- 0:11Speaker 1: That's right.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It is Friday, and it's time for the Stardom Cinnam Show.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Welcome everybody to Week sixteen. I'm Marcus Grant, That's Michael F. Florio,
- 0:18Speaker 2: and the Fantasy playoffs are underway, semi final week and
- 0:22Speaker 2: a lot of fantasy playoffs have already begun. Got going
- 0:25Speaker 2: on Thursday night with the Rams and the Saints right
- 0:28Speaker 2: over there at Sofi Stadium. Meantime, we're gonna take you
- 0:31Speaker 2: through the rest of Week sixteen. You got a busy
- 0:34Speaker 2: week because not only you have a ton of teams
- 0:36Speaker 2: in the playoffs. I know you're gonna be at so
- 0:37Speaker 2: Fi for Bill's Chargers on Saturday.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I am. The only question is how much Bills stuff?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Should I wear too?
- 0:43Speaker 2: All of it?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I asked Nicolett, I was like, should I
- 0:46Speaker 3: wear my like Bill's socks too? And She's like, no, no, no,
- 0:49Speaker 3: maybe don't do that. But I think I'm gonna.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I think you wear all of the things. I think
- 0:52Speaker 2: that's just what you do because I think the Bills
- 0:54Speaker 2: are gonna win fairly easily in that one. In the meantime,
- 0:57Speaker 2: we got a lot to talk about. Of course, Florio
- 0:59Speaker 2: writes to start them Sindham column. You can read that
- 1:01Speaker 2: every single week at NFL dot com Slash Start Sit
- 1:04Speaker 2: we will talk about his top starts and sits, because
- 1:07Speaker 2: that's the name of the show. I also going to
- 1:09Speaker 2: tell you who's going to pile up the points and
- 1:10Speaker 2: the Kwan Jones, and I'm sure a pretty fire Shirt's
- 1:12Speaker 2: gonna come by a little bit later to talk about
- 1:15Speaker 2: some streamers. But let's get started with the quarterback list
- 1:18Speaker 2: for week sixteen. Taking a look at your starts and sits.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Who you got?
- 1:23Speaker 3: Justin Fields is in play. I think gonna bounce back
- 1:25Speaker 3: spot Brock Purdy. I don't care about the matchup. He's
- 1:28Speaker 3: too good to get away from. Jake Browning is in play.
- 1:31Speaker 3: And the fourth name there, that was Matthew Stafford. Hopefully
- 1:34Speaker 3: you started him the sis. Russell Wilson will talk about him.
- 1:37Speaker 3: It's all over for Sam Howe. You can go ahead
- 1:39Speaker 3: and drop him now with the matchups that he has
- 1:41Speaker 3: left Minshew and then I'm not chasing the points from
- 1:44Speaker 3: last week eight and O'Connell. That said more about the
- 1:46Speaker 3: Chargers than it did AOC one hundred percent about that. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 3: that was less about the Raiders, more about the guys
- 1:51Speaker 3: on the other side with the lightning bolts on their helmets.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Let's go back to Jake Browning because he's been a
- 1:56Speaker 2: pretty good starter ever since Joe Burrow went down. Did
- 1:59Speaker 2: not have great game the last time he faced the
- 2:02Speaker 2: Steelers though, a few weeks ago, but you believe he's
- 2:04Speaker 2: gonna bounce back this week.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 2:06Speaker 3: That was his first start when he faced the Steelers.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Since then, in his last three twenty three Fantasy points
- 2:12Speaker 3: per game nearly three hundred and twenty passing yards per game.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Even with that down performance, he is the sixth best
- 2:18Speaker 3: fantasy quarterback in the last month, and the Steelers their
- 2:21Speaker 3: last two games twenty or more fantasy points to Gardner
- 2:25Speaker 3: Minshew and Bailey Zappi. So yeah, I think you stick
- 2:28Speaker 3: with what has been working as of late, and that
- 2:31Speaker 3: is Jake Browning, even though I am unfortunately facing him
- 2:35Speaker 3: in our Fantasy Live league.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I mean, we were worried about what Jake Browning was
- 2:38Speaker 2: going to do, whether or not we could start any
- 2:40Speaker 2: of our Bengals, and look, it's not exactly the same
- 2:43Speaker 2: as it was with Joe Burrow, but it's been pretty
- 2:45Speaker 2: good with.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Jake Browning so far at quarterback.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Russell Wilson, You and I were talking about this
- 2:51Speaker 2: just a few days ago, that Russell Wilson is actually
- 2:53Speaker 2: playing better this year than he did last year, but
- 2:56Speaker 2: in fantasy you're still only getting like fifteen to seventeen
- 2:59Speaker 2: points from him. It hasn't really translated to the fantasy numbers.
