- 0:56When it was in my mother's womb, I had a calling on my life to do
- 1:01something in the glory of God and marry it like a wife, commit
- 1:06myself to His Word and never be LED astray.
- 1:09And when it's all over, when He comes, I'll be glad to see that
- 1:13day in the morning time. Hey, Mister man, how you doing?
- 1:40I'm good, man. Hey, did you see the game last
- 1:42night? But did you see the shot?
- 1:44I lost money from that. Oh, man, That shot was old man.
- 1:47But it was good. Yeah.
- 1:52What's the name? You really want to know.
- 1:58I do. Exhaustion, muscle spasm,
- 2:05Asthmatic issues, unexpected sickle cell trait Titans.
- 2:09Damn, are you serious? When I was young I found out I
- 2:12had sickle cell trait. My mom's told me.
- 2:15But I didn't have no knowledge of it.
- 2:16But when I got older, I had a child and the doctor told me my
- 2:19daughter had sickle cell trait. You know the.
- 2:21Fact that both parents have sickle cell trait, there's a 50%
- 2:24chance the child may have the trait and 25% chance the child
- 2:27may have the disease and that's what's the count.
- 2:30Do you know that 2.5 million people in the United States have
- 2:32sickle cell trait? 300 million people globally.
- 2:35I didn't find out I had sickle cell trait until I was in the
- 2:37Army 10 years. Next thing you know I had a
- 2:39sickle cell trait exertion site. April cell.
- 2:42I thought that was a. Black gene or something?
- 2:44Nah man, the black community is number 21 out of 36,000 babies
- 2:48are being born with sickle cell disease.
- 2:50You could be Caucasian, Mediterranean, European.
- 2:52You gotta wear your bloodline man.
- 2:57There is an inherited gene in our community that has been
- 2:59forgotten. The name is Sickle cell trait.

- 4:46According to the Cleveland Clinic, kidney injury occurs in
- 4:50up to half of rhabdo cases. My kidneys are at 50% each.
- 4:54It's a complication former Sergeant First class for on
- 4:57Dozier experienced first hand while serving in the Army in
- 5:012006. Everything was spent like
- 5:041,000,000 miles an hour. It happened during an Army
- 5:06physical fitness test right after the final Sprint of the
- 5:10two mile run for Ron was rushed to the hospital.
- 5:14Physically, I was in. I was in a very bad state.
- 5:17I had severe muscle damage. I could barely walk.
- 5:20But the mindset of a soldier, you don't complain.
- 5:22He survived the ordeal and tried to get back to his old self.
- 5:26That says ongoing health problems ultimately led to his
- 5:29medical retirement in 2013. I had a lot of mental and
- 5:33physical pain at that time. And the pain is still with him
- 5:36today. I'd never recovered fully.
- 5:39I still deal with the Vertigo. If I move too fast or I move my
- 5:41head too fast, I could still trigger it.
- 5:43Faron has since dedicated. His life to spreading education
- 5:47and awareness about Raabdo. Anybody heard of Raabdo before?
- 5:51Engaging military personnel, athletes, and youth nationwide.
- 5:55You can experience it, or you might be the person that saves
- 5:58that person's life. Given the intense mental and
- 6:01physical requirements, Ferran says it's a conversation that's
- 6:05especially important in the military.
- 6:07There's a lot of push ups, there's a lot of mountain
- 6:09crawls. It's the repetitive drills.
- 6:12Soldiers and military personnel. Are.
- 6:15Our number one human asset and still figuring out ways to
- 6:18protect that. Hey, did you see the game last
- 6:45night? But did you see the shot?
- 6:48I lost money from that. Oh, man, that shot was old man.
- 6:51But it was good, Yeah. What's the name?
- 7:00You really want to know. I do.

- 7:13Are you serious? When I was young, I found out I
- 7:16had. Sickle.
- 7:16Cell trait. My mom's told me.
- 7:18But I didn't have no knowledge of it.

- 8:34Me, I have one normal and I have 1S.
- 8:39And so that morning out here, this is the one that mutated.
- 8:41It went from rigid soft to no oxygen.
- 8:47And that's what it looks like when there's no more oxygen
- 8:50inside that red blood cell. So a person with sickle cell
- 8:53disease, imagine that any time of their life or their day, 50,
- 8:58sixty, 70% of those red blood cells are mutating like that.
- 9:02And that's why they live in pain.
- 9:05And then there's nerve pain that gets damaged and then there's
- 9:08crisis pain. So they live in chronic pain
- 9:10because of the nerves get damaged in all parts of the
- 9:13body. Plus they can have a crisis
- 9:15where this happens to their red blood cells.
- 9:20I have pain in my left arm. My mom said I was 2.
- 9:25I remember 5 that I would wake up in pain crying my grandmother
- 9:30would hold me over the sink one warm marble warm water over my
- 9:34arm. Only thing that was soothe the
- 9:35pain 1975 took me to the doctor is growing pains.
- 9:40He's five OK, makes sense. Well I'm 53 and this pain is
- 9:45still I just had one last night in the in the room over there
- 9:48aching and it's not like asleep. It's like a bone type of aching
- 9:53pain that I wish I was a black Ken doll or I just take it off
- 9:57and put All right, welcome to the Fond Dorsey show, the
- 10:01military broadcast radio network, MB Radio dot USI want
- 10:04to thank you for tuning, listening in today.
- 10:06As always, we have a very important show for you here.
- 10:10I dropped all of that sickle cell trade awareness information
- 10:13on you because this is the last day of sickle cell awareness
- 10:17month for September. So I just want to make sure that
- 10:19we were able to share all that information.
- 10:22If you have any questions about sickle cell trade, make sure you
- 10:26hit me up WDCON, set.org. We will be able to answer a
- 10:32great portion of your conversations, your questions.
- 10:34I have the trade doctor. If you didn't see that episode a
- 10:37few weeks ago, you want to go back and watch that episode.
- 10:40I had the whole, almost a whole crew.
- 10:42We're missing a few pieces of the puzzle, but we were here
- 10:45discussing the aspects of sickle cell trade.
- 10:48I had Doctor Aisha, Miss Richie, I had Doctor Dansby.
- 10:55Who else did I have myself? Lupita.
- 10:59So we, we had a whole crew here sharing, you know what we are
- 11:03offering what we can provide as advocates, as organizations, as
- 11:07we come together to bring awareness to sickle cell trade.
- 11:11As I shared, sickle cell trade for me has its own separate
- 11:15awareness, education and prevention conversation because
- 11:19it, it's different, it's not the disease, it will never turn into
- 11:22the disease. However, there are risk factors
- 11:25and complications associated to sickle cell trait that many
- 11:28people are not aware of that didn't even know of.
- 11:31My family didn't, my parents didn't.
- 11:34And so we, we're still experiencing having people
- 11:38collapse and unfortunately some sudden deaths and a lot of those
- 11:42are connected to sickle cell trait and they're trying to
- 11:45figure out why with Doctor O'Connor's.
- 11:47And then with the military doctors, they are doing
- 11:49everything they can figure out what is causing this trigger,
- 11:54especially with the military soldiers like myself who have
- 11:57experienced some type of sickle cell trade exertion in
- 12:00conjunction or in connection with the rhabdomyosis, right.
- 12:03So real life conversation, real life talk.
- 12:07If you have any questions, again, WDCON, sct.org, if you
- 12:11want your free consultation with Doctor Maisha, you can go to the
- 12:17website down there, trade tribetalks.com/consult and they
- 12:21will give you a free 15 minute consultation.
- 12:24And if you choose to have them support you in your medical
- 12:30process, if you need, you need someone to talk to your doctor,
- 12:32that your doctor's not listening to you, you need some support in
- 12:35that area or you want her to become your physician.
- 12:38You guys can talk that through and I'm the one of the health
- 12:41coaches, so you'll probably end up talking to me at some point
- 12:43just to make sure that you are, you know, everything is moving
- 12:46forward and if you have any questions from the advocate
- 12:48perspective, right, Very, very, very, very important
- 12:52conversation around sickle cell trade.
- 12:54So we got a full show for you today.
- 12:58All right, Ariana's back to discuss some more on our
- 13:02spiritual aspects of this conversation.
- 13:04I call it what's the next level. That was one of my, I want to
- 13:08say my spiritual conversations back, but I had my blog talk
- 13:11show. We called it the next level.
- 13:13And that's where we or I was talking and speaking from the
- 13:18scriptures. I had a pastor that will come on
- 13:19and talk from the scripture perspective.
- 13:21And then I will talk about that human being aspect and tie
- 13:24together right. Because the spirit, the soul,
- 13:28the mind, the body, they all work together.
- 13:30They, they have different functions.
- 13:31And if you understand the battle, the spiritual battle,
- 13:36it's not against you and me, it's against principalities.
- 13:39And so we we make sure that we share those conversations as
- 13:42effectively as possible. All right, so let's see.
- 13:45Where are my guests? Let me bring up Ariel.
- 13:48He's here. What's up, my guy?
- 13:51What's up, bro? Hey.
- 13:53What's going on? How you doing?
- 13:55Oh man, what's happening today? I'm a man, man.
- 13:59It's a whole lot going on. Am I seen clearly on your end?
- 14:04Yeah. No, you're doing OK.
- 14:06No, you're a little, you're a little fuzzy.
- 14:09Then that means. Fuzzy fantabulous.
- 14:16Yeah. So let me give you a second to
- 14:18get that sorted out. All right, so here we go.
- 14:25Yeah. So, Lynn, if you are ready, let
- 14:28me see when you get. Let me know when you get back on
- 14:30the screen. I'm going to again, just address
- 14:32some more sickle cell trade topics.
- 14:35You can go to the website WDC on sct.org.
- 14:39There's just a lot going on. Shouts out to Ryan Clark.
- 14:41Ryan Clark is sharing his story. And you know, the way that the
- 14:46media writes these articles, you just got to be able to pay
- 14:51attention at the way the media writes these topics and these
- 14:53conversations that sometimes we just don't have the information
- 14:57correctly, right? And then they say, oh, he's
- 15:00talking about his sickle cell. We understand, we understand, we
- 15:05understand sickle cell trade is not being compared to sickle
- 15:09cell, right? Two different conversations.
- 15:14But I was tagged in a message that was brought up about that.
- 15:19And so yes, you know, it just there's so many different
- 15:22opinions, there's so many different opinions, opinions,
- 15:25opinions about the conversation and even in our own community is
- 15:28so many different opinions. It's not a problem.
- 15:32It's not even an issue. It's just the fact that we have
- 15:36to understand that the media, they may not understand sickle
- 15:39cell. And so how they write those
- 15:41titles and those articles, they reference sickle cell.
- 15:45But it's OK because could it be that sickle cell is the
- 15:48overarching conversation of it? And if it's the overarching
- 15:51conversation, we're talking about sickle cell, then inside
- 15:54of sickle cell, there's sickle cell trait, the sickle cell s s,
- 15:57the sickle SC disease to sickle beta thalassemia, the sickle
- 16:01cell SD, right? So is it OK that if they title
- 16:06it sickle cell, do we have to get into a debate whether a
- 16:09person with sickle cell should be in the sickle cell trait,
- 16:13should be in the conversation about sickle cell?
- 16:15Does it really matter? Like it's all, it's our
- 16:18community, right? So, so many opinions about that.
- 16:22That's it. It's cool.
- 16:23It's cool how however you were taught, however you language it,
- 16:27just know that oh, those of us in the community, we understand.
- 16:31And if we want to educate, those are opportunities to educate
- 16:34those media outlets. Those are the times that you can
- 16:37educate your doctor. I hate people that say, oh, that
- 16:40doctor asked me about how long I had sickle cell.
- 16:42I'm like, well, that's your opportunity to educate them.
- 16:47It's the opportunity to be an advocate and say, hey, you know
- 16:49what? This is how this works, we're
- 16:51born with it. But to get frustrated, they get
- 16:53upset. I mean, I don't know what is
- 16:55that? If you're an advocate, we have
- 16:59lots of opportunities to drop that knowledge, to drop that
- 17:01information for those that just aren't aware or in the medical
- 17:05field, they only get like a couple of paragraphs, 20 minutes
- 17:08maybe whatever that is about sickle cell.
- 17:10So I mean, we can't take for granted that everybody knows
- 17:13about sickle cell like we do, but we can definitely interrupt
- 17:17the upsets and the frustrations around it.
- 17:20That's all I'm saying. All right.
- 17:22So yes, we understand sickle cell can be the overarching
- 17:27conversation. And then there's some specifics.
- 17:29There's some specifics that we have to get to when we start
- 17:32talking about these different conversations around sickle cell
- 17:35trade sickle cell in the different types of sickle cell
- 17:39disease, different types. All right, more information WDCO
- 17:44on sct.org. Let me see if my guys ready
- 17:50what's happening. OK, I have so am I fuzzy now?
- 17:56You're not fuzzy, but that your background is lit is kind of
- 17:59bright. So, you know, we're on, we're on
- 18:02TV, we're on Roku TV. So people watching on TV, it's.
- 18:05Going to be there we go bright. Yeah.
- 18:08Gosh, it's a little bit fuzzy. OK.
- 18:09A little bit fuzzy, a little bit fuzzy.
