- 0:00Speaker 1: On sevent ten, wo off this to New York Mark Simon. Well,
- 0:06Speaker 1: this is right now, the brilliant Liz Peak the Great
- 0:09Speaker 1: column List. You can read her columns at foxnews dot com,
- 0:12Speaker 1: the Hill dot com. Check out her website lizpeak dot com.
- 0:17Speaker 1: There's always great stuff there lizpeak dot com. Of course
- 0:20Speaker 1: you'll see her all over television. Liz Peak. How you doing?
- 0:24Speaker 2: I'm terrific? How are you?
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm good? How are the Democrats now? They got all
- 0:29Speaker 1: these crazy left wing kooks in this guy in Michigan.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You got Obama calling them, you got Newsom flying out
- 0:36Speaker 1: to see him. Are they making a mistake embracing this nonsense?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Well?
- 0:40Speaker 3: I also, I mean, you know, remember you've got elsig Ed,
- 0:46Speaker 3: the progressive radical who won the primary Democrat primary, is
- 0:51Speaker 3: going to be running for Gary Peters Senate seat in
- 0:54Speaker 3: Michigan in November, and he's running.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Against Mike Rogers. What's interesting to me.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yesterday, Julian or the today before Julian Epstein, a long
- 1:05Speaker 3: time lifelong Democrat who worked for Hillary Clinton very closely,
- 1:09Speaker 3: was very involved in congressional legal activities and so forth,
- 1:13Speaker 3: came out and said, no, this is not my party anymore,
- 1:16Speaker 3: and I'm going to vote for Mike Rogers.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Well, good for him.
- 1:19Speaker 3: And what it really sort of reminds you of that's
- 1:22Speaker 3: the right position for Democrats to take.
- 1:25Speaker 2: But you have two kinds of Democrats right mark.
- 1:29Speaker 3: You have those who want to be president like Pete
- 1:31Speaker 3: Buddha Jeedge and Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris, and they
- 1:35Speaker 3: will say or do anything to further their ambitions. Pete
- 1:40Speaker 3: Buddha Jedge right now is campaigning with Al Fayed. Either way,
- 1:45Speaker 3: who else campaigns with Al Fayed is the absolutely despicable
- 1:50Speaker 3: anti American, anti Semitic Hassan Piker. So that's a nice
- 1:54Speaker 3: trio right there. Gavin Newsom is running around the country
- 1:58Speaker 3: saying he supports a wealth path. This is after he
- 2:01Speaker 3: basically said he didn't support one for California. But he
- 2:05Speaker 3: saw that needle move on the National Progressive you know,
- 2:10Speaker 3: kind of odometer showing that you had to be far
- 2:13Speaker 3: left to even be taken seriously as a presidential candidate
- 2:17Speaker 3: agent right on board with it. And you have Kamala
- 2:20Speaker 3: Harris who is now saying, yeah, you know, we really
- 2:22Speaker 3: should revisit the electoral college and sure packing the Supreme
- 2:27Speaker 3: court makes sense. I mean, these people are cowards in
- 2:31Speaker 3: my view. They are disgraced to their party, and it's
- 2:35Speaker 3: really nice to see somebody like Julian Epstein.
- 2:38Speaker 2: And by the way, you've.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Heard little rumblings from Hillary Clinton and a few others
- 2:44Speaker 3: saying no, we don't we're not on board with this stuff.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It's absurd and a lot of it Mark A lot
- 2:50Speaker 3: of it is just playing childish fantasy land getting rid
- 2:54Speaker 3: of police, for example, which is one of the DSA
- 2:58Speaker 3: prime planks in their plat form. And when asked, well,
- 3:01Speaker 3: wait a minute, what if someone rapes my daughter and
- 3:04Speaker 3: shouldn't that person be punished, it goes, oh, yeah, you know,
- 3:07Speaker 3: that's of course it'd be punished. Well, there's no prisons
- 3:10Speaker 3: because they want to abolish prisons and no police.
- 3:13Speaker 2: How do you do that?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Oh?
- 3:14Speaker 2: I don't want to get caught up in a hypothetical.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I mean, come on, these are not serious people, and
- 3:20Speaker 3: we're seeing in the case of Mam Donnie, for example, in.
