- 0:00Speaker 1: So you know, we we we all. You spoke at
- 0:03Speaker 1: a school.
- 0:05Speaker 2: That we was add in the Bronx a few months ago,
- 0:07Speaker 2: and it was it was such an impressive story from
- 0:10Speaker 2: an entrepreneurial standpoint and just going to invest FST and
- 0:14Speaker 2: how that's actually altered the trajectory of your life that
- 0:17Speaker 2: we was like, man a, we want to, you know,
- 0:19Speaker 2: highlight young entrepreneurs, some people that are doing well in
- 0:22Speaker 2: the community our form of gift back, but I also
- 0:27Speaker 2: just want you to just kind of tell your story
- 0:30Speaker 2: if you can, as far as how you got to market.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Mondays.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so this is completely crazy because I envisioned this
- 0:40Speaker 3: literally the first time I went to invest Fest because
- 0:42Speaker 3: I was watching Guys before even going to invest Fest.
- 0:45Speaker 4: But first you had invests.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I want to thank Kevin Riley for, you know, sponsoring
- 0:50Speaker 3: our Atlanta Trip Council member from the Bronx. He invited
- 0:54Speaker 3: us in about like I think it was seventy other students,
- 0:58Speaker 3: three five star hotel, and I was able to actually go.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I was invited, and that first year I had nothing
- 1:06Speaker 3: to show for. I had no business. I was seventeen
- 1:08Speaker 3: years old, fresh out of high school. A class at
- 1:10Speaker 3: twenty twenty four, and I just wanted to go and
- 1:12Speaker 3: just be around the environment of entrepreneurs, high level individuals
- 1:17Speaker 3: and actually learn. So being there, I was just shaking
- 1:19Speaker 3: hands with everybody like I was. You know, I was
- 1:21Speaker 3: telling you guys earlier, I was trying to schedule calls
- 1:26Speaker 3: with people.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I was trying to get on.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Zoom calls, schedule this, try to see how could I
- 1:30Speaker 3: learn from somebody or get a mentor etc. And that
- 1:35Speaker 3: alone just led me to create connections and actually interact
- 1:40Speaker 3: with certain people. But at Investments, like I said, I
- 1:43Speaker 3: wanted to give a thanks to Shirman Brown because he
- 1:45Speaker 3: has a larger network as well. And being there, I
- 1:47Speaker 3: actually met somebody who was involved in the business I
- 1:50Speaker 3: was interested in, which I now run, jacksided Grentu's and
- 1:54Speaker 3: ever since then we just stood well connected. His name
- 1:57Speaker 3: is pj as a mentor of mine, and ever since
- 2:01Speaker 3: then it's just been on.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Since there.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Came into invest Fest the next year, this is invest
- 2:07Speaker 3: Fest twenty twenty five, and I was actually able to
- 2:09Speaker 3: pitch my business to you guys.
- 2:11Speaker 4: You know, I was able to pitch the Troy.
- 2:14Speaker 3: MG and I was actually a winner of the Youth
- 2:17Speaker 3: Scholarship pitching Jacksodic g Rent Two's showing my vision with it,
- 2:22Speaker 3: what does it actually want to do?
- 2:23Speaker 4: What's my plan? How I actually want to scale?
