- 0:58Speaker 3: April took a little while, didn't you.
- 1:01Speaker 7: Know?
- 1:02Speaker 1: February and January, February, March, they they sprinted by April.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You know why? The terror slowed all our lives down
- 1:12Speaker 1: at me and the bargain, I was in there asking
- 1:14Speaker 1: Arby's for the three for one special. I'd better stop playing.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I want, you know, eat the whole sandwich. Don't just
- 1:23Speaker 1: waste find a way to refry them fries. It just
- 1:27Speaker 1: wasn't me. Y'all were out there too.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I was in the.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Publics with the Bible one get one free. Let's be real,
- 1:34Speaker 1: or it dropped, it's swinging a little bit back up.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But we're gonna play hardball. We're gonna play hard ball.
- 1:42Speaker 1: But the slow month of April is over and we
- 1:46Speaker 1: have bounced into May. And since we have talked to
- 1:51Speaker 1: you on this sports shocque show, y'all got Sanders.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Items.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I don't know that a man needed to be talked
- 2:02Speaker 1: about as much as should doer Sander Jesus in the
- 2:10Speaker 1: last seven days last week right here on this show,
- 2:13Speaker 1: we we we talked about the draft. And then you
- 2:18Speaker 1: people out there with your conspiracy the conspiracy theories are
- 2:24Speaker 1: the most interesting people to me. You swing low, sweet chariot.
- 2:30Speaker 1: People take something and go back to eighteen oh one.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Look over Jordan would see.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I mean, with one swing of the pendulum to carry me,
- 2:44Speaker 1: we're getting off the Mayflower with you people. And then
- 2:50Speaker 1: maybe want to I want you to understand the explanation.
- 2:53Speaker 3: No, I don't know.
- 2:54Speaker 1: How we got back there. I don't know how you
- 2:57Speaker 1: rationalize that eight of the first ten picks were of
- 3:02Speaker 1: the same hue. But we still slave as slaves, putting
- 3:11Speaker 1: us in our place out use it, use it. You
- 3:14Speaker 1: was just looking at they that got drafted. They completed
- 3:18Speaker 1: no coverage. All I was left with was cam Ward
- 3:24Speaker 1: of the Miami and Hurricanes was the first pick.
- 3:28Speaker 3: That's that.
- 3:28Speaker 1: After about three days, all I could respond because none
- 3:34Speaker 1: of you wanted to talk about You wanted to talk about.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Collusion and slavery and plantations. I've been on football teams.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Just want to let y'all know, I've never been in slavery,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but I've been on a football team. Is more slavery
- 3:59Speaker 1: for you people in high school, in pro ball, it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: a whole bunch of whatever. H slaving what they used
- 4:07Speaker 1: to call the foreman on this on the plantation. What's
- 4:09Speaker 1: what's the uh form?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Over Yeah?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Whatever? Oversea? Go on now, No, I'm not doing that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm not doing that either. Yeah, your regular abolition. What
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm about to do is go get back in this
- 4:24Speaker 1: hot tub because the hamstrings a little tight, little and
- 4:28Speaker 1: uh maybe Friday, yeah, I know, maybe Friday commands you'll
- 4:34Speaker 1: get back out here.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Maybe I need you.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It might be Sunday. It could be like Sunday at
- 4:40Speaker 1: eleven thirty. I'll let you know if I'm going to
- 4:43Speaker 1: feel all right to do this, So I don't think
- 4:46Speaker 1: I don't really picture that in eighteen o one.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Hey boy, that you're gonna have to call my agent.
- 4:56Speaker 1: My agent said, but gentlemen, is it What was your
- 5:00Speaker 1: world like the last seven days in dealing with this
- 5:04Speaker 1: shoulder Sanders situation?
- 5:06Speaker 3: What started with you commande? Uh?
- 5:09Speaker 8: Everyone thought they had the answer on why he fell
- 5:14Speaker 8: for rounds in the draft that and I didn't feel
- 5:18Speaker 8: like anybody was right. It was just everyone felt like
- 5:21Speaker 8: they had the right answer. And like you said, they're
- 5:24Speaker 8: talking about, you know, collusion, And there were some Colin
- 5:27Speaker 8: Kaepernick comparisons like this is not even close to the
- 5:31Speaker 8: same thing. So who's, by the way, still getting ready?
- 5:37Speaker 8: Yeah he's yeah, he's still working out every day. He's
- 5:40Speaker 8: worked still working out every day to get back in.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Ain't just like fifth year at the gym.
- 5:48Speaker 8: But everyone thought they had the right answer, like, oh,
- 5:52Speaker 8: it's because of this, or if someone said, well, you know,
- 5:56Speaker 8: they they didn't want the distraction and then people kind
- 6:00Speaker 8: of ran with that, or well he's really not that good,
- 6:03Speaker 8: y'all should just see that he's not that good. I
- 6:06Speaker 8: don't know where that came from. You, So people just
- 6:09Speaker 8: like threw something out there and said it loud enough
- 6:13Speaker 8: where people would like agree with him and think they
- 6:16Speaker 8: were right.
- 6:16Speaker 3: But I didn't. I don't.
- 6:17Speaker 8: I don't know what the real answer is. I still
- 6:20Speaker 8: I I still don't. Maybe they just maybe teams just
- 6:27Speaker 8: didn't want that distraction. I mean, that would be the
- 6:29Speaker 8: closest I would think is the right answer, Big Kenny.
- 6:32Speaker 8: What was going on in the Kenneth world?
- 6:36Speaker 6: Sanders my range of emotions based on the information that
- 6:40Speaker 6: I was getting because I purposely tried to steer clear
- 6:44Speaker 6: of the talk. But they went from on draft night,
- 6:47Speaker 6: oh my, to wait a minute, to hell now to
- 6:56Speaker 6: who cares anymore? Bruh. That's that was my whole range
- 6:59Speaker 6: of it went. I never expected him to go five.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I actually kind of figured he wouldn't go in the
- 7:05Speaker 6: first round based on what he said he wanted to
- 7:10Speaker 6: do and who needed him. Once he said he wasn't
- 7:13Speaker 6: going where he was needed, you probably gonna end up
- 7:17Speaker 6: in the second round, which it happened. Then I never
- 7:22Speaker 6: expected him fault as far as five. But once it did,
- 7:26Speaker 6: everybody came out again with the see this is the
- 7:29Speaker 6: humbling of the and we can't be this and we
- 7:31Speaker 6: can't be that.
- 7:32Speaker 3: And after a while it became and so now what
- 7:35Speaker 3: I mean?
- 7:36Speaker 6: So I mean, if the man is coming down on
- 7:39Speaker 6: shr door, what we're gonna do about it?
- 7:40Speaker 3: Are you gonna keep on supporting the man?
- 7:42Speaker 6: And you go, I'm just tired of hearing about your
- 7:44Speaker 6: complain about the problem. If there is a problem, let's
- 7:48Speaker 6: move to solutions oriented conversation. But just this whole, I
- 7:55Speaker 6: can't believe this, and comparing the college stats we're talking
- 7:58Speaker 6: about the NFL now.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Out so bad. You were down in Texas at the
- 8:03Speaker 1: Sanator's house. I think you were DJing the party, right, Man,
- 8:06Speaker 1: how did everything go?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Tell us tell us you should do it?
- 8:10Speaker 6: Did they did they give you your check? Or did
- 8:12Speaker 6: they tell you you're gonna have to hold on for.
- 8:16Speaker 9: Man, it was a lot the people I was around
- 8:20Speaker 9: and were talking to, from collusion to butt breaking. I
- 8:23Speaker 9: heard to the point I even said, this is my thing.
- 8:29Speaker 9: I'm like when he didn't go the first round, I said,
- 8:32Speaker 9: maybe Dion told him pull the lebron and say, hey,
- 8:35Speaker 9: don't nobody put him the first round. We need to
- 8:37Speaker 9: humble him. And everybody said, man, you sound stupid. The
- 8:40Speaker 9: would never say something, So I left that theory alone.
- 8:43Speaker 9: That likedon was behind. I'm not getting picked in the
- 8:46Speaker 9: first round, but it was. It was shocking to me.
- 8:50Speaker 9: I'm about like Kenny. After the third round, I was like, man,
- 8:54Speaker 9: I don't know what's going on, but I sent you
- 8:57Speaker 9: a text. You know what I said. So I'm just like,
- 9:02Speaker 9: I'm still shot. I have a question fifth round though,
- 9:05Speaker 9: I'm really shocked. Now I'm saying I can get the
- 9:09Speaker 9: shocked in the fifth.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Round thing, just just because nobody expected it to go
- 9:12Speaker 6: that far. The people who know know, and if you
- 9:15Speaker 6: you know. But when we talk about the buck breaking thing,
- 9:20Speaker 6: first ten pick.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, what is buck breaking to something?
- 9:26Speaker 3: And I don't even know what that means.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Buck breaking is for the people who said that there's
- 9:31Speaker 6: a conspiracy theory and this is purposeful, it is buck
- 9:35Speaker 6: breaking is a process where they would take the strongest,
- 9:38Speaker 6: most formidable, aggressive slave male and aggressively break his spirit
- 9:47Speaker 6: or harm him in front of the rest, because if
- 9:50Speaker 6: we can harm the strongest of you, then surely the
- 9:53Speaker 6: rest of you have no chance.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But the strongest of them was Travis Hunter.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Wait now, wait now, And this is what I'm saying.
- 10:00Speaker 6: They're saying that they did this to put quote unquote
- 10:03Speaker 6: put a black man in his place. So what about
- 10:06Speaker 6: the wait, wait, wait now to show that black men
- 10:11Speaker 6: aren't supposed to be confident in black I'm speaking, sir,
- 10:14Speaker 6: that black men aren't supposed to be confident and black
- 10:16Speaker 6: men aren't supposed to be raising their sons to talk.
- 10:20Speaker 3: So what's the difference between should do or being black?
- 10:23Speaker 6: And Travis and all these other black men that what
- 10:28Speaker 6: are they?
- 10:28Speaker 3: What are they? How?
- 10:30Speaker 6: How dare you disrespect the black men who earned their
- 10:33Speaker 6: draft positions? You because because they're they're more complacent, they've
- 10:39Speaker 6: learned to it because being humbled and they're playing the game.
- 10:43Speaker 6: And so you just saying cam warts athletic ability didn't
- 10:47Speaker 6: get him drafted first.
- 10:49Speaker 3: His athletic ability I didn't count. What I'm saying is
- 10:53Speaker 3: his humility.
- 10:54Speaker 9: Yeah, It's just like it was basically to the point
- 10:57Speaker 9: that because of how much confident us and Chaudore's ego
- 11:02Speaker 9: and how he answered questions handled himself at the combine,
- 11:05Speaker 9: they felt like everybody felt.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Like they tried to Chador was better than cam Moore.
- 11:10Speaker 6: They well, statistically, was Chadour better than cam Ward?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Yes? Or no? I'm talking about the butt the partner.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I am too. We'll be this is out the whole week. Now,
- 11:24Speaker 3: what about.
- 11:27Speaker 1: You?
- 11:27Speaker 3: Still I went to Southern and she's.
- 11:31Speaker 10: Taking nigga picks before she leading though, I'll be waking
- 11:35Speaker 10: up the picks before still on it and every weekend
- 11:38Speaker 10: Shorty coming over, Shorty the yelp and she like freshing over.

- 14:47Speaker 3: Right on straight doctor Bull Questions.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Welcome back to this spoy Shock Show, The spy Shock
- 15:11Speaker 1: Wayne Againdy, Good morning to you out there in listening land.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Already in that first segment, you can tell a lot
- 15:19Speaker 1: of emotion, a lot of chatter, a lot of people
- 15:23Speaker 1: wing in on this last draft to the point that
- 15:30Speaker 1: most people don't even recognize the gentleman who got drafted.
