- 1:06Speaker 2: episode of Lara Trump Wanted. For questioning, you know how
- 1:09Speaker 2: we do it.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You send them in.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I try to answer them. Haven't seen them before. I'm
- 1:13Speaker 2: going to check them out right now. Let's see what
- 1:16Speaker 2: you have for me today. Okay, best birthday gift you.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Got as a kid. Oh my gosh. I'm trying to remember.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You know what I really loved? I got a Teddy Ruxpin.
- 1:31Speaker 1: How about that? Does anybody remember that? That's how old
- 1:34Speaker 1: I am. You don't need to know the number. You
- 1:36Speaker 1: just need to know that I got a Teddy Ruxpin.
- 1:38Speaker 2: This was like kind of AI before its time. This
- 1:42Speaker 2: was a bear who you put a cassette tape in
- 1:44Speaker 2: his back, closed it up, pushed play, and his mouth
- 1:47Speaker 2: moved sort of like the.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Chuck E.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Cheese type of characters. Mouth moved with the story that
- 1:53Speaker 2: he told. And then he had a buddy named Grubby
- 1:56Speaker 2: who was like a worm or something. And I got
- 1:58Speaker 2: him as a Christmas gift. They were sitting out together.
- 2:01Speaker 2: But I got that Teddy Ruxpin for birthday. My most
- 2:05Speaker 2: memorable birthday, though, was I think it was when I
- 2:10Speaker 2: was in fifth grade and my parents threw a surprise
- 2:13Speaker 2: party for me. And I was absolutely terrified, scared out
- 2:16Speaker 2: of my wits.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I came upstairs.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I'd gone to my grandma's house to like open her
- 2:20Speaker 2: birthday gifts. And I came home and come up the
- 2:22Speaker 2: stairs and there's this just like entire room full of
- 2:26Speaker 2: kids that.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Are like, surprise. I was so freaked out.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I ran back downstairs, ran into the garage, like crying.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And I know my parents were like, well, that worked
- 2:34Speaker 2: out great.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Nailed it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Um, yeah, those are, those are some memories. And we did,
- 2:40Speaker 2: you know, these birthday parties today are outrageous. These kids'
- 2:44Speaker 2: birthday parties are totally crazy these days.
- 2:47Speaker 1: They really go all over the top. I mean, don't
- 2:49Speaker 1: even try it down in Palm beach.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Forget it. I, my kids one time asked, one of
- 2:53Speaker 2: my kids asked, can we go to McDonald's for his birthday?
- 2:55Speaker 1: I said, absolutely. That was it. We're done.
- 2:59Speaker 2: These other, these families are literally paying like thousands and
- 3:02Speaker 2: thousands of dollars to set up displays. And you got
- 3:05Speaker 2: the whole thing going on. I try to steer away
- 3:08Speaker 2: from that at my house personally. Um, Back in the day,
- 3:11Speaker 2: we did stuff like Duck, Duck, Goose in my parents' driveway.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That's all. So a little different these days. I'm still
- 3:18Speaker 1: trying to keep it real with my kids.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Are you going to have any more children?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Did Eric Trump send this question in? Yeah, this guy's
- 3:28Speaker 1: on me to have some more kids. Here's my problem,
- 3:32Speaker 1: all right? You do get to a certain age and
- 3:35Speaker 1: you're like, I don't know. I feel like I've kind
- 3:38Speaker 1: of put.
- 3:38Speaker 2: My time in with this kid stuff. Because every parent
- 3:41Speaker 2: out there understands this. There is a window of time
- 3:44Speaker 2: where your life is just fully dedicated to that kid.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I mean, because they're just infants. They're like little blobs
- 3:52Speaker 2: and they eat and they sleep and they cry and
- 3:54Speaker 2: you change their diaper. And that's like what they do.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And then they get a little bigger and then they
- 3:58Speaker 2: start walking. And then you can't let them out of
- 4:00Speaker 2: your sight anywhere because they're going to hurt themselves or
- 4:02Speaker 2: someone else or whatever. And once you get out of
- 4:05Speaker 2: that window, when your kids are out of diapers... And
- 4:09Speaker 2: they're a little bit self-sufficient.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And you get your life back in some sense.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And also then your kids do stuff like, I'm honestly
- 4:19Speaker 2: so impressed with my kids. And maybe this is just
- 4:21Speaker 2: an every parent thing. When I go to my daughter's
- 4:23Speaker 2: soccer game and she scores.