- 3:02Speaker 2: This week, He's got the Patriots. Their offense stinks, their
- 3:05Speaker 2: defense does not. Though.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I think this man right here, because I like
- 3:09Speaker 3: to think this is Bill Belichick's He's gonna make life
- 3:12Speaker 3: tough on Russell Wilson this week. And like Marcus just said,
- 3:16Speaker 3: save floor like fifteen to seventeen points every week. The
- 3:19Speaker 3: issue is, Russell Wilson hasn't reached eighteen in five straight games.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Now he gets to Patriots, who since week eleven, I
- 3:28Speaker 3: mean since week ten, I mean, only Mitchell Trubisky has
- 3:30Speaker 3: topped sixteen fantasy points against his Patriots defense, and most
- 3:33Speaker 3: of that came in garbage time, with a rushing touchdown
- 3:36Speaker 3: mixed in there as well. They held Mahomes a fewer
- 3:38Speaker 3: than sixteen justin Herbert and Garner Minshew to single digits
- 3:42Speaker 3: against them, So, in what could be a low scoring
- 3:45Speaker 3: rock fight, kind of game. I think you try to
- 3:47Speaker 3: get away from Russell Wilson.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I mean you talk about him just hitting the eighteen
- 3:51Speaker 2: points once over the last few weeks. He's only done
- 3:53Speaker 2: at once since Week six. I mean we go back,
- 3:56Speaker 2: we have to go back aways for him to have
- 3:57Speaker 2: actually put together back to back eighteen point game. So
- 4:00Speaker 2: that's kind of what it's been for Russell Wilson. Those
- 4:03Speaker 2: are the quarterbacks. Let's talk some wide receivers. The guy's
- 4:06Speaker 2: catching the football this week? Who do you like as
- 4:08Speaker 2: a start and a sit?
- 4:10Speaker 3: I think Stefan Diggs. Look, call me a homer all
- 4:12Speaker 3: you want. He's paying the Chargers, you play him. Rashid
- 4:16Speaker 3: Rice is the Chiefs wide receiver one. Dee Higgins is
- 4:19Speaker 3: now the Bengals wide receiver one. Jordan Addison, I'll take
- 4:22Speaker 3: the l on him. Last week, Calvin Ridley even in
- 4:26Speaker 3: what the great matchup is in play? And then the
- 4:28Speaker 3: sis Terry McLaurin. It hurts me to say, but the
- 4:31Speaker 3: Jets are a tough matchup. Marquise Brown not looking like
- 4:34Speaker 3: he's gonna suit up, but have a plan for him
- 4:36Speaker 3: whether or not he does. Adam feeln and the ultimate
- 4:39Speaker 3: boomer bust option in game. Davis is one that I
- 4:42Speaker 3: think I'm gonna try to play it safe with.
- 4:43Speaker 2: All Right, so let's kind of break some of these down.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Individual You mentioned Jordan Addison. You were off of him
- 4:49Speaker 2: last week. I admit that I was not all that
- 4:51Speaker 2: excited about him. I didn't know what Nickmullins was going
- 4:53Speaker 2: to do. We talked about Nick Mullins did not have
- 4:56Speaker 2: a good actual real life game, but he had a
- 4:59Speaker 2: good fantasy game. Jordan Edison just had a straight up
- 5:01Speaker 2: good game regardless.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and so like two touchdowns. The second one I
- 5:05Speaker 3: watched and I was like, what are you doing letting
- 5:07Speaker 3: Nick Mullens throw that ball? But hey, he caught it.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It was a touchdown, And yeah, I'll take the l
- 5:12Speaker 3: for last week. Addison had been struggling. It was a
- 5:15Speaker 3: third string quarterback. But he looks Nick Mullens looks like
- 5:19Speaker 3: a better passer for this Vikings passing attack than Josh
- 5:22Speaker 3: Dobbs has been. So I think that puts Jordan Addison
- 5:25Speaker 3: in play, especially this week as the Lions have really
- 5:28Speaker 3: struggled against wide receivers. It's going to be a game,
- 5:31Speaker 3: in my opinion, where the Vikings have to put up
- 5:33Speaker 3: points because the Lions will get plenty of their own,
- 5:35Speaker 3: which probably means more throwing. So because of all that,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I think Jordan Addison remains in play.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I mean, he continues to have a very good rookie season.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I know, you know, we talk about rookie receivers, Pukaakua
- 5:45Speaker 2: comes to the top of the list, but let's not
- 5:47Speaker 2: overlook what Jordan Addison has done over the majority of
- 5:51Speaker 2: the year.
- 5:51Speaker 1: This year for the Vikings.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Calvin Ridley, I mean, you talk about a guy who just, yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 2: some weeks it seems great. Some weeks he seems to
- 5:58Speaker 2: sort of disappear. Without Christian Kirk, Calvin Ridley has really
- 6:01Speaker 2: stepped to the forefront for the Jaguars and then it's
- 6:04Speaker 2: a great matchup this week against the Bucks.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Exactly the reason is why I love Calvin Ridley this
- 6:10Speaker 3: week twenty five targets in his last two games combined.