- 15:39Speaker 1: It became really and what it probably will end up
- 15:43Speaker 1: on a Dion Sanders prime video special. Uh, the Shadour
- 15:49Speaker 1: draft will probably be the head of title. That's all
- 15:54Speaker 1: people know. They probably don't even know who their first
- 15:59Speaker 1: round second around Pixar as much as they know that
- 16:03Speaker 1: Cherdoor Sanders didn't get drafted where some people thought he
- 16:12Speaker 1: should a lot of factors. We're not gonna stay on
- 16:16Speaker 1: it too long. We gotta get around to the falcons
- 16:18Speaker 1: and the print call. But a lot of tentacles to
- 16:22Speaker 1: this guy's bick. Kenny Comander, Greg Babodoos all in the
- 16:26Speaker 1: studio with me from the standpoint of we live in
- 16:30Speaker 1: a world where fame washes a lot of negative and
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stay in the pool pit long.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Take your time, passed, So take your time.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Fame in our society more than any time in my lifetime.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Well washes a lot of negativity. Mer that you can
- 17:02Speaker 1: be create so much and I'm talking about created, not
- 17:08Speaker 1: find a solution for cancer and somebody recognize your name.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You can just.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Create fame to the point I don't know whether what
- 17:17Speaker 1: you were doing was real or fake. You just wanted
- 17:24Speaker 1: to create the fame of it, and you would take
- 17:28Speaker 1: the hit of lying and imagining in it so you
- 17:33Speaker 1: can be famous.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yeah, fame outweighs money.
- 17:40Speaker 1: In today's society, people will rather be famous than rich
- 17:44Speaker 1: than rich.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Mercy.
- 17:46Speaker 1: The rich is not cool with just being rich without
- 17:52Speaker 1: the fame and famous. They all want to be Donald Trump.
- 17:58Speaker 1: That's why Donald Trump is one of the most recognizable
- 18:01Speaker 1: people that we know. He was one of the first
- 18:04Speaker 1: few people with a lot of money that was okay
- 18:06Speaker 1: telling you he had a lot of money.
- 18:10Speaker 3: And didn't make it play in sports or acting.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So when you talk about the Dion Sander's, the Chaduur sand,
- 18:16Speaker 1: there's a Shiloh sand, There's a Travis Hunter. This whole
- 18:18Speaker 1: wave that went through Jackson State. It made you see
- 18:22Speaker 1: it made you think that Dion won the Black National Championship,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but he never did. But the fame of it makes
- 18:30Speaker 1: you think the fame that he rolled over to Colorado.
- 18:34Speaker 1: It made you think they did more winning than they
- 18:37Speaker 1: have done. The fame intoxicated them so much that they
- 18:44Speaker 1: broke protocol and went to retiring people jerseys in a
- 18:48Speaker 1: manner that has never been really seen. And now you
- 18:56Speaker 1: retired your son's number, who did not when the Heisman
- 19:01Speaker 1: the only person we know when we go to college,
- 19:03Speaker 1: we'll get his name up there. There's two ways to
- 19:07Speaker 1: quickly get your name on a stadium. You win the
- 19:12Speaker 1: Heisman Trophy, not the other awards that might take a
- 19:15Speaker 1: couple of years. You can win to thorpe out him.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You'll be fifty by the time they finally say something.
- 19:21Speaker 1: But if you win the Heisman, they start saving and
- 19:24Speaker 1: chipping away at your statue right now. But you put
- 19:31Speaker 1: chadur up on this. All these factors the NFL is
- 19:35Speaker 1: watching for the last two and a half three months. Secondly,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and this is the part where I'm answering command you
- 19:48Speaker 1: Greg when he talks about why Shadre Sanders and cam
- 19:52Speaker 1: Ward our third round talent.
- 19:58Speaker 3: That means that.
- 20:01Speaker 1: When the scouts do their reports, if we were just
- 20:05Speaker 1: going on pure talent, they were not first round talents?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Can they become Hall of famers?
- 20:17Speaker 3: Sure? Do you get drafted in the first round when
- 20:21Speaker 3: you don't have first round talent? Yes. Most of the
- 20:27Speaker 3: success you have, most of the wealth you can build
- 20:30Speaker 3: is through supply and demand.
- 20:34Speaker 1: If you want to blame somebody, why blame Justin Fields
- 20:38Speaker 1: and the rest of these guys. What's the guy that
- 20:41Speaker 1: is at Minnesota, that was at the Jets and all
- 20:43Speaker 1: them guys that are all those guys that failed in
- 20:48Speaker 1: the last six seven years where they supposed to plant
- 20:50Speaker 1: pan out open the door to desperation. So the Titans
- 20:56Speaker 1: who have drafted four or five, we'll leve it.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And then they got the other guy they drafted Mariota.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Mariota, the other guy before after him that was real
- 21:06Speaker 1: Willis or something like that, Malik Willis. All these people
- 21:10Speaker 1: been drafted that they thought and they still right back
- 21:13Speaker 1: to the first pick of the draft. So we start
- 21:17Speaker 1: with this idea and all those Shenanigans what they did,
- 21:23Speaker 1: Dion and Schador telling people, we don't want you to
- 21:26Speaker 1: draft us and we're not going to do this. That's
- 21:30Speaker 1: why the second and third round didn't come true. So
- 21:35Speaker 1: when he missed his window, of the two or three
- 21:40Speaker 1: teams that could draft him in the first round. And
- 21:45Speaker 1: I explained this last week even with myself. I told
- 21:51Speaker 1: you that Tampa Bay needed a tackle. When I got out,
- 21:54Speaker 1: came out, they were at five. I knew I wasn't
- 21:59Speaker 1: going six through thirteen. So once five left, I went
- 22:06Speaker 1: for a walk up the street. Somebody ran up and
- 22:10Speaker 1: said they're on pick fourteen, and I came back because six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve,
- 22:18Speaker 1: thirteen were not going to draft or tackle. That's just
- 22:21Speaker 1: not what they were gonna do. They didn't need one.
- 22:25Speaker 1: That's how the draft still works today, supplying to man
- 22:29Speaker 1: and they don't.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Owe you anything. So someone like a Cleveland is sitting there.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Like man, I don't think nobody gonna get this guy. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 1: so why pay him? Why pay him forty when I
- 22:45Speaker 1: can risk around and pay him thirty? And why pay
- 22:48Speaker 1: him thirty when I can risk around and pay him twenty?
- 22:50Speaker 1: And why risks? Why pay him twenty with him getting
- 22:54Speaker 1: dollars when I can get him just to come through
- 22:57Speaker 1: the dock.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And he was still there in the fifth Hello, Hello
- 23:03Speaker 3: fix it, Jesus. Hello.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Now I think Shaduer has the moxie I think he
- 23:09Speaker 1: has a lot of things that he can be a
- 23:12Speaker 1: starting quarterback and shine. I don't have any bias to
- 23:17Speaker 1: want the young man to fail. I'm pulling so much
- 23:19Speaker 1: for his brother and he was he didn't even get drafted.
- 23:21Speaker 1: But I would love Shallow because he's one of them guys.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I feel like that goes through the cracks that you
- 23:27Speaker 1: just got to get him on the field.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, yeah, some.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Guys are just feel My great friend Tony Richardson, he
- 23:38Speaker 1: was my full back at Auburn, had the same feeling
- 23:41Speaker 1: with him. He went undrafted, went free agency practice squad
- 23:45Speaker 1: to Dallas and went on to put on a fifteen
- 23:48Speaker 1: year career. So it's not that he can't. But some
- 23:51Speaker 1: people you just have to get on the field. It's
- 23:54Speaker 1: not about whether they can jump up and touch the
- 23:56Speaker 1: roof that kind of stuff. They just have a football.
- 24:00Speaker 1: It's about him. But we'll come back. We'll talk about
- 24:02Speaker 1: the print called that bad producer put in and the
- 24:07Speaker 1: money that is cast. The Falcons. The Falcons for a team,
- 24:10Speaker 1: they are colorful teen You know, last about two years
- 24:13Speaker 1: ago they was pumping noise in the stadium.
- 24:15Speaker 6: I can't go tell you now though, and I want
- 24:17Speaker 6: y'all to understand going hold on, let us go, let
- 24:24Speaker 6: us go.
- 24:25Speaker 3: She said, can she take a picture with my chin?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Got your twins? Sisters call him ying Yan God.
- 24:32Speaker 6: I wish I wouldn't have signed Alexander McQueen on me
- 24:36Speaker 6: ain't got.
- 24:37Speaker 7: A don't go Awayne Born of the Sports, John Hill
- 24:41Speaker 7: with Wayne Gambia's coming up next.
- 24:44Speaker 17: Oh that's buzzed.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 24:50Speaker 18: And now a speech.
- 24:52Speaker 19: I just want to say that friendship is about heart
- 24:55Speaker 19: art and ray who's with me?
- 24:58Speaker 12: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and.
- 25:00Speaker 20: My brain is saying, when it's time to go home,
- 25:03Speaker 20: somebody call me a ride.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Love that guy, me too, know your buzzed warning signs,
- 25:08Speaker 2: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Buzz driving is drunk driving.
- 25:11Speaker 12: A message from NITZA and the Ad Council Lena Bloom
- 25:15Speaker 12: for the Bail Project.
- 25:16Speaker 21: Imagine you're stuck in a jail cell and you can't
- 25:19Speaker 21: afford bell and someone offers you a way out. Just
- 25:22Speaker 21: plead guilty and you can go home and kiss your
- 25:25Speaker 21: kids good night.
- 25:26Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 25:27Speaker 21: What thousands have you plead guilty whether you are or not.

- 26:49Speaker 3: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy in
- 26:55Speaker 3: the Red zo.
- 27:14Speaker 6: I like that it.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Welcome back to this Sport Shock Show. I'm this Sport
- 27:24Speaker 1: Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there and
- 27:27Speaker 1: listening land. We are talking about the the phenomenon of
- 27:32Speaker 1: the Chador Sanders draft that took place from last Thursday,
- 27:38Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday. Chador ending up being picked number one
- 27:42Speaker 1: forty four on Saturday. Also to give you a little
- 27:47Speaker 1: inside information too for you out that is wondering for scouts,
- 27:51Speaker 1: scouts watch a lot of tight frame, meaning that you're
- 27:57Speaker 1: waging what you see on a game versus what a
- 28:02Speaker 1: scout only watches what we call type frame. Like when
- 28:07Speaker 1: we go to practice, we don't watch our scout a
- 28:10Speaker 1: team from the TV broadcast of the last game. There's
- 28:16Speaker 1: no sound, we don't hit the crowd. Cheering is tight
- 28:24Speaker 1: so when you evaluating talent, so you'll know that's how
- 28:29Speaker 1: you're looking in a tight frame, which means that even
- 28:33Speaker 1: though the play might have been successful. They're still noting
- 28:38Speaker 1: what the quarterback did wrong on the play. They're not
- 28:43Speaker 1: just going by the end result that he got out
- 28:46Speaker 1: of nine tackles and flipped the ball. They're going that
- 28:50Speaker 1: he never got to his drop, or he had the
- 28:53Speaker 1: ball low, or he didn't see the read he was
- 28:57Speaker 1: supposed to hit, so did this and then he they're
- 29:01Speaker 1: going on that. So when you're trying to you're caught
- 29:04Speaker 1: up in the glips and glamor and the Johnny Manzel thing.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Well that's not Actually, if you watch the game with me,
- 29:11Speaker 1: you're sometime hear me mumble that, man, well that's not
- 29:14Speaker 1: not an actual play. Right, it worked, and God to
- 29:18Speaker 1: the glory, but that's not football play with Yeah, didn't
- 29:23Speaker 1: do that and didn't do this and then.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Fling the ball.
- 29:26Speaker 6: They're not gonna call that. They're not gonna call that.