- 4:25Speaker 1: A goal and I'm like, oh.
- 4:26Speaker 2: My God, my kid can actually do stuff. And my
- 4:29Speaker 2: son is up to bat and every other kid is
- 4:31Speaker 2: swinging out. And my son who's played, this is a
- 4:34Speaker 2: second season of baseball, gets on first base.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'm like, This is the greatest thing that I've ever experienced.
- 4:41Speaker 2: So it's awesome. And I love kids, but now I'm
- 4:44Speaker 2: in a, I'm in a unique place. So the idea
- 4:46Speaker 2: that I'm going to go start back at scratch, I
- 4:48Speaker 2: don't know. I got rid of all my like diaper
- 4:50Speaker 2: genies all over my house. I got rid of all
- 4:52Speaker 2: that stuff. We cleaned it out because we don't need
- 4:54Speaker 2: it anymore.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm out of that phase. I would never say no. Listen,
- 4:59Speaker 1: if God wants this to happen, he's going to make
- 5:01Speaker 1: it happen for me. Two is great. I got one
- 5:04Speaker 1: of each. I feel all set here.
- 5:06Speaker 2: All right, I've got an urgent warning for every hardworking
- 5:08Speaker 2: American who's retired or close to it. We're standing at
- 5:12Speaker 2: a critical tipping point and the countdown ends on Tuesday,
- 5:16Speaker 2: November 3rd. We're witnessing a fierce political struggle where radical
- 5:20Speaker 2: policies could gain a stranglehold over Washington. If these far
- 5:25Speaker 2: left platforms succeed, the economic fallout could be devastating for
- 5:29Speaker 2: your retirement account. Doing nothing may no longer be an option.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's why I teamed up with my partners at Gold Co.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Gold Co. is my company of choice. They do right
- 5:38Speaker 1: by their customers.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And right now they're offering you, my audience, a free
- 5:43Speaker 2: gold and silver kit to show you the ropes and
- 5:46Speaker 2: actually educate you about the power of gold and silver.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Plus you could qualify for an extra 10% in free
- 5:51Speaker 2: silver just for getting started. Don't let this offer pass
- 5:55Speaker 2: you by. Reach out to Gold Co. before November 3rd.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Head over to laralikesgold.com. That's laralikesgold.com. You mentioned spaceflight on
- 6:05Speaker 2: your Fox show. Why not tie in with Elon Musk,
- 6:09Speaker 2: head up to space in one of his SpaceX missions, then.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Do your show live, obviously.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You will go down in history as the first person
- 6:16Speaker 2: to conduct a live TV show in history.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You know, at this point, I think you're right. I
- 6:20Speaker 1: think we should just do that. I mean, why wouldn't I?
- 6:24Speaker 1: You know, what's funny is.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Eric Trump is really into the idea of going to space.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He always talks about, I mean, since I've known him
- 6:32Speaker 2: for 150 years, Eric's talked about wanting to go to space.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And he's also talked about flying in fighter jets.
- 6:39Speaker 1: One of the two of us flew in a fighter
- 6:41Speaker 1: jet first. It was me. And then Eric did. And
- 6:47Speaker 1: then I flew in another one. And then Eric did.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So maybe I need to set the precedent here with
- 6:54Speaker 2: the SpaceX flight.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I would love it. I would absolutely love it. Here's
- 6:58Speaker 1: what I don't want to do.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I don't want to do the Katy Perry, Blue Origin, fake,
- 7:04Speaker 2: we went up to Earth's atmosphere and then came back down.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I think if you do it, you've got to do it.
- 7:09Speaker 2: My reservations about space aren't the dangers or any of
- 7:14Speaker 2: that stuff. It is that, first of all, the muscle
- 7:18Speaker 2: loss you have. Yeah, I know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm one of those. You guys already know this.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You significantly lose muscle in space because your body's doing nothing.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I mean, they worked out in space. You're not maintaining anything.