- 2:26Speaker 3: And ever since then, I've just been well connected with
- 2:28Speaker 3: the people around me. Like I said, I want to
- 2:30Speaker 3: give thanks to Kevin Riley, thanks to Sherman Brown and
- 2:33Speaker 3: as well as my high school principal Ms Bray from
- 2:36Speaker 3: Bronxville Preparatory Academy for bringing on Sherman Brown to lead
- 2:39Speaker 3: me to me to Kevin Riley. So it was those
- 2:41Speaker 3: all a bunch of steps and just time, time and
- 2:44Speaker 3: a way. And now we're here going into invest Fest
- 2:48Speaker 3: twenty twenty six and I'm on market Mondays with you guys.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Somehow you know it kind of mind bogles me, Like
- 2:54Speaker 3: I don't even understand it, you know.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So just to just perspective before, So, how are you nineteen?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're nineteen years old coming out the bronx
- 3:06Speaker 2: You come to invest fast, you meet a mentor. Essentially
- 3:10Speaker 2: you start an exotic car rental business and then you
- 3:15Speaker 2: get how much money did you get?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Five thousand dollars? One thousand? Okay, yeah, you got the
- 3:21Speaker 1: one thousand. Then you part like that.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But now you actually have a successful exotic car rental business,
- 3:33Speaker 2: and we actually used you because somebody, I'm sure Troy
- 3:37Speaker 2: will tell the story, but somebody needed a car. So
- 3:41Speaker 2: you pretty much share out of high school and you're
- 3:43Speaker 2: up and running and you're you're like a real entrepreneur
- 3:47Speaker 2: that's out here moving.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I want thank you so much. I appreciate it.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So yeah, it's like we're actually serving real clienteles. We're
- 3:55Speaker 3: actually providing these vehicles. So for services, daily rents, weekly
- 4:00Speaker 3: rentals on exotic cars, Lamborghini's Ferraris, Rose Races, any vehicle
- 4:07Speaker 3: you can name, we have access to and we could
- 4:09Speaker 3: put you in, whether it's a daily rental or chauffeur.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You know, you got a date night, you on vacation,
- 4:14Speaker 3: airport drop off, if you want to live that luxury lifestyle.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Sometimes people just wanted for the moment, you know, So
- 4:21Speaker 3: we're here to provide that service. And it happened like this.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Man, It's an incredible story. And again this isn't just
- 4:30Speaker 5: like some theoretical like story we're telling. This year, we
- 4:34Speaker 5: have some kids that were in our neighborhood going to
- 4:37Speaker 5: the prom. They called us day of No Joke, Day
- 4:40Speaker 5: of Hey, guys, can you help I need a car.
- 4:43Speaker 5: I was like, I know the person to call. We called,
- 4:46Speaker 5: he gets the car. This is probably how many hours?
- 4:48Speaker 5: Maybe three hours, four hours.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, probably five hours max. Four hours.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Yeah, you get the job done. This is the idea
- 4:58Speaker 5: of networking across Prom season is a big season for you.
- 5:01Speaker 5: You just came out of Prom season. First question is
- 5:05Speaker 5: most people thinking like, wait, this is an eighteen year
- 5:07Speaker 5: old kid. Nineteen year old kid, how was he able
- 5:09Speaker 5: to get these cars? So talk about the process of
- 5:11Speaker 5: having your mentors plaining to you the game and how
- 5:14Speaker 5: this was on your vision board. This wasn't something that
- 5:17Speaker 5: came out of nowhere. You were on your vision board
- 5:19Speaker 5: and saying I'm going to get there when I'm thirty.
- 5:21Speaker 5: You didn't know you'd be here seventeen oh.
- 5:24Speaker 3: So yeah, like I said, when I actually met my
- 5:26Speaker 3: mentor once again, his name's pjat Investmentest, me and him
- 5:29Speaker 3: connected and I was telling yo, look at my notes.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I literally having my notes from about maybe twenty twenty
- 5:34Speaker 3: three or twenty twenty two saying I will own an
- 5:37Speaker 3: exotic rental business or it was under it was labeled
- 5:41Speaker 3: as future businesses, and under it was exotic rentals, and
- 5:45Speaker 3: this is something I thought I would have to scale
- 5:47Speaker 3: into like later on in the future. And he was
- 5:49Speaker 3: just like, wow, there's no way, et cetera. And then
- 5:51Speaker 3: as me and him continue to talking, I was like, wait,
- 5:54Speaker 3: I think I know your your your business, and me
- 5:57Speaker 3: and him actually had a convo because what's crazy is
- 6:00Speaker 3: it's such a full circle moment. I try to book
- 6:03Speaker 3: with him for my prom. So I actually try to
- 6:06Speaker 3: get a rental vehicle for my prom. I was trying
- 6:08Speaker 3: to get a Lamborghini Hurricane, but I was seventeen years old,
- 6:12Speaker 3: so you know, I didn't meet the requirements. I had
- 6:13Speaker 3: no full coverage insurance, no twenty one plus license.
