- 0:00Speaker 1: Prichard Randall is on Colorado seven. Welcome to the Friday edition.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I encourage you if you are following me or seven
- 0:11Speaker 1: forty KVR on Facebook, go ahead log in. You'll be
- 0:15Speaker 1: able to watch the show streaming, because to be able
- 0:17Speaker 1: to see things that I hold up like this propundity
- 0:21Speaker 1: right here in my hand. So I think you know
- 0:24Speaker 1: that at the end of every show, David and I
- 0:27Speaker 1: already start talking about the next show. We start talking
- 0:30Speaker 1: about the day show when whether we liked where it
- 0:34Speaker 1: went and whether it could improve, but we also start
- 0:36Speaker 1: talking about a potential list for the next day. And
- 0:40Speaker 1: it dawned on me that whenever I do a promo
- 0:44Speaker 1: telling you about the next day, I have a tendency
- 0:47Speaker 1: to just tell you, well, this is what I'm going
- 0:48Speaker 1: to be talking about. And as you know, a lot
- 0:51Speaker 1: of times I might say that at ten oh five
- 0:54Speaker 1: on Thursday, but by the time a oh five comes
- 0:57Speaker 1: around on Friday, things have changed. Can So we're going
- 1:01Speaker 1: to do a couple of things here. First off, what
- 1:04Speaker 1: I these are my notes. I doubt that you could
- 1:06Speaker 1: read them, but it says normally I tell you what's
- 1:12Speaker 1: going on the mainstream media, they'll tell you who the
- 1:15Speaker 1: real victims in America are, And according to them, that
- 1:19Speaker 1: would be George Floyd, Renee Good Alex pretty add Don
- 1:25Speaker 1: Lemon to that list. Now what a jerk, and now
- 1:29Speaker 1: he gets attention again. He's pretty much gone away. But
- 1:33Speaker 1: now all you have to do is walk into a
- 1:34Speaker 1: church and be obnoxious and now you're relevant again. Or
- 1:38Speaker 1: the same thing with Bruce Springsteen's new song. These people
- 1:41Speaker 1: annoy the hell out of me. Anyway, I said, you know,
- 1:44Speaker 1: if you join me on Friday, you can tell me
- 1:49Speaker 1: and thousands of listeners listening on the kvo R app.
- 1:54Speaker 1: They could be listening on regular LYDY seven forty kvo R.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You can just go to KVR dot com and listen there.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You don't even have to download the app, or you
- 2:03Speaker 1: can be listening on the podcast. Do you get a
- 2:05Speaker 1: chance to tell all of those people who you think
- 2:09Speaker 1: the real victims are in the past year or so?
- 2:12Speaker 1: And trust me, when I wrote that down yesterday, I
- 2:14Speaker 1: was thinking, well, I don't feel like a victim. I
- 2:18Speaker 1: don't think most of my listeners feel like victims. But
- 2:22Speaker 1: you don't have to talk about yourself as a victim.
- 2:24Speaker 1: One of the things that I would tell you is
- 2:27Speaker 1: that sometimes victimhood is a big deal and sometimes it's not.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Sometimes you work for the federal government. Let's say you
- 2:33Speaker 1: work for the TSA and you go out to have
- 2:36Speaker 1: a meal or entertainment, and all of a sudden, you've
- 2:39Speaker 1: got people who are showing up to hassle you because
- 2:41Speaker 1: you work for the federal government and you are ICE,
- 2:44Speaker 1: except you're not ICE. Now is that a huge story?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Not?
- 2:49Speaker 1: In so far is a couple of people having dinner
- 2:52Speaker 1: and that happens to them. It ought to be a
- 2:54Speaker 1: troubling story to you because if all of this facial
- 2:59Speaker 1: recognition and everything else is capable of them directing people
- 3:03Speaker 1: to a specific restaurant at a specific time. Now they
- 3:06Speaker 1: got it wrong in terms of TSA, ICE, border patrol, etc.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But that is chilling to me. And I'm not the
- 3:15Speaker 1: attorney general. I'm not the president who talks to the
- 3:17Speaker 1: attorney general. You need to crack down on illegal activity.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And I understand, we just do not have enough people
- 3:26Speaker 1: right now. I get it. And maybe there was too
- 3:29Speaker 1: big of a push to get enough people out on
- 3:32Speaker 1: the streets to start deporting people and getting evil people
- 3:35Speaker 1: out of neighborhoods, and we went too fast too soon
- 3:39Speaker 1: could be. And if that's the case, I have no
- 3:42Speaker 1: doubt that the President, Tom Holm, and Christine Home and
- 3:45Speaker 1: all of the rest will remedy that. One of the
- 3:47Speaker 1: things that you hear people talking about are the body cams.
- 3:52Speaker 1: We talked about that a couple of weeks ago when
- 3:55Speaker 1: I told you that they did not have body cams
- 3:58Speaker 1: and that generally those who had been deployed up there
- 4:00Speaker 1: in Minneapolis did not have body cams. Well now they
- 4:04Speaker 1: want body cams on everyone. Thank you, thank you, all
- 4:07Speaker 1: of you protesters and communists and all the rest, thank
- 4:11Speaker 1: you for that, because it's going to show that you
- 4:13Speaker 1: are the problem, not the federal agents, not the local
- 4:18Speaker 1: law enforcement, not the deputies, or the police people or
- 4:22Speaker 1: even the state patrol. It's going to show that you
- 4:25Speaker 1: are the problem. And when it shows that you're the problem,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I expect that you get prosecuted and what thrown in
- 4:33Speaker 1: jail for nine years like Tina Peters. Well, no I
- 4:38Speaker 1: didn't do anything as violent as she did. You know,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's being very snarty, right, So we're not all about
- 4:45Speaker 1: victimhood here, but I think there are some people who
- 4:47Speaker 1: are either flat out victims simply because they want to
- 4:50Speaker 1: work for the government, and they want to be in
- 4:52Speaker 1: law enforcement, and yes, I is law enforcement, and they
- 4:56Speaker 1: want to participate in doing the right thing, and that
- 4:58Speaker 1: is knowing who is in this entry legally and who
- 5:01Speaker 1: is not, and starting with the very worst of the
- 5:03Speaker 1: criminals getting rid of them. I think it's a noble thing.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So when I say I stand with ICE, I stand
- 5:09Speaker 1: with Ice. When I say I still back the Blue,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I still back the Blue and our military and President Trump,
- 5:16Speaker 1: none of that has changed. If you want to nibble
- 5:18Speaker 1: around the edges of it and say, okay, well, out
- 5:20Speaker 1: of let's say ten to twenty thousand border patrol agents
- 5:24Speaker 1: or ICE agents or whatever, we've had this incident, this incident,
- 5:29Speaker 1: and this incident. So out of all this time, you've
- 5:32Speaker 1: got like half dozen incidents where somebody may have screwed
- 5:35Speaker 1: up and maybe you know, it was just a matter
- 5:38Speaker 1: of guys coming at us. I heard somebody say gun.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I thought the phone in his hand was a gun,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and we went from there. That story has not even
- 5:47Speaker 1: completely been told. Now we're getting the video of a
- 5:50Speaker 1: prior engagement that this pretty had with federal agents. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: think it will be a lot more that comes out. Again.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I have to caution you what you're seeing on social media,
- 6:02Speaker 1: because I've seen so many things about Minneapolis, especially about
- 6:07Speaker 1: Renee Good and especially about Alex Pretty that are just
- 6:11Speaker 1: not true. And sometimes it's not true that this guy
- 6:15Speaker 1: was just a good guy who was out there protesting. Well,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I don't think spitting on people and pounding on vehicles
- 6:22Speaker 1: to the fact that you're breaking vehicles is just protesting.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Have we redefined what that entails? I don't think so.
