- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here. Now let me ask you this
- 0:42question. Do you ever feel sometimes that
- 0:46things are going too well that actually it can't?
- 0:50Go on like. This way, something has to go
- 0:53wrong. Maybe you feel like you're
- 0:55waiting for that shoe to drop or the rug to be pulled from
- 0:59beneath your feet and everything's going to go
- 1:00crumbling down. If you can relate to any of
- 1:04those symbols or metaphors, this session might be useful for you.
- 1:08Because I was working with a client that actually it felt
- 1:12safe, unsafe to feel safe, if that makes any sense at all.
- 1:15That if things were going OK, then they had a tendency in the
- 1:20past to kind of. Cause a bit.
- 1:22Of chaos because at least it was predictable chaos that they were
- 1:26the instigator of rather than something just happening in
- 1:29their life that they couldn't preempt or predict.
- 1:32They had certain beliefs about worthiness, that they were
- 1:35worthy of having good things in their life.
- 1:38They had a belief that if good things happen, then something
- 1:41wrong is going to happen soon. And also this kind of idea that
- 1:46certain. Things.
- 1:47Are connected that actually there's certain things that if
- 1:51they're doing things then it could all be messed up and then
- 1:56in the past they would be the instigator of that and they
- 1:58didn't want to repeat that pattern.
- 2:01There are certain core beliefs that get changed in this
- 2:04session. At its core, it's about
- 2:06worthiness. It's feeling like they are
- 2:09worthy and deserving of stability and good things, and
- 2:14that actually they've earned their ability to have these good
- 2:18things by being wise and discerning, rather than just
- 2:22random encounters which can feel a bit unpredictable.
- 2:25So if you want to change that feeling of dread, that something
- 2:29bad's going to happen, or it could be a nightmare around the
- 2:32corner, you might get some value from this.
- 2:35Particularly if you can connect with the idea that in the past
- 2:38you've been the instigator of chaos, because you'd rather
- 2:40create the chaos than experience chaos that someone else has
- 2:44created. Any of these things connect.
- 2:46You might get the value from this session, and if you want a
- 2:49bespoke session that is entirely based around you, have a look in
- 2:52the description and you'll find some links to work with me in
- 2:55different ways. That might be a free
- 2:56consultation call or just download some courses.
- 2:59That I have. For now, though, find a quiet,
- 3:02comfortable place where you won't be distracted or
- 3:04disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 3:25Take a deep breath in and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 3:35slow, long, relaxing breath and as you exhale, that's it.
- 3:41Just release all tension in your eyelids and with your eyes
- 3:45closed, give permission to relax and release.
- 3:57Scan your body for any clues of tension, maybe your jaw, your
- 4:06neck, your shoulders. Sometimes there's a muscle in
- 4:12the hand or a foot, the arm or the leg, that just doesn't need
- 4:18to be tense right now. And as you breathe in that
- 4:23feeling of calm relaxation, you can release that tension in the
- 4:31outward breath. Just feel it melting away like
- 4:37an ice cube melting in the sunshine on a beach in a place
- 4:45of paradise. As your body relaxes, your
- 4:51imagination awakens and I wonder if you could imagine being on an
- 5:00island of white sand. Just imagine blue skies and
- 5:09sunshine and just imagine seeing that ice cube in the palm of
- 5:18your hand and allow it to represent any remaining tension
- 5:24in your body. As you imagine the waves gently
- 5:29breaking on the shore and the sun beating down on that ice
- 5:34cube. Breath by breath, just allow the
- 5:38ice cube to melt away and as it does feel the same tension being
- 5:46released in your muscle tissue, breathing gets deeper.
- 5:54That's it. Feeling more and more
- 6:00comfortably relaxed. As you walk down the beach, I
- 6:06want you to imagine seeing wooden villas in the sea and
- 6:16maybe there's a wooden walkway to access those villas.
- 6:23And just imagine seeing the clear waters, fish swimming by.
- 6:30Still feel the sun on your skin until you find.
- 6:36The Villa. At the end of that walkway, the
- 6:40largest of the villas standing in front of the door, and I'm
- 6:45going to count down from 5:00 to 1:00.
- 6:48And you will imagine opening that wooden door and walking
- 6:53into this magnificent villa there above the water, 5 putting
- 7:03your hand on the handle, 4 turning that handle, 3 opening
- 7:11the door, and two, walking inside that villa.
- 7:18That's it. One, closing the door behind
- 7:20you. And I want you to explore this
- 7:25wonderful wooden villa there on the water.
