- 0:27Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable, and softly repeat
- 0:33to yourself, I am still, I am peaceful. Take a
- 0:42deep breath into your nose and slowly and gently breathe
- 0:49out through your mouth. Again. Take a deep breath in
- 0:57through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through
- 1:04your mouth. Again. Deep breath in through your nose, and
- 1:15slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. That's fantastic,
- 1:23You're doing really really well. Now imagine that your feet
- 1:32feel all floppy and limp, but very very relaxed, almost
- 1:39as if they're falling asleep, but not quite. And now
- 1:45imagine all of your body feeling the same way, all
- 1:51floppy and limp, and it's like you feel all free
- 1:57and floaty. It's like you're just floating anywhere you want,
- 2:05with nowhere special to be, and you are so relaxed,
- 2:12and you feel so very happy. I imagine that you
- 2:19have roots growing out from the soles of your feet,
- 2:24roots that look just like the roots of a tree,
- 2:28very long and very wobbly, and they are anchoring you
- 2:33into the ground, keeping you safe and strong. And you
- 2:39can hear your roots growing through the ground, and you
- 2:42can hear them as they push their way through the soil.
- 2:47Can you hear it? I can you can feel the
- 2:54earth moving aside for your roots to pass? Can you
- 2:57feel that too? Can you feel the soil under your feet?
- 3:05Can you feel it moving? Does it tickle you just
- 3:10a little bit? Now? Notice how your body is relaxing
- 3:19so much more. Just allow your muscles to become so
- 3:26very soft and so very limp, and you feel so
- 3:33lovely and warm, and you tingle just a little bit.
- 3:39It feels so comfortable, and your body just seems to
- 3:45relax more and more with every word that you hear,
- 3:50deeper and deeper. It's a pure relaxation. Now this here's
- 4:00a little story, a short one about two great friends.
- 4:06So once upon a time, in the icy wonderland of
- 4:10the South Pole, there lived a cheerful, happy penguin whose
- 4:16name was Percy. Now Percy had sleek black and white
- 4:22feathers that kept him warm in the frosty air, and
- 4:25he just loved exploring the vast, sparkling snowfields and playing
- 4:31with his friends. Now, one day Percy heard about a
- 4:38magical park made entirely of ice, and excitement filled his
- 4:43heart as he waddled his way through the glistening snow
- 4:47looking for this enchanting place. Soon after, he stumbled upon
- 4:53the park, and it was a breathtaking sight. It was
- 4:58created entirely from ice and snow, had it shone like
- 5:03the sun and glistened and sparkled. The park was adorned
- 5:11with magnificent sculptures of flowers, and each petal sparkled like
- 5:16a diamond in the sunlight, making it even brighter, even shinier.
- 5:24As Percy marveled at the icy beauty, he noticed a
- 5:29friendly polar bear whose name was Jeff. Jeff had a thick,
- 5:35snowy white coat and a playful twinkle in his eyes,
- 5:39and he was very big, so big, in fact, that
- 5:43Percy was only the size of one of Jeff's big paws.
- 5:50Percy approached Jeff with a warm smile, and they quickly
- 5:55became the best of friends. They did look an odd sight, though,
- 5:59a giant polar bear and a tiny penguin walking side
- 6:04by side. It was really quite funny to see. Percy
- 6:11asked Jeff if he would like to play on the
- 6:13icy park with him. Well, of course, Jess said yes,
- 6:17I would. He told Percy that he had wanted to
- 6:21explore this place himself, but didn't want to do it
- 6:24on his own. Percy told him not to worry, as
- 6:28they could now do it together now that they were
- 6:30best friends. So Percy and Jeff began to explore the
- 6:37ice park together. They slid down the sparkling ice slides
- 6:43and then they shot off the bottom of it because
- 6:45it was so slippy, and they landed with a bump,
- 6:49and this made them both laugh out loud. Next, they
- 6:55ran over to play on the frozen merry go round,
- 6:59twirling round and round until they both got dizzy, and
- 7:03then they had to sit down in the snow to
- 7:05stop the spinning. But they were having so much fun together.
- 7:09All they were doing was laughing and having fun. They
- 7:12were really enjoying themselves. Then they giggled as they tossed
- 7:19snowballs at each other. Percy got Jeff with a snowball
- 7:23right on top of his head, making Jeff splutter as
- 7:26some of it actually went in his mouth, but it
- 7:29tasted good. Though. They laughed so much that the sound
- 7:34of it echoed through the crisp, clean air, and with
- 7:39every step that they took, they left behind delicate footprints
- 7:44in the soft, powdery snow. Well, Percy's were delicate, and
- 7:52there were Jeff's great, big, poor marks and Percy's tiny
- 7:56little web ones. So yeah, Percy's were delicate, Jeff's not
- 8:01so much. They walked into the heart of this beautiful
- 8:07park and it's there they discovered a cozy igloo made
- 8:12entirely of ice, and it had a tiny little door
- 8:15to so they squeezed inside. Well, it really was a
- 8:21squeeze for Jeff as he was so big, but he
- 8:24managed it, and then he promptly fell flat on his
- 8:27big ferry face. They both laughed out loud, and Jeff
- 8:32got up and brushed himself down. Inside the little igloo,
- 8:37it was nice and warm, and they decided to have
- 8:41a little look around, and there was lots of things
- 8:44there that they could use. But what they did find
- 8:48was big soft beds made of fluffy snow. And they
- 8:53were feeling a bit tired now, well they would be
- 8:57after all that playing and running around and having snowball fights.
- 9:03They decided they needed a little sleep, so they snuggled
- 9:09up together, feeling the coolness of the ice against their
- 9:14feathers and the fair but they weren't cold at all
- 9:18because they had each other. They both gave a big
- 9:23yawn and closed their eyes, and they felt a sense
- 9:29of peace and tranquility wash all over them, making them
- 9:34feel very safe and very protected. And whilst they slept
- 9:42in their dreams, Percy and Jeff embarked on more magical adventures,
- 9:48and they were soaring through the starry sky on ice slides,
- 9:52dancing with the shimmering snowflakes, and most of all, laughing
- 9:58all the time. They discovered frozen flowers that bloomed in
- 10:06all shades of blues and purples, and it was filling
- 10:10the air with the sweet, crisp fragrance. They watched as
- 10:15beautiful birds made of ice flew through the sky, and
- 10:20their dreams were just as good as being in the
- 10:23real park. They so enjoyed it. When the morning arrived
- 10:32and they've had a really good sleep, Percy and Jeff
- 10:36woke up with their hearts filled with joy and gratitude
- 10:40for the fun that they had shared. Even whilst they slept.
- 10:45They were so grateful to have found each other, and
- 10:50they knew that their friendship was a treasure to be
- 10:54cherished forever. So with promises to meet again, they bid
- 11:01farewell to the ice park and to each other, and
- 11:06returned to their snowy homes. And from that day forward,
- 11:12Percy and Jeff carried the memories of their icy adventures
- 11:17in their hearts, and they would always remember it, and
- 11:23whenever they felt lonely, they would think of their playful
- 11:27escapades and the beauty of the ice park, reminding them
- 11:31both of the everlasting bonds of friendship, knowing that one
- 11:37day soon they would meet again and travel to the
- 11:41ice Park once more. And so in the vast and
- 11:47snowy landscape of the South Pole, Percy and Jeff continued
- 11:52their lives and explored whenever they could, making new friends
- 11:58and creating cherish memories, all the while embracing the wonders
- 12:05of the frozen world around them. But now it's time
- 12:12for you to sleep in your nice, soft cozy bed,
- 12:19So give a big yawn and close your eyes. Night night.