- 6:31Speaker 1: David's been following this potential government shut down very hard
- 6:36Speaker 1: past couple of days. I've let him take care of that. Well,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm focusing on primarily Ice, primarily the protests. Apparently we're
- 6:46Speaker 1: going to protest today and tomorrow. Stay tuned because I'll
- 6:50Speaker 1: tell you exactly where the protest will be, so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: go down there and protest. Do you think I would
- 6:55Speaker 1: ever do that? I mean, seriously, do you honestly think
- 6:57Speaker 1: again on this program and tell people who hate this country,
- 7:01Speaker 1: hate this present, hate you, and hate me where they
- 7:04Speaker 1: should go to protest. In all fairness, I will say
- 7:08Speaker 1: that I've been at riots and I've been at protest,
- 7:12Speaker 1: and there is a huge difference between what has happened
- 7:16Speaker 1: to this point in Colorado Springs and what has happened
- 7:20Speaker 1: in Denver, same state, Denver, They're attacking police officers. It
- 7:24Speaker 1: was dangerous. People were getting injured, law enforcement was getting injured.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I didn't worry too much about the people who were
- 7:31Speaker 1: getting hit with non lethal weapons because they were able
- 7:35Speaker 1: to decide I'm talking about law enforcement up there. It
- 7:38Speaker 1: was Denver patrol. They were able to decide that I
- 7:41Speaker 1: was not a threat. And yay, guys, I'm with a media,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm going to move my vehicle here, get out of
- 7:46Speaker 1: your way. I did exactly that. They hit a couple
- 7:50Speaker 1: of pepperballs three or four feet in front of me,
- 7:53Speaker 1: just as an exclamation point on could you please move
- 7:56Speaker 1: your vehicle. But if there was any danger, and I
- 7:59Speaker 1: did feel a little bit of danger, it was going
- 8:01Speaker 1: to come from not the protesters, the rioters, the ones
- 8:05Speaker 1: who are breaking out windows and doing all of the rest.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So number one, if you are talking to anyone and
- 8:11Speaker 1: they want to start talking about, oh, it's just a protest, protest, protest, protest,
- 8:16Speaker 1: it was just a protest, and you had somebody like
- 8:19Speaker 1: you know, Alex pretty was just a protester, then he'd
- 8:23Speaker 1: be alive today. But he got involved in impeding an
- 8:28Speaker 1: investigation and apprehension, a detention in all of those things.
- 8:32Speaker 1: That's a completely different thing. So I am proud of
- 8:37Speaker 1: not of what their messages are, not of what they believe.
- 8:39Speaker 1: In terms of the people who are protesting here in
- 8:42Speaker 1: Coloradio's Rings for No Kings or down there protesting at
- 8:46Speaker 1: the Tesla dealership and all the rest, I'm not proud
- 8:49Speaker 1: of them doing that. I am proud that whoever organizes this,
- 8:53Speaker 1: and make no mistake, it is very very very well
- 8:56Speaker 1: organized that to this point there been any violence that
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm aware of. On the other hand, we're supposed to
- 9:04Speaker 1: have it again today and tomorrow. I'm not going to
- 9:07Speaker 1: tell you on my social media or anywhere else unless
- 9:10Speaker 1: I feel I have to tell you avoid this area
- 9:12Speaker 1: or avoid that area. Hopefully Colorado Springs, no matter what
- 9:15Speaker 1: they do, whether they don't have a protest or if
- 9:17Speaker 1: they do, it will remain nonviolent. Because if it isn't,
- 9:22Speaker 1: there is an entirely different ballgame. All right, let's start
- 9:28Speaker 1: talking about I suppose the people who are benefiting from
- 9:33Speaker 1: this que Bona right, Roger Stone, who benefits well, if
- 9:39Speaker 1: we're to take just the church and you're going to
- 9:42Speaker 1: go in and you're going to disrupt the service that's
- 9:45Speaker 1: taking place in the church. After the protest downtown last Sunday,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I went over to the church that I used to
- 9:54Speaker 1: be a member of the congregation. Now it was well
- 9:56Speaker 1: after their services and they were gone, right. But when
- 10:01Speaker 1: I was over there, it got me thinking, I wonder
- 10:04Speaker 1: how some of these faith leaders, only a couple of
- 10:08Speaker 1: them even have a you know, a church or a
- 10:11Speaker 1: congregation or whatever. But I wonder how they would feel
- 10:15Speaker 1: if you and I and a bunch of other folks
- 10:17Speaker 1: came in and spewed whatever we wanted to dispute. It
- 10:19Speaker 1: doesn't matter what it was. We started, you know what,
- 10:23Speaker 1: We just came and we started throwing out little booklest
- 10:27Speaker 1: of the Constitution and small American flag can be more
- 10:30Speaker 1: patriotic than that, right? Can you imagine the hell that
- 10:33Speaker 1: would happen if I or you did something like that.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It ought to be a safe place for people to
- 10:38Speaker 1: go and to worship. But now all of a sudden,
- 10:41Speaker 1: we've got Don Lemon, And this is what annoys me.
- 10:45Speaker 1: He should be arrested. He wasn't a journalist. The guy
- 10:48Speaker 1: was never even a journalist when he was on television,
- 10:50Speaker 1: had his own show. He was a commentator, he commented
- 10:54Speaker 1: on things. He was not a journalist. You want to
- 10:56Speaker 1: see a journalist. Stand Don Lemon here and make Shirley
- 10:59Speaker 1: right there. You can tell the difference between one and
- 11:02Speaker 1: the other. But now we've got Don Lemon, who is arrested.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'll say what we're going to when we come back.
- 11:07Speaker 1: We've got Bill mallusion, uh from Washington. He's got the
- 11:10Speaker 1: latest on the Don Lemon thing. There are a handful
- 11:13Speaker 1: of people that if you are following them on social media,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you're getting great, great news. And I just mentioned two
- 11:20Speaker 1: of them. Make surely is one of them, and Don
- 11:22Speaker 1: Lemon was the second. No, I wasn't talking about Don Lemon.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I was talking about Bill mallusion shortbreaks. Faux needs to
- 11:28Speaker 1: get us up to speed on that. And then you
- 11:30Speaker 1: tell me, with everything that's going on here, who are
- 11:33Speaker 1: the real victims? Is it truly somebody like Renee Good
- 11:37Speaker 1: or is it somebody like Lake and Riley? I am
- 11:41Speaker 1: just curious. Seven nine five er a seven poor zero.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And I have amended at least for today. We'll see that, Chris.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I've amended the one call per week thing. We'll see
- 11:50Speaker 1: what happens. But here's just the thing. I would like
- 11:53Speaker 1: to hear people a little bit more frequently. However, in
- 11:56Speaker 1: order to do that, based on the volume of text
- 11:58Speaker 1: messages and all the that I've got, I need you
- 12:01Speaker 1: to do one thing. It's not a paper, it's just
- 12:03Speaker 1: a request, and if you don't honor the request, then
- 12:06Speaker 1: you have to do things differently. If you get a
- 12:08Speaker 1: second call, make it short and concise. This isn't a
- 12:12Speaker 1: time where you're up in a bully pulpit and you
- 12:14Speaker 1: get to give a sermon or a speech or anything
- 12:17Speaker 1: like that. Try to keep it as short as possible.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And if we all do that, then I think we'll
- 12:23Speaker 1: hear more voices and not just text messages going forward.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So the number to call or to text seven to one, nine,
- 12:29Speaker 1: seven to one, five zero seven four zero. David and
- 12:42Speaker 1: I were he's a producer, of course, we were talking
- 12:44Speaker 1: on the break here, and I was thinking, maybe we
- 12:48Speaker 1: should just do a show on who are the most
- 12:51Speaker 1: obnoxious people in the news? So it would it be
- 12:55Speaker 1: Don Lemon, He's right up there in my book? Would
- 12:57Speaker 1: it be Bruce Springsteen? Yeah, he's up there, Richard. I
- 13:00Speaker 1: thought he was such a great musician. I didn't think
- 13:02Speaker 1: it was such a great musician, quite honestly. I was
- 13:05Speaker 1: more in the Keith Richards camp, who said he sounded
- 13:08Speaker 1: like a glorified garage band. Don Lemon, though, I was
- 13:12Speaker 1: quite content when his idea of being influential or important
- 13:18Speaker 1: was to take his phone to walk around Coney Island
- 13:22Speaker 1: or someplace in New York and start asking people questions
- 13:25Speaker 1: and then post that on his own social media. He
- 13:28Speaker 1: should have been arrested for what he did at the
- 13:30Speaker 1: church in Minneapolis. However, now he's all over the place.
