Today we have a verb that's a little more musical: 'å synge' — to sing. Luna: Oh, I love singing! How do I say 'I sing'? Lucas: 'Jeg synger.' Let's break it down: 'å synge' is the infinitive. For present tense, you drop the 'e' and add 'er' — so 'jeg synger'. Luna: Jeg synger. That's nice. Lucas: Exactly. Now try asking 'Do you sing?' — 'Synger du?' Luna: Synger du? Easy! Lucas: Perfect. And if you want to say 'I sing a song': 'Jeg synger en sang.' Luna: Jeg synger en sang. So 'sang' is song? Lucas: Right. Now, can you sing? That would be 'Kan du synge?' Luna: Kan du synge? That's using 'kan' plus infinitive. Lucas: Yes! Good observation. Let me ask you: 'Synger du ofte?' — Do you sing often? Luna: Hmm, 'Ja, jeg synger ofte.' I sing in the shower.