- 3:23Speaker 2: New York City, he's not a serious person.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Can't he can talk on video, he's a great TikToker,
- 3:30Speaker 3: but when it comes to actually implementing a policy, like
- 3:32Speaker 3: his piano tere attacks. Yeah, you can say it should
- 3:35Speaker 3: go into effect, and it's been totally totally botched, and
- 3:38Speaker 3: now a judge has said no, this can't stand.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So, you know, I.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Really am discouraged that the Democratic Party is sort of
- 3:49Speaker 3: just imploding in our very in front of us, and
- 3:54Speaker 3: there's so few people with any kind of principle or
- 3:58Speaker 3: moral backbone of that party to stand up and say, no,
- 4:03Speaker 3: we are not anti jew. We're not going to be
- 4:07Speaker 3: eliminating the institutions that have made this country great for
- 4:10Speaker 3: two hundred and fifty years.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Shame on them. Yeah, well that's my rant for the day.
- 4:15Speaker 1: The way brilliant as always, But now they believe they
- 4:18Speaker 1: cannot hold the Senate. They can't win the Senate unless
- 4:21Speaker 1: they win Michigan. They've got to win Michigan to win
- 4:23Speaker 1: the Senate. So that explains Chuck Schumer helping el sayad.
- 4:27Speaker 1: But Pete Buddha Judge, all he's thinking is twenty twenty eight,
- 4:30Speaker 1: So that's right.
- 4:32Speaker 3: He says, he just wants Pete budhajeedge up there in lights.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Give me a break. What is this.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Guy's pretension to becoming a presidential candidate. He was a
- 4:42Speaker 3: complete disaster in the Biden administration. As you may remember,
- 4:47Speaker 3: he was the guy that was to be in charge
- 4:49Speaker 3: of fixing our supply change during COVID and you know,
- 4:53Speaker 3: helping kind of put the make sure the country worked
- 4:57Speaker 3: well it didn't, and he was nowhere to be found
- 5:00Speaker 3: because he had taken paternity leave, you know, because he
- 5:04Speaker 3: and his partner had adopted a child, and he was
- 5:07Speaker 3: gone for weeks and weeks on end while the country
- 5:09Speaker 3: was truly in crisis. No, no, he does not get
- 5:13Speaker 3: my vote, and he certainly shouldn't get anyone else's.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But he's a calculating guy, and he wants twenty twenty eight.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Is he believe now that this is the way to
- 5:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty eight that the nominee is going to be
- 5:23Speaker 1: whoever's woke and crazy like this?
- 5:26Speaker 2: One hundred percent?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Wow?
- 5:28Speaker 2: I mean, that's basically what that's what he's hoping.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I mean, but it's all kind of moment to moment politicking, right,
- 5:39Speaker 3: because this is the flavor of the moment.
- 5:42Speaker 2: One thing that does make me laugh.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Is that AOC actually hasn't chomped on board every single
- 5:49Speaker 3: one of these campaigns, and now she's kind of fading.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I don't.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I mean, her star seems to be losing luster because
- 5:55Speaker 3: she's not left enough.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Good lord.
- 5:58Speaker 3: You know, look, some of these people when they're interviewed.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Come across as.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Children, really, I mean, unable to really articulate a policy
- 6:09Speaker 3: that makes any sense, contradicting themselves, being utterly incapable of
- 6:15Speaker 3: translating a SoundBite that's great on TikTok into actually rational
- 6:20Speaker 3: activity that might help a country, or a state or
- 6:23Speaker 3: a city.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Again.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You know, though, I'm Donnie, It's going to really be
- 6:28Speaker 3: an interesting person to watch because he has surrounded himself
- 6:31Speaker 3: with totally incapable people, with a full exception of Jessica Tish,
- 6:37Speaker 3: He's offended nearly every group in town, including by sending
- 6:43Speaker 3: out a notice about.
- 6:44Speaker 2: His piano ter attacks.
- 6:46Speaker 3: First of all, posting online nine hundred thousand names or
- 6:49Speaker 3: whatever it was, addresses they could be and addresses, effectively
- 6:54Speaker 3: doxing a good portion of the city. Turns out any
- 6:58Speaker 3: number of those names were actually wrong, so they only
- 7:03Speaker 3: sent out a few thousand actually tax bills. But these
- 7:07Speaker 3: tax bills are being challenged left and right because a
- 7:09Speaker 3: lot of these people, this are.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Their primary residents. They aren't doing you know again, what
- 7:14Speaker 2: were his what's his background for running a city of
- 7:18Speaker 2: eight million people? Zero?
