New Mexico Subpoenas Federal Agencies Including The FBI And DOJ in Epstein Ranch Inquiry (6/4/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to spin back
• 0:07
down the New Mexico and talk a little bit more
• 0:09
about the truth Commission that has been put together to
• 0:13
try and recreate what happened to New Mexico when it
• 0:17
comes to Jeffrey Epstein, and in pursuit of that, they're
• 0:21
going to be looking at everything according to them, including
• 0:24
the FBI, the DOJ, and other agencies. And I think
• 0:30
that's a good idea because these decisions didn't just happen. Right.
• 0:35
The DOJ as a monolithic institute, didn't decide to give
• 0:39
Jeffrey Epstein that sweetheart deal that was done by Mukaesy
• 0:44
and that was done by Philippe. There were the two
• 0:47
guys that were in charge at the time. It wasn't
• 0:49
a costa. And I know people want to say it's
• 0:52
a costa, but it wasn't. Middleman middle manager doesn't have
• 0:57
that kind of pull. Oh and by the way, years
• 1:00
worth of emails disappeared from Acosta and during that period
• 1:06
while they were negotiating the NPA. So yeah, there's a
• 1:10
lot of questions that need to be answered. And I
• 1:12
don't think we're going to get that at the federal level.
• 1:15
So the states that have been caught up in this,
• 1:18
the states that have been affected, I would love to
• 1:20
see all of them do the same thing. Today we
• 1:24
have an article from the Latin Times and the headline
• 1:27
FBIDJ among agencies facing scrutiny as New Mexico reopens questions
• 1:32
around Epstein Ranch. This article was authored by Pedro Camacho.
• 1:39
A bipartisan New Mexico commission investigating Jeffrey Epstein's or O
• 1:43
Ranch announced Monday that it will issue subpoenas to multiple
• 1:47
federal and state agencies, including the FBI and the Department
• 1:51
of Justice, as lawmakers revisit long standing questions surrounding alleged
• 1:56
criminal activity at the property and the institutions failed to
• 2:00
stop it. And I just hope that it's not performative.
• 2:03
I hope that they really plan on pursuing any leads
• 2:06
they get, and I hope that they have the ability
• 2:09
and the wherewithal to follow those leads wherever they go.
• 2:14
And if somebody committed a crime, they should be held accountable.
• 2:18
And New Mexico has a chance here to really set
• 2:20
a standard right. If other states see it, they might
• 2:24
want to get involved New York, especially if anyone needs
• 2:29
some kind of truth commission about what Epstein was up to.
• 2:32
It's New York. That man was so protected in New
• 2:34
York that it's almost hard to wrap your mind around it.
• 2:39
Why would the prosecutors themselves in New York try and
• 2:43
argue that Jeffrey Epstein was not as dangerous of an
• 2:47
offender as he was. What would motivate them to do that? Oh,
• 2:51
that's right, Jeffrey Epstein's money, Jeffrey Epstein's friends, Jeffrey Epstein's pull.
• 3:00
The New Mexico Truth Commission approved subpoenas for fourteen entities
• 3:04
tied to either the previous investigation into Epstein or at
• 3:08
operations linked to the ranch near Santa Fe. Those include
• 3:12
the FBI, the US Department of Justice, the US Attorney's
• 3:15
Office for the Southern District of New York, the New
• 3:18
Mexico Department of Justice, JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, and
• 3:22
the Santa Fe Institute. That one is interesting because I've
• 3:26
told you before they threw me directly off that campus.
• 3:30
When I showed up at the Santa Fe Institute asking questions,
• 3:34
they had no desire to answer any of them. The
• 3:36
campus itself, though, is beautiful, there's no denying that. Look,
• 3:40
the whole area is great. If I had the money,
• 3:44
i'd buy a ranch down there. I mean, it's absolutely
• 3:47
beautiful place. When I was driving from Albuquerque down to
• 3:50
Santa Fe, I couldn't believe how many great properties I passed.
• 3:55
I mean, absolutely fantastic looking properties. And then you get
• 3:58
down to Stanley where Epstein's ranches. It's nothing but opulence,
• 4:02
at least right around Epstein, but the whole surrounding area
• 4:08
leading up to that absolutely beautiful and under normal circumstances,
• 4:13
if you're a normal human being, I could totally see
• 4:16
why somebody with a bunch of dough would want to
• 4:18
build a ranch where he built it. I mean, it's
• 4:22
a great location. And I'm talking about from an outdoors perspective,
• 4:27
right as somebody who climbs mountains, somebody that likes to
• 4:30
go backcountry hiking. That would be a dream come true
• 4:34
to have a place like that. Lawmakers said that the
• 4:36
commission aims to establish a complete, documented public record of
• 4:40
alleged sex trafficking, abuse, and institutional failures connected to Epstein's
• 4:45
activities in New Mexico. And I really hope they can
• 4:48
do it, and I think that if they follow along
• 4:51
with what people are telling them local people, they'll have
• 4:54
a blueprint. I was blown away by what I heard
• 4:57
from locals when I visited, and how the authorities just
• 5:02
had no desire to see what was going on. When
• 5:04
you have regular people, you know, front desk operators at hotels,
• 5:08
who know that there's something wrong, you know that the
• 5:11
authorities know that and they chose not to act. And
• 5:15
hopefully that's what this commission is going to dig into.