- 6:18Speaker 4: And then you know, he ain't let it have it.
- 6:20Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. He give you the Lamb,
- 6:21Speaker 3: but I was a little tight, but I had to
- 6:22Speaker 3: go on my mom's card. But that was cool for me.
- 6:25Speaker 3: But so, yeah, meeting the mentor, like I said, he
- 6:31Speaker 3: was actually able to show me the game and tell
- 6:33Speaker 3: me you don't even really need to own these vehicles.
- 6:36Speaker 3: There's people out here that have Lamborghinni rses that they
- 6:40Speaker 3: don't even drive them and they're just paying that monthly
- 6:43Speaker 3: car note and it's just sitting there to depreciating asset.
- 6:47Speaker 3: But a lot of people do say vehicles are depreciate assets,
- 6:50Speaker 3: but when it comes into the rental game, we could
- 6:52Speaker 3: actually make them appreciating assets as in dealing with the
- 6:57Speaker 3: expenses and then everything profit from there. So just to
- 7:01Speaker 3: sum it up, investors having a broad network, and you
- 7:06Speaker 3: can also you know, in the vehicles yourself as well,
- 7:09Speaker 3: But there's a lot of like you know us an investors, etc.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Where it's like there's no risk on the table source
- 7:15Speaker 3: the client, you manage the vehicle, be able to get
- 7:18Speaker 3: the job done.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Cool question for you can't for the parents who may
- 7:23Speaker 6: be watching with their kids tonight, can you talk to
- 7:25Speaker 6: us about the power of youth mapping out a vision
- 7:30Speaker 6: plan and telling parents not to limit the beliefs on
- 7:33Speaker 6: their children because you started incredibly young and most people
- 7:36Speaker 6: think you have to wait to your thirty, but talk
- 7:38Speaker 6: to the importance is about getting started early as an
- 7:40Speaker 6: entrepreneur and what advantages the youth have over people that
- 7:43Speaker 6: the older.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yes, most definitely. So I always said I always felt
- 7:47Speaker 3: like I was behind. Even now I'd be like I
- 7:49Speaker 3: wish I started when I was thirteen fourteen instead of
- 7:51Speaker 3: playing Fortnite like I wish I was. It's a crypto
- 7:53Speaker 3: I could have been on these crypto kids, you know.
- 7:55Speaker 3: But I mean it's all good's time, you know. But yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 3: you really have to do emphasize youth financial literacy in general,
- 8:04Speaker 3: because simply just plant them the seed and a young
- 8:07Speaker 3: individual could just blossom the whole entire generation. So like
- 8:11Speaker 3: my whole mojo and I get this from Sherman Brown
- 8:13Speaker 3: is I want to break generational curses and create generational wealth.
- 8:17Speaker 3: You know, because I'm from the Bronx. I was born
- 8:19Speaker 3: and raised in the projects. But the ambition and the
- 8:23Speaker 3: vision that I have for myself being that people that
- 8:26Speaker 3: had more or people that learned more or was experienced
- 8:30Speaker 3: poured into me at a young age, I'm not opened
- 8:32Speaker 3: my mind to something completely different from let's say the
- 8:35Speaker 3: average nineteen year old, Whereas I could vision my life
- 8:39Speaker 3: being completely different from let's say the average the average joe,
- 8:43Speaker 3: like you know, let's say a nine to five or corporate.
- 8:47Speaker 3: You know, I actually see life from a different, different
- 8:49Speaker 3: perspective now that I zoomed out when people were able
- 8:51Speaker 3: to pour into me from a young individual, I mean
- 8:54Speaker 3: from a young age, and that just goes to show
- 8:57Speaker 3: how much literally just a conversation, a conversation where a
- 9:00Speaker 3: person could completely change their life. And that's pretty much
- 9:03Speaker 3: all it took for me going to these events, being
- 9:06Speaker 3: partnered with Aim High and just shaking hands. Meeting all
- 9:09Speaker 3: these high level of individuals show you there's so much
- 9:12Speaker 3: more to life if you just put your head down
- 9:15Speaker 3: and work for something greater than what is normal to
- 9:18Speaker 3: everybody