- 6:13Speaker 3: He leads the NFL with seventeen end zone targets. I
- 6:16Speaker 3: know it becomes a weekly game of isly going to
- 6:19Speaker 3: make a miraculous catch in the end zone for a
- 6:21Speaker 3: touchdown or not? But the Bucks have allowed the second
- 6:24Speaker 3: most yards to wide receivers, their top four in yards
- 6:26Speaker 3: and touchdowns on deep passes. We know that he'll get
- 6:29Speaker 3: a couple of downfield shots. So whether or not Trevor
- 6:32Speaker 3: Lawrence plays, I think you could start Calvin Ridley. He
- 6:34Speaker 3: just becomes a lot more volatile if it's not Trevor
- 6:37Speaker 3: Lawrence throwing.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think that's sort of the issue there.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now. Trevor Lawrence did practice on Friday, still got to
- 6:44Speaker 2: wait to see whether or not he clears concussion protocol
- 6:46Speaker 2: and is able to go this week against Tampa Bay.
- 6:49Speaker 2: You mentioned Gabe Davis, the ultimate boomer bust, right. He
- 6:51Speaker 2: has been the cardio king of the week on Fantasy Live.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I think at least four times, maybe five. He's got
- 6:57Speaker 2: multiple games with zero point zero, zero points. It's the
- 7:00Speaker 2: Blueto Blue Tarski. For those of you who are of
- 7:02Speaker 2: a certain age, the Chargers this week, I mean, you
- 7:06Speaker 2: couldn't really ask for a better matchup than that, But
- 7:09Speaker 2: you are still not starting Gabe Davis.
- 7:11Speaker 3: The only way I would play Gabe Davis is if
- 7:13Speaker 3: like you're a huge underdog and you need to swing
- 7:16Speaker 3: for the fences, because he could have like a twenty
- 7:18Speaker 3: point game this week. I'm not saying he can't. The
- 7:20Speaker 3: issue is in three of the four games with Joe
- 7:22Speaker 3: Brady as the Bills offensive coordinator, he has not scored
- 7:25Speaker 3: a single Fantasy point and in those three games he
- 7:28Speaker 3: has four targets combined or three targets, so no volume
- 7:34Speaker 3: going his way. It's been more Digs and Kincaid and Shakir.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But the matchup again, does always lead to a high ceiling.
- 7:41Speaker 3: If you're in a close game looking for a safe floor,
- 7:43Speaker 3: Davis is not the play for you, only if you
- 7:45Speaker 3: are swinging for the fences.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I think he tried to get him in.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I just have this weird feeling. There's nothing analytical to
- 7:50Speaker 2: sort of back this up, but just that they're gonna
- 7:52Speaker 2: overcorrect because he has been not involved at all, that
- 7:56Speaker 2: somehow they just get him really heavily involved. That seems
- 7:59Speaker 2: I've been the k I'm.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Hoping that that narrative goes to Diggs not.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Game is each too. No, no, no, He's a first
- 8:06Speaker 2: choice absolutely, but gave Davis, like, you know, this could
- 8:08Speaker 2: be a game where all of a sudden he's got
- 8:09Speaker 2: like three catches for like a buck ten like a
- 8:11Speaker 2: touchdown or.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Something sounds like three hundred yards and multiple touchdowns for
- 8:15Speaker 3: Josh Allen to me, not out of the question against
- 8:18Speaker 3: the Chargers.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Also not out of the question. Is us coming back
- 8:21Speaker 2: and talking some more starts? And since we got running
- 8:23Speaker 2: backs and tight ends, stick around for more of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: Stardum Sidham Show. What's More Holiday Than Football? The Holiday
- 8:35Speaker 2: Classic is back on NFL Network. Christmas Eve is a
- 8:38Speaker 2: special night of primetime football as the New England Patriots
- 8:41Speaker 2: take on the Denver Broncos. It's the NFL Holiday Classics, Sunday,
- 8:46Speaker 2: eight pm Eastern only on NFL Network and streaming on
- 8:50Speaker 2: NFL Plus. Down to take a look at some start
- 8:53Speaker 2: running backs for Week sixteen.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Florido Go James Cook is as must start as it
- 8:59Speaker 3: can be be On Robinson, I think is going to
- 9:01Speaker 3: bounce back in a big way this week. Same thing
- 9:03Speaker 3: with Derek Henry, DeAndre Swift keeps getting a lot of
- 9:06Speaker 3: volume and speaking to volume. Ezekiel Elliott far too much
- 9:09Speaker 3: to get away from in a great matchup. Some sis
- 9:12Speaker 3: javont because again I'm worried about this Broncos offense against
- 9:15Speaker 3: the Patriots. Jerome Ford because the Texans have been one
- 9:18Speaker 3: of the hardest matchups for running backs. Najee Harris has
- 9:21Speaker 3: given you nothing as of late. You have to get
- 9:23Speaker 3: away and Gus Edwards because forty nine ers.