- 18:13And see, I got AT&T and AT&T in this area because I'm in a
- 18:16commercial area. They got 2 towers and they keep
- 18:18pinging off each other, which kind of like drains the Wi-Fi.
- 18:23So the best that I can do is this, because if I turn off and
- 18:27try to go my mobile data, we're going to get cut completely out.
- 18:30I had to get a new phone. So that's what happened.
- 18:34However, I'm doing OK. You know, I took a lot of time,
- 18:38got some ventures, obviously. I see you enjoyed our Bible
- 18:41study last night. Oh, can we can.
- 18:43We go there. Can we go there a little bit?
- 18:45I was, I had just, I just got out of my show at 7:00 last
- 18:49night and I was with the family, tracing her family that was on
- 18:53my show. We were in the parking lot
- 18:55talking to her. I interviewed her husband and
- 18:56her two children, her son and daughter.
- 18:59And. I got in the car.
- 19:02I, I turned on, you know, I looked at my text and I'm like,
- 19:04oh, Bible study. I looked at them like, let me,
- 19:05let me, let me zoom in there. Click it in here, man.
- 19:09Soon as I got on there, I was like, oh, my goodness, like it
- 19:13was, it was, it was like confirmation on some of the
- 19:18things that I have been studying, right?
- 19:20And then to hear like the honor, right?
- 19:24Just to hear the conversations. I was like, and I'm like, OK,
- 19:28God, I got it. Like I'm on the right track.
- 19:30OK, you got you got me. I'm on the you let me know that
- 19:33my conversation that you've given me is I'm not far off.
- 19:37I'm not, it's not wild. And that I'm right on, I'm right
- 19:40on point, man. So I was, I was, I was in a text
- 19:43message sending my messages and I was like, oh, then it was just
- 19:46like, oh, but this is for the students.
- 19:47I was like, oh, my bad. I'm a guest.
- 19:51It was cool. No, actually when it comes, when
- 19:54it comes to us, it's anybody who we want participation.
- 19:58So it's not a formal religious Bible study.
- 20:01It's a Bible study where we are family, we come together, we
- 20:05want our guests to talk. We want our guests perspective.
- 20:07We want them to get involved. So the fact that you was
- 20:10chatting and you was throwing bullets and Nuggets in the
- 20:13thread, that's what we want. We want that.
- 20:15That means you got somebody who knows you know much is the word,
- 20:19but at the same time you're willing to learn and then we can
- 20:21learn from that and then we can open up.
- 20:23And that's the thing about. My church that I love about the
- 20:25most is because it's not the oh, the pastor only speaks.
- 20:31No, there is order where we have to stay silent so that the
- 20:34message can go forth. But it's always wonderful to
- 20:37have somebody chatting to shoot it in the thread.
- 20:40Sometimes I throw jokes over there.
- 20:41Like one time they were talking about something about what was
- 20:44it? There's something in red.
- 20:46And I was like, yeah, well, presidents and politicians wear
- 20:48red ties, too. You know, I was talking jokes.
- 20:52But it's just, you know, to keep the feel of it.
- 20:55It's not to be intentionally rude or disrespectful, but I
- 20:57just added a little joy in there.
- 20:59So, yeah. So welcome to the Fairness
- 21:01Center of Love Common Sense Bible Study.
- 21:03So feel free to jump on with us at every Tuesday night at 7:00
- 21:07PM. So you can definitely do that.
- 21:11Yeah, no, I appreciate that, man.
- 21:13Like I said, it was right on time for me.
- 21:14And I was like, OK, yeah, we good, we, we definitely I'm,
- 21:17I'm. And because I've been looking
- 21:19at, I don't want, I don't want to drop it right now, but I've
- 21:21just been looking at, at, at love, like from the, from the,
- 21:24from the soul perspective, right, from the, from the mind
- 21:28and emotions. I was looking at love.
- 21:30And I'm like, you know, the, the, the soul is, it's hard for
- 21:34the soul to understand. It wants to understand love.
- 21:37It wants to understand humility, right?
- 21:40With, with all the, with all the, with all the emotional
- 21:43stuff that's in there, it's like it's hard, it's challenging for
- 21:46us to really experience love, right?
- 21:50And I'm thinking like, go ahead. So I.
- 21:55Was like. I was, I was like, so I was
- 21:58like, so God, I was like, Holy Spirit, like what, what is it,
- 22:01what, what? And I and I took it a layer back
- 22:04from, from love and humility. And what I saw was honor.
- 22:09And I'm like, honor, honor your father and mother that come in
- 22:14with the promise. It's, it's not that I like or
- 22:17love my father and mother. It's how I think about them, how
- 22:20I esteem them, right. So if if I take that same honor
- 22:25and, and if it's father and mother, but I apply it to to
- 22:29people, then ultimately how I think about you is going to be
- 22:34just as important as how much I say that I love you or you have
- 22:37humility for you. It's going to get in the way if
- 22:39I don't honor you of how I think about you.
- 22:42So if I think about you from a upset or frustrated or anger or
- 22:46whatever, that thought process isn't mixed in my mind.
- 22:51How can I truly have experienced love for you or even experience
- 22:54humility? It's going to come and go
- 22:56because of how I. Think I got the answer to that.
- 22:59Yeah, you got 1. So that, so that's what I've
- 23:00been looking at. And I was like, you know what
- 23:03honor we got to look at honor first because how I think about
- 23:07you and how I think about myself, how much I measure
- 23:09myself first. I don't think well about Farrah.
- 23:13So my own thoughts about myself are corrupted and and and messed
- 23:18up. So if if I have those thoughts
- 23:19about myself, I can only imagine how my thoughts about you could
- 23:23be. If I put that and I measure
- 23:25myself up against that with you, then it's like, OK then.
- 23:27But see. Sometimes we need to have the
- 23:31outside see, sometimes we need to have that outside
- 23:33confirmation. That's what affirmation is for.
- 23:36The thing about that people don't realize is that, well, the
- 23:39answer to your question about the honor, it's actually what
- 23:43I've been saying and what Jesus has confirmed in Matthew 4246 to
- 23:4650 that is blood is sticking in water.
- 23:51Of course. Yeah, you was created through
- 23:53your bloodline to be here and God used that and put a spirit
- 23:57in you. So you could be here to be
- 23:59Ferrand dossier. But here's the thing that really
- 24:03hits the nail in the coffin. Spirit is sticking in blood.
- 24:06See you was underneath your parents for a while as a child
- 24:09because that's all you knew to honor, that's all you knew to go
- 24:11to that's all you knew to pick up.
- 24:13That's all you knew to learn from.
- 24:15And then when you got into your first day in kindergarten, that
- 24:17kind of changed because your best friend had a red lunch box.
- 24:20You had a blue lunch box, but you wanted the red lunch box.
- 24:23And then y'all got to talking and then these things are
- 24:26coming. And then once again the mind
- 24:29came because you know, we come back in the house and then you
- 24:31know, the parents were like, and you somebody said something
- 24:34weird, but like where did he get that from?
- 24:35Well, he must you got it from school.
- 24:37We had around his friends and then we pick up exactly.
- 24:41So as you're going through your circle gets bigger and bigger.
- 24:44Your life gets old. As you get older, your mind
- 24:47starts receptive more because of your senses start enhancing.
- 24:51So now you have more of different perspectives coming at
- 24:54you. So by the time you hit college,
- 24:56man, you got my classroom full of friends that you don't know.
- 24:59You got athletes, you got fraternities, you got all these
- 25:03things that, that manipulate your mindset or have different
- 25:06perspective. But the one perspective that
- 25:08everyone it, it, it helps to understand is the work.
- 25:13God's perspective is the most important.
- 25:16And that's where blood is sticking in water.
- 25:19But spirit is sticking in blood. Because see, when you know
- 25:21Jesus, Jesus never changed and he's the one friend that is
- 25:24consistent no matter what friend you got, right?
- 25:27You see what I'm saying? No matter who you met, no matter
- 25:29who your parents are, it does say honor thy mother and thy
- 25:32father for your day shall be prolonged.
- 25:34But that honor can't be misplaced neither, because he
- 25:38also said later on, he said if you love your mother and father
- 25:41more than you love me, then you're not worthy of me.
- 25:49But The thing is, is that it's a balance of understanding.
- 25:54That's the reason why we're getting into Genesis chapter 2,
- 25:57because at the very end it says that.
- 25:59And so God allowed that you shall leave your mother, flee
- 26:03your mother and father, and shall clean to your husband or
- 26:06wife. Well, let's take that aside
- 26:09because that's talking about a marriage relationship.
- 26:11And they think that's the only relationship that you flee for
- 26:13your mother and father for. That's not necessarily true.
- 26:16Will you become an adult at the age of 18 or 19 and 20 and 21
- 26:21and you're in college? You already fled from your
- 26:23mother and father and you developed whatever relationship
- 26:25you allow in your circle. So you became your own man or
- 26:28your own woman, See, And that's the part that people don't
- 26:32realize. Yeah, we're going to get into
- 26:34that. We're going to get into that,
- 26:35man. Thank you for hanging out today.
- 26:37Let me bring up my my neck, my nest and get her on the deck,
- 26:40man. But I appreciate you.

- 29:50How you doing over there? I'm good.
- 29:52Is that better? Hello.
- 29:54It's a little better. It's better.
- 29:56OK sorry about that, I could have sworn I bought my other
- 29:58headphones but. I won't have you on too long.
- 30:02We'll, we'll, we'll do a Part 2. Do me a favor, introduce
- 30:05yourself to the listeners and the people watching.
- 30:08So my name is Lynn Lion Mickey. I well, it's mod Lynn Lion
- 30:12Mickey, but I go by Lynn. I'm an educator, advocate slash
- 30:18mentor slash graphic designer slash slash slash slash.
- 30:26But I have sickle cell anemia S S.
- 30:30You know, we, we're not strangers.
- 30:32We've been, I mean, I don't know how far we go back.
- 30:35I forgot almost, almost since I've been in the game.
- 30:39I'm this talk, this talk show game, at least 2013, maybe I
- 30:44want to say 1314 somewhere around there, if that, if not
- 30:47before. You know, I've, I've had this
- 30:50conversation around quality of life versus a cure.
- 30:53And there's so much going on today with sickle cell.
- 30:57There's medications, you know, drugs for, for our community,
- 31:02stem cells, the bone marrow transplants.
- 31:04When you hear quality of life versus a cure, what what comes
- 31:07to mind for you? It's interesting for me because
- 31:12so much have happened with my sickle cell as far as
- 31:15complications go. When I hear about the cure, I'm
- 31:19still kind of like on the cusp with it because it cost so much,
- 31:25insurance does not cover it. So unless you're sitting on
- 31:283,000,000 plus dollars, it's not an option for the average
- 31:33person. So a lot of the companies that
- 31:36I've been speaking to were just saying that they're in
- 31:39negotiations because so many people need it, but it's just
- 31:42not accessible at the moment. So they're in negotiations
- 31:45trying to work with other hospitals to try to get
- 31:49insurance to at least cover some portion of it and then go from
- 31:54there. Because the issue that I'm
- 31:57running into personally is, you know, with sickle cell, when you
- 32:01get, when you go into prices, you don't have to be blood, have
- 32:05a blood transfusion and so many blood transfusions, you run into
- 32:08iron overload or iron chelation. So then you're kind of like it's
- 32:14like filling up a cup and the cup is already spilling over.
- 32:18You're full of iron, you're trying to get iron out, you're
- 32:20taking the medicine, but you get the blood transfusion.
- 32:23So it's a vicious cycle. It's like you're not helping and
- 32:29but you're trying to help but not help it.
- 32:31Yeah. So then so that I appreciate
- 32:34your your perspective on on the cure part.
- 32:36So what does, what does quality of life look for you look like
- 32:39for you? What does that look like?
- 32:41For me it's just been maintenance as far as making
- 32:45sure that I am going to, you know, get my monthly
- 32:49transfusions if it's possible. I also get monthly infusions of
- 32:54another medication that is for it's supposed to prolong the
- 32:59amount of prices that you have. So I get that once a month and
- 33:04then just maintenance, making sure that I'm drinking lots of
- 33:07water, exercising, getting enough rest, eating as best as I
- 33:12possibly can. And as you know, when you get
- 33:15older, things change. When I was younger, I could I
- 33:19could do the world and not think twice about it.
- 33:23But now that I'm, you know, 40 plus things, life is different.
- 33:29I I can't do the same things that I used to do before and I
- 33:32have to be more mindful of that. And and that, and that's that,
- 33:37that part of that I can't do what I used to do for me was,
- 33:40was it was almost life threatening because what do you
- 33:44mean I can't play basketball no more?
- 33:45What do you mean I can't do this no more?
- 33:46What do you mean I can't do this?
- 33:47Sounds like I used to. So how do you deal with that
- 33:49mentally? Because now there's a there's a
- 33:50whole mental aspect of sickle Cell that you got to deal with.
- 33:54You have to manage our language, that's all.
- 33:57What does that part look like for you?
- 34:00It's, it's challenging. I will say that 'cause I, I like
- 34:04I said, I haven't spoken to you until in a while, but I was
- 34:08teaching for about 6 years and just not paying attention to my
- 34:15own personal health. By year 78, unfortunately, my
- 34:22mom passed of breast cancer and then the following year I got
- 34:27diagnosed with colon cancer. So as a result of just running
- 34:32my body rugged and thinking that I am superwoman and I could do
- 34:36everything, I wasn't paying attention to what was actually
- 34:40going on internally with me and the it's growing pains.