- 13:34Speaker 1: He's relevant again. And what if you are somebody who
- 13:38Speaker 1: is no longer relevant because you didn't have enough people
- 13:41Speaker 1: watching or listening to you, do you need to just
- 13:43Speaker 1: run into a church and do something? Apparently? Apparently, I guess.
- 13:48Speaker 1: In any event, Bill Mlusion, he is one of the
- 13:50Speaker 1: people that you ought to be following a pharmacyn anchor.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Don Lemon arrested after he was reporting that anti s
- 14:00Speaker 1: anti ice protest in a church. It was a protest.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I just I'm reluctant to call Don Lemon a journalist.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I will tell Bill Malusian a journalist. And that's why
- 14:10Speaker 1: we're gonna listen to him.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has been arrested by federal
- 14:15Speaker 3: agents in Los Angeles just after midnight this morning at
- 14:19Speaker 3: a hotel.
- 14:20Speaker 1: This obviously all.
- 14:21Speaker 3: In connection with that storming of a church in Saint Paul,
- 14:25Speaker 3: Minnesota by that group of anti ice agitators. Now, remember
- 14:28Speaker 3: the Feds had gone to judges to try to get
- 14:31Speaker 3: Don Lemon arrested before. They went to a magistrate judge
- 14:34Speaker 3: in Minnesota who didn't sign off on an arrest warrant
- 14:36Speaker 3: for him. Then it went to a judge above him,
- 14:39Speaker 3: he didn't sign on an arrest warrant for him. Then
- 14:41Speaker 3: it went to an appeals court they also decided not
- 14:44Speaker 3: to sign off for an arrest warrant for him. So
- 14:46Speaker 3: there was experts who are predicting that perhaps the Feds
- 14:49Speaker 3: would go to a grand jury.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Just for the fun of it. If you are on
- 14:54Speaker 1: a you're on a jury, right and it's a prosecution
- 14:58Speaker 1: against Don Lemon. We're not going to get into the
- 15:01Speaker 1: details of the laws in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Minnesota, or Colorado,
- 15:07Speaker 1: but just generally, just generally, would you cut him some
- 15:10Speaker 1: slack because he's Don Lemon, or would you now, I
- 15:14Speaker 1: don't crucify this guy did not mean to use that term.
- 15:16Speaker 1: That term should be used only with reference to Jesus Christ.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Throw the book at Don Lemon or how about jury nullification?
- 15:26Speaker 1: That means that I don't care what the judge told
- 15:28Speaker 1: me the law is, I'm just not going to convict
- 15:30Speaker 1: this person. They made that into a big deal. Incidentally,
- 15:33Speaker 1: a while back, when they thought it was going to
- 15:35Speaker 1: be all these prosecutions about people who were in the
- 15:38Speaker 1: militia because that was such a huge movement at the time,
- 15:42Speaker 1: and if any of them had been charged, you just
- 15:44Speaker 1: needed one person on a jury and they just had
- 15:47Speaker 1: to do whatever the hell they wanted to dury nullification.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I've started seeing that term crop up over and over
- 15:53Speaker 1: and over again, and now it's in the Pacific Northwest
- 15:57Speaker 1: because they're hoping they just have one person on a jury.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Is going to happen with that the TSA thing. I
- 16:04Speaker 1: think we need to be prepared for this. When I
- 16:08Speaker 1: started working with Magnum a while back, one of the
- 16:11Speaker 1: first things that one of the owners told me and
- 16:13Speaker 1: were actually were sitting in a restaurant having a conversation.
- 16:16Speaker 1: He said, Richard, what's the first thing you do when
- 16:19Speaker 1: you come in and sit down, well, I look for
- 16:21Speaker 1: you guys and find out, you know, if there's a
- 16:23Speaker 1: table or a booth, and I'd try to have my
- 16:26Speaker 1: back to the door aces and eights. If anybody can
- 16:31Speaker 1: reference why I would not want my back to the door,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and I would say aces and eights, shoot me a
- 16:38Speaker 1: text or give me a call, because I want to
- 16:40Speaker 1: prove how smart my listeners are nine seven one fives
- 16:43Speaker 1: or a seven four zero. Instead, I was told you
- 16:46Speaker 1: ought to be thinking if something goes down here, what
- 16:50Speaker 1: are you going to do? What is your exit? What
- 16:53Speaker 1: is your plan? And part of your plan. If you
- 16:56Speaker 1: were the only person who is armed there and you
- 16:58Speaker 1: have somebody who's a gun and they're you know, shooting
- 17:01Speaker 1: or getting ready to shoot, you do not want to
- 17:05Speaker 1: stand up and try to return fire. That's the advice
- 17:10Speaker 1: I was given. Caveat here is. I'm not giving you
- 17:13Speaker 1: advice that you should you rely on for the safety
- 17:17Speaker 1: of yourself and others, etc. This is not legal advice.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's just me telling you what somebody told me, because
- 17:23Speaker 1: they said, if you stand up, no matter how well
- 17:25Speaker 1: intended you are, no matter how well armed you are,
- 17:28Speaker 1: everybody else is duck down, you automatically become the easiest
- 17:31Speaker 1: damn target in the world. I mentioned this because I'm
- 17:35Speaker 1: afraid we're going to start having things like that, because
- 17:38Speaker 1: I have very good reason to believe that there is
- 17:40Speaker 1: a network of antifa, antiis BLM type people who are
- 17:46Speaker 1: out there, and many of them will work at a
- 17:48Speaker 1: car rental or a restaurant or a hotel, and they've
- 17:52Speaker 1: got people that are on their radar. And if somebody
- 17:54Speaker 1: shows up on the building halicouts staying at our hotel tonight.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We need to let people know about that. Seven one nine,
- 18:00Speaker 1: seven one five is there are seven to four zero?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Why is my back to the wall, and I'm thinking
- 18:05Speaker 1: about aces and eights? The buzz in your backyard. It's
- 18:09Speaker 1: an elephant tranquilizer, extremely potent bustige. You trust they are
- 18:13Speaker 1: safe and they've been medically evaluated.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Seven forty kr at kvor dot com.
- 18:23Speaker 1: All right, So I'm making a list here. And when
- 18:28Speaker 1: we've talked about hypothetical questions before, I love them. Not
- 18:32Speaker 1: everybody does. In fact, I'm a little bit hypocritical on
- 18:35Speaker 1: that because if a candidate is at a Republican conservative
- 18:40Speaker 1: candidate that I would support is asked a hypothetical question
- 18:43Speaker 1: that is designed to just be some sort of a
- 18:45Speaker 1: gotcha because there's no good answer to the question. Then
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm on board with saying, you know, don't answer any
- 18:52Speaker 1: hypothetical questions here. Right. On the other hand, I think
- 18:56Speaker 1: they're interesting and I think that they're telling as well.
- 18:59Speaker 1: So one of the things that you hear me say
- 19:01Speaker 1: frequently is I didn't vote for that, or I did
- 19:05Speaker 1: vote for that, And especially with President Trump and this term,
- 19:10Speaker 1: he's been doing some things I didn't vote for. Clearly,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I didn't even know it was on the radar for
- 19:15Speaker 1: me to vote whether we should or shouldn't put pressure
- 19:19Speaker 1: on Denmark regarding Greenland. You noticed I did not say
- 19:22Speaker 1: invading Greenland, because anybody who talks to you about that,
- 19:26Speaker 1: just looking in the eyes, just say, you know what,
- 19:28Speaker 1: Richard Randall would say that that's BS. Give him a caller,
- 19:32Speaker 1: shoot him a text, because it is BS. We were
- 19:35Speaker 1: not going to invade Greenland, which is telling. Incidentally, because
- 19:40Speaker 1: after we get the news that Denmark and the United
- 19:43Speaker 1: States trying to work out something in terms of security
- 19:46Speaker 1: for Greenland, I kept seeing all these stories, especially out
- 19:49Speaker 1: of Europe, talking about the United States invading Greenland, And
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm thinking to myself, so why is that? You know
- 19:56Speaker 1: the answer, Because if they get something they consider to
- 19:59Speaker 1: be a good story, which means it's working to advance
- 20:02Speaker 1: their narrative, the fact that it's been disproven doesn't matter
- 20:05Speaker 1: at all. Just keep going with it. Which is why
- 20:08Speaker 1: last weekend when I saw all of the people down
- 20:10Speaker 1: there who were at the big anti ice rally, and
- 20:14Speaker 1: so many of them had we're seeing twenty twenty five.