- 9:26Speaker 2: All right, So let's kind of dive into some of
- 9:28Speaker 2: these individually. DeAndre Swift going against the Giants. The Eagles sputtering.
- 9:34Speaker 2: They've lost three in a row right now, people are
- 9:37Speaker 2: panicking in Philadelphia. They're turning over cheese, steak trucks, the
- 9:40Speaker 2: whole thing. They're not running the ball super effectively. But
- 9:44Speaker 2: you do think DeAndre Swift can break through against big blow?
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and Eagles fans who are freaking out. Just it
- 9:50Speaker 3: might be better to go on the road and face
- 9:51Speaker 3: the winner of the NFC South than to win your
- 9:53Speaker 3: division and play the Rams at home. Just food for thought.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But DeAndre Swift very much so in play. I know
- 9:59Speaker 3: last week was a floor game with nine point five
- 10:01Speaker 3: Fantasy points, but twenty touches sixty percent of the carries.
- 10:06Speaker 3: He got stopped at the goal line only to watch
- 10:08Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts punch it in. Yeah, I know that that
- 10:10Speaker 3: part's a little annoying, but the volume is what we want,
- 10:13Speaker 3: especially in a matchup against the Giants, who allowed the
- 10:15Speaker 3: third most rushing yards to running backs this year, tenth
- 10:18Speaker 3: most fantasy points, third most rushing touchdowns. So yeah, I
- 10:22Speaker 3: think this is a game where if the Eagles have
- 10:23Speaker 3: a lead as well, they're not gonna be trailing like
- 10:26Speaker 3: they have been as of late. So probably a lot
- 10:28Speaker 3: of DeAndre Swift to grind out the gap.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, this feels like a get right game. I keep
- 10:31Speaker 2: saying the Eagles just went through a gauntlet. I mean
- 10:34Speaker 2: just the stretch they went through a lot. Five games
- 10:37Speaker 2: be hard for any team. I think this is a
- 10:38Speaker 2: chance for them to bounce back. Meanwhile, the Ravens and
- 10:41Speaker 2: the forty nine Ers, that is how the weekend ends
- 10:43Speaker 2: on Monday Night should be a great game too. Very
- 10:47Speaker 2: good offenses to very good defenses. How do you feel
- 10:50Speaker 2: about Gus the Bus Edwards against that Niner run defense.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I'm very scared of that forty nine Ers run defense.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I do not love starting running backs against them, especially
- 10:59Speaker 3: safe floor or running backs, and that's what Gus Edwards
- 11:02Speaker 3: typically has been when Keaton Mitchell is not in there.
- 11:05Speaker 3: But he does not have a game this year with
- 11:08Speaker 3: double digit fantasy points without a rushing touchdown. The forty
- 11:12Speaker 3: nine Ers have allowed the second fewest rushing yards, seventh
- 11:15Speaker 3: fewest fantasy points per game. They are very stingy. They
- 11:19Speaker 3: don't allow a bunch of running backs either. Lamar is
- 11:21Speaker 3: always a threat, so not Look. I understand some of
- 11:25Speaker 3: you in a pinch who I need to start him
- 11:26Speaker 3: because of volume, But if I have options, I'm gonna
- 11:29Speaker 3: choose the one that is not facing the forty nine Ers.
- 11:32Speaker 2: The other part of that, though, is he does play
- 11:34Speaker 2: the very last game, So you gotta make your decision
- 11:36Speaker 2: early about what you're gonna do with Gus Edwards because.
- 11:38Speaker 1: There's no going back once you make that move.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And against to Monday, let's turn our attention out to
- 11:44Speaker 2: tight ends four week sixteen. Always the names are kind
- 11:48Speaker 2: of the names at this point, But who do you
- 11:49Speaker 2: like to start?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Who do you like as a set?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Evan Ingram because volume Isaiah likely will talk about even
- 11:55Speaker 3: in a tough matchup. David Njoku is a must start option.
