you? Let me text you.
- 24:46Yeah, we're not very close, but there are people, you know, I
- 24:49met a lot of cool people, you know, around, but I don't
- 24:52necessarily keep up with anyone specifically or feel like I want
- 24:54to go back to that place to meet that person.
- 24:57But in general, I have acquired friends in a lot of different
- 25:00places. What is your?
- 25:00Favorite trip of all time that you did?
- 25:04So again, it's it's every place you go to or everything had a
- 25:08unique story or a unique experience.
- 25:13I don't know if I have, I don't know if I have like a favorite
- 25:16place or a favorite trip that I went to.
- 25:18Every place that I went to had a different uniqueness to it.
- 25:22I have to tell you, there are a few travelers that I've started
- 25:24to follow. There's someone named Ezra
- 25:25Badonski and then Benny Bennett. And if you've heard of these
- 25:28guys and they travel and they record their travels and it's
- 25:32amazing and they say the same thing.
- 25:33It's just impossible to pick one big.
- 25:35The world is just so big and we want to just keep.
- 25:38So many cool places, yeah. Yeah.
- 25:39So it'd be hard to, you know, pick a few favorites, right?
- 25:43Interesting. And from all the places that
- 25:45you've been to, have you ever had like any scary things happen
- 25:49to you? Like any, like I know maybe you
- 25:51got sick in a place and you have to go to their hospital and like
- 25:54you know, you've been to a lot of third world countries.
- 25:55Right, right. So when I came to Lebanon, I did
- 25:58not have Israel on my on my on my passport.
- 26:00OK, now I knew it's you're not allowed to have it and I did not
- 26:04come there with it. And person by the security looks
- 26:07at me for like a few minutes. He looks at my passport really,
- 26:09really slow. He doesn't ask me.
- 26:11He tells me he's like, you weren't Israel.
- 26:13He tells me look at him and he said look at my passport, I know
- 26:19the laws. You're not going to come to
- 26:20Lebanon with an Israeli stamp. And I do not have more.
- 26:24So I'm not sure what the issue is.
- 26:25And they said if I went there, you see how many countries I've
- 26:27been to, I have nothing to do with Israel.
- 26:30If I went there, I went to like any other country, but I do not
- 26:32have it on my passport. It's like, wait one minute.
- 26:35I said, OK, no problem. So just like that.
- 26:36It was just like a little like hippie, like I don't know what's
- 26:38going to be or whatever. And he comes back after a few
- 26:41minutes. He's like, OK, he's like we take
- 26:43special security measure with you.
- 26:46I'm like, OK, he's like, I take picture from your passport.
- 26:49I said no problem, That sounds reasonable, right, Very
- 26:51reasonable. I was like, OK, so good, I'm
- 26:53good. I could go.
- 26:54He's like, sure. And that's it.
- 26:56So just it was like a few minutes and not of the unknown.
- 26:59But while I once I once I pass through the actual, you know,
- 27:03getting in, you mean. You didn't have a drone
- 27:05following you the entire time. I don't know.
- 27:07Very fast. You know, we shouldn't take it
- 27:09for granted. That's the only country in the
- 27:13world where you could rely on some type of reasonable
- 27:17government that's not going to like, prosecute you unjustly.
- 27:22And I'm talking about an extreme level.
- 27:24Obviously, there's always, you know, local politics, things
- 27:26like that. But like, if you go to any other
- 27:28country in the world, all bets are off.
- 27:30Like, you don't know what they're capable of.
- 27:32They could do anything. But in this country, we're very
- 27:34fortunate that we don't have this kind of horror stories.
- 27:37We don't have to worry about an official pulling out his garden
- 27:40and just shooting you and and for no reason.
- 27:43And they can get away with it. Like over here.
- 27:44There's some like there's we are not just a like democratic
- 27:49country. We are a civilized moral country
- 27:52and the rest of the world isn't say.
- 27:54Iran, the people that live over the air are dying for peace with
- 27:58Israel and America they love, are they?
- 28:01Of course, most of all, I would say 80% of the country want that
- 28:06they. Wait a second.
- 28:07Wow. You're saying you're saying
- 28:08something now that I don't know if I agree with it, that I hope
- 28:10you're right. You're telling me if you would
- 28:12poll Palestine, Iran, Iraq, the people, just the people, and you
- 28:18ask them, are you OK with what your government is currently
- 28:21doing, what they stand for and what their mission statement is?
