- 0:01Mizrahi Inspiration Sheer #7. We've spoken over the last three
- 0:06days about the need to love, the absolute essential need to love
- 0:09every single person, every single Jew.
- 0:12But here we take it one stage further.
- 0:15In Ravcrook's writings we find that the heart must be filled
- 0:18with love for all of the world, for all peoples, for every man,
- 0:23for all humankind. In the Torah, there's a precept
- 0:26for Hafta Loreja camorra to love your neighbor like yourself.
- 0:30And we know it's a clau gadol Batara, great principle in Tora
- 0:33thought. This is obvious, but there are
- 0:37levels of love. The special book of ethics
- 0:41called The Gates of Kudusha by Rafheim Vital, one of the great
- 0:45students of the Ariza or cabalists.
- 0:49The Kudusha of the Ari was unique.
- 0:51He was on a different, on different frequency.
- 0:55He belonged to a special class of people.
- 0:57His life is not measurable in the quantity of years he lived,
- 1:00but in quality and tremendous quality, says Rob Cook.
- 1:04And he's told that when the Iriza departed from the world,
- 1:06he remained lucid until the final moment of the departure of
- 1:09his soul. Great people gathered around
- 1:11him, students who are fortunate to have learned from him during
- 1:14the brief time he lived in this world.
- 1:17He turned to them and said, Do you think you know something of
- 1:19what we learned together these years?
- 1:21Know that you know nothing at all?
- 1:23Of course these great, great, great men were startled and
- 1:25speechless. The Gather students had a
- 1:28profound love for Rabkhine Vital, the foremost scholar
- 1:32amongst them. One of them of the students
- 1:35turned to the Ari and said It's true that we don't know
- 1:38anything, but what of Rabkhine, your greatest student?
- 1:43How can you say that he doesn't know anything?
- 1:46The Ari responded. He knows a little.
- 1:50The same Rabkhine, the closest person to the Ari, the foremost
- 1:54in the holy Kingdom of the Ari, wrote the book Gates of Kudusha.
- 2:00The book offers some special guidance.
- 2:02Love your neighbour as yourself. This is a precept which concerns
- 2:06the love of every Jew. But to achieve Roha Kardash, be
- 2:10able to be so deeply connected with Hashem, waiting for this,
- 2:16one must love everybody. Love your neighbour as yourself
- 2:21refers to the Jewish people. One must love all people, not
- 2:27just juice, an essential ingredient in attaining Rojakot.
- 2:31There's divine inspiration that the heart be filled with a
- 2:35tenderness and love which encompasses all the nations of
- 2:40the world. This elevates a person to the
- 2:44heights of divine inspiration. Now this doesn't mean that you
- 2:50should fall in love and get married.
- 2:53No laws forbidding intermarriage, even drinking
- 2:57wine that's produced by non Jews eating of non casual food.
- 3:01They obviously have to be strictly enforced that I have
- 3:04that the love of non Jewish people does not contradict the
- 3:08different lifestyle which the Tara prescribes for Amistra.
- 3:10For the Jewish people. It's a people who will dwell
- 3:14alone, says the Tarain. I'm the Vadajishka and shall not
- 3:18be reckoned amongst the nation of Agayemlayd Khasha.
- 3:21That's the there's words of of Bill.
- 3:23I'm the prophet. Rather, it teaches the love of
- 3:27all people, even though there are clear halactic boundaries
- 3:30which have to be maintained. Does its all-encompassing love
- 3:36also include those who hate our people, says Ralph Sviggy Hooda
- 3:41that his father's teachings imply that it did in relation to
- 3:45extraordinarily evil people. There's room to direct hate
- 3:48against the aspect of evil in them.
- 3:51The general role is a love for each and every nation and
- 3:56people. Think about that one today.
- 4:00How do we manifest it? Do we achieve it?
- 4:02Do we think it's too much for us?
- 4:04Have a very good day.