- 11:58Speaker 3: In that fourth name, it was some hill. I apologize
- 12:01Speaker 3: this six Kyle Pitts. I'm washing my hands clean of
- 12:04Speaker 3: him as long as Arthur Smith is the head coach
- 12:06Speaker 3: Gerald Everett because it could just be an ugly game
- 12:09Speaker 3: for the Chargers. Logan Thomas has fallen out of favor
- 12:12Speaker 3: as of late and Michael Mayer, I know, caught a
- 12:15Speaker 3: touchdown last week. He's more a tight end to get
- 12:17Speaker 3: excited about next year, not in the fantasy.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Playoff Michael Mayer definitely with dynasty vibes as opposed to
- 12:22Speaker 2: I need him in my second week of the playoff vibes.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Let's talk about though, Isaiah Likely. You mentioned it, you're
- 12:28Speaker 2: worried about the matchup with Gus Edwards against the forty
- 12:31Speaker 2: nine ers run defense. You seem like you feel a
- 12:33Speaker 2: little more confident about Isaiah Likely against the Niners pass defense.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Yeah. In three games without Mark Andrews this year, he
- 12:40Speaker 3: has scored eight, nineteen and eighteen fantasy points, good for
- 12:44Speaker 3: fifteen fantasy points per game. Basically, Mark Andrews and the
- 12:48Speaker 3: forty nine Ers. I know they look like a tough
- 12:50Speaker 3: matchup on paper, but since Week eleven, they've allowed these
- 12:54Speaker 3: second most yards to tight ends. They just gave up
- 12:56Speaker 3: a really big day to Trey McBride, and the forty
- 13:00Speaker 3: nine Ers are going to score points. So the Ravens
- 13:03Speaker 3: might actually have to throw the ball more than usual
- 13:05Speaker 3: in this game. And Isaiah Likely is a top target
- 13:08Speaker 3: for Lamar Jackson. So I think you just keep starting men.
- 13:10Speaker 2: He's a good talented player, and he's getting volume in
- 13:13Speaker 2: that passing game. It makes it hard to get away
- 13:14Speaker 2: from him regardless of the situation. Meanwhile, Gerald Effett, you know,
- 13:19Speaker 2: I think I've sort of given up on trying to
- 13:21Speaker 2: fit Gerald Everett into a lineup somewhere. I kept trying it,
- 13:24Speaker 2: and Donald Parham kept ruining my dreams. So like, I'm
- 13:27Speaker 2: done having my heart broken. Don't love the matchup against
- 13:30Speaker 2: the Bills. Don't really love the Chargers offense with Easton Stick.
- 13:34Speaker 2: This feels like an easy sit call.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yeah, And the thing is Everett, like you, I'm the
- 13:39Speaker 3: same way a lot of weeks when I'm in a pension,
- 13:41Speaker 3: I need a tight end. If the way everywhere, I'm like, oh,
- 13:42Speaker 3: Gerald Everett, he's usually good for like nine to ten
- 13:45Speaker 3: Fantasy points something like that. But when you're a safe
- 13:48Speaker 3: floor option and a bad matchup, that floor gets lowered.
- 13:51Speaker 3: And that's exactly what the Bills are. Since Week eleven,
- 13:54Speaker 3: they've allowed fewer than two hundred yards to tight ends,
- 13:57Speaker 3: no touchdowns in just a fifty seven Hasser rating on
- 14:00Speaker 3: those targets to the position. So in what could be
- 14:03Speaker 3: an ugly game, I would try to get away from
- 14:05Speaker 3: gerald evert Geraldever.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's like it's like that time I think in college,
- 14:08Speaker 2: I went and got the non craft macaroni and cheese
- 14:11Speaker 2: because I'm like, it's slightly cheaper. And then I got
- 14:13Speaker 2: home and I'm like, that's why I didn't I a
- 14:15Speaker 2: reason why she was the reason why it's cheaper completely,
- 14:18Speaker 2: And that's kind of how I feel about joded Ever, Like, hey.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It seems out there, seems like a great idea.
- 14:21Speaker 2: And then like it's it's not a great idea. It's
- 14:23Speaker 2: not about you, Gerald, it's just about the offense. And
- 14:26Speaker 2: now with the Eastern stick there quarterback, yeah, even less reason
- 14:29Speaker 2: to be excited about what could be coming up. Lakwan
- 14:33Speaker 2: Jones joins us to talk some streamers, plus take it
- 14:36Speaker 2: a little trip to Club Dub time to sign up
- 14:44Speaker 2: for the stream team. We're gonna talk some streamers, go
- 14:47Speaker 2: quarterbacks and kickers because kickers deserve love too. To help
- 14:50Speaker 2: us out with that research, our extraordinary and fire shirt enthusiasts,
- 14:54Speaker 2: Lakwan Jones, we have sort of like an unofficial company
- 14:57Speaker 2: holiday party, a bunch of us about a week ago
- 15:00Speaker 2: and Florio and I and some others sort of bullied
- 15:02Speaker 2: you into wearing that shirt today.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you sure did.
- 15:05Speaker 2: We're here today.
- 15:07Speaker 1: But it's great.