- 20:17Speaker 1: We're seeing Project twenty twenty five in action. No we're not.
- 20:21Speaker 1: No we're not, and we weren't before. But I've heard
- 20:25Speaker 1: it from you people going back to the DNC and
- 20:28Speaker 1: all points coming forward. All right, So I did talk
- 20:32Speaker 1: about jury nullification, and let me give you a couple
- 20:37Speaker 1: of text messages because I've already got people who are
- 20:39Speaker 1: checking in on the aces and eighths thing, which I'm
- 20:41Speaker 1: very proud of you, because I think I've got some
- 20:43Speaker 1: correct answers here as well. Let's see. This one comes
- 20:49Speaker 1: from Tim here in the Springs. He says, always taught
- 20:53Speaker 1: to sit with a view of the door and know
- 20:55Speaker 1: where all of your exits are, and if possible, where
- 20:58Speaker 1: they lead, and even how many windows, aces and eights
- 21:02Speaker 1: dead man's hand. Tim, you're a winner. You just get
- 21:05Speaker 1: the prestige of being a winner. I don't have anything
- 21:08Speaker 1: else for you, But Tim, shoot me another text and
- 21:10Speaker 1: tell me this. How old were you when you learned that?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Because all the time I tell you I didn't have
- 21:17Speaker 1: to have a big come to Jesus or come to
- 21:20Speaker 1: father and sit down and talk about Richard. If you
- 21:23Speaker 1: ever get pulled over by the police, this is what
- 21:26Speaker 1: you need to do. I didn't have to have that
- 21:27Speaker 1: conversation with my dad. Common sense told me what to do.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I didn't have to have that conversation with my children
- 21:33Speaker 1: why because common sense told them what to do. So
- 21:37Speaker 1: in this case, though, I'm curious, were a younger person
- 21:41Speaker 1: and this is your dad, your grandfather was Is it
- 21:43Speaker 1: something you learned in the military or how did you
- 21:46Speaker 1: come to that? No, all of your exits, because it's
- 21:49Speaker 1: great advice. And see how did I come to that? Well,
- 21:51Speaker 1: it was the advice that I had a couple of
- 21:53Speaker 1: the instructors at Magnum giving me right this one. Don't
- 21:58Speaker 1: like Bruce Springsteen, Maybe you don't love America. Ooh wait, wait, wait,
- 22:04Speaker 1: wait wait, So if this is the question. Is this
- 22:07Speaker 1: the question that if I don't, is Bruce Springsteen so
- 22:12Speaker 1: American that if I don't like him or his music
- 22:15Speaker 1: two different things. I don't really like that much of either.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Money had one good album. I thought Glory Days was
- 22:21Speaker 1: a great song. Right beyond that, some of the songs,
- 22:25Speaker 1: just like John Cougar Mellencamp, I scratched my heads when
- 22:28Speaker 1: Republicans are using Born in the USA or little Pink
- 22:31Speaker 1: Houses over here, Did you guys listen to the lyrics
- 22:34Speaker 1: that we're playing this at a rally or whatever. No,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I don't like Bruce Springs. I don't think that makes
- 22:39Speaker 1: me an American. And there are a lot of musicians
- 22:43Speaker 1: I used to like. I mean, I never really liked him.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I was doing record reviews for a paper when I
- 22:48Speaker 1: was in college and I reviewed one of his albums
- 22:51Speaker 1: and I wasn't impressed to that, and haven't been impressed
- 22:54Speaker 1: since then. All Right, but explain to me how I'm
- 22:58Speaker 1: anti American or I don't love America if I don't
- 23:02Speaker 1: love Bruce Springsteen, because I love America and I don't
- 23:06Speaker 1: love Bruce Springsteen. This one, I thought jury nullification was
- 23:10Speaker 1: when the judge disregards the verdict. You made it sound
- 23:15Speaker 1: like the opposite. Well, when it comes to definitions, this
- 23:21Speaker 1: is my understanding. And I have never had a case
- 23:25Speaker 1: and I was only a trial attorney for seven and
- 23:27Speaker 1: a half years, but I never had a case where
- 23:29Speaker 1: I suspected there was jury nullification or a directed verdict.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I've covered those when I was in television covering different trials.
- 23:39Speaker 1: But this is, you know, kind of what my understanding is.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Let's put it this way. So if you've got a
- 23:46Speaker 1: trial and you had emotion for summary judgment, which means
- 23:50Speaker 1: before there's even a trial, you go before a judge,
- 23:53Speaker 1: You put forth all of your evidence. Judge looks at
- 23:56Speaker 1: it and says, you know what, there's no case here,
- 24:00Speaker 1: so it's gone, or this is so overwhelming that we're
- 24:04Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and go with that. But what happens
- 24:05Speaker 1: if you're in a trial you end up with what
- 24:07Speaker 1: is called a judgment nonwithstanding the verdict. Well, that's when
- 24:13Speaker 1: a judge sits through an entire trial, and remember he's
- 24:17Speaker 1: the one that is figuring out the law and the
- 24:21Speaker 1: jurors are presented with evidence. Judge determines what is or
- 24:25Speaker 1: isn't evident, and then they come to their conclusions. However, sometimes,
- 24:29Speaker 1: and I've never seen this, quite honestly, where you have
- 24:32Speaker 1: a judge saying, look, everything is so overwhelming here. No
- 24:36Speaker 1: reasonable jury in the world could ever find this person
- 24:40Speaker 1: guilty or not guilty or whatever it is. Technically, it's
- 24:44Speaker 1: called a judgment nonwithstanding the verdict in Layman's terms. When
- 24:48Speaker 1: I was in law school, since then, in television or
- 24:51Speaker 1: even when I was practicing law, it was always referred
- 24:54Speaker 1: to as a directed verdict. More text messages because I
- 24:58Speaker 1: think I'm about to be proved and write about how
- 25:00Speaker 1: smart my listeners are. Here David Justin. President Trump nominates
- 25:08Speaker 1: Kevin Walsh for Fed Reserve chair to succeed your own health.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Thank you for that. I guess I was supposed to
- 25:14Speaker 1: happen sometime next week and it's been accelerated. If you'd
- 25:21Speaker 1: like me to do a two hour show explaining the
- 25:23Speaker 1: Federal Reserve, how it operates, how it was formed, what
- 25:27Speaker 1: its members trying to accomplish, and all the rest. I
- 25:31Speaker 1: can't do it, and I'm just serious. There's some things
- 25:33Speaker 1: I cannot do. And that's when you have to go
- 25:35Speaker 1: to somebody like Levin or other people who that's their Forte.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I can tell you that they make it sound like
- 25:42Speaker 1: just a witch hunt from President Trump. He didn't like
- 25:45Speaker 1: what the FED was doing in terms of interest rates,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and he thought that there may have been some motivation
- 25:51Speaker 1: not to do too much to bring rates down because
- 25:55Speaker 1: it's political and if the economy is in worse shape
- 25:58Speaker 1: under Trump in the mid you get what I'm saying
- 26:01Speaker 1: on this, right, But this goes on to say this
- 26:05Speaker 1: could be a game changer for our economy. What I
- 26:10Speaker 1: do now, you know, I know, I know this president
- 26:14Speaker 1: has worked harder and bear more concerned about the average
- 26:17Speaker 1: American and how the economy impacts them. I could have
- 26:21Speaker 1: done five or six stories today talking about these Trump accounts.