- 29:29Speaker 6: And like the playoffs, they'll never call that play. Just
- 29:33Speaker 6: something that worked today.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But one of the last things before we move on
- 29:37Speaker 1: with the Lakers being ousted out of the playoffs is, uh,
- 29:41Speaker 1: the there was a prank call that was received by
- 29:49Speaker 1: Shader Sanders. Since then, the NFL has stepped in. They
- 29:54Speaker 1: have fined the Falcons they have fined the Falcons two
- 30:00Speaker 1: hundred and fifty grand. They find these defensive coordinator Jeff
- 30:05Speaker 1: Ubrick one hundred thousand dollars. The story goes that Ubric's son,
- 30:13Speaker 1: some kind of way was able to get the number
- 30:19Speaker 1: from his father notes or phone or book that maybe
- 30:24Speaker 1: was in the office. And this is where I start
- 30:27Speaker 1: splitting hairs of I'm not gonna hold DC Jeff Ubric
- 30:37Speaker 1: accountable for his son's actions in my opinion. Oh see,
- 30:42Speaker 1: that's buck breaking. That's buck breaking, because you would have
- 30:49Speaker 1: to show me where this is something he engaged in.
- 30:53Speaker 1: If his son illegally, and when I say illegally, I
- 30:58Speaker 1: mean pop's left is just like we have children, Yes,
- 31:05Speaker 1: go into the different things and sports phone or computer
- 31:09Speaker 1: and you write down something that you wasn't supposed to
- 31:15Speaker 1: and then bring me into trouble. I'm only part of it.
- 31:19Speaker 1: If I helped you out, I told you to do it.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Sounds like his son decided he wanted to be what
- 31:29Speaker 1: was the guy that you told the show, the tall
- 31:32Speaker 1: guy Ashton and do uh pumped and pumped somebody and
- 31:39Speaker 1: when illegally. Now his dad is doing what the fathers
- 31:43Speaker 1: do parents do and taking the bullet but from what
- 31:47Speaker 1: it reads, he was not aware that his son had
- 31:51Speaker 1: the number. And this is the thing sports is there
- 31:56Speaker 1: another version?
- 31:58Speaker 3: Not only.
- 32:01Speaker 6: No, I'm saying that there are people who are calling
- 32:04Speaker 6: for him to be fired, saying that somehow he was
- 32:06Speaker 6: neglectful and allowing his son and make they make it
- 32:10Speaker 6: sound like they conspired to do this. The story that
- 32:15Speaker 6: the son and the father told was the son showed
- 32:17Speaker 6: up at the house unannounced. This is an adult child,
- 32:20Speaker 6: he doesn't live in the host twenty one. Yes, he
- 32:22Speaker 6: showed up to visit his parents. His father had his
- 32:26Speaker 6: iPad open with the draft information on it and wasn't
- 32:30Speaker 6: in the office with it.
- 32:32Speaker 3: He had gone to do something else.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Son shows up, goes to the office, Dad, ain't there,
- 32:38Speaker 6: Oh what's this? The iPad look shador Sanders numbers and
- 32:41Speaker 6: gets that number and people alleged probably some more numbers
- 32:47Speaker 6: as well. But that's what he did with them. And
- 32:51Speaker 6: now they want Jeff fired. They think that the Falcons
- 32:55Speaker 6: ought to change the rules and regulations because he was
- 32:59Speaker 6: a neglect for with personal information and like he was
- 33:03Speaker 6: just sitting at the kitchen table passing the iPad around.
- 33:07Speaker 6: And I think it's unfair too because his son is
- 33:11Speaker 6: an adult first of all, so and should be accountable
- 33:15Speaker 6: for his own actions. But to put that turn of
- 33:19Speaker 6: events into some sort of intentional, willful, deliberate act is just.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Emotional.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you would have to show me where Ullbrick wasn't
- 33:31Speaker 1: supposed to take the iPad home or something like that.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah where he what part? Did he play? Other thing?
- 33:38Speaker 1: And he was being a good coach, went home and
- 33:40Speaker 1: was working. His son comes up, he gets oh, he
- 33:44Speaker 1: gets up to be part of the family. I didn't
- 33:47Speaker 1: know I needed to. Ford knocks my house. It's no difference.
- 33:51Speaker 1: He come home with his playbook and go to sleep,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and he wakes up his wife has ran a copy off?
- 33:57Speaker 3: Is that his fault?
- 33:58Speaker 15: Like?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Where is you don't downloaded to the jets. Now you're
- 34:04Speaker 1: sitting there like, I don't understand that. Like you said,
- 34:07Speaker 1: adult male uninvited basically commits a crime against me in
- 34:14Speaker 1: a sense.
- 34:16Speaker 9: But you would you would think though, as a high
- 34:18Speaker 9: profile job as you have, because you you know, most
- 34:21Speaker 9: lawyers don't have cases. How you know I'm talking right now,
- 34:26Speaker 9: let me finish. Most lawyers or doctors don't have records out.
- 34:32Speaker 9: You know, it's a hippo and I'm not taking up
- 34:35Speaker 9: for you, bro or saying he should be fired. I'm
- 34:37Speaker 9: just upset that we finally do something good and then
- 34:40Speaker 9: it goes away.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Let me ask you one question, follow up what you're saying.
- 34:44Speaker 1: So when your daughters come home, you pack your stuff up.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Near nothing my stuff, my stuff is yes.
- 34:54Speaker 1: So if your daughter comes home today in the office working,
- 34:57Speaker 1: I'm telling me you close the computer her locked.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Locked password, lock it.
- 35:05Speaker 9: Oh it's locked in thirty seconds, it go lock all that.
- 35:09Speaker 9: I got all my stuff to lock in thirty seconds.
- 35:12Speaker 9: If I'm away from it at more than thirty seconds,
- 35:15Speaker 9: you should have your And.
- 35:16Speaker 1: If she's got the cold, to all that that you're
- 35:18Speaker 1: talking about.
- 35:19Speaker 3: The ain't gonna have the cold.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Listen, and now you're talking fantasy of what you know
- 35:24Speaker 1: they don't have, and you don't know what they have.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Just like lawyers don't have this.
- 35:28Speaker 1: When your wife rolled over and called somebody from your phone,
- 35:33Speaker 1: you didn't know she had the cold to it. You
- 35:37Speaker 1: didn't know she was over the eavesdropping to get it.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And then when she looked called like, hey, your wife
- 35:45Speaker 1: called me, you sat there with that same face right there.
- 35:48Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying.
- 35:49Speaker 6: You talking about doctors don't have You're talking about doctors
- 35:52Speaker 6: don't have cases. I know I have doctors in my family, sir.
- 35:56Speaker 6: I know lawyers who are friends lawyer those cases at home.
- 36:02Speaker 6: They take that work home with them. How do they
- 36:04Speaker 6: prepare lawyers? Ain't no nine to five job. They got paralegals.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Most time, the lawyers, the para legals do the.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Work and those people taking the work home. Okay, somebody does.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Somebody takes the word five. Most people don't go to
- 36:20Speaker 3: the office. I don't understand. That's what I've gotta go
- 36:22Speaker 3: back in a campaign to get people.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Most people are working from home, and when they take
- 36:29Speaker 6: those breaks, those breaks are short, and so they leave
- 36:33Speaker 6: those screens open on uh what do they call it
- 36:36Speaker 6: sleep mode? Or it times out after a while. And
- 36:41Speaker 6: this man got caught thirty seven.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I wouldn't expect, whether my daughter had my colde or not,
- 36:47Speaker 1: that she would go in my phone and do that
- 36:49Speaker 1: and take my phone number.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I would not expect that it would take.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Me a month probably to figure out how to even
- 36:57Speaker 1: address her. That's how blown away I wouldn't know even
- 37:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't even go right into conversation about it with her.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Because I would be so, what the what the are
- 37:09Speaker 6: you serious right now.
- 37:11Speaker 1: That that's how you saw me? So no, I wouldn't
- 37:17Speaker 1: get up if she came home and I was sitting
- 37:19Speaker 1: in there working like this, unless it was some kind
- 37:22Speaker 1: of CIA message that told me then. But something as
- 37:27Speaker 1: casual as I was in there working on the draft.
- 37:31Speaker 1: You come home and as you say you about to
- 37:34Speaker 1: go to your room, you decide to stop in the
- 37:36Speaker 1: office and get you some numbers.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Sports, Chod and Twitter.
- 37:41Speaker 6: What I'm saying is I've written television shows that before
- 37:44Speaker 6: they came out, I was doing the copy that gets
- 37:48Speaker 6: out it ruins the show.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I've left the computer.
- 37:52Speaker 6: Up because ain't no who's really are you really disseminating
- 37:56Speaker 6: this information? Nobody's expecting their child to do that, So
- 38:00Speaker 6: to hold the parent responsible seems emotional to me.
- 38:04Speaker 3: That's the only I'm holding Coach is responsible.
- 38:07Speaker 9: I think Coach I'm ready for Man, I'm just wanting
- 38:10Speaker 9: this is upset that we got in the middle of
- 38:11Speaker 9: all this.
- 38:12Speaker 6: Man, who the falcons? Yeah, somebody got the falcons.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Didn't get in the middle of this. I know we didn't,
- 38:20Speaker 3: but they're dragging the falcons.
- 38:22Speaker 9: This the falcons that just said, and we had we
- 38:25Speaker 9: had an a draft. I mean they did what I
- 38:27Speaker 9: asked for when you asked me Thursday you asked for.
- 38:29Speaker 3: They went and got the deepense. Yeah, well, I said
- 38:32Speaker 3: deepens man after two losses, won't even wear their shirt.
- 38:37Speaker 9: Which mean I wear all my headed black. Put up
- 38:43Speaker 9: the receipts, command you gret we.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Lost, take it in, take it every mixed seeing.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Courage on them to know exactly.

- 41:12Speaker 3: And now back to the sports Johnny Wing Yandy its
- 41:25Speaker 3: wings lockedown say you can see a sports jaint.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I'll sing even big Janny, welcome back to this boy
- 41:44Speaker 1: Shock show. I'm this boy Shock wing Gandy. Good morning
- 41:47Speaker 1: to you. During the break, we were trying to figure
- 41:49Speaker 1: out this prank calling a crime. I do know that
- 41:53Speaker 1: the running joke of one of the top shows basically
- 41:58Speaker 1: in history, one of the most long is running shows,
- 42:01Speaker 1: maybe the longest running shows, The Simpsons. They always at
- 42:04Speaker 1: that part where Bart Simpson would call the bar and
- 42:07Speaker 1: make a joke, is that a crime?
- 42:10Speaker 3: Now? Yeah? Can I need Sey more? Butts?
- 42:13Speaker 9: Can you get tell what we need to speak to?
- 42:15Speaker 9: That's what he would call and say, yeah, is that
- 42:18Speaker 9: a crime?
- 42:19Speaker 7: No?
- 42:19Speaker 3: No, it's not okay, So no crime was actually committed.
- 42:23Speaker 8: No crime on this Well, well, the the fine the
- 42:35Speaker 8: find comes from the contact information is considered sensitive information.
- 42:42Speaker 8: So with it getting into someone else's hands who's not
- 42:47Speaker 8: an executive or associated with an NFL team in that way,
- 42:50Speaker 8: that's what the fine is for. It's not for the
- 42:53Speaker 8: prank call, but because the print call happened, well how
- 42:55Speaker 8: to get the number, so it becomes it comes from
- 42:58Speaker 8: the release of sensitive information.
- 43:00Speaker 3: And that wouldn't have been an issue.
- 43:02Speaker 1: And I asked you that because it's funny that we
- 43:05Speaker 1: will from now on and have before reported on actual crime. Yes,
- 43:11Speaker 1: and people didn't get fined three hundred and fifty thousand
- 43:14Speaker 1: dollars and they actually did a crime. And let me
- 43:17Speaker 1: ask you think about that actual crime. Yes, and didn't
- 43:21Speaker 1: get a three hundred and fifty thousand dollars fine.