- 34:45You know, I got older and my whole body shifted.
- 34:50My whole sickle cell treatment changed, my whole sickle cell
- 34:54outlook changed. Everything that I was doing
- 34:56before was no longer working. I was in the hospital
- 34:59back-to-back to back like every other month.
- 35:02And then there was a small, small gap.
- 35:05Once I got into a routine where I was able to not be in the
- 35:10hospital so frequently. But it was, it was rough.
- 35:16It was rough. Let's, let's, let's, let's,
- 35:20let's dance with the grief because I mean, my dad
- 35:24transitioned in 2019. So, you know, I, I look back as
- 35:28an advocate, even interviewing people who have lost parents and
- 35:31lost, you know, I, I lost my grandma, you know, and you know,
- 35:34I lost, you know, friends in, in the military from suicide and,
- 35:37you know, just those. But when it's father, mother,
- 35:41it's a totally different dynamic, right?
- 35:42They say that they say that the the, the biggest grief
- 35:46conversation is when the the parent loses the child, right?
- 35:50And then the second is of course when the child loses their
- 35:52parent those they put it in a particular order.
- 35:56Yeah, my mom used to always say it's easier for a parent to lose
- 36:00a child than a child than a parent to lose their.
- 36:03I'm sorry. It's easier for a parent to lose
- 36:06a child than a child to lose their parent.
- 36:09Yeah. And.
- 36:11So what? So what is that?
- 36:13What's so how, how, how you know how, what, how have you been?
- 36:16What, what are you? How did you manage that?
- 36:18How are you managing it? What's going on with that grief?
- 36:23I can say now today I am much further along in the process
- 36:29emotionally and physically than I was, let's say four or five
- 36:35years ago. Losing my mother changed
- 36:39everything for me because that was like my best friend, so it
- 36:43would go to her for everything. We talk about everything.
- 36:46Her moving to California was a big issue because it changed her
- 36:49own outlook on life. The person she was back home was
- 36:54a different person. She was very closed off, kind of
- 36:57kept herself. And then she moved to California
- 37:00and she loved it. She got a brand new church
- 37:03family, she had tons of friends. She was going on retreats.
- 37:06She was passionate about life when she moved out here, so I
- 37:11love that for her. And that's what caused me to
- 37:13move to California because I was like, she's in love with it.
- 37:16She's here, she's doing well, let me go try, you know.
- 37:22But unfortunately she got cancer.
- 37:27She got diagnosed with cancer in 20/15/2016.
- 37:33She went through the 1st bout. She took it like a champ.
- 37:37She was smiling and all the pictures.
- 37:39She wanted to go get her nails done.
- 37:41She wanted to hang out. And I was like, you know, you,
- 37:44I, I kind of, my mom and I are kind of the same.
- 37:47You know, she's like, life is not slowing me down.
- 37:50This issue is not going to slow me down at all.
- 37:53But you know, we have to keep reminding her.
- 37:57Like, you have to bear in mind that you can't do all of those
- 38:00things at once. Rome wasn't built one day.
- 38:03And I used that phrase because she took a trip to a family
- 38:07reunion in London and that's where she came back.
- 38:12She had a cough and they didn't know what COVID was back then.
- 38:18Fast forward to today. Now we realize the symptoms that
- 38:22she was having were COVID related.
- 38:26Wow, wow, wow. Yeah, but she was determined.
- 38:29She was like, I work hard, I want to see my family.
- 38:33I'm taking this trip to London. And she never stopped living her
- 38:36life, like I said. But when the cancer came back
- 38:40the second time, it came back with a vengeance.
- 38:43And unfortunately, it took her out.
- 38:46Well, thank you. Thank you for sharing that with
- 38:48with us, with your mom being a part of the our sickle cell
- 38:53community and and us losing some some warriors over the left
- 38:58here. I was at some kind of
- 39:00conversation for our community around the grief.
- 39:02And like I said, my dad just did with my dad loss, right.
- 39:10It puts you in a different perspective of what life looks
- 39:12like. And I, I just, I know, you know,
- 39:16people have their opinions about grief and we got our different
- 39:19conversation about grief, but I, I'm like you, we got to go.
- 39:22You got to go at it. You just can't leave it to
- 39:24chance. You can't leave it to time.
- 39:26Like I, I know how principles work, taking personal
- 39:29development classes. And so if we take those classes,
- 39:32those grief counseling, those grief support classes, and you
- 39:34apply that to your life, you will start to discover some
- 39:38peace in your mind and your heart around that.
- 39:41But if you leave it to chance and leave it to overtime, who
- 39:44knows how long you know that process can take.
- 39:47So I encourage people based off my personal experience of taking
- 39:51those classes and applying that to my life and looking at grief
- 39:54as the title. And then inside of grief, you
- 39:57have lost mourning and grieving. Like you said, that emotional
- 40:00piece, you deal with the emotional piece of the grieving.
- 40:03You got to deal with the morning piece.
- 40:04Where you going to go? Are you going to go cry?
- 40:05You're going to go to the beach. Where you going to go?
- 40:07When you feel those emotions come up, you got you might have
- 40:10to just watch some pictures, the complete, whatever that is, you
- 40:12got to find out what that morning piece is for you.
- 40:15But also the biggest piece for me was that last piece was a
- 40:18loss, and the loss was who I had to become now.
- 40:22That I didn't have my earthly father without them and I was
- 40:26holding on to my dad like, oh, he should be here, we should be
- 40:29doing, he should be here with these talks right now.
- 40:30We should be doing this stuff. So I'm holding on to stuff that
- 40:33he is. He's gone.
- 40:36My identity without him now is like, I was so lost.
- 40:39Like who, who am I now? And when I got that last piece,
- 40:44I was like, OK, I believe in God and God's is his will, not I
- 40:48will. So am I going to continue to,
- 40:50we're thinking about what I should be doing with my dad and
- 40:53he's not here. I'm not going to go with what
- 40:54God had planned, which is not my plan.
- 40:56So then I'm like, OK, let me give him my plan about what I
- 40:59wanted to do with my father, even though and we were
- 41:01complete, you know, and there's no resentment, no regrets, but I
- 41:04still had that man. And I didn't know like there was
- 41:08an identity crisis with who am I now?
- 41:11And he's not here. So you, you, you feel, you felt
- 41:13that you experienced, that you have to look.
- 41:15At that, yeah. My advice to anyone who loses
- 41:17their parent, because it's like you said, it's different losing
- 41:20a friend, the auntie, grandma, cousin, a neighbor.
- 41:26When you lose a parent, it's like a part of you lose you a
- 41:29part you lose a part of yourself and finding yourself again,
- 41:33that's what it feels like. And finding yourself again, you
- 41:36have to really go internally and pray about it and do deep rooted
- 41:41work and find out what it is that you want to do to honor
- 41:45them. Since they're not here, What can
- 41:47I do to honor them, to make them be proud to say, you know, I
- 41:51despite everything that I went through, I'm still doing it.
- 41:54I'm still fighting through it. So that's how I, that was how I
- 41:57had to look at it because when I was going through it, I was
- 42:01like, yeah, this is not going to work.
- 42:03I mean, it got really dark for me.
- 42:05And I can honestly say it now. Before I was ready to talk, talk
- 42:09about it, but it got to a place where I had a nervous breakdown.
- 42:16I was hospitalized. I was up walking through the
- 42:19neighborhood all I was in the night.
- 42:21I couldn't sleep. I was fighting my sleep.
- 42:26That mental capacity, that mental capacity breaks down
- 42:29sometimes that mental capacity. And then we got going on what to
- 42:32what what to do, but it but it's it's who we get to be.
- 42:35It's who we get to become, who we get to be.
- 42:38So thank you for again, thank you for sharing that with our
- 42:41community and people listening, hopefully that people hear
- 42:43something for themselves. Just I might say, just don't
- 42:45leave it to chance. You can't leave it to time.
- 42:48Can't leave it to time they. Sometimes heals all wounds, but
- 42:52it's. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 42:53Like that part right like that you still have to be adamant and
- 42:56proactive in in whatever it is that you plan on doing.
- 43:01Yes, you can pray. They said have a all you need is
- 43:04a pea size amount of faith, but you also have to put the work in
- 43:08with that faith to get to where it is that you're.
- 43:11Going prayer is prayer is an action word.
- 43:13Faith is an action word. Hope is those are action words.
- 43:15You got to be in action exactly. Again, thank you for that.
- 43:20Oh, sorry, go ahead. No, I was just going to say that
- 43:24I use, I use my mom and the whole situation as my wife to
- 43:31continue to press for it and go harder and as hard as I possibly
- 43:34can. Like I'm doing it.
- 43:36I have a goal in mind and I'm going to get there as long as I
- 43:39keep this in the back of my mind that that's my wife.
- 43:43Yeah, no, thank you. Yeah, I do the same with my dad.
- 43:46I share our story about how we reconciled so people don't,
- 43:49people don't hear the loss in him.
- 43:50They hear the reconciliation of how our relationship we was re
- 43:54established after all those years.
- 43:55So yeah, thank you. So I want to touch on something
- 44:00before I let you go. The blood, you do transfusions.
- 44:05We know that our our culture really don't donate blood.
- 44:08And so there's this whole conversation about blood
- 44:10donations and blood drives. So what do you want to speak to
- 44:13that part about about? Sickle cell.
- 44:17I can say quite a bit. So growing up I was born Roman
- 44:22Catholic. Both my mother and father were
- 44:24Roman Catholic. My mother became Baptist and my
- 44:27father became Christian, going to a 7th Day Adventist church
- 44:33and my mother was going to a Baptist Church.
- 44:36Me personally, I would go to church with my mom because
- 44:40that's where she was going. That was her church family and I
- 44:43hadn't found a place of my own. But I say all this to say that
- 44:49it's truly, in my opinion, it's a personal choice.
- 44:53It's something that you feel internally if your heart of
- 44:56heart is telling you, if you can be spiritual, like I know they
- 45:00can have a prayer, have a moment where I just clear my mind and
- 45:05think about nothing. But whatever the goal of the
- 45:08task is or whatever it is that I'm going through, I pray about
- 45:11it, I deal with it and I keep pushing forward.
- 45:14But because of the my my upbringing, I always felt like
- 45:19I'm not doing enough. I'm not going to church every
- 45:21Sunday. I'm not doing it.
- 45:22I'm not doing that. So I had that push me, push me
- 45:26fully youth battle, and at one point I was even studying as a
- 45:32Jehovah's Witness. So blood was a big issue, right?
- 45:37But when it came to it, I had to make a hard decision of do I
- 45:43some because most hospitals, they don't have the alternatives
- 45:47as an option. So you either have to take the
- 45:50blood transfusion or see if they have the alternative.
- 45:53And if they don't have an alternative, then you're kind of
- 45:56out of luck. Yeah.
- 45:58But I, like I said, I've just gotten to a place in my life
- 46:02where I know that it's important because if I don't have it, I've
- 46:06seen the side of that and what can happen.
- 46:09And I think even when I met you, we were talking about the choice
- 46:13of doing the holistic route versus taking medication.
- 46:19And a lot of people can't afford to do the holistic thing because
- 46:23it's so expensive. And then you pay for everything.
- 46:25Like you pay for your visits, you pay for the treatment, you
- 46:28pay for the medicine, you pay for, you know, whatever.
- 46:33They now have other yeah, they all have other supplements and
- 46:37things that you can take. But it becomes something that
- 46:40you really have to invest in, which is fine.
- 46:43But for the average sickler, most of us are either not
- 46:47working or are working part time.
- 46:53Yeah. So my advice to anyone who's
- 46:55going through it, do what's best for you.
- 47:00If you feel some type of way about it and then you're you're
- 47:03at it. That would send you're like,
- 47:05well, my religious, my religion tells me not to do XY and Z.
- 47:10You have to make the choice, you know.
- 47:13And for those that are listening in our community of African
- 47:16American descent, we need the blood donations.
- 47:19We need to donate your blood. So the blood donation is a real
- 47:23conversation. There's a shortage.
- 47:26And like you said, some of our community members need
- 47:29transfusions every week, sometimes monthly.
- 47:32So again, for us as a culture, whatever that is, we're still
- 47:35trying to figure out what that the mindset is of why we don't
- 47:40donate blood for those who can, that we need your state, that
- 47:44our community needs your support.
- 47:46We need your support in that blood donation.
- 47:48All right, Lynn, Also Oh. Sorry, no go ahead.
- 47:51No go. Ahead.
- 47:53No. I was going to say also because
- 47:56of the constant blood transfusions you then later in
- 48:00life may run into which I was talking about, right?
- 48:03The. Iron overload, so it's.
- 48:08Is it still is it still XJ? Is it still XJ or is it is it
- 48:12something? Else no.
- 48:13Now they have Jadenu and the the the the Cephalon, which is a
- 48:22tablet that you take three times a day, but it has side effects.
- 48:27So just like anything else there.
- 48:30You have that what? What?
- 48:31What do you want the world to know about Sickle Cell?
- 48:33What do you want? What do you want?
- 48:35I want people to know that our pain is real and there are a lot
- 48:41of sicklers who suffer in silence, unfortunately.