- 26:25Speaker 1: And I get it. They don't have to be called
- 26:27Speaker 1: Trump accounts. We don't need to put Trump's name on
- 26:29Speaker 1: the Kennedy Center all over the place. I get it,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I get it, I get it. I would prefer that
- 26:34Speaker 1: he doesn't do that. But really, you're gonna be upset
- 26:37Speaker 1: that you're gonna have one thousand dollars for all of
- 26:40Speaker 1: these kids. Now, just I see private entities who are saying, well,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you know what, I'll chip in one thousand dollars here
- 26:45Speaker 1: and here and here. Did you see any prior presidents, say,
- 26:48Speaker 1: great Barack Obama, who is looking out for people who
- 26:51Speaker 1: are down trodden and minorities and struggling in America? Did
- 26:55Speaker 1: he do anything with that in terms of the government. No,
- 26:59Speaker 1: But I mean him and Michelle. You know they have
- 27:02Speaker 1: millions and millions because where they buy property. Yeah, did
- 27:06Speaker 1: they take any of that? Millions and millions? And along
- 27:08Speaker 1: those lines? I hate to tell you, but it just
- 27:11Speaker 1: really angers me. You have elan Omer. She's a victim.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Now she's a victim. Now, Oh, they're coming after elan Omer.
- 27:18Speaker 1: It's a pretty simple question. How do you go from
- 27:20Speaker 1: being somebody who comes to the United States from Somalia
- 27:23Speaker 1: even though apparently your ancestors, parents' grandparents were part of
- 27:27Speaker 1: one of the ruling militias over there, And how do
- 27:31Speaker 1: you become a multi million dollar member of Congress? How's
- 27:35Speaker 1: the representatives? How does that all happen? I think the
- 27:38Speaker 1: number was thirty one million. I'd have to look it
- 27:40Speaker 1: up to be exact. Can anybody tell me how that
- 27:44Speaker 1: would happen? I mean with legitimate you know means I
- 27:48Speaker 1: mean you bought gold at this price or you let's
- 27:52Speaker 1: say you had a suspicion that this stock that nobody
- 27:57Speaker 1: was even paying attention to, all of a sudden might
- 27:59Speaker 1: blow up. There's some things like investigating how somebody like
- 28:05Speaker 1: her becomes a multimillion dollar It's the easiest thing in
- 28:08Speaker 1: the world. And the only thing I can think, honestly,
- 28:11Speaker 1: is that if you do that, then all of a sudden,
- 28:13Speaker 1: it's going to look like you're persecuting her or you're
- 28:16Speaker 1: persecuting don Lemon. I don't care. Just do the right thing.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Let's see, the Federal Reserve is good, the people running
- 28:26Speaker 1: it are bad. Again, that's going to have to be
- 28:28Speaker 1: a knowledge beyond me. This one just says it could
- 28:32Speaker 1: be a game changer for the economy. Elon Omar has
- 28:36Speaker 1: been in America longer than Milania. Yeah right, and so
- 28:45Speaker 1: longevity and how long you're in the country, and the
- 28:48Speaker 1: whole thing they go back to her with a movie
- 28:50Speaker 1: and all the rest is they're going to accuse her
- 28:53Speaker 1: of having done well. She just did the same thing
- 28:56Speaker 1: that elon Omar did and all of the rest. I'm sorry.
- 29:00Speaker 1: We were talking about the classiest first lady I've had in
- 29:03Speaker 1: my lifetime, the smartest, and honestly the one who actually
- 29:06Speaker 1: tried to do something. You meet with Putin and you
- 29:09Speaker 1: try to help out. Some kids are going to be
- 29:11Speaker 1: orphans over there. So if you want to go back
- 29:13Speaker 1: through all of that and you know, oh wait, I
- 29:16Speaker 1: think I know who sent this. David was reminding when
- 29:19Speaker 1: something like this comes in and it says Elon Omer
- 29:22Speaker 1: has been in America longer than Malania Trump, I'm supposed
- 29:25Speaker 1: to say that's so what about is them? It doesn't
- 29:28Speaker 1: count because that's how they think you didn't like the
- 29:32Speaker 1: Nebraska album? Aren't You from Nebraska? I am? And I
- 29:35Speaker 1: didn't like the album. I thought it had a great cover,
- 29:38Speaker 1: black and white cover with a car coming down a roll.
- 29:41Speaker 1: It looks like, you know, nineteen forties or something. And
- 29:44Speaker 1: there were one or two songs on there that I
- 29:46Speaker 1: remember liking, but it was any indication of that album
- 29:50Speaker 1: or Bruce Springsteen. I couldn't name a single song on
- 29:55Speaker 1: the album Nebraska. And for people who don't know, I
- 29:59Speaker 1: generally say, hey, I came from a town about an
- 30:02Speaker 1: hour east to Cheyenne. And if you believe I'm from Wyoming,
- 30:06Speaker 1: that's okay. You can believe that if you'd like to, uh,
- 30:10Speaker 1: good morning, Richard In your defense. Bruce Springsteen doesn't like America.
- 30:16Speaker 1: How about that he likes to He's like Barack Obama
- 30:21Speaker 1: and Michelle Obama. They like America, but not the way
- 30:25Speaker 1: it is man and not the way it really is,
- 30:27Speaker 1: but the way they'd like to see it in the future.
- 30:31Speaker 1: What they could turn it into. Why people even listen
- 30:36Speaker 1: to athletes or rock stars when it comes to politics, Actually,
- 30:40Speaker 1: we need to take a break. I got so many
- 30:43Speaker 1: questions for you. If I ask a question, feel free
- 30:46Speaker 1: to either call in or to text in on it.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And I know I'm giving you like five or six questions,
- 30:50Speaker 1: but there really are a lot of things that I'm
- 30:54Speaker 1: curious about. So here's one more. When it comes to athletes,
- 30:59Speaker 1: and it comes to me musicians or are just performers whatever,
- 31:03Speaker 1: are there, in fact some that you would listen to
- 31:06Speaker 1: because you believe they give good advice. And if that's
- 31:10Speaker 1: the case, let me know who. And if there are
- 31:12Speaker 1: other people like I don't know, Neil Young or David
- 31:16Speaker 1: Crosby or Bruce Springsteen, and you'd be an idiot to
- 31:19Speaker 1: listen to an idiot, let me know the people that
- 31:22Speaker 1: are in sports or musicians who you have no business
- 31:27Speaker 1: getting advice from them. Seveone nine someone fives, there are
- 31:30Speaker 1: seven four zero. So when I talk about being safe,
- 31:38Speaker 1: it all starts with if you're new to owning a firearm.
- 31:43Speaker 1: A lot of times you might have a parent, grandparent,
- 31:45Speaker 1: and it could have been when you were twelve years old,
- 31:47Speaker 1: et cetera. But there are a lot of other people
- 31:49Speaker 1: who want to be able to defend themselves, protect themselves,
- 31:53Speaker 1: their loved ones and their home, or enjoy it as
- 31:56Speaker 1: a hobby go shooting with some of your friends or
- 31:59Speaker 1: your family. I think it starts with where you're going
- 32:02Speaker 1: to make your purchase from, and I think you need
- 32:04Speaker 1: to do that at the right place because it's the
- 32:06Speaker 1: beginning of a relationship. And that's what I would say
- 32:09Speaker 1: Magnum Shooting Center. When I walk in there, I've got
- 32:12Speaker 1: a relationship with them. The people know me when I
- 32:15Speaker 1: walk in, and it's not just because I'm the radio guy.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's because when I've been there before, they've talked to
- 32:19Speaker 1: me before, so they know me and I know them.