- 28:25Or do you wish this would all be eradicated and you could just
- 28:28live in peace and harmony, not just with Israel, but with the
- 28:30rest of the world and let everybody do their thing?
- 28:33And you're going to do your thing.
- 28:34I was going to bother each other.
- 28:35What do you think the the people would come back with?
- 28:37So I think the poll would be people who weren't obviously
- 28:40were brainwashed as a kid to hate or anything they Western
- 28:43civilization and culture. I think they would say no, that
- 28:46they're not OK with their government stance and
- 28:49everything, and they would. And yes, they stand for peace.
- 28:51They stand for peace. I would say most of the people.
- 28:53But you just said if they weren't brainwashed, right?
- 28:55But they have been already. A lot of all they do in their
- 28:58systems is teach them about the rest of the world is evil.
- 29:02Everything needs to be Sharia law.
- 29:03There's only one God. And we got to make sure that
- 29:05we're sending that message and spreading it across the globe at
- 29:07all costs, whether it's murder, whether it's becoming martyrs,
- 29:10whatever. That's what they've been
- 29:10talking. About.
- 29:11But I believe it's only the extreme extremes that actually
- 29:14do believe that. I believe the day-to-day people,
- 29:17yes, go to any person. I ran you.
- 29:19Know why I have a hard time believing it?
- 29:21Because at a certain junction, if the majority of the people
- 29:24truly had a certain will, at a certain point there would be a
- 29:28tactic to overthrow the government.
- 29:29I think that's to take them. Wouldn't they try that look in
- 29:32the last year and a half, what's going on with protests?
- 29:34Iran woman that took off their their their face that their head
- 29:39scarfed Exactly And they came to protest and they got killed or
- 29:42whatever the case is, they got jailed.
- 29:44No, I understand that, but I that's because I don't think
- 29:46it's the majority of the country.
- 29:48People are just scared to stand up, even if they actually
- 29:50believe in it. Just there is.
- 29:52I think something that's eye opening or was eye eye opening
- 29:55to me is the fact that there's over 2 billion Muslims in the
- 29:59world. So if you take a small
- 30:00percentage of it, that's the extreme.
- 30:02That's still millions of people. And that's what we're hearing a
- 30:06lot of the media and that's what.
- 30:07We hear a lot in general, not the majority, though.
- 30:09It's really not the majority. And it's a lot of people know
- 30:12that we have to, you know, I feel very sorry for.
- 30:14I bought a car. I bought a car recently from a
- 30:16guy who was an Iranian. I'm an Iranian, an Iranian who
- 30:19his mother still lives in Iran. And he says that he's proud, and
- 30:24his people are proud that they protect the burial site of some
- 30:28of the holiest Jews that were ever alive.
- 30:30Have you been there? I have not been there but
- 30:31Mordecai Nester is buried in Hamadan and it's on my top 10.
- 30:36So you haven't been to? Didn't mean to correct you in
- 30:38the first few. You were in Iraq.
- 30:40Then I was not been to Iraq. And oh, Iraq, yeah, that's close
- 30:44enough. Yeah.
- 30:44That's why I'm like, yeah. Definitely in proximity.
- 30:47OK, OK, that's fast. Iraq.
- 30:48What's Iraq like? So it was cool.
- 30:50I actually only went to the northern part.
- 30:51I didn't go to Baghdad at that point.
- 30:52Today I would go to Baghdad, but I only went to Kurdistan.
- 30:56Was Saddam Hussein at the time? No, No.
- 30:58He was already out of power. Only I went in 2019.
- 31:00OK, so I only went to the Kurdistan fire, which is Erbil,
- 31:05that's the capital of the Kurdistan fire.
- 31:07And it was cool. I was only there for literally
- 31:10like 1/2 a day so. Where haven't you gone to yet?
- 31:12What's what's on your bucket list?
- 31:13Right, he said that. Well, again, the top ten lists,
- 31:16right? You said there's, there's Iran.
- 31:17Iran, right? It's Peru.
- 31:19Peru. But it's not.
- 31:20I don't know if it's my top. I would I want to go there my my
- 31:23mind, but it's not like what's. Next for you.
- 31:25So I want to go to, I really want to go to Guatemala.