- 7:20Speaker 3: And you know, at some point doesn't that matter. People
- 7:24Speaker 3: could the Democrats could say, well, wait a minute. You
- 7:27Speaker 3: know Donald Trump had no political experience, that's true, but
- 7:30Speaker 3: you had management experience. And when you actually are a administrator,
- 7:35Speaker 3: if you're a mayor or a governor, you're actually running things.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And then these people have absolutely no clue how to
- 7:41Speaker 3: do that.
- 7:42Speaker 1: So these mom Dani supporters, when are they going to
- 7:45Speaker 1: realize it's just talk. There's no free buses, all these things.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't know, it's a good question.
- 7:52Speaker 3: It's probably when the Internet crashes and all these social
- 7:55Speaker 3: media bots out there that are hyping every It makes
- 7:59Speaker 3: me laugh to go on and then say, oh, see what.
- 8:01Speaker 2: A democrat can do. Free buses? No bus is harn't free.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Sorry, you know that actually is something he talked about,
- 8:09Speaker 3: but no, he actually.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Hasn't done that. So there's a lot of confusion amongst.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Young people in particular, who may have college degrees but
- 8:18Speaker 3: are appallingly ignorant about what actually is happening in the
- 8:21Speaker 3: world and what socialism means and why why it doesn't work,
- 8:26Speaker 3: why it hasn't worked historically and that message. You know,
- 8:31Speaker 3: they just have to grow up and kind of read
- 8:33Speaker 3: read about socialism, read history, figure out what actually has
- 8:37Speaker 3: happened in the world, and then maybe they'll get they
- 8:40Speaker 3: get wiser about mom Donnie. But to your point, at
- 8:43Speaker 3: some point people are going to say, well, wait a minute,
- 8:45Speaker 3: this really he hasn't delivered on this stuff.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Why would I vote for him? Again?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we are speaking of all this messaging. As far
- 8:53Speaker 1: as the midterms, Republicans, do they have enough me they
- 8:57Speaker 1: don't have any messaging? Are they going to accept from Well?
- 9:02Speaker 3: I mean I wrote about this in The Hill last week.
- 9:04Speaker 3: It is a really good question.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Right now.
- 9:07Speaker 3: The Republicans are riding on the fact that they're not communists.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You know, that's not really very solid. They're talking about some.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Are going home and talking up the benefits of the
- 9:22Speaker 3: Big Beautiful Bill, which by the way, were multiple, particularly
- 9:25Speaker 3: if you're a tip receiver, if you're on overtime, guess what,
- 9:32Speaker 3: You've got a nice tax break from President Trump.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But in my view of the Republicans have not done a.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Good job this year in coming up with a message
- 9:41Speaker 3: that really sells America. You know, interestingly, again, Julian Epstein,
- 9:46Speaker 3: lifelong Democrat who came out and said he was going
- 9:48Speaker 3: to vote for Mike Rogers in Michigan. I love the
- 9:52Speaker 3: fact that he actually sort of encapsulated the economic truth
- 9:58Speaker 3: of the Republicans versus Democrat argument, and he said, you know, I'm.
- 10:04Speaker 2: People in my want.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I don't want people in my tent who don't have
- 10:08Speaker 3: any interest in building something but only want to redistribute it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You know what a great comment, right, Where are the
- 10:14Speaker 3: Republicans on that? Because that's the heart of this issue,
- 10:18Speaker 3: isn't it. It's we're going to have takers and makers.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Do you want to be a maker? Do you want
- 10:23Speaker 3: to applaud and elect people who who promote makers, who
- 10:28Speaker 3: build our economy, who bring in good jobs, et cetera.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Or do you just want to absolutely take that maker
- 10:36Speaker 3: and say no, you're doing too well. We're going to
- 10:38Speaker 3: tax the heck out of you and redistribute your additions,
- 10:42Speaker 3: your contribution to all the people who are not doing anything.
- 10:46Speaker 3: When you have a million people not in the workforce,
- 10:48Speaker 3: marketing but a problem and we do have a problem.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Wow, Well brilliant as always, Liz Peaky. You should read