- 32:22Speaker 1: And it feels good to be around people who are
- 32:25Speaker 1: like you. And one of the common denominators is if
- 32:28Speaker 1: I bring in somebody with one of my kids nephew whatever,
- 32:32Speaker 1: and they need to get schooled up. They need to
- 32:35Speaker 1: know how to be safe, not just on the range
- 32:38Speaker 1: but in their life, et cetera. It's the best place
- 32:41Speaker 1: you can take classes there. They're bundling them together for you.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I always recommend that firearms fundamentals class, and I remember
- 32:49Speaker 1: the first time I took that, I felt kind of
- 32:51Speaker 1: stupid because I'm like, all right, I'll take this class,
- 32:54Speaker 1: but I know it all already, don't I amazing how
- 32:58Speaker 1: much of a fundamentals class I ended up learning. Bottom
- 33:01Speaker 1: line though, is you can get trained there, you can
- 33:04Speaker 1: make purchases there, and they've got that ten percent off
- 33:07Speaker 1: everything in the shop, both North location and the Southgate
- 33:11Speaker 1: location as well. You need to be a member, of course,
- 33:15Speaker 1: and that is very easy to do. You go to
- 33:17Speaker 1: Magum Shootingcenter dot com, put in the promo code Richard Randall.
- 33:21Speaker 1: They knock off the initial registration fee and you go
- 33:24Speaker 1: from there visit Maghim Shooting Center dot com. Learn right,
- 33:27Speaker 1: be safe and shoot. Well, all right, I'm going to
- 33:30Speaker 1: get through all of these text messages, David. If it's
- 33:33Speaker 1: the last thing I do, you know, I'm getting the
- 33:36Speaker 1: point like where I shouldn't use terms like that much anymore.
- 33:40Speaker 1: God's been very good to me, and for all of
- 33:43Speaker 1: you who think that you can threaten my life for whatever.
- 33:48Speaker 1: God's got a time and a place and a manner.
- 33:51Speaker 1: So I honestly I don't spend a moment thinking about
- 33:55Speaker 1: it other than to figure out how to protect myself.
- 33:58Speaker 1: From time to time. For the great state of Colorado,
- 34:02Speaker 1: I keep the protest in the sanctuary city of Denver.
- 34:06Speaker 1: These protesters have no reason or business bringing their protests
- 34:10Speaker 1: here to Colorado Springs. They don't do they But you know,
- 34:14Speaker 1: the way I think it works is if they bring
- 34:17Speaker 1: them here, then the numbers are bigger. And if the
- 34:20Speaker 1: numbers are bigger, somehow people feel like, gosh, this is
- 34:23Speaker 1: a movement. I wasn't even aware of this, and this
- 34:26Speaker 1: is a bigger deal than it was, and they're talking
- 34:29Speaker 1: about getting about a registration and doing all these various things.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I have no way of verifying how many people at
- 34:36Speaker 1: a given protest are paid to be there. I'm certain
- 34:40Speaker 1: that there's a percentage that are I have no idea
- 34:43Speaker 1: how many people who are there. We're actually up in
- 34:46Speaker 1: Denver at a protest that day and down at Pueblo
- 34:49Speaker 1: another day. And why would you have protests on a
- 34:51Speaker 1: Friday here and a Saturday here, Because you're smart enough
- 34:54Speaker 1: to know that you can go to the Friday one
- 34:56Speaker 1: here and then you can still go to the Saturday
- 34:59Speaker 1: one over here. We're not dealing with stupid people to
- 35:02Speaker 1: an extent. They are evil people, and they are undermining
- 35:05Speaker 1: a lot of the foundations of America and the America
- 35:09Speaker 1: that I love, but they are very very well organized.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Make no mistake about that one. Come on, Richard, you
- 35:16Speaker 1: know exactly who was on the top level of that
- 35:20Speaker 1: parking garage above the bus terminal that day. Don't act
- 35:24Speaker 1: like you don't. And then it goes on to there
- 35:28Speaker 1: to speculate or say some things there, but there's no
- 35:32Speaker 1: point in doing that. Maybe I do, maybe I don't,
- 35:34Speaker 1: you know what, whatever it was. My bigger point was
- 35:38Speaker 1: when you start having people with guns that protests that
- 35:42Speaker 1: turn into riots, some bad things can happen, and I've
- 35:45Speaker 1: seen it happen. You really like what I don't know,
- 35:49Speaker 1: like a guy taking a nine millimeter to his face
- 35:54Speaker 1: and being dead by the time he hit the pavement. Yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 1: that was up in Denver. That was a purported bodyguard
- 36:02Speaker 1: who is defending himself against bear spray right. I'm not
- 36:07Speaker 1: a judge in a jury. I'm just here to tell
- 36:09Speaker 1: you that whether it is Ashley Babbitt or a lot
- 36:13Speaker 1: of other people, they would have you only believe that
- 36:17Speaker 1: it is Reday Good or Alex Pretty, who are the
- 36:22Speaker 1: victims here? I want you? And I'm gonna post this
- 36:26Speaker 1: on social media every day. I'm gonna talk about it
- 36:29Speaker 1: on the radio program every day. I'll do a mini
- 36:32Speaker 1: podcast that will be on social media every day as well.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And what will it do. It will take a real victim,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and it'll probably start out with Lake and Riley, because
- 36:41Speaker 1: I think that is probably the best known case among us,
- 36:46Speaker 1: but it's certainly not the best known case when it
- 36:49Speaker 1: comes to others. In fact, I do a little bit
- 36:53Speaker 1: of quizzing when I go to some of these protests,
- 36:55Speaker 1: So what do you think of Lake and Rowley? And
- 36:57Speaker 1: if they have a blank stare, then I know they
- 37:00Speaker 1: don't know what damn thing about that. And if I
- 37:03Speaker 1: say who's that guy on the horse on that statue
- 37:06Speaker 1: down there and I get a blank stare, I don't know,
- 37:09Speaker 1: Well that means you're probably not from here. I don't
- 37:12Speaker 1: know if it means you're from Denver or Pueblo, or
- 37:15Speaker 1: you just moved here yesterday. But there are little things
- 37:17Speaker 1: that you can do to try to figure some things
- 37:19Speaker 1: out comes in by text. These are all text messages.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Open carrying Colorado is fine, but when you block traffic,
- 37:26Speaker 1: I would think that becomes brandishing a firearm, which is illegal,
- 37:31Speaker 1: maybe a menacing charge. To ask your Second Amendment attorney.
- 37:34Speaker 1: We'll have James T. Cook on next week to talk
- 37:37Speaker 1: about some of these things. I can tell you this,
- 37:40Speaker 1: I try to understand law enforcement here. I try to
- 37:45Speaker 1: understand law enforcement and what they do or don't have
- 37:48Speaker 1: to do. Many times we just flat out outnumbered and
- 37:52Speaker 1: they might not have the options that they would generally
- 37:54Speaker 1: prefer to have. But by the same token, when it
- 37:58Speaker 1: comes to blocking traffic, that's a crime, and it seems
- 38:05Speaker 1: to delight these people. It goes back to the Black
- 38:08Speaker 1: Lives Matter Colorado College protesters shutting down not just where
- 38:13Speaker 1: they had a permit. They had a permit to shut
- 38:14Speaker 1: down Cascade as it went through CC, but then they
- 38:17Speaker 1: started marching all over the downtown area and shutting down traffic,
- 38:22Speaker 1: and one of them, I've got it on videotape it
- 38:24Speaker 1: torks me off to no end. One of the leaders
- 38:26Speaker 1: of that group, as they were leaving the area they
- 38:28Speaker 1: had a permit for and we're going to go marching downtown.
- 38:33Speaker 1: She goes past one of the police officers there and
- 38:35Speaker 1: kind of gives him a forearm shiver, if you could
- 38:38Speaker 1: use that term. But it wasn't very hard, but it
- 38:41Speaker 1: was enough of honestly, could have been charged with assaulting
- 38:45Speaker 1: a police officer.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Was not.