• 5:17
There needs to be accountability for the people that allowed
• 5:20
this to occur. So you can say until you're blue
• 5:24
in the face that Epstein's dead and that there's no
• 5:27
proof to put anyone in prison when it comes to
• 5:29
human trafficking, But there's a lot more going on here,
• 5:34
and there's verifiable, obvious evidence that criminality was occurring. And
• 5:39
I think that's one of my biggest frustrations, that it's
• 5:42
obvious that other crimes were occurring and they just ignore it.
• 5:46
They just act like it doesn't matter, when in fact,
• 5:48
it does matter. We're talking about immigration fraud on the
• 5:53
grand scale, So who is the point man or woman
• 5:56
inside the immigration office? Patted Jeffrey Epstein so much pull
• 6:01
or was it whoever his handler was in the government,
• 6:04
or whoever his contact was, because I don't think Epstein
• 6:06
had a handler, maybe at first, but not as things progressed.
• 6:12
He was way too valuable and he had way too
• 6:14
much going on to have someone he asked to check
• 6:17
in with. We will name who was responsible, and we
• 6:20
will do with the evidentiary rigor that survivors deserve. State
• 6:24
Representative Andrea Reeb, a Republican and former prosecutor, said Monday
• 6:29
during the hearing. As reported by The Hill, the hearing
• 6:32
also featured testimony from alleged victims and relatives of survivors,
• 6:37
including Rachel Benavidez, a New Mexico woman who said Epstein
• 6:41
sexually abused her after she was hired as a massage
• 6:44
therapist at the ranch. We have how many women who
• 6:47
have come forward and said that they were abused at
• 6:50
the ranch, five six confirmed. I mean, it's incredible, and
• 6:56
you know there's more. There's always more a lot of
• 7:00
women who probably don't know what's going on, people from Europe,
• 7:03
people from Peru, people from god knows where, and these
• 7:06
disgusting sons of bitches were bringing them in by the
• 7:09
bus load. So my guess is we've just seen the
• 7:12
very tip of the iceberg, right the very beginning. And
• 7:16
when that damn breaks, that damn breaks, And my guess
• 7:19
is that we're going to see a lot of allegations
• 7:22
be made in the coming months about New Mexico. In
• 7:28
twenty nineteen, when Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, I spoke out
• 7:31
about the sexual abuse and crimes he committed against me,
• 7:34
Benavidez told lawmakers, as Albuquerque Journal reports, I'm here again
• 7:39
today In twenty twenty six as a fifty two year
• 7:42
old woman speaking out and trying to find truth in
• 7:46
justice and still no answers. Sky Roberts, brother of the
• 7:50
late Virginia Roberts, urged New Mexico officials to pursue accountability,
• 7:55
saying the state faced a choice between protecting power over
• 7:58
people or leading efforts toward justice for survivors. And he's right.
• 8:04
This could be a benchmark type of deal if it's
• 8:07
conducted correctly, if everybody does the right thing, then yeah,
• 8:12
we're onto something here and we might get to the
• 8:15
bottom of at least a few of these different mysteries
• 8:18
and provide these survivors with some of the answers that
• 8:20
they've been looking for. The subpoena has come months after
• 8:25
New Mexico lawmakers unanimously approved legislation creating the Commission to
• 8:29
Investigate Alleged Criminal Activity Adzoro Ranch, where Epstein was accused
• 8:34
in multiple civil lawsuits of sexually abusing girls but was
• 8:37
never criminally charged. Well, I wonder why to criminally charge somebody,
• 8:43
Usually you have to investigate them, and we all know
• 8:47
that didn't happen. There was no real investigation of Jeffrey Epstein,
• 8:51
and anybody who says that that's not true is not
• 8:54
somebody that should be taken seriously. Additional FBI records released
• 8:59
earlier this year showed agents and Albuquerque investigated claims that
• 9:03
a century's old church death bell stolen in the thirties
• 9:06
may have been stored at the ranch. The inquiry was
• 9:10
eventually closed without a search warrant being issued. New Mexico
• 9:13
Attorney General Rabul Torres reopened the state's investigation into the
• 9:18
ranch earlier this year and has encouraged victims and witnesses
• 9:22
to come forward and look. I really hope that they do.
• 9:26
But how many of the girls are from places where
• 9:29
this story might not even be reaching them. And I
• 9:33
know that sounds crazy in the year twenty twenty six,
• 9:36
but we know for a fact that Jeffrey Epstein, Jean
• 9:39
Luke Brunel, and Glenn Maxwell went to vulnerable areas in
• 9:44
places like Brazil, Peru and elsewhere to find girls. What
• 9:50
do you think they all have Cox cable down there?
• 9:54
They got themselves some fiber optic Internet in the cities, yeah,
• 9:59
but not in these little villages, not in these little
• 10:02
poor areas where Jeffrey Epstein and Glene Maxwell would go
• 10:06
and hunt. And what about places over in Eastern Europe
• 10:10
and god knows where else, Like I was saying earlier,
• 10:12
So I think that we're going to see people come forward,
• 10:14
But how many and from where? I think that's the question.
• 10:18
And as we move forward, that question is going to
• 10:21
be answered. And until we get those answers, me and
• 10:25
my big mouth, well we'll be right here. All the
• 10:29
information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 10:32