- 43:25Speaker 3: And now prank calling is not a crime.
- 43:28Speaker 9: Hold on, now we're saying in some states it is
- 43:32Speaker 9: illegal because it's the annoy or harassment.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Making a prank call can be illegal.
- 43:38Speaker 9: It could be illegal if it's intentionally annoyed, harassed, threatens,
- 43:43Speaker 9: or also illegal if it's amount of disorderly conduct or
- 43:47Speaker 9: obscene and to call nine one one is a crime, right.
- 43:50Speaker 6: And I was going to say before you preempted me, sir,
- 43:53Speaker 6: that when it becomes harassment, that's the criminal part. But
- 43:57Speaker 6: for it to become harassment, it has to be a
- 44:00Speaker 6: structured pattern of me calling.
- 44:02Speaker 3: But no, no, no, I'm saying. I'm saying a structured pattern.
- 44:07Speaker 6: I call you late at night, I call you at work,
- 44:10Speaker 6: I call you at times that disclose your game. It
- 44:14Speaker 6: can become a crime. Me calling you once does not
- 44:19Speaker 6: constitute a crime. This what happened with Shador Sanders did
- 44:24Speaker 6: not constitute a crime. They talk about it was sensitive information.
- 44:28Speaker 6: We live in a world where your racial sensibilities get
- 44:32Speaker 6: offended and you will out somebody on Facebook. You will
- 44:36Speaker 6: find their address, you will find their place of work,
- 44:40Speaker 6: and you will put it out in public and tell
- 44:43Speaker 6: people to cancel them and call their job and stop
- 44:46Speaker 6: by their house. And that should be a crime, but
- 44:49Speaker 6: they don't say so. And now, because your racial sensibilities
- 44:53Speaker 6: have been hurt because your door Sanders got prank call
- 44:56Speaker 6: and he was so garbage he went in the fifth round.
- 44:59Speaker 3: You want some body arrested with State of California.
- 45:02Speaker 9: State of California, you can't make prank calls in the
- 45:05Speaker 9: state of California, mistermeanor regardless if it's once or twice.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Okay, so I'm sorry. I mean that. Some people say that,
- 45:15Speaker 3: and that's why they made Google so you can feel
- 45:17Speaker 3: like you're a lawyer.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Now.
- 45:18Speaker 3: No, no, no, I'm just I'm looking at the lawyer.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Then when you get the court and you present that
- 45:22Speaker 1: to the judge and the judge tell you, well, that's
- 45:24Speaker 1: no longer valid.
- 45:26Speaker 3: You're one of those Google believers. Everything you read on No,
- 45:28Speaker 3: this is not Google right here.
- 45:30Speaker 9: This is an actual lawyer, lawyer the same thing. This
- 45:36Speaker 9: ain't a jail house lawyer. These are real lawyers.
- 45:39Speaker 3: How do you know.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Might be paid ads, It could be somebody pranking you.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Ain't nobody pranking me. It happens every day day Google
- 45:51Speaker 2: on the Internet.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Know they graduated with you, and they have decided to
- 45:56Speaker 1: roll back the calendar of their date of birth. Yeah,
- 46:02Speaker 1: all of a sudden, they born in seventy six. You know,
- 46:06Speaker 1: we were born in the same hospital on the same night.
- 46:09Speaker 6: That was the story our whole childhood, were born in
- 46:12Speaker 6: the same hospital, saying, and now, all of a sudden,
- 46:13Speaker 6: you six years younger, than me.
- 46:16Speaker 3: So that right now we have we have a whole
- 46:21Speaker 3: I didn't meet you when you were fourteen.
- 46:23Speaker 1: We ate it.
- 46:24Speaker 6: We have a we have a whole TV show Catfish
- 46:27Speaker 6: about people who pretend to be other people.
- 46:30Speaker 1: A dude Carter of the Giants. There will speculation that
- 46:34Speaker 1: he may have been part of the print call as well,
- 46:38Speaker 1: but the vines have been levy not sure.
- 46:41Speaker 3: As I was letting some people know how much of
- 46:43Speaker 3: it could be. Coaches just like players, they have unions.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Oh, you never know when a fine can actually be
- 46:52Speaker 1: rescinded based on what the bylaws are. If you don't
- 46:56Speaker 1: remember that, go back to Adrian Peterson, go back to
- 47:00Speaker 1: Ray Rice. If y'all don't remember, you think they lost
- 47:05Speaker 1: all of that salary, they did not. Both of them
- 47:08Speaker 1: were couped a major part of their salary at the
- 47:12Speaker 1: end of the year. Because by the bylaws, the two
- 47:15Speaker 1: teams only had four games, they could actually suspend them.
- 47:21Speaker 1: By law, they could really only suspend Ray Rice for
- 47:24Speaker 1: four games, so they had to go back and pay
- 47:27Speaker 1: him for the other thirteen weeks. Now, that part got
- 47:31Speaker 1: put on the last page of the paper at the bottom,
- 47:35Speaker 1: and they made it seem like he had lost his.
- 47:37Speaker 3: As a collusion. Sir, I had a question. My question
- 47:42Speaker 3: is this okay?
- 47:43Speaker 6: So the defensive coordinator is that Ubric got fined one
- 47:48Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollars for not protecting sensitive information well enough
- 47:52Speaker 6: because his son got the information off his iPad? And
- 47:56Speaker 6: why did the Falcons get fired because Ubric don't control
- 47:59Speaker 6: his son well enough?
- 48:00Speaker 3: What what if we do? It's what they were saying.
- 48:04Speaker 9: It is supposed to be because of h He's an
- 48:06Speaker 9: employee of the Falcons and their security measures that are
- 48:10Speaker 9: in place.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And that phone was in that phone and that phone
- 48:14Speaker 3: was issued by the NFL. It wasn't. It wasn't his
- 48:17Speaker 3: own personal phone, right.
- 48:19Speaker 6: So no, I'm saying the phone was issued by the
- 48:21Speaker 6: NFL to an NFL franchise, that franchise under its.
- 48:25Speaker 9: No no, no, no, it was to the guys who
- 48:27Speaker 9: was supposed to be drafted, like every every player that
- 48:30Speaker 9: was particular the potential draft that got the NFL gave
- 48:34Speaker 9: them a phone and gave them a number.
- 48:36Speaker 3: Right, So his it wasn't like his cell phone number wasn't.
- 48:38Speaker 6: Okay, So Chador received a phone from the NFL. Yes,
- 48:44Speaker 6: but that number was gotten off of ubrics personally. But
- 48:48Speaker 6: it was given to all the coordinators. But they got
- 48:53Speaker 6: that number off his personal device. No, it is a
- 48:56Speaker 6: device just by the Falcons. Is owned by the Falcons.
- 48:58Speaker 6: The team device. Okay, now the team device was given
- 49:03Speaker 6: to the coach. But it's still time. You keep on
- 49:08Speaker 6: trying to explain things before I've asked the question. I'm
- 49:13Speaker 6: asking you. You work for the Sports Jock show. The
- 49:17Speaker 6: Sports Jock gave you a recorder to go to the
- 49:20Speaker 6: games and record stuff. You bring that back and while
- 49:24Speaker 6: we're playing your postgame interviews, we hear karaoke from somebody
- 49:31Speaker 6: who got your recorder and played it. And now the
- 49:34Speaker 6: sports Jock has to be fined because that karaoke song
- 49:39Speaker 6: wasn't licensed to be used on the show, is what
- 49:42Speaker 6: I'm saying.
- 49:43Speaker 3: He got fined for something you did. I'm asking how
- 49:47Speaker 3: did the.
- 49:47Speaker 6: Falcons get responsible for this boy going on his dad's phone.
- 49:51Speaker 3: You just answered your own question. Thank you, sir it
- 49:58Speaker 3: We'll be back more Sports.
- 49:59Speaker 25: Joh Then one Name Sproup, Some Brothers Still be Bornsupresnus

- 51:15Speaker 20: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs.
- 51:18Speaker 20: But it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 51:22Speaker 20: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 51:25Speaker 20: with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 51:28Speaker 20: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 51:33Speaker 20: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 51:36Speaker 20: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 51:38Speaker 20: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.

- 52:19Speaker 3: And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gandy.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Center Court on sports News gossip blah blah blah blaha.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Welcome back to this boy.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Shock shall have this boy Shock, Wayne Gandy, Big Kenny
- 52:51Speaker 1: comment you Greg bad producer in the Bill Ding and
- 52:54Speaker 1: Big Kenny a lot of passion on that uh subject
- 52:57Speaker 1: right there about Jeff ubric his son. And really this
- 53:01Speaker 1: is one of those cases why I say you stand
- 53:03Speaker 1: up in America because there be three people or three
- 53:09Speaker 1: incidents three issues away and still get held. Is an
- 53:15Speaker 1: American thing. Really, the only person that is wrong is
- 53:19Speaker 1: Jeff Ubrick's son. The Falcons, no, Jeff himself, no, But
- 53:27Speaker 1: in America we will trickle it down to make any
- 53:31Speaker 1: and all parties responsible for things that they have nothing
- 53:36Speaker 1: to do with. And I've said that tons of times
- 53:39Speaker 1: on the show. But that's an American thing. Where McDonald's
- 53:45Speaker 1: it's their fault that their cashier decided to jump over
- 53:53Speaker 1: and beat up her husband's wife ex husband. Well you
- 53:59Speaker 1: know wife. What I'm saying now, it's all of a
- 54:02Speaker 1: sudden it's McDonald's fault. Now, HI do anything. But that's
- 54:06Speaker 1: our country. That's our country where that can happen. And
- 54:11Speaker 1: that's the only reason the Falcons.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Have to come off an come up, that's a quarter
- 54:18Speaker 3: of a million dollars.
- 54:20Speaker 6: Body, Hubert, Then I can't even fire he didn't do
- 54:24Speaker 6: nothing wrong with What country is that that?
- 54:26Speaker 9: When if one family member still they cutting their other
- 54:29Speaker 9: family members hand.
- 54:30Speaker 3: They know no country, there's no country that does that.
- 54:33Speaker 9: The calf system of whatever want. Please, let's let's not
- 54:37Speaker 9: create theories of our own. No, that doesn't happen.
- 54:41Speaker 1: No, And and he would fight that it wouldn't happen
- 54:44Speaker 1: to him if he was in this case as well.
- 54:47Speaker 1: He just tries to be that antagonist of things because
- 54:50Speaker 1: it doesn't make any sense. You can do it, and
- 54:52Speaker 1: it's been done, it's being done, it's being done right now.
- 54:55Speaker 1: But it still does make no sense of you being
- 54:59Speaker 1: held as a company. You know, whatever company you work for,
- 55:04Speaker 1: a commandson, you work for Coca Cola. The Coca Cola
- 55:07Speaker 1: is responsible that you're a kid drinks pepsi. So they
- 55:14Speaker 1: find out your kid drinks pepsi, and now they find
- 55:17Speaker 1: coke and you it's too far. Where did he? Where
- 55:22Speaker 1: did he drink PEPs.
- 55:25Speaker 27: He went and bought his own pat and then brought
- 55:27Speaker 27: it to your house, put it in his mini fridge
- 55:31Speaker 27: in his room. And now they want to know how
- 55:34Speaker 27: did you get a hold of our intellectual property.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Another story that's hapening over the last couple of days
- 55:40Speaker 1: is Tyler Holland Burton, his father up in the face
- 55:45Speaker 1: of Jannis Andkupo. Long conversation. Again, it's inting the same
- 55:49Speaker 1: thing yesterday. Guys, gentlemen trying to tell me how this
- 55:54Speaker 1: case should be handled. They feel like the NBA should
- 55:57Speaker 1: find Tyler Holland Burton for his day as actions, should
- 56:02Speaker 1: rescind the seats. And I was like, where do you
- 56:05Speaker 1: get these ideas that everybody is responsible? I mean, it
- 56:12Speaker 1: was something where I was like, let me remove myself. Well,
- 56:15Speaker 1: I started using colorful language because I don't really like
- 56:18Speaker 1: to have conversation a lot. Greg command you with people
- 56:22Speaker 1: who they stay in that vein of thinking they're being
- 56:28Speaker 1: so righteous right and trying to explain things to me.