- 7:31Speaker 2: You are atrophying everything while you're in space. And people
- 7:36Speaker 2: come back.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I mean, I'll be honest. They come back looking a
- 7:38Speaker 1: little rough. I don't know. I'm trying to keep it
- 7:41Speaker 1: together here. You know what I mean? So we need.
- 7:45Speaker 2: To kind of update the protocols for skincare and maybe.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Some exercise in space. And then I'm all in. you got,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I will go, I will a hundred percent go.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Um, and I'll let you know the idea of the
- 7:59Speaker 2: first live television interview in space.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm in, I'm all for that.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Next question. Favorite gun to shoot. Ooh, you know, I
- 8:07Speaker 1: love a Glock. I find them very, they're very user-friendly.
- 8:11Speaker 1: They're very straightforward. I love to do a nice like
- 8:13Speaker 1: rack of things.
- 8:14Speaker 2: My husband has throughout the course of the time we've
- 8:18Speaker 2: been together taught me a lot about shooting and And
- 8:22Speaker 2: he used to set up little scenarios with a Glock
- 8:25Speaker 2: specifically and other pistols. But that's my like, I'm very
- 8:30Speaker 2: comfortable with it. Also got one by my bedside.
- 8:33Speaker 1: So don't try anything. Break into my house. We live
- 8:35Speaker 1: in Florida. That's it.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But he would put like empty shells in there and
- 8:41Speaker 2: he would put things in there that would jam. So
- 8:43Speaker 2: I would have to like figure out how to like
- 8:44Speaker 2: dump them out and keep shooting.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I love that. It's so fun. But there's also.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Something really fun about, you know, shooting like an automatic
- 8:54Speaker 2: rifle is pretty fun as well. I've done some fun
- 8:57Speaker 2: stuff in Las Vegas out in the desert where they
- 9:00Speaker 2: just give you, they got all kinds of, I don't know,
- 9:02Speaker 2: it must just be a free-for-all out there.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Love it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I've had a lot of fun times shooting some semi-auto
- 9:10Speaker 2: and auto stuff as well. It'll really like throw you
- 9:13Speaker 2: back the recoil, but it's a good time.
- 9:16Speaker 1: But I think it's good. Listen, I think everyone should.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Educate themselves in terms of firearms because it demystifies it
- 9:23Speaker 2: a little bit, especially for kids. You hear these horror
- 9:27Speaker 2: stories about kids whose parents have their shotgun and a
- 9:32Speaker 2: couple of pistols locked up in a closet and the
- 9:36Speaker 2: kids aren't allowed to go in there and touch them.
- 9:38Speaker 2: But then one day the kids figure out how to
- 9:40Speaker 2: break in or they find where the key is and
- 9:41Speaker 2: then they start messing around with stuff and bad things happen.
- 9:45Speaker 2: So For us, Eric and I wanted to teach our
- 9:48Speaker 2: kids safety and protocol around firearms and demystify it a
- 9:53Speaker 2: little bit so that not only do they understand it
- 9:56Speaker 2: and it's not like, ooh, let's go check this out,
- 9:58Speaker 2: but they also, if they ever you know, in the
- 10:01Speaker 2: future when they're adults want to go out and shoot,
- 10:04Speaker 2: they know the safety stuff because you have to know that.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Some of these people out there are just, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 2: turning around with a gun in their hand.
- 10:12Speaker 1: You guys got to do better than that. You got
- 10:13Speaker 1: to make sure it's open. Nothing's inside. Never point a
- 10:16Speaker 1: gun at anybody.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Even A gun that's got, you know, no bullets and unchambered, never.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Pointed at anybody. So I don't know. I got off
- 10:25Speaker 1: on a tangent there, but Glocks are my favorite.
- 10:27Speaker 2: What's a memory from any of the three legendary Trump
- 10:31Speaker 2: election nights that you haven't shared yet?
- 10:37Speaker 1: My gosh, I'm trying to think. I feel like I've
- 10:41Speaker 1: kind of shared a lot.
- 10:42Speaker 2: The... The night of the 2016 election is probably honestly
- 10:49Speaker 2: the most memorable. I was so exhausted in the 2024
- 10:52Speaker 2: election night. I barely survived that night. I mean, I
- 10:56Speaker 2: was on one hour of sleep, if you can call
- 10:59Speaker 2: it that. I slept on the floor of the plane
- 11:01Speaker 2: on the way back from Grand Rapids, Michigan, for what
- 11:03Speaker 2: I assume was around an hour.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And then as soon as we landed, it was just on.