- 15:07Speaker 2: It works with all this season. It's very Christmas. See
- 15:10Speaker 2: Florio here is dressed in red and green. I'm dressed
- 15:13Speaker 2: like crampis because, like I don't know, I just embad
- 15:15Speaker 2: at planning. Just leave me alone. Let's start though, with
- 15:18Speaker 2: some streaming quarterback options for the week, and it only
- 15:23Speaker 2: makes sense that a guy from Jersey is going to
- 15:24Speaker 2: plug a guy from Jersey here.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Yeah, of course, Big Jersey man Tommy DeVito has a
- 15:29Speaker 4: opportunity to be a true fantasy hero with the matchup
- 15:33Speaker 4: against the Eagles, who are allowing the second most fantasy
- 15:35Speaker 4: points per game two quarterbacks, and he's been smart with
- 15:38Speaker 4: the football as of late as well. He has hasn't
- 15:41Speaker 4: thrown an interception since Week ten one fumble loss, but
- 15:44Speaker 4: for the most part, he's been smart and cautious with
- 15:46Speaker 4: the football. With some rushing upside, I think he can
- 15:49Speaker 4: come out as clean as he could be to punch
- 15:52Speaker 4: a couple of fantasy managers ticket to the Fantasy Championships
- 15:56Speaker 4: and put some big points on the board.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Florio here is not just this because he's trying
- 16:01Speaker 2: to be weird or lose because he's got a fun
- 16:04Speaker 2: the Veto t shirt. Excited for Tommy here we are here.
- 16:11Speaker 2: He came expressly for the purpose of pumping up not really,
- 16:15Speaker 2: but the watch Fantasy Live. It'll make sense, trust us.
- 16:18Speaker 2: But it did work out for the purposes of this show.
- 16:21Speaker 2: So because Tommy DeVito's off the board is a streaming quarterback, who.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Do you like as a stream I probably should have
- 16:25Speaker 3: gave you this shirt. I don't have a Baker Mayfield shirt,
- 16:28Speaker 3: but I'm excited about Baker Mayfield in this one. I
- 16:32Speaker 3: almost a Tommy Cutletz there. Baker Mayfield sixteen or more
- 16:35Speaker 3: Fantasy points in nine to fourteen games this year, but
- 16:37Speaker 3: his last two twenty or more. Last week was his
- 16:40Speaker 3: best game of the year. Now he gets to Jacks,
- 16:42Speaker 3: who allowed the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks, and
- 16:45Speaker 3: if Trevor Lawrence plays, I think this could be a
- 16:48Speaker 3: high scoring game. So Baker Mayfield, I think, is someone
- 16:51Speaker 3: that is going to punch them tickets to a fantasy champion.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I very much like Baker this week. I keep saying it.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I mean he was an easy punchline at the start
- 16:59Speaker 2: of the season, but he's well, and more importantly, he
- 17:01Speaker 2: has helped elevate Mike Evans and to some point Chris
- 17:04Speaker 2: Godwin as well. I'm gonna go with Geno Smith, and
- 17:07Speaker 2: not just because people will keep randomly telling me I
- 17:09Speaker 2: look like the dude on occasion, but because he is
- 17:13Speaker 2: back under center for the Seattle Seahawks this week and
- 17:16Speaker 2: he's got a great matchup ahead of him against the
- 17:18Speaker 2: Tennessee Titans. We have been picking on the Titans secondary
- 17:22Speaker 2: all year long. This seems like another opportunity to do that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I think DK Metcalf is very much in play this week,
- 17:28Speaker 2: even Tyler Lockett. I know Lockett's been kind of on
- 17:31Speaker 2: the struggle bus this year, but this does seem like
- 17:33Speaker 2: a Tyler Lockett week. And who knows, maybe we even
- 17:35Speaker 2: get another big JSN touchdown. But either way, if you
- 17:38Speaker 2: are looking for a streamer at quarterback, considered Gino and
- 17:41Speaker 2: putting him in your lineup. All right, we're switch gears
- 17:45Speaker 2: and talk about some kickers, because kickers. Man, if you
- 17:49Speaker 2: had to pick a kicker to stream this week, Lakwan,
- 17:51Speaker 2: who would it be?
- 17:52Speaker 4: Well, looks, I mean, look, this is going to be
- 17:54Speaker 4: a very defensive battle between the Broncos and the Patriots.
- 17:58Speaker 4: So this Patriots defense have been elite all season long,
- 18:01Speaker 4: so they're going to be cutting some drive short. So
- 18:03Speaker 4: I think this sets him up for some opportunities to
- 18:05Speaker 4: get some field goals, put some points on the board.
- 18:08Speaker 4: He's pretty good man, top seven in an NFL right now,
- 18:10Speaker 4: pretty accurate, ninety three percent, three for four from fifty.
- 18:13Speaker 4: So you're getting a guy that you could just plug
- 18:15Speaker 4: and play this week to get some points on the board.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Man, you're gonna be watching that game Sunday night. Just
- 18:20Speaker 3: hit the points.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Might as well just go get the points.
- 18:22Speaker 2: So while you're at it, by the way, that is
- 18:24Speaker 2: a little shot for us to tell you to watch
- 18:27Speaker 2: the game. It's on NFL Network, streaming on NFL Plus
- 18:29Speaker 2: the host Classic. Thank you. It's what I do here.
- 18:32Speaker 2: If you had to pick a Chick or Floria, who
- 18:34Speaker 2: would it be for you?