- 48:45And it's sad because sometimes you go to the hospital and they
- 48:49automatically assume that you're drug.
- 48:51Super. And not that you're physically
- 48:54in pain. I've shared stories with other
- 48:57friends of mine who either have siblings who have sickle cell,
- 49:01who have clients, patients, whatever, who have sickle cell.
- 49:04And one of the biggest things that I'm hearing back is that we
- 49:08always have to fight. We always have to fight.
- 49:11So you have to advocate for yourself no matter what it is.
- 49:15If it's that you're not getting your medication, or you can't
- 49:18find their hematologist that's willing to work with you, or you
- 49:21can't find your insurance, change something like for me, my
- 49:24insurance. Change.
- 49:26So now I have to find someone who's willing to work with me so
- 49:30that I can get monthly blood transfusions.
- 49:34So whatever the case may be, advocate for yourself.
- 49:37There are options out there, you just have to do your research.
- 49:41But definitely know that you're not alone in this and it does
- 49:46get better and there are groups out there.
- 49:50If you're looking for people who you know who may, who may guide
- 49:56you in the right direction, you can always hit me up.
- 49:59I'm quiet Lynn, MN 29 on Instagram and on Facebook.
- 50:06I'm Lynn Night Mickey and on TikTok.
- 50:10Cue the shy. Cue the shy 14345.

- 50:17you was out. You was going for a minute.
- 50:18I was like I was. Like.
- 50:20Is this really her like? Her account, Like who is this
- 50:23message to be talking about? I'm ready to talk like Nah, then
- 50:26you ain't. You ain't.
- 50:29I know I it's like I said, it took me a while.
- 50:34I've been on a serious journey to get back to this place
- 50:38because I was done. I was done with social media.
- 50:42I was done with the world. I had stopped going to work with
- 50:46kids. So what?
- 50:49What part of the country are you in right now?
- 50:50Where you at right now? What?
- 50:51What? Part of I'm still in California.
- 50:53I'm still in California. We got to, we got to do some
- 50:55work, then we just, we just going to stop playing, get back
- 50:57to work. To be continued.
- 51:00Yes, a lot. Of stuff going on so be
- 51:02continued thank you for taking time.
- 51:04I pray that my listeners again hear something my don't mind the
- 51:07background noise, but you know this is live we're on Roku TV
- 51:10we're on all of no it's good. This is what it is to be real
- 51:13life. So it's not it's not perfect.
- 51:15So thank you for hanging out today.

- 51:19Did I miss anything? Anything you want to drop some
- 51:21key points? Got it all covered.
- 51:25Oh, so a friend of mine mentioned that she goes to your
- 51:28church. I call her.
- 51:30I call her my cousin because I've known her for so long.
- 51:34And her My good friend is actually her cousin.
- 51:37She says that she goes to the church.
- 51:38Yeah, she's like, I don't run. She.
- 51:41Goes to my school. You gotta go hang out there.
- 51:44See what I'm saying? We got to do some work in the
- 51:47community, in the church. Circle is small man Circle is
- 51:51small. Have a friend tell a friend.
- 51:56Share Share Share. Thank you.
- 51:58Thank you for hanging out, Landon.
- 52:00Good to see you again. I'm in close to.
- 52:02Reading, but thank you for coming to hang out with us on
- 52:05the MB Radio. Platform.
- 52:06Thank you. All right, you too.
- 52:07All right, ladies and gentlemen, this is Fondo's a show, the
- 52:10Military Broadcast Real Network, MB Radio dot USA Sickle Cell
- 52:14Awareness Month, the last day of the month.
- 52:16So we wanted to make sure that we get our conversations in.
- 52:19I'm going to play a song dedicated to my veterans and
- 52:23then we're going to come back with Ariana and get into this
- 52:26Genesis chapter 2. Grab your word, grab your pen
- 52:29and paper, set your opinions to the side and just kind of just
- 52:33listen to what the word has to say.
- 52:35And then you you, you get to to, you know, make those choices and
- 52:38and kind of get a chance to self examine yourself.
- 52:42That's all we could do with the word is self examine yourself.
- 52:46All right, this is the front of the show, the military broadcast
- 52:49radio network and be real. Catch me Tuesdays KCA Radar one
- 52:53O 6.5 FM Tiffany AM and streaming at kcared.com, the
- 52:58other station that leaves no listener behind again the front
- 53:01dosage show. Where's my tongue at here you
- 53:02go. Oh man, this veteran, this
- 53:06veteran life ain't no joke. Al let me tell you something I'm
- 53:09this this this veteran life is no joke.
- 53:12I'm still adjust. I'm it's about to be thirteen
- 53:15years me retired and just dealing with that military
- 53:19identity. I went to God about it and he's
- 53:21he's like Nope, that that one identity right there.
- 53:24You, you, you won't keep that one because I need That's why I
- 53:26gave you that that career for that identity and it ended
- 53:30definitely lines up with God's armor.
- 53:31When I was able to catch the God's armor in the spirit and
- 53:35was like, Oh my goodness, it's like me being a soldier, except
- 53:38as a Kingdom citizen. We don't fight wars right See,
- 53:42so I had to alter my mindset. I put on God's armor and then I
- 53:46stand and I pray and the angels go fight.
- 53:49But in the in our world, citizen soldiers put on do you know from
- 53:53an A go fight. Do the citizens of the United
- 53:55States fight? No, we got citizen soldiers that
- 53:57fight. So when I got that in the spirit
- 53:59and was able to look at from another perspective, I actually
- 54:02had a lot of peace in that. So that military identity is
- 54:05there. Yes, I use that comment to move
- 54:07my conversation 40 in the work that I'm doing here.
- 54:10So let's play this song. Find Jose show, tell the
- 54:13Southwest to count. Mr. Red, White and Blue, let me
- 57:40tell you, it's one of my favorite songs right there.
- 57:43I look back, being a veteran, being retired now, my brothers
- 57:48and sisters at arms, so much going on, like I said, in our
- 57:51community. That identity, that identity,
- 57:54that identity, that identity Crisis for me is at the root of
- 57:58a lot of it. Today I went to San Bernardino
- 58:02County Behavioral Health. They had a summit, resilient
- 58:06Summit. And I even look at resilient
- 58:08even for my brothers and sisters.
- 58:10I'm just going to share this look only because I've done my
- 58:14work. I can say this from my from what
- 58:16I learned about myself, when I say that I was resilient, you
- 58:21know, was I really resilient? See, resilient means that you
- 58:26were able to bounce back, right? Or resilient, we go through
- 58:31those hard times and we bounce back.
- 58:32But guess what, though? For human beings, it's hard for
- 58:35us to bounce back as a human being and our mind will and
- 58:38emotions because sometimes when we bounce back, we leave stuff
- 58:41incomplete. And now I got all this stuff in
- 58:44my life that's incomplete, but I'm resilient, so I'm pushing
- 58:47past that. But what does the word use?
- 58:48The word uses perseverance, right?
- 58:51So I look at resilience, I look at perseverance.
- 58:54And for me, perseverance gave me that much more power and
- 58:59strength because you push past with perseverance, even
- 59:02regardless of what the situation is, regardless of what it looks
- 59:05like, regardless, even if I don't want to bounce back with
- 59:08perseverance because I go back and I'm going to complete that,
- 59:12even though incomplete, I'm going to right.
- 59:19It's not right or wrong, good or bad.
- 59:20I'm saying that listen to how it gives you your strength and your
- 59:23power, right? And for human beings, it's hard
- 59:28for us to bounce back. We say we do, but do you really
- 59:31bounce back? Look, in life, we leave a lot of
- 59:34things incomplete. We start things that doesn't.
- 59:37That's not fun anymore. I don't want to do that no more.
- 59:39But then your mind is like, yeah, but you, how you going to
- 59:42do that when you still got that open?
- 59:43You got that over there, incomplete relationships
- 59:45incomplete. So how do we bounce back
- 59:47Everything that incomplete? That's what I learned.
- 59:49And when I put those two together and and look at them
- 59:52from my own different perception and interpretation, I got
- 59:56another layer of strength in my perseverance that which now.
- 1:00:00OK. Resilience, but then I know for
- 1:00:02spiritually is perseverance and you put those together and you
- 1:00:05manage that, right? And you manage it.
- 1:00:06Sometimes it might be resilient. I might need the thought of
- 1:00:09resilience to get back to preserve perseverance.
- 1:00:12That's just me. All right, we're going to bring
- 1:00:14up Ariana get the second-half of the show going.
- 1:00:16He already dropped a little bit of knowledge on y'all.
- 1:00:18But again, we appreciate you for two listening in today to the NB
- 1:00:22Radio platform. If you want to support us, that
- 1:00:25QR code up there, they provide all these platforms for us.
- 1:00:29So your donations go directly to take care of the Roku Channel
- 1:00:32and the streaming channels and the stream yard and all the
- 1:00:35stuff that they provide for us with their nonprofit.
- 1:00:39You can donate to that organization right there in the
- 1:00:41QR code. All right, so let me bring up my
- 1:00:44guide. Where you at, man?
- 1:00:45Let me see. All right, man, thanks for
- 1:00:50hanging in there, bro. I appreciate you, man.
- 1:00:52I had to get that community work.
- 1:00:54You had to get it in the last day of the month, man.
- 1:00:57And so shouts out the lamb for coming to hang out with us.
- 1:01:01I was hoping she'd stay around because this one might be a
- 1:01:03little bit interesting because I'm cracking heads today for the
- 1:01:06guys. Oh, she might.
- 1:01:08She might be on the YouTube listen still.
- 1:01:09She might still be streaming on the YouTube, but she might not.
- 1:01:11She might not be all the way out.
- 1:01:14But. Yeah, so, so you bringing up,
- 1:01:16you see the title. You gave the title scorned.
- 1:01:20Wait, wait. What?
- 1:01:21What? Put you on the Yeah.
- 1:01:22What? You want?
- 1:01:24How did you put that title? Because I'm starting to realize
- 1:01:27when men start holding themselves accountable in
- 1:01:29general eliminates the scoring of the woman because the woman,
- 1:01:33all she asks for you to hold yourself accountable saying
- 1:01:37you're sorry or apologizes, it's accepted responsibility.
- 1:01:41You, you was irresponsible and you accepted it by saying I
- 1:01:45apologize. It ain't going to happen again.
- 1:01:47But we can shift responsibility off all the time.
- 1:01:50But when it comes to holding accountability, now you got to
- 1:01:53make a permanent change to yourself that she's asking for
- 1:02:00you that she wants to see. And nine times out of 10, it's
- 1:02:04really nothing against us that we're taking away from ourselves
- 1:02:06giving her this. It's actually something that's
- 1:02:10actually building us up to become better on who we are.
- 1:02:14He hints the word help me in the Bible as so she came to be if
- 1:02:19you actually opened up a ear and actually listened to her.
- 1:02:25Are you going to go like, so you going to put us on the you going
- 1:02:27to put us on the carpet like that today?
- 1:02:29Is that what you're doing? It's time to crack.
- 1:02:31It's time. It's time for the men.
- 1:02:33Yes, it's time to crack heads. It's time to go in.
- 1:02:36So what? You're saying is So what you're
- 1:02:38saying is that sometimes that woman who was in our life that's
- 1:02:42coming on to be our helpmate, become a better person, could be
- 1:02:47making requests on us to help us improve ourselves.
- 1:02:51That she sees something that maybe if you be this kind of
- 1:02:55way, it could improve your character, your behavior, your
- 1:02:58personality, your attitude. Is that what you're saying?
- 1:03:00Is that what you? Yeah, exactly.
- 1:03:02We can't. Yeah, it's like that, really.
- 1:03:05Oh yeah, I got a friend of mine. She's just a friend, but we hang
- 1:03:09out a lot now. We just started hanging out in
- 1:03:10July of June. Yeah, but we hang out a lot and
- 1:03:16we hang out every weekend. And the thing about it was, see,
- 1:03:20it's cool. The one thing that men have to
- 1:03:23stop doing, we got to stop listening to the natural man.
- 1:03:26We got to shut that down. The natural man is what kills it
- 1:03:30all. Every single time you screw up,
- 1:03:33it's only temporary. It might be a good flow.
- 1:03:35And then you just kind of like nose dive straight to the
- 1:03:37ground. And the whole point is, is like
- 1:03:40we have to start paying attention when it comes to the
- 1:03:44opposite sex to know that they are a human being, they have a
- 1:03:48mind, they have a spirit, they have a soul just as well as we
- 1:03:51do. It's just the body is different,
- 1:03:55the shell. But however, on the internal
- 1:03:59they have some, well they have some enhanced parts and that we
- 1:04:04don't have and yet they have, we have enhanced parts that they
- 1:04:08don't have. But the one thing that man did
- 1:04:11do in Genesis and what God did do in Genesis 128, if I'm not
- 1:04:17mistaken, he did says, yeah, it says, well, 127 God.
- 1:04:24So God created man in his own image, in the image of God.
- 1:04:30He created him semi colon. Wait a minute, that semi colon
- 1:04:34is very important. So he took the spirit of himself
- 1:04:37already. He took a piece of himself.