- 31:28OK, that's very doable. Which is very doable, very
- 31:30close. That's what it is.
- 31:31Active volcano. That's active volcano.
- 31:34So that's really what piques my interest.
- 31:36Active volcano. Like you actually see lava
- 31:38spewing out of a mountain at night.
- 31:40That only happens a certain amount of time, certain period
- 31:42of time. Right now it's actually active,
- 31:44so. Everywhere it's different.
- 31:45We were. I was in Iceland few years ago
- 31:47and I hiked 4 hours and saw an active volcano and it was
- 31:50beautiful. And I have to tell you I watched
- 31:52people who paid for a helicopter trip to go over and hover.
- 31:55I was like no, I wasn't jealous of them.
- 31:57I was like what are you doing? It's it's so different when you
- 32:01get up to get so up close and personal.
- 32:02Not just that, it's from like 1000 feet away.
- 32:05The concept of hiking and getting into it and then seeing
- 32:08the erupting volcano. But I did take a helicopter over
- 32:11grand canyons and I definitely see the appeal to and it's
- 32:14something that. Yeah, yeah, it's definitely a
- 32:16good visual, Yeah. This the view that you'd get in
- 32:19there, it's not comparable, just the hiking and and looking at
- 32:22the mountain from that vantage point.
- 32:24You know, you know, you, you've met so many people.
- 32:26You I'm sure you've thought about this before.
- 32:28Like I know you have a lot of useless, right?
- 32:30You come from a wonderful family.
- 32:32I think your great, great fan grandfather was the call RA, if
- 32:34I'm not mistaken, right? You like that one?
- 32:36We know this for a reason. So, well, the reason why I'm
- 32:39asking is, you know it, you know, besides him, if there was
- 32:42one person that you can actually sit and have lunch with and put
- 32:44on the garb and feel like you're in the culture and you know, you
- 32:47know, be a part of it, that's a great question.
- 32:49Alive, dead past, future. Who would that be and why?
- 32:52One person. Just one person you get to have
- 32:54lunch with. Shoot.
- 32:55That's it. This is a tough.
- 32:56I thought the first two questions were hard.
- 32:59Definitely there's. Too many people.
- 33:00Give us some. Doesn't have to be just one.
- 33:02Give us a couple. Well, what's running through
- 33:03your head? Yeah, Gandhi.
- 33:08Yeah, and the other thinking more like Moses type, this is
- 33:10true. And shit.
- 33:11OK, Moses. Yeah, you know, kudos to Gandhi.
- 33:13Yeah, what would you ask Moses if you said?
- 33:16Just ask him how it was. How was your trip?
- 33:19How? How was it to speak to God?
- 33:21How was it? What did?
- 33:23We all like to know, right? Just, you know, just that time,
- 33:26that era, what was the light? Not a bit more realistic,
- 33:29please. Something a little bit more down
- 33:30to earth, you know? Oh, it gets maybe Leonardo
- 33:33DiCaprio, just because he's like my favorite old actor.
- 33:35Oh, he's a good one. I liked all of his movies.
- 33:38Too. Why would you ask Leonardo
- 33:39DiCaprio? Just to chill with him, you
- 33:41know, I just want to see what he's really, really.
- 33:43Like, just want to hang out with him for the day, see if he's
- 33:45that same person that you've seen on screen.
- 33:47I'd probably pick some type of athlete 'cause I'm very shallow
- 33:49minded like that. I'd probably pick like, you
- 33:51know, Michael Jordan or something, or like, I don't
- 33:53know, Tiger Woods, you know, pick their brain for a few
- 33:55minutes. Who traveled the world?
- 33:57Who's that person that you look up to, that you say to yourself,
- 33:59you know what? Wow, that person has traveled
- 34:02cultured. Right.
- 34:03Absolutely, yeah. Yeah, in our circles.
- 34:04I don't. Know I mentioned 2 already
- 34:06earlier that are in our circles. Yeah, they travel, they document
- 34:09everything goes up every every week.
- 34:11He's the guy. Drew Binsky, He's actually the.
- 34:13He's been to every single country.
- 34:15Every every single How many have you been to at 60?
- 34:19560 a. 195 countries. Wow. 195, that's a lot of us to
- 34:23want. It includes Jay-Z, yeah.