- 18:35Speaker 3: Matt Gay who last week I was like, hey, don't
- 18:38Speaker 3: quit on him after his zero point game two weeks ago.
- 18:41Speaker 3: He bounced back last week with twelve Fantasy points, was
- 18:44Speaker 3: the top scoring kicker on the week. Now it's top
- 18:47Speaker 3: that number in two of his last three games. He's
- 18:49Speaker 3: been reliable all year long, plus against the Falcons. The
- 18:53Speaker 3: cults are going to accept the points. I guarantee you
- 18:55Speaker 3: that they're not gonna be aggressive. And it's an indoor game.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Just I always this time of year feel better about
- 19:00Speaker 3: kickers indoors.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Absolutely, because you don't really need them out in the elements,
- 19:03Speaker 2: kicking snow and wind and ice and all that kind
- 19:06Speaker 2: of stuff. Do you guys remember old old enough to
- 19:08Speaker 2: remember barefoot kickers in the NFL? Yes? I have seen videos.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I remember, like the Broncos had a barefoot kicker who
- 19:14Speaker 2: would kick like in the snow in December in Denver.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Seems insane. That's a wild boy.
- 19:18Speaker 3: You have to explain to me how someone thinks taking
- 19:20Speaker 3: their shoe off is a better idea than kicking with
- 19:23Speaker 3: a cleat.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I have no idea ig him to tell you that.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I got no answer for you. That was the thing
- 19:31Speaker 2: that happened very much in the eighties. A lot of
- 19:33Speaker 2: barefoot kickers there. Speaking of kickers, if I had to
- 19:36Speaker 2: pick one, I'm gonna go Dustin Hopkins going for the
- 19:37Speaker 2: Cleveland Browns against the Houston Texans one because it is
- 19:41Speaker 2: going to be indoors, like we just talked about. Also,
- 19:44Speaker 2: the Browns are movie the football but not necessarily scoring
- 19:47Speaker 2: a ton of touchdowns, So I do think there's gonna
- 19:50Speaker 2: be some opportunities for Hopkins to kick some field goals
- 19:52Speaker 2: against a Texans defense that has certainly been improving as
- 19:55Speaker 2: the season has gone along. I think this is going
- 19:58Speaker 2: to be a weirdly entertaining game, but I do think
- 20:01Speaker 2: Hopkins is going to get some some interesting opportunities. The
- 20:04Speaker 2: Browns kicking game has been kind of so so this year,
- 20:06Speaker 2: but I think Hopkins is worth putting in a lineup there.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So there it is. Kickers deserve love too.
- 20:12Speaker 2: If you're streaming, I know a lot of people like
- 20:14Speaker 2: you draft a kicker and you just tend to set
- 20:16Speaker 2: it and forget it and like maybe maybe you switch
- 20:18Speaker 2: them out like on his bye week, but like sometimes
- 20:20Speaker 2: it can actually make a difference if you actually decide
- 20:22Speaker 2: to play justin Tucker Young Wayku.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Just think about that.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I almost speak Young Way coo, And I'm like, nobody's
- 20:28Speaker 2: streaming him because if you have him, you just have him. Ye, nobody,
- 20:31Speaker 2: nobody's moving You're kicker exactly. It's time now for club dum.
- 20:35Speaker 2: But these are the guys we guarantee will score you
- 20:38Speaker 2: at least twenty five fantasy points this week. So, uh, lakwan,
- 20:41Speaker 2: who you got?
- 20:42Speaker 4: There's not enough love in the fantasy streets or Rashot
- 20:45Speaker 4: White show.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Why would give him a lot of love on this show?
- 20:48Speaker 4: I mean like he's been having a great season. He's
- 20:50Speaker 4: the top ten running back this season with a favorable
- 20:52Speaker 4: matchup against this Jags defense. In one area that the
- 20:55Speaker 4: Jags have been lacking all season, or receptions to running backs,
- 20:58Speaker 4: they're allowing the most at the position. In the top
- 21:01Speaker 4: three running back performances versus Jacks defense this season are
- 21:04Speaker 4: all running backs who catch passes out of the backfield CMC,
- 21:07Speaker 4: Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon. So he has the ability to
- 21:10Speaker 4: be involved in the passing game and check downs from
- 21:13Speaker 4: Baker Mayfield. He saw him make some really good plays
- 21:15Speaker 4: and take it to the house. So I think this
- 21:17Speaker 4: week he's putting up twenty five.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Man, he really kind of took off when the Bucks
- 21:20Speaker 2: stopped using him primarily as a running back and more
- 21:23Speaker 2: as a pass catcher. There you go, because he's not
- 21:25Speaker 2: efficient as a running back, but he's catching the football.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You get that one extra point in there, just because
- 21:30Speaker 2: let's go, how do you feel about PPR. This is
- 21:32Speaker 2: the world we live in, all right. I mean I
- 21:35Speaker 2: would call you a homer for this pick, but I
- 21:37Speaker 2: also agree with it.