- 1:04:39He went inside himself and made something right, made a spirit,
- 1:04:43right. That's why it says semi colon,
- 1:04:47right? And in the image of God he made,
- 1:04:52he created him. And the image of God, he created
- 1:04:56him. The image at the time was the
- 1:04:58spirit, the spirit of God. So in that he made an image of
- 1:05:03him, which is I would say once a clone, but not a clone.
- 1:05:09He took a piece of his spirit and formed.
- 1:05:12Then it says, right, wait, that's another semi colon.
- 1:05:15That semi colon is very important because it doesn't
- 1:05:17mean it's just in the statement and that's it.
- 1:05:20No, there's more. So he did that and did what he
- 1:05:23did was he differentiated the two by saying male and female,
- 1:05:29he created them. So when we talk about that, it's
- 1:05:37a lot going on in there. Nobody really reads it right
- 1:05:39because everybody says, well, this is all those statement he
- 1:05:41created man, blah, blah, blah. And well, woman, you know, she
- 1:05:44was created with evils. No, you ain't paying attention.
- 1:05:47Male and female mean a lot. Those words were used for a
- 1:05:51reason, they're not just there for you to ignore and move past.
- 1:05:56You see what I'm saying? So it's saying that God had the
- 1:05:59balance of masculinity and femininity than himself would
- 1:06:03that makes him Omni anyway. He's omnipresent.
- 1:06:07He's omniscient. He's omnipotent, omnipotent.
- 1:06:13So Omni means all in one, right? Then everybody's like, well, was
- 1:06:23God a man or a woman? Well, here we go.
- 1:06:24Physical science proved that he was a man first.
- 1:06:28When you have a seed inside the womb, it's male before it turns
- 1:06:32female. The embryo is a male before it
- 1:06:36turns female. Doctors told me this when my
- 1:06:39daughter was born because I was like, I got a son, I got a boy,
- 1:06:42I got a son, I got a boy. She said, Nope, That part opened
- 1:06:45up, unfortunately. Now notice what the doctor said?
- 1:06:48That part didn't stay closed. It opened up.
- 1:06:52And then I'm looking at my daughter and I'm seeing my
- 1:06:54daughter on the ultrasound and I'm looking at the baby.
- 1:06:56Like, wait a minute, how can you tell?
- 1:06:59She said, see this right here on the bottom?
- 1:07:01Yeah, that opened up. I said, oh, and then I was like,
- 1:07:04is my brother moaning me right now?
- 1:07:07And she was like, Oh yeah, yes, she is.
- 1:07:08I was like, oh, so she freestyled me.
- 1:07:15But that's the point of understanding.
- 1:07:18Excuse me? So that's the point of
- 1:07:22understanding that it was male first.
- 1:07:24That's silence. You can't shake it.
- 1:07:26You could try to go about it or not, whatever you want to do,
- 1:07:29have your own opinion about it. But go to any doctor.
- 1:07:31They'll tell you when the baby's inside the womb.
- 1:07:33That's all. Yeah, that's, it's a male first.
- 1:07:37So. So looking at that, we can just
- 1:07:40start with the whole man versus woman thing and all of this
- 1:07:44stuff. But the part that I wanted to
- 1:07:45get into really the most, it's about the mistakes of Adam.
- 1:07:51This is where I'm cracking men's heads.
- 1:07:52It's time for us to start showing some sort of universal
- 1:07:57accountability for us being young and dumb.
- 1:08:00Do you know what I'm saying? The teenage years, you know, the
- 1:08:06teenage years are 14. The 14, those are the old.
- 1:08:11Like I said, that's the reason why it's very important to pay
- 1:08:13attention to what you went through between 14 and 25
- 1:08:16because now it times out of 10. That's the heart of your trauma.
- 1:08:19Whatever you went through to frustrate the senior year in
- 1:08:21high school is the heart of your trauma.
- 1:08:22I can almost bet you any money, it's the heart of who you are
- 1:08:27confident in where your ego stands.
- 1:08:30And I can almost bet you that's where, if you, if you have
- 1:08:33trauma in your life, that's the part that you're overlooking as
- 1:08:36a man. So taking it to Genesis, taking
- 1:08:42it to Genesis 18, let's just go there.
- 1:08:47And the Lord God said it is not good that man should be alone.
- 1:08:53I will make him a helper comparable to him.
- 1:08:56That's in the new King James version.
- 1:08:57Your version might have something similar but different,
- 1:09:01but at the same time it says that and the Lord God said it is
- 1:09:05not good that man stood. That word is very important.
- 1:09:10Should be alone. Suggestion.
- 1:09:12You should go to the bathroom right about now if you ain't
- 1:09:16went yet. But that don't mean you got to
- 1:09:18go because you ain't got to go. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:09:22Should means there's a decision. Should means there's a choice.
- 1:09:26There's no way on this earth that anywhere in this word that
- 1:09:29man has to choose to be alone. Period.
- 1:09:35That's the falsehood of the enemy right there.
- 1:09:39Because when we raised man, you, you got to learn how to handle
- 1:09:41yourself. You got to learn how to do it
- 1:09:42yourself. You know, you got to learn how
- 1:09:44to handle. You got to handle your business.
- 1:09:45You got to stand alone. You don't need no help.
- 1:09:47You don't need none of this. You fall down, you get back up,
- 1:09:49you keep going and you're OK. Well, we could go on ahead and
- 1:09:52keep saying that. Then you wonder why men crack
- 1:09:54under pressure. Do you wonder why we have
- 1:09:56serious suicidal ideations? You wonder why man is being
- 1:09:59reckless, drinking all the time, getting high all the time.
- 1:10:01Because they feel like they're alone, but they choose to be,
- 1:10:06but simply you're not supposed to be.
- 1:10:07Now connected to that, I'm going to skip past the fact that he
- 1:10:12named all the animals. That was just a test.
- 1:10:14That was God's test to see if he was ready for a helpmate.
- 1:10:17Can he delegate correctly? Well, he delegated to his
- 1:10:21knowledge. But the one thing that God
- 1:10:23didn't see was the one thing that God gave him free will
- 1:10:25about was how to receive the gift that he was given.
- 1:10:32That's where the free will flipped in and This is why I say
- 1:10:35Adam made the first mistake since he opened up his mouth and
- 1:10:39it does say right here after Genesis 22222.
- 1:10:46Then the real which the Lord God had taken from man, He made into
- 1:10:50woman, and He brought her. The man brought her to me, OK,
- 1:10:56So he went inside Adam. God always works from the inside
- 1:11:01out. So He went inside Adam Yep,
- 1:11:05pulled out a rib form woman didn't put her in the ground
- 1:11:08because it doesn't say that. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:11:11What is not written let's you know exactly what it was.
- 1:11:13So she wasn't grounded. See, that's the one thing they
- 1:11:17didn't pay attention to. That goes back to the beginning
- 1:11:20in Genesis 27. And the Lord God formed man from
- 1:11:27the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the
- 1:11:32breath of life, and man became a living being.
- 1:11:35So he formed man from the ground.
- 1:11:38So he went into the earth. Right after he softened up the
- 1:11:42soil with the mist, he went into the earth, formed the body.
- 1:11:47He put the breath of life in too, and he became a living
- 1:11:50being. OK, That's the spirit.
- 1:11:52He gave us a spirit. He put a spirit in this one.
- 1:11:56The male spirit went inside the ground and formed man, and man
- 1:12:00became a living being. OK, So if we got that now, when
- 1:12:04he formed woman, he took the rib and formed her, but he never
- 1:12:09said she'd put her in the ground.
- 1:12:11So that's why she's a helpmate. She's not.
- 1:12:15She's equal to us. She's complimentary to us when
- 1:12:19we guide her in that direction to be so.
- 1:12:23She's a helpmate to us. Here's what men do.
- 1:12:25We want women to help us but don't want to tell her how to
- 1:12:28help us. OK, that's kind of confusing.
- 1:12:30How if you so busy being quiet, how's she going to know what to
- 1:12:33do? She ain't got osmosis or
- 1:12:35telekinetic energy to jump and read your brain on how to help
- 1:12:38you. So you ain't opening up your
- 1:12:41mouth to tell her then she ain't helping.
- 1:12:42She don't know what to do. He hints on how this is all
- 1:12:46started. So man got Adam.
- 1:12:49I would say he went to a point of being that teenage boy.
- 1:12:55That first time when you challenge your daddy, when you
- 1:12:58thought you got well, you know, your dad got you and you thought
- 1:13:02you had it. You put your chest up.
- 1:13:05Are you so happy? You so proud you tried to
- 1:13:07stretch your own little feathers.
- 1:13:09You was like that little monkey to the gorilla running around
- 1:13:11beating his little real chest up.
- 1:13:14You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I got it.
- 1:13:16I got it. He standing with his chest.
- 1:13:19Why? Because it says Adam said this
- 1:13:22is what Adam didn't say. I didn't say thank you father
- 1:13:25for giving me this gift. Adam didn't say I reverence you,
- 1:13:30Lord, may I he didn't ask permission.
- 1:13:34He didn't do nothing. The unwritten the unwritten the
- 1:13:41natural man kicked in right there.
- 1:13:43He was feeling himself. And according to this, you don't
- 1:13:48know he had all the laws in the world if you read it.
- 1:13:52And I was just awful. God.
- 1:13:54And he named woman. No, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 1:13:59Jesus had to turn around and clean that up.
- 1:14:02But he says I don't do this under my own will.
- 1:14:05I do this under my father's will.
- 1:14:14So I'm, I'm cracking heads. It's time to crack this head
- 1:14:17over right here. So right exactly.
- 1:14:22You got to crack it open. So what we're doing right now,
- 1:14:25it's time for men to stop being boys and hiding behind their own
- 1:14:30iniquity. It's time for them to stand up
- 1:14:33and understand you're not that boy no more.
- 1:14:36If you're 46 years old and you're still thinking that
- 1:14:38you're a singer in high school, we have a problem because that's
- 1:14:42nine times and 10. You still thinking you that hard
- 1:14:44gang banger on the corner and gang bang has been a whole thing
- 1:14:47of the past. They got a whole new system now
- 1:14:49with these young boys. You thinking that you're the
- 1:14:51hardest tough stuff, right? You think you hardest tough
- 1:14:54stuff because you was over here fucking the Omega Sign 5
- 1:14:57fraternity with your muscles, but all the muscles is really
- 1:15:00done but fat and flat because you old as head and you still
- 1:15:03run around here trying to step and you're over here still
- 1:15:05trying to be the man, the ego, what you designed yourself to be
- 1:15:12instead of who God called you to be.
- 1:15:16So it gets down right here where Adam said that he didn't even
- 1:15:19declare it right. He made the biggest mistake in
- 1:15:21the world where he said this. This is what I noticed what's
- 1:15:23not written, it's what's defining who Adam is.
- 1:15:26And I tell you this, my apostle told me this one time I came in
- 1:15:29the car. I got in the car with him one
- 1:15:31morning, one Sunday morning because I had to confront him.
- 1:15:34I'm feeling hurt. I got my heart on my sleeve, but
- 1:15:37I love them. And I just got to tell you I'm
- 1:15:40going though, right? So I was just like, all of this
- 1:15:43stuff, we'll walk the band, Blase, Skippy, yadda, yadda,
- 1:15:46yadda. And I just really need to know
- 1:15:49what are we doing? And he just sat there and said,
- 1:15:54how old are you? I said 46.
- 1:15:56He says, well, I've been passing probably longer than you've been
- 1:16:00alive. I said, OK, I'll take that.
- 1:16:03And he said, you're going to rack yourself crazy into the
- 1:16:07loony event if you think you can make everybody get along or
- 1:16:12think how you think, which made sense.
- 1:16:17And when he saw that and I said, well, I've been constantly
- 1:16:20dealing with this and dealing with this and I've been praying
- 1:16:22about it. He said, have you been praying
- 1:16:23about it? I said, yes, I've been praying
- 1:16:24about it. I have not been saying nothing.
- 1:16:26I've been praying about it for the past five months.
- 1:16:29He says, OK, well, I got a question for you.
- 1:16:32Did the situation change or did you change?
- 1:16:37And that's what it dawned on me. Iced all of that.
- 1:16:40Wait, no, the situation didn't change, but I did in so many
- 1:16:47ways that empowered me to be more for what God called me to
- 1:16:51be and what I was going into. And guess what?
- 1:16:54All that resentment, all that building is all that rage, all
- 1:16:58that anger, all that little boy in high school gone with
- 1:17:03silence. It was like he gave him the
- 1:17:04death touch. Karate chop.
- 1:17:06Sit down. But but you know, that was good
- 1:17:10because the mine is looking at the situation.
- 1:17:17In a one One Direction and not seeing it from the Omni
- 1:17:21direction which is gone. Mine is looking at the situation
- 1:17:25and he said that he we will my words.
- 1:17:30You can have pissed Pete's in the midst of the storm.
- 1:17:34That's what that means. You can have peace in the midst
- 1:17:36of the storm. So the situ, he may not change
- 1:17:38the situation, but your heart posture can change.
- 1:17:41He could change. How you think about the
- 1:17:43situation is what changes. Man and what I say when I say
- 1:17:49the Spirit heard it. It was what the Spirit needed to
- 1:17:52answer for. Yeah, I called it and it said
- 1:17:55it. Oh, damn.
- 1:17:57That I was like, I'm feeling joy now.