- 34:28That's pretty. So you've been.
- 34:30To about 1/3 of the of the world we've seen.
- 34:33I guess that's fascinating. Wow.
- 34:36Definitely, definitely you've. Been to Australia?
- 34:39I've been to Australia. What's that like?
- 34:40So it's very far. It's.
- 34:42Like is it worth the trip though?
- 34:43I've always thought about it. It's nice.
- 34:46It's if you have a lot of time, it's worth it.
- 34:48But like just to go and come, it's like you leave here on the
- 34:51Sunday, you get there like Wednesday.
- 34:52Wow. Between the 24 hours to get
- 34:54there and then the it's like 16 hours straight from California,
- 34:59from New York. It's a.
- 35:01It's a. It's a nightmare fly.
- 35:03It's a very, very long play. I would.
- 35:05I want to make it like, by the way, really, I feel like it does
- 35:08their own thing in general, like Australia, do they even have a
- 35:10military Australia? Like like we're like we're,
- 35:13we're there's Australia during World War 2.
- 35:15Like what? What did they play role in all
- 35:16this? Or were they like in their own
- 35:17part in the world, minding their own business and they were
- 35:20jumping with the Kangaroos. I feel like they're doing their
- 35:22own thing out there. They were like the country
- 35:24looking around the table. Interesting.
- 35:27Interesting. So we get involved it.
- 35:28Actually started off as a as a British prison.
- 35:32That's how it started off. You kidding?
- 35:34What is that? That was the UK, it was owned by
- 35:36the UK and they said. By the Britons.
- 35:39The Brits, they owned everything at one point.
- 35:41They did. Yeah, they.
- 35:41Did all over the place. Yeah.
- 35:43The British Empire was massive, yes, right.
- 35:45They controlled so much of the world.
- 35:47Hong Kong. I mean even India.
- 35:49Have you been to Hong Kong? I've been to Hong Kong, yeah.
- 35:53In Hong Kong, that's probably really fascinating.
- 35:55It's very fast a. Lot of people have been to Hong.
- 35:56Yeah, it's it's. Probably so exactly.
- 35:58It's very heavy would. You say it's like New York City,
- 36:00like like Times Square, all over the place.
- 36:02Certain parts, the whole city, definitely certain parts,
- 36:04definitely that that rush feel and.
- 36:07I'm curious, in your travels, what is the most advanced
- 36:10country you've ever been to and what is the least advanced
- 36:13country I've been to? So the most advanced, I would
- 36:16say definitely, probably United Arab Emirates, just because it's
- 36:20technically whatever they do is the biggest and best.
- 36:22True. And I mean in Dubai, every,
- 36:25every building that they do, the Burj Khalifa is the tallest and
- 36:28how quickly. They've built it is so
- 36:29fascinating. It's definitely the most
- 36:31probably, I would say probably the one the more advanced.
- 36:34Country and you slept in that seven star hotel I did in in
- 36:38Dubai. Right, it's called the Burj
- 36:39Khalifa. The what's it called?
- 36:41The Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa And what does it
- 36:43cost the night? I'm sorry.
- 36:44The Burj Khalifa is a building. It's called the Burj Al Arab.
- 36:47OK, OK. Burj Al Arab I'm happy that we
- 36:49it was straightened that out. So.
- 36:51So how much does that cost for the night?
- 36:53I don't know but every night, but a lot of nights the cheapest
- 36:56room is like $2200. 20. Two wow, that's a lot of points.
- 37:00That's the cheapest. They take points, yeah.
- 37:02That's the cheapest room. OK.
- 37:03And like, what's the rooms like? Like what is it?
- 37:04They're crazy. They're like two floor suite.
- 37:07Every room is a two floor suite minimum.
- 37:09Yes, in the bridge, yes, and a lot of gold, a lot of blue, a
- 37:13lot of Trump would make a room. That's what it would be like.
- 37:17He has hotels. So.
- 37:18But I mean to say, it's just very, very glitzy, very not
- 37:21contemporary, not modern. Everything is very, very, very,
- 37:25a lot of very exactly. A lot of blue, a lot of gold, a
- 37:27lot of red. You've been to Oman?
- 37:29Yeah, I've been to Omar. That's a dangerous place.