- 11:06Speaker 1: We had all things going. Um, and it was just
- 11:09Speaker 1: a slog to the end there.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So I was so tired and just so spent and
- 11:14Speaker 2: I was the co-chair of the Republican party and God
- 11:16Speaker 2: knows I was going to work every second of every
- 11:18Speaker 2: day to make sure we won that election.
- 11:21Speaker 1: And I was so tired.
- 11:22Speaker 2: So I, my memories of that night, to be honest,
- 11:25Speaker 2: are not the best.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Cause I was so just like done.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But 2016, I remember being in my father-in-law's apartment and
- 11:33Speaker 2: And that's where we kind of all gathered after we
- 11:36Speaker 2: left the campaign office downstairs in Trump Tower. A smaller
- 11:40Speaker 2: group of us migrated up to his kitchen, as it
- 11:44Speaker 2: turns out, because doesn't everyone always end up in a kitchen?
- 11:48Speaker 1: And imagine this.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You're in Donald Trump's apartment, right? What is his apartment?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Two stories, right? In Trump Tower, two enormous floors in
- 11:55Speaker 2: Trump Tower. You've got TVs all over the place. We
- 11:59Speaker 2: are watching the results come in on.
- 12:01Speaker 1: A TV set. How about yay big?
- 12:03Speaker 2: Okay. All people gathered around together, all the campaign kind
- 12:08Speaker 2: of heads of the campaign and whatnot. And it was
- 12:12Speaker 2: pretty evident at a certain point that we were going
- 12:16Speaker 2: to have to make some moves. And I thought it
- 12:18Speaker 2: was really amazing because Donald Trump is pretty superstitious and
- 12:23Speaker 2: he had not written a victory speech or, or the.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Other he hadn't written anything.
- 12:32Speaker 2: No speech was written whatsoever. So he was just going
- 12:35Speaker 2: to kind of wait it out. I think he thought
- 12:37Speaker 2: in his mind, if you write either like a concession
- 12:40Speaker 2: or a victory speech, then you're kind of setting the
- 12:42Speaker 2: future in some way. And he didn't want to jinx anything.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So he just didn't do anything. And so then when
- 12:47Speaker 2: it became evident that we were going to have to
- 12:48Speaker 2: go do something at down the street at the Hilton hotel,
- 12:53Speaker 2: because we had a crowd of people there and it
- 12:55Speaker 2: was almost three in the morning, um, Right after we
- 12:59Speaker 2: got a call from the AP that Donald Trump had won,
- 13:03Speaker 2: he sat down to write his victory speech, which is
- 13:06Speaker 2: pretty amazing that he waited until that moment to do so.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So I don't know if I've told that story. Maybe,
- 13:12Speaker 1: maybe I haven't. Okay, here we go. Final question.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Love mayo and banana sandwiches too. Duke's or Hellman's? Duke's
- 13:24Speaker 2: is the only way for us. You know what's funny
- 13:26Speaker 2: is it's kind of how you grew up. We did
- 13:28Speaker 2: not use Duke's mayonnaise in my house. I know some
- 13:31Speaker 2: people are going to hate me for that.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Talk to my parents. Talk to my mom. She was
- 13:36Speaker 2: the one out buying this stuff. We always had Hellman's.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I know. So I don't know what to tell you.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And what's crazy is if you go in my refrigerator
- 13:45Speaker 2: right now, I do not have any mayonnaise.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I don't think in my refrigerator. Do I have it?
- 13:50Speaker 2: Maybe, maybe a little jar like that big. We don't
- 13:52Speaker 2: use a lot of mayo at my house for much.
- 13:55Speaker 2: We're trying to do healthier versions of things, Maha, this stuff.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So yeah, I know. I'm so sorry. I wish I
- 14:04Speaker 1: could say we were Dukes, but we weren't. We were Hellmans.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's it. All right.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That's going to do it for us for this episode
- 14:09Speaker 2: of Laura Trump. Wanted for questioning, send us more under