- 1:17:59I really don't even care anymore.
- 1:18:00Why do I not feel heavy anymore? Because he just took it right
- 1:18:03there. God said.
- 1:18:04God used him to say, I know, son, I'm just going to take this
- 1:18:07away from you right here and now.
- 1:18:10I'm good now understanding that when he said that later on that
- 1:18:15night, he was talking because he's riding around all day and
- 1:18:18he sat there and told me. He said, dude, you don't have to
- 1:18:20say much of anything at all. He said what defines a man is
- 1:18:24what they don't say. What defines a man is what they
- 1:18:32don't say. So what explains a man, which is
- 1:18:36what definition means or define means.
- 1:18:38To define means to explain is what is not said of a man.
- 1:18:46Brings me back to this. Adam didn't say a lot in this
- 1:18:49that he was supposed to say because the natural man took
- 1:18:53over. So that let me know where how
- 1:18:57we're explaining Adam right now. Adam is immature.
- 1:19:01Adam was in the natural man Adam was young.
- 1:19:05Adam didn't really have he had the wisdom, but he didn't
- 1:19:08understand how to apply it right.
- 1:19:10So in Genesis till 23, it said Adam said, oh, whoa.
- 1:19:16Well, he didn't ask and he didn't reverence.
- 1:19:20He didn't, you know, get permission.
- 1:19:22He just said it. Well, he said, this is now bone
- 1:19:27of my bone and flesh of my flesh.
- 1:19:31Well, he made the mistake right there in this declaration, this
- 1:19:34vow, which is the reason why it says in Ecclesiastes, it's
- 1:19:39better not to make a vow at all than to make a vow then break
- 1:19:42it, right? He didn't make the bow all the
- 1:19:46way, correct? Yes, woman shall be flesh in
- 1:19:50your flesh, bone in your bone. And God said, OK, you all do
- 1:19:53something. You think you got it right.
- 1:19:55But what he mentioned, he what what he didn't mention, which
- 1:19:58could have probably kept us in the garden.
- 1:20:02Spirit, spirit of my spirit. He went to the flesh.
- 1:20:14He went straight to the flesh and didn't put spirit of my
- 1:20:17spirit. Had it been spirit of my spirit,
- 1:20:18she could still been a female, but could have been connected to
- 1:20:22him, to his sink to where the serpent get to talking.
- 1:20:26Adam is aware. Click, click, click.
- 1:20:28Hold on, what you doing right? We In Sync.
- 1:20:31When you get married to your wife or you with your woman, you
- 1:20:35In Sync with her. That's what makes you get
- 1:20:37together. That's what makes the the
- 1:20:40fireworks fly. When you when she got your back
- 1:20:43through the real estate situations, when you got her
- 1:20:46back through the real situation. It's not when you charm her and
- 1:20:49get hurt with a dozen roses and said, let's go eat at Fleming's.
- 1:20:53No, it's when you go through a hard and she's like, baby, I got
- 1:20:57you. I'm rubbing your back and I
- 1:20:59understand exactly. And when you go there, when it
- 1:21:02is the rubbing of the back, I got you, love.
- 1:21:04I know. I see what you're dealing with
- 1:21:09when she says that you see vice versa.
- 1:21:12Now you're spiritually In Sync. That makes any man over time
- 1:21:16says let me bend the knee and give you this ring.
- 1:21:19Because what happened is God sees you see God in her and she
- 1:21:23sees God in you. Therefore God is in the midst.
- 1:21:27He's in the center of the relationship.
- 1:21:29You ain't breaking up. Why?
- 1:21:32Because y'all moving like brother and sister, but yet
- 1:21:34there is an intimate connection between the both of you.
- 1:21:37That could have been your comment had Adam just said and
- 1:21:41she shall be spirit of my spirit.
- 1:21:43He didn't know what he was saying but it's OK.
- 1:21:47That's OK. She shall be called women.
- 1:21:49Wait a minute, you didn't ask God to name her?
- 1:21:51Wait, stop. God told you to name all the
- 1:21:54animals but he didn't say to keep going.
- 1:21:57Oh, you. Going he.
- 1:21:58Just said name all the animals. Yes, you.
- 1:22:00Going you going stupid? Every sentence in here, he just
- 1:22:06got started. She shall be called woman before
- 1:22:09she came out of me. Oh, OK.
- 1:22:11All right. God.
- 1:22:12Notice God did not speak. God didn't say anything.
- 1:22:15God let it be. So as a matter of fact, he said,
- 1:22:18all right, son, you think you got it?
- 1:22:21You're good. I love this.
- 1:22:22This is awesome. I love my son.
- 1:22:25He's proud of his son because he's standing on.
- 1:22:27But he's got some issues. So he's like, OK, God, God's
- 1:22:30like, OK, well I'm going to test him.
- 1:22:32Let me clean it. I'm going to test him.
- 1:22:35So I'm going to test him. He didn't clean it up.
- 1:22:37He just tested him. He cleaned it up after Adam
- 1:22:40failed the test. So he so as the enemy tried to
- 1:22:48choke up my throat and bust with my stomach, I do not care
- 1:22:52because this shall go forth. So as you look at it, he says
- 1:22:56because she was taken out of man, OK, that's the business.
- 1:22:58That's the complete vow. Period, Period.
- 1:23:02There's no comma, there's no semi colon.
- 1:23:04That's period. He had nothing else to add.
- 1:23:07So God said, well, this is God talking at this point.
- 1:23:12Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother.
- 1:23:15Whoops. So I guess Adam just left his
- 1:23:16daddy right there. Do you see what I'm saying?
- 1:23:21And Mother Nature and be joined to his wife once again.
- 1:23:29This is where people get the Mandela Effect in Genesis 224.
- 1:23:34Everybody wants to think that, you know, man can leave their
- 1:23:37mother and father for any woman. Well, stop, pause, pause.
- 1:23:42There's a tire right there. It didn't say his woman.
- 1:23:46It said his wife. There's a reason why that's
- 1:23:50there. That word wife means a lot.
- 1:23:55Do you see what I'm saying? Because any woman, any woman,
- 1:24:00you leave you OK? Yeah, you could do that.
- 1:24:02But you might have a mess on your hands.
- 1:24:05You see what I'm saying? A man and his wife become one
- 1:24:07flesh, but an incomplete man and his girlfriend becomes one mess.
- 1:24:16A friend of mine made a joke about that a while back.
- 1:24:18I started on TikTok. It was hilarious.
- 1:24:20We said it, but it's true. Yeah, that's that's true.
- 1:24:23It's true. It's been a mess.
- 1:24:27Yeah, the reason it's again because when you're going into,
- 1:24:30I don't know, see how to distract you right now.
- 1:24:33I pay attention because I know y'all heard that all in the
- 1:24:36recording. But it's true.
- 1:24:38The interview wants to stop this because he know this is coming
- 1:24:40forth. He tried to Take Me Out 2/3
- 1:24:42Sundays ago in a car accident. I got out of that one with no
- 1:24:45marks. Let this be on the Internet, but
- 1:24:49let this not be to the purple because they're going to start
- 1:24:51thinking things. But the whole point is is that
- 1:24:54if you pay attention to it, no physical.
- 1:24:56I've still got some injuries, but no physical stuff.
- 1:24:59But check this out right here. It says and they were both
- 1:25:04naked. The man and his wife, again,
- 1:25:09that title's there again, they don't say the woman.
- 1:25:13It says the man and his wife. Exactly.
- 1:25:16She's not just any woman no more.
- 1:25:19You see what I'm saying? And we're not ashamed.
- 1:25:22The reason being because when you and your girl start having
- 1:25:25that relationship, that kingship, you are vulnerable.
- 1:25:29When you open up your mouth and say I need help, that's what
- 1:25:34she's done for help. She's all out me.
- 1:25:39It says in the words she's that helped me.
- 1:25:42When you sit with her, when you got a chance to know her, when
- 1:25:45she's there for you through the hard times, she's there for you
- 1:25:48through the good times. She moved bend no boat, no
- 1:25:51bunch. She never changed.
- 1:25:53Well, that's God and her because God don't change.
- 1:25:57He is what he was, is and is to come.
- 1:26:01So if she was consistent with you then you could open up your
- 1:26:05mouth and say ah well babe, I've been going through this, I've
- 1:26:10been needing that. I've been feeling like this,
- 1:26:12what you think about such and such and y'all got conversation.
- 1:26:17So now she noticed you won't change, which keeps her glued to
- 1:26:21you because you weren't what you was and is and is to come.
- 1:26:25So there's God in you because you don't change neither but yet
- 1:26:30y'all move and sink like 2 coins in a pond.
- 1:26:34That's the whole point. She's there to help you.
- 1:26:37The reason why you're vulnerable is because you need the help.
- 1:26:41She covers you, you cover her, but if you don't open up your
- 1:26:45mouth or you constantly stuck in your own hair space sticking you
- 1:26:48alone all the damn time, how you going to help her?
- 1:26:52How's she going to help you? You're pushing her away.
- 1:26:55So then everything in the physical just falls apart
- 1:26:58because you didn't spiritually connect when God gave you the
- 1:27:01opportunity to connect. That's the part.
- 1:27:06So the declaration was false. So here's what God said.
- 1:27:10OK, I did all that. They were, you know, man and his
- 1:27:14wife were naked and unashamed. They were vulnerable and
- 1:27:18unashamed because that's where naked is.
- 1:27:19Do you see what I'm saying? But check this out.
- 1:27:23Let's go into chapter 3 real quick.
- 1:27:24What's the first sentence? The first sentence that says is
- 1:27:29Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field
- 1:27:34which the Lord God had made. Oh, wait, hold on.
- 1:27:38God made the serpent. The spirit of the devil went
- 1:27:43inside the serpent, but God made the serpent to be what it is.
- 1:27:48Here's the catch. Are you ready for this?
- 1:27:51Joe declared that he loved God all his days of his life he
- 1:27:55would never been no fold, no falter.
- 1:27:57And what was the devil doing in front of God while he was just
- 1:28:00blessing the world? The devil came up walking back
- 1:28:03and forth and God said what are you doing?
- 1:28:06The devil says I'm just going to and fro see who you may throw
- 1:28:10next at me so that I may devour or kill right.
- 1:28:15And God says, have you considered my champion Joe?
- 1:28:20Wait, have you considered wait, God loves us but wait, he tested
- 1:28:26that Joe because he had everything going for everything
- 1:28:30was good for him and Joe was like woo out the Bam and the
- 1:28:32devil said I bet y'all can make a curse your life.
- 1:28:37And he was like, we're going ahead.
- 1:28:38You do whatever you want to do to my servant job.
- 1:28:40Make sure you don't take his life.
- 1:28:42Ain't that a test? You just just can't touch.
- 1:28:44Him, you just don't kill him. Just don't kill him, right?
- 1:28:47Well, Adam made that declaration and said I shall be, she shall
- 1:28:51be woman of blah, blah, blah blah.
- 1:28:53OK you just made a vow and that's where God said OK well I
- 1:28:59just made the serpent and throw him in the garden and see what
- 1:29:02happens. Says Adam says she's flush of
- 1:29:05his flesh and bone of his bone and you don't.
- 1:29:08I did the work and made her Olivia being for him.
- 1:29:13That's OK son, I want to see if you can pass this test.
- 1:29:16Show me what to God show you that you got.
- 1:29:20Well I guess he didn't have much because he wasn't even there.
- 1:29:24Then he ended up being caught in a position because he wasn't
- 1:29:30connected. Adam wasn't connected to her.
- 1:29:33Once again, spirit of my spirit. When we are married, we are
- 1:29:37spirit to spirit. So if by chance.
- 1:29:43There you go. So if by chance Adam was
- 1:29:45connected to her, he would have caught that adult hell.
- 1:29:48Don't suffer. What you doing?
- 1:29:49Yeah, because the serpent never came about when Adam and God was
- 1:29:53just there alone. He dare not touch that.
- 1:29:56Why not? Because he already knew he was
- 1:29:58connected with God. He couldn't break that, but he
- 1:30:01could go for the woman because you declared all of this.
- 1:30:04So the enemy was already under orders by God to go on ahead and
- 1:30:09just slide right over here. Let's see what Adam do.
- 1:30:12Adam paid non attention. He was just getting enticed,
- 1:30:16enticed, enticed, enticed and Adam was just I'm tilling the
- 1:30:20land, the tilling the land. I got my wife from tilling the
- 1:30:22land. I'm telling the land, I'm
- 1:30:23telling the land. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:30:25It was almost, it kind of makes me think about that, that song
- 1:30:29and Lion King, the sun, the sun, the squashed bananas sunk the
- 1:30:32sun, the squashed bananas sunk the sun, the squashed banana,
- 1:30:35right? And it made me think about what
- 1:30:37he was doing the whole time. He was in his own headspace.
- 1:30:40He wasn't speaking out. He wasn't vulnerable.
- 1:30:43He kept his all his wisdom to himself.
- 1:30:45And now here's where it comes down to it.
- 1:30:47You look at chapter 3, when you look down after the serpent is
- 1:30:50talking to this woman, he realized that the woman didn't
- 1:30:53know clearly the instruction of what God really said, right?
- 1:30:57Because she made the mistake and said it wrong.
- 1:31:00So that lets you know what Adam was supposed to do.