- 56:34Speaker 3: I have no clue. I'm not.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Responsible for the two people I decide to give my
- 56:42Speaker 1: seats to. If you throw them out, just like if
- 56:46Speaker 1: you threw me out of the game, you don't have
- 56:49Speaker 1: the right to go throw them out of the game,
- 56:51Speaker 1: and vice versa. Tyler Hydenburden's dad is responsible for himself, right,
- 57:00Speaker 1: I'm not responsible for them. And to get into that
- 57:05Speaker 1: you start breaking all kinds of I don't even know
- 57:07Speaker 1: if you can do that, because, first of all, people
- 57:10Speaker 1: sometimes I don't know y'all. Do know that athletes have unions,
- 57:13Speaker 1: right they do? Yes, we have unions just like any
- 57:17Speaker 1: other of y'all. We call it the NFLPA, they call
- 57:20Speaker 1: it the NBA PA. Like there's just so much you
- 57:23Speaker 1: can do. We have representation that limits your ability just
- 57:27Speaker 1: decide as your choosing how you want it to be.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But a dust up in the game as Indiana closed out,
- 57:36Speaker 1: Milwaukee found Tyler Hallen Burton's father in the face. I
- 57:40Speaker 1: don't know how he got so far out on the
- 57:42Speaker 1: court in his mind, he might have just drifted into
- 57:45Speaker 1: the face of Jannis and to Takoupo, Jannis was able
- 57:50Speaker 1: to keep his cool and nothing really physical happened. But
- 57:56Speaker 1: the dad and Tyrese have apologized and for the what
- 58:03Speaker 1: they call disrespect for a moment that was calls but
- 58:08Speaker 1: a lot of words about trying to find Tyler Tyrese,
- 58:13Speaker 1: excuse me for this incident.
- 58:16Speaker 8: Where it's come from. Is it's interesting now because I
- 58:20Speaker 8: hadn't read anything before. Is that other people have reports
- 58:25Speaker 8: or incidents of Haliburton's dad doing things like with talking
- 58:32Speaker 8: to agents or other players or other coaches, being.
- 58:38Speaker 3: This kind of person John Morant type dad.
- 58:43Speaker 8: No, not that, not even no, I mean John Morant's dad,
- 58:48Speaker 8: Like he may talk to players, but it's never on
- 58:50Speaker 8: this level. Like he's walked he walked out on the
- 58:53Speaker 8: court after the game, walked up to Gianni's and started
- 58:57Speaker 8: talking trash to him. He he may be a player's dad,
- 59:01Speaker 8: but he shouldn't have been on the court.
- 59:04Speaker 1: And this is one of the other reports of these
- 59:07Speaker 1: kind of aids, And that's one of the reasons that
- 59:09Speaker 1: the NBA especially has always really been against.
- 59:13Speaker 3: They don't have any policy policy that can prevent it.
- 59:19Speaker 1: But from the days of Mark Cuban through the days
- 59:22Speaker 1: of Kevin Durant's mother, even here in Atlanta with Al Hoffer,
- 59:29Speaker 1: his wife used to be very explosive on the sideline.
- 59:32Speaker 1: They really do not like players to purchase those seats.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Now now they're family members and friends, they rather them
- 59:41Speaker 1: really do something in the suites or use the tickets
- 59:44Speaker 1: that they typically give them, which puts them further up
- 59:47Speaker 1: in the stands, so you they they're not on close
- 59:51Speaker 1: to the floor to be able to be captured, even
- 59:55Speaker 1: acting in these.
- 59:56Speaker 6: Ways, because what happens. Tyrese Halliburton's dad over to me.
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: It's not my favorite thing to be confronted by people.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: I've had particularly tough evening, and your daddy catched the
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: two piece.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: It happens. I'm saying, my.
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: Hands get active, and before you know it, I run
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: my hands on your daddy, And now your daddy's sitting
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: there touched up, and we all got issues now. But
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: your father approached me in an aggressive way, and I
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: was defending myself.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: That's my stance.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: I was defending myself because he came up to me
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: and said, hey, you bleep, bleep bleep.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: I ought to.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: And I caught your dad, find you, Lil Kenny, and
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: my mama Milwaukee Bucks.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Oh okay, and my mama for having me and not
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: raising me right, Oh, get fined. But your daddy getting slapped,
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. Why don't they stop this before
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: somebody gets hurt?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Well, they don't really have any bylaws. I can't stop
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you from what you do with your money.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. True. We'll be back more than sports
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Stock show right after this. I did a trip with
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: a face man Boom. I washed my hand with the AJEX.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: I don't pay that. I don't pay that. I don't
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: pay that. I don't don't go away.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: Board of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne dam Videos
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: coming up next.
- 1:01:15Speaker 11: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:01:18Speaker 11: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:01:21Speaker 11: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:01:25Speaker 11: life insurance.
- 1:01:26Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:01:28Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind? What
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:01:36Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:01:37Speaker 19: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:01:39Speaker 19: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:01:41Speaker 19: the insurance informant.
- 1:01:43Speaker 11: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:01:46Speaker 11: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:01:48Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:51Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: The answer is easy.
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:01:56Speaker 11: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:01:58Speaker 11: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:02:01Speaker 11: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: or bills dot Com? That's benefits or bills dot com?
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: No share, and we hold the world ransom for excuse
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: me while I will this out.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Broadcasting live and at Lana to your chas. This is
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: the Sports Shot Show with Wingandy.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: You may.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Show that council con.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: Is it just.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I'm a I'm gonna go on the way you may
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Pill Vegan.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Work back to Sports Duck Show. I'm this what suck?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Wing Candy, Good morning to you. It is May one,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. It is Thursday.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: We are trying to close out this first round of
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: the NBA Playoffs.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Some teams have already closed up their series. I want
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to say Boston OKC be two of them, and then
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: last night the Minnesota Timberwolves able to close out the Lakers.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Now the story and the off season starts for Lebron
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: James with Luca Duncans being added to the team around
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the All Star break, a team that if anything, the Lakers,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Luca A not they never were able to get themselves
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: a junk our dog. They were never able to get
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: that junk player. When you look at their roster, it
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: was something to me they needed even if they never
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: got Luca, they needed that guy that really did wasn't
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: about scoring a Dennis Rodman type or Draymond Green, just
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: a blue collar I rebound, I block shots, I set picks.
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: They had that they had traded for that guy, the
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: Mark Williams trade that from Charlotte, and he they failed
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: him on so they had to send him back.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and that is true. Thank you for reminding me.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: They did try to get him, and that was the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: component more than Luca to me. Uh And when they
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: couldn't make that happen, they brought in Luca and they
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: went more with just an offensive attack. Yeah, that's all.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: When you look at the roster ad basically four small
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: forwards on the court. And when Woods was out there.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Kind of the guy is that his name, the kind
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: of center guy Hayes Jackson Hayes, Jackson Hayes out there
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: on the court, which has shown in his career to
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: be more like a strong guy off the bench. But
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: to me, that was when I watched Lakers. That's really
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: all it was.
- 1:05:25Speaker 12: It was.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: In this playoff series against the Timberwolves. Once they got
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: down two games, JJ Reddick rolled the dice and did
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: what some coaches we've seen and they had success where
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: he just was going to ride his top five six
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: players to get him out of that. He didn't feel
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: comfortable pulling Lebron r Luca kind of went against that
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: hole where he would start them, but then he would
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: rotate them to lead different groups of people. Once they
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: were down like two to one in the series, he
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: tried another tactic where he let them play long minutes.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: But to me, it just was that they ran against
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: the Timberwolve team who had equal not necessarily better players,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: but equal athletic When you look at Julius Randall and
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: ant Man and Rudy Gobert, they had guys that could
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: run with them, but they also with the Gobert component,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: had that presence that the Lakers just, yeah, it didn't have.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I know, you're a Laker guy, what did you see
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: a bad producer. It's just like I said, that roster's
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: very depleted and.
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: Just hopefully the off season they're gonna make some moves
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: out there to get something, man, we need look like
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: I said, we need.
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: A wait, wait wait, and let me ask you some
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: as a Lakers fan. You just said we're gonna make
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: some moves in the off season.
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: And we need I thought, that's what all of the
- 1:07:02Speaker 9: whole Luca secrets if you just heard that a main
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: piece was denied in the trade, just like years ago
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: when when a piece was denied by the NBA on
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: a trade.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: So it's happened several times to like I'm all I'm
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: trying to say, is this.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: We don't throw away a whole puzzle because it's missing
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: one piece. So in the off season you talked about
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: we need to make moves. We need to just go
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: get that dude healthy.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: What happened to him? He can't take the physical over.
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: I'm saying this seems like we want to scrap whatever
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: this project was. Is how you sound now, And that's
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: I think a lot of what happens with la is
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: it don't go that way. And that's why people go
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: to blaming Lebron for blowing things up and all of
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: this because a lot of their wisdom doesn't seem conventional.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: You seemed you.
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: Told us you had the team, you went and got
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: Luca and this was supposed to fix stuff. Now you
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: out of the playoffs and now we need to quote
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: unquote fix stuff. That's confusing to me as a basketball fan.
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: So I know it's got to confuse you as somebody
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: who's a fan of that franchise.
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: It's been confusing for a long a couple of years
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: what the Lakers have been doing. But as a Laker fan,
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: not just a player fan, but as a Laker fan,
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: you hope that the franchise would get back to being
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: who we are as far as Lakers and getting the
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: players in. Unfortunately, we didn't get the dude on the
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: from Charlotte. We didn't get him on the trade. It
- 1:08:35Speaker 9: was unfortunate situation that in which they didn't really have
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: a big man. That was the thing with well with
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: Anthony Davis. He didn't, like I said, he didn't want
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: to play center. He wants he's going to be the
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: power forward. He wasn't going to get in that battle
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: like the person that you would need to have the battle,
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: especially in the West, because in the West you gotta
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: have somebody that's willing to clog the middle and don't
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: have a problem with dealing with a Draymond Green down
- 1:08:58Speaker 9: the road or Orks or someone like that, or having
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: that type of attitude.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: Sports shockar Layer online listeners have some comments from this morning.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: We have from the top of the hour, we have
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: Uncle Charlie wanted to know. He said, he don't know
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: about what we were talking about. What should do it?
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: He said, but he does know that the Knicks and
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: the refs have given the Pistons confidence. So I guess
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: he's and I answered with hashtag collusion. And then Antoine
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: Lilly said that he believes that the coach should be
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: here responsible for not protecting the data. The Falcons were
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: not guilty, and then he just said the Lakers need
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: to go see the wizard.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Or some heart.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: They don't need trades, they need heart. Well, I can
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: agree with him on that part too. It's some, it's some,
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: it's some tough situation out there, man, But I had
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: to say, I appreciate how JJ Reddick coach at the end.