- 38:48Speaker 1: But when you allow behavior in the case of this
- 38:53Speaker 1: Alex pretty he's able to spit on people, he's able
- 38:57Speaker 1: to pound on vehicles, he's able to damage a vehicle. Richard,
- 39:01Speaker 1: is a couple one hundred dollars to repair that? Well,
- 39:04Speaker 1: that was the same thing up there in Pulpit Rock. Yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 1: people who were coming home from work, they didn't know
- 39:08Speaker 1: what their neighborhood was going to be like up there
- 39:11Speaker 1: Pulpit Rock. They may have known that they had a
- 39:13Speaker 1: law enforcement officer who lived over there. They didn't expect
- 39:16Speaker 1: people to be pounding on their vehicles and breaking parts
- 39:19Speaker 1: of their vehicles. Not big, major damage, but the stuff
- 39:23Speaker 1: I was looking at probably a couple thousand here, a
- 39:25Speaker 1: couple thousand there. You shouldn't have to endure that when
- 39:28Speaker 1: you come home, and you shouldn't have to say, well,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna drive all the way around so I don't
- 39:33Speaker 1: have to contend with these people who are laying on
- 39:36Speaker 1: the ground down there by the antlers and impeding traffic.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Or better yet, the people who shut down N twenty
- 39:44Speaker 1: five here in the Springs, YEP. I went there too,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and I was They shut down all of the northbound
- 39:50Speaker 1: lanes and probably I don't know a dozen people, maybe
- 39:54Speaker 1: eighteen four or five different vehicles. They got everything shut down.
- 39:58Speaker 1: So I go over to talk with him. That's what
- 40:00Speaker 1: I do, right, go over to talk with them. I
- 40:01Speaker 1: can tell you this. The majority of them were drunk
- 40:05Speaker 1: or stoned, YEP. And they were having a grand old
- 40:09Speaker 1: time because they had the power to shut down and interstate.
- 40:14Speaker 1: And I tried talking commons. You ever tried talking common
- 40:17Speaker 1: sense to somebody who's drunk and stoned. YEP. There's Richard
- 40:21Speaker 1: Randall and he's saying, dude, you see all of these
- 40:24Speaker 1: headlights because it was already backed up a couple of miles.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Do you think any of those people in any of
- 40:30Speaker 1: those vehicles are going to say, you know what? You
- 40:33Speaker 1: persuaded me I had to wait here for two hours
- 40:36Speaker 1: just to get home from work or to take my
- 40:38Speaker 1: kid to school or whatever, and you inconvenienced me in
- 40:41Speaker 1: my life for two hours. But now I believe in
- 40:43Speaker 1: your cause. And you know what the response was, in essence,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care. So that's not productive
- 40:53Speaker 1: at all. What would it be then, well, it's very simple.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It feels good. That's all. Good to do that and
- 41:02Speaker 1: that explains half of this. And I don't mean to
- 41:05Speaker 1: be rude either, but a lot of these people are
- 41:07Speaker 1: just losers. And given all of the other, you know,
- 41:10Speaker 1: ways that you would measure things, I'm not talking about
- 41:13Speaker 1: popularity and looks and all that, just what I look
- 41:16Speaker 1: at some of these people and I'm like, you know, boy,
- 41:19Speaker 1: that person doesn't look like anybody I know or you know, Griff,
- 41:23Speaker 1: you're on seven forty kb AR, Good morning, Griff. What
- 41:25Speaker 1: do you got?
- 41:27Speaker 2: Dude? When you said we weren't limited to a call
- 41:29Speaker 2: a week, I almost felt like you were reaching out.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So here I am. I have heard something that I
- 41:34Speaker 2: must share with you. Please these mostly women, I don't
- 41:39Speaker 2: understand the dudes that are involved themselves. Also, I love
- 41:42Speaker 2: when you use the word dude, I just that's you know,
- 41:45Speaker 2: I like it when you've done it down. But listen, man,
- 41:47Speaker 2: I think I've heard something that makes sense to me.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Because a lot of these childless old females that have
- 41:56Speaker 2: this empathy, you know, this suicide empathy. I say, think
- 42:00Speaker 2: I know what's up because they seem like otherwise they're
- 42:02Speaker 2: good people. They run cat shelters, they volunteer. I think
- 42:05Speaker 2: they have unrealized maternal energy, meaning like Renee Good, she
- 42:10Speaker 2: had a serious issue with her kids, like she had
- 42:12Speaker 2: mommy stuff going on. I'm not talking to her mother,
- 42:14Speaker 2: I'm talking.
- 42:15Speaker 4: With her kids.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yep.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I think these women are just they go like they
- 42:19Speaker 2: go grizzly mom on the app of whatever a grieved
- 42:24Speaker 2: demographic they believe is being persecuted, and they do it
- 42:27Speaker 2: with such zeal and such mindless pursuit that I think
- 42:32Speaker 2: it's instinctual because they don't seem to be like really
- 42:35Speaker 2: horrible people. They have grievous thinking errors, but they're so
- 42:38Speaker 2: rabbit about it. I think it's like a seriously untapped
- 42:42Speaker 2: maternal energy, because otherwise they're just stupid.
- 42:47Speaker 1: So here's this is one of the reasons. And thank you,
- 42:50Speaker 1: because I want you to understand that this is exactly
- 42:53Speaker 1: if I say, you know, we're going to change the
- 42:55Speaker 1: roles back a little bit more. It doesn't mean, you know,
- 42:57Speaker 1: you can pontificate and go on forever, because that is
- 43:00Speaker 1: in fact my job. But you have answered the question
- 43:03Speaker 1: that I've been asking for a long time, and that
- 43:05Speaker 1: is how do we explain this? Because any rational person
- 43:09Speaker 1: would say, well, of course I want this rapist out
- 43:12Speaker 1: of my neighborhood. I'm not going to hit in the
- 43:15Speaker 1: way of somebody who's going to remove a problem from
- 43:17Speaker 1: my neighborhood. The fact that it probably wasn't their neighborhood,
- 43:20Speaker 1: the fact that they didn't know exactly who they were
- 43:23Speaker 1: there for. And I've heard from people who said, well,
- 43:26Speaker 1: for all you know, Richard, they were just there for
- 43:28Speaker 1: somebody who was a gardener or dishwasher. Yeah, well that
- 43:31Speaker 1: could be or it could be that that person was
- 43:33Speaker 1: a pedophile who had a sidemized you know, half a
- 43:36Speaker 1: dozen kids up there. But the key ingredient here is
- 43:40Speaker 1: that Renee Good and her wife or whatever had no
- 43:44Speaker 1: idea whatsoever. They lumped everybody together. If you're here illegally,
- 43:48Speaker 1: or isis trying to detain or you know, apprehend you
- 43:52Speaker 1: you must be the victim. And what you just said, Griff,
- 43:55Speaker 1: explains a lot, because I can tell you when I
- 43:58Speaker 1: go down to these things, if you had one cluster
- 44:01Speaker 1: that shows up more than anything else, it is women
- 44:05Speaker 1: who are older than fifty sixty in most cases gray hair,
- 44:11Speaker 1: and you talk to them and they're not filled with bitrio.
- 44:15Speaker 1: I mean, some of them are, but the majority of
- 44:18Speaker 1: them fit what you're talking about right there. And I
- 44:21Speaker 1: think it's the human desire to do something good, the
- 44:25Speaker 1: human desire to be relevant. And if they buy into this,
- 44:30Speaker 1: then they're doing all of that. It breaks down, however,
- 44:34Speaker 1: when they should realize that they're making no distinction between
- 44:39Speaker 1: anybody who just walked across the border and is here
- 44:42Speaker 1: illegally and somebody who has committed horrific crimes in the
- 44:45Speaker 1: country of origin or in this country. And I know
- 44:48Speaker 1: what you're going to say, all you liberals, Well, Ice
- 44:50Speaker 1: isn't making that distinction either. I believe they are, and
- 44:53Speaker 1: I believe Tom Homan going forward, they're going to be
- 44:56Speaker 1: much much more specific about that. And that does that
- 45:00Speaker 1: mean we're going to tolerate people who are in the
- 45:02Speaker 1: country illegally. No, But this is a long term thing.
- 45:05Speaker 1: We're not going to get things done within you know,
- 45:08Speaker 1: the first year of a term or the second. Let's
- 45:10Speaker 1: take a short break. I said, you can call in
- 45:12Speaker 1: a couple times per week. Thank you, griff, I appreciate
- 45:15Speaker 1: hearing from you. We'll take a short break and be back.