- 1:31:03Adam was supposed to teach her, show her, lead her to God, show
- 1:31:08her how to navigate the garden so you don't have to think about
- 1:31:11that tree over there in the corner.
- 1:31:13Cultivate her. Yeah, You didn't cultivate a
- 1:31:17thing. You cultivated the wrong thing.
- 1:31:19You cultivated the the ground, you didn't cultivate her.
- 1:31:24And the whole point is when you see that right here it goes
- 1:31:27right here, But the fruit of the tree fruit, we're going to talk
- 1:31:32about that word fruit. There's the fruit of the Spirit.
- 1:31:34OK, wait, we got 9 fruits of the Spirit.
- 1:31:38I got this in my notes, right? We keep talking about that.
- 1:31:40We keep coming back to why is that a thing?
- 1:31:42Why is that a thing? Right, right, right.
- 1:31:44Because it's not elements of the fruit.
- 1:31:47It's nine elements of the fruit. And every single time we talk
- 1:31:51about these nine elements of the fruit, we want to go to it in
- 1:31:56understanding. Remember I told you it was a 9
- 1:31:57by 9 by 9 and they're all In Sync, right?
- 1:32:01So I'm flipping back to that because I should have had that
- 1:32:04on here in the 1st place. We got Lovejoy, peace, love,
- 1:32:08suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness and
- 1:32:11self-control self. Control.
- 1:32:15I'm going to set everybody down with this word fruit because
- 1:32:18it's short for Fruitish Son FRUIT ION.
- 1:32:26Do you know what fruition means? By definition?
- 1:32:29Fruition means a realization of a concept or a plan.
- 1:32:37So when you got the fruit of the spirit inside you, the fruit, I
- 1:32:45have come to the concept and the realization of love.
- 1:32:48I have come to the concept and the realization of joy.
- 1:32:51I have come to the concept and the realization of peace.
- 1:32:54I have realized the concept of and the realization of
- 1:32:57long-suffering. I have come to the realization
- 1:33:00of the concept and plan of kindness.
- 1:33:03I have come to the concept and realization of the of the plan
- 1:33:07of goodness. I have come to the concept and
- 1:33:10realization and the plan of faithfulness.
- 1:33:12I have come to the concept and the realization of faithfulness.
- 1:33:16I have come to the concept and the realization of the plan of
- 1:33:20self-control, which means you know how to manage yourself now
- 1:33:24because you opened up your eyes to see how to be able to do it.
- 1:33:29And therefore now you have embodied, embodied, empowered,
- 1:33:34the fruit of the Spirit, You're fruition.
- 1:33:38So let's go back to Genesis when we talk about this fruit, the
- 1:33:41fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
- 1:33:47He took her the fruit, but she was tempted.
- 1:33:49Why was she tempted? Wow.
- 1:33:53If we go down to this right here where it says so, when the woman
- 1:33:56saw that the tree was good for food while she'd be eating off
- 1:33:59every tree in the garden this whole time aimlessly, that
- 1:34:04didn't bother. That wasn't that wasn't the
- 1:34:05bite. That was just the.
- 1:34:07Oh, well, that still just looks delicious.
- 1:34:09But she's been eating everything else, so it's delicious.
- 1:34:13Yeah. But that's not the bite, though.
- 1:34:15Then it's comma. Wait, that's one comma.
- 1:34:18That comma means a lot that it was pleasant to the eyes, where
- 1:34:22the whole garden was beautiful to Eve, even the serpent.
- 1:34:28So that wasn't it. That's not what made a bite.
- 1:34:32What made a bite? And this is where Adam messed up
- 1:34:34at. And this is how we know where he
- 1:34:36messed up at. And in tree desirable to make
- 1:34:42one wise. Notice that one is in italics.
- 1:34:46The reason why it's in italics because it's talking about her.
- 1:34:50She wasn't wise. She had all the knowledge on her
- 1:34:52garden but didn't have no wisdom.
- 1:34:54She heard some word about but he, Adam, was supposed to give
- 1:34:57her the wisdom behind it. Why do you not touch the fruit
- 1:35:01of the tree? What does it mean to really die
- 1:35:03if you eat of it? What did he really mean?
- 1:35:05She wasn't explaining anything. So the service said I could
- 1:35:08create my own scenario because what she desires is to be wise.
- 1:35:13She was seeking the wisdom. The wisdom.
- 1:35:17That's why I later on in Proverbs, it's described as a
- 1:35:21woman wisdom because that's what she didn't have that she was
- 1:35:26asking Adam the whole entire time, could you please help?
- 1:35:29Let me help you. Please help me help you.
- 1:35:34Has she had the wisdom? We would still be in the garden
- 1:35:37today, and man and woman would probably be a different form,
- 1:35:43would probably already be in our glorified bodies or whatever
- 1:35:45that would have been. But we wouldn't have a need for
- 1:35:47sin. We wouldn't have a need for the
- 1:35:50sin because the sin would have never had a chance to creep in.
- 1:35:54See, Adam held on to his wisdom because he was learning.
- 1:35:57That emotion, that emotional death.
- 1:36:00Exactly. So what happened was when you
- 1:36:03look at that, we look at that man.
- 1:36:07My apostle said it the other night too, when he was writing.
- 1:36:10He said when a man say something, it is what it is.
- 1:36:15It comes out, you can't take it back.
- 1:36:18A man that takes his word back is not a man Meaning whatever
- 1:36:24you say, you make sure when it goes forth, it goes forth.
- 1:36:27A king, when he says something, it goes forth.
- 1:36:30That's why he's always quiet all the time.
- 1:36:33You see what I'm saying? Because he's connecting with the
- 1:36:35Lord to know what to say or when.
- 1:36:37Not the same, right? So I always look at my apostle
- 1:36:41every time I see him in church and I'm like, why is he always
- 1:36:43quiet? He just seemed to me, why is he
- 1:36:45always like this? No, he's not actually.
- 1:36:49He's very much vigilant with his work.
- 1:36:51He's very much connected with God because that's the only time
- 1:36:55that you could connect with God. When you shut up talking, you
- 1:37:00see what I'm saying. So with that in the mindset of
- 1:37:03understanding, but he says when you say what you say, that's why
- 1:37:06it says you make your yes, be yes and make your note be not
- 1:37:09right. Because once you say something,
- 1:37:13it's declared. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:37:16That's why we're not supposed to boast about tomorrow, but we're
- 1:37:18supposed to say, I'll see you tomorrow with God Willy, if God
- 1:37:23Willy, you giving him the reverence right there.
- 1:37:26And what we go back to the word that you used earlier with the
- 1:37:29HONOR, the honor and the reverence of God, something that
- 1:37:36Adam didn't do in the beginning. And that's why the natural man
- 1:37:38was faulted. And that's the reason why Jesus
- 1:37:42had to come around and clean it. Clean it up.
- 1:37:46He had to come back around, but it took a minute because, you
- 1:37:49know, he had to go through the bloodline.
- 1:37:50He had to figure it out. God had to do his plans.
- 1:37:52He had to make things happen. Things are still going on.
- 1:37:55People have been praying for the future.
- 1:37:56People have been praying for things in the past.
- 1:37:58He had to sort all that up and line it up correctly so he could
- 1:38:01jump right in the Mary and come with Jesus in the body, in the
- 1:38:04flesh, and correct what Adam gave on.
- 1:38:06Yeah. That's a lot.
- 1:38:11Bro, when I say this stuff makes sense, it actually makes sense.
- 1:38:15Men need to stop holding to themselves.
- 1:38:19Giving your strength to women is not giving your wisdom to her.
- 1:38:22Giving your strength to women is actually giving your emotions,
- 1:38:27your physical strength, and all of the stuff that you think that
- 1:38:32you are supposed to carry within you that makes you who you are,
- 1:38:35which actually is actually folly.
- 1:38:38That's why Samson tell, because Samson was the strongest in the
- 1:38:42world. He had a secret.
- 1:38:43It was his long hair. So, yeah, God said, I'm going to
- 1:38:47see how strong he really is. Let me send Delilah after you
- 1:38:50real quick. See how that goes.
- 1:38:53Oh, Elijah. OK, you you got confident.
- 1:38:55You kind of you, you bringing down angels and brimstone.
- 1:38:58OK. And bring fire.
- 1:38:59OK. All right, let's see what
- 1:39:01happens when Jezebel gets mad and he takes you into the caves.
- 1:39:04And what did God do? God came back around and said,
- 1:39:07why are you here? Do you see what I'm saying?
- 1:39:10Because it was that concept. Whenever man makes the mistake,
- 1:39:16God has to make the mistake. And then he comes and say, Hey
- 1:39:20buddy, you done yet? Why are you here?
- 1:39:25What art thou, Adam, after all of that took place?
- 1:39:29He ate at the fruit. He was already done.
- 1:39:32He made all the mistakes. We already know what he did
- 1:39:34next. He hid, He lied, He blamed the
- 1:39:37woman. We can go through that over and
- 1:39:38over again. We can go through the other five
- 1:39:40mistakes. But all of that is to say, Adam,
- 1:39:45where God finally came to see if he passed the test, Where art
- 1:39:49thou? And that's where man has to sit
- 1:39:52up and start paying attention to that because we don't want to
- 1:39:56hold ourselves accountable when we brought that girl's heart.
- 1:39:58We don't want to hold ourselves accountable because she, we
- 1:40:01didn't tell her how we felt or we didn't talk to her because we
- 1:40:05felt like she wasn't vulnerable, that we didn't trust her enough
- 1:40:09to be that vulnerable around her.
- 1:40:10What if that's the case? You should have never slept with
- 1:40:12her to begin with. We.
- 1:40:14Got to go all the way back and clean it up.
- 1:40:17Let's clean it up. Let's start cracking heads, men.
- 1:40:20When are you going to start leading with your mind and the
- 1:40:22guy, the inside of you and in the spirit of your masculinity
- 1:40:26and stop sitting here trying to be that little boy in high
- 1:40:30school? That ain't your masculinity,
- 1:40:32that's your ego. That ain't your spirit.
- 1:40:36That ain't the Beatitudes. No, right.
- 1:40:38And, and so, and I appreciate you man for, for today's
- 1:40:41message, man, I want to acknowledge you for that.
- 1:40:43So far we got a few more minutes left, but it's there's some
- 1:40:52after we get the word right, we get the word that I know for me,
- 1:41:02I'm only speak for myself. I, I was, I was ready and
- 1:41:09willing to look in my life. Some people aren't willing.
- 1:41:15They they're willing, but because of the what you're
- 1:41:18talking about, because of the pain, because of the past,
- 1:41:21because of the corrupted thoughts in the process and what
- 1:41:24we make it mean about ourself and not having that spiritual
- 1:41:28like most most of us that grew up in church, most of us.
- 1:41:36Grew up in church, so those. Seeds are planted.
- 1:41:39You can say that right? Those seeds are planted.
- 1:41:42I care, but most people care. I.
- 1:41:47I I, I know I wasn't. I, I was.
- 1:41:51But at some point you get exposed to church.
- 1:41:54How about we say it that. Oh, OK.
- 1:41:56At some point, yeah. At some point you get.
- 1:41:58Something gets introduced. Yeah, you get introduced.
- 1:42:01Right. So to me, that's.
- 1:42:03AC whatever those, whatever those seeds that you heard that
- 1:42:06had you like, Oh God, like whatever that was, I guess, not
- 1:42:11that I guess, but at what point for us as a as a mailman and and
- 1:42:22why does it have to sometimes be near death?
- 1:42:26Before we figure it out. Before we figure it exactly
- 1:42:29like. Like like.
- 1:42:31Like what is that? Because if, if we no one makes
- 1:42:33no. Difference.
- 1:42:34We know a lot of stuff. Right.
- 1:42:35So I we know, we know, we know, we know what we're doing.
- 1:42:38We know. But.
- 1:42:38No one makes no difference. Without the application and the
- 1:42:41concepts and the understanding and the right.
- 1:42:44So there's a space. Well, the reason there is a
- 1:42:47space there because yeah, the gap is there for one reason.
- 1:42:52I got one for you. A lot of us went to church, and
- 1:42:55I was brought up in church. But how many of us was brought
- 1:42:57up around our father? Whoops.
- 1:43:03I'm 46. I'm just now becoming whole.
- 1:43:08My daddy died last year. Yeah, I'm 4646 years on this
- 1:43:15earth and I'm just now becoming whole.
- 1:43:20Not healed whole. I'm I'm with, I'm 56 and my dad
- 1:43:24died seven years ago. That's.
- 1:43:26Seven years ago become. Whole.
- 1:43:29Now The thing is, is that when you look at that, the reason why
- 1:43:32me and you can relate and have this conversation and me and
- 1:43:35you've been on point since day one of me coming onto your show
- 1:43:38is because both of us had daddies in our lives.
- 1:43:41Regardless if there were pains in the butts, regardless if they
- 1:43:45were, they were there. They were there.
- 1:43:49Yes, so it goes. It goes back to the commandment
- 1:43:52with the promise though, that you can have long life to honor
- 1:43:55your. Father, if you honor the mother,
- 1:43:56Father and mother, but guess it does go back to that.
- 1:43:59But like I said, blood is stick in the water, Spirit is stick in
- 1:44:01the blood. So are we going to honor the
- 1:44:03blood Father, or we're going to honor the spiritual Father?