- 37:32Is it? There was at one point a lot of
- 37:35civil wars over there, like there were, there were like
- 37:37gunfights. It's right next to the Yemen, so
- 37:41yeah. Yemen is not a very free.
- 37:42Place right now, it's a little bit, definitely a civil war
- 37:45going on there with the booties and stuff, but during the world,
- 37:48yeah, I was in Muscat. I was just, you know, city.
- 37:51Actually, do me a favor, give us some travel tips, how to travel
- 37:56in a savvy way. You know what?
- 37:58What are some of the things you learned over the course of your
- 38:00travels that can maybe help someone you know, travel better,
- 38:04travel lighter or travel more efficiently?
- 38:06You know, give us tips some. I'd like to start that question
- 38:09with saying if I have, you know a budget of going one place this
- 38:12year and it's a normal but. It's also a great question.
- 38:14Right. Like how do I start?
- 38:15Where? Where?
- 38:15Where's a good place to start? Yeah.
- 38:17So I, I guess every single per, it's a very personal question
- 38:22for that. It's very individualized for
- 38:24that person because every person has something else that they
- 38:27like. Before an avatar for someone
- 38:28that doesn't want to get too intense, what would be your
- 38:30recommendation? This.
- 38:31Morning do you want to have fun? Do you want to go to We're?
- 38:33Done with Miami. What's next?
- 38:35That's all. That's the question.
- 38:36Just make a place. What's what's that?
- 38:37Do you want to go somewhere you know a creative place you want
- 38:40to? Anywhere in the Caribbean's a
- 38:42lot of fun OK OK Nick is a great place here all all over the
- 38:46Caribbean OK, not much to do with the air, but just a lot of
- 38:49fun that's more from. Relaxing, right?
- 38:51So you're looking for sightseeing?
- 38:52Yeah, sightseeing and to go and, you know, do something.
- 38:55Embed yourself in a culture like, you know what I mean?
- 38:56Like that's. Yeah, I guess that's what it is,
- 38:58yeah. Well, the certain parts in
- 39:02Mexico have a lot of culture and a lot of history to it.
- 39:04I mean we've. All been to Mexico.
- 39:06Right, but even like 2 hours away from from Cancun I.
- 39:08Don't know one of these exotic far away places.
- 39:10Something like Toms River. A lot of culture there.
- 39:15Exotic, definitely. I would say going to Indonesia,
- 39:20to Bali. Oh, OK, That's something that's
- 39:23like, whoa, because people actually believe.
- 39:26I mean, there's Buddhist over there and they actually, you see
- 39:29them bringing like sacrifices to, to, to Buddha.
- 39:33They bring like fruits and things like that.
- 39:35And there's temples, let's say, even in India.
- 39:37So I'm saying in terms of culture, like something that's
- 39:39different like from 1000 years ago, people that worship the sun
- 39:42and believe in different things. That's definitely up there.
- 39:45I mean in in general Indonesia is a Muslim country but Bali is
- 39:49considered more more Buddhist. It's very attainable to go
- 39:53there. It's not such.
- 39:54Difficult in terms of, attenible in terms of money wise in terms
- 39:59of, in terms of. Anyone just go travel there?
- 40:03Yeah. I would say Thailand probably
- 40:05because maybe just in terms of cheapness, because everything's
- 40:07very affordable over there. Hotels are great and they're
- 40:10very cheap, right? It is very.
- 40:12Have like sections of Thailand that are more modern and they
- 40:14have. Like, yeah, yeah.
- 40:16Interesting. So it was made for a nice
- 40:17vacation. Definitely great vacation.
- 40:19They have gorgeous beaches as well.
- 40:20Also nice beaches. Beautiful one.
- 40:22That's a safe place to be. Very safe.
- 40:25And they have kosher food there. All over, Yeah, all over.
- 40:27Not all over. In the main cities and Paquette,
- 40:29there's kosher like restaurants and there's kebab house and
- 40:32there's like a like like a corporated restaurant.
- 40:35OK. They have like.
- 40:37Supermarkets there like more. No, not, not kosher wise.
- 40:40I mean, for anyone who's, let's say, looking at something
- 40:42different than Miami, I like getting back to your question, I
- 40:44would say Panama is a very good choice.
- 40:46OK, we're actually we. Were here, yeah.