- 21:38Speaker 3: So first, Rashad White, you better bring out your best
- 21:42Speaker 3: shirt to Club SUD because Lakwan he brought it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Brought it.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Stefan Diggs. Call me a homer all you want. Stefan
- 21:48Speaker 3: Diggs has not been playing like Stefan Diggs as of late.
- 21:51Speaker 3: In his last five games, just one big game. The
- 21:54Speaker 3: thing is, those four down games were all teams that
- 21:57Speaker 3: are in the bottom twelve and fantasy points allowed to
- 21:59Speaker 3: run to wide receivers. Last week, they didn't have to
- 22:02Speaker 3: throw the ball at all. Now he gets the Chargers.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Who are they've allowed? They're in the top four in
- 22:08Speaker 3: most yards, touchdowns, and fantasy points allowed to wide receivers.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Last week. My logic was, Hey, I'm starting Devonte Adams
- 22:15Speaker 3: because if he gives me a bad performance in a
- 22:16Speaker 3: great matchup, I can live with it. And it's exactly
- 22:19Speaker 3: how I feel about Stefan Diggs. But I think the
- 22:21Speaker 3: Bills are gonna make a conscious approach to get their
- 22:24Speaker 3: top option going.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I definitely do. I think they're gonna get him very
- 22:26Speaker 2: much involved. I know you said you're worried about Gabe Davis.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I get it. I think he gets involved too. I
- 22:30Speaker 1: just think if you have a Bills pass.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Catcher this week, good weeks to get him in the
- 22:34Speaker 2: lineup against the Chargers. For me, sitting in the corner
- 22:37Speaker 2: clubs side with a bottle of champagne wearing a crown
- 22:40Speaker 2: like Biggie, it's gonna be Dereck Henry. Ooh right, the
- 22:43Speaker 2: King is still the King. I know last week was
- 22:45Speaker 2: not a good week for him, right, the twenty touches
- 22:47Speaker 2: just ten yards. Look, this week he's facing a bad
- 22:51Speaker 2: run defense. The Seahawks not good against the run. Why
- 22:54Speaker 2: would they be? They're birds. So I think Ken Harry
- 22:56Speaker 2: gets it done on the ground. Volume has never been
- 22:58Speaker 2: the issue for him this season. Now he has a
- 23:01Speaker 2: really good matchup as well. I don't know how many
- 23:04Speaker 2: more times when we got a couple more games of him,
- 23:06Speaker 2: likely in a Titans uniform. I think this week he
- 23:09Speaker 2: gives us one of those vintage Derrick Henry performances that
- 23:12Speaker 2: reminds us why he's been so good in this league
- 23:15Speaker 2: and why he's been such a fantasy star for a
- 23:17Speaker 2: long time.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Uh So, I think we can kind of lock that
- 23:20Speaker 1: up this week and get him to the club side.
- 23:21Speaker 2: They just popping bottles. Man, there you go. You know
- 23:25Speaker 2: he's gonna gift you. Uh tell your friends with my friends,
- 23:29Speaker 2: we can be friends.
- 23:29Speaker 5: It'll be a whole thing. I got a gift for you, guys.
- 23:37Speaker 5: I want to thank you guys for always you know,
- 23:40Speaker 5: looking out for me.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Involved. Wow, come bearing gifts for.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Ida.
- 23:47Speaker 2: We open this now. Okay, okay, let's uh oh snap
- 23:52Speaker 2: your little carnage funko pop. See. Anybody who knows me
- 23:55Speaker 2: knows I'm a I'm a Spider Man fanatic. So the
- 23:56Speaker 2: carnage funko pop. I'm all about this. Life got some
- 24:00Speaker 2: This is amazing. This is a Mac Miller comic book.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh my god, I know this is going on. It's
- 24:08Speaker 2: the self care video in that's amazing. Thank you so much.
- 24:15Speaker 3: I am this.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Which is a good time for us to maybe shut
- 24:18Speaker 2: this thing down before I get all emotional here. Thank
- 24:21Speaker 2: you to all of you who've been watching this all
- 24:24Speaker 2: season long. I know we're not done yet, but it's
- 24:25Speaker 2: the end of the year. Uh so I want to
- 24:27Speaker 2: say thank you to all of you. We want to
- 24:29Speaker 2: say I wish you best of luck in your fantasy playoffs,
- 24:32Speaker 2: and have a merry Christmas as well. That'll do this
- 24:35Speaker 2: edition of the Stardom Centum Show. For Lakwan Jones, for
- 24:37Speaker 2: Michael F. Floya, for all the specialists out there, I'm
- 24:40Speaker 2: Marcus Grant. Thanks for checking us out. Enjoy the weekend everybody,
- 24:43Speaker 2: and we'll talk to you again real soon. Sud