- 1:44:06But that's what. I but.
- 1:44:08But but I but for myself, though, when I look back at
- 1:44:11that, I was like, well, no wonder, how can I honor my
- 1:44:14Heavenly Father when I got a problem with my earthly father?
- 1:44:16It ain't. It ain't going to connect.
- 1:44:19Yeah, I see you had a problem with your earthly father, but
- 1:44:21there was a point in your life when you saw that that conflict
- 1:44:25was eliminated and you had a connection with your father.
- 1:44:30And I had a fucking life ever since 1 years old.
- 1:44:33Ever since 1 years old. The true story was my mom was
- 1:44:37dating my dad before he became my dad, OK?
- 1:44:41He would come over to my Mama house late at night.
- 1:44:43And I remember because we was on the top floor.
- 1:44:45And I remember myself doing this so I know what my daddy was
- 1:44:47talking about, he said. And this is how being him
- 1:44:50connected. I'm 1 1/2 two.
- 1:44:54I like him, but I'm not going to tell him I like him.
- 1:44:57When he's about to leave, I start crying.
- 1:45:00But then I would do one thing to make sure he don't leave.
- 1:45:03I know they're about to kiss each other goodnight.
- 1:45:05I throw the bottle down the stairs.
- 1:45:06Boom boom boom. He goes down the stairs and gets
- 1:45:08it. I throw it back down the stairs
- 1:45:10again. He ain't leaving.
- 1:45:13That's my idea of keeping him around He.
- 1:45:15Ain't leaving. At one years old, that was in
- 1:45:171981. At one years old, that is the
- 1:45:23connection that I had with my dad, right?
- 1:45:27And that's not even my blood father.
- 1:45:29That is the spiritual father right there earthly, but that's
- 1:45:33still my spiritual dad. But I know I could trust him.
- 1:45:37So I kept throwing the bottle because if I could trust him, I
- 1:45:40don't want him around. Nobody else.
- 1:45:41Whoop boppa bam, whoop boppa bam.
- 1:45:43And then as I got older, 5 or 6, I'm banging on the door 5:00 AM
- 1:45:48in the morning. Tell us.
- 1:45:49So where we going daddy? Where we I never said Mama
- 1:45:51anywhere in my life on my conversation.
- 1:45:53Where we going dad? Where we going, Dad?
- 1:45:56Every single time. And the whole place is I got
- 1:45:59older. I had my knockouts and drag outs
- 1:46:01and my daddy understood me. There was times we had conflict,
- 1:46:05but my daddy put me on the hood of that Chevy at 16 years old
- 1:46:08because I was so pissed off. I got jumped by three-game
- 1:46:10beggars and they didn't do nothing to me.
- 1:46:12I was really mad. I wasn't even grateful.
- 1:46:14I was just mad. So yeah, he slammed down.
- 1:46:18He slammed me on the hood three times.
- 1:46:19And on that third time he put me on the hood of that Chevy and
- 1:46:22put a dent in it with my back. And he said, boy, do you
- 1:46:25understand me? And I was like, I had to honor
- 1:46:28and reverence who he is. Why?
- 1:46:29Because we have that connection. He knows.
- 1:46:33I know when my son done did something and when he ain't done
- 1:46:35something. There was a time when my dad had
- 1:46:38part of the ways when we understood each other in part of
- 1:46:40the ways. My step Mama called me three
- 1:46:42years later. So I was like, come home, come
- 1:46:44home. But I was like, I ain't going
- 1:46:47home. I don't need to.
- 1:46:48I was struck my feathers. At the time I was 24 to 27 years
- 1:46:52old. I was doing my own thing when my
- 1:46:54dad said I ain't gotta call him because I know he alright the
- 1:46:58minute he called me then I know he in trouble, right?
- 1:47:01That was a connection. So when this happens to the fact
- 1:47:06that he drops, your dad dropped at 585049.
- 1:47:11You was 49, I was 39. Yeah, your dad dropped.
- 1:47:15But that's because God said now that you understand who I am on
- 1:47:20earth, let me take that away so you can understand who I am in
- 1:47:23heaven. Yeah, and he left you with that
- 1:47:26to say I don't even know what you was talking about.
- 1:47:29I'm lost without myself. That's the grievance.
- 1:47:32The grievance is the fact that you're missing something there
- 1:47:35now. But what do we have in order to
- 1:47:37replace CDC? That goes through whether it's
- 1:47:39grievance, sorrow, pain, rage, disappointment, rejection, it
- 1:47:43doesn't matter. The word is always consistent
- 1:47:45with all the answers. So when you locked in, that's
- 1:47:50how you started coming up out of it.
- 1:47:51Then what happened? Yeah, I know who I am now.
- 1:47:55I know. Oh, wait, now I got a podcast.
- 1:47:57Oh, wait, wait, wait. Oh, wow.
- 1:47:58I got blessed with. So.
- 1:47:59Oh. What?
- 1:47:59What? OK.
- 1:48:01Thank you. God.
- 1:48:01Do you see what I'm saying? The same thing with me.
- 1:48:05I now got the joy of myself that I didn't have.
- 1:48:08I was going to church for a long time, angry as hell, resent
- 1:48:11going crazy. Like I was really mad at angry
- 1:48:14at people because I was missing something.
- 1:48:16And I was always feeling like I was less than.
- 1:48:20And people would start to try to take advantage of that until I
- 1:48:22started remembering. Wait a minute, Mufasa Simba,
- 1:48:30look hard. That's my reflection in the
- 1:48:34water. No, look hard.
- 1:48:36And then he saw his father within himself.
- 1:48:41There it is. So when I started realizing I
- 1:48:43was like, why am I trying to appease the masses when I'm
- 1:48:46walking in my own? All I got to do is honor to show
- 1:48:48myself and be myself and be my dream yourself.
- 1:48:51Be the loving of God, show the Beatitudes and stand up.
- 1:48:55So let me go on ahead and do that and stop playing around
- 1:48:58like I gotta appease everybody in the church.
- 1:49:00That's that little boy running around.
- 1:49:03So I started coming out of my grievance and started coming to
- 1:49:05my identity or who Baylor says Armstrong raised.
- 1:49:10He raised me to take anything from no one.
- 1:49:12He didn't raise me to bend over and take it.
- 1:49:15He raised me to stand up and fight because He raised me as a
- 1:49:17warrior as so he was one. So the whole point is when you
- 1:49:21start seeing everything yourself.
- 1:49:23Now I gotta learn how to use those qualities and combine them
- 1:49:25with God's qualities. See, God gave you a earthly
- 1:49:28father for a reason. He didn't give it to you so he
- 1:49:30could just sit back and watch you stumble, though.
- 1:49:33He gave you a earthly father so he could guide you to Him.
- 1:49:36Yep. As a child.
- 1:49:39My dad. When I looked at my dad's life,
- 1:49:41I was like, this dude taught me how to live a sinless life.
- 1:49:46Finless, he gave it all of God. He prayed and I'm like, Oh my
- 1:49:53gosh, Oh my gosh, my dad taught me how to live a sin.
- 1:49:59He was an example of how to live a sinless life.
- 1:50:01Sinless. Yes, and with my sinless exactly
- 1:50:05notice what you said, not saying nonexisting, not saying at all.
- 1:50:12Say less less, and as you get more mature, the less you see.
- 1:50:27Along with adding that to know that the older you get the more
- 1:50:30maturity, the more mature you get spiritually the less you
- 1:50:33sin. Mine was you got everything to
- 1:50:36live for. This is what my daddy taught me.
- 1:50:38But what are you going to live by?
- 1:50:43The principle What do? You What are we going to live
- 1:50:47by? Let's go back to the word that
- 1:50:49sums all that up and it starts with an M and it ends with AL
- 1:50:52and it's called moral. And that word is the definition
- 1:50:57of God. Look it up, go to Google, I
- 1:51:01don't care. You will find it.
- 1:51:02It says He is the source of all moral authority.
- 1:51:09So your morality is what the word is about.
- 1:51:14What is the morality in the word about your attitude, your
- 1:51:17personality, everything. Your attitude more than your
- 1:51:21personality because your personality is just who you are.
- 1:51:23Like I'm, I'm kind of loud. I'm kind of amped up and I'm
- 1:51:26fired up because that's not my personality.
- 1:51:29But the the attitude is. I'm giving you valor right now.
- 1:51:33I'm giving you encouragement. I'm trying to empower us as men
- 1:51:37to stand on our Thrones correctly.
- 1:51:41And I will wait until the next session.
- 1:51:43Yeah. So I'm leaving it with this part
- 1:51:45right here, OK? OK, go ahead.
- 1:51:47Whatever you declare, God is going to test you on.
- 1:51:59That's why. Our Whatever you pray about.
- 1:52:01That's why our words are important, our language is
- 1:52:04important, how we think, all that's important, what comes out
- 1:52:07of our mouth. Whatever you pray about, God's
- 1:52:12still going to touch you on. Oh.
- 1:52:14Yeah. Because you asking for
- 1:52:16something, he's going to prepare it for you, but he's going to
- 1:52:19test to make sure you can handle it correctly before you get it
- 1:52:22in your hands. If you can't handle the prayer
- 1:52:24for what you prayed for, if you can't handle the stuff that he's
- 1:52:27already giving you, how you going to be able to handle what
- 1:52:29you prayed for? Because everything he's going to
- 1:52:32give you is the level that builds up to the prayer that you
- 1:52:34asked the blessing. So if you can't handle $1000,
- 1:52:39what makes you think he's going to make you a millionaire?
- 1:52:44So let's leave it. Let's leave it there, man.
- 1:52:47There you go. I'm going to leave it there
- 1:52:48because there's another part of that on the next episode.
- 1:52:52We cover We cover Genesis 2. 2GO into 3. 2 going into 3 Adam, bro
- 1:53:00Adam, where are you? That's been my segment on my on
- 1:53:03my other show on KC radio for a while now.
- 1:53:05We've been peeling off them laser what it is to be a male
- 1:53:07man and a female woman and and that led us back to Adam like
- 1:53:11Adam, where are you and all the stuff that went through as you
- 1:53:14pointed to in the fall, but also chapter 2.
- 1:53:16We got to look and see what led up to the fall and what was
- 1:53:19going on in that conversation with God.
- 1:53:21That's. Why it's called a fall man.
- 1:53:24There you go that thank you for today bro.
- 1:53:25I appreciate you man. Last words to the people.
- 1:53:28What do you want to say to the to the men man?
- 1:53:31I want to tell the men right now, at this moment in time, if
- 1:53:34you are truly a man of God and you are a real God fearing man.
- 1:53:39I'm not talking to the thugs who are off in the world.
- 1:53:42I'm not talking to the gang bangers, the drug dealers.
- 1:53:45I'm not talking to those that just have a wickedness in their
- 1:53:47heart and they don't have a heart or conscience.
- 1:53:49And I'm not even talking to those.
- 1:53:52I'm talking to those. Even if you are a gang banger or
- 1:53:55a dildo or whatever you are, you do got a conscience and God been
- 1:53:58knocking at your door. I'm talking to you too.
- 1:54:01You claim to be hard. You claim that you are this that
- 1:54:05goes from the pulpit to the street.
- 1:54:08Whatever you say that you are, I recommend talent.
- 1:54:14I dare you stop covering up yourself, standing your
- 1:54:23spiritual boldness, accept responsibility and take
- 1:54:27accountability for how you treated the gift that God gave
- 1:54:32you, which is the woman that's probably by your side right now.
- 1:54:36You don't have to say I'm sorry. Stop saying I'm sorry.
- 1:54:40We already don't heard that from the dude who's saying I'm sorry
- 1:54:44for 2004. We're done singing.
- 1:54:46Sorry for every single year. To shut down a woman's scoring
- 1:54:51is real simple. Hold yourself accountable
- 1:54:54because you did something. Stop acting like you innocent.
- 1:54:59Yeah, you did something. So whatever you did, whether you
- 1:55:02cheated, whether you probably slapped her the first time, it
- 1:55:05didn't mean to. Whatever be the case, you gotta
- 1:55:07hold yourself accountable. That means accept the
- 1:55:10consequences. When you give her her closure,
- 1:55:15you say, hey, look, this ain't working.
- 1:55:16I'm sorry for what I did. But you know what?
- 1:55:19I did it and I accept full accountability.
- 1:55:22So while you out there with Joan Bug, I respect that and I'm
- 1:55:25about to move on with my life. That's how you hold account
- 1:55:28yourself accountable. So be who you are.
- 1:55:31You say you hard, you all it is you say you all right, you
- 1:55:35talking, you jumping all over everything.
- 1:55:38Be hard with the consequences too.
- 1:55:39And accept it because that's what I had to do.
- 1:55:42It took me a minute. Like I said I'm 46 I learned at
- 1:55:4618 and 19 and 20 where I destroyed many relationships on
- 1:55:49my own self sabotage. But I understand now.
- 1:55:54So the next one I know what not to do and I always put God
- 1:55:58first. That's how you put God first.
- 1:56:00Hold yourself accountable to the men.
- 1:56:03Do so, Ariana, man. Thank you, man.
- 1:56:05I appreciate you for today's conversation, man.
- 1:56:09Ladies and gentlemen, we appreciate the tune.