- 1:09:56Speaker 9: I appreciate how he went against what the norm was
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: and said, hey, you gonna you got I gotta go
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: with what I I.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: Didn't think it was panic.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: I thought it was a little bit of panic, like no,
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: instead of leading instead of taking my two special weapons
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: and separating them and let them leading some more effective
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: weapons and rotating them out. I'm gonna just exhaust them. No,
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: they won't have enough less the whole second half, Yeah,
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: the whole I'm gonna just.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Let them, you know, just go out there. I hope
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: you got enough in the tank.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Well you can call it panic, but it also sometimes
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: if it works, it's strategy. Yeah, So it's just based
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: on whether it worked or not. Right, and he couldn't
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: afford there was nothing that was going on. I don't
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: think you blow this team up. I think you can talk.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Try to talk Lebron to coming back. You got just
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: what you need. You need to go around the league.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You don't even need a superstar. So that thing where
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: he's talking about your honest, that's not what you need.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: I didn't. I don't think so either. You need someone
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: that is mobile, can run with these guys.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: That is a ten to twelve point tip in tip
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: the ball in kind of that old javel Javel McGee
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: type guy.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: Just when you thought that dude had a layup, he
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: comes in and blocks out there.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: So Lebron doesn't ever have to find himself trying to
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: play the four or the five that at this point
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: in his career, if he's gonna play a year or two,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: he's either running point forward or he's the three man.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: But these units where you're having him and you're looking
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: for him to be Carl Malone type power forward or
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: take on the center.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Anthony Davis didn't want to play center because he felt
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: like he was a better off the ball defender. He's
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: the guy that once the guy makes the move, he
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: can slide over and block the shot. And he didn't
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: want to catch early because you're counting on me to score. Yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: so I don't want to get a lot of early file.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: He was open and honest about that going into this season.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: But you still tried to Yeah, but you and you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: tried to still put this man in a position that
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: he didn't want to be in.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: So who you think as a player that's out there,
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: that's something that the Lakers could use. I think guinea
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: on the head. If the Mark Williams guy is still
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: openers a type of player like that, I haven't scared.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying. What happened with Mark Williams
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: when he didn't pass the physical the first time. What
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: was the thing with it? Said?
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: It was something with with a need with a with
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: an injury, and so he failed the physical. So he
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: had to go back to Charlotte and the Lakers. It
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: was already passed. The Lakers can't try again.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: The Lakers Lakers, okay, Because I was going to say,
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: I know Grant Hill sat on different people.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: To the Lakers could have because he continued.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: He went back to Charlotte, but the Lakers, for what
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: they wanted to do, decided that they didn't want to
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: buy the goods.
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: Mostly that's why I said, we got a lot of
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: stuff going on in the front office. Also, it's not
- 1:13:04Speaker 9: you know, it's a lot of things out there that's
- 1:13:06Speaker 9: just not shaping up decisions being made.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I don't see where you are even talking about. I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: just went out and got Luca dunkas.
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: No, when I'm saying as far as like to cancel
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: that too, the gentleman still played all year.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: People get canceled all the time. You don't pass my physical,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: My physical and your physical two different things.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's you staying correctulum.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: My doctors came in and told me, don't take the risk, right,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: That's really how I look when I went into knee,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: just like when you go to the combine, every team,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: especially the ones that want to draft you, you end
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: up going to thirty two sets of doctors. It's the longest,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: most miserable day of your life because by the eighth
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: doctor you show the tie, they keep gonning turn it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Over to him. Hold it up, hom up, hold it up.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: You gotta go to the other room with doctors and
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: you gotta.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Do that thirty two times, and then number twenty seven
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: tell you your arm go straight down, like hold on, man,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I'm tired now. And that's what they right now, and
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: they said, no, you don't. That's just how it really worked.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I went to the comeby in the first time. They
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: said I had something wrong with my back. So I
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: had to go back like two weeks later because one
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: of the doctors said someone's wrong with my back. They
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: send you a ticket, you come back, you take another test,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: and then they send that off and it's all the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: same things. So the Lakers have a different level of
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: what they was looking for in this person's knee. That
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Charlotte was okay, happening. Wow, that's just how it is.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: We'll be back more than Sports Shops Show. Right after
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: this stop, I want to do at on my.

- 1:17:43Speaker 3: miss Moore shock Wayne? Can do I do?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Someone said about heart with the Lakers. I wouldn't say
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: that they missing heart. I just I think they are
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: missing that toughness, that that rough and tumble guy. But
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I don't I wouldn't. I don't think with Lebron, Luca
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Archerma or shooting guard what's in Austin Reeves. I don't
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: think it's a lack of heart. I just think they
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: don't have that.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Bruce bruises. They don't have enough tall people.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, they don't have any because those are four starters, right.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: That was from Antwine. I don't know if he's a
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Piston or a Hornets fan. You know he's you said,
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: a piston.
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: You're not criticizing somebody for supporting more than one team
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: like Michigan. I know of all the people you not support,
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: You not against somebody supporting more than.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: A couple of birthdays here today and going into the weekend.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Okay sees check Hogrum is twenty three years of age.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Tim McGraw is fifty eight years of.

- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Victoria Monet is thirty six. From the Dexter series. Who
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Dexter is coming back in the summer. I think it
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: a prequel, isn't it.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: No no, no, no no no. Dexter himself the Resurrection.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: I saw the commercial last night. Dexter Like Jesus, I
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: don't know if he's I'm.
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: Saying when we talk about resurrection, that is kind of
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: limited lane in July.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: He's coming the Dexter. Dexter is coming back, not the prequel,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: but one of the Dexter stars. Julie Binns is fifty
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: three years old. Wes Walker, the Receiver most famously with
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the Patriots forty four. Curtis Martin, a Hall of Famer
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: for the j Ets, Jets, Jets Jets from Wicked and
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Hunger Games. Rachel Ziggler is twenty four years of age.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Rebecca Hall, She's part of the Kong and Iron Man series.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: She's forty three. Wonder Woman Gail Goudot is forty. Anna
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: de Almaz is thirty seven. She was a Bond girl.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: Yes, Yes, she did a movie. She played Marilyn Monroe.
- 1:20:15Speaker 8: Oh yeah, she also did that movie as well. She's
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: thirty seven years old. The Rock is fifty three.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Dwayne Johnson DC Young Fly the Young Comedian is thirty three.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Paul George big question. What would the sixers do with
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: George this year? He's thirty five years old. Donna Tella
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Vasachid Did she design or she was just famous because.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: She had the name she was? She she was an
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: executive yeah, with the design house. Yeah, okay, but she
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: wasn't necessarily a designer. Nah. She sort of pushed them
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: forward with her vision. Okay. She's the seven zero is
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: the Donna Tellover of.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: The That's Side of the Rain, the Last That's the
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: Oh okay, so she's still did she she got that
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: one foot under the wire?
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: Okay? Okay? Donald Tellen David Beckham is five zero.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I'm quite sure we'll be seeing him in some kind
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: of party People Magazine, Party.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Pictures. David Beckham does he still own Miami? A part
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: owner of Miami? Right? I think soccer team?
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Okay David Beckham fifty years old, Kristen dunt is forty three,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Tyron lou the head coach of the Clippers, is forty eight,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Damon Dash is fifty four. And this young man read
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: the story yesterday, definitely have to tip my hat to him.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Set out this last season as a rookie. Travis, Jordan Travis,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the quarterback out of FSU, has decided to retire. If
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: you remember his last game at FSU and that undefeated season,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: he messed his knee up. The Jets did draft him,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: i want to say, in the fifth round, and they
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: thought that maybe he could rehab that knee and get
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: back out there, but he says he's not going to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: be able to get out there again. He's twenty five
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: years of age. So but if you read up about him,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: one of those stories very touching to imagine this happening.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: And I was watching the game when he got hurt.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: This is when Florida State went undefeated under him and
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: did not make the college playoffs, which then spent everything
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: into eight game what is it? Ten game, ten team twelve,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: twelve teen playoff now. But Jordan Travis, who showed a
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: lot of promise, started Louisville then transferred into Florida State.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: But mess his leg up, and you have to imagine
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: that's that's so bad. Be that young and be able
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to mess it up. With modern days technology, they almost
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: can rebuild you. But he has lost his career and
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: he's going to retire now. And I'm quite sure to
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: be a head coach someway while we're sitting here looking
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: at him, the head coach of the Jets in a
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: couple of years, being quarterback and all that. So h
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: the twenty twenty five inductees for the Rock and Roll
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. Go ahead, sir, I get a little
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: work this weekend. I didn't get a chance. Oh yeah, I'm.
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: Gonna go ahead and get away. Tell him about the
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: gunline bass. Come on, man, she almost got away on
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: me and I looked.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: She is a designer. Yeah, she.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Design her businesswan her social life, and model. So she
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: has triple quadruple threat. She does it all in the
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: modeling business. Was famousing them for uh, the the Grammy
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: dress that Jalo award, but she she she wore it first.
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: Oh well, I'm clocking in on down to tell her
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: to day for the House of Asachi.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Well, and that's why I asked, I'm you can be
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: impactful in that business and might not have been the
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: person that actually were was designing the clothes exactly. I
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: knew her brother designed closed. I didn't know if she
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: just ran the business pars. And that's why I asked,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I'm not surprised that I think.
- 1:24:31Speaker 9: She designed more than her brother. Actually, from my understuff,
- 1:24:34Speaker 9: like he was the more of it, the visionary too.
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: Is that before as he passed, before he passed, Yeah,
- 1:24:42Speaker 9: he was like the he was the man like she's
- 1:24:47Speaker 9: like the younger sister. Now do you know this on
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: fact that you're just talking off the cuffin just.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Watching the movie, watching the movie, watching the movie, watching
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: the movie. I'll tell you watch cutting me off. I'm
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: cutting me off. You're cutting me off.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: You're cutting me off watching, You're cofing me off, you're
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: covering me off.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: Just saying I watched the movie, and you kept asking me,
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: so I just said, I watched the movie. Sports. Movies
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: don't tell you but what they want to. That's what
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: I say. You know that a lot of movies have
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: people older or younger, I waste on when they need
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: you to know the narrative. That's what I said, I
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: watched the movie. When you asked that question, basically saying
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: you have no factual information, I watched the movie.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: That's the point you're trying to get across is that
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: your information came from a fictional account, which means.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: That it may not be it said. It was not
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: a fictional it was non fictional, but it was the movie.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: So oh man, we uh. I didn't know.
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: It was Uncle Charlie birthday to day, ninety three years old.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: Shout out, Uncle Charlie.
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: I just saw Charlie nine three. It's okay, okay living
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: happy birthday. On birthday, we'll be back to sports after this.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: Don't go away A.

- 1:26:12Speaker 12: practice yoga. My dad's going to a club, but not
- 1:26:15Speaker 12: a book club, a sofa club.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: Finding new hobbies comes with age.
- 1:26:19Speaker 18: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
- 1:26:22Speaker 18: she's going.
- 1:26:23Speaker 22: Becoming lost or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or place

- 1:26:40Speaker 11: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:26:43Speaker 11: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:26:47Speaker 11: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:26:51Speaker 11: life insurance.
- 1:26:51Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:26:53Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:27:01Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:27:03Speaker 19: bills piling up, I was worried how my family would
- 1:27:05Speaker 19: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with

- 1:27:16Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.

- 1:27:52Speaker 5: the Player's Lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:07Speaker 25: All my life, grinding all my life, sacrifice, hustle, baby, prison,
- 1:28:12Speaker 25: one slice, got the proodeis all my life.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: I've been grinding all my life. Welcome back to this
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: what shock show up, this war shock wing candy.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: If you haven't caught on the musical theme today has
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: actually been sadly hip hop artists that have been murdered.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: Wow, so all the music you've been listening to, these
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: are artists that have been not died, but murdered. And
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: those were some hits.
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: We've been here too here That's what I was doing
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: it so many some hits wrapped up in all of
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: that rip.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Of murdered victims. Murder not something we're just passed away.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: As it went to break, I mentioned the hip hop Hall,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: not the hip hop Hall of Fame, the rock and
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: roll Hall of Fame. Be twenty twenty five inductees. Bad
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Company is one of the groups. Chevy Checker, Joe Cocker,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Sydney Lauper, Outcast, Sound Garden, the White Strips, right, I
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: mean White Stripes, I'm sorry. The Musical Influence Award, which
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: also includes rock and roll. But those people I mentioned
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: before were performers on the Musical Influence Award going into
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Iss Salt and
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Pepper and Warn Zevon.