- 7:32Maybe you see a balcony looking out to just endless shallow
- 7:39waters. And maybe you could imagine a
- 7:45hammock or a comfortable bed. And I want you to imagine
- 7:49choosing the most comfortable place.
- 7:54Maybe it's a comfortable bed that looks directly out at the
- 8:00tropical waters, humidity in the air, and yet a cool breeze.
- 8:10And just imagine putting your head on a pillow, sinking into
- 8:14the bed and still hearing the sound of waves gently breaking
- 8:21as each breath takes you deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 8:30That's it. And I want you to synchronize
- 8:38with the rhythm of your breathing, the waves, and just
- 8:44connect with this wonderful feeling of relaxation.
- 8:54And as you notice the gentle rhythm of breath moving in and
- 8:58out, connect to an idea that right now, nothing is wrong.
- 9:08There's no problems to solve. There are certainly no shoes
- 9:13dropping and no unwanted surprises waiting.
- 9:21Just this moment and the quiet yet powerful intelligence of
- 9:27your mind and body responding to the safety you feel now.
- 9:38And every outward breath, just allow a different part of your
- 9:41body to relax. Your jaw, your hands, your
- 9:46fingertips. Feel a ripple of relaxation
- 9:51going down your head, down your chest, all the way into your
- 9:56gut, rippling down into your legs, all the way down to the
- 10:02tips of your toes. And if there's any trace of
- 10:07anxiety, consider it like a tiny wave.
- 10:12It rises, it falls, it disappears.
- 10:15And that's OK. And maybe you remember a time
- 10:24when you were a small child feeling real excitement at the
- 10:30idea of Santa Claus or tooth fairies.
- 10:36And if you could feel real emotion from a false belief,
- 10:41then isn't it possible that you're feeling real emotions
- 10:48from false beliefs that you have right now?
- 10:56And as your body settles, your mind begins to drift, the kind
- 11:02of way it does just before you drift off to sleep, or in that
- 11:08first 5 minutes after waking, where those thoughts lose their
- 11:14sharp edges and sometimes profound insights just arrive,
- 11:22like epiphanies without effort. Keep your body there in that
- 11:29bed, and allow your imagination to wander out on the balcony.
- 11:40See the ripple of waves, how still the water seems to be, and
- 11:49you may notice a strange impulse, an urge to throw a
- 11:54stone into the water to create ripples, to test whether these
- 12:02calm sea waters are real. And what if just noticing that
- 12:09urge is already a sign of growth?
- 12:21In the past, you allowed your impulses and urges to shake
- 12:28things up, and this is how you know you've already evolved.
- 12:36Because you don't need to act on every urge and impulse anymore.
- 12:43You can simply watch it and see how it fades when you don't feed
- 12:51those echoes of old urges. And as the water remains calm,
- 13:00connect to that idea that calm and stable does not mean
- 13:06fragile. What if calm means that you're
- 13:11strong enough not to be disturbed?
- 13:18And as you step closer to the water, I want you to imagine
- 13:25seeing a reflection looking back at you.
- 13:29Not the old version of you, the one who needed reassurance
- 13:36through chaos. But there's a new version
- 13:42emerging, more grounded, more aware, more capable of staying
- 13:50present with uncertainty. And something shifts here
- 13:58because this reflection knows something your conscious mind is
- 14:02still catching up to that you no longer need turbulence to feel
- 14:10secure. Good things can last.
- 14:18At one time, your mind learned to rule.
- 14:23If things are good, they won't last.
- 14:29And that belief once served a purpose.
- 14:34It tried to protect you from disappointment, but now it's
- 14:41outdated. So allow your unconscious mind
- 14:47to update that rule instantly where they no longer reflect
- 14:55reality. So allow this new truth to take
- 15:02root. Good things don't tempt fate.
- 15:11Good things create momentum. Stability does not invite loss.
- 15:23It increases the probability of even more stability.
- 15:31And if something unexpected ever happens, that's just life.
- 15:37It's a blip, not a pattern, not a prophecy, and certainly not
- 15:46return to chaos. Your mind no longer needs to
- 15:52scan for danger in calm moments. Calm is no longer suspicious.
- 16:02Calm is earned, and once that belief, then good things mean
- 16:12more good things are on their way.
- 16:14Let me know by nodding your head.
- 16:20That's it. So now bring your attention to a
- 16:24deeper belief, the one that lived just underneath the
- 16:29surface. Some people have a fear that
- 16:36they're not worthy of good, stable love and connection.
