Delaware’s first Chick-fil-A is officially moving forward, with city planners giving the green light and City Council set to approve the final zoning. Located at Trailhead Crossing near Sunbury Road, this 5,000+ sq ft restaurant will feature a double drive-through, 92 indoor seats, 20 outdoor patio spots, and 68 parking spaces — all on nearly two acres. While the city hasn’t hosted one before, nearby counties already have several locations. The development also includes a Chipotle and other undisclosed retail, with construction expected to begin this year and wrap by 2027. No opening date…