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: Zvon.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Also Nikki Hopkins, thomb Bell and Carol Kay are going
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: into this year's Rock and Roll and I was I'm
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: always confused of a lot of times, is it a
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: certain only years you have to be?
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's active. How twenty five years after your
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: first album? Okay, okay?
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: Because I was first of Shelby Checkers, Indy Law, I
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: imagine that Chubby Checker is already in. Yeah, Cocker already
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: Cocker and Chubby Checker not being in blew my mind.
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: But I can't believe that they're not already in. I
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: was wondering, how did the White Stripes get in, because
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: they just, you know, they just hit the twenty five
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: year mark.
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: I believe what they came out in nineteen ninety. They
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: just eighty nine ninety.
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: The White Stripes, one hundred nation Army, seven nation Army.
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: That's the name of it. That's the name of song,
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: seven Nation Army. You got too many nations, big Kenny.
- 1:30:52Speaker 8: Oh you also old uncle Charlie of it was his brother,
- 1:30:57Speaker 8: my uncle Fred ninety three. Charl ain't three yet? Uh
- 1:31:04Speaker 8: And thank you for that correction, sir. But I thought
- 1:31:06Speaker 8: it was one hundred nations. Let me, every time I
- 1:31:09Speaker 8: google it, it goes hundred nation Army. It's seven oh,
- 1:31:13Speaker 8: one hundred nations. Don't believe I like that that that
- 1:31:17Speaker 8: I'm not the long white White Stripes. Their first album
- 1:31:20Speaker 8: was nineteen ninety nine. Okay, they just became eligible. Chubby
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: Checker is really just known for one song, or variations
- 1:31:29Speaker 8: on that one song.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: It is.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: It is surprising that Joe Cocker it was it took
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: so long, well by Clandy law what took so long
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: with her? I mean, because what would be her?
- 1:31:44Speaker 9: What she had time at the time, girls, she had,
- 1:31:46Speaker 9: she had a lot of she had a couple of
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: she had three three major hits.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: But it's that really Hall of Fame worthy.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: Well, and I'm stripe album seven seven Nation Army was
- 1:31:58Speaker 6: the only song that I know that really broke through
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: in my opinion for the White Stripes, I'm wondering about
- 1:32:04Speaker 6: the hip not the hip hop, but the music Influencer Award. Now,
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: Salt and Pepper actually performed music, but how is it
- 1:32:13Speaker 6: that they broke through his influencers?
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: What was there in that female rappers? The first probably
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: female rappers, so they wouldn't pult you just into the
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: main frame of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: For sure, saying as I was reading the list, they
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: had the first five or six and then they had
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: the next two people under influencers.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: Right, So that's that's interesting. I don't know if they just,
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: you know, maybe the first people reached a certain amount
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: of record sales and maybe maybe it's something like that.
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: I wonder I've always wondered, what the don't they I
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: don't think they break it down on the show like that.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: They just say Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame. So uh,
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: and you know Salt and Pepper would push Ship.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: And uh tramp on a Man, a Man and a lot. Yeah,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: they those songs. And I'm still so caught off guard
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: with how we decided to make rock and Roll Hall
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: of Fame just music music Hall of Fame outcasts.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: You know, they ought to be like the first group
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame, but the rock
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: and roll Hall of Fame. Except for the guitar riffs
- 1:33:30Speaker 6: on Bob Bomb's over Bag Dad, I don't really see
- 1:33:34Speaker 6: what their contribution to rock and roll.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: Was, right, So it's just the Music Hall of Fame,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: And it could be a thing where the rock and
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: Roll Hall of Fame wanted to keep itself going. Yeah,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: and they just kept the name, and you know, like
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: they we need to include everybody more to keep ourselves
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: moving because our audience is not enthusiastic anymore.
- 1:33:56Speaker 9: As you think Drago show up, but you know, most
- 1:33:59Speaker 9: of time they show the perform you andre more.
- 1:34:03Speaker 6: People are concerned about Meg White from the White Stripes
- 1:34:06Speaker 6: showing up because she the White Stripes were traditionally a
- 1:34:12Speaker 6: duo and then they they were supposed to be brothers
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: and sister, but they were actually married at one time,
- 1:34:18Speaker 6: and she stopped touring at the height of their popularity
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: because of social anxiety that that she was uncomfortable being
- 1:34:27Speaker 6: out in those huge venues. Married, they were actually a
- 1:34:32Speaker 6: husband and wife, but they told people they were brothers
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: and sister because it added to the mystique of their band,
- 1:34:38Speaker 6: and they would perform just the two of them. When
- 1:34:40Speaker 6: you'd see them on the late night shows, when you'd
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: see them on the music awards shows, it just be.
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: That's what they have done it. But trying to live
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: that lie because.
- 1:34:56Speaker 9: And then all the group is continue and then somebody
- 1:34:59Speaker 9: and the he's coming up and you looking funny?
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: Why your sister acting like that? You know what I mean?
- 1:35:04Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:35:05Speaker 6: Man, I remember one time I saw him kissing, like
- 1:35:07Speaker 6: before they actually got divorced. I saw I'm kissing, you know,
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: so who knows what it was. But a lot of
- 1:35:14Speaker 6: people are questioning will she actually come out for this perform?
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: And like I said earlier in the show, also, you
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: still have the people that knew you before. Yeah, man,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: that whole world. I was at your wag before, I
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: was at your well, not just that, the people that
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: knew you before you ever even met this person knows
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: that's not your brother.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: Hold on, she said, that's we was in the fourth
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: grade together. She was the only child I know all
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: my life. So you gotta hope those people keep keep it.
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: They have to keep the seat secret as well.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: Pittsburgh, a fan and male fan fell from the twenty
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: one foot Clemente wall and right field at P and
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: C Park. Story is that he is in critical condition.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: The police are investigating. This happened the last night during
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: the game, and this is something that we all see
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: a lot of times, especially when the ball is hitting
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: too that section that you're in out there, people will
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: lean all the way down to mid.
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: Thigh, if not if they can't get lower to try
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: and get that.
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: Some people I've seen people have people hold them from
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: behind so they can get out further and it's rolling
- 1:36:38Speaker 6: the dice at the very least.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: Yeah, So hopefully that's the fan. I don't have an
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: age in this story that I'm looking at right now,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: but hopefully he survives.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: But that's a long fall. When you talk about being
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: out of control, not intentional, you know you might be
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: able to do it and survive if you was.
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: Trying cliff diving, but when you trying to catch a
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: ball and all of a sudden you find yourself free
- 1:37:07Speaker 6: falling and you fall.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: On your head or something like that. But he's in
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: critical condition and we will see where this was. This
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: sends the outfields next thing, you know, it's a big wall,
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: clear net or something, and then that changes the ticket price.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because some people like those seats because they
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: feel like they will have that first chance of getting
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: the ball. Yes, by sitting right there, you put the
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: clear area up, and now I know I'm not going
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: to get a ball, right, so uh, we will see
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: how that works.
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: What's that meaning. I'm just saying it. It takes away
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: from It's like down the third baseline, they got the net.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: A lot of people like to get there to get
- 1:37:53Speaker 6: the fileball. But now that's taking away that opportunity. And
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: you kind of have to understand from a business and point.
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: It's exciting to be able to catch an errant ball,
- 1:38:03Speaker 6: but if somebody's not paying attention, in a five year
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: old gets a traumatic brain injury because you know somebody
- 1:38:12Speaker 6: wasn't paying attention.
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: We really want to stop that kind of stuff.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: Deshaun Jackson excuse me, Delaware State head coach. We talked
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: about Mike Vick being at Norfolk State, right. DeShawn Jackson
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: a longtime NFL explosive, big play guy down the field
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: with the Eagles for most of his career. He's the
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: head coach at Delaware State. He said he's trying to
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: get thirty odd players, thirty plus players here in the
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: next three months. That's a lot of work on him
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: and his staff. I know the transfer portal is open.
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: I don't know if that including. I couldn't figure out
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: how that's going to work this late. That sounded like
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: mass migration.
- 1:39:00Speaker 9: There's there's a couple of school I mean, I hate
- 1:39:03Speaker 9: to say it, but there's a school in South Carolina
- 1:39:05Speaker 9: just closed the whole athletic Limestone University. So he had
- 1:39:09Speaker 9: to go get a couple of those players. But he's
- 1:39:11Speaker 9: got to do what he can't do to get thirty
- 1:39:13Speaker 9: players in three months? Is it a minimum that he needs?
- 1:39:17Speaker 9: That's to trying to get a full roster? A full roster,
- 1:39:20Speaker 9: gay because it's big. Just had their spring game and
- 1:39:23Speaker 9: the guys left.
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot had left and something.
- 1:39:26Speaker 8: So he has about sixty players right now. He's still
- 1:39:30Speaker 8: trying to fill.
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: Out the roster. Wow, we'll be back for more of
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: the Sports Jock Show right after this. Open the check
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: book at looking speaking, But will we be we freget
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: in that much show?
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: Can we get keep it up?
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: And low?
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: Ain't nobody got to know. Tell it that that going out.
- 1:39:46Speaker 25: With your own girl, because me and you gonna get
- 1:39:48Speaker 25: off in our own world.
- 1:39:49Speaker 7: Get a suite, don't go awayne board of the Sports
- 1:39:55Speaker 7: John Show with Wayne Gambia.
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: Is coming up next.
- 1:40:00Speaker 20: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:40:03Speaker 20: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:40:06Speaker 20: It's a powerful opio It often made illegally and commonly
- 1:40:10Speaker 20: mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into
- 1:40:13Speaker 20: counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about
- 1:40:17Speaker 20: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
- 1:40:20Speaker 20: be lethal. This isn't an ad to scare you, but
- 1:40:22Speaker 20: it isn't ad to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 1:40:26Speaker 20: Go to real Deeal on fentanyl dot com. This message

- 1:41:26Speaker 16: And now back to the Sports John, Wayne Candy, its win.
- 1:41:47Speaker 16: It's oh log An so you can see the sports
- 1:41:53Speaker 16: joint I'll see even very Jenny.
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne again the NBA action tonight, guys.
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: I think the Knicks and the Detroit Pissons will do
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: battle again. Which game are they up to?
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: Game five?
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: Six, six for them with the Knicks three to two
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: in that series headed to Detroit and the Nuggets and
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: the Clippers. Game six is well, the Nuggets up three
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: to two in that series and the Clippers fighting for
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: their life at home. We talked about the Lakers, and
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: I hope with this it just is another showing of
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: there isn't always somebody to blame. Sometimes the other team
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: just beat you, you know how every time something everybody needs.
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: But this didn't happen. Well, no, I think the timber
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: Wolves this series just had the Lakers number. The deficiency
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: that they were able to take advantage of the deficiency
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: that the Lakers had, like they identified it early and
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: exploited it, and they exploited it and it was realized
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: just like we're a lot of teams in him, there's
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: nobody at the rim. So if I can get past
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: whoever this person is in front of me, they don't
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: have that guy inguat They don't have those kind of
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: guys waiting for me. We just gonna keep going at that.
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: And I know I was over at Douglas County yesterday
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: looking at them practice high school here locally watching them
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: practice they avinge spring ball, and I ran into my
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: old old line coach from Auburn Ridge, Grick Trickett. He's
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: over at Jackson State now. He was down there scouting,
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: just like we talked about with the nil He says,
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: Nil took his best two linemen. That basically, at his level,
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: you go out, get a guy, train him up. Two
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: three years, he make All Conference or something, and that
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: you know South Carolina is and that's your.
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: Door a Memphis check.
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: I know it ain't but seventeen thousand, but Jackson State
- 1:44:23Speaker 6: was paying you what two?
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: Basically, so he said he was frustrating seventy seven. He's
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: cut from that old That's why I knew when Nick left.