- 45:17Speaker 1: The number for calls or for text seven to one, nine,
- 45:20Speaker 1: seven to one to five zero seven four zero. Remind
- 45:24Speaker 1: you bet again. Great radio tomorrow. Well, it's always a
- 45:27Speaker 1: great radio on seven forty KBR. But if you were
- 45:30Speaker 1: somebody you know is liable to be thinking about making
- 45:33Speaker 1: a move in the next couple of years. And I
- 45:35Speaker 1: primarily talk about Barbi Schlinker in terms of the selling,
- 45:38Speaker 1: but she also represents people who are buying, in fact,
- 45:41Speaker 1: even buying a brand new bill, So keep that in mind.
- 45:44Speaker 1: But from eleven in till noon, that's right after Cudlow,
- 45:47Speaker 1: you get a complete hour with her. She's the host.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I sit in with her to moderate just a little bit.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I can't tell you I felt like I've gone to
- 45:54Speaker 1: real estate school the past couple of years by learning
- 45:57Speaker 1: so much from her program. And the reason I recommend
- 46:01Speaker 1: it to you even if you yourself are not interested
- 46:04Speaker 1: or don't think you're interested in selling right now, there's
- 46:07Speaker 1: probably somebody in your circle of coworkers and family and
- 46:11Speaker 1: neighbors and all the rest who is. And I just
- 46:13Speaker 1: want back of your mind. Top of mind, I guess
- 46:16Speaker 1: is how they say it now that when something like
- 46:18Speaker 1: that comes up, the first thing you say is, you
- 46:20Speaker 1: know what you ought to think about hiring this woman,
- 46:23Speaker 1: Barb Schlinker, your homesold guaranteed realty, and do what you
- 46:26Speaker 1: would do if you're hiring anybody else, and that is
- 46:29Speaker 1: give her an audition, give her an interview, sit down
- 46:32Speaker 1: and talk with her. We talk with other people too,
- 46:35Speaker 1: Because I'm here to tell you, if you talk with
- 46:37Speaker 1: five people and one of them is Barb Schlinker, I
- 46:39Speaker 1: have all the faith in the world. You're gonna go
- 46:41Speaker 1: with Barb Schlinker. And part of it's going to be
- 46:43Speaker 1: that she can guarantee to sell it and to sell
- 46:46Speaker 1: it for the price you agree on. If that doesn't happen,
- 46:48Speaker 1: what happens, well, it's in writing. So she's gonna make
- 46:51Speaker 1: up the difference to you seven one nine three, one
- 46:53Speaker 1: thirty nine hundred, or Barb has the buyers dot Com
- 46:56Speaker 1: we change the rule so we'll see how this goes.
- 46:59Speaker 1: You can call twice this week and we'll see. As
- 47:01Speaker 1: long as people stay within the bounds and stay on
- 47:04Speaker 1: topic and keep it fairly short, I think this is
- 47:06Speaker 1: going to work. David, you're on seven forty K you
- 47:08Speaker 1: are what do you have? David?
- 47:11Speaker 4: Good morning, Doctor Randalls CRS eighteen dash three dash three
- 47:16Speaker 4: oh three. False imprisonment. If a protester is not allowing
- 47:22Speaker 4: your car to move forward and you cannot back up,
- 47:26Speaker 4: you are being You are the victim of false imprisonment
- 47:30Speaker 4: and can press charges. I would recommend that people that
- 47:35Speaker 4: get caught in this take pictures of these people that
- 47:38Speaker 4: are detaining them illegally detaining them, and then press charges.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Let me thank you and let me thinking I think
- 47:49Speaker 1: you texted from time to time. I can go back
- 47:51Speaker 1: and listen to the podcast and get that exact citation
- 47:55Speaker 1: if we had been doing that all when we I
- 47:57Speaker 1: mean America or law enforcement. I always think there's this
- 48:01Speaker 1: a big protest out there near San Jose State a
- 48:04Speaker 1: couple of years ago, and it was the morning rush hour,
- 48:07Speaker 1: and it was only like about eighteen twenty students maybe right,
- 48:12Speaker 1: and they didn't have cars or anything. They just you know,
- 48:15Speaker 1: stood across the three or four lanes of traffic, and
- 48:19Speaker 1: traffic is backed up for miles and miles and miles.
- 48:22Speaker 1: And I remember one guy because I had him on
- 48:24Speaker 1: the show as this black guy who was so angry.
- 48:27Speaker 1: This is BLM thing, right, So he is so angry,
- 48:30Speaker 1: and his point is just the point I think most
- 48:33Speaker 1: of us would make. And that is, even if I
- 48:35Speaker 1: agreed with you on what your grievance is, shutting me
- 48:39Speaker 1: down from getting to work is not a good idea,
- 48:42Speaker 1: because he's I think he said, I'll see if we
- 48:44Speaker 1: can find the clip maybe and play it. I've got
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm working three jobs. I need to be work here
- 48:49Speaker 1: because I'm not there on time, I'm liable to lose
- 48:51Speaker 1: my job. You had all of these people, they were
- 48:53Speaker 1: in scrubs. I don't know if there are nurses, doctors, whatever.
- 48:56Speaker 1: They're all standing out there, and it annoyed the hell
- 48:59Speaker 1: out of me because law enforcement, they, like I said,
- 49:02Speaker 1: they only had to arrest maybe twenty twenty five people.
- 49:05Speaker 1: You get out there, you arrest them, and you solve
- 49:07Speaker 1: the problem. And to their credit, remember it's just telling
- 49:10Speaker 1: me about I twenty five being shut down here in
- 49:12Speaker 1: the Springs. Right around that same time, they tried shutting
- 49:15Speaker 1: down I twenty five up in Denver, and to their credit,
- 49:19Speaker 1: and I don't remember if it was Denver, it's you know,
- 49:21Speaker 1: whether it's Sea dot might make it stay patrol water.
- 49:24Speaker 1: They got that thing remedy pretty quickly. But if you
- 49:28Speaker 1: allow things like you know this Alex predit, you allow
- 49:31Speaker 1: him to you know, spin on people and pound on
- 49:35Speaker 1: cars and break parts of cars. Of course he's going
- 49:38Speaker 1: to come back to the next protest and think he
- 49:40Speaker 1: can do that all over again. The message needs to
- 49:43Speaker 1: be no, you can't do all of this all over again.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Right here we go, like you, I'm a big believer
- 49:50Speaker 1: in nationalism and putting America first. Now we need to
- 49:53Speaker 1: change the name of Ice to Nice. And you're thinking, wait,
- 49:59Speaker 1: what I mean hounds less than occuous? It doesn't sound threatening.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Nice is here to see you. They're out in the hall.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Well I go say hi to them. It would be
- 50:07Speaker 1: National Immigration and Customs Enforcement. I like that, especially the
- 50:13Speaker 1: little uh, the little sarcasm there. Oh here you come.
- 50:18Speaker 1: This is one for you, Griff. It says Griff is wrong.
- 50:21Speaker 1: It's all Trump derangement center. So I think you're both
- 50:25Speaker 1: on the same page, but your thing about the maternal thing,
- 50:28Speaker 1: which I think there's some merit there, and I do
- 50:31Speaker 1: want to spend an entire show for us trying to
- 50:35Speaker 1: figure out really what is at work here, because I
- 50:39Speaker 1: know for my social media going all the way back
- 50:42Speaker 1: to people I went to problem with people I dated
- 50:44Speaker 1: in college, people I love, they love me. We worked
- 50:48Speaker 1: in a job together, we played on this sports team together,
- 50:51Speaker 1: we were in a rock band together. They were my neighbors.
- 50:53Speaker 1: I went to grammar school. All of these people who
- 50:57Speaker 1: still we keep in contact with each other, and so
- 51:00Speaker 1: some of them are just trump deranged. And I keep
- 51:03Speaker 1: going back over and over, and how do we get
- 51:06Speaker 1: to this place? I come back to, it's the mainstream
- 51:09Speaker 1: media and the source of information. You've got the best
- 51:11Speaker 1: source of information right here, KVR