- 40:48There. So it's it's 18 kosher
- 40:50restaurants here. Yeah, Panama's got to be one of
- 40:52the hubs of course of. Food right now, definitely.
- 40:53It's absurd. Every other day another place
- 40:55pops up. And very affordable.
- 40:57Very affordable and delicious. Amazing and the cutest monkeys.
- 41:00Good restaurants. Thank you are the cutest
- 41:02monkeys. And on the monkey jungle, the
- 41:04monkey jungle, the only issue with it, there's no if you like
- 41:06beaches, no beach in town you have to go 2 hours.
- 41:09Right, right. You got to get a little
- 41:10helicopter rides like an hour. Well, in terms of city wise and
- 41:13culture and love Pan. Wow.
- 41:15Before we let you go, first of all, that was an amazing,
- 41:17amazing journey that we took together.
- 41:20You know, I'm living vicariously through you for the past hour
- 41:23and I can't wait for more. I can't wait for more 2 hour
- 41:25discussions outside events. One of the things that we'd like
- 41:29to do here on the None of Your Business podcasts is we'd like
- 41:30to ask you to think about it for a minute and pick someone that
- 41:34you think would be a good match for us and to come onto our
- 41:37podcast to bring value and someone we can learn from.
- 41:40Is there anyone particularly that you have in mind that?
- 41:42You. Yes, we're putting you on the
- 41:43spot. And we'd like to ask you to call
- 41:45that person now. Could not.
- 41:47Speaker yes, absolutely. That's the way we do it here.
- 41:51It. Doesn't always work for us, by
- 41:53the way, but when it works, I feel like the audience has
- 41:55something to look forward. To.
- 41:57Totally. And you think they should do it
- 41:58as well? You totally throw it.
- 41:59What are you thinking of I? Think it My brother in law's
- 42:01name is Mordechai Weinberger. Mordechai Weinberger Yes, the
- 42:04therapist. Mordecai therapist that lives in
- 42:06Lakewood. Lives in Lakewood.
- 42:07He has a he has a place in Muncie called Serenity Health
- 42:13where it's for mental health. He comes like twice or three
- 42:16times a week. So he so he leads Serenity
- 42:19Health, which is one of our partner Neil Zellman's company.
- 42:22It's correct. And they yes.
- 42:24And they actually just started a version of the podcast together
- 42:28with Nachi called Pause talking about mental health and
- 42:32challenges and and really going on a journey that is going to be
- 42:36very exciting. So I'm excited for you to call
- 42:39him. You can let him know that one of
- 42:40his ex patients, Michael Greenfield, is sitting in front
- 42:44of you. I've used him a couple of times
- 42:45for therapy sessions and he is on the money.
- 42:49Well, look. At this, yeah, but he was your
- 42:51therapy. Yes, I used them two times.
- 42:53He was. Honestly, he was a little too
- 42:54similar to me in many ways, so it didn't really work, but I
- 42:58loved his energy and I loved what he has to say.
- 43:00Get him on the horn right now. Let's do it.
- 43:02Let's do this. OK.
- 43:06How are you, you know, we're, we're on the podcast and we
- 43:10asked him to pick one person who he would pick that would bring
- 43:15value to this podcast. He didn't even have to think
- 43:18about it for a second. And.
- 43:21It was you, by the way, nothing like my special.
- 43:27So part of their question is they want to know who could
- 43:30bring something to the table. So obviously I thought about
- 43:33you. Are you ready to come on our
- 43:35podcasts? You've been chosen.
- 43:38Yeah, sure, Michael. The answer to actually, I just
- 43:40don't. I honestly don't go in like
- 43:42like. Amazing.
- 43:43We'll fit you in. Thank you, love you, thank you
- 43:46very much. We appreciate you being here.
- 43:48And I look forward to all the journeys that we hear about
- 43:51together with all of us. And may we all continue to take
- 43:54journeys all the way to Jerusalem.
- 43:56Mashiach. Well, it's a nice idea, Michael.
- 43:59I'll say my We should probably do more podcasts so we can catch
- 44:02together. We don't have to do things we
- 44:05gotta. I could do Mike.
- 44:06No, no. Today, if you want, if you want
- 44:08time for machine, you wanna, you know, catch up podcast gotta be
- 44:10behind mics and cameras. Yeah, yes.
- 44:13I gotta get a different hobby that you could have me here
- 44:14again.