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: People like coach Trickett, who is some at different points
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: in his career was really considered one of the top
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: old line coaches in the country. He was at Florida
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: State with Greg and Jimbo there for a while. But
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: he was saying the frustration of that, like basically, like
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: I'm saying, as simple as me and the four of
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: us go, we go get us a team together. We
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: get this team. We were two and nine, We get
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: us a good season, eleven and two. Think we're gonna
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: run it back rut because here taking out running back
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: and I came in today's football. Yeah, I can't really
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: blame ers talking about four fifty.
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: And a Lamborghini or something out of left to you know,
- 1:45:24Speaker 6: I have went and got the four f two fifty.
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: So it's hard to keep a team and it's just
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: very frustrating in that event. But I was saying all
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: that to say what Douglas County. I called games, and
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: I watched them, and sometimes you want to sit there
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: and figure some kind of way that it's their fault
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: and you never there are times with the other team.
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: Just wins.
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: And when I called games for Douglas County, my point
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: was more of Douglas County different than the Timberwolves. They'll
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: get away from what is working because I'm in the booth, like, well,
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: why not just call the play that you keep getting
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: six yards on?
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: They haven't stopped yet. I don't know why y'all are
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: keep trying to throw. They haven't stopped the play. The
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: play right there.
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: Every time y'all called it, you get six yards and
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: minimum six yards, so why not call that again. I
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: say that with the timber was when I watched the game,
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: they was very aware the Lakers have nobody at the rim,
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: and they just kept going right in. So I'm just
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: gonna go at the rim, y'all. Don't you don't even
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: have him on the bench. I don't even have to
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: worry about JJ giving the finger to the guy on
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: the seventh foot. That's gonna shoot all that down. Everybody
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: you're gonna put out here is six seven, six nine,
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: And if I get by the initial guy, I'm out.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: And that's what man would do. And that's how the
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: three pointers for what's his now, what's the shooter's name?
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: On the sixth Man of the year last years, and
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: that's how they beat him.
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: There's no special sauce to this mold. This isn't.
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: This isn't Lebron didn't score but nine points a game
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: or he had thirty eight one night and thirty the next,
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: and you know it wasn't and I could.
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: Perform it last night. It was Rudy Gobert just being taller,
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: and everybody.
- 1:47:19Speaker 9: Made him look like a All Perennial, All first Team
- 1:47:24Speaker 9: NBA player.
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: It's why not y'all don't have a guy tall And
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. So I'm gonna just go down
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: here instead up, and what are y'all going to do?
- 1:47:33Speaker 3: And you know my tippy toes if I have to,
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: and we they exploited.
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: I was reading something about last night's game Golden State
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: against the Rockets, and Draymond was alluding to that the
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: Rockets players. He didn't say they were being dirty, but
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: he kept saying they were going after Steph Curry's hurt hand.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: And I was thinking, yeah, that's what I thought that
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: that was.
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: If you out here in your hand wrap, I'm gonna slap.
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: Every file I'm gonna get will be on your hurt hand.
- 1:48:12Speaker 6: If I'm aa get a file, if I'm a get
- 1:48:14Speaker 6: a file, that's gonna be for slapping that hurt hand.
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: That's that's not shooting. That's not legal anymore. In my book,
- 1:48:21Speaker 3: it is. But I'll make the rus in the NBA.
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: I'll make them one of the biggest things.
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: That you know, our coaches, no matter what level I
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: was on, they were always like, hurry up and jump
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: up off the ground, stand in the huddle, you know,
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: don't grimace being as much pain as you want to be.
- 1:48:42Speaker 3: But don't let the guy on the other side of
- 1:48:43Speaker 3: the ball see the doing this. Yes, oh yeah, we're
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: gonna hit that. We got something for that. You done
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: gave me something more.
- 1:48:55Speaker 9: And for Draymond to sit there and say that to
- 1:48:58Speaker 9: you also giving them information like they may not really
- 1:49:01Speaker 9: know that steph hand was hurt.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: Thee wrap though, but I mean but but you still
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: didn't say anything. But still though you don't supposed to
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: say anything, you come.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: Up with your hand wrap everything. I like it on
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: that hand hard file to see how much you really
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: wanted to know. Matter of fact, I'm putting a man
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: in that chest. We'll be back more to Sports Shock

- 1:51:40Speaker 3: I'm about what make this what shock show?
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: I'm this wort shock Wayne Candy All eleven students from
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: upstate New York high school accused of orchestrating and arm
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: kidnapping of a teammate in a prank that goes way
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: way beyond heying have turned themselves in. They turned themselves
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: in yesterday after being given forty eight hours to surrender
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: and face only misdemeanor charges of unlawful imprisonment. I mean,
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: is there can you really make unlawful imprisonment misdemeanor? I mean,
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: what is misdemeanor kidnapping?
- 1:52:24Speaker 3: Now? Listen, no, listen, now, listen not.
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: This was did anybody have idea it was misdemeanor kidnapping.
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: I don't know what kind of kidnapped without a weapon problem. Wait,
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: first of all, First of all, sir, I don't have
- 1:52:36Speaker 1: yeah without a weapon, I don't have yeah.
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: I don't have a point of reference from mister Needing
- 1:52:45Speaker 6: anything but kidnapping. Now, in this scenario, they were supposed
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: to be going to some off campus location. They pretended
- 1:52:54Speaker 6: to get lost. When they get to this location that
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: they pretend to be law people ran out of the
- 1:53:01Speaker 6: woods with replica guns. I think, I don't even know
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: if it was a real gun, just unloaded. But a
- 1:53:08Speaker 6: few of the guys got away. One of them had
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: a hood placed on his head, was restrained and thrown
- 1:53:15Speaker 6: in the trunk of a car. Now, felony kidnapping is
- 1:53:21Speaker 6: me going, hey, stop, come here, let's get napping.
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: I get felony charged for that.
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: To put a gun on you, put a hood on
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: your head, restrain you, and throw you in the trunk
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: is just straight up about fourteen years. That's just you know,
- 1:53:40Speaker 6: even with no injury to you. I'm looking at fourteen
- 1:53:43Speaker 6: So what's what's a prank? I don't pranking allowed?
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: Do you know what I think?
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: Sports Johnson? You know what I'm saying. You know the
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: whole as I said, the Ashton Cushier thing, like, it
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: seems that if you do any.
- 1:53:55Speaker 9: You gotta have some cameras and stuff. You gotta have cameras.
- 1:53:58Speaker 9: Now to merank, I'm pranking you. I got caught.
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: Now it was a prank. It was a prank. No,
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: I'm saying, Kenny is going to his car and the
- 1:54:08Speaker 3: three of us put on some hoods.
- 1:54:10Speaker 9: And we're gonna have some cameraman behind us and so
- 1:54:12Speaker 9: we can say, oh, it's just a prank. See, we're
- 1:54:14Speaker 9: feeling you, we're feeling it. I hope they all strapped
- 1:54:17Speaker 9: up with VESTU because I ain't going I ain't going
- 1:54:21Speaker 9: just jump out the woods. Okay, Well, we all gonna
- 1:54:26Speaker 9: laugh today.
- 1:54:27Speaker 6: We all laugh in the day. I thought it was
- 1:54:30Speaker 6: a joke too, That's why them that was play heat.
- 1:54:34Speaker 6: But this is all I'm saying is to me, I
- 1:54:37Speaker 6: imagine the reason it was. They had some ultimatum that
- 1:54:40Speaker 6: they issued turn yourself in or your face felony charges.
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: I have a feeling that the people who were affected
- 1:54:46Speaker 6: by the prank tried to downplay it. Oh no, we
- 1:54:49Speaker 6: really don't want to press charges, which is the only
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: reason people would be willing to let this go.
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: The kids have learned their lessons.
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: We're all sorry, and everybody's in agreement with that, because
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: if it were one person on some no I want
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: them prosecuted, they'd have no choice but to prosecute them.
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: These, by your.
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: Own admissions, were felonious acts that you willfully, deliberately, intentionally committed.
- 1:55:13Speaker 6: So uh, it has to be we all just kind
- 1:55:17Speaker 6: of decided that no harm, no foul. So we can't
- 1:55:22Speaker 6: throw you in the trunk and just laugh later, are
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: you That's what I'm saying.
- 1:55:26Speaker 3: We could try.
- 1:55:27Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying, Let's see how gore in
- 1:55:30Speaker 8: the trunk.
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: That's that's not That's.
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: What I'm saying. Where does the lepolo. We all laughed
- 1:55:38Speaker 6: together in the prank. It was funny when you ran
- 1:55:41Speaker 6: up out of the woods and we all started screaming
- 1:55:43Speaker 6: like girls, if we just stop, then that was finny.
- 1:55:46Speaker 6: But when the hood went over my head, I was thinking, well,
- 1:55:49Speaker 6: maybe yeah. But when I went in the trunk of
- 1:55:52Speaker 6: the car, I was like, these dudes ain't playing well.
- 1:55:55Speaker 3: Is it a prank when it becomes out favor favorable
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: for you?
- 1:55:59Speaker 7: Like, so.
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: We kidnap you, you end up well a pull off
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: you at Magic City with some lemon pepper wings and
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: four or five dances. Now it's funny.
- 1:56:14Speaker 3: I don't know how y'all gonna get me past that
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: aggravated assault charge.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: Though, No, I'm saying, does it have to be something
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: where it's okay with you with me pulling off this?
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: Well, see, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:56:27Speaker 6: I would imagine that these people were like, no harm,
- 1:56:29Speaker 6: no foul, because generally the prank is for the way
- 1:56:32Speaker 6: they have it set up. Now it's for the benefit
- 1:56:34Speaker 6: of the person pulling the prank. You truly thought it
- 1:56:37Speaker 6: was real until I said, hey, man, you're on punk
- 1:56:41Speaker 6: and now I get to film you going Oh man,
- 1:56:44Speaker 6: I hate you because up until then you were crying and.
- 1:56:47Speaker 3: Scared and all of that.
- 1:56:48Speaker 6: And that's why I say that the prank is only
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: for the benefit of the person pulling the prank. There's
- 1:56:55Speaker 6: never seems to be an upside for the person being pranked.
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: Former Colorado star darriing Hagen flabbergast that the school retired
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: Travis Hunter and Shaduur, saying, there's jersey bad producer.
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: Did you have an issue with this?
- 1:57:14Speaker 9: Now if the administration didn't have anything no that at No,
- 1:57:17Speaker 9: I don't have a I didn't have a problem with Greg.
- 1:57:24Speaker 8: I have a slight problem with it. I think some uh,
- 1:57:28Speaker 8: there are some others that could have been honored before them.
- 1:57:32Speaker 8: I understand. I kind of understand more with Travis Hunter
- 1:57:34Speaker 8: because he's a Heisman Trophy winner. Not so much with Shaudur.
- 1:57:39Speaker 8: You know, he broke a couple of records here and there.
- 1:57:41Speaker 8: But the national champion. No one from the National Championship
- 1:57:45Speaker 8: team or like you said before, when they had Cordel
- 1:57:48Speaker 8: and Rashon Salam, none of them.
- 1:57:53Speaker 6: So and what I'm saying Cordell, any of their jerseys retire? No, No,
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: nobody from the National Championship team or the Cordel Stewart era.
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: What only rashon salom because you want? Okay now, So
- 1:58:10Speaker 6: the Heisman jersey could be retired if we retire all
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: Heisman winner jersey. But if we still got a couple
- 1:58:19Speaker 6: who won a Heisman before you and we hadn't retired
- 1:58:21Speaker 6: their jersey, take major seats, sir, should do I don't
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: even know why you here.
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: Why'd you come over here today? What are you doing?
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: You're inviting me over for the jersey serve ceremony? Yeah,
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 1:58:35Speaker 6: And all of the guests sit there, sir, the people
- 1:58:39Speaker 6: getting a jersey retired the ones that come up here,
- 1:58:42Speaker 6: So you shouldn't wait.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, y'all.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: Retiring this dude jersey that would have been me. Hold on,
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: y'all for real, hold on, man, don't did did should