- 16:44And maybe there's a part of you that still connects to that idea
- 16:50that can feel scary. Maybe it has a weight, a
- 16:55location, a sensation. Because if there's a belief that
- 17:01you're not worthy, there could be a fear that you might be left
- 17:07abandoned, swapped, or changed. But that belief is like a
- 17:18parasite that trains energy. So just allow that belief or an
- 17:27echo of it to dissolve, because that was just a fear and never a
- 17:34truth, an old conclusion formed without full information.
- 17:44You're not lucky to be building a good life.
- 17:49You are qualified for it. You've done the work, you've
- 17:55learned, you've grown. The relationship you're in is a
- 18:03direct result of your wisdom, discernment, boundaries, and
- 18:10intentions. This is not luck or accident.
- 18:17You manifested this and therefore you deserve it.
- 18:27And because you've earned this relationship, you get to enjoy
- 18:32it even more. You have that right to
- 18:40experience love that is steady, kind, consistent, mature and
- 18:48joyful. And you don't have to prove
- 18:53yourself anymore, and certainly no need to destabilize things to
- 18:59check if you matter, because you already know that you do.
- 19:07And once your. Nervous system accepts that.
- 19:09True. And now let me know by nodding
- 19:13your head. That's it.
- 19:19And I want you to feel how your body is changing with these new
- 19:25beliefs. So let's add one more belief
- 19:30about the future. Some people feel that the future
- 19:38is scary because you don't know what may happen.
- 19:45So notice any discomfort around not knowing what happens next.
- 19:52Maybe there was a part deep within that said uncertainty in
- 19:57the future means danger. But what if that belief belonged
- 20:04to a time when you didn't trust yourself to that version of you
- 20:09that would sabotage and shake things up, but now you've
- 20:18progressed to a new level, a new level of worthiness.
- 20:29And what if uncertainty no longer means threat?
- 20:34I want you to find deep within the part of you that loves
- 20:38excitement, new experiences. Consider it the opposite of
- 20:45boredom. From now on, uncertainty means
- 20:52possibility. So what do you think about the
- 20:55future and you're not sure what's going to happen?
- 21:00Imagine that inner voice with a childlike excitement.
- 21:07It feels like a world of possibilities, and if the future
- 21:13isn't infinite possibilities, then what is?
- 21:19The future means excitement, adventure, discovery,
- 21:26spontaneity and you don't need guarantees to feel safe, you
- 21:36need self trust and you have that.
- 21:43So whatever comes, you can respond and whatever shifts you
- 21:48can adapt and whatever unfolds, you can meet it as yourself
- 21:59worthy, grounded and present. Just imagine returning into the
- 22:08villa and just imagine seeing a wall that looks futuristic there
- 22:19in that wooden villa. And we can call this a wall of
- 22:24your future. Maybe it has images, screens,
- 22:31maybe it looks like a hologram. And I want you to see yourself
- 22:40continuing to evolve in your career, looking worthy of all of
- 22:46that responsibility. And then imagine yourself in
- 22:52that loving relationship and see that version of you where the
- 22:59stability enhances the relationship, the consistency
- 23:09makes it more valuable, not less.
- 23:13See that future version of you feeling that you have earned,
- 23:19deserve, and created the very things that you were looking
- 23:26for. And then step into that future
- 23:32and just notice how calm it feels in your body and notice
- 23:36how normal it feels. And in that future, you're not
- 23:42waiting for the shoe to drop. No testing, no creating drama to
- 23:51engineer reassurance, just presence.
- 23:58And in those moments where anxiety comes, even briefly,
- 24:04there's no need to act on it. You just breathe, observe, and
- 24:09let it pass. Reassurance no longer comes from
- 24:17external drama. Reassurance comes from internal
- 24:22certainty. And as you continue building
- 24:28this life, this love, this future, your mind understands
- 24:36something fundamental. You're not afraid of stability
- 24:42or predictability anymore. The future will give you just
- 24:48enough uncertainty to keep you engaged.
- 24:56You don't need any more just to find reassurance.
- 25:01You deserve all these things that make you feel good.
- 25:09You belong here. And just imagine getting up out
- 25:14of that bed, walking down wooden walkway back to the beach.
- 25:25Imagine your feet on soft white sands.
- 25:31And imagine connecting with a feeling of absolute worthiness,
- 25:36a feeling of inner connection. Good things mean more good
- 25:44things. You feel worthy of a wonderful
- 25:51future. And as you hold these new
- 25:57beliefs to be true, feel yourself floating all the way
- 26:03back to the present, taking all of these wonderful changes with
- 26:08you. So take a deep breath in through
- 26:11your nose and out through your nose.
- 26:17Wiggle your fingers. Wiggle your toes, connect and
- 26:21calibrate into the here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to
- 26:2710:00 to awaken you. Starting to count 123 waking up
